20 Best 30000 Mah Power Bank (2022 Updated)

Day 2 with this thing. 1st day, it was already showing a full charge. I put my phone on it and a small external battery to test out its 2 USB ports and within 5 minutes, it was out of battery!!!!! Then, today, I put it out smack under the Arizona sun and it overheated within minutes (shows all flashing lights and won’t charge).

It’s been 4 hours since that and I’ve put it in a less hot area and it’s still showing 1 dot of charge. Not sure what happened to Goal Zero. These “new and improved” solar panels and battery packs are worse than the old ones.

And, despite already being proprietary and not being compatible with any other batteries, they changed their input/output holes so you can’t use one battery with all solar panels. For instance, my older Boulder 50 won’t charge this because there’s no way to plug it in.

What kind of greedy capitalist nonsense is that, Goal Zero! I give them ZERO stars tbh. I guess they’ve now achieved their goal!.

I have been buying Goal Zero Flips for years and needed a waterproof power bank decided. The Venture rechargers offered both a good performance, IPX7 rating, and were built solidly so I got both a 35 and 75.

Quality is really good, these are rugged, well-designed, rechargers with fast charging. At first I was sceptical about the plastic cover, thinking it might come off due to use. However, almost after a year of fairly regular use, I haven’t had any problem with it.

The only downside of the Venture 35 is that, though relatively compact, it is on the heavier side. It is a somewhat reasonable tradeoff for ruggedness. It still would nice to see a lighter and more compact Venture 25 version with 5/6000 mAh to have a more lightweight option.

Got this to replace the old Goal Zero Venture I had (the old green Venture 30), which lasted for like 7 years! I loved that Goal Zero. I got this one to replace because it finally started to not carry a charge (I still use it, but as a “splitter” to plug multiple devices in one outlet when I’m on the road and need to charge multiple things and I only have one charge port in my car).

This GZ works just as great. It’s a little heavier. I’m not sure about the big rubber Plug they have on as a protective cover. I can see that falling off eventually. But I like that all the ports are in one spot on this device as opposed to 3 different sides.

This power bank is a quality product. It is well made and feels sturdy. The design is slick and it is powerful enough to charge my Samsung Galaxy S20+ and my Kindle Paperwhite several times over. You may need different cables for both gadgets though, so bear this in mind.

The power bank can charge two devices at once, and with a push of a button you can check what power it has left on it before you need to charge it up again. It is ‘low trickle’ enabled, meaning it can charge items like ear buds etc, without over surging.

It also has a safety system so that your devices generally will not get damaged by over charging. I’d never heard of Anker before, but after reading their reviews I took the plunge and tried them out for myself.

I will happily return to them after my positive experience and can also recommend them to anyone. Also, their customer service is excellent, so if you do need any help or advice, they are very quick to reply to emails and are happy to help.

Seriously, you can’t go wrong with an Anker product. I am a one happy customer!.

I am definitely impressed with the design of this product. It is premium and solid all around. I have been looking for a wireless charger that is capable of handling all of my devices simultaneously.

So far it performs fantastically. I think it could be improved in a few ways. First, it was larger than I expected, and I wish it were slightly more compact. It is just a little too big to comfortably fit into my back.

Second, I wish that both of the charging ports were USB-c, since this is the direction that Apple is taking with all of its products. To accommodate USB-A products, an adapter could be provided or purchased.

After I upgrade to the iPhone 12, I will no longer have a need for a USB-A connection. Lastly, and this may just be a matter of learning its functionality, but the power button is triggered very easily.

I will be paying attention to see if charging mode gets accidentally activated while the Quatro is stored in my bag. So far this hasn’t happened, but every time I open up my bag I see the charge status lights turn on.

Overall, I am extremely pleased!.

Great charger! Has enough power for my iPhone 12 pro and apple watch at the same time. The built-in wireless charging is key, so you never have to remember a cord when going out. The slim, lightweight design is easy to bring this device places and doesn’t weigh down your pocket or bag.

The only nitpick I have is the power button is very sensitive and can turn on the battery without knowing.

Great charger for traveling. It charges my iPad my phone my watch and my AirPods. Wouldn’t go anywhere without if I truly love it. It is sleek and very high quality. I recommend it without a problem.

It’s the perfect size so I think this will be great for travel. It comes with the laptop power bank, USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-C to USB-A adapter and Instruction manual. It has a 20,000mAh battery pack that gives 63W output.

I like that it has multiple ports so that you can charge more than one device at a time. I was able to get a lot of use out of this power bank before having to recharge the device. The power bank also has fast charging as well which I love.

I do food deliveries and bought this portable charger to keep my phone from dying. I read the reviews online before purchasing and one person comment that they would have to alternate between the ports because her phone wasn’t charging.

Despite that review I still bought the charger and now experiencing what she mentioned. I only had this item for a week and it keeps connecting and disconnecting while charging. I tried using different cords, but still having a problem with charging.

I bought the item because of the brand name, but does not work properly. Charger is heavy and bulky and quite pricey. I will end up returning it and getting another brand to try.

I travel frequently and work remotely so this is crucial to keep up with my work day. I get multiple full charges on my iphone and airpods before having to recharge. Works great for my ipad 12 as well.

I love being able to charge multiple devices at one. My only negatives would be it takes all night & then some to charge but its worth it considering the ouput you get. Its bulky and heavy. I also did not realize until i purchased it that the usb-c port is strictly for charging the portable device only and produces no output charge.

Without sounding too flippant. It’s a charging brick. What do you want? It works perfectly. Charges with either USB, USB-C, Micro USB, or Apple’s special cord. It also has a numerical value for how much battery is left so it’s helpful to gauge how much is used to charge something fully.

For example, charging my iphone12 only takes 9/100 of the battery so I can fill my phone battery 10 times over in one charge.

Probaby one if the best powerbann at this price range. It has an awesome power output. Charging all androids superfast charging mod if they support. Also good for Nintendo switch or Steam deck. Tested for all, 100% recommended.

This is value for money and something every techie should have in his arsenal. I video alot with my phone and have it plugged in while filming.

This power bank is one of the better I’ve seen being sold. It is an excellent power source for on the go or even at home. It takes a better part of a day to charge when it is totally exhausted of power.

It can charge my laptop or even my smart phone in as little as just over an hour. The emergency light provides an excellent source of illumination if required and even has a strobe which can be used as a distress to summon help.

2nd one i have had. The 1st one i brought from Korea. Someone is very happy and borrowed it permanently. This device charges from c to c. A very fast charge.

Needed a power source for table and Square card reader for outdoor craft events. This power source has met that need by lasting all day and rigged enough for handling and weather.

2nd one we have had. This one is a little more heavy duty than the last one. But works good so far. Takes a long time to fully charge. But it seems to last quite a long time a charge a little faster than the smaller version we used to have.

So overall very satisfied.

Awesome power at a fair price. True 32,000 mAh. Don’t be fooled by power banks that claim to be 500,000 or 900,000 mAh they are not. They would weigh a lot more than you would want to carry if they were.

This will charge my Samsung Note 4 four or 5 times before it needs a recharge. This is the most power I have found for the money. Weighs a few pounds cause batteries are heavy. Works really well. I’m happy with it.

The reverse side of the huge capacity is a long charge of the PowerBank itself. Developers could provide Qualcomm Quick Charge 3. 0. The user needs to remember: to fully charge it, you need to start this process in advance.

My son tends to be connected to his mobile device more than he is connected to this world. Usually that means his battery dies fairly quickly. With this battery bank, he’s able to keep his phone charged when he needs it when he’s outside of the home.

He usually will take it with him to school so that he has adequate charging during the day and he can still keep in contact with me. When we travel he also uses it to keep his phone charged in the car.

It keeps a charge for a long time , and when it’s time To charge the bank, It can take a bout two hours to charge completely. Not too bad.

I bought this Sharper Image power bank because I always have to charge my cellphone. Whether it’s surfing the internet, paying bills online or using my GPS. Doing these things suck up my battery on my phone.

The first thing I can say about this Power bank is that is small and relatively slim. You can slide it in your shirt pocket, jacket pocket and even back pants pocket. It’s the perfect size for small purses, sling backpacks etc.

It doesn’t take too long to charge, about a couple hours or so. The only thing I don’t care for is that you can only get one good charge or a charge and a half. It’s definitely enough to get you home should your phone die on you.

I believe In having a back up to my back up’s, so this will be added my back up collection. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family.

One problem with battery packs as chargers is that you have to find a charge cable to use it. These are often already setup at various charge stations, or create a frustrating dangling cord, or wind up no longer functional when you go to use it.

This Power bank intrigued me with its built-in cables. It solved the problems of having to locate a cord, and then have something that you could trip on or looked unsightly. That is the essence of what i love about this battery pack.

Keep this somewhere handy like a purse, suitcase or car center console and you are good for on-the-go power. There are some drawbacks to this charger, however. The plus of having built-in cords can also be a negative — depending entirely on how you wish to use the battery pack.

With the cords so short, you can’t easily use a device while it charges from the battery. Drawback number 2 is probably my main complaint: no extra ports. Just one available, empty USB port would allow you to connect another, longer cord when needed.

Also, a different type of cord like a micro USB. As it is, I can charge my iPhone (Lightning) and my Fire Tablet (USB-C) but I can’t charge my bluetooth headphones (Micro-USB). Of course, longer, swappable cords get you back to having to find a longer, functioning cord, but I would like to have that option from time-to-time.

Not to mention, if one of the built-in cords were to fail for some reason, the battery pack may become useless as they don’t appear to be easily changed. So, I don’t think this can be your only battery pack charger.

It serves a great emergency purpose for most modern phones, and does that well, but lacks flexibility for other charging needs. I plan to use this on trips, where I want a simple, non messy solution for charging needs when away from a wall charger.

I will sue another battery pack, though, when I want to charge and use a device at the same time, or, charge my headphones. So, the PROS: Built-in cords are great, easily tucked away. Charging is fast, and supports my iPhone and Fire Tablet at the same time.

CONS: No expandabilty, no option to use other cords means you can only charge Lightning and USB-C Devices at very short lengths from the battery, and only as long as the built-in cords last.

I was very excited to receive this power bank and immediately upon opening it had issues as the labeling on the device itself is nearly impossible to to see so I repeatedly had to fumble with finding which side plugged into the phone and which side plugged into the charger (not included).

The power button is so sleek it is difficult to locate and use, though this has become easier over time. After using this for two weeks, my biggest issue is that the cords are so short they are difficult to plug into just any outlet.

It works wonderfully if it is plugged into an outlet that happens to be embedded in a desk, nightstand or table. That said, I really do love that the cords are included/attached to the power bank itself.

No more lost or missing cords! That is a huge win. The device itself is slim, easy to hold, and fits into any pocket or bag without weighing it down. So far, I have been able to charge my iPhone 11 Pro Max two times from each full charge of the power bank.

It takes a very short period of time to charge the phone and not much longer than that to charge the power bank. The battery level indicator lights are bright and easy to see. Overall, I have found this to be very useful and reliable, though I wish I could get three charges out of it as it will primarily be for emergency use during our typically busy hurricane season.

This power bank’s most interesting feature is the attached cables, which make this both easy to use and easy to carry. And one of the cables can be used for charging your phone (or other USB-C device) or you can use the same attached cable to charge the power bank itself.

The other cable is a lightning adapter for an Apple device. There’s also another port if you want to use your own cable. You can even use the power bank to charge 2 devices at the same time! The power bank itself is feels solid and is probably light for something that has 10,000 mAh.

I’m not sure if the soft touch feel of the case will last, but it definitely makes it less slippery. It’s not a rubberized feel, but more of a textured plastic, which is probably better. The power bank charges quickly and I was using an Apple standard 10 watt charger.

I imagine it would charge pretty fast with a higher wattage charger. The power bank says you can use a max 18 watt charger, which is a little less than many of the 20+ watt chargers out there right now, including one from Belkin, which is a little strange.

It charges my phone quickly, and seemed to hold a charge well. This is a great little all-in-one compact power bank to throw in your bag for daily use, or for emergencies or travel!.

I purchased the NB20000 to take on a long distance hike. Fast charging of the power bank is more important than anything as every 4-5 days I will stop in a trail town, buy food, hopefully find a place to charge and move on.

With a slower charge, I’d have to spend the night in a hotel at extra $$$. The NB20000 seems to fit this model perfectly. My unit however arrived defective with one carbon fiber panel falling off (definitely not waterproof!).

It’s taken many emails with the Chinese HQ that went nowhere but finally reaching out to the US based NiteCore store, they were responsive and my unit is on it’s way back for a swap for a hopefully higher quality unit.

We shall see.

I have the smaller, 10k version of this and really like it. But I needed more power so I purchased the 20k and it’s been great. It feels a little nicer than the 10k because the button press is nicer and the power readout is more clear with a few distinct LEDs that are separated from the button (on the 10k they are integrated).

The device is predictably larger and heavy, but that’s where battery technology is nowadays. I would definitely buy one again.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21, therefore what I wanted the most from a power bank was a super fast charging feature. I had to return my first one as it was only doing “fast charging” and interrupting the charging every now and then for no reason.

It was faulty, so I got another one from another JB Hi-Fi store. They organised the whole process quite nicely and easy. The power bank that I have now does “super fast charging” as it says (the only one I have found in the market so far), and it is able to charge my phone about 4 times! It is a good looking device and is not too big or heavy, however I suggest to put it in a case or something to protect it.

Very happy with this power bank. I like the percentage meter on the end rather than the side and it has a little green led to show is charging or discharging. The unit charges devices like an iPad quickly.

It is good to have two USB C ports and a USB A port. It is a moderate weight and feels substantial. It gets only slightly warm when operating. Nice well designed unit.

Efficiebt for what it is. Would be even better with 2 standard usb ports rather than just 1. Good for portable use with side usbc capability.

Goal Zero definitely dropped the ball on this one. The current design includes a charging cable which wraps around the battery pack. One end plugs into an integrated USB and the other into a Micro USB.

At first glance this seems like an efficient design. However, both connection points are excessively tight. The Micro USB connection was so tight that the connector actually broke off while attempting to disconnect the cable for use.

In short, the housing/connector design is poor, and the included cable is junk. Not my first Goal Zero purchase but will be my last if they don’t step it up.

I’ve never owned a product that will drain it’s own battery while off and sitting idle. As noted in the product pictures, the charging cable that comes with the product fits quite nice when wrapped around the charger, and plugs into the sides of the product.

This keeps everything nice and tight, but unfortunately, the product actually burns through it’s own battery when plugged in like this. I had the charger for less than 2 years when I actually noticed that the battery was dead every time I went to use it.

At first, I thought this was the fault of someone within our household, draining the battery and not recharging it. Then one day, I had it fully charged, went to go put it away, and noticed the blue lights blinking as if something was plugged into it.

Not good. Outside of that, the product still works as intended, thus the 3 stars. The warranty is only good for two years, which means that’s all the longer Goal Zero actually expects their products to last.

So all in all, I suppose the product met the expectations of Goal Zero as a company. So when it comes to using this review as a guideline as to whether or not you should purchase this. just ask yourself if you’re willing to pay whatever the going rate is, for a product that will likely last you less than two years.

If you’re good with that, I’d recommend the product. If you think it’s too expensive to replace that often, then I wouldn’t recommend it.

We bought this charger to be able to recharge our iPhones while camping, hiking, climbing and anytime we are away from a power source for extended periods of time. The Venture 30 is small enough to fit in my pocket and if required I can still jam my iPhone and charging cable in with it too.

It is light enough to not be a burden when wearing jeans or belted hiking pants but tends to weigh down shorts a bit too much to be worn without a belt. It adds practically no weight to a backpack and its small physical footprint makes it easy to fit on sills, ledges, etc while charging.

It charges my iPhone 6S very fast (less than 30 minutes for a full charge) and the built-in recharging cable for the device itself recharges the Venture 30 quite quickly too. After charging my phone fully, twice, it only took 3.

5 hours or so to recharge the charger. We took it out in the rain as well and had no concerns and no problems both manipulating the device and charging my phone in the phone’s waterproof case. The device is also very ruggedly built with rubber edges so impacts are spread and absorbed by the body without shocking and damaging it.

After a lot of research we determined that in June of 2016, this device has the biggest battery for the price and physical footprint. I can *easily* charge my iPhone 6S three times with capacity to spare.

All in all we are extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it almost without reservation. The two downsides are that the built-in cable does not support iPhone output so you need to carry an extra cable; and if you lose the built-in cable (which is very cleverly wrapped around the device and is quite secure) you would need to carry an extra micro-USB cable to be able to recharge it.

Since extra cables can be purchased from Goal Zero, the second downside is almost irrelevant (except when in the field).
