20 Best 3 Hole Kitchen Faucet (2022 Updated)

Beautiful faucet, easy to install but. every time you turn it on you hear this water hammer effect where water hits the inner workings. Utter garbage!! I read somewhere else where a owner complained of a “noise”.

I had no idea how annoying it would be. Yes, Kohler, you fouled up on this; you should terminate the engineer and the management that approved this design. This noise annoys me enought that I will remove the faucet, throw it away and replace it with another brand.

Total waste of money and time. How in the world some clown engineer and management thought it would be OK for users to hear this water hammer EVERY time they turn on the faucet is beyond me. Absolutely do not recommend buying this faucet.

We bought this Forté Kitchen faucet to go with our remodeled kitchen 13 years ago and the beautifully graceful curve of the spout is timeless. I looked at countless catalogs and websites to find a tall spout that was appealing, artistic, and professional looking without being too industrial.

there are hundreds of faucets with tall spouts to allow large pot filling, but none had the classic curvature of the Forté line. after 13 years of daily use by my family of foodies and one professional chef, we still love this faucet.

Only recently have we had any issues with this faucet, and a call to Kohler’s Customer Service line identified the problem and ordered a replacement part to be sent out at no cost to me. When I mentioned that the side spray was not as powerful as the first 10 years of use, Laura also included a new side spray nozzle to replace the aging one.

I do not know of another faucet manufacturer that warranties their side spray nozzles, as they usually need to be replaced every 5-7 years. I would highly recommend any of the Forté faucets to anyone looking for a beautiful artistic fixture that will last as long as your home.

The only thing good about this faucet is it’s looks. Other than that, it was a waste of time installing. As a couple of other people stated, there is a loud water hammer, clunking noise when turning on the faucet, especially after using the spray.

Lowering the supply line pressure made no difference at all. Very disappointed.

Purchased this faucet as part of a kitchen remodel, installed in July of 2016. By Nov 2017, it needed a new cartridge (leaking). In Sept 2018, yet another new cartridge had to be installed. In May 2021, new cartridge AGAIN!! And EVERY repair has been done by a licensed plumber! Now, here we are at the end of Dec 2021, and the darn thing is leaking multiple places; it needs another cartridge replacement, a new nut for under the handle, AND a new hose for the pull-down sprayhead.

It’s time for a new faucet!! This one is a real lemon! I’ve spent more money having it repaired than an expensive new faucet would cost, even with Kohler sending me the replacement parts for free! Just for the record, only two of us have lived in this house since long before this faucet was installed, so the wearing out of parts has nothing to do with over-use nor with mis-use; we are 70 years old and had our previous faucet for 25 years (and our two kids lived here during much of that time), with only ONE repair ever.

This is a PSA. I have bought numerous Kohler products over the years and I have always been very happy with the quality. I recently bought the Kohler Simplice for my kitchen renovation. Upon taking it out of the box (from which, strangely, the Kohler sticker had half peeled off), the faucet felt cheap and light.

I weighed the faucet and it came in at 3. 5 pounds. I called customer service and they informed me the product should weigh approximately 7 pounds. Although I had purchased directly from the Kohler website, I clearly got a fake faucet.

Kohler customer service was excellent, sent me a return label and refunded my money immediately. But please, check your products when they arrive and if something seems off, call Kohler right away. The 1 star rating is only because I didn’t expect that Kohler would have such poor quality control at its own warehouses.

To be fair, customer service was excellent.

I had one of these installed in July 2021. From the first moment it was frustrating not to be able to control the flow speed of the water stream – it takes two hands to adjust the little handle to get a low flow, which is usually not quite enough, and then the only other easily-obtainable flow is the jet-stream speed, splashing all over the back splash, me, the countertop and the floor.

The angle of the spout is off by just a few degrees and exacerbates the jet stream flow by shooting it at an angle of refraction at everything in the sink, resulting in explosive splashing and messes on me, the backsplash, the counter, the floor, and jettisoning bits of food everywhere.

At first I overlooked this nasty aspect of clean-up because it looked so much better than the small 90s faucet it replaced. But looks aren’t everything. After months of jet stream speed water at a weird angle that cannot be controlled, the thrill is gone.

Beware.

I purchased a Kohler Forte faucet a few years ago when we remodeled our kitchen (Kohler P/N 10433-BV). We’ve been reasonably satisfied with the function of the faucet but have had problems with broken buttons when toggling between steady stream and spray functions on the pull-out, hand-held spray unit.

In the past, I’ve had to purchase replacement buttons from Kohler from time to time which, although a little annoying, was a workable solution. Just broke the right hand button (again) and learned a replacement part is now obsolete.

Interestingly enough, the left hand button is still available but not able to be used on the right hand side! Not only that but the entire hand-held spray kit is obsolete in the bronze color that I originally purchased! Now what am I supposed to do, Kohler?.

This has been the perfect kitchen faucet for us. We chose it 16 years ago during a kitchen remodel. We have had good water flow and the plastic buttons have never broken despite heavy use by family and friends.

It did lose its range of swivel over the years, but not so much that it was a real problem, and I have been so happy with this faucet that I did not want to consider replacing it. We finally had a problem with a connection leaking and received excellent customer service from Kohler, far above and beyond what one experiences with most companies these days.

We are replacing it with the exact same faucet and hope for another 15-20 years. Kohler is my #1 choice from now on!.

I purchased this faucet from Home Depot (in black) and wrote this review there: The faucet is well made of high quality materials. It works, now that I have installed it. I have two pieces of advice for the next version of this product and others like it.

First, a small amount of silicone grease is packed with the product. Unfortunately, it appeared to have been packed in a small capsule the pieces of which were in one of the plastic bags that also contained the weight that is to be attached to the spray hose.

The capsule was no match for the weight. Consequently, the grease was smeared all over the inside of the bag and essentially unusable. Second, I advise that the engineers who designed this faucet should be personally required to install it in existing kitchen sink cabinets with double sinks, disposers and neighboring dishwashers in various configurations.

One more suggestion for the future. To reduce the likelihood of the spray hose movement being blocked by such things as a surface-mounted electrical box, change the shape of the weight so that its top and bottom are tapered.

I had to put in a board to act as a ramp for it to slide on. One other thing: I followed the advice for flushing out the tubes before attaching them to the control box, but I found that some grit entered one of the check valves and blocked water flow.

I have ordered a new check valve.

I bought this from Costco. It is a nice looking faucet that generally performs well. I appreciate that the spray button remembers its previous position. 3 downsides take away 1 star. – Installation requires plumber’s putty which is not included.

not difficult to find, but since the stuff costs about $. 50 per oz and you probably need about 1/2 oz of it, sure would be nice to have included. – The zip tie that is intended to hold the weight to the line is too small to function properly.

the weight just slides right over it. Again, a bigger zip tie isn’t expensive, but surely this could be done better. – The pictures on the site show the faucet installed with a soap dispenser. That is not included.

Background: I live in an apartment with a single handle kitchen faucet (no spray function) on which I’ve, over the years, installed different spray attachments. It broke. Needing a replacement fast, I went to the local Ace Hardware and this was the only non-spray function faucet available, at a price I could afford.

Problems: First, it is as short from front to back as it appears. The spout sits right over the drain in my sink, which is about 15 inches front to back. The spout sits about 7 inches from the back. Although this faucet does swing left to right (or vv), it doesn’t swing front to back.

IOW, unless you have a small kitchen sink, you will need to purchase some kind of spray attachment if you want to be able to reach the front of the sink and the front corners. Spray Attachment The plumber and I tried multiple adapters and washers for the spray attachment I use.

None worked. He finally found one that will work: 15/16M x 55/64F Dual Male Hose Thread 15/16-27 Male Aerator. The Lever All of the sinks in this apartment have faucets with similar levers. All the levers move left to right (and vv) which allow one to easily adjust the hot or cold water output.

This faucet’s lever moves in a circle, a very, very, very, very narrow circle. So good luck with controlling how hot or cold the water is.

Not fond of the plastic stuff underneath and the length of the water connections are and should be long enough for any application, i guess it makes it simpler for homeowners along with some plug and play connections with o-rings that do not leak yet nor do i expect them to.

I replaced a chronic Kohler leaker around swivel spout top along with rebuild kits that would last awhile but not long enough to justify the price paid. I canned it after a few years and got this one.

IMO it is one step down but so far it has not leaked and performs well all functions, not as heavy as the other faucet but does what it is supposed to do and longevity we will see but i do recommend because it is simple and functions well.

They dont sell this model anymore and they dont sell replacement parts for the sprayer attachment to the sink. I believe that is because it is impossible to tighten it even when it is not attached to the sink.

I ended up having to buy another sprayer to find an attachment that would work to attach the sprayer holder to the sink and a new sprayer holder. There wasnt any problem with the faucet itself. So, if you dont want the sprayer it is a good value, Or if the price is low enough to make it worthwhile to spend another 25 to get the sprayer in there go for it.

I was excited to get a touch on faucet in my kitchen. But this faucet has been extremely frustrating and a huge disappointment. Have worked with Grohe customer service and he was a big help but still frustrated.

Parts had to be replaced right after install. The faucet splashes all over even at a low flow. There is NO WAY to adjust the rate of flow for the touch on and that rate of flow splashes when you put your hands under the flow and low into the sink.

The touch on is active on the whole faucet so when you try to wipe up the splashed water all over the sink and countertop just a quick tap with a damp towel will turn the faucet on and get water all over your hand and arm (and watch).

So frustrating. I could go on and on. I paid almost $500 for one of the top plumbing companies in my area to do the install. The instructions are not in English or really words, just pictures. Plumber didn’t even get the install done correctly after 2 hours.

If I’d not paid a significant amount of money to get this faucet installed, I would return it. Do not purchase this faucet.

I like Grohe, and loved my ladylux purchased 13 years ago. Unfortunately that faucet leaked and damaged our wood floor. And despite replacing many parts supplied by Grohe we could not fix the issue and had to replace the whole faucet.

The new faucet does not include the metal flexible hose and spring system that the former had. The weight system on the new model prevents the hose from being pulled out as much as I could before. This is a problem if you have a large kitchen sink.

The Faucet functions fine except within a year the toggle switch between spray and stream malfunctioned. I am waiting for a replacement and Grohe customer service has been helpful. Unfortunately The first replacement parts sent were for my past model and I need to call back for other replacement parts.

They are being sent but Grohe informed me that I could not mail back the unused replacement parts they originally sent me due to Covid. Huh??? This policy amounts to a complete waste of resources and is very disappointing.

I have been a huge fan of the GROHE Ladylux series for over 10 years, and I have become a kitchen faucet-snob because of their great design. The major thing I liked about the GROHE Ladylux was that they had a design for the pull-out spray head that used a spring mechanism giving you a smooth, silky experience when you pulled the spray hose in and out; where Grohe’s competitors used a clunky weight-system that had to be installed on the spray hose below the sink that gave a mechanical, gravity-fed experience.

In my opinion, the weight added on the spray hose is horrible, cheap-feeling, and gets caught on everything below the kitchen sink. GROHE, in my opinion had the best design (I want to emphasize the word ‘had’).

HOWEVER, to my great surprise and disappointment, I recently helped a colleague design their kitchen and we purchased the new model of the GROHE Ladylux and they changed the design to the clunky weight.

What a disappointment GROHE! You’re better than that!!! The faucet looks the same. however, you have to live with a mechanical feeling of a weight hanging on your spray hose that does not pull out, or retract the same way.

While GROHE has a certain look. they cheapened the design. I have dealt with GROHE for many years, and they completely stand by their products. I have been sent many replacement heads on my old Ladylux where the finish peeled off, so I can’t knock the company as they give great customer service and really stand behind their products.

The quality of their products are very nice. I therefore reduced this product down 3 stars to “Average” simply for the change in design. however, I would recommend this product if you are willing to live with having a weight installed below your kitchen sink.

Having a nice heavy pack of bird food that can easily be held with a very well made handle, this was great food for two birds to enjoy every day with fresh enough nuts for the next two months at least.

Both birds especially love the nuts which never have bugs like some other bags have. I never have to buy any other seeds, either, and only add in garden fruit and vegetables, which make the combination perfect.

One bird is now 18 years old, and still happily eats many of the various items in the huge bag and the other bird, who is 11 loves the red item, which is probably spicy to humans, although I honestly don’t know what it is called.

I’d be hoping to have this Kaytee Forti-Diet Pro as long as this item exists, and the bird food can be kept in the freezer, in case the flavor, which is very pleasant, remains in smaller sized boxes.

Kingston Brass makes a very nice quality faucet at a reasonable price. And Wayfair has the best prices on these faucets. I have one in my bathroom (I wish I had known about Wayfair when I ordered it last year!).

My contractor installed the new kitchen faucet today and I could not be happier. It really dresses up an ordinary stainless sink. And fits perfectly with my antique/country kitchen decor. The elevated faucet compensates for a medium depth sink so that is an added plus.

The sprayer is heavy duty as the rest of the fixture. I definitely recommend this faucet to anyone who wants an expensive-looking, reasonably-priced product that functions well.

The intstall went well. We purchased a few additonal parts and hoses because the hoses provided were short. I chose this faucet for my new farm house sink. The swivel on the spout is very useful so you can move big pots in & out of the sink with ease.

The allen wrench provided for small handles didn’t work so we used our own. The sprayer works great. It’s not as heavy as the fixtures & much nicer than the plastic option in another package from Kingston.

The fixtures are heavy and made well. We just installed it so I am hoping we have a leak-free-expereince. I am rating this item with four stars.

This faucet is absolutely stunning! Great quality for the price. Comes with 2 different spray heads and you have the option to have it mounted with a deck plate or not. It’s a lot larger in person, so if you are looking for a showstopper to accompany your sink, this is the one!.

Love it, I wasn’t paying attention when I ordered it, it does not come with a matching drain. Make sure you order one.

Purchased this Pioneer Faucet a few months ago. When my plumber saw the brand he mention I might have issues getting parts. As he had never heard of the brand. Fast forward, hot water is leaking around handle already and the sprayer does not have any pressure.

My previous faucet lasted for over 30 years and has gone to a new home to be re-used. I was excited to purchase a new faucet after 30+ years. But now it needs to be repaired or replaced after a few months.

Very disappointing.

This is an attractive faucet. However, for my preference, I wish the reach of the faucet would extend more towards the center of the kitchen sink by just a couple more inches. Also, the sprayer is nice and works fine, but adds a few drips on the countertop after it is replaced in the holder, even after you hold it over the sink after use.

Overall, it is well make, but just needs a few tweaks.

This faucet was an excellent choice! It arrived before scheduled and the quality and color was exactly as they described it. It looks amazing in my kitchen. I fully recommend this faucet.

The Bellera K-560-CP pull down faucet will cause many consumers needless repair cost, unless this product is recalled. I purchased this faucet, after spending weeks of research, but not enough. This was my second faucet of this style and given the Kohler brand, expected this to be a quality product to last many years.

It was less than 6 months ago, in July, when my new faucet was installed. I think it was 3 or 4 months before I noticed we were getting low hot water flow. Then one day, we had a total lost of pressure- when the lever was in the hot water position.

We checked under the cabinet and noticed the metal connection between the hose and end would be extremely hot to touch. I also felt a little water drip at the washer end at the hose which allows the swivel.

Becoming increasingly frustated with the lack of hot water and concerned with the water leakage; I had no choice but to hire the professional installer to come out again. Based on his analysis the water supply and flow is as it should be and it has to a faulty faucet.

I didn’t know what to do then, but now its the middle winter and I’m rinsing dishes in cold water with arthritic hands. My situation requires immediate action. I decided to search a consumer blog for answers and solutions.

But instead, product reviews revealed that these are common complaints. I’ve had nothing but problems, inconvenience, and expense since installing this faucet 6 months ago. I’m NOT going to make the same mistake twice.

I will not pay a plumber to repair or replace this Bellera kitchen faucet. I’m not sure if I can put my trust in another Kohler product.

I’ve owns this faucet since 2016 and it’s been a problem since a month after Installation. It leakswhere the hose connects to the spray head, ok no problem it’s only when it’s on and it doesn’t affect the function.

Then the buttons on the head stopped working, so much for the sweep spray! Now a few years in the hose is leaking everywhere. And of course you can’t just buy one off the shelf at the home centers! I would expect better quality from Kohler, especially for the cost! I don’t know if I’d waste the money on kohler again.

At least with the cheaper brands I’d expect the problems.

The faucet works fine with me and I enjoy using it now everyday. The touches sensor works great. It takes quiet effort to install the faucet. Initially, right after installation. There is no water when I turn it on, even the LED is off but the power is connected.

I finally find out that the tightness of the two screws which is used to hold the faucet to the countertop can make the faucet not working. After adjust the tightness of them the faucet is working perfectly now.

Not sure why?.

This is a high quality faucet. The antique brass color was a good fit for my kitchen. The water pressure is good. I’m happy I selected it.
