I’ve been on a journey of spiritual enlightenment and have been soaking up all of the books I can find! This book did not disappoint. It’s 140 pages so it only took me a few days to read, but it is filled with with useful information that really makes you think about how we as humans are programmed to think the way that we do and how to change those patterns for our own good.

I would recommend this book to anyone that is trying to dig deep and find the out who they are at their core.

This book is difficult to categorize. Is it a book: about a philosophy a member of the ‘Self-Help’ genre a ‘spiritual’ basis for Bowanian Theory a mythological history of Mexican enlightenment or a memoir of a man’s recollections of a beloved Grandfathers teaching? Any of these designations would be correct at points and all of them (plus a few more) would be needed to accurately describe this slim non-fiction ‘booklet’ that is right at home in a New Age library.

Don Miguel Ruiz survived a near-death experience that led him to study the ‘wisdom teachings’ of his ancestors. As his grandfather was a nagual (teacher/leader/shaman) of the Toltec one could say he was drawn into the family custom and has followed the teaching of the Toltec tradition since the early 1970’s.

At the root of that tradition are four agreements but the reader is given background and is given a short tutorial in the language of this discipline before being exposed to those ‘agreements. ‘ The author suggests that the adherence to those four ‘agreements’ will bring internal direction and peace calmness to one’s household and would lead to world peace (if enough people followed those teachings).

Mr. Ruiz does an excellent job of quickly familiarizing the reader with a long tradition that lead to the development of the agreements. The 1st Agreement: Be Impeccable with Your Word ñ as the words one speaks become powerful (‘magical’ is how the author describes them) speak only truth let only positive things be spoken and live by what you say.

The 2nd Agreement: Don’t Take Anything Personally ñ what is spoken to you is about the speaker not you unless you ‘make it about you’ (take it personally). Practice detachment in relationship allowing others to know you without a need to be accepted by them.

The 3rd Agreement: Don’t Make Assumptions ñ ‘The problem with making assumptions is that we believe they are the truth. ‘ Everyone makes assumptions and once they are pronounced they must me defended.

Real love is accepting others and self as ‘they are’ not needing to change others and changing ourselves as we desire. The 4th Agreement: Always Do Your Best ñ perfection is a delusion whose pursuit only leads to misery.

Life is fluid and ever changing learning to do one’s best and accept that limit opens one to the ‘magic’ of a more full life. None of these agreements is earth shaking new revelation nor are they limited to the Toltec teachings.

They are also words that merit repeating as most (all) major religions (and many effective psychological treatment modalities) use these teachings in some form as the basis for personal peace and healthy community living.

Having them gathered in a volume such as this one causes these ‘reminders’ to be freshened and a point for reminding caring and ‘loving’ people how one is to act that will affect one’s community in a positive way.

Reading this book straight through will take a matter of an hour or two; READING it will require: a fresh highlighter space for reflection a sounding board for ‘spouting off’ against and a willingness to hear truth without surrendering one’s Self to another’s opinion.

This book is Amazing! So amazing I read half of it in one night. It opens doors to the beauty of Living a life filled with love. Not only to your self but to the rest of the world. It helps you understand the power we each have as people.

If you want the keys to express love and live a life filled with positivity buy this book.

The Pi 4 does not boot with the the SD card from my Raspberry Pi 3. The image is Raspian Buster so I thought that it would work fine. The Pi 4 boots perfectly using a fresh Raspberry Pi OS install, but I was hoping to start out with all of the the nifty customization that is already working well on my Pi 3 image.

The Pi 4’s boot up speed and browser responsiveness is excellent. Libre Office and local printing work fine. The Geekworm passive heat sink case works fine for me, and the max temperature that I have seen is 61C.

I like to set up the Pi so it runs VNC Server, and then operate it from my laptop. I have not yet tried the 64 bit version of the OS. I bought the 8GB Pi, but 4GB would probably be enough for me and for almost all users.

By the way, my first install used a random old 32GB SD card, and the initial update on the first boot took 75 minutes. But when I used a SanDisk 32GB Extreme Pro, the same update completed in less than 15 minutes.

Spend a few buck for a well rated card. Vilros filled my order promptly, and they were the only supplier that had 8GB Pi’s when I placed my order.

Works fine out of the box. It’s not as nippy as the 8GB version, which I also have. Slowish if used for Web surfing, but you get what you pay for. However it works just as well as the 8GB version when used with my Picotech Dr Daq and 1020 series ADC data logging systems and handles the real time graphing and computational tasks well.

Buying it has released my 8GB version for more interesting projects. It did have one advantage for me over the 8GB version in that it gave me the opportunity to install the earlier Aduino IDE version 1.

8 which has the Serial plotter option. The version 2. 0 IDE which I have on my 8GB pi doesn’t yet have the plotter option which is a serious omission if you want to plot real time data. If you just want the 4GB version for project work it will be absolutely fine and you will love it.

If you want it for use as a surrogate desktop PC it will be disappointing.

I bought the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 4GB to replace my old Steam Link hardware as it wasn’t capable of streaming 2160p. I nearly have 2160p 30Hz being streamed perfectly. I just have a couple of niggles I can hopefully work out.

I’d much prefer 60Hz if I can get it there. It streams 1080p great but I had the Steam Link hardware for that already. I couldn’t get the Pi to run Raspberry OS at 4K 60Hz. I enabled the option in the Pi Config tool and rebooted but it doesn’t get past the debug colour wheel on boot.

This might be a power issue though as I didn’t buy the official cable. I don’t have many other USB-C cables to try. I may purchase one at some point but the price is a little steep for me right now. A point for Pi Hut to note is that my letter box is vertical and near enough eye level.

I was near the door when the postie decided to drop it through. My heart sank as I knew that was going to be my Pi on the floor. Please can you post in something that won’t fit through a letter box or at least put fragile on the box.

I have no idea if that incident has impacted the life of my Pi. No immediate damage but who knows what that drop has done. If only he’d knocked. :(.

As a family of 3 boys 4 and under, and with two cars that need seats regularly, we’ve been through A LOT of car seats. When the Stellar Product Testing Panel offered to provide the Graco 4Ever DLX Snuglock Grow in exchange for our honest feedback, we leaped at the chance.

Our youngest is going to outgrow his infant seat any day now and the timing was perfect. Right off the bat, I was very impressed with the clarity of the manual. It is incredibly easy to figure out which install you need and what the rules and methods are for that install.

We were especially excited to see that they allow for a variety of thin seat protectors, which is crucial with a bunch of messy kids. Some manuals just don’t comment on certain common practices (like protectors), and we appreciated having the information readily available.

It also seems very simple to remove the covers for washing and is very clear on what you may and may not use to clean the seat. This is something that I don’t think is made clear to caregivers in many other instances.

It’s important to know what is and is not going to compromise the integrity of the car seat, and Graco keeps that info front and center. We opted for a rear facing seatbelt install. Our youngest two boys both fall within the weight limit for a latch install, but our two year old is getting close.

Install took minutes. It’s worth noting that this seat requires the cup holders to be attached during use. This isn’t an issue, but is not something I think most caregivers would take notice of. We were thrilled with the non-rethread harness, which let us quickly adjust shoulder strap height without taking everything apart.

My husband’s car can only take two car seats and this makes it so that both boys can be placed in the same seat with very little and very easy adjustment. We also appreciate the shoulder space that grows as you raise the headrest.

Our kids have long torsos and this lets them remain comfortable. While none of our kids are forward facing or ready for boosters, it’s awesome that we will be able to use the same seat for that in the future.

My one qualm with the seat is that it is not ideal for extended rear facing. Our 4-year-old has already exceeded the weight limit in the seat for rear facing, while he has about 12 lbs left in his current seat (he will exceed the height before that happens).

I’m aware that most kids his age are already forward facing, though, so I don’t think this is in any way a deal breaker for most families. Overall, this is a very high end and well thought out seat with the clearest instructions I’ve encountered in a car seat.

We can’t wait to use as our kids grow. We definitely would recommend it and are grateful for the opportunity from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The 4Ever DLX Snuglock Grow is an amazing product! It’s a high quality and well made seat. I love the the seat come with removable padded inserts that can easily be removed or put in if your kiddo needs some extra cushion.

In addition the cover on the car seat is easily removable as well in the instance you need to remove and wash the seat cover. This seat works with both tree latch system and with a seatbelt. In my car I installed the car seat using the latch system and the functionality of the car seat in conjunction with the latch system made it super easy to secure the seat in place.

Super reliable seatbelt – Have had no issues with my toddler being able to unbuckle herself and don’t see with the type of belt that she would be able to on her own. The carseat is very spacious and roomy for my kid but without being bulky and oversized in the back seat of my SUV.

My favorite feature is that there are two cup holders, which with a toddler is a must! Both cup holders are removeable which is great when the day comes they need to be emptied, washed, cleaned etc. I truly appreciate that this is a seat that is the one and only seat you need for the duration of time your kiddo is in a car seat for.

Overall I am thrilled with this car seat. It works great for my toddler, fit comfortably in my car and gives me peace of mind that my kid is safe and secure while in the seat! I highly recommend this car seat!.

Seek your Fortune in one of the most greatest games ever. Filled with amazing characters, writing, and the graphics are incredible! Even now the graphics are awesome. The story is great and if you are a fan on story based games, this one’s for you! It is by Naughty Dog, which is the creators of The Last of Us and the other Uncharted games (obviously 🙂 ).

And you take flight in an amazing and fitting finale of Nathan Drake’s Adventures. ”one last time”. The statue and steel book are awesome edition to the game. Only with Libertalia Edition can you get the statue.

The steel book is in special and collectors I believe. The statue is great! A lot bigger than I thought it would be! The art book is a treasure. I collect video game art books, and this one is one of my favorites.

If you collect statues, I highly recommend this Nathan Drake statue to be added to your collection. Couldn’t be more happy with the Libertalia Edition :).

This game is easily the best adventure game I’ve ever played. Most of the world is huge and open with very few parts confining you to corridor like paths. Almost everywhere you can see you can get to at some point, I was genuinely surprised in the Madagascar chapters when I found out all the parts in the backdrop were places I ended up reaching.

The campaign is made up of 22 chapters each taking between 20 minutes and up to 2 hours each, I’d estimate the campaign at around 12 to 15 hours to complete first time through, depending on whether you want to explore everything and how quick you figure out the puzzles, so it’s a very long campaign, but due to how well the environments, cutscenes, and character interactions are put in it never seems to drag on, even with the long paths of enemies to push through.

There are a bunch of collectables which are easy to miss, but you should really try to get as many as you can as you gain points for each collectable you find that you can spend on things like screen effects, character skins, etc.

(you can unlock a shader that makes the game look a little like borderlands). While it is very good there were a few things I had a problem with: In sequences where you have to run from something generally there is a static path you have to follow despite there being alternate paths, and if you stray from the path you get insta-fail.

Some areas of the environment caught me out because they were rendered with the hand hold parts but you couldn’t actually use them, because they were the wrong path, which meant falling to my death. You will find more often then not you will have to search for the path and if you can’t find it you have to wait until the game gives you hints.

The game has some pretty bad QTEs, including ones which strip away your actions from other ones but doesn’t let you know, e. g. When you have to fight a specific individual (avoiding spoilers), earlier during a fist fight QTE you had the option to counter and roll away, in this specific fight you are basically made to lose because the story demands it.

There are a couple of knee high obstacles you cannot cross because the game wants you to go another way. The game installs 3 times before it is ready to be played: once from disc when you put it in, once from the patch, and once in the main menu.

And I would recommend restarting the PS4 after it’s fully installed. I found the game was very unstable before it had fully installed (from the main menu) despite it saying the campaign was ready, in fact it crashed on me 7 times during my playthrough, all in the first 4 chapters, thankfully it does have a good checkpoint system so I didn’t lose much progress.

I’m sure this will get patched in time as The last of us was also very unstable at launch. All in all, I still recommend it, it’s an experience that’s well worth your time and you don’t need knowledge f the previous titles to get into it (which is good because this is the first Uncharted game I’ve ever played aside from a few demos).

It has a number of unique mechanics and stealth is an option even though you’re never forced to use it.

I’ve played the whole series now, and have sworn an awful lot. I like the mix of puzzles and climbing, being a Tomb Raiderer. With regard to the combat, I chose to play easy to start with, then play again at increasingly harder difficulties.

quite honestly, with all 5 games, ‘easy’ should be a heck of a lot easier than it is set at – in this games there’s no target-assist. I’ve been playing games for 35 years+, and I’m used to firing weapons in-game, but how many head shots make a head shot? If I shoot you in the head, it’s not likely I have to do it more than once unless I need to blow your helmet off first.

I died more times than I cared to at this low difficulty level, places to duck behind sometimes weren’t there and if baddies snuck up behind me while I’m trying to take out the RPG man. ? I try to roll away from cover when a grenade is thrown, only for the character to refuse to comply, giving me very sore thumbs trying to force him to move.

If I shimmy round a rock, somehow the baddie I’m changing my angle of attack to knows I’ve moved even though he cannot see me. I dread to think what brutal difficulty will be like. if I make it there.

I’ve played Naughty Dog’s The Last of US on ‘grounded’ and fared much better, lol. That said, buy it, make your own mind up. It’s notat all bad, just frustrating at times.

The Last of Us was such an intense experience. It strongly emphasizes survival in both its gameplay and story. Great production values for the time even though the game is in 720p and not 1080p. The voice acting is some of the best I have heard in gaming.

The music compliments the emotional core of the game which did wonders to bring in much investment I had with the game’s story. This just became one of my favorite games. As for how DKOldies handled the process of shipping this game to me, they did great, Case was in great shape, disc was clean.

That is all I can ask for.

Great graphics, story, sound design, and challenging. It was the last truly great single player game of the PS3 console, and it did set the bar rather high – though PS4/XB1 consoles have largely not delivered better me thinks.

Although for platformers, the somewhat quiet release of Puppeteer was tops of that genre, go get it if you havent played it. I found Last of Us compelling, engaging, and challenging, more than others of this genre.

LOU is better than the Uncharted series, C’mon! In fact, I got stumped and replayed scenes a few times to get it right. I did feel some parts of the game can be frustrating, yet overall I found it extremely fun.

Perhaps too scary for young children, and occasionally creepy at times for viscerally gifted adults. That said, it’s way friendlier than horror genre games like Silent Hill or Resident Evil, so don’t let a little thing like a pitch black room full of slinking, mushroom-faced monsters hold ya back.

I had forgotten that I still have my PS3 Slim, and Last of Us (among other titles), so I will give it another go before selling it this holiday. You should be able to pick this game up now, 12/2019, for under 15, used.

Puppeteer goes for like 23. If XB1 or PS4 is getting old (and it has for me), you could migrate to Nintendo Switch for a change (Ive so missed Mario Bros and Kart) – ack! that console holds its value tho, or revisit PS3 or even Wii very economically.

Nothing will get my to repurchase a used Xbox 360 however lol bah humbug.

I normally don’t even like video games. I get bored after about 30 minutes of play… but this one. This one is wayyyy different. It keeps you so interested and intrigued, I seriously can’t put it down.

I’ve almost beat the whole thing in about a week!! The story line is incredible and the characters/graphics/sounds are all on point! Great game! Will be buying part 2 right away!.

The Playstation 4 comes in different packages and sizes. I currently have the regular size playstation with the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 version. My Playstation has always treated me right. The features I love the most is the fact I can watch Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max and Disney Plus.

Expectations with the product is the fact that it will overtime start to overheat which is a problem. Also if you don’t have enough storage on it you will have to eventually delete other games, screenshots and videos to add a new one.

My time with the Playstation 4 it has always run well. I only started to have issues around September of this year. The problem I have with it is that it tends to “overheat” when I try to play a certain game.

Specifically the game Call of Duty Vanguard. Even when the game isn’t got at all they say I need to let it cool off within 3 seconds or it will turn off instantly. Other than that this game is perfectly fine.

This is my overall review.

I have been playing Connect 4 for forty plus years. Every five to ten years, a new version is purchased. Even the box gets more flimsy with each new model. The slide mechanism is cheaper and less effective as well.

It is still a favorite on game night. We just prefer the older, durable model.

This is the first Apple product I have purchased. I expected top notch quality based on the feedback from people I know with Apple products, and Apple’s reputation they have created precedes them. I only switched to an iPad from an Android one for Adobe Fresco and Illustrator and Procreate since none of them are available on the Android platform.

The Apple Pencil was a consideration vs. competitors as well, but not a deal breaker as I’m fine with other pens. The first iPad I got had a speck of dust between the glass and screen. It was barely noticeable when the screen was on, but I finally decided to return it because I didn’t know if it would create a problem, especially with pressure sensitivity–which that in itself is important for drawing.

Best Buy of course swapped it out no problem when I showed them. The associate I got said he had never seen that before. (However, discussion boards are littered with stories of the same, I have now found.

) We opened the second iPad right then and there and both looked over the screen. Seemingly now problems. When I got home, I looked at it under brighter lighting and discovered a small scuff. Oh well, I thought.

I then tried out the Apple Pencil, and it would not drag smoothly across the screen except in a few small spots. It was almost like hitting fine sandpaper. It wasn’t the tip because it’s new for one, and two, the smooth and rough spots were in the exact same spots every time.

I ultimately decided to keep the one I had and not try again. Partially due to the hassle of it all, and partially because I will always have a glass screen protector on it anyway. (The cheap big box store one I got glides smoothly.

go figure. ) If Adobe ever brings Illustrator back to Android and brings Fresco over, I will be switching back to my go-to brand. Four cheap one expensive tablet, and 5 phones later, I only ever had an issue with one phone.

I’m 2 for 2 with Apple. Search “iPad dust under screen” and “iPad pencil not smooth” or “iPad rough glass” and see what you find before buying, lest you think this is a hoax review. It’s not just post-2020 situation stuff either.

I think it’s a great device for a great price. The iPad Air 5th Generation is very powerful and really benefits from Verizon’s amazing 4G LTE coverage. Most of the time I have had 5G nationwide coverage, but it’s often times the similar or worse than the 4G LTE.

I assume it’s because it’s new technology and has some quirks. Every once in awhile the 5G nationwide gives me about 100mbps compared to 4G LTE at like 80mbps, but like I said the 5G has quirks like random dips in download and upload speeds.

Serious dips under 1mbps. The 4G LTE is more consistent and saves battery so I almost always keep 5G off. I’m sure that if you have 5G UW coverage then it’s worth it to keep it on but I don’t have that here yet.

Anyways, the tablet itself is unbeatable in value and quality. It’s just as powerful as the iPad Pro and it has everything you’ll need. It’s not worth $300-$400 extra for 120hz and AR sensors. There’s also probably going to be an upgrade to the pro this fall so you’ll be current for longer with the iPad Air.

The only thing that holds the iPad back is iPad OS. It’s restrictive and missing a lot of features that would benefit it greatly. This is just because of Apple making their iPhones and iPads impossible to fully utilize with software restrictions.

It sucks because jailbreaks are rare nowadays with current Apple devices. This shouldn’t be a huge problem if you also have a PC for the things that Apple restricts on iPad. Overall the iPad is great and I recommend it, but don’t expect it to be able to perform like your PC.

The sad thing is that it’s powerful enough to run like a PC but it’s restricted by Apple. Regardless it’s great for what it does and you can’t beat it as far as cellular tablets goes. Definitely get the 256GB.

It’s perfect.

This iPad was purchased for a friend who was upgrading from a standard iPad. My friend was aware that I frequently use Very to purchase Apple products, and receive great cash back offers, and that the products are often also reduced in price.

I myself already have the iPad Air, as does my father and another friend, both of whom I gave recommendations to. I originally upgraded from the iPad Air 3 to the 4 simply for the larger screen. On the Air 4 there is no longer a thick border resulting in full screen experience.

The iPad is operated by a small button at the top that also has finger print recognition. I’ve not noticed much of a difference other than the screen size between the 3rd and 4th generations, although the 4th gen is a slightly different shape.

Operationally wise the 4th has an A14 chip rather than the A12 on the 3rd gen which makes it slightly faster, and the screen is Liquid Retina rather that just retina on the Air 3. It’s a great iPad and although I was more than happy with my Air 3 I’m pleased I upgraded for the larger screen size and cool new colour.

I would highly recommend the iPad Air 4 and although I really only use my iPad for browsing the internet, email communication and watching TV/movies but I’m sure the iPad has huge capacity to do a multitude of things I will never use it for.

I bought this Echo Dot with clock to use as a bedroom alarm clock. I love that it kept accurate time, and that the brightness of the display adjusts to the ambient light in the room. It’s also good for playing music or white noise when going to sleep.

After using the device reliably for a year I almost missed a flight when the alarm didn’t go off to wake me up one morning. The Echo had hung and wasn’t responding to voice commands. The clock still displayed the accurate time.

Since then, the unit has continued to hang a couple of times a day. The problem usually happens right after giving the Echo a command. The LEDS at the bottom come on and then stay on. At this point the only way to restore it is to unplug it for a few seconds.

I have searched the web for a solution and see that others are having the same issue. I have tried reloading the software from scratch to no avail. I can only assume that it’s a hardware design issue.

There has been no response from Amazon on the issue that I can see other than suggesting trying another power supply which I tried and it didn’t solve the issue. I have 15 other versions of Echo’s and none of them have this problem.

This experience has caused me to lose confidence in the reliability of Echo’s in general for anything important and now I use my phone for wake-up alarms.

I’ve had my two echo dots for a while now and have to say I’m very impressed. It’s able to help with so many things from weather to news to shopping lists and just looking up stuff and answering questions and setting timers and alarms.

I was surprised by the quality and pickup of the mics and it’s able to hear me from anywhere in my large living/dining room. The speaker quality is also amazing with punchy bass and I regularly use it to listen to music and podcasts and also can connect my phone to it to use as a Bluetooth speaker.

If you have more than one you can also play music across all of them and fill your house which sounds really cool. Alexa is very smart and is definitely easier to talk to than the Google Home and the voice also sounds much more natural with loads of different accents.

I also love the fact that you can call it different things like computer (which is what I have) as opposed to Google Home which is stuck as “Ok Google”. Finally, the lights on the bottom are a nice addition and gives it an edge over the other smart speakers.

This was a pretty garbage device from the second I got it. I’ll be the first to admit despising an admission of it, but even Siri is better than this thing. Just a constant of ‘I’m having trouble playing that right now, try again later’ but for everything.

The speaker quality was decent at best, it was all nothing but mid-range. The high and low ends were extremely washed out. What you see here is what you get. A talking bowling ball. I was extremely dissatisfied with this product over the entire year I had it, minus two months where it wouldn’t function at all, claiming issues with software updates, but wouldn’t connect to the app to actually perform the update, even Amazon couldn’t help, but lo and behold it actually worked one day.

In conclusion, save your money, and get a good Bluetooth speaker to hook to your phone, or one of the Apple devices similar, it’ll save you the inconvenience.

It really took off in popularity when Bethesda took over the project and introduced Fallout 3 as a 1st person shooter with great improvements to richly textured, open-world playing map that allowed you to go and do whatever you wanted and not have to strictly follow a scripted game.

You had a choice of character types to build from a good-guy melee fighter to a bad-girl sniper. There were various factions you could ally with or fight against and a post-atomic war wasteland full of mutated creatures to fight.

Whereas Fallout 3 was set in Washington DC, Fallout 4 is set in the Boston area. The graphics are even better, with textures and scenery that are amazing. The city scape is a maze of crumbled buildings with winding streets that are densely packed with a new challenge around every corner.

There are new factions added to the old and a new story line to investigate from Vault 111 where you awaken to find your child has been taken and it’s up to you to venture out and find him in a destroyed and dangerous world.

But, before you do, there is another feature to the game. You can also use workshops to build structures, furnishings, defenses, water and food resources to create safe settlements for people to inhabit and earn money for you.

You can craft better versions of the guns, melee weapons, and armor that you find. You can craft useful chemicals and medicine to heal yourself or companions who join you in taming the wasteland. Beside the basic, main quest, you will constantly find side-quests to assist other groups along the way and be sent on missions where you will find specialty “legendary” items that benefit you in your future battles.

There is a huge following to the game with a presence on social media sites including full walkthough gameplay videos on Youtube. The game is available for PC, XBox One, and Playstation 4. The PC version requires a high-end fast gaming PC that can be more expensive than the game consoles but at the top end can outperform them.

It would also require a large amount of memory and an expensive video card, but you can enter “console commands” via keyboard to interact with the game the way the developers do in creating special items or unlocking items that would normally be out of your current level of difficulty.

The gameplay on the consoles is very good with graphics set to less than extremely high settings. The game is a mix of shooter and role-playing games. It offers a little of both worlds in visually stunning and entertaining way.

It isa hugely popular game for a reason, it is pure fun and well worth the money.

I bought this because it has dropped recently to sub 5 if you shop around. For that money you get a helluva lot of content. I am not the biggest fan of the Fallout games, much preferring the swords and sorcery of the Elder Scrolls.

I have really been enjoying what I’ve played so far, the base building and collecting all sorts of random crap is probably my favourite part – the combat is what ruins it for me, no matter how good YOU are at aiming a gun you can still miss some shots unless you use your limited VATS but I like my combat to be more instantaneous.

Give me a sword to swing at someones head anyday. There is no denying the workmanship that has gone into creating a believable Post apocalyptic world and graphically on the Xbox one X it looks as good as on the pc for me (My pc can’t do 4k yet) you will often be surprised at how colourful the world is with some really beautiful skies.

I will profess and this is my problem with the game, if you don’t have much spare time then its really hard to do anything. Took me about an hour to get in game in the first place and it can take a good 10 – 15 minutes to even arrive at a story location, and then you need to add on time to complete it.

Luckily you can save whenever you like and carry on from that exact point, otherwise I would not be able to play it at all – I am lucky if I can grab 1 hour a day for gaming these days. If you’ve never played Fallout and have got a lot of time on your hands, you could do a lot worse than spending a fiver on picking this up for your hard earned money you will be getting a lot of hours of play as long as you can get to grips with the combat system.

Roll on the next Elder Scrolls!.

I wear them leisurely. The shoe have good material and the body of the shoes remit a shine when you take a picture of it with a flash. Usually the Air Jordan 5 only remit a shine on the tongue. The color is nice, the grey is a light grey and the hint of green is not to bright but bright enough to catch someones eye if they are looking down at your shoes.

Overall I would purchase the shoe again and any colorway that maybe release in the future.

Let’s start off by the color way itself which is one of my favorite on the AJ 5 retro line! The black, blue and metallic silver create an extremely appealing look on this Jordan 5 and the iconic shark tooth feature looks amazing! The suede is very high quality and there were no blemishes at all anywhere on it.

Over all a great shoe for daily wear as the color way goes with everything and the shoe is very comfortable.

The package of 4 Cola flavored sparkling cans were intact and packed in a small shipping box that had been stuffed with brown paper to fill the empty spaces. It was not dented in any way so the shipment arrived in good shape.

I poured one over ice to see how it compared to other drinks. I was less than thrilled with it. It tasted flat, lacking the fizz that soda pop has and the diet sweetener aftertaste is still in my mouth after finishing most of the can.

Since I had stopped drinking Coke and Pepsi years ago I often miss that flavor and kick that the carbonation provides but this ain’t it. I do love the Celsius Orange and my new favorite is their Peach Vibe without a doubt.

The products are fun and not overpowering in flavor like some of the fitness drinks can be. This was not close enough to coke for me to try it again. Back to the Peach Vibe for this girl. Thanks for the thought, I know this could be a good flavor with a little more work guys.

Honestly celisus has come along way since it first hit the fitness scene. The Peach Mango is definitely one point flavor wise. With only 200mg of caffeine it’s a decent to good jolt of energy depending on your tolerance level.

In my opinion it is 1 of my top 4 flavors. If you like peach and mangos you owe it to yourself to try. It’s definitely not a pre-workout strength but if you want a decent to good pick me up drink before a run or fitness activity you should try it.

Make sure you check out the JBL Connect App before purchasing this speaker. The JBL App does very little. The Ultimate Ears and Bose Apps are much better. Their Apps have very useful and important speaker control functions.

You can turn their speakers on/off, adjust the volume and even set your EQ preferences from their Apps. In other words, their Apps essentially lets your phone or pad become a remote control. The JBL App does none of this.

Think about how you will use these speaker. If you only use it for audio from your phone or pad, the shortcomings of the JBL App are no problem. But if you will use the speaker for other devices such as a TV, the JBL App shortcomings become a major hassle.

Unless the speaker is within arms length of you, every time you want to turn it off/on or adjust the volume you have to go over to the speaker to make the change. If I’m relaxing watching my TV, I don’t want to have to jump up to go over to the speaker to make the adjustment.

In looking at a ‘class’ of speakers, there is little noticeable difference in audio sound quality between most brands of Bluetooth speakers (almost all produce fully acceptable sound quality). I think this especially true of similar featured (priced) speakers from Bose, JBL and Ultimate Ears.

Therefore, this shouldn’t be a major factor in your decision on which to buy. The decision really comes down to convenience, features and how you plan to use the speaker. Due to the shortcomings of the the JBL App, I will no longer purchase JBL Bluetooth speakers.

I will stick with the brands that give me more remote control functions like Bose and Ultimate Ears.

I own both a Red Flip 5 and a Black Flip 4. Why? I need to do a classroom presentation from my iPad connected to a portable Apeman projector via a HDMI adapter & cable. (See photo) The problem is the HDMI cable routes both video & audio.

The Apeman has a very small speaker inadequate for a small classroom. But it has an AUX audio out port! – That’s the reason I bought the Flip 4. It has the AUX audio input port. The Flip 5 does not. I find both have fantastic sound quality & great portability but the Flip 4 suits the need for my presentation audio.

For just Bluetooth from a device both are fantastic.

The tires that fit my vehicle include 4 tires listed as Michelin Latitude Tour including the one that came with the vehicle when new. There are also 3 tires with a slight increase in price on each one, called Michelin Latitude Tour HP.

The one that costs the least ( by about $11 a tire) has a treadwear rating of 440 and the most expensive one is rated at 400. There is also a slight weight increase from about 32. 68 lbs to 34. 28 lbs ( extra weight means the engine must work slightly harder to turn the tire).

The Michelin Latitude Tour HPs all have treadwear guarantees around 90,000 kms and the factory installed Michelin Latitude Tour tire has a treadwear rating of 600 ( higher number should mean longer tread life but is a manufacturer rating) and a tread guarantee of 110,000 kms.

I have never gotten the kms of the guarantee on any tire and usually half of that. I check my tire presure at least once ever couple weeks or when temperatures change by more than 10 degrees celcius and I rotate the tires every 5000 to 8000 kms.

I drive like a grandpa with no quick starts, heavy braking or highspeed turns I’m okay with getting 55-60K out of a tire because Michelins that I buy are quiet ( except near the end of their tread life) handle well, and I get better than the fuel mileage that the vehicle is rated for by about 1 mpg on the hwy.

My sister got me the flip 4 for 2020 Christmas and I fell I love with the speakers. I got two of these a month later and I can say I am enormously impressed with the sound. Amazing sterior for such small and portable speakers, and of course JBL delivered on the powerful bass that shakes my walls even from these little things.

Although I am not impressed with the durability or the app. Probably one of the worst capable apps ever, but at least they have one and it works okay. I bought the first pair (refurbished) and almost immediately I had distortion and crackling and sizzling sounds like the speakers broke.

I returned those and got a second pair off of amazon (brand new) and they did the same thing. I just decided to deal with it and now they only do it occasionally. they still produce fantastic sound and I am glad to have them, but probably not worth the money for what I got.

I also bout these as a VERY cheap home theater system when I first got them, terrible idea. Horrible audio lag and I tried to fix it so many times but it just happens with everything. don’t buy these to watch anything, only good for listening.

I got a very high end Bose system instead and it works fabulously, but I think I’ll get a second JBL home theater system because of price and they still work great. Last few things. I have used these in my shower with me a couple hundred times, they still work fanominally.

not water damage and they still play just as loud as before. (they are not under a direct stream of water). Finally, I love the JBL connect plus feature. sometimes it acts up but most the time it connects the two charge 4’s and my flip 4 and they work completely synchronously.

I love it. Overall, amazing sound, base, stereo, and even surround if you place them correctly in you environment. Very disappointed with the frequent distortion and broken sounds.

I was visiting my son from overseas back in November of 2021 he has the JBL5 I use to listen to music while cooking and dance which I enjoy veryuch! I loved my son’s JBL speaker so clear and so loud just the way I like it, So I decided to get one for myself before going back home.

Once I visited the JBL site I realized that I could design my own speaker! Very nice I thought first they give u all these options but in reality u can’t choose everything they are offering just the design they have picked! I did the pink and green that looked like a big watermelon! I like it.

No problem. Once I ordered my speaker didn’t realize that will arrive a day before my travels! No problem. It arrived just a day before my travels like I was expecting it. I was happy untill I opened the box and realized there is no charger that comes with my new speaker!!! Then the sound it is so poor not like the one my son has very disappointed!!! I had the volume high on my phone and had the volume on the speaker as much high as I could have it, but it’s not loud it’s not even anything I don’t know how to describe it I had no time to return the speaker and get a different one! Oh wait! U can’t.

I realized that I wouldn’t be able to return the speaker because it’s special order since I designed the speaker!!! I was so unhappy and disappointed, but had no choice. I am now home and have compered my new JBL speaker with an old speaker that I had bought a year ago from Amazon for $19 believe it or not my old one is much louder and more clear than this JBL that I paid $140 something for.

Please save your money and not purchase this speaker very disappointing specially for the price! I’m overseas and have no way of reaching JBL, but I hope this review would help others from purchasing this speaker.

I want this company to know that I was truly excited to get my new speaker to take home with me and listen to music as loud as I like while I’m cooking and dance, but u killed it for me! I really like an explanation from ur company! Would it be possible that got a bad speaker? Or this is the sound that one should expect out of this model speaker!.

JBL Charge 4 sounds great! The sound is full, rich, excellent refined bass, clear mids and top end. I also have a Bose Soundlink Mini II. It also sounds good but not as realistic as the JBL. The JBL sound is just bigger, clearer and more realistic in every dimension.

I find I’m using it every chance I get. I bought the JBL Charge 4 to replace my computer desktop speakers. Same money way more utility in a Bluetooth capable unit. It has a 3. 5mm auxiliary input jack to the computer.

The cable link provides better sound quality and I can tweak the sound with an equalizer in the PC. The sound is much better from the computer than from my phone’s Bluetooth when streaming music. The source of the music and quality of the recording are critical to how the unit will sound for you.

I play this unit at low volumes for background music while working and even at low volumes you can here all the music from the bass to the treble. When a good song comes on crank it up a little and it sounds great.

It also works very well for webinars and ZOOM calls. These are MP3 files I’m playing. I play all kinds of music, Joe Cocker, Nora Jones to Allan Jackson to Mozart and it is great for all of it. Acoustic guitar and piano sounds especially good.

There is one speaker and two passive radiators. You can’t tell it has only one speaker. The advantage is that one larger speaker is more capable of a bigger, wider range of sound. No replacement for displacement.

The unit will easily fill a living room with music when friends are over. Put it closer to a wall and that amplifies the base and sound. In summary this is a great unit, the best I’ve heard from a wide range during my research.

i seriously love this stuff—maybe a little bit too much. i was skeptical upon purchase as i’ve tried other electrolyte powders and absolutely hated them (always were overly salty), but this was a happy surprise.

i really enjoy this flavor, too. it’s light but just sweet enough to mask the saltiness. i would say the amount of saltiness present is that of a gatorade, for comparison. most importantly, i have noticed a change in my hydration level.

due to a prescription medication i take, i am prone to dry mouth. no matter how much water i seemed to drink, my mouth remained dry. i started drinking two of these a day and i haven’t struggled with dry mouth since.

definitely worth giving a try. i know the price is intimidating but, to me, it’s worth it. also, it’s worth noting that i am no longer craving soda as i normally would; i am assuming it’s due to the sweetness of the powder.

We usually don’t buy poptarts but this was offered on Ibotta for free. Walmart doesn’t carry many flavors of the small boxed Kelloggs poptarts so we chose cinnamon. It has a good flavor and we actually like them warmed up with vanilla ice cream.

We did notice Kelloggs has less frosting coverage. It seems very precisely centered and that’s great but we like the almost edge to edge on the ones we normally buy. I do think the frosting on Kelloggs is a bit creamier because others are drier and flakes like a hard royal icing.

With tastes being the same, not sure poptarts gives us enough reason to spend the extra money. If there were new unique flavors we could only get with poptarts or maybe some healthier option with poptarts (like whole grain pastry and no high fructose corn syrup, non gmo, etc) then kelloggs would pull ahead.

I do like the “free breakfast” incentive on the box as a nice bonus, though. You can’t go wrong buying poptarts and they are a fine brand.

As a collective class my students and I have decided to give this Pop-Tart a score of 4 out of 5 stars. The box description is very appealing, although a bit misleading. The frosting doesn’t extend out to the perimeter as advertised, but this was only a minor setback.

We decided to warm up our tarts via a convection oven in order to establish an equal heat to tart ratio. Once we popped our tarts out of the toaster, we were met with a delectable eroma comparable to a doughnut shop.

We took our first bite which tasted very similar to the Boston Creme flavor. One of my students, who has never cared for Boston Creme doughnuts thought it was delicious, another thought it tasted a bit “chemically”.

In conclusion we believe that this tart should in fact be in the top 15 Pop-Tarts of all time, which Tart to replace it with, we are still undecided.

I haven’t had Pop-Tarts in years because I can never find the unfrosted varieties in stores, and as a vegetarian/vegan I don’t want the frosted ones, which contain gelatin. My husband was reminiscing about Pop-Tarts and I decided to check online.

Amazon has them for an INSANE price, but luckily Walmart was way more reasonable. I know unfrosted flavors are in limited supply but I’m only willing to spend so much on junk food. I gave them to my husband as a Valentine’s gift lol.

They are so delicious, they don’t even need the frosting! Brought me right back to childhood! Hopefully the other flavors will come back in stock!.

This is my first Marmot tent, which replaced my MSR Elixir 2 because I needed something a little roomier (Thermarest NeoAir Topo Lux takes up more than half the width of an Elixir tent) but without sacrificing too much extra weight.

I have a slightly older 2021 model (easy on the eyes green on green). Mine is impressively light (2. 65 kg) for its size due to the mesh, and the inner space is luxurious. The vertical walls make it easy to move around in, and at 5’9″, we still have about a foot of space at our feet for gear.

My partner and I took take this kayak camping on a ten day excursion recently where it endured 65km gusts and heavy rain. We had to use guy-lines to help maintain its shape in the high winds but it has loops made for this reason.

It held up incredibly well and surprisingly, we didn’t feel too much of the wind despite our exposure, and it stayed completely dry in west coast rainforest downpours. The asymmetrical doors on mine emphasize a particular end of the tent is designed for your head, and pockets inside were designed to be on the same size.

It suffers from a lack of a mesh gear loft to throw small light items into, so you’d have to come up with something yourself. The vestibules are just large enough for us to have three large IKEA bags (each!) with our gear under them.

Disappointingly, the central hook at the outside top of the tent which attaches to the poles and allows the brow pole to slide through broke in half. Without a carabiner that I had on hand, this would’ve created a problem in keeping the dome shape and securing the third pole.

In my opinion, this is a design flaw as it should not be made of plastic. I’ve had other tents that has lasted literally decades (MEC brand) where nothing broke under heavy use. I see Marmot just released a newer version of this Tungsten tent which replaces some mesh with nylon (increased weight to 2.

85kg), a symmetrical door shape but unfortunately still using the same plastic sewn in central clip. Take my advice and if you buy this tent, add a small two inch carabiner (as pictured) in the stake bag in case this clip breaks on you too.

Overall, a great tent with room for improvements on inner pockets, an included mesh gear loft for the price, and a stronger centre clip.

I’ve used this tent in spring, summer, and fall of 2021 on the Canadian Shield (mostly BWCAW) for about 8 total weeks of use. The tent saw extreme rain, freezing cold, and intense heat. I have owned several tents of similar size over the past 30+ years, so this is not my first rodeo.

Here are my observations: 1. This is truly an ultralight tent–it requires a little bit of white-gloving, so to speak, to prevent damage. I replaced a much heavier 3-person tent with the Tungsten UL 3P, so I was a bit surprised at how easily the materials of this tent can be damaged from innocuous things like swatting a mosquito against the inner wall (don’t do it!).

It caused the mesh wall to warp badly, but fortunately no holes (yet). The materials are good quality, but not made for any sort of abuse, period. 2. Tent has decent ventilation but still suffers from condensation issues.

On a typical cool night (temps in 30s – 40s), I found it was impossible to prevent water condensation that forms on the poles and top panels, sometimes so bad that it drips on you while you are sleeping, leading me to believe the tent wasn’t waterproof until I carefully examined it and realized it is strictly condensate, not leakage.

I’ve tried leaving the doors open and even not using the fly, but still have had issues with condensate. In one extreme situation, I pitched the tent on a campsite that later flooded about 2″ deep after two days of non-stop monsoon-like rain in the BWCAW.

I had standing water in the tent, ~80% due to condensation dripping back in the tent and through the mesh walls–~20% due to splashing through the lower mesh walls (floor did not leak at all, amazingly).

So much water came in that I had to bail the tent with a cooking pot after day two. Fortunately my pad was thick enough to keep me and my down quilt above water. To be fair, this wasn’t so much a design issue, instead it was the ~10″ of rain that fell over 48 hours, along with 40 mph winds and plenty of lightning and thunder.

I hope to never experience this situation again, but the tent held up reasonably well–no leaks or damages in the materials. It simply wasn’t designed for this type of abuse–frankly, few if any tents are.

That said, my old tent, of much heavier nylons, withstood storms like this much better than this tent does–of course, it weighed more than double what this tent weighs. 3. Very easy to set up and take down.

I can thoroughly stake and guy the tent+fly in less than 5 minutes if I hustle. That’s half the time my old tent required to set up. A nice bonus when the black clouds are bearing down on you in the middle of the wilderness.

4. For its weight, the floor space is generous, makes it easy to take a lot of gear/clothes/etc in the tent without interfering with the sleeping space for two people. Never tried fitting three in the tent–I’m sure it is doable, but would be extremely cramped and no additional gear would fit.

For a 3P, this tent has more space than most. 5. Excellent vestibule design–one is larger than the other side, and both sides are steep walls, which means you can fit multiple big and tall packs easily.

A huge improvement from my old tent! That said, the steep walls contribute extra space but make zipping the fly doors shut quite a pain, as you have to lean way out of the tent to do so. This means 100s of mosquitos, black flies, no see-ums, and other insects can easily get in if you crash at dusk like I usually do.

6. The flaws. there are a few, mainly having to due with rain/condensation resistance. To save weight, the mesh goes almost all the way to the floor–this allows rain to splash off the ground from outside the fly right into the mesh.

Not an issue for a quick storm, but a major issue for prolonged rain, where you will get a lot of water coming through. If it wasn’t for the large floor space that gives room to move things away from the edges, this would be a deal-breaker for me (see above).

I have a hard time faulting the tent for this, as it was a clear weight-saving decision in the design and one that I should have been more aware of when I purchased. If you are going to camp in extreme rain situations, this is not the right tent, period.

For all other 3-season conditions, including light-to-moderate rain, it is a great choice. 7. My lower back loves this tent. Incredibly light for its size! Carrying 50+ LB packs across many miles of portages makes the trade-offs for the UL design (see above) fully worth it.

8. This tent is not for freezing cold nights. Should be obvious, but if you are the type that easily gets cold at night, consider a heavier tent model. If you sleep warm like I do, this tent is tolerable in 20-30 degree F conditions.

Where the tent really shines is 90+ degree F weather–it breathes really well and dissipates heat better than any other I’ve used. 9. I recommend this tent for non-buggy sites in all but the heaviest of rain situations.

It is versatile, well thought out, quick to deploy, truly lightweight, has excellent vestibules, and is made from completely waterproof materials. Just consider yourself warned about the effects of heavy rain storms and thick clouds of biting insects.

Every tent is nothing but a bunch of trade-offs, so don’t expect the world from something that only weighs a little over 3 LBs. If you know you will be in extreme conditions, this is probably not the tent for you.

I look forward to another year of use in 2022 and at that same time, I do wonder how long the materials will last. My previous primary nylon tent lasted me 22 years, this one will thrill me if I get 5+, but I require the lower weight.

So far, mission accomplished!.

Still new to this tent, but it performed well on the first two outings. It is very light. Excellent room for two and still within a reasonable backpacking weight budget. I purchased the footprint and recommend you do too.

We split up with 42oz for the body and fly and 34. 5oz for the poles, footprint, stakes, guy cord and repair kit. Fly pitches tightly if you stake out the side between the doors. The vents are a nice feature however I deducted one star because the reinforcement patch on one of them had unraveling stitches on the second setup.

I will send it in for warranty repair, which I’m sure Marmot will support, but if the repair lead time is long I may fix this myself. The green strikes me as an odd color – almost faded in the pictures, but in the field it’s a pleasant color that blends in well with surroundings without being impossible to see.

The fly has bits of reflective material that serve well to guide you back from a late-night bio break. Zippers are fine gauge and somewhat fiddly but I had no problem when the tent is pitched tautly.

Setup is quite easy, although I’d strongly prefer if the two main poles were permanently joined at the intersection. The pole clips seem functional but I expect they would break if I accidentally stepped on one I have not yet had it out in the rain, but with the fly pitched fully taut I see no reason to get wet inside.

The seam sealing appears to be good quality. It has ample ventilation with the full mesh tent body.
