Great quality and a bargain. Perfect for using my MP3 player in the car and for connecting it to me travel speakers. Can’t review it as stylish as it is a length of wire with a jack plug at each end but for performance and value cannot fault it.

It was Ok from the beginning. It failed after 1 month of use. Doesn’t cope well with mechanical bending and twisting – which is unavoidable during the use.

The first time I plugged it in, the barrel of the female connector came loose and slipped completely off. I think the barrel is simply glued on, and the glue didn’t hold. Electrically, the wire still works, but what good is a cable you can’t handle? Materials used seem good, let down in assembly? :(.

Great product that works perfectly as an extension cord for my Sony MX3 Headphones so I can work at my desk without using battery or bluetooth unnecessarily. Will buy again.

I prefer hooking up speakers via AUX. That way, I don’t have to deal with BT’s unreliability. These were a great bargain. I didn’t expect them to last long, but in the roughly a year that I’ve been using them, then wrapping them up to store, then using them again, they’ve worked without a hitch.

Great to get electronics that do just what’s advertised and last for many uses.

I’m sending mine back to seller simply because they advertise gold plated plugs which the duel 3. 5mm patch cord they sent me were the basic metal without the plating. in a balance system I use it is essential for go old plated for a simple patch cord in an RCA or 3.

5mm patch cord or I get a slight hum. but the cord looks fine, I didn’t even try it. so if you order expecting gold plated you may not get gold. is best for any system.

Used this cable to plug into my headphone socket, when listening on my computer. The 3. 5 mm plugs at each end fit snugly into their sockets without excessive effort. Their was a definite improvement in sound quality over the cord supplied with my headphones.

After about 3 months of heavy use, I began to notice some dropout in one channel that disappeared when the cable was changed – but I think I excessively pulled on the cable a few times when moving away from my computer.

I received this product as a sample and it came in handy as I needed a new one. I used this aux cable to replace the one in my car that connects to my iPhone so I can play my music while driving. I’m really amazed and impressed how this aux didn’t give me any static or issues while connected.

The quality of the sound was so clear that I could hear the extra beats through the speakers while playing the songs loud or soft. The cord had no issues to attach from the phone to outlet on the dashboard so this was a good thing.

The length of the cord was also perfect as I was able to wrap it up and keep within a short distance around the dashboard. My old one was starting to go so this was a life saver for me. I showed it to my family and friends and they were happy that we finally got to hear our music while in the car for road trips.

I highly recommend everyone to try this brand and see how well it works. I will definitely buy another aux cord if needed because this is an excellent product.

This 6′ Braided Aux Cable provides excellent sound and durable quality. I plugged it in my car to listen to music and the connectors were a great fit as previous ones I have had tend to pop out. I have also had aux cables that were not very durable and the threads started coming out of the cord, this cord is tightly braided so that it is not easily cut or unraveled.

I love the length because it can reach to the back seat of my car so that the music can be controlled from the person sitting in the back seat if needed. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family! I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

I had this cord before I upgraded to a different brand and length in my old car. It certainly connected me to my music on my phone, but I didn’t know any different at the time. I really wanted a longer cord for the whole car to be able to use and found that sound quality could certainly be improved with a better cord.

I was volunteered to put together music for my nephew’s wedding. It was an outdoor setup under a big enclosed tent. My plan was to use my ipod with my Bose sound dock so that I may use the remote to skip songs if need be.

I had the idea to join it with my niece’s sound dock by plugging a 3. 5mm cable from the earphone jack of my ipod (while in the dock) and then plugging that into the AUX in jack on the back of her dock so I could spread them apart.

(two being better than just one?!). I just needed a long Cable. I figured 25′ cable would do the job. My internet search led me to Monoprice and I was totally shocked at the affordability of this cable.

I bought this item knowing it was a very heavy duty cable so as to run a line from my stereo to my couch for headphone listening (I live in an apartment and if I want to rock out its got to be on headphones).

Audiophile extension cables are a rip off and essentially the same thing (heavy duty cable). I use a pair of Grado SR325i and a pair of Superlux Hd 681’s. I like the thickness of the cable and I cannot appreciate any signal loss over the 20 foot cable.

However, the 3. 5 mm end of any headphone or headphone adapter seems to have a tenuous contact in the female end of the cable and causes the music to cut out when bumped. I’m not sure if this is a defective cable or if this is a design issue.

Furthermore, as this is a heavy duty cable for home use I would think it would be better served with a 6. 3 mm jack as receivers, headphone amps and high end headphones all use 6. 3mm jacks and thus have to be adapted.

Good design concept but needs better execution. PROS: Thick, quality cable, good transmission fidelity. CONS: !) female end does not keep solid contact with head phones and looses audio as a result. 2) Would be more logical to have 1/4″ (6.

We needed a cable to hook up to an older model TV and be long enough to plug into head phones on the opposite side of the room. Couldn’t find any at local stores. these were a good price, and work well.

I have used several monoprice “Built for mobile” cables. They all have been very well built, and have extra features to fit through most (but not all) protective cases. Well shielded, good value, all I need.

This one stays in the back of my computer and I can plug my earbuds into the jack for privacy, or plug an aux cord from my portable speakers into the jack.

Being an assistant instructor, I teach part of the class, usually I don’t need a cable. But I had an anxiety. what if I end up being myself handling the whole class. To remove such anxiety, I purchased this cable.

This item was inexpensive and works well. With this item in my dance bag, I go to dance hall without anxiety after our community activities are recovered from the current coronavirus situation.

The cables work great for our needs. Also in this day and age it is always a huge plus when something is in stock and we get it shipped in a timely manner!!

1st time customer at SF for a basic cable. I thought the quality was very fair for the price paid. I will return to do more business in the future. Shipping was on-time as well.

I’ve purchased many of these over time for their low price, but they seem to be far less reliable than the average 3. 5mm cable. I would say about 50% of the ones I have end up with annoying wiring problems where twisting the cable just slightly to the wrong way results in a lost signal.

(i. e. Looses one channel or turns to mono. ) I’ve also purchased a 12 ft cable of the same kind and it underwent the same problem and is no longer usable. The cables aren’t used in a perfect environment where they never undergo any stress at all, but I do not abuse them and I wrap them up properly (i.

e. the same way they are wrapped from the factory) when they are not in use. I would not recommend these cables (or any of the “basic” cables listed) except in situations where reliability is not absolutely critical and where the cables are seldom or never disconnected/reconnected.

Otherwise, it’s worth looking at the mobile 3. 5mm cables or the premiums. That said, I have no experience with those products, except for a premium 3. 5mm splitter which I don’t use often. Next time I need a 3.

5mm cable (i. e. after all of the “basic” ones I have short out/break which should take a few months), I will look to the mobile 3. 5mm cables, as the premium cables seem to be too thick and inflexible, while these ones short out very easily.

I expect the mobile cables to work with PID 8323 (the premium over-ear headphones) but have not tried them. However, I know that the connector for these cables (as well as the premium cables) do not fit into the headphone’s connector.

PROS: Very, very inexpensive, relatively tough materials. CONS: Poor internal wiring.

Ive gotten nothing but great products from Monoprice, but these are horrible. I ordered these simply because the cables I have now are too short. After waiting anxiously for them to arrive, I plugged them in in hopes of finally being able to have a full 8 channels again, and to my horror, the buzzing, humming, the feedback on these cables is way too prevalent in all 4 cables to be even considered remotely useful.

I feel ripped off, especially when I paid close to three times the price in shipping alone for them. PROS: At least they’re 12 foot. CONS: – So much interference that they are useless. – The jacks feel almost too small and do not seat the way they should – Out of 4 cables, none are usable.

I used the 3′ braided black aux cable to replace the absurdly short one I had in the car. The old one was so tiny it was difficult to change songs on my device and the sound was terrible. The cable is threaded through the center console in the car, so it experiences a lot of stress and the braided feature protects the cord well.

The sound quality is much clearer and less fuzzy than with the older brand. I also really like how every part of the packaging is recyclable and it’s clearly indicated on the bottom in an eye catching size.

I was using an AUX cable that was given to me that was, let’s say, lesser quality. But I couldn’t complain since it was free (though I really wanted to as it did the ‘only worked on the left side or right side sometimes’) Then I got the AUX CABLE 3′ BRAIDED BLACK cable.

I realized that the amount of difference was more vast than I realized. The quality was far superior and I do not have the one side or other issue. The length as bit small but it still is a great cable.

Review of – Monoprice 105599 10 Feet Premium Stereo Male to 2RCA Male 22AWG Cable, Black – This is a high quality cable. This cable has a very thick housing with lots of shielding. This cable is nicely adequate strain relief at both ends of the cable.

This cable even weighs a lot, because of its sturdy construction. This cable is very good value for money when it is available at its often offered sale/discount price. – The bottomline is that this brand of audio cable, Monoprice, is superior to most other brands available on Home Essentials Direct.

Having had good experiences with Monoprice’s products in the past, I purchased three of these in April of 2020. Initial impressions were positive as far as build appearance, though clearly not high end.

The audio quality is great, but build quality is questionable. I do think they could be a little stiffer in the first place with the excessive flexibility reminding me of wet noodles. Cables this thick shouldn’t be so floppy.

On the plus side, the RCA connectors have a death grip on jacks so they don’t slip at all once in place. Note that you should make sure they are fully on due to how tight the connectors are — expect a great deal of resistance.

Cheap RCA terminals might strip off during removal, so be careful when unplugging them. Fortunately, the textured rubber assists in getting a firm grip. In summation, I have mixed feelings about Monoprice’s cables since they feel fragile.

Very good !!! Used all 3 cables in series to extend the TV speaker to my wired headset in my easy chair! This TV does not have Bluetooth capability so I could not use a Bluetooth product. My wiring is concealed, and I am happy….

Well, I needed a headphone extension for my blue yeti Nano microphone. I find that the best buy branded products work as well as name brand products. Just plugged it in the microphone and attached a pair of wired earbuds and the sound was pefect.

It filled the need. The person at the front door was going to direct me where to find what I needed but decided to take me to it, as it was a little hard to find according to him. He suggested the 6-foot version, which was perfect, and it was paid for and I was on my way out quickly.

Very efficient. Very appreciated.

Was looking for a basic cable and this one seemed to be well made. It was exactly what I needed.

On a trip and needed this. Sure enough, OD/OM store had in stock and easy to find. Works perfectly as advertised.

The 10 mm long lead 3. 5mm Jack AUX was simple to install and has improved the quality of life for the deaf, elderly person it was bought for. This was achieved by the lead enabling the sound of the TV to relay to small speakers placed in a more appropriate/suitable position for easy listening.

Obviously can be used in many situations.

These leads are not screened at all, lots of hum and interference when used to connect two pieces of equipment. together. Problem disappeared when I used more expensive screened leads. Certainly no good for connecting any decent audio equipment, certainly not for professional audio use as stated in the advert details.

Buy the more expensive screened leads and save the hassle.

I am quite happy with this extension lead. The connection to my wired ear buds is very good with no slipping or outright disconnect and the sound quality is not affected by the 5m length. I bought three of these as spares.

This item is working well for me. The sound is good. The braided construction is strong, lets it bend without feeling like it’s going to break.

Hoped this 3.5mm cable would work – but – these do not fit into Skullcandy headphones. Had to return.

This is a good enough for my auxiliary audio connection to a new CD player.
