20 Best 36 Inch Kitchen Sinks (2022 Updated)

Gunmetal stainless is gorgeous, well built, and very sturdy. Paired it up with a chrome pulldown faucet and it looks great. We’ve received many compliments on the sink. Only knock is similar to other comments regarding getting debris down the drain.

It takes some time to figure out where to squirt water to push items towards the center drain. As with all stainless sinks, you need to wipe it down each day to avoid any etching from water spots. It takes 30 seconds and the sink will look new for a long time.

Stunning. I haven’t installed it yet. But, very pleased with the quality.

I wrote this review and posted on Kraususa. com as well. If you are looking for a farmhouse/apron front sink you already expect to either pay a premium for install or put in a little thought to prepare the sink base yourself.

We just installed this sink and expect it to wear like any other stainless sink. We replaced a very nice cast iron sink with this as we didn’t want another white cast iron sink as ours was prone to showing every wear mark from the other “K” brand.

Overall, the sink was pretty easy to install. I installed the sink in a 36 inch base cabinet. This is contrary to what most of what you find on the internet. The internet claims you need to install this type of sink in a base at least 3 inches larger than the sink.

After preparing the base there is a minor reveal of about 1/16″ on either side of the base. Basically, the face of the cabinet is cut to match the height of the sink and the sides are notched to match the profile.

I also cut the top of the base where the sink rests, so when the sink is installed the rear of the base is a little proud of the sink. This way the countertop does not put weight onto the perimeter of the sink.

The sink is siliconed in place. When the countertops are installed the space between the countertop and the sink will have silicone as well. The drain that came with the sink was mostly plastic, so I opted for a complete stainless steel drain I purchased from a third party.

Overall, my wife and I are very happy with this sink. We joke with our kids that if we had this when they were babies we could easily have bathed them in this huge 36″ sink. We can’t wait for our countertops and backsplash to be in place to finish off this remodel.

It’s beautiful!! I was 100% against a stainless steel sink and wanted a ceramic farmhouse. Once I started reading up on sinks I decided stainless wasn’t bad if you had certain features. This sink has all you want in a stainless sink plus quite a few “extras”, and it’s a farmhouse style.

We’re remodeling a newly purchased home and have searched a few places for a farmhouse sink. Farm Sink Shop had the lowest price we found, we ordered it and it was shipped to us very quickly! When it arrived it was packaged well with no visible signs of damage.

Unfortunately we haven’t had it installed yet but we can’t wait to see it in our new kitchen!.

Installed about 2 months ago. Sink is a good quality material. I like the depth of the sink, doesn’t affect my back (I’m 6 ft. & my wife is 5 8”). Like the idea of just single sink bowl as compare to double bowl sinks esp.

if you’re washing bigger utensils in the sink and rest in dishwasher like us. I like the stainless steel optional bottom mesh, you are not hitting and scratching bottom of your sink. Bottom has good absorbing material for noise.

Great size, love the cutting board and drain rack. Although the sink works exceedingly well in my kitchen, I’m a freak for a clean looking sink, and it shows water spots really badly. Additionally, the rack that protects the bottom (which is a must have), has to be dried off to prevent water drips/spots.

Looooove how deep and wide this sink is. Big enough to even fit a baby bathtub inside and also to bathe baby when she outgrew the tub. Although I love the sink and would buy it again, there are some downsides:- if the install is not exact, the accessories may not fit well.

My quartz counter opening was cut a millimeter too small, so I have had to sand down the wooden cutting board for it to be able to slide freely. I- I found the sink grid annoying to keep clean so stopped using it, therefore leading to some scratches at the bottom- the corners are indeed very tight, which looks nice but actually easily builds up with food gunk.

The tight ess makes it harder to clean out as well. The ledges for the accessories also tend to collect water and gunk. Make sure you have a small brush on hand to clean those tight areas out!.

I had read other reviews mentioning small rust spots in this sink but figured it may have just been a defect and decided to take my chances. Low and behold within the first 2 weeks of having our sink installed and in use, I am getting these tiny little rust spots that don’t just wipe off.

Yes, Bar Keepers Friend removes them with a bit of scrubbing, but in my opinion a quality “stainless steel” sink shouldn’t be rusting within the first two weeks – or at all for that matter. Very disappointed as this sink was everything I had been looking for otherwise.

Should have purchased the other brand I was looking at.

Absolutely love this sink! So happy with this purchase. I’ve had it installed now for several months. Note: if you’re replacing countertops and having this installed undermount, highly recommend checking while your installers are still there to make sure the attachments can move freely.

Ours technically fit at first but you kind of had to shove them in. Had them grind down a little bit of the opening and now it fits great.

This is a beautiful sink! No if’s and’s or but’s about it. But if you drop something in it from a height of 2 to 3 inches it will crack. And they don’t warranty any drops. They won’t even discuss it with you.

So a beautiful sink at a reasonable price will end of costing you triple, because you will have to buy replacement and pay to have the cracked one removed and the new one installed. If you don’t use your kitchen this is beautiful and buy it.

If you actually cook in your kitchen and wash things in the sink then buy a cast iron Kholer, unless you like replacing sinks every time something slips out of your soapy hands.

After a few months of using this sink, I can say it’s better than the Franke farmhouse we had installed in our prior home. And I have high praises for Franke farmhouse sinks. We love this Blanco model because of the inside ledge feature and the depth was perfect for me to get into cuz I’m short.

The price on this unit was less than the Franke and just as beautiful and durable. We bought this with the sink protector grid and the butcher block that sits in the sink. I also found an expandable dish drainer that was able to insert into that inside ledge when I needed an extra area to drain those hand wash items!!.

Brought the sink a few months ago and when it arrived it was off white more like the biscuit color shown above. I called the company and they said that’s just how it is. I would’ve returned it but my project was over due.

Oh and the smell that came out the box when it arrived was out of this world. Terrible!!!.

We bought a similar sink in 2018, live on the Caribbean island of Bonaire & have been thrilled with the quality and durability. Things corrode quickly here and there is no evidence of any rust or degradation.

Here are my only thoughts on this sink: 1. there is no drain. We have had the faucet running & had the sink overflow multiple times. We have a cement kitchen & tile floors so there was no damage when it overflowed.

That is not the sinks fault, but just something for buyers to know: if you have this, pay attention when you’re running water 🙂 2. The pitch of the sink is not steep enough to easily drain. We have dust blow in daily, so we scrub it daily, but even when rinsing dishes, debris doesn’t naturally flow to the drain – there’s an extra effort to push things towards the drain.

As you can imagine, building a house is stressful in itself. Trying to pick out colors, and things that will compliment is difficult in person. Now add only seeing it in pictures to that mix. I could not be more pleased with this sink.

I knew I wanted something different, classy, but practical. I found this sink. My husband was on board with it as well. big plus! I had ordered all of my faucets and hardware for the cabinets before getting the sink.

I know that sounds crazy, but it’s how it happened. We ordered the sink and paid a little extra to get it in while we were at the build site. The day came for it to arrive. I was like a child at Christmas.

My husband unpacked the sink and I was so happy with the color. I was afraid it was going to be obnoxious, and boy was I ever wrong. We bought the champagne bronze faucets and that color is an exact match to the sink.

Ordering was a breeze, delivery on time and one satisfied customer! I couldn’t take pictures because we don’t even have walls up yet. Just know I am totally in love with the look and quality of the sink.

It is a little on the pricey side, but you do get what you pay for.

Let me say first, I love the look and size of this sink! Daily task in the kitchen are a breeze. We’re able to wash oversized pans without any hassle. But I dislike that although the description of this sink says that it is scratch resistant, I have scratches from washing my pots and pans.

For the price of this sink that’s only been installed for about 6 months, that’s unacceptable. The optional drains scratch very easily as well. Don’t waste the $70 cause you can’t tell they’ve ever matched the sink.

I have looked into buying sink protectors but because of the sink’s size, that mission has been impossible. Customer Service hasn’t been able to help us neither. I wish protectors were offered for this unique sink.

Also they don’t offered garbage disposal flange to match the color.

Sink came quickly and it’s so pretty! Looks to be good quality and I love the accessories that came with it. I was a little confused that it came with a drain that doesn’t work with a disposal and we will have to change the flange out but when I looked back at the description it says that so my fault for not reading that part.

But not a big deal anyway was just confusing for me at first when I opened it up! So excited to get it installed and use it!!.

It’s pretty much just what we wanted. We love the cutting board & strainer that fits into the sink! I might add that we wished the protective grill that goes on the bottom, was not all one piece. It makes it hard to keep clean, because there’s always something on top of it.

We ended up taking it out.

Excellent sink, excellent quality! Have had no issues with this sink, and have had it installed for 3 years now. I wipe it down after doing dishes and have yet to experience the staining people mention.

I bought this sink, an Edison kitchen faucet, and 6 other bathroom faucets when I built my house and am super happy with everything from Vigo! I can say I wish the bathroom faucets had a tad more pressure but it’s not a deal breaker.

Looking at Vigo shower towers to replace the one that’s not a Vigo in my master bath when it’s time to do so as they didn’t make them when I built my home. Very pleased with Vigo and their products. Haven’t had to utilize a warranty or customer service as of yet but from what I read from other customers if I do it will be a pleasant experience!.

Just installed. We had only seen it online, not in person. It’s pretty much as you would expect. The polishing is more extensive inside the bowls than on the front surface. We were hoping for the same level of polish at the front.

Other than that, I was hoping for the pipe to go from since to 1. 5in ABS compression… that’s what I was used to with other sinks I bought in the past (small sample size). Price was a bit of a stretch for us.

Great sink! We replaced a marble farmhouse sink with this stainless steel one, and couldn’t be happier! Stylish, easy to keep clean, and the single bowl is huge; room for a dinner party’s worth of dishes.

I didn’t think I would use the accessories much, but I love the drying rack, it stays out all the time. I’ve only had this for a month, but very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend!.

Great kitchen sink! It looks fantastic and we’ve gotten so many compliments on it. It’s very functional and works as it should. The bonus roll-up drying rack and cutting board are perfect and we use them often.

It is December now and it has finally been installed. The construction on the kitchen has taken six months. But the sink is everything plus what I expected it to be. I laughed at the way the Fossett was boxed I called it my Louis Vuitton faucet.

Trying to wash dishes and large pans in a split sink is frustrating. So when we decided to renovate our kitchen, the first thing I researched was the largest sink I could find at a reasonable cost. We wanted a contemporary, flat apron, white sink and found exactly that.

It’s installed, looks beautiful, and we are grateful for the gray, split, silicone grid that came with the sink. It cleans easily and so far, we haven’t had any issues with chipping. It was very reasonably priced compared to other brands.

This a beautiful, large, deep sink, perfect for my sheet pans and larger casserole dishes. The finish is beautiful and the metal protective grid is sturdy. It has a almost completely flat bottom surface which requires a little effort to clean.

I would definitely buy it again.

I bought this a few months ago with the Vigo kitchen faucet. The soap dispenser is a nice matte black finish but the neck is too short. You can barely fit your hand under to catch the pumped soap. The stem needs to be another 2 inches taller.

Too bad there isn’t another Vigo soap dispenser with longer stem I can replace with.

I’ve had this faucet sine 2009. almost 9 years now. Wow time flies. It still looks brand new! I recently had a leaking issue. I contacted customer service, sent them a quick video and within a few days I had the replacement part.

Now it’s working as good as new again!.

This is the deepest sink that I’ve ever had, and oh! I didn’t know what I was missing! It holds a boatload of dishes (and never overflows with them because it’s so deep) and with the included grate, hasn’t scratched AT ALL.

It’s not prone to water spots (or finger prints) and is a real statement piece in my kitchen remodel. I love the combination of durability, functionality, and aesthetics. I researched the best sink for hours, and I definitely feel like I hit a home run with this one.

There are so many positive things to say about this sink. It’s large, deep, made of high quantity stainless, and it’s perfect for many styles of decor. The only downside I’ve found is that the slope toward the drain isn’t sufficient for food to wash into the garbage disposal without a lot of water or manually pushing it in, and I’ve verified that the sink is leveled correctly.

Other than that, it’s been great.

I bought two of these sinks for our new house. One that was split and that was not. The split version is located in a huge island in the middle of a very large great room and can be seen from all corners of the house.

Both look terrific if they are never ever used. Even if just running water in them, mares the surface with water spots. After two months in the house, the bottoms of both sinks look like they have been abused for years, even though we have barely used them for anything other than washing our dishes.

I have tired the recommended cleaning techniques and have found that they only tend to mask the surface deficiencies, which promptly reappear after running water in the sink or washing one set of dishes.

THESE ARE NOT LOW MAINTENANCE SINKS. I spend more time trying to keep these sinks looking halfway decent than it is worth. Despite being brand new, I am actually considering removing both of them and replacing them with a higher quality alternative.

A sink that looks just as good, which you can actually used for its intend purpose and doesn’t require such a huge amount of maintenance.

This sink is my favorite part of my renovated kitchen. Even though it’s only 30 inches wide, it’s big enough for pots and cookie sheets. It’s top mounted and I like the small edge. The metal rack provided is great and keeps scratches away.

I clean with a little dawn and water. Arrived well packaged, and plumber had no complaints about installation. Has a nice clean look. Love it.

This undermount sink is the real deal. Before this, we had a typical sink with a smooth, rounded edge. It’s also quite shallow so we always dealt with spashes and splatters on the backsplash and even on the floor.

Now that we have a deeper sink with more utilities, it’s much easier to work in the kitchen.

We’ve been wanting to replace our sink with this one because it has many functions to it. Apart from the wood, I think the rest of the materials are rust-resistant. I guess my only issue is with all the extra parts, it already looks cramped.

But we haven’t worked on anything that doesn’t fit there yet so I guess that’s fine.

Excellent sink! Well made and solid. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars are a few nits. First, the bottoms of the basins don’t have enough slope for good draining. Seems like all the “designer” sinks these days suffer from this problem, and I don’t know why.

It would not be difficult to manufacture them with more slope. As it is I use a lot more water to rinse the sink, and it is often necessary to lift up the rack to wipe away food scraps. Second, the rubber “feet” on the racks are open at the top, which allows them to collect and retain water.

This will eventually cause rust to form, as well as be a source of trapped food and bacteria. I filled the openings with black RTV silicon, which should help prevent these problems. This could easily be done by the manufacturer before shipping.

It’s a very good sink. Large and deep. I only wish the divider didn’t come all the way to the top. I don’t like using the grates because it’s a pain to constantly move to clean under them. But if you remove them I have found that not all the scuff marks come off like my old stainless steel sink.

The scuff marks are from other steel pots. So use the grate while cleaning those pots and it will be fine. Most all the scuffs come off. I’m just a bit picky.

I bought this combo back in July and absolutely love it. Function perfectly and looks incredible. I have recommended this and the website to a number of people. I work in real estate and come across lots of people wanting to do renovations.

I have heard great reviews from the people I have sent to this site as well.

I wish I could give this a 5 star but can’t. The left side wall of my sink looks like someone used something abrasive when wiping the sink and it’s scratched. I love the look and am happy that I purchased this set.

I love my sink. This is the only double bowl stainless apron front sink that I could find that has a lip to keep the water from flowing over the front if the water lands on the sink separator in the middle.

I would definitely buy it again. I wish the bottom of the sink was a little more sloped so that food flowed more freely toward the drain, but this seems to be the design of most modern sinks. In the pics note how there is a lip to keep water from overflowing the front of the sink.

This is key! Most 2 bowl sinks don’t have this feature.

We purchased the Edison Stainless Steel kitchen faucet after seeing that item in use at a relative’s house. A plumber installed the faucet as part of the process of installing a new sink and appeared to have little difficulty with it; it is a one-hole sink installation.

The faucet appears well-made and has an excellent finish. The fixture arrived in a box that presented the item in high-end fashion — wrapped in a fabric bag within a fitted carton. In the several months that have passed, we have enjoyed the use of the Edison faucet.

The entire faucet assembly can turn side-to-side to reach different areas of the sink; the control handle is fixed in position. The faucet’s side-mounted, lever handle easily controls water flow and temperature mix.

The height of the faucet makes filling large pots easy and the pull-down spray is nicer to use than conventional pull-up sprays. The spray cradles in a holder mounted to the fixture and can be tilted in any direction once pulled out of its seat.

A small rocker valve control on the faucet switches between aerated stream and spray and is easily changed whilst the faucet is held in one hand. The only criticism I will make is that the spray’s cradle turns with the hose and gets in the way a bit.

This is a very nice faucet and represents an excellent price/quality value.

Love the look and features of this faucet. Good size, not too tall like some others. My husband installed it with no problems. He used plumbers tape for all the connections and so far so good. After a few months now, the pull down has started to drip just a few drops after use.

It came assembled so nothing we did. Getting ready to call service. Except for this problem, would have given it a 5 rating.

It was installed 3 weeks ago and looks great with my new black granite sink. Just cant say enough. Sprayer / regular faucet works smoothly and flawlessly. Super easy installation and instructions. I have gotten many “WOW” comments from all who have seen it.
