Great quality and truck sits nicely as advertised. Only issues experienced were that the front diff passenger side u bolt plate holes did not fit the bigger diameter u bolts supplied in your kit. This took time to get the holes enlarged.

Would be nice to have the unbolt plates supplied in the kit.

Good price. Ok product. For 700 dollars and 69 for shipping and my springs arrive with no packaging,thrown in the floor of a ups truck. Chipped all over,scratched to bare metal. Going on show truck after i touch upBRAND NEW SPRINGS! Come on! Really? Cant even wrap or box them? Poor packaging and shipping.

This was one of the worst products I have purchased for my scout, no direction on installation , parts not correct , terrible pkging. Save your money purchase a better product!

No-Drill fender flares were installed then a 2. 5” front leveling kit and a 2” rear lift kit was installed. Dimensions were taken from a flat level floor through the center of the front and rear hubs up to the bottom of the aftermarket fender flares.

Front dimension before the lift was 36. 125” (36 1/8). Front dimension after the lift was 38. 75” (38 ¾). The overall increase to the front was 2. 625” (2 5/8). Rear dimension before the lift was 38.

25” (38 ¼). Rear dimension after the lift was 40. 25” (40 ¼). The overall increase to the rear was 2. 0”. The stock rake put the front at 2. 125” (2 1/8) lower than the rear. After the lift, the rake now put the front 1.

5” lower than the rear. For the rear, dry fit the new U bolts and trim them to a more appropriate length. The replacement bolts are ridiculously long and you will not be able to use a socket to tighten them all the way.

I ran a deep socket as far as I could and then had to finish the install with a wrench.

Product came in good packaging. No instructions but it’s pretty cut and dry and plenty of install videos on the website. Installation was easy with common hand tools, a deep well impact socket and impact gun makes it easier.

However, the fine threaded U-Bolts are easy to cross thread the nut onto, as well as installing the U-Bolts over the saddle and springs you can damage the soft fine threads. Would like to see course thread as that is what comes OEM.

I cut off the excess threads when finished so a deep well socket could be used for final torquing and removal if needed.

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 and all the products were high quality, but the u bolts did not fit into the holes on the h-clamp so I ended up drilling out the holes a bit then stacking the 2 inch blocks on top of the factory 1 inch block to make it a true 2 inch lift.

Also it does not say in the instructions but be sure to have a jack under the driveshaft otherwise it will fall twisting the axle foward.

great lift and great price. my 33s don’t rub anymore. I did add boomerang shackles also but wanted to point out that shock length was 26″ inches long and the total spring drop with shackles gave me 24″ inches leaving 2 more inches of shock, if your looking for articulation.

as for the rough ride, I have to say it was much better than before. replacing a 18 year old 2. 5 inch lift with old shocks ouch. I’m 170# and jumped up and down repeatedly on the front bumper to cycle and center the new springs.

the suspension moved easily and smoothly not like a stiff suspension. after the road test I was impressed. lift looks good, cant wait to get it on the trails. even though there were no directions (like guys read direction) I would have felt better if I had some.

its not rocket science just saying. I would recommend this lift.

Good lift kit, but I had to to a LOT of adjusting and fabricating to make this thing fit. I had to grind my shock mounts down to make the new shocks fit, re-drill my leaf spring u bolt brackets because the new u bolts were too wide, drill out the lead spring bushings so the bolts would fit through them, and shave them down so they would fit in the leaf spring mount.

After I readjusted everything it fit great!.

do wee need Shims degree for the rear axel cj7 whit the 4 inch lift? Rough Country 67530

This is a great kit for the price and includes just about everything you need for the lift (and more!). In addition to the coils and shocks, the kit I received had front and rear bump stop extensions, F and R brake line drop brackets, rear sway bar links, F and R track bar brackets, rear track bar reinforcement, rear coil retainer brackets, parking brake extension bracket, a small tool bag and two passenger grab handles.

Based on the inventory sheet, i believe this is the standard contents of the kit although not fully reflected on this website. The only things i needed for my ’13 JK were longer front sway bar links (already had adjustable) and exhaust spacers.

When complete, I am sure i got a full 3. 5″ out of this on my two-door even though I have a steel front bumper and a 9. 5K winch. This was a little more than I expected and it affected my front wheel caster enough to make the steering a little light when I hit bumps or decel quickly (NOT death wobble or even remotely dangerous feeling) so I may follow-up with a control arm drop bracket to reset the front caster geometry closer to stock.

The springs are advertised as stock-like but the ride seems a little bit stiffer. (This may loosen up over time and may also be a factor of the caster issue. ) My biggest complaint with the kit is the poor instructions.

Although provided with some pictures, they are small and the markings are vague so it is often difficult to tell what they are describing. Additionally, the instructions that came with my kit had some steps that referred to the 4.

5″ kit and included parts that were not in my kit. However, despite the instruction difficulties, all the parts seemed well-made and strong and. although this is definitely not a high-end kit, I think I got a little more than I paid for.

This is probably a full day job without a lift but it took me 1 1/2 days because of the time spent trying to figure out instructions. Also, a big chunk of the time was spent trying to install the rear coil brackets which required reaching into a small opening with a nut and trying to thread the bolt and a couple of hours were consumed installing the exhaust extensions (not part of this kit) because of the difficulty reaching bolts and a lot of corrosion on my vehicle).

This kit came with almost everything needed to install a 2″ lift. I purchased this kit to replace components that had 211,000 miles on them. Needless to say the springs were sagging and the shocks were well worn.

This kit brought my TJ back to factory heights plus 2″ and the Jeep sits level. All components are good quality. One problem to mention for someone else installing this kit is that the lower control arms that were included came in two different sizes but the boxes were labeled that all four control arms were for the front suspension.

After a call to Extreme and a call to the manufacturer we found out the longer arms go on the front and shorter on the rear. Also the springs seem to be the same height from side to side and there was no guidance where to place which spring (unlike the Old Man Emu kits which have different sized springs in one kit).

The kit took one long evening and two people to install but I did have a vehicle lift available to me. I would recommend adding longer sway bar links and an adjustable front track bar at the same time you install this kit.

It really makes it easier to get back into alignment. I am running 31×10. 50×15 tires with no issues or rubbing.

I use my 02 TJ for everyday use and weekends on the beach in Cape Hatteras. I run BF 33/12. 50s , perfect for dunes, good on the street. I had a 4″ lift which was a little squirrelly on the interstate so I dropped it 2″, std.

pitman arm, kept the adjustable track arm, it now drives perfect. I don’t rock crawl or mudding so this was the best solution for me. It’s really nice to have a stable, solid driving Jeep again. Everything about the kit is great, super easy to install (with a lift), went together very quickly.

Finished my 94 YJ a while ago and am working on my 2012 JK now. All parts come from Extreme Terrain, great prices, super product!!!.

When purchasing the product I was informed it would come with everything I would need; I did not come with new straight bolts, so unless you are lifting a jeep with absolutely no rust expect to go buy new bolts separately.

I was sent 9 u-bolts of 2 different sizes and I needed 8 of 3 sizes, they were very difficult to deal with to get the right one. They do not send new u-bolt plates and the nut on the bottom of the new springs is larger than the stock springs; which forces you to ream hole, not recommended if you do not have a large drill press, or find a place to, again buy new.

On top, center of the new springs where the axle mounts the head of the bolt is larger than stock, I had to cut the old springs apart to make spacers to compensate. If you have access to a small shop and are relatively hand you can make it work but if you don’t have access to a shop I do not recommend this kit.

Nice lift for someone looking to replace their 20 year old factory springs, you can’t beat the price. Yielded 2. 25″ of lift on my 1995 yj. I have the 2. 5 liter, and it seems that the front sits a little high, about 3/8 to 1/2 inch.

I don’t think it would be an issue with the heavier 4. 0L, I am hoping that when I add my winch that it levels out a little better. If not I will level with slightly longer rear shackles. All the hardware and springs were labeled made in the USA.

That is an important plus, since this is one of the lowest price suspension lifts on the market. The large U-bolts came up a little tight and needed some bending to fit properly. Otherwise the install was straight forward with good instructions.

Plan for about a 6 hour job and have a good helper available for positioning the axles on the springs. The appearance once installed is pleasing without looking too radical. If you like the factory look, you will not be disappointed.

Handling on the road was vastly improved over my old worn out springs. I find myself taking corners faster with more confidence then ever before. Off-roading is much less jarring then bottoming out on the old sagged springs.

I rated as average, since it is not a large enough lift for any serious crawling. Their is a slight bit more driveline vibration, though it seems very minor. Overall I am very satisfied. A nice mild lift, for a very mild price.

For the money THIS ready lift is a okay choice, most are a great value and work great. Really most of their stuff is really good but when it comes to this specific kit you can do a lot better. It’s a solid kit but the falcon shocks are pretty bad.

Solid axles do not ride the best to start and putting these on your Jeep JL will make it much worse. I purchased the kit to put on a JL Rubicon riding on 38 x 13. 50 R 18’s (Patagonia MT’s 30 PSI). After several customer service emails asking spring rates and trying to figure out why it felt like it was riding directly on the axle I had to give up after two different guys totally ignored that part of my email twice.

I guess its a secret and they don’t want anyone to know actual rates of the kit. So I had to gamble and assume it wasn’t the springs and I upgraded the shocks to fox 2. 0 Reservoir all around. HUGE difference.

My JL went from a wagon from the 1800’s to a stock like great ride. Seriously on falcons your jeep will ride like a rice rocket from fast and the furious around town. Not kidding. So again so far the kit has been okay but I had to spend another $2k to make it ride right.

Honestly you can do better and Readylift needs to end the falcon relationship. Maybe the Falcon’s are better now but a lot of people don’t think so. They’re made well. just ride like really harsh. Better for a sports car on a road course or maybe high speed off-road with big hits.

For trails they are trash. Also if I’m honest the bushings are wearing prematurely as well. I”m only a year or so in and I’m seeing cracking and issues already popping up. Not worth it IMO. By the way I’ve had more than 11 lifted trucks from Jeeps to diesel pickups.

Fit was excellent. Easy to install. Smooth ride, but steering is touchy now, but when it gets worn in it should settle itself down.

I had my local truck accessories place put the 2. 5 on my 2015 JK Willys. I couldn’t be happier with it. I have 285-70r17s with 2 inch spacers and the skyjacker dual steering stabilizers and it actually handles better than the stock setup that it came with.

I didn’t have the 4×4 and the instructions are only catered to that version. I did have to cut the back leaf spring u bolts and front cam bolts in order for them to work. ( Not in the instructions) I also would recommend purchasing better shocks than the ones they provide.

Not a comfortable ride. It also says you can put 35in tires which is correct but they barely fit inside. I am riding on the stock 18in wheels but there is hardly any room for movement. The brake lines are also a concern.

The kit requires you to cut a brace and relocate but it only stretches and the just hang there. I would have rather added new secure lines and bled the brakes then have them hanging in the new location next to my larger tires than can cause more damage if I turn into them.

Surprisingly smoothier ride than expected. Parts were all packaged well. Instructions were spot on. I done it all in driveway on stands. With zero issues. Lol Nut and bolts forever.

Had it installed. It leaves alot of wheel space. I was hoping the tires would fill it it better, but no. The biggest tire you can fit is 285/75R18. I had to remove the front mud flaps because it scrubs on turns.

The website says 35’s fit with no modifications. But there is still scrub with in the back side of the fender well on turns. I have spent alot of money and its not what I hoped it would look like in the end.

I am scared to drive it because of the scrubbing on turns. Every one says it looks good but I am not satisfied. Running 285/75R18’s on factory wheels.

Replaced my ready lift sst 3. 5 with this RC kit because the ride was too rough and my angels were too extreme for a daily driver especially in the winter months where 4×4 is a must. Don’t make the mistake I made with going with a 3.

5 spacer lift without keeping the factory geometry in mind. I was new to the whole lift game and had zero knowledge when getting my first kit installed (sst 3. 5). Needless to say my first kit was a big waste of money but like they say ain’t nothing like a bought lesson.

So I’m sharing my experience so you guys and girls don’t make the same costly mistake I made. A complete lift kit with coilovers is the way to go if you want longevity and a better than factory ride out of your vehicles.

This RC coilover was my choice because it offered just as much than the higher end products for lesser money and it preforms great. If you’re in the market for a complete lift don’t hesitate to purchase this RC w/coilovers you won’t regret it.

I installed this lift myself. I opted for the lift struts in front and V2 shocks in rear. I don’t have a vehicle lift, so handling the front differential was a bit of a handful, but otherwise pretty straightforward install.

I still cannot believe how great the truck rides. It previously had a 2 1/2″ spacer lift in front, and was really stiff, with alot of bump steer. Not anymore. This suspension soaks up anything you drive over with no hard hits at all.

Keep in mind you will lose a little ground clearance in the front due to the axle/control arm drop, but this is necessary to keep all geometry in the correct position. The design of the drop brackets gives you as much clearance as any kit like this can offer.

I am running 295/70/18 tires with 18×9 -12mm offset. No rubbing at all.

I am very pleased with my purchase for the 4” Rough Country lift kit on my 2011 F150. The ride is completely smooth, better then factory ride! I ended up using 4” Rough Country N3 Shocks with Icon Delta UCA’s and rear 4-6” Fox shocks.

I could not complain about anything. The Rough Country lift kit is very well built, black powder coating for a sleek look! Thank your Rough Country! They always deliver on time, never had an issue with delivery! Their customer service is always very helpful! I do want to ask, if I wanted to lift my current RC 4” lift to 6” lift.

Exactly what I was looking for in a lift. All shocks new shocks and leafs instead of blocks. Looks and performs great.

It seems to be that some things in this lift kit do not match my 1992 ford ranger STX. I had to buy separate U bolts. As well as I need to fin a new front axle bracket. Other than that the lift kit seems very sturdy.

Instructions were not that great if I hadn’t already installed another ST3 kit it would of bean a little harder and the Instructions were for the CT kit I had parts that were not even on the Instructions but it was close enough to get the job done with a little research.

I installed it on the garage floor with no torch or plasma so it is possible just takes longer. After the I stall the kit is amazing I can put the tire 42 inches in the air before another tire comes up.

Ride is great. Looks aggressive as anything out there. I was missing a couple bushings for the front axle I contacted Teraflex and they fixed it with no hassle or charge at all. Very happy with my time nothing but a big smile everytime I look at my jeep now.

Awesome kit, rad build quality, pain in the ass to install. The instructions were not very understandable. The Teraflex guy we talked to said he didn’t need the instructions. So that didn’t help us in figuring out how to do it.

it took us about 2 weeks to get it fully built & aligned etc. All in all, great kit. cannot complain to much. on ride is very rough too, roughly 16″+ of drop travel. Keep in mind, It does like to body roll a lot more now than before.

People do ask what lift my Jeep has all the time, I love it people love it. If you have the money, time & grit to get it done and enjoy the ride. Do it, no questions!.

Install was easy enough with the proper tools and equipment. Plasma cutter a must to make it faster. Better written instructions would have been nice. Very vague on a lot of the install. Very happy with the end results.

I’m 58 yrs old and did the complete install in my backyard and on jackstands.

I purchased this kit in January of this year. I also purchased the forged adjustable front and rear track bar and the N 2. 0 steering stabilizer. I did this knowing I was taking vacation in March specifically to install the lift.

This is the first time I’ve installed a lift kit. I went into this knowing it was going to be difficult. This is an awesome lift. The only problems I have are little nit picky things. There are times when the instructions are not very clear.

The web site has the instruction manual with pictures in color. Why not have color pictures in the printed manual. When you pull the poly hardware bags out of the box there is almost no way to know what hardware bag goes to what.

It has a printed number on it that means absolutely nothing to the consumer. You should put something on the bag that indicates what that particular poly hardware bag goes to. Or, better yet, have them put in a blister pack that marks the size of each bolt and nut and what part it goes too.

I spent a lot of time guessing which bag of hardware to use. Now that I have the nit picky stuff out of the way. This kit went on a totally stock 1998 tj. It had never been touched except for tires and wheels.

Once I was able to get the rusted old parts off the new ones went together just fine. I did 99% of it by myself and 100% of it in my driveway. I started on 3/17/18 and tightened the last bolt on 3/23/18.

Yes. it took me a full 7 days to complete but that was not the fault of Rough Country or their products. Stuck parts and rusted bolt were my issue. With the tires and wheels I purchased this lift kit has breathed new life into my 20 year old tj.

I would definitely recommend this product along with all the other products I purchased from Rough Country.

I had to REALLY open up the brackets with a large crescent wrench to get the rear shock bushings into the brackets. I measured them with a micrometer They are a full 2mm larger than the stock bushing size.

Not sure if there is a one size fits all thing going on but shouldn’t have to work that hard to get the bushings in the bracket–otherwise very happy with the kit.

Transfer case linkage drop does not work at all. The linkage binds hits the bolts on the bracket and won’t allow you to put Jeep into four low. After dropping the transfer case my shifter boot bumps the jeep out of second.

Looks like I will have to run a aftermarket shift boot. Hardest part about the install was the sway bar linkage, the directions aren’t clear on what bushing to press in and I put in the wrong bushings in.

Spent two hours trying to fix the mistake. All said and in done Jeep rides very stiff and vibrations when accelerating. Not very impressed with the kit, I’m gonna need SYE kit, cv driveshaft and upper adjustable control arms to fix the vibration.

I have a 2011 Taco (2. 7L 4×4 Access Cab) and this kit worked great. It was complete and had everything needed for the install. The instructions that came with it are the same as you can download from the site.

I’d recommend downloading since it will have color pics and be easier to visualize. Overall, this was easy enough to be installed at my home workshop with nothing but floor jacks and jack stands. It took me almost double them time than suggested on the site and instructions but that was due mainly to small setbacks like clearance to use a saws-all and incomplete tool list.

For instance, they don’t list the 12MM allen wrench which would be used to remove the back mount for the front diff; at least now I have new 12mm allen head socket for future use. I usually just pull the top and bottom bolt from there to rotate the diff down and out.

So, that’s kind of on me too so I’m not taking a star off. You will 100% definitely need to do an alignment once it’s installed. It’s a little squirrelly but the alignment should help fix that. The install feels solid and the shocks and struts work very well.

Bought this 6 inch kitvwith the lifted N3 struts for the front and N3 shocks for the rear. All I got to say is wow! Great look, very smooth ride, handles great! Instructions were straight foward, everything went together perfectly.

Cv axle angles are good, front and rear driveshaft Angles are good perfect kit for what I do with my truck! I’m 100% satisfied and I’d buy again!.

It’s a lot of lift for a good price and it holds up good off road so far. The only issue I had was the instructions were lacking in little details that I had to look up other places. A video would be a great help or a bunch more pictures.

Besides that it’s awesome and I can fit 35/12. 50/17 on my stock TRD rims with 1. 5 inch wheel spacers. The kit could do with drop down nerf bars so you can get in it haha but really good setup for the price.

Pros: Arrived supernaturally fast. Like, in 3 days. (Im in california near Sac). Components have a quality, sturdy feel and finish. And, the install was relatively easy. I was able to put some 32s on, with RC spacers (285-70-R17) and it required very minimal bumper trimming with a razor knife and hammering the seam weld for very adequate clearance.

The lift looks great and handles well (now). No problems at all fitting the components or fasteners. Cons: drilling an accurate hole to relocate the lower trackbar attachment point is not super easy.

But Im sure youll do a better job than I did. If RC were to include a marking template or dril pilot I think it would greatly increase the reliability of this modification (it was the only required mod for install).

I didnt like how the relocated hole was close to the edge of the steel bracket so I ordered the forged trackbar in order to use the original hole again (another story in itself). Also, the rear upper links didnt come with grease fittings.

They are around a dollar at the hardware store so I didnt bother customer service with it though. Plus, I was able to choose angled fittings for the forward joint -(I highly recommend this for ease of accessing them later).

Overall, the 4” lift doesnt seem to overly compromise handling and is probably ideal for the limitations of short arm suspension. Shocks are betterthan stock, but some Bilsteins will be ordered next year with the long arms.

The lift was fin except that all my pinion angles where off and the Jeep did not like it one bit. My rear drive shaft was binding, and I needed to order the adjustable upper control arms to correct it.

Not sure why Rough Country sells this kit without a warning. I cannot be the only one with this problem. Once the uppers where installed the lift was great. The height was just what I was looking for.

If I did it all over again, I would have bought the X-series lift kit for $850 as it is a better kit as you get adjustable uppers and lowers plus new spring all around. Doing it the way I did it cost me $825.

Bought direct from Rough Country, delivered on time and complete. Installations instructions were easy to follow but could use more information on alignment for installing lower control arms. Overall, very happy with the Rough Country 3.

5 lift kit, ZJ looks awesome lifted and the ride is great!.

Enjoyed installing the kit. Highly recommend getting a new steering stabilizer. As for tools a pitman arm puller that fits, stout jack and large jack stands. Little car stuff won’t work. Started on the weekend, gave up in the heat of the day.

Had a buddy help some. Then after work for 4 days. Had some issues that had to wait till the next day for parts or tools. Some stuff fell together, other times it would fight me for longer than I would have liked.

I bought the truck with 37’s and a 2″ leveling kit. The tires rubbed. Nothing says idiot like rubbing tires because everyone knows you installed tires bigger than your truck can handle. Couldn’t give up the tires, so I lifted it, The warning sticker they give you had me freaked out about driving, but everything was okay when test driving.

First task was pulling a trailer to town, drove and handled well. Need to get the tow set, steering wheel is off(was before, worse now. ) Corners are a little harder so I need to take them a little slower.

Braking seems about the same. New shocks helped with the ride. Recommend this kit.

I installed the 3” lift on my 2013 F250 and finished it off with Toyo Open Country M/T 35 12. 5 r18. Installation was fairly easy, just be sure you have the right tools. The instructions show a couple bolts as a different size than what it actually is, but no big deal as long as you have the right size sockets or wrench on hand.

Everything lined up perfect and bolted right into place. I installed by myself but an extra hand would have been great as the front axle is very heavy and a little tricky to get back into place when aligning the radius arms Overall a great product and the ride is so much better than stock.

Also, the 35 12. 5 tires fit perfect with no rubbing.

I got this lift out of necessity due to me swapping a much bigger and heavier 94 DT466. Had to cut and lower my center cross member to fit the motor so that didnt give much clearance above the axle. The lift kit gives me tons of room and a stffer ride up front with the added weight.

The only small issue i had was with the instructions and pics for the rear lift blocks it wasnt clear as to which way the blocks had to face as in a forward side or back side. But some google images helped out.

Other than that it was a pretty easy lift to install and i love how the truck rides now.

I’ve had the 4” spring front/block rear on for 3 weeks now and have had no issues, I’ve ran it about 2800 miles and have tightened everything up on the shedule recommended and nothing has been loose or sloppy.

I would recommend it if you are running a budget like most people are. A word of advise on the dodge/gm Dana 44 that has the 3 bolt steering radius arm studs/passenger side leaf spring stud, when you get the kit the instructions mention using a “double nut” to remove.

don’t waste you’re time make sure you have a stud extractor ready before you start tearing into it. ask me how I know. Other than that it was a leaf spring lift so extremely easy kit to install and I’m happy with quality and fit of everything I put on.

Vague is a understatement for the instructions. Two rear U-Bolts came with stripped threads. I’ve installed many types of lift kits on my vehicles over the years and I would have to say this kit is one of the worst I’ve installed.

It’s definitely not DIY kit if you’re not mechanically inclined.

Really good price for a great lift kit! Shipped quickly. Everything fit correctly. All necessary parts included. Kit included one shock absorber that I felt may be defective. Called company. Had a replacement in three days and a shipping label to return the suspect shock for quality review.

Very happy with this kit overall. I’ve only had it installed for a few hundred miles but the install was easier then I expected. Me and a buddy installed it in his garage (he has a lift). It took us about 7 hours.

The instructions were a little vague on certain parts because they were for a 4wd and 6” lift. This also meant that some of the bolt sizes were different then the instructions. Not a big deal. Due to some of the hardware being shared between 4” and 6” kits.

I had a few bolts left over which is normal. Everything fit great and there were zero issues on install. The ride is great It’s a little stiffer in the rear but pretty close to factory other then that.

My alignment was WAY off, as expected, but the alignment guy said it was very simple to get it right! My truck is a 2018 2. 7 with 20×10 -18 wheels and 305/55/20 Toyos. After alignment, they just barely run the crash bars which I will fix soon.

Definitely recommend this kit for anyone looking for a small Lift with good drivability.

Very happy with the lift kit! Prior, I had a 2in front level but the ride was horrible and I had minor rubbing on my 33” Nitto Ridge Grapplers; however, the ride significantly improved with this kit and upgraded shocks! Truck drives like a luxary car now!.

The lift is pretty nice, seems sturdy and well made but there were some issues. Firstly the track bar was the wrong one and was missing hardware as well. I went ahead and upgraded to a JKS track bar so not a deal breaker.

The instructions are crappy. They are in black and white and do not show the bolts and nuts needed, only descriptions of them. Some part numbers were different as well but worked. I used the online colorized version of the instructions and figured out the bolt situation except for one major flaw.

The sway bar end link top bolts did not fit. Wrong threads for the original bracket. I drilled it out and just installed a bolt and nut to hold it but this could be detrimental for someone who doesn’t have the extra hardware laying around.

All in all I like the lift. You will have to recenter your steering wheel or you’ll get a ESC error. Alignment is also recommended. Took me 3 days to install but that was because of working in the afternoons and the cold and dark coming so early.

I’d say if you have all the tools and hood jacks and jacks stands it shouldn’t take more than a day to really get it in and adjusted.

I was nervous when buying this suspension lift kit because the factory ride quality is great and the price was a little steep. I was able to install the lift kit by myself over the course of 40 hours.

I think this speaks to the quality of the product and how DUI friendly it is. It has given my tacoma an awesome off-road look as well as provide exceptional Offroad Ride Quality. Anybody that is thinking about buying this product but are not willing to fork over that cabbage, be patient and save up for these.

You really get what you pay for when it comes to a lifting your truck.

I bought the kit almost 2 years ago. When it arrived it didnt come with the u bolts for the rear end. It also did not come with the exhaust spacers shown. Some of the powder coating had pretty good scratches through to the metal.

The instructions we’re very vague. Once I got the kit installed, and work through all the Kinks in the instructions the kid fit very nicely indefinitely change the appearance of the Jeep. After install I have a slight vibration in the rear end.

I did change the front drive shaft, and that did not help when I finally received the exhaust spacers they did not fit right and would have leaked dramatically. I did not realize that the Bilstein shocks did not come with the rubber shock boot which is caused surface rust to accumulate on the shock.

All in all for the money it’s not a bad kit if you aren’t mechanically inclined. If not you’re definitely going to have an issue working through the instructions. I recommend that you order extended brake lines because the relocation brackets for the brake line retainer didn’t look very sturdy so I didn’t use them I replace the lines.

I am still trying to figure out what exactly is causing the vibration in the rear end. Because of everything involved in the install I would definitely choose a full 2 day weekend if not a 3-day weekend for the install.

That way if anything comes up you have time.
