20 Best 3 Blade Ceiling Fan (2022 Updated)

This is a very good looking fan. Note however that the motor does not reverse for winter operation. This is contrary to what is stated on the Build. com website. Note also that the finish is shiny metal, as another reviewer has noted.

The finish is so shiny it’s actually reflective, so you’ll need to be good with that before ordering. As with others, I had to order an extension downrod from another company.

We bought the gun-metal version of this. Build. com didn’t have the corresponding extension down-rod and sloped roof adapter so we had to go elsewhere for that. We LOVE this fan. People make comments about it all the time.

We have this in our Master bedroom as well as the living room in our walk-out basement. wall controls are simple and easy, fan is quiet, and it looks STUNNING.

This fan is very well designed and works well. Only complaint is relatively significant wobble at high speeds. We love the wall mount control and fan moves plenty of air. The gunmetal finish is very shiny, like black chrome.

It took my husband and myself about 1 hour to install which is good considering we are amateurs. Instructions were a little sketchy on some steps. It’s pretty silent. I like the many speeds and works really well to create a very nice breeze.

The dimmer for the light adjusts quite a bit as well. We were annoyed at first that any time you change the speed or turn it on, it makes a little chirp. Then, when we had our cats in the room, we changed the speed and the cats heard the “bird”, and were looking around for it.

So, now we think it’s kind of funny and entertaining to see our cats look for the bird.

We just closed last week – 11/23/21 – on our new custom home in Murrells Inlet. The builder chose this porch fan (only in black) and it has not worked since we moved in – our research has determined this fan is remote driven and the remote is easily broken; there appears to be no other way to run this fan.

I have reached out to the builder to no avail – I as we have no idea where it was purchased. I would appreciate any help you might give – this is so very frustrating.

Love the product. Sleek and modern. Good light. Nice and quiet. Cons: not easy to assemble – I paid an electrician to install. Also, bulb cannot be replaced when it burns out

Great design, love the aesthetics in my small, low-ceiling office. Exactly what I wanted to stay cool in hot months but keep an open, airy design in a tight space. Minus one star bc it makes a low frequency humming noise when on which my other fans don’t make.

Also, the light sometimes comes on by itself but overall I like it.

It says it is rated 1500 lumens but it’s really more like half that. You can dim and brighten the light but even on their brightest setting they don’t seem to output enough to fully light a small room well.

Light is the only disappointing part, everything else on these works great.

Ive bought four of these fans they worked great. I damaged a blade and I could not find a replacement so I ordered another complete fan. The new fan came with a different blade configuration,now the fan is slower than all the other ones in my shop very disappointing.

Easy to install. Easy to change to wireless remote control. Works perfectly. Very pleased.

We just hung this fan in our living room and although I was a little skeptical that 3 blades would not move a lot of air I was happily surprised. The modern look of the dark metal blades against the silver rod is perfect and matches our decor perfectly.

We love it so much we plan on buying a second one for our bedroom.

I’ve gotten to know more about ceiling fans than I ever thought I would in this lifetime. This particular design is pretty standard from where it mounts to the blades and the three light fixture. The coloring is both classic and modern, a timeless look that goes well with almost any choice of decor.

The finish is great and, judging by the structure, there’s nothing that will be difficult to clean over time either. I have those pull chains where one is shaped like a lightbulb, one like a fan and they look great with this too.

Personally, I prefer this sort of fan for most rooms. You can get fans with much longer and much shorter blades but this size will work best for most room sizes. I have a fan with a remote but there’s a certain paranoia to losing remotes so the regular pull chains are a reliable favorite.

The fan runs sturdy, no extra noise, and wasn’t difficult to install properly. Definitely a brand to trust.

I’m unsure what angles they use in the photos on here. It looks bigger online for sure. But shame on me for not looking for the measurements more closely. It is the tiniest ceiling fan I’ve ever seen – it looks like a toy.

We put this in our enclosed Florida room, which is not that big of a room. It’s like a patio size room. It does put out decent air on the highest setting, but you feel it more straight down while standing under it than spread out throughout the room.

This size would be fine for a small kitchen area, or a laundry room, somewhere you are going to be right under it. Installation was fine and it feels like a good quality, although it was a little strange to screw in the fan blades through a hole in the bottom of the motor(?) It includes 2 candelabra bulbs but which have regular (medium) bases.

Because the glass bowl is pretty small, it needs the narrower bulbs.

These fans are in a class all by themselves no matter how quieter most manufacturers claim a fan to be, by hunter or harbor breeze for example, these are exponentially more quiet. The dc motor makes the difference my husband said.

Hope i got that term correct. Great remotes and easy to work with Modern Forms app once you get it set up. there is a delay when you switch on the power but, this is not an issue for us. We slowly replaced all 7 fans in our house with this model, including the porch and the garage.

I purchased 3 of these fans. They are extremely modern looking however on the smaller side. They are great for a very small room.

Beautiful!! Arrived well packaged and within a few days of purchase. Great addition to our newly renovated living room. The light can go from very dim to extremely bright. And it definitely helps to keep the place cool.

We got this to replace the light and fan in our dining room and was pleasantly surprised with how small it was in comparison. Then once it was on was literally blown away by how quiet and strong the breeze it created was.

Even on the lowest setting it was circulating air more than our old one on high power. Installation was VERY quick and easy, although a few of the early steps with the post were confusing and I had to remove the wires from the post to add the covers first.

In all it took 40 minutes to remove the existing fan and lights, and install this one. I wish it came with a smaller post to hang from to allow it to be closer to a flush mount. It does hang lower than anticipated but is still out of main headroom when walking underneath.

I can reach the top of the blades for easy cleaning without getting a stool/ladder though. Luckily the chains had an extension I could remove so they were not dangling too low and being run into. Overall it is a great light and fan and the colors are great.

They classed up our dining room and made it feel much more clean and modern without being an attention hog against the other decorations.

I do really like Harbor Breeze Mac Ceiling fan with Color Changing Temperature Technology, the fact that this fan mounts flush to the ceiling and there are no pull chains hanging down, which gives it a nice modern & clean look is high on my list here.

We have a very large master bedroom, and this pushes air around nicely, so that the room doesn’t feel stuffy. Keeps us nice and cool in these warmer months too since it has 3 speeds. My husband loves the fan on high when sleeping, it’s very quiet and it doesn’t shake, so it’s comfortable to sleep with it on.

Love the options to change the color setting of lights, from a cool to warm with 5 options available, we remain with the cooler white for out room, to appear more daylight colors. You cannot change the light color from the remote, there’s a switch to choose under the light glass.

You can control the brightness though, by pressing and holding the light control to dim or brighten the lights The only drawback is that when the lights go out, you will need to replace the fan, but, LED are supposed to last a few years, probably would want another look or style by that point.

The remote control is a cool feature, makes it super convenient for me to change the light color, or speed of the fan, and it’s a nice small modern looking remote, therefore doesn’t take up much space on our nightstands or make it look cluttered.

It’s a very modern looking style, has the brushed nickel finish with 2 options of colors for the blades, a nice gray or more brown wood tone. We chose the gray in order to match our more modern bedroom style.

Overall, very happy with the look, function and quality.

I was very happy to receive my pretty neat 3 Blade Harbor Breeze Monroem 32 Inch Bronze Indoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light because we just had gotten an amazing new Harbor Breeze Fan for our living room & we were wanting one for our bedroom! So this one worked out perfectly! The fan was shipped in it’s own original box without being put in any other box for extra protection which was a bit of a disappointment because the last fan we got was sent packaged like it was glass.

To my surprise though, when I opened the box, the fan’s pieces & light & such were still nicely secure in it’s own box thankfully. Getting down to business, the fan itself was like any other standard fan to install for the most part.

It worked well for our small space. I wish it could’ve had a 3rd option of being flush mounted, but we went with the standard flat ceiling option with the 6 inch down rod. Everything you need you need to be able to install the fan comes in the box.

You will have to provide all the tools though. I had my husband here to help with installation, as I’m not tall enough to do it by myself. But, it was not hard to do. You must have basic knowledge of how to install lights & fans and you’re good to go.

Remove your initial bedroom light, make sure you put up a fan brace & then install your new fan & follow the instructions step by step!!! You must do this! Then you’ll be able to enjoy your pretty neat new fan! I like the fact that the fan is different and has only 3 blades.

Looks like a propeller too me. The bronze color goes well with my bedroom furniture so I’m very tickled about that. I like that I can choose between 2 different shades of brown on the blades. The fact that the blades are reversible is nice as well.

A remote would’ve been the icing on the cake but I can deal with the easy to pull chains hanging here. They don’t get stuck when you pull em which is nice. Even the LED light is nice! No more changing light bulbs!!! Highly recommended fan & company in general! Great products.

This fan is worth every dollar. Install took about an hour with clear instructions. With a nice sleek appearance the white matte finish blends perfectly into my ceiling. The cooling power is unbelievable.

I have this fan in a large living room with 20ft ceilings and it cools the entire room on a hot day. It’s runs smoothly and quietly which is what I look for a good fan. You won’t be disappointed. I would definitely recommend.

I love this fan! IT was very easy to install and looks wonderful in my bedroom. It cools really nicely and it’s so quiet. The instructions were really detailed, and I already had a ceiling fan, so this installed easily.

My wife helped me to install it, and we did it in less than an hour. It has a remote, and also a wall control. It has several speeds and the light is low profile and the fan is easy to clean. Perfection!.

This seem to be a nice fan. It decent sized blades so it can move air pretty well around even pretty large rooms. Installation is no problem as long as the instructions provided are followed. It’s also nice to have the option to mount the fan on a sloped ceiling as well as having two different sized downrods included.

This is just a tad above your normal everyday lighted ceiling fan. Its a 3 blade that does move air very well. The light has the ability to change temperatures or Kelvins which is handy for setting the mood.

Maybe you like it bright white when you eat and mellow yellow while you read. The pull chain rather than a remote is handy for me but I can see some would much rather have the remote. My experience with remotes is negative because if you can’t hit the reciever just right you’ll be fighting it for awhile and thats just a headache.

Overall a solid fan and strongly considering getting more for other rooms to replace older units.

The fan was installed in our son’s bedroom. The brushed nickel look adds a touch of class. For a fan of this size it is very quiet compared to a similar fan installed in our master bedroom a few years back.

The LED light is bright enough to light up the room without requiring and additional light source. We had a professional electrician install a separate wall switch so that both the fan and light could be operated independently using the switch.

Overall this is a very nice fan and I am looking forward to using it for several years.

Off the bat I give this a four star, I like that you have the option of changing the color of the light but in my opinion it’s silly that you have to take off the little plastic piece to change the tone of the light.

With the tech of these color changing lights these days I feel like it’s a reasonable ask. Other than that this is a nice fan, the chrome finish is sleek and it is very quiet! Install was simple and I am enjoying it in my space.

Again just wish it came with a remote for ease of changing the light color and even the fan speed but maybe that’s a different model for a different day.

As subject says very nice ceiling fan, quiet and doesn’t look cheap. It’s footprint on the ceiling is very minimal compared to most other fans in terms of size. However,instructions are extremely poor and inadequate.

If you haven’t installed on of these things before, I suggest having it installed by someone who has. Had the instructions been up to par, this would be a 5 star. Have only had it up and running one week however.

We really wanted to like this fan but it has too many problems. It always seems to wobble, the motor is the too noisy, the wind output is low and lights get extremely hot unless you put in (expensive) LEDs.

At least the return process is painless with Walmart.

I installed two of these attractive units in our master bedroom, without hassle or strife. It gives the look of the Haiku fan for a fraction of the cost, and the units are definitely well made, quiet and sturdy.

I could not be more satisfied. The order arrived quickly and the confirmations and shipping info were super accurate. Got a big smile as a result.

We bought a great fan. When we took it out of the box it was going to hang to low. When trying to return (and wanting to buy another fan from them – which we will not now) the return was just cumbersome.

Three 20 minute phone calls, numerous emails and I even had to take pictures of the fan and explain in detail why we were returning. Wish it would have been easier – but we won’t use this company again.

The fan works great. The light is more yellow and you can ONLY get replacements from the manufacturer if it ever goes out.

Love the looks of this fan but I was a little disappointed the blades are plastic. Tbh, I didn’t read the details if the description stated this so that would be my fault. Otherwise, looks good and wasn’t too bad to install ourselves.

Installed in a large room with vaulted ceilings to mix the air during winter months. Works perfectly and looks great. Planning to buy a 2nd.

I’m very impressed with this fan. I feel like the design is perfect for a modern look and it can go with just about any decor. I feel as if it can be used in a living room, family room, or a bedroom but I choose the living room for mine.

The installation process is fairly simple and just requires a tiny bit of elbow grease, the ability to read instructions, and a little bit of common sense. In my house, the ceilings are white so immediately upon entering the room, you’re eyes are drawn to the fan because that black color catches your eyes.

A ceiling fan with a light is always a bonus because it’s a two in one deal. You have illumination and a gentle breeze at the same time. Speaking of the illumination, the LED light provides an ample amount of light into the room without being too bright or too dim.

The fan itself provides great air circulation throughout the whole room and it’s an even flow. Overall, I really love it!! It is a conversation starter, an eye catcher, and it provides excellent air and illumination!!.

We got these for our home’s living and Mater bedroom. Built in the late 60s, our home has lower ceilings. We were hesitant, but decided on the white fan, which blends right in and doesn’t draw the eye to it.

The fans are modern, but also timeless and clean looking. We opted for no light on the fan as we also installed LED lighting throughout the house and we are so glad we went that route. The only issue was one of the wall controls did not work.

We ended up using a more simple “slider” control on both units so they match. We are super happy with these fans and don’t be afraid of the white – it doesn’t look “dated” like my wide feared.

Pros : Nice Clean Design, Seems to work ok Cons : Ease of Installation/Lack of Good Instructions Overall it seems to be ok. The installation was more difficult than it should have been due to pretty poor instructions that were included.

I ended up having to use “common sense” to figure it out. Also, one of the screws was overtightened when it came and I could not get it out. The cover plate is just a tad off because of this thus a 3 star rating.

We received our fan and had it installed by an electrician only to discover that the outer cylinder wasn’t round, so the fan wobbled. This isn’t anything that balancing the fan can fix, it’s a manufacturing defect.

To their credit, Ylighting replaced the unit and had us dispose of the first (surprisingly – seems a waste since only the outer cowl was malformed). Before install I took the motor unit (with outer cowl attached) out of the box and spun it to discover the identical problem.

Everything else about this fan is alright, but for $300 a ceiling fan shaped like a cylinder should be ROUND.

So happy with this fan (so far). I bought this fan as part of an overall bedroom revamp, to replace a clunky, cheap, ugly Home Depot fan installed by the previous homeowner. I I selected the all white model, and it blends right in to the ceiling, not a huge eyesore like its predecessor.

So quiet, the first time we used it my husband didn’t even realize it was running. I like having both the wall switch for turning on before bed and off when I leave the bedroom in the morning, but also the remote, if we want to switch speed or turn off during the night without getting out of bed.

I have bought other Modern Fans below mainly for their sleek design and excellent reputation. I bought this one to solve a problem. The heating vent in my living room/ open kitchen area is placed 14’ up.

I needed a powerful fan to push the hot / cold air down. Wow is this fan a game changer!.

Such a beautiful fan. Very sophisticated and well designed. It’s compact, but moves air around nicely. It was pricy, but the quality is definitely there. So stylish! Gets lots of compliments.

This is a beautiful fan, I got the white base with the grey barn wood blades for my bedroom. It looks stunning + it’s super quiet. Very heavy though – it is the first time I install a ceiling fan, so my ceiling needed strong reinforcement.

Love the fan. Works great. Doesn’t make any extra noise. Color of the blades is great just wished blades were a bit thicker. We got same fan for kids bedrooms and that grey is way different more like zebra color but blades are thicker:) when you get one thing you can’t have the other.

Overall very happy with the purchase.
