17 Best 3 Socket Armor D2 (2022 Updated)

Recently I grabbed both this and the 1/4 set. This set is really nicely made with clearly marked sockets and a very smoothly operating ratchet. The finish and manufacturing quality of all the pieces is exceptional as well.

So far I’ve also used these with the Milwaukee M12 Fuel ratchet and popping off and swapping things between it and the manual ratchet was definitely made nicer by being able to set things down and not have them roll around thanks to the square sided shape of the sockets.

One of the great things about this set is the case. Adam Savage’s YT channel actually turned me on to these. The case is not your typical junky blow molded thing. It’s got proper hinges, sliding latches, and a removable tray so you can place the set in a drawer and keep it organized if you want.

On top of that, there’s enough spare room in the case that I can keep a 1/4″ drive adapter for my impact driver.

I have had this set for quite a awhile but I finally got to put them to the test and they performed flawlessly. Everything worked as advertised and the fine tooth ratchet was a joy to use in tight spaces.

This set is durable and is of the highest quality and I would not hesitate to recommend to others. It’s a complete set that will do 90 percent of the work one would typically need to do and the squared off sockets are so intuitive! I can rest assured they’re not going to roll away from me if I have to switch sockets on the fly, and having the assurance that I can add a bit more leverage by using a wrench over the squared off area is just another bonus! I will be buying more of these in different sizes especially those packaged in the PACKOUT containers! Keep it up Milwaukee you have a winner!.

Retiring a vintage set of Craftsman sockets so needed replacements. I marvel over the quality of these Milwaukee tools! Wishing I had made the switch earlier. Very well made and these sockets don’t roll underneath the middle of the car EVERY SINGLE TIME I drop one!.

Great product. Feels sturdy.. The twist lock can get stuck at times but hopefully after time it will loosen up and twist and locker better.

Lock mechanism is tight when new but once broken in works nice and smooth I have many of these trays in all sizes and they do a good job

Not as good as the Reed but didn’t spend as much as the reed one. Works fine as long as you keep it straight and don’t go too far. I do wish the shank was 7/16″ so it would work with milwaukee’s quick-lok.

Well worth the price! I bought the 3″. You do not need to salvage too many 3″ fittings to get your money back. In my case, doing some renovations, I did not have space for extra fittings and I needed to utilize a fitting in place.

These look very similar to the ones I bought at my plumbing supply house but the small difference in quality of metal and craftsmanship makes a big difference

When I bought this I believed it would only be used for light torque but after holding it, it seems very well built. The pins move freely for a snug fit on nuts and bolts. And the torque limit is way higher than I originally thought! Great item for the in-house toolbox that needs to be small and tucked away! Highly recommended for this job.

I won’t use this for high torque applications such as your car but other than that this item is gold!.

Will get you out of a pinch when you come across a tri-groove security nut or other odd design. Easy to carry if you need to keep it lite. Don’t use on painted hardware (wet or dry) or you’ll be cleaning and unclogging it.

Keep it bathed in WD40 and don’t put to much force on it. I’ve had mine for years, and finally got this one for a friend.

It helped me a lot when it came to removal of the thermostat in my car; behind the brake rotors/calipers And generally anywhere i cannot place the wrench/socket linear with the bolt. Still recently purchased but will update when more time passes.

So far pleased.

I needed a 3/4 drive (32 mm) socket for a specific job I was doing and this one fit the build. All good!!

I realized while putting together my US General roll cart and wrenching on removing/rebuilding transmissions, I needed some adapters to get into some odd spaces. This set is pretty good as they are not too big or small.

They feel solid like my snap-on. Time will tell. They come in a nice tray which you can lay down in your cart. Why I didn’t give it 5 stars: I think the package for the tray could be made smaller since most tool carts are crammed.

I had to go to 2 different harbor freights to find it. Also, the coupon I had which said ALL sockets (including Quinn, ICON and Pitts) were part of the 20% off and the manager had to adjust the price manually.

I’m a professional light duty diesel mechanic. These impact rated adapters take everything I throw at them. Very impressed.

Planning a fireplace in our new addition, I purchased this book for mantel ideas. The book includes a nice history on the subject with photographs or drawings, as well as how-to putting a mantel together.

Small book, but filled with a lot of helpful information.

Seem like this was raised around 10mm sockets as my original grew legs and left me. Found a new one on eBay when my local Depot doesn’t stock single Milwaukie sockets. This Socket set is the best I have encountered for small impact tools.

The perfect drive star socket bit set for any toolbox. The set comes with nine star bits. They are all different sizes and perfect for any project. They came in a clear case that is perfect to keep them organized and great for easy find.

They fit our socket ratchet perfectly and were of great help to my husband while he tightening the band on my treadmill. Having different size options in one set was awesome as he had all he died. Overall they are well made, and you get plenty of sizes.

Also it is perfect that they come in a case to keep them organized and all together. Great set to add to your toolbox.

I would be careful when purchasing this set although the price is attractive… If you’re using this for automotive screws. Buyer beware torx broke off when torquing a screw. It might work for small jobs just be careful not forced steel.

Now I have to try to take out the broke. Piece on my rotor screw.

So many we work on these days use star bits. This Hyper Tough 9-piece 3/8-inch star driver socket bit set really does cover the spectrum of needs. Packaged in a self contained case they are easy to store and quick to access.

In the short time I have used them, they seem very well made and should give years of service. Placing the on a 3/8 inch socket gives one the mechanical advantage to securely snug down, or break loose a stubborn screw.

You do need a pair of cutters to remove the 2 small buttons holding the green bottom to the black upper, look at the bottom of the green holder to see the cut with cutters symbol.

Die Schrauben lieen sich super lsen, man sollte nur darauf achten das man gerade ansetzt. Man spart sich auf jeden Fall Zeit, nerven und den ein oder andere Bohrer.

As usual Sealey Premier Tools are fantastic and the lifetime warranty is comprehensive. This mixed Metric/Imperial set is very useful as I work on some US and older UK equipment. The box is steel and pretty robust but the plastic interior will need more care.

All in all and excellent purchase.

If looking for a full 1/4” socket set, this is perfect. Both shallow and deep sockets for standard and metric. Socket”s high gear ratio makes for shorter turning, which is slick for tight spaces. The case is solid with secure “latches,” which ensures sockets won’t move from their spots even with rough handling when closed.

That said, I’ve seen this very set for about $80 since purchasing it myself for $100.

I am very impressed with all the thought put into the design of this socket set. The case alone is almost worth purchasing. The case is such a nice departure from the super cheap and hard to use blow mold style tool cases you get normally.

Each piece is securely held when the cover is closed and easily accessible when open. No need to snap the pieces in and out of the case. Well done Milwaukee!.

Tool truck quality at a non-tool truck price. Square sockets are great, use them with box or adjustable wrenches. I had to use mine with vise grips & a small towel (didnt want to mark up my sockets on the 1st use!), I was in a pinch & didnt have other tools.

Ratchet w/socket on one side and vise grips & socket on the other to break loose a rusted bolt & nut on a chain I ran into. Socket set worked great. Looks good & feels great in hand.

In my opinion, a great quality set – very good value for money – the sockets are well engineered and come in a handy metal tool box

I am 73” and weigh approximately 215 lbs. I ordered the large / long for the vest size. It actually is slightly too big around the sides, where the flaps meet up. They don’t quite exactly touch. It takes a while for this vest to break in and form to your body.

It comes with extra straps and an extra carrier, which is nice. Looking back I should have ordered the medium / long. Overall, the vest isn’t too heavy and works very well for me.
