20 Best 2Nd Gen Tacoma Mods (2022 Updated)

Wow. That’s all I can say… Wow… I put a muffler delete pipe on my last Wrangler (2 door soft top JK) and I HATED it. This came on my pre-loved JKU with a hardtop and I couldn’t be happier with it. The cold cranks sound GREAT and the sound of it when I’m rowing through the gears of my 6 speed MT is truly impressive.

What’s better is that it’s got almost *zero* highway drone. I’m a travel nurse and drive anywhere from 3 – 6 hours away from home twice a week and I’ve never once been annoyed with it. In fact, there’s times I’d let the back windows down when taking off when the light turns green because it sounds that good.

Parking deck/tunnel driving? Wowzers. It has a nice deep tone. I would describe my previous muffler delete pipe as a “growl”, “roar”, or “rumble” but this is something truly different. The upgraded cat and muffler give it a really deep note/tone that’s hard to describe in a review box.

Here’s what I suggest: buy this right now and have it installed so you can hear what I’m trying to describe. It’s truly awesome. As far as “performance gain”… I mean, it’s an exhaust system connected to a 3.

6L V6 motor in a Jeep Wrangler… Slapping this pipe under your rig isn’t gonna win you any races or save you tons of MPGs. If anything it’ll make your MPGs worse due to your heavy acceleration just to hear it… purr(?).

I dunno, it’s great lol.

Overall quality of the Borla exhaust exceeded expectations. The exhaust was well packaged as I carefully unwrapped and sorted all parts based on the detailed instructions. The finish was perfect. Overall installation took less than 40 mins.

All parts easily fit together with little effort. The install was completed at ground level with no lift or jacks. Overall sound vs stock is amazing. Defiantly a noticeable deep sound vs stock. You defiantly hear the exhaust when you get on it however at cruising speed the sound has a nice tone but it is not loud.

Very satisfied with the overall purchase.

First heard this sound on a Tacoma leaving a showroom back around 06. Loved it. Finally said I am doing this just for me. First, SType is NOT too loud – in fact, ambient noise in the shop ruined my attempt at a video.

Sounds nice a capable at idle, just a hint of rumble. Under load, it’s song comes on about 2500 to 3200 RPM, and is barely louder than my wrapped inlet pipe on the K&N air filter, then it drops out unless you stay on it.

Launch moderately, and it’s not obtrusive. Cruising at speed, you’d never know it. Absolutely NO DRONE. Haven’t had it long enough for serious measure, but first tank picked up 1 mpg highway. Love it.

Description matches what I needed. I used an Apex 12000 winch. Made a quick tiktok as TheMillennialUser on search installing this in a quick video. The fit was tight so I go shorter bolts for the brackets and chose 8.

8 grade hardware and used the supplied nut and lock washers. I only had to trim a small section off my latch support because my winch had a high profile and was wide. The winch plate totally matched the bolts for my winch and the bumper looks good on the truck.

If I used a normal winch I wouldn’t require any mods and it makes me comfortable to recommend this to anyone. There’s minor gaps on the side but this is heavy steel not plastic that can easily be molded.

But its a certified fit without modifications needed with average winches. The packaging made me a returning customer. They added foam pads molded around the bumper and still wrapped it individually.

Never seen such care for a product like this before. Highly recommend it as a customer.

DV8 has once again proven themselves. The packaging was outstanding, everything packed nicely and easy to remove from the box, as well as the protection around each piece. The hardware box was actually intact and all there, unlike some other parts I have ordered previously.

Overall happy with DV8. The look of this bumper is outstanding, the gap between the bumper and plastic didn’t bug me. The only thing that did make take a second look was that the bumper rubbed some paint off of the plastic, so if a rubber strip could be put in place along the edge, that would be GREAT! Other than that, I’m happy with how it turned out and the look of my truck with this additional mod!.

This took 4 hours to install. I worked alone. I previously installed a front receiver and that had to come off. My 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport had extra parts on my truck compared to the Extreme Terrain installation video, which was an unpleasant surprise.

Not complaining because the bumper came with zero instructions. The video helped immensely. Also, the electric ratchet wrench in the video worked on all bolts easily without muscling at all, which definitely was not real world.

One thing I did when that really helped me when reassembling was to group various screws and bolts and label from where they came. There were no 10 mm bolts for the AC cooling coil relocation. This video did not include the installation of the lighting mounts.

The video completes and I had this light mount laying on the garage floor. I had to loosen up the front of the bumper and painstakingly install the light mount. That would have been way easier to install before mounting the bumper and bolting in.

No place for your license plate. I have magnet license plate mounts coming. I did not install my winch. I do not like having it on board all the time. This is the one major failing of all of these truck front bumpers.

You cannot easily install and uninstall the winch, like I could with my Jeep Wrangler. Good luck with your mod.

Great product and highly recommend. Smooth latch and pull swing mechanism. Under the tray, which lifts out is another compartment, which is convenient. Couple notes. for 3rd gen Tacoma, the box sticks out about 2 inches to the inside of the bed relative to the wheel well depth (not completely flush with the depth of the wheel well).

If it was, it would be too narrow, so no concern. Secondly, for my 2021 Tacoma, which doesn’t have the passenger-side bed box, this case cannot be mounted per the instructions since it uses several bolts from the bed box.

However, with a bit of a workaround it can still be mounted just fine. Will need several extra bolts and a way to ensure height is correct and rear latch is lined up properly. It can work, just takes a bit more thought.

The UnderCover Swing Case Storage System for the Passenger Side of my 2020 Tundra is great. It was very easy and quick to install. The product was light weight, yet appears durable. It fits under the lip of the bed, snug on the wheel well, not taking any bed space.

We were so pleased with the one we installed on the drivers side that we added the passenger. We were also pleased that it held more than we expected. Works very smoothly, even with a rhino liner installed first.

Installing it was easy, good directions, somehow the plastic part that holds the box to the wall came off and I had a spring and a couple plastic parts on the floor of the truck, will call to see if that part can be replaced, currently I have a bolt keeping the tool box from swinging around.

BTW, I didn’t even have any tools in it yet when this happened.

Did not come with a rubber grommet for the heat shield that separates the filter from the hot air in the engine bay. Came with tiny 2mm alan head screws for the mass airflow sensor, rounded those out immediately trying to torque them down.

Had to drill them out to extract them, went to hardware store and purchased my own phillips head replacements. Poor quality hardware from such a prestigious brand.

Awesome. K&N stands behind their product %100. Instructions were great and easy to understand. This particular product did improve my gas mileage, horsepower, and actually gave my 2001 Tacoma a better sound (assuming because I already have a full exhaust).

Only thing I’d ask for is more or bigger stickers, haha Men love stickers!.

K&N is the best! I have contacted them for a variety of issues and every time I have been taken care of with no problem. Excellent customer service. Love my K&N intake on 2004 Toyota Tacoma V6 3. 4L.

114,000 miles. The intake has increased acceleration and response. Overall the engine has opened up to its real output potential.

Fitment is great. They look like quality parts. They will lower an extended cab short bed v8 2wd Silverado a total of 3/4” on letting the truck down the first time. After some drive time, the spring steel will relax and rubber that has to take a new set will result in another 1/4” or so of drop.

Ride is about 20% stiffer. But I didn’t buy the truck new, so I am only comparing to old springs with 200000 miles on them. P. S. I wouldn’t advise it, but if you want it to be just 1/4” or so lower.

At first, I lowered my 92 Mighty Max by installing lowering blocks on the rear end and cutting a coil and a half off of the front coil springs. I achieved the look I wanted, however, the ride was too stiff for my tastes.

I installed the Belltech coil spring kit along with Belltech street performance shocks in front and rear. Needless to say, I should have done this in the first place. Now I have the look I want along with a much smoother ride.

I recommend.

I bought this product a few weeks ago and I like the quality and performance of these shocks. I would recommend these to any one who wants a racing feel and performance product for their car or truck.

These are stiff suspension shocks and will make your car a little rough on rough and bumpy roads. But over all I do not regret getting these for my Mighty Max.

All I can say is definitely get this intake! I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this intake and was a bit skeptical of the not so good reviews with missing parts, intake not lining up correctly with the throttle body, to the MAF sensor not mounting flush to the intake tube.

Well you can throw all those reviews out the door! If you have a 2012 TACOMA with the 4. 0L then this intake was made specifically just for you! Great sounding intake at WOT but quiet at cruzing speeds! Get this CAI!!.

Not even sure I am getting the power or fuel economy advertised. The real issue for me was the half ass instructions provided. I used a lot of common sense to bypass the frustration caused by their instructions.

The biggest issue was the time it took to figure out how to get the air filter on within the air box. I used WD40 to lubricate the edges, after fighting it for a good 40 minutes. Later read others cut their filters.

I don’t recommend that. Overall the jury is still out on this.

The Volant CAI system was relatively straight forward to install. In fact, most of the time was spent on removing the OEM intake system and components. The Volant CAI looks great in the engine bay and performs as expected.

There is definitely a noticeable “growl” under the hood at wide open throttle and heavy acceleration. Would definitely recommend this product to those considering an aftermarket intake upgrade!.

I think it looks awesome but struggled a bit with install. The license plate holder does contain a light however, it seems that any cover will not work due to light placement and the curve on the bottom of the bracket.

As for the rear backup sensors. Getting them off the old plastic bumper was a real pain. Had to call DV8 support to figure out how to mount the sensors. I got the pdf for the install which I will link below, so I hope they will include it on the product page but is much more work than anticipated.

NOTE: the housings may need to be trimmed slightly in order to fit properly. ” I ended up buying MOPAR SENSOR BEZEL from DV8 instead of that hassle so now I have to wait. Overall, it will be worth it in the end but plan accordingly if you have sensors.

Like several other reviewers here, I fully agree the receiver port is very impractical and a challenge. The fit, finish, and quality of the bumper is excellent, it looks great, with a clean design, and is not as heavy as some other choices.

All good. But the integration of the receiver port is maddening. You need small hands, and the stubbiest short hitch pin you can find to maneuver it into place (from below and behind), and yes, once in, the pin is a challenge to remove.

The hitch pin hole area is within the enclosed space of the bumper. There are no safety chain holes. I loop safety chains through the D-rings, as attached. But this requires enough chain/cable length to make the longer reach.

If your trailering needs are light and infrequent, then you can probably live with the awkward design.

First the quality of the bumper appears to be excellent. The packaging was as good or better than any aftermarket product I’ve ever received. However, the lack of any instructions or even a link to them a silly oversight.

And the fact that you have to buy a separate kit to attach the rear parking sensors in order to avoid flying them is asinine. Surely will all the money DV8 is saving on not printing instructions could be used to making their product truly functional out of the box!.

This bumper is a great low price option for a metal rear bumper. Probably one of the best options if you aren’t going high clearance and cutting the bedside. Installation assistance is best with extreme terrains YouTube video rather than reading the instructions.

If you have a trailer hitch and large hands, installing the spacers and bolts are hard to do under the truck but everything else is pretty easy. You can’t use the blind spot monitor system with this bumper so you will have to zip tie off the connectors.

I chose to just tuck away the back up sensors too. In the install video they don’t mention that the hitch plug harness does not reach with the new location. You will have to remove some harness hold downs from underneath the truck to extend the plug and make it reach.

When installed correctly the panel gaps aren’t bad at all between bumper and bed it’s not on and done, there is some adjustment that can be made. There are openings in the bumper for pod lights but there are no mounting points.

You will have to install your own by either welding on brackets or drilling holes through the bumper. My bumper was missing the hardware for the license plate but I was able to use two of the oem bumper bolts and some nuts that were spares in the hardware kit that worked fine.

Without assistance the bumper can be awkward to hold onto while placing onto the truck. It would be best to have help setting it down but after that it’s an easy one person job.

I was looking at rear bumpers for my JL for some time and came across this one. I was looking for a bumper with tire carrier that wouldn’t break the bank (ended up at about $900). Overall I’m impressed with the quality and am glad I got this one with other bumpers receiving some not so good reviews.

I had some help with installation and definitely recommend having the second set of hands. Instructions include how to disassemble original bumper, but it’s not hard to do without them. Installation instructions are pretty good and easy to follow.

Only negative I have at this moment is that it does add a significant amount of weight; I have the rear squatting a noticable amount on a rough country 2. 5 lift. I’m looking at getting some stiffer rear springs to solve the problem.

It was nice to have a license plate option for the bumper as a lot of aftermarket bumpers don’t. I used a separate third brake light relocate to the center of the spare.

Got rear ended a couple months ago and the stock bumper was damaged. I was recommended to get a steel bumper. Chose this one because it didn’t require much changes. Only downside was that the parts that came with this was the plugs for the backup sensors.

It was a size too small and just goes through the hole. Therefore was not usable. Overall, I like the look and hopefully the protection.

Pretty straight forward installation that goes much easier with a second person helping to lift and steady the bumper to adjust the alignment. Mine came with a license plate relocation bracket with a LED light which was simple to wire in.

The included LED spotlights are super bright, night day difference from the stock reverse lights. I chose to wire them to an Aux switch to use them at leisure, rather than splicing into the reverse light wires.

Perhaps the only downside is the appearance since the muffler seems to look more obvious now.

This is the first bumper that caught my eye and I finally decided to go back to it. Came packaged very securely. Instructions would definitely go a long way. Bumper says that halogen fog light housings weren’t work however with my 2021 Sahara altitude halogen fog lights I simply had to make the screw holes slightly bigger and they fit perfectly.

I did swap out the halogen lights for LEDs but the housing still worked. Bumper also looks slightly off centered with a corner sticking out more on the one side. Drives my OCD a little nuts but overall love the look.

Took about 4 hours to uninstall and reinstall with swapping out parts and such.

No instructions were included with the kit and initially Cameron that assisted me with the purchase never mentioned the wrench level for the product. Overall, the install was simple enough. The only issue my husband and I came across was that my truck spent 6 years in N Dakota where I was stationed.

All the salt they use on their roads did not make the install “easy or smooth”. I do love how my truck rides with it, some reviews for this product stated that the ride would be stiff, but I do not feel that way.

Even after install, as I drove it to the shop to get an alignment done, my steering wheel never vibrated and didn’t pull to either side. Just ensure that you have a coil suspension compression kit if you don’t have a mounted tool like the pros do.

Bought the Old Man Emu light load kit and also ordered JKS adjustable track bars, adjustable JKS sway bar end links and JKS brake line relocation brackets. The install took me about 6 hours in my garage and went quite well.

Found some helpful install videos online of how the install goes and it was a big help to know what to expect. As for the kit WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE from the stock suspension. My JK has 100,000 miles on it and after the install the drive is a huge difference.

The OLD MAN EMU kit is a great upgrade and the Jeep is about 3. 25 inches taller. Front and rear axles were about 5/8″ off center and the JKS adjustable track bars made the correction easy to accomplish.

The only other adjustment was needing to center up the steering wheel. IT was about a third of a turn off center and freaked out the ABS traction system on initial test drive. Easily corrected by loosening up the drag link adjustor and making a couple turns.

Highly recommend this kit if you are looking for 2. 5″ – 3″ of quality lift. My only suggestion is to do it right and add the adjustable track bars / end links and brake relocation brackets.

I’ve never installed a lift kit before, so I recruited a very knowledgeable friend to help me. We watched the ET tutorial on YouTube and got to work. We didn’t have a coil spring compressor, so we improvised by using the floor jack against the weight of the vehicle.

Worked like a charm. I love the way my Tacoma looks now. It didn’t take quite a full Saturday. Maybe 6 hours? Also, I haven’t had the chance to take it off road yet. I want to take it in for a front end alignmant first.

I went with this bumper for a number of reasons. 1 Factory look, Check 2 Rear protection, Check 3 Recovery points, Check 4 Ability to add auxiliary lights, Check 5 Quality, Check 6 Price, Check Only thing I would recommend for anyone thinking about this bumper that lives in an area that has snow or salt is to bring it to your local Line-X dealer and have them coat it.

It loos great coated and it will last much longer than if you left it powder coated. With the right tools and equipment it should only take around 2 to 3 hours to install.

Took about 45 minutes to install. Oy issue I ran into is trailer harness is not long enough. I need to see if there is slack somewhere underneath where I can get a couple of more inches. Would like to raise it another inch.

But not sure where to find more of those spacers? Also anyone know what lights will fit perfectly in those empty holes?.

I installed this kit on my 2014 Unlimited Polar Edition. The ride quality is great for daily driving – the suspension is much more responsive than stock. The responsiveness makes the trail experience much better as well.

I felt like I didn’t get tossed around as hard after installing this kit. The install was straight forward minus the track bar relocation bracket. It didn’t even come close to fitting and I had to drill out the factory location so the new bolts would fit.

It was also hard to tell what this kit comes with. It has bump stop spacers for the rear, but not the front. Also, an adjustable front track bar is needed to properly align the frame and body with the front axle.

Other than those couple of items, this is a great kit and I couldn’t be happier with it. My jeep looks great and drives great.

Alignment was perfect. Much more responsive than stock on road and more capable offroad. Leaf pack squeaks like crazy though. That’s the only draw back. If you plan on pushing the weight rating on the medium duty leafs I’d recommend going with the HD pack to save yourself the bottom outs that will occur.

I went with the fox 2. 0 setup because I didn’t want anything over a 2” lift for multiple reasons. I didn’t want to upgrade the UCA or run a 33. I have done all that in the past and it was pointless just like wanting reservoirs on your coil overs, it’s all for show.

We aren’t out there pounding whoops in Baja so it’s a waste of money in my opinion. These shocks were the perfect upgrade for added off-road performance and leveling the truck out. I went with a 265/75/16 instead of a 285/75/16 for multiple reason I didn’t want to deal with trimming/rubbing issues and I didn’t want to compromise my fuel economy.

Every Tacoma looks the same I wanted something a little different and kinda a sleeper. The performance of the shocks are very noticeable from stock. It rides very well on road as I like a stiffer truck with not a lot of body roll and smooth as butter off-road.

Don’t waste your money on 2. 5 coil overs with reservoirs. These will do everything you want. Look at Toyotas in other countries they leave them bone stock and take them places you wouldn’t believe. I don’t like the stink bug look and these solved that plus a little better ride quality.

Also they are very easy to install I did all 4 in about 2 hours. Highly recommend these to any Toyota owner.

Happy with the ride, it rides the best with 1” lift which was already set for 2” but settled at 1” for my 4wd, very smooth on and off road. Install was easy. Purchase was even double checked for fraud.

Definitely a well thought out design. This bumper is minimalistic in its overall weight and dimensions yet it has a very pleasing aesthetic. As a former Army Paratrooper I aim to live a “snag free” existence.

These bumpers help achieve that goal on this truck. They fit snug to the truck and don’t hang off beyond the width of the vehicle. At some angles the vehicle even appears to be bumperless its so streamline with the truck.

The “stealth fighter” title is well earned here. ADD has added stealthy appearance to this truck in a solid build sleek and slender bumper series. My only grievance is the rear bumper has the words “stealth fighter” placed dead center above the hitch.

To me that space should be snag free and unfortunately due to the imprint location there is snag potential. I did add two ROK IR/LED cube lights to the front bumper; As well as a barricade 9500 lbs winch.

The winch works fine it was tested today. The Lights are a work in progress. Thank you Extreme Terrain and Addictive Desert Designs. It was worth the ever extended lead times. Keep up the good work. Stay safe, stay healthy.

Easy install. I was able to his it in position some another started the nuts. Lights installed very easy, but I still need to adjust them a little. After I got everything on, now I see that I’m off a bit on the alignment.

Welds are great and the finish is well done. Packaging from ADD is creative. They put the bumper in a bag, put it in the box, then fill it with spray foam, so there was no damage during transit. Since I waited 2.

5 months for them to arrive, I already had ask my lights and wires ran. So ask I had to do was mount the lights to the bumper and mount it. But I’d say you could do it in an afternoon if you’re wanting to do it all at once.

Taking off the stock bumper is simple.

Ionel said that overall it was a straight forward install & my winch & light bars were fairly easy to install. The only downside is that my remote to the winch has to stay plugged in & strapped to me engine compartment bc of lack of access to plug & unplug it.

And I have to power feed the winch cable out w/ the remote bc lack of access to the release lever on the winch. But, for me, that probably won’t be a problem bc I don’t plan on getting stuck!!!LOL My wife picked out the set-up & she absolutely loves the beast mode look it gives our truck.

& bc of the stealth design it doesn’t stick out as far as the factory bumper, so my Taco still fits in my small garage!!!.

My question is why? I acknowledge it was my initial fault for not reading thoroughly before purchasing, however, why make such a cheap part and why would anyone want to extend their front struts with plastic? I guess you get what you paid for.

Never buying another product from Rough Country. I understand they have other products with better material, but the fact that Rough Country is willing to selling cheap Plastic is enough for me to never trust what their brand has to offer.

Finished product on the truck really improved the look. I will say initially the product came with the wrong hardware bag. Had the first strut out before I realized. Looking back I should have made sure the hardware matched.

On top of that I got the composite and it cracked when installing onto the strut. Might be worth the extra 20 to go aluminum.

Almost. Before and after measurements show my truck actually gained about 1 5/8″. That being said, it looks great. The stance is on the money. This install was pretty simple, performed with mostly hand tools in my driveway by myself.

The truck rides great. I took it for an alignment immediately and it was still pretty well on the money. I’d still recommend an alignment. Good product for the money.

Another “you get what you pay for” review. I had an AEV full sized front bumper on my JK. I loved it, but didn’t care for their new design, so went for the ARB. This is a top quality bumper with quality welds and simple yet sophisticated design.

Installation went ‘OK’, but it was a tight fit with my Sahara fenders. Probably a little more clearance on a Rubicon. Definitely need two people to install as it needs to be lifted up flush to the fenders, pushing up on them slightly, in order to get mounting holes aligned.

There is no air between the fender and bumper. Looks good though. Almost like its a one piece design. Extreme Terrain’s sample picture is right on as to the way it fits. I gave it a 4 star vs. 5 for not calling this out, but I would make the purchase again.

Very sharp. I also painted the two rings on the front to match the Jeep’s Tuscadero Pink. It’s my wife’s Jeep, and she’s in love!.

First it came packaged very well. The instruction pictures could have been a little better detailed. The quality of the finish is great and seems to be quite durable. It was an easier install than expected although have a good friend with you who is mechanically inclined.

If the hardware could have been packaged with what and where it went would have saved some guess work. I think it was advertised somewhere that it would take approximately 2 hours. It took us 8. The finished product is awesome and I am very happy altogether.

The quality and workmanship of this bumper are second to none. I’m not sure who estimated the install time to be about 2. 5 hours, but that estimate is absolutely wrong. It takes at least that long to disassemble the old bumper, cut out the crush cans, dress the edges, install the extensions, paint them, then the instructions call for gluing them to the back of the new bumper to ensure proper bolt alignment.

I used 5 minute epoxy and let them set overnight before trying to mount the bumper to the frame. The installation is not particularly difficult, but it is made more difficult by the poor instructions.

The photos are reprints of black and white pictures, and really don’t help much. Fortunately, there is at least one YouTube video that discusses the crush cans in detail making at least that part of the installation easier (by the way, that is probably the most difficult part of the process).

You are provided one huge bag of bolts and miscellaneous parts, and you are left to figure out which bolts are to be used for each part of the assembly. I laid all of the parts out on the workbench before starting the installation and tried to match them out to the appropriate part.

Rewiring the fog lights and adding the wiring extensions for the new indicator lights are not difficult, but just takes time to do it right. Overall, it is not a difficult installation, but will take the help of a second person to help you mount the new bumper on the frame rails as it weighs close to 200#.

The most disappointing part of the kit was the lack of a winch cover plate. The bumper is designed to be installed with, or without a winch. If installed without a winch, the instruction say to mount the winch cover plate to the top of the bumper prior to mounting the bumper on the frame.

What they don’t tell you is that it is not included in the kit (but it is listed in the parts included in the instruction manual). I called Extreme Terrain only to find after they did some checking, that it was NOT included in the kit and had to be ordered separately.

Extreme Terrain does not carry the part, so I was left to try and find it myself. The bumper itself is awesome! It looks great, fits perfectly and I have no doubt that it will last for the life of my Jeep.

Make sure you read the directions carefully before starting, and just recognize that it will take the better part of the weekend to install it correctly.

Was reluctant to buy, wondering what gains I’d receive. Glad I did. Improvement in performance was immediate. Accelerates faster with more power at the wheels. Feels like a different truck. Install was pretty straightforward although it took longer than stated in the instructions.

The harness is bulky and presents a challenge to stuff neatly behind glove box. Overall very satisfied.

Absolutely wonderful! This Chip along with my Volant Cold Air intake with ram air scoop and Flowmaster Exhaust make my truck sound amazing! Install was a little difficult but that was due to the design of the truck.

I had a hard time getting my big old hands into the very small workspace.

I installed it myself in under 40 minutes, very easy. The only issue was space, and jamming all the cables back in so the glove box will still close. With Cold air intake, cat back exhaust, it makes a huge difference in low end torque for hauling, and just so much smoother running all around.

Highly recommended.

Installed on a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road with stock rims 265/70/R16 tires, TJM front and rear bumpers, No winch. Installation was rather straight forward, front shocks are not assembled so you need to reuse the original top hat.
