20 Best 2 Point Sling 2022 (2022 Updated)

I have a Nikon D5600 with 2 lenses (18-55mm & 70-300mm), 2 batteries, a charger, extra memory cards, and a Peak Design Capture Clip in the bag currently. I still have room for another lens or 2, or a wallet, or perhaps a battery grip due to the way the clever design of the dividers can be used to stack things! I originally had purchased the 3L size and what I currently have in my bag would have fit, however absolutely nothing else was going in that bag.

(And there are times where I don’t want to also have to carry a purse since pockets seem to be ever elusive in women’s clothing. ) My phone wouldn’t even fit in the front pocket of the 3L. In this 6L bag, I have saved a space for my phone (Samsung Note 20 Ultra) in the front pocket and a tablet or possibly Nintendo Switch (if I rearrange things and add nothing) will be able to go in the tablet pocket.

The design of this bag feels very sturdy and well-made. It has some hidden features which points to ingenuity in its design. (I found videos by the company that helped me determine that this was the specific bag that I wanted that covered all of the features, otherwise, I probably wouldn’t have chosen this one) It seems a little pricey but I justified it by the features and the fact that I tend to use my camera bags until they are falling apart.

This bag fits my intended purpose: I wanted a bag that is comfortable, lightweight, and versatile that isn’t too bulky to fit in my carry-on or backpack when traveling. I like being able to pull it around in front of me without removing it to change lenses where the bag sort of acts as a safe workspace for doing so.

I chose the color ash because every other camera bag I have ever owned has been black so I wanted something different! This color also happens to match a brown leather chest bag that I use for traveling along my gray luggage and backpack.

This bag is certainly a keeper!.

Bought this based on the reputation of the brand and generally glowing reviews. Unfortunately, I was left a bit wanting, perhaps in part due to high expectations. The materials and build quality seem solid.

I would expect this bag will probably last many years. What I don’t love is the interior design and strap. There are two small elastic pockets on each end of the bag but the elastic loop is stiff and doesn’t stretch much.

The stiffness means it’s always stuck open so small items will fall out, defeating the purpose of making it elastic. They also don’t stretch much, so it is difficult to fit anything wide like a small can of juice or soda.

However, since it’s so taught, once you do get a can in there, it certainly won’t fall out on its own. The other issue is the strap doesn’t glide as smoothly as videos would lead you to believe. It’s comfortable enough, but going from shoulder carry to waist pack is not as simple as videos suggest.

Unless you prefer very short should straps or you have a large waist, and there isn’t much difference in strap length between the two styles. All in all, it’s a good looking bag with great build quality and some thoughtful design in other areas.

The hype and price unfortunately set the expectations to a much higher level than some competition which is what leads to a bit of disappointment in the end. Try before you buy.

Comfortable to wear on light loads and you can load it heavy if you needed to but slings aren’t meant for that. Vertx offers a quality made item with molle where you would want it. It opens easily and it is very grey man depending on color.

The inside is very wide and holds smaller sbrs easily but probably not a foldable ar (Main Compartment Dimensions: 19. 5″H). It has a nice grab handle but no spot for a bottle. With the molle convertible front you can easily mount a bottle holder if needed.

I researched a lot prior to purchasing this bag. EDC with this bag is completely under the radar yet allows me the speed to present if the situation were to arise. If it were any smaller it wouldn’t be functional and if any larger (for me) just to heavy to carry.

The only thing I felt compelled to change was an additional cover for the strap so that it was fully padded. I didn’t dock the review a star because I could see many that wouldn’t share my opinion. Thank you so much for a great bag.

Has been Amazing! I have two full hammock setups from ENO! They truly have my loyalty! The setup that I use when I am not packing light, includes the ENO house fly, and I must say that the underbelly gear sling fits perfectly right along side it.

I bought the gear sling in the middle of winter, and have used it three times. All of these times, it had succeeded my expectations! I definitely pile more weight on it than suggested, and it has held up without fail.

Also, the gear sling seems to stay very dry, no matter how dewy the morning find me. Finally, the gear sling is ONLY 7 OUNCES! I will take this everywhere.

I recently bought one of these to keep my gear a bit cleaner and drier. After first getting it out of the bag I noticed it was meant to hang around the tree instead of on the suspension system. Because of that I do believe there is a learning curve towards setting it up and hanging it just right.

The quality is still great and packs down small and light, so I will test it out a few more times before giving it the thumbs up or down on whether it goes camping with me or not. For the price though, I am not disappointed with my purchase.

I love it. We take 2 or 3 kayaking trips A month and we camp on the banks of the Current and Jack Forks Rivers. All our Eno Equipment is perfect for keeping everything dry and comfortable. Very durable and will last a long time.

Very sturdy but very soft against the skin. Has a brushed felt side that my patient says does not irritate or feel hot like his other mesh style sling.

The product arrived much quicker than estimated and at a very competitive price. It works fine on the Invacare 9805 lift despite the literature that only the chain/full body slings will work. It will greatly help in picking up a patient that has fallen to the floor since it doesn’t require getting the sling under any of the weight of the person.

The Vertx Tourist sling bag was overall smaller than I expected, but the quality is superb. The strap is long on me, and I am 6’1″ 325 lbs. The admin pouch has plenty of pockets/pen holders. The main compartment is very roomy.

The hook and loop pouch holds my Glock 40 and an extended magazine. To anyone who is on the fence, I highly recommend purchasing this bag. You won’t regret it!.

Fits my mini Draco to a T. Great bag. Handles everywhere you need them and pockets everywhere else. Good stuff.

As someone who frequently uses two cameras during public events, I had thought about this product for some time. I use a variety of cameras, but purchased it for an event where I wanted to use a Leica M-style camera and a Fuji GFX.

The need to remove the bottom plate to change the battery and the card was made more complicated with the screw in attaching mechanism. I decided given the lightness of the Leica, it just wasn’t worth the extra hassle.

With the Fuji GFX 100S, I could not attach the secondary safety backup strap because it was too short. A couple of other points. The instructional video was horrible. No closeups, the model spoke way to fast, and when it comes to stupidity this video topped the mark: The BlackRapid is black and the model wore a black shirt, so you couldn’t really see what he was doing.

The online instructions are completely inadequate, starting with the minute type necessary because the instructions were in five or six languages, all on one sheet, with diagrams. BlackRapid needs to get its act together and put more thought into its videos and instructions.

Nice dual camera harness with some modifications. I personally am very cautious with my camera gear so I was worried about the two clips in the back shoulder area that connect the strap that the cameras are attached to, to the shoulder pad area.

My fear was either they disconnect while and use and that my camera could potentially fall to the ground, or possibly someone coming behind me and un-clipping it to try and steal the camera real quick.

My fix/modification is to use a sewing machine to sew the strap onto the back shoulder pad area, pretty much the same as the front. I am not sure why this is not done already, I can not think of any reason to have the rear connections to be a clip and not sewing on.

Even with after you sew them on you can still take the two apart to make a single camera harness. I am not sure why they designed it with the clips. Maybe I’m missing something.

I bought this strap less than two months ago, used it only twice, and noticed after the second outing with my camera that the plastic Lockstar Connectr cover had broken during normal use. Very disappointing, as I have a standard Breathe strap that is still going strong without issues after years of use.

Looks like the Connectr covers on the Double Breathe are possibly made more cheaply than on the standard Breathe sling strap. That’s unacceptable for a $150 camera strap. B&H said it’s outside of the first month post-purchase, so they punted me to the manufacturer.

I’m discussing with them now and will update this review if there’s a favorable outcome.

I recently purchased a Crane M2 gimbal to use with a Sony RX100 vii. The crane comes with a very nice case, but it still needs to be attached to the camera. It’s not the fastest process. I wanted a narrow padded bag to carry the crane plus camera ready to pull out and use.

I looked around then did a live chat with a B&H rep. One of the bags he recommended was the ThinkTank Turnstyle 10 bag. I checked it out, but the internal dimensions were too short. But the next size up, this bag, was the right length.

Now the bag was designed to carry a 70-200 standing up. This was too deep. I did some modifications by adding foam, then taking the dividers and laying them flat. The camera/gimbal lays across this, then I use another divider to lay across the top.

This velcros to the side wall to firmly hold it in place. I can put this in the trunk of the car and then shoulder it. It stays safely positioned without jarring the the gimbal settings. This was not the original intention for this bag, but it works for me.

This little bag is deceptive in how much it can hold. I bought it to carry around a lens or two and some filters/batteries when I am carrying my camera on a strap, instead of the big backpack. I thought it might also work for just taking the camera with a single lens.

It does. We had to separate the body from the lens, but we were able to carry onto the plane this bag with a Nikon D810 (no grip), 70-200mm f2. 8 lens (hood turned backwards), 2x teleconverter, and an extra battery.

It was a little tight, but way better than taking the backpack for just this. It exceeded my expectations. It’s very comfortable and feels very secure. It feels even safer when carried in front for high pickpocket areas.

As a bird photographer, I wasn’t expecting to put my long lens in this bag. However, when carrying my camera with the long lens on it, I want something lightweight to carry other things (e. g. , keys, wallet, phone, water bottle, extra battery, extra memory cards, 50mm lens, lens cleaning kit, etc.

) while out on the trail. This bag is perfect for those things. The sling strap is well-padded and comfortable. The weight is much lighter than my camera backpack, and it slips around to the front for access very easily.

As an added bonus, I also started using this bag as a ‘man-purse. ‘ Before you roll your eyes, just read on. I’m routinely out and about at the grocery store or other places in my gym shorts and a t-shirt.

Before this, I would have to carry my keys, wallet, and phone in my hands everywhere since I didn’t have any pockets. This bag does NOT look like a purse– it looks like a mini-backpack. But when I check out at the store, I just slide it around, grab my wallet, pay, and sling it back around.

So it ends up doing double-duty– camera accessory bag and all-around daily bag. The bag is semi-rigid, and the zippers are all solid built. Extremely happy with this product and highly recommend it to others.

The strap on the product is of good quality but when I went to install it on the crossbow, I would have thought being it was a product of the brand name of crossbow that it would have fit the product 100%.

But, when I installed the quick attach clips into the provided holes on the crossbow forestock and butt they didn’t close correctly. The spring loaded quick clips on the end of the sling have beveled corners on the inside of the openings that interfere with the shape of the ear/loops that were drilled through on the crossbow.

Not allowing the spring to fully close the quick clip. It closes enough that the hole sits over the stem on the clip, barely. But I hope that the clip doesn’t fail in time because of the partial engagement of the peg into the loop on the spring loaded setup on the quick clip.

Oh yea, just the ticket for my Ravin. I love the ease to connect and disconnect Shoulder strap. Of course I will keep it connected during the hunting season. So you can’t go wrong buying a Ravin product for a Ravin product.

I wouldn’t trust some aftermarket. Okay, so I did pay a little more but it’s well worth it in the end.

This sling is a perfect fit on the crossbow! Quality is very good and the price was very reasonable. I recommend to everyone to try this out. You won’t regret it.

I am very pleased with my new X2 pack in Loden. I use it as the base (ruck) of my pack-system that also includes a Multi-Accessory Pouch (for game calls) attached to the webbing on the bottom flap, then I place a Mini-Me (knife, orange vest, emergency rain poncho, phone, keys, wallet, etc.

) equipped with a Bolt-Action Scabbard that slides behind the pouch, also a Large Accessory Pouch placed on top of the lid all strapped down and held in place with straps and buckles that are in just the right places.

This system allows me to remove the Mini-Me with scabbard for a short hunt or hike from the truck/camp leaving other bulky, heavier equipment (rain gear, spotting scope, tripod, extra batteries) or simply remove my rifle and a call if I do not want to carry extra unnecessary gear.

If I am going to a glassing location, in deep overnight or for several days I take it all and the deployable bird bag on the Mini-Me allows me to carry additional gear for camping since it is another extension of my entire pack system that is also in the right place.

I like this personalized pack system of packs and accessories stacked together better than stacking together the Modular system pieces that you offer because I have every piece/pack/item of my hunting gear ready for every situation I encounter while hunting.

When it comes time to haul meat I simply remove the other pieces from the X2 taking only essentials for meat hauling then put it all back together again for my next harvest. Try it, its fantastic!.

I original purchased the X2 for saddle hunting and it has since become my go-to pack for all of my whitetail needs, whether I’m in a pre-hung stand or a run-and-gun saddle setup. Like all Eberlestock products it’s extremely well built and thought out.

I love the deep pocket on the top of the pack – it works great for my headlamp, spare batteries, snacks, SD cards for my trail cameras, and even my sunglasses when needed. The main compartment typically holds additional clothing and all of my camera/filming equipment.

I store extra hats, gloves and misc items in the two large side compartments, and small items that I may need on the hike in like a knife, wind checker and spare bow rope in the waist belt pockets. Then I lash my rattling antlers and other larger items using the vertical straps and bottom panel.

This pack is very easy to adjust and rides great on my hips and back, even with a full load.

Strap is not long enough to be comfortable on a larger guy. The rubber really does not grip and it slips off my shoulder. The strap was too short to use cross body. Used once and threw away.

I purchased two of these for two Barnett crossbows I bought for my sons at Christmas. My main purpose was to buy what was designed for the crossbow and offered quick disconnect at a reasonable price and good quality.

These fill the bill for all attributes I was looking for.

The sling works great , only flaw I found was it was very difficult to mount to my Barnett raptor pro sling mounts, I did get it attached after wrestling with it for about 15 minutes. the sling ends could be a little wider so they sit over the crossbow sling mounts better.

Other than that great product.

I bought this for this year’s archery season as I am hunting a new property with a longer walk to my stand/blind. This sling is a game changer. It worked very well. The padding was sufficient and I loved how it sat on my shoulder, with little to no slippage.

Having the ability to adjust the length of the sling was also a bonus. I was able to make it longer or shorter based on the other items I was carrying so the items were not banging off one another. I would highly recommend this sling for anyone looking to sling your crossbow over the shoulder.

Oh my. First one came with broken screw mechanism. Returned and ordered a second time. Second one came with the same screw mechanism broken. Love my TenPoint crossbow, but this TenPoint sling is a Dud.

Returned. I’m getting tired of running to the FedEx drop-off box.

Because of that now-infamous chain (you know the one), I had to wait an eternity for this sling to arrive. Initially estimated to ship a month after I purchased it in early October, it did not arrive until late February.

And in that intervening third of a year, I became deeply aware of how truly awful it is to live without a sling. Every passing day would remind me of how I did not yet have my bag. The minor but endless shuffle of moving my phone to my back pocket while walking, to my front pocket while sitting—but then having to stand up again (or else drastically slouch) to get it out of my front pocket again—to placing it on a nearby surface, began to wear heavily on my spirit.

Then there were all those times in the arid Denver winter that I wished I had had lotion, lip balm, or sunscreen, but depended on luck to find any such substance on my person. And of course, the effect of keys, a money clip, a stick of lip balm, and a phone on my slender profile was disastrous for my self esteem when I now knew there was a better way.

I also became painfully aware of how many other things I wasn’t carrying around for lack of a properly sized bag: bandaids, extra masks, reusable straws, earplugs, pre-stamped postcards, glow sticks, headphones, a water bottle, a box cutter, a supply of backup feminine care products for my wife, a tape measure.

There were some dark times over those four long months where I even considered cargo pants. At times I also thought about cancelling my order and buying a different sling entirely. But so crushed was I from the delay that I couldn’t bear to risk getting my hopes up about a different sling.

Furthermore, I had done my due diligence, and I knew in my mind and my heart that the minimal styling, thoughtful functionality, and quality of this particular sling was right for me. So I continued to wait.

And when my sling finally arrived it was everything I hoped. Already have I been in situations where my ready supply of skin care products, first aid, and water have been useful to someone in need. My phone falls on the ground far less often.

People think I’m funny. And I look better in pants than I have in years. My only wish is that I could have had it sooner.

Unfortunately this particular sling does not work for my father at all. It picks him up in an almost laying down position and is frightening for my dear father who has mental issues. That one was a waste of money.

But I will say the track system for over his bed I purchased with its blue color sling that came with the unit is perfect and I will purchase extras to have on hand. Also the sit to stand unit with the padded sling that I purchased additionally is also perfect.

My father is wheel chair bound and a very stout 170lbs and both these units are offering quality to his life and safety for both my father and myself as I take care of him primarily by myself. Would highly recommend the super easy to assemble track lift unit and the sit to stand unit.

Also if my father slips on to the floor I can pick him up by myself with either unit. Has saved so many lift assist calls to the paramedics. These to units have added quality to his life making transfers easy and safe.

Worth a million in so many ways!.

Would give higher rating possibly but have not had a chance to use the product yet. Seems to be the right thing for my need. I think it would help if there were more illustrations in the accompanying brochure as to how to use the sling.

Fantastic to keep gear accessible and off the ground when hammock camping. Also super light so adds nothing to the hike. We pair hammocks beside each other and cross the gear sling between them making it even better access to get to gear while in hammock.

Bought to use with my hammock, but may use it across my popup camper to put things in at the foot of the bed. ENO hammocks are great and the green color matches my hammock. Love it.

The gear sling is a great idea and I use one on every trip I take, but not this one. The ENO Underbelly gear sling weighs 6 ounces, is made of good material and does the job holding up to 50 lbs of gear, but is not the best bang for your buck.

I use a ENO Sub-7 hammock for my hang and a second Sub-7 as my gear sling. If you ditch the caribiners and use amsteel whoopie slings to hang it, it weighs only 5 ounces and holds 300 pounds of gear.

It also gives you a back up hammock for a buddy (or if yours fails mid trip) and both cost around 50 bucks. Pay a bit more and come out ahead.
