20 Best 3 Quart Slow Cooker (2022 Updated)

This has been a long time coming. I have always meant to get one and never have until now. i did not know what I was missing. it is so great to just put everything in the pot and walk away until it is done.

i have done roast, stew, and chicken and dumplings. I am sure the list is endless. That is what makes this so fun. This is so easy to set up, not difficult at all. It does all the work. And cleans as fast as you would a cereal bowl.

I am really enjoying this.

I have used this to make everything from oatmeal to soup to lasagna and it has functioned flawlessly. The cooking times and heat ranges are good. I do wish that I could program the cooker to start on high, then switch to low or simmer.

The current design requires you to manually change the temperature at the correct time. I find the simmer heat setting useful.

I wanted a small slow cooker because I now live alone and my 6 quart pot is just too big. I love the size and features of this slow cooker, especially the timer and high/low settings. Others had said the small cookers don’t have that so I was pleased to see they were wrong.

I was also looking forward to slow cooker recipes that would be included. I am rather disappointed here, since many of the recipes are still for 6-8 servings! There are some for 4-6 servings, but that is still a lot.

I am not sure if I can cut these larger recipes in half and still have them work in the cooker.

This is the cutest, little slow cooker! It can be used for many things. I love that it’s perfect for our family. It’s just the right size. It’s easy to use and the instructions are easy clear and easy to understand.

It can be used for dip for parties and small meals. You just get everything in there you want and turn the dial to what you want and set and go. So easy. I love that the middle comes out so it’s easy to clean and you don’t have to worry about the cord when cleaning up.

It’s just the perfect slow cooker for days that are busy and you don’t have time to cook, just throw something in and go! Perfect for small families as well. We love it! We have recommended it to our friends and family!.

This slow cooker is great for dip or small items! I love warm dip while watching football and this was perfect! 1. 5 quart capacity is perfect for just enough! The stoneware comes out and makes it easy for cleaning! Has 2 adjustable settings either high or low! Perfect for making side dishes that you just wanna toss in the slow cooker and walk away from.

Handles are cool to touch so you wont get burnt. I love making chicken noodle soup in mine as well. The possibilities are endless for this little slow cooker!.

I got this slow cooker in the 1. 5 quart size complimentary in exchange for my honest review. First off, this is such an adorable little slow cooker! I’ve used it twice since receiving it and it works like a champ.

I am a huge slow cooker fan and I am so happy that now I can cook two different slow cooker dishes for dinner at the same time. This is definitely going to come in handy with the holidays approaching.

This slow cooker is the perfect size for a side dish or a meal for 2. I was able to make the perfect size batch of chili for my husband and I. I think I may get another one of these so I can cook three different dishes at the same time, that’s how much I love it.

I am 57 and have raised a family using only the “Dutch oven” included in various pots and pan sets purchased over the years. This was my first actual “Real” Dutch Oven made from cast iron with an enameled interior.

OMG what a difference in how it cooks! I’ve only used it once so far- but it cooked my dish more quickly and evenly than I could have imagined. There is No comparison to cooking with an aluminum pot! The clean-up is easy.

It’s heavy of course because it’s cast iron, but I wish I’d invested in such long ago. It’s also beautiful. I can’t make any claims to its longevity since mine is new. It’s a bit concerning there is a rough edge vs smooth finish at the top edge where the inside enamel meets the cast iron.

Time will tell. Of course cast iron pots such as this need to be hand washed.

I can’t recommend this product for durability. We had it on our registry because I thought I could make do with a Dutch oven that was not so expensive. These Dutch ovens come in attractive colors, particularly the teal which I have.

However, the teal is too easily chipping off the top edge of the pot and the handle, The enamel is not chipped, and we have been using for 5 months, but for the outer coloring to be wearing out so quickly, means it won’t look nice for too long.

For the price, the weight and ability of this pot to cook on the stove or in the oven, is really great. But I would say, for wedding registry, register for Le Creuset. You’re only getting married once.

Only received this a week ago, and luckily it arrived with no shipping dents or chips. Already, this reluctant cook has made chicken enchilada soup and French onion soup. Today: no-knead bread. The two soups turned out truly great, with a minimum of work.

Who knew cooking could actually be fun? The blue finish is quite lovely. It is fantastically heavy, but that’s part of what makes it work like a miracle. I’m very happy I took the chance and sprung for this miraculous little addition to my (previously) non-cook’s kitchen.

UPDATE. crockpot does not get hot enough to cook food. put a recipe into the pot yesterday and after 3 hours on high it only got up to 140 degrees. So I have a lovely bread warmer I guess. Nice looking crockpot.

LOVE the removable crock so much easier to clean.

I needed a smaller crockpot saying I was cooking for only one now this seems to be the best purchase I could’ve ever made I love this crockpot

I love my new crock pot. Its great to be able to take out inside pot for easy cleaning. Color is great and goes with my copper cookware.

The Crockpot 2Qt Manual Slow Cooker is amazing! To start the size is absolutely perfect for storage. Since I’ve had the crockpot I’ve made so many sauces and dips. This crockpot has saved me time and cleaning.

As I’m making dinner and I need a sauce for it I just throw the ingredients for the sauce in the crockpot and start making everything else I need for dinner. It heats everything up evenly and keeps it warm for when im ready for it.

I’ve started making all kinds of new things that my family have really enjoyed and saved so much time not having to use multiple pots. It’s so easy to clean and nothing sticks to it. When the kids stay the night somewhere and it’s just me and my husband I can easily throw some ingredients in it and make us a quick easy meal for the night.

I would highly recommend this crockpot. I’ve already bought 2 more to give as presents this Christmas.

I bought this crockpot last week and have already used it twice, love it! Unfortunately I dropped it while cleaning it with soapy hands and busted the stoneware too far to be repaired. I don’t want to waste the lid and heating element piece by throwing the whole thing away, but it’s pretty useless without the crock.

Is there anywhere I can get a replacement part? I checked the linked replacement part page and the model number was not found, but a search of that same number in a Google search brought up the product I bought.

Please help!.

Don’t let this small little crockpot turn you away. Even small this little one is mighty! I chose the small option to test the waters if i would like using a crock pot. I live just with my boyfriend and we always have leftovers with using this crockpot! The temperatures are adjustable and seem to be spot on! The possibilities are endless! If you’re unsure if you would like crockpot cooking, i suggest getting this smaller quart one to test it out first! you’ll be amazed.

Can you really put a price on Happiness? Can one TRULY rate an appliance that’s the equivalent of cooking with the Holy Spirit? Yea, me either. To those of you monsters who do not own such magical gift of cooking glory, may your eye never stop twitching.

I’ve purchased two of these in the past two years. At first they are wonderful and make a ton of food. After about 10-15 uses, the coating comes off completely. We only use soft sponges while hand washing and nonstick spray with no silicone (just oil spray) before cooking.

The first slow cooker, the coating inside left a lot of white spots after washing (w blue dawn) and drying. Food started to stick bad due to the coating coming off. We threw that one away and bought another.

after two months, it had the same issue. Will not buy a third. Wish they made the disposable bags for a 10quart, but haven’t found any so far.

I purchased this manual slow cooker due to my disappointment with a programmable one that I had purchased from Amazon. This 8 quart Hamilton Beach unit did well until while putting away, the lid slipped and fell less than a foot into the cooker and shattered everywhere.

To replace the lid costs almost as much as a new purchase. Hamilton Beach offered me free shipping to be used in purchasing their expensive lid after I corresponded several times with them. I was requesting a decent price for a lid replacement, but they would not budge.

Now I will have to dispose of the base of this unit and pick out a different manufacturer as I am not buying from Hamilton Beach.

This thing has been in the family for ages, it doesn’t matter what you cook, the results are incredible. Always the go to for meals like butter chicken and pot roast. This thing retails for like 25 bucks and it is the best thing you can get in life for that price.

As a professional cook, ,I can honestly say that you do not need a super fancy crock pot with the bells and whistles. You need a basic knowledge of how to season your food and patience. The longer this thing goes the better the results.

If this immortal best of an appliance ever decides to kick the bucket, I will buy this same model again.

Basic Crockpot with good size pot to hold enough for family of 4. Love to make stews or curries in mine and slow cook joints of meat or a chicken. I use liners inside to make it easier to clean, although it isn’t particularly hard to clean the pot if not using the liners.

Great that you can pop all the ingredients in and leave it to cook all day long. Very useful kitchen appliance and I probably don’t use it enough.

This slow cooker is so convenient! I always cook my lentils in this. You can adjust the heat between low and high and the love the transparent lid that lets me check easily. Just wished there was a little more digital options that would let me adjust the heat and check the cook time.

Even a blinking light would be helpful to let me know if it’s still on or not.

Your wonderfully standard crock pot. This has been standard in my home my entire life. I really need to upgrade to one with the bells and whistles. This particular one I got on super sale at Target for like $10 bucks and worth every penny.

Would definitely buy again but will most likely upgrade.

I made beef pot roast. This slow cooker doesn’t have a light to indicate that it is off or on. The dial is had markings to indicate off l, low, high and off. Thing is, the line on the dial doesn’t point at the right spot when setting the temperature.

I changed the setting from low to high midway through cooking and after 2 hours I saw that it had stopped cooking. I toggled the dial again and it set to a spot slightly past the dot. Overall I am satisfied but the temperature setting gives me some anxiety.

The only way you will know if it is working or not is if the lid is cool and there’s condensation under the lid.

I LOVE using this unit to keep cooked food warm for buffets. I put the stuffing, mashed potatoes, and vegetable in it; I put my sliced turkey in my big crock pot, and I put my gravy in my 40-year-old 1-quart crock pot.

It’s a lot easier than wrestling with Sterno and steam pans. I actually ordered this unit from another source and the unit arrived damaged (the pots and lids were okay). I was told to just keep it, so I did, and ordered a replacement from BBB.

Now I have an extra set of three crock pots from the previous unit, so I can fill them with food and keep them warm in a low oven, and swap them out when I need to. (I wouldn’t put the lids in the oven, however; just cover the crocks with foil.

I bought this item 4 yrs ago, it has served us well. I mainly got it for myself, Football partys ,weekend leftovers. My wife liked it so much she took it over. Makes meal planning easier, less time preparing and less time in kitchen.

Just received buffet. All I can say is how much I love it. It does take time to heat up but once it does it amazing how hot it keeps my food. My best purchase yet. I do wish the cord was longer but I understand the safety precautions if you have small children.

This is must have if you want the ability to cook with it or just keep your savory dishes and sides hot. Love, love this item.

I bought this item for my aunt who is 90 years young and still lives on her own. She hates to cook small portions for just herself and hates leftovers. This mini slow cooker is perfect for her. She was so happy when I surprised her with it.

she is now ready to start cooking again.

This is a perfect size crock pot for us as a retired couple. It’s perfect for the amount of food we want to prepare such as baked potato or hot soups on cold days. It doesn’t take much room or juice like the larger crock pots and its perfect for our retired needs.

Nice quality unit. I truly appreciate the fact that each controller has a pilot lamp to indicate if the unit is on or off. I purchased one for myself and one for a gift. A great unit to host parties.

I saw this at a family member’s house over Thanksgiving. I had to get one! So much nicer than serving from foil pans or individual chafing warmers! The color is amazing! The food stays warm and you can keep 3 dishes warm at one time! I LOVE IT!.

I bought this to replace an oblong triple slow cooker (I do a lot of entertaining) and am thrilled! It takes up less space than the oblong cooker and looks much prettier on the buffet and the ‘pots’ are just the right size.

The picture gives the Illusion that the bowls are bigger then they really are! I thought they were three quarts and they really are 1. 5 Quart!Thats what I mean about it looking bigger then it Actually is it gives the illusion that the balls are huge when they really werentactually is it gives the illusion that the bowls are huge when they really werent because I bought it for my daughter to make the ham in and it turns out the bowls were so small that she had to make the ham in the same quart that she made it last year and I bought it for her to make the ham in not to make the beans the rice can do layers and the P in the bed in the beans so it be nice if this one had a 3 quart or even a 4 quart bowl and set up for 1.

5 for the amount of money I paid for it should have a big bowl in it.

What I hope is this very clever 3 pot slow cooker will be good for breakfast. Imagine an egg casserole in one,maybe a cheese sauce and of course potatoes. It a fruit compote. What I loved is consider how many foods we eat in combination.

like Mexican you have one pot for the meat garlic peppers 2nd pot for beans 3rd pot for mexican rice perhaps. Or a hot picture. Toss together a salad some tortilla and wa-la a feast.

Used it for beans,rice and carne asada ti keep warm during a buffet style party. Worked like a charm. Easy clean up as they are not regular size pots. So 3 fit in dishwasher perfectly with 3 lids.

It’s so easy to use. Throw whatever your making in the pot and it’s good to go. Made stuffed flank steak took 9 hours meat was so tender. I would never leave it on if I’m not home I don’t think that would be a safe thing.

It’s Very Nice And The Only Reason I Returned It Was I Thought It Had A Delayed Timer Start and Iy Does Not.

Design is nice, but handles are plastic and not metal / chrome – concerned the paint will peal/ silver paint will wear off – did not seem to be made of good quality- lightweight – tipped easily – unfortunately I returned it.

Have only used this once so far, but I’m impressed. Sautéd the onions first on the hob using the internal pan – worked well. I made a tasty veggie stew. It’s probably best to read up on recipes because it’s not quite the same as cooking in a conventional oven – you need far less liquid for instance.

But I’ll be using this lots – especially with energy bills soaring. It’s far cheaper to use than an oven.

I’m reviewing this finally after owning it for a year and a half. It’s a well made slow cooker that I use roughly once a week. It’s simple to set and provides a solid performance. It does cook hotter than my previous slow cooker since the inner pot is ceramic coated aluminium as opposed to my old ceramic pot.

I’ve had to adjust cooking times downwards by an hour in some cases. The ability to saute meat and vegetables first is great and vastly improves the outcome. The reason I left a star off is the awkward shape.

The diameter at the base of the inner-pot is rather small and it can be challenging to saute food properly. The smallness of the base and the high sides means that you can end up sweating vegetables rather than sauteing them.

If they made this slow cooker with a wider or oval shaped inner pot it would be more versatile for pre-sauteing.

I bought this Crock Pot Slow Cooker to replace an old one-piece slow cooker that was a struggle to wash and keep clean due to it’s bulk and the need to keep the electrical end away from water. The new Crock Pot has the same volume, but the ceramic pot is removable for cleaning, a far better idea.

It is oval, so there is a tendency for contents in the narrow ends of the oval to cook a little faster. This is easily resolved by using one of the 3 provided black plastic scoop tools to move what is in the ends toward the centre after a few hours.

removing any thickened sauce from the narrow part of the oval wall. I used a Schwartz Chicken Provencal packet mix, which is very easy to use and the result is an excellent full flavoured dish. Well worth buying at this low price from Currys and a very smart addition to our kitchen.

I would not recommend this product. Found it unsafe and felt it to be a possible fire hazard. My counter top got very hot after only 1 hour use on low as well as the outer shell. There is no rubber seal on the lid so when I went to move the crockpot I was splashed with not liquid.

It also shut off on me twice within 4 1/2 hours. Glad I was home to monitor. DEFINITELY RETURNING!!!.

This is my first ever crockpot and it’s definitely been a life saver on some days when I don’t want to cook after work. I love having 3 options when it comes to size, however, I’ve found that it cooks extremely hot.

When I follow times and temps for recipes, my meals turn out nearly scorched if I don’t keep an eye on it. In fact, I tried making overnight oatmeal and it burnt so badly to the sides, there are still charred bits that my husband can’t even scrape off.

I probably wouldn’t choose this model again in the future, but having the 3 crocks is worth it for now, and in the meantime will cook food at less time than the recipe calls for.

This is not my 1st crockpot & I do use a crock pot at least 1x per week. Right now the jury is still out on whether to keep or return this as there are things I like & things that I don’t like. Got this to replace my old crock pot & although I know no 2 crock pots are the same, & all cooking times are estimates, this is cooking everything waaay too fast & I’ve only been using the low setting.

Curious to see what happens when I use the high setting! I have only been using the 6qt liner, maybe the 4qt liner will cook differently? Love being able to program the time up to 20hrs in 30 min increments for both the high & low setting.

That should be standard on all crock pots & is definitely a feature worth spending a little more for! I do like having the choice of liners, BUT all 3 liners are the heavy ceramic liners & it makes the whole thing super heavy when all are stacked together.

It is also much too tall to fit in my cupboard so I have to keep it on my pantry floor. So not sure if this is easier or more convenient than having 2 separate crockpots (6qt & 4qt) that fit in my cupboard & I can easily lift & move.

Also, when you’re not using the other liners, they have to be lifted out & moved each time you’re using the crockpot. I worry about them getting damaged & the inside of each liner getting scratched as they are stacked inside each other.

As others have stated, you can’t flip the cover upside down for more compact storage bcs the 2. 5Qt insert is split in the center & the handle on the cover hits it when flipped upside down. So that’s a bit of a bummer too & impacts storage.

Not really sure what I would do with the 2. 5 qt or that it would get a lot of use. I think it would be much more useful if it weren’t split. Also, I have noticed that when I wash the cover water gets trapped under the handle (between the handle & the top of the cover).

I have tried loosening it a little so water can get out but that hasn’t worked well. Be careful to not loosen the screw in the handle all the way as it is a total pain to get the screw & the thread lined up & get the screw back in.

All in all, I think I will be returning this & get 2 separate programmable units in the 6qt & 4qt sizes.

I have a bigger 5 qt round crock pot, but it’s rather heavy for me to handle. I will keep it for bigger batches of food, but I looked for a nice oval medium sized crock pot for a long time, and finally found this one.

It was a little bit more money, but includes a keep warm setting. It’s a lot easier for me to handle than my bigger model, and fits better in the dishwasher. The only problem I’ve found with this new model, is that it takes longer to cook on the high setting.

That’s not a major issue for me, and the food does taste really good when it’s done cooking, so I would recommend it, and would get it, or another medium sized model if it should ever break.

I love these little appliances that make just enough for a day or two. Big slow cookers always make so much you are sick of it before you can finish it.
