So glad I gave these a try! Keep me sucked in, they never need pulling up or adjusting, even when jumping rope or doing burpees, nice & opaque (some of my workout leggings have a real sheen to them).

The waist doesn’t pinch either. They’re perfect. I’ve bought 3 pairs, then they sold out. I’m tempted to get a fourth pair in case these disappear. They’re a slightly thicker material – not as thin as some capris I have from a popular yoga gear brand, so I don’t wear them on hot days, but they’re definitely fine for just everyday workouts.

Note that I have several capris from said yoga brand, and I prefer these. They fit pretty true to size, I wear size 8 in “that” yoga brand & the mediums are perfect.

Buyer BEWARE!! Even though it says 20 x 25 x 4 it is NOT the same size as the Honeywell 20 x 25 x 4, and may not fit in the AC unit you have. I purchased a completely new AC unit last fall and purchased these in advance so I wouldn’t have to worry about it again for 2 years.

Thus, I did not realize my mistake until I had my annual summer check up. The technician pulled out my current filter and this one and showed me how the size is about an inch off and if he tried to use these in my unit, it would fall over the moment the air turned on.

Because of the delay in this mistake, I can not return them. I would only purchase this product if you currently have MERV AC filters in your home. This is NOT the same size as Honeywell.

Had my first one for probably ten years and wore it out, so I’m replacing it with the same converter. The Audacity program included may be v. 2, I haven’t checked, but a v. 3 is out. The 2 will do fine.

It allows you to edit the tape and put labels on each track.

Well it was time for a new odor scrubber. My crop was getting to be strong smelling. I replaced a carbon scrubber wth this brand new unit and it was stronger than the old unit. Very disappointed. I don’t want the hassle of sending it back so I use t in my new double filter setup! No odor now.

Advice. look for a better unit. This one stinks. Two thumbs down.

This filter worked phenomenally when paired with a 6 inch duct fan. The flange is removable so you get extra value in being able to replace the carbon yourself instead of replacing the whole unit. Am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Have gotten 1 month run time on it so far.

Not the quality of filtering Id hope it would have. Whole house smelled of patchouly. Wife loved it. Me , not so much.

I have had the ‘Toms Aquarium Mr. Cleaner Gravel Cleaner’ for a week or so before I used it for the first time, today. I was Impressed!. My six inch ‘Black Shark’ creates a lot of ‘detritus’ / ‘waste / that does not get drawn into my ‘Emperor 400 Bio Wheel’, and accumulates in the corners of my 30 gallon, long, aquarium.

Having read a review somewhere, where the commentator pointed out that the ‘slots’ at the bottom on the Intake Tube could be too, tall, to function efficiently, depending on the depth of one’s aquarium’s gravel.

The first thing I did after receiving my ‘Toms Aquarium Mr. Cleaner Gravel Cleaner’ was to wrap a rectangular piece of plastic, (cut from the plastic of the packaging), around the outside of the Bottom of the Intake Tube, snug enough to be able to slide it up and down, and also, allowing it to remain in a set position, and then, secure its ends with clear packaging tape.

This allows adjustment for depth of gravel, and the power of the suction. I did find when I put too, much down pressure when vacuming that I did slide the Intake Tube to a shorter length. I replaced the Filter Sock Unit with a hose and used my ‘Toms Aquarium Mr.

Cleaner Gravel Cleaner’ to remove water to do a Water Change. So, for, after this first use I found ‘Toms Aquarium Mr. Cleaner Gravel Cleaner’ to be Economical, Work Very, Well, Handy and be of Good Quality.

Like Littermaid Receptacle comment: Good product for our fur baby bathroom and help not have to deal with cleaning everyday, especially if we are away for more than a day. Only place that carries them as we got machine from our parents as way to help us out.

However, our cat tends to go to one exact corner every time she has to go to bathroom, leaving one side of receptacle full seems like and have to use putty knife to clean up and non-solid matter from time to time.

Don’t know why other than she’s ornery and is crazy lol. So I have to move things over to other side to even things out plus clean up any litter she leave behind. Sometimes hard to take old one out and put new, clean one in but does its job for most pay.

Just wish our cat would have “better manners” in using a bathroom or we got her as baby kitten early on to try & “potty train her accordingly. ” Wish that Filters and Receptacle could be in a bundle instead of separate when buying so that it’s not as expensive at times.

I saw the ratings ranging from mediocre to negative and had to weigh in. I’m an AVID aquarist with a basement full of tanks. This product, dollar for dollar, is the BEST aquarium product I’ve ever bought and I’ve got just about everything out there! I’m not exaggerating! In fact I always keep a backup because it’s that indispensable to my fish room! But.

you can’t use it as designed! The little bag attachment doens’t work very well because as others have said it’s too small. So here’s what you do. You use it in conjunction with a bucket, a fine mesh net and some tubing.

It comes with a little black adapter that you can put on the slot where the bag attaches. Put that adapter on and you can now put tubing on it, I believe it takes 1/2″ tubing. You set the fine mesh net on top of the bucket and then use clothespins to keep it there.

put the end of the tube into the net and again make sure the tubing stays in place by clipping it to the bucket. Then put the cleaner in your aquarium and go to town. If you’re doing a water change you can just skip the net and go straight in the bucket.

If you’re just cleaning up the tank when the bucket fills rinse the net out in a sink, dump the clean bucket of water back in the tank and repeat until you’re happy. I’ve found this to work wonders! Actually, after doing this for a while I took it a step further and I’ve got a 10 foot section of small PVC pipe inside of a 10 foot section of large PVC pipe with an elbow on the end.

I put the elbow into my sump in the basement and I have the tubing from this product duct taped into the small PVC pipe. So in other words I can use this product as a siphon and gravel vac pretty much anywhere within 20 feet of my sump! This has made water changes so much easier for me!.

Bought this as a downgrade option for my u450. Works great! To use, just discard the plastic cartridge from old filter and cut carbon filter to size using old filter. Place carbon filter in, then hepa filter, then outter dust filter from cartridge–good to go!.

The directions for installation were completely inadequate. They did NOT clarify that only ONE carbon filter should be installed at a time. Nor that each carbon filter needs to be replaced after three months.

Horrendous. My wife bought one of these to switch from a Britta pitcher due to better filtration. Now, my typical “water flow” is to fill the LifeStraw container and dispense water into 1L Sodastream bottles for carbonating.

Below are the problems I would run into, which previously took me all of 15 seconds with a Britta pitcher. First of all, the dispenser container is only a little over one foot deep. That means it doesn’t touch the back wall of our kitchen counter if out of the refrigerator– And doesn’t touch the back of our refrigerator if inside it.

Wouldn’t be a problem if the product was heavy enough so that when pushing the water dispensing button the container stayed in place. Not the case. When pushing the dispensing button, unless completely, to-the-brim full of water, you will push the entire container backwards while dispensing a trickle of water– Because it’s too light to withstand the force of pushing the button.

And now you have water spillage as well, just for trying. Perfectly maddening. This then results in Greco-Roman wrestling attempts to find your handling on the container to both keep it in place and dispense water.

Add double difficulty if this is in your fridge and it keeps sliding back within the confines of your shelves. Half a star for inventing a unique torture method. As for when the water actually dispenses, even at full capacity– It is very slow.

It takes just over a minute to fill a 1L Sodastream bottle. I promise you, it feels like an eternity. Another half star for forcibly teaching me a lesson in patience. In addition to that, after refilling the dispenser to the top, the cover barely seals, and thus almost always guaranteeing some spillage of your new water as it filters if you are moving it back to a fridge or just away from the edge of your sink.

Sure, it’s a problem with refilling any water filter device, but now you don’t even get a handle to transport it. You just get to spill water on yourself and your floor as you move a slippery Dell desktop sized container away from your sink.

Also, bear in mind where you will be using it. We have a horizontal split fridge, and thus if we keep it inside (the bottom half), it results in 30-60 second long squats to refill glasses or bottles.

That’s on us, but I feel like a faster stream would make this complain null. I guess at least now we’re getting some squats in. Tl’dr ; this container is a micro-plastic filtering torture device, go with the pitcher to alleviate woes.

Last year I bought 2 dispensers because we wanted to filter the tap before putting it through the distiller for our humidifier as well as for our own drinking. Taste: I personally didn’t like the taste at first compared to the Brita, but eventually came anround.

And compared to a Samsung fridge dispenser I prefer the fridge taste – but that isn’t as healthy. Speed of Filtration: It’s really slow at first and when you replace filters. Just be patient. Fill it up, walk away for 30 minutes, come back to it and fill again.

Overfill/Spilling: Try and make sure when you are filling the filters you don’t over fill. I don’t mean past the max fill line in the filter part. I mean overall. Sometimes I will fully fill up the filter housing portion when my dispenser is too full to hold all of it.

I’ll walk away from a dry counter and come back to it being flooded. I truly don’t understand how it forces water through the filter past capacity, but it does. That extra water flows out of the little cut out handle parts and floods the counter.

So be careful and mindful! Dispensing Speed: It depends. At full and half full, it takes about 30 seconds to fill up my 1 L water bottle. The lower the water level the slower it is. We’ve started just taking the filter compartment off and dumping the filtered water into a pitcher for faster filling of other things if we’re doing a lot at once or for the distiller.

Replacing Filters: Is honestly a bit of a pain just because of how snugly everything fits together. I don’t have the best grip strength though so it may be easier for stronger people. The carbon is not that bad but the membrane is the tricky one.

Good thing you only have to replace that every 6 months! Why I knocked off the star: The dispensing speed can be really annoying. While we came up with a solution, having to pull apart my dispenser and dump the water into a separate container is more work than I should honestly have to do.

If you are using normal sized cups and bottles you likely won’t be bothered by it. I just have 5-7 1L water bottles I need fill everyday between my partner and I. The second point, we are nearing a year since purchase and start of use (it is mid Oct 2022 and we got them mid Nov 2021) they are LEAKING! The dispenser tab/switch is leaking/dripping.

It started earlier this month with one of them and I managed to get it to stop by gently pushing the bottom of the button back in. But that no longer works and both units are leaking/dripping. We have to have them both sitting over the sink now which is not very convenient.

I’m not sure if there is some build up (because there was on the underside of the dispenser lip) in the mechanism that’s causing the dripping? I’m really hoping I don’t have to purchase 2 whole new units.

I don’t mind filter costs but if I have to replace the whole dispenser every year that’s really costly and wasteful, especially from a company trying to change stuff like that. Overall: I do love these dispensers.

My gripes come from using them SO MUCH and if you use them a more normal amount I doubt you will have the issues I do.

The pitcher wasn’t what I expected. I’m mostly disappointed with the customer service and lack of any sort of return/ exchange policy that makes sense. I could have easily purchased this through a standard big box retailer with great return policies, but decided to purchase directly through LifeStraw to support the business directly.

What a mistake. Returns and exchanges are apparently only honored for completely unused merchandise can’t possibly make sense for a water pitcher. One has to reasonably fill it with water in order to test it.

Although a great looking product, the 10 cup pitcher is so heavy and ergonomically challenging to use. I have guests visit that can’t use my pitcher, only to put it down and ask me to pour them some water.

How can this make any sense? Such a shame. I wanted to exchange the product to try out the 7 cup pitcher, but I’m not interested in sinking any more money into this company. Stay away and don’t make the same mistake I did.

That, or go ahead and support a Big box store so that you get the security to change your mind.

I use this in a pump in an outdoor fish tank (put in mesh bags). Does super job keeping water clear and you can change it as needed at a reasonable cost.

I think this product is OK. I bought the un-assembly filter cartrides and of course I have to buy extra carbon since they barely give enough carbon and the pellet that came along with the box was small.

This product had bigger pellet and maybe it can work better. So far so good when I put some of this exxtra carbon into my filter cartride.

I highly recommend activated carbon to help clear up the water. I put some in the auxiliary filter cartridge of my Penguin Emperor within two days the yellowish water cleared up, I highly recommend this product, the price here is very low compared to other places even with the shipping cost.

Perfect replacement for the Winix unit I have at home. Do not buy the generic ones from Amazon. They either do not fit correctly and/or you don’t know what filter material really is. This one is the original brand and equipment.

I never write reviews. But buyers should be aware that even though these are from Winix, the three carbon filters are not honeycomb filters like the original one supplied with the unit. Instead these are three solid sheets of foam, about 1/4 inch thick.

I really love my air cleaners. They work super well to keep allergens down and also keep down dust. I change filters about every 3 moths and they are just filled with yucky stuff. Who would have known that was in the air we are breathing.

My only wish is that they were always the same size. Sometimes the filters are really thick – and, those don’t fit into my unit as well as the ones with regular thickness. I never use the tablets or air freshener because I have asthma.

Those items from the box get thrown out with the wrapping. We utilize the filters only and have 1 unit upstairs in the laundry and the other downstairs in the living area.

It asks to honestly review this product. So I must say i like it a lot. It’s worth the price and it’s good. Would recommend giving it a try so that you could review it too. Honestly I think it could be a little bit cheaper but I get why it’s not.

This is falls in the category of “one of the best thing since slice bread” It does not take long to heat up and no longer after it does, the entire area is bursting with the fragrance that actually lingers after it is turned off/ plugged out.

I can’t help but recommend this to my friends. It does what it is suppose to do.

I was totally unaware there were size differences & got these instead of the small ones my tank uses But being inventive I turned 3 of these into 9 for my little tank!! My mistake was a lucky thing!

Fluval is a great brand, and this is the best price I’ve seen anywhere for these refills. Got them to freshen up the Fluval canister filter I use on my 46-g turtle tank. 🙂

These filters work well for my turtle! Will be re-buying from chewy every time I need more!

I love my TruSens Large Air Purifier, however. the carbon filter—which the promotional materials say will last 3-4 months—lasted just over 1 month. I received and set up my machine on 9/19/20 – the red “replace me” light for the carbon filter went on 11/3/20.

I am a bit disappointed, as buying this thing was a big expenditure for me. Perhaps it is needing replacement so soon because of the WA, CA, OR, BC Canada fires that were smoking up the air when I first got it.

We’ll see how long the replacement carbon filter lasts. My recommendation to others: Buy the HEPA filter, carbon filter, and UV bulb replacements when you purchase your purifier. It takes the company longer than reasonable to receive your replacements.

I had to replace the carbon layer for the first time. I was nervous about it but it was very easy. I ordered the filter and had it replaced in a couple of minutes, including cleaning the outer grey filter layer.

The only mistake I made is that I ordered 2 packages (because I have 2 filters) but each package includes 3 replacement filters.

Honestly febreze true air replacement filter is good product. It s very nice smell. They smell good and they leave your house smelling. It’s odour good last longer.

I chose this water dispenser because it’s one of few that filter out micro-plastics. I’ve had the filter for less than a year and so far the top sliding lid has broken off twice and I’ve had to ask for a replacement.

The plastic track is so flimsy it just breaks apart from traction use when I only fill up the filter 2-3 times a week. The dispenser is difficult to use and it leaks. I’ve had Brita filters that offer a fast flow of water from the dispenser to your cup.

This takes double the time and hurts your finger to use. The way it’s designed, after you use it to dispense water it leaks and collects water in the dispenser causing a pink bacteria colony to collect right where the water comes out.

I had to clean mine with a q-tip as the cleaning instructions don’t say anything about how to clean the dispenser portion. I was really looking forward to this dispenser but disappointed with the defects in design for the cost of the product, I wish the company would create something better (maybe look into how other home dispensers line up and where lifestraw lacks).

Was looking for a compost for the longest time that was sanitary and wouldn’t attract bugs. Bamboozle is amazing! No smell, no bugs, and looks great on my kitchen counter 🙂 I will definitely continue to buy my filters from here & recommend to friends!.

These filters are Bambozzle brand and fit my composter perfectly. I needed to replace the original filter as it was damaged.
