20 Best 4000 Psi Pressure Washer (2022 Updated)

I purchased this in early July to start doing some side work. On my 4th job the u loader quit functioning properly. I purchased a cat pump for another $600 to put on figuring Id just upgrade everything.

I called Simpson they wanted me to take it to my local Rual king to have a mechanic look at it. Rual king was 6 weeks out on having them look at it. I was able to get pressure readings and give to the lady on the phone and she said sorry thats not enough this is our process.

Poor quality in the product even worse quality in the customer service. I would not buy this again.

Unfortunately, this is not a good review. This my second Simpson PW. First one lasted one season. I purchased a second one 2 weeks ago. After 4 jobs, the PW pump lost all pressure, was told I could not return it and the nearest repair center was 30 minutes away and had a two-week wait.

Had to borrow a machine from a friend to complete jobs. A pump should not break down after for using it 4 times. Really disappointed but now stuck with this machine. Hoping it can be fixed.

I love the engine it runs strong and gives out great power it also runs smooth and dosent shake. One thing Id say that I do not like is the pull string ceases up a lot. And AAA pumps are not my favorite, if you get this do not let the pump run for more than 30 seconds without staying on the trigger.

The way I got around that is by buying a 10 ball valve. The surface cleaner is great also you just have to turn your unloader a few turns to lower the pressure or the surface cleaner will hover. Overall though this is a great machine to start out with.

I have one complaint and I will start with that. The bottom of the skirt on the aluminum plate that the engine mounts to is like razor blades. If you need to pick it up to load into a truck, you’re getting stitches unless you wear thick gloves.

I’m going to grind mine down to smooth it out, but just be aware that it is super sharp. The only other complaint is the lack of a factory hour meter, but you can buy one online for ten bucks. Other than that, this thing is awesome.

My old 3100psi 2. 5gpm washer took me all weekend to clean a large paver patio and 8 ft high retaining wall. This thing powers through it in 3 hours. I do not have a turbo nozzle for this one, and it’s probably not needed at all.

I put a pressure gauge on it, and all the way up, it actually achieves about 4500 psi, much higher than the rated 4200. The surface cleaner is great, and I can do my whole driveway in an hour instead of several.

The chemical injection is after the pump, and even though the manual says not to put bleach through it, it’s fine as long as you purge things right after with clean water. I’ve been using a mixture of Crush Cherry and liquid pool chlorine to clean badly mildewed concrete.

It works awesome, but might be dangerous so I wear a respirator that eliminates chlorine. The motor starts on the second pull normally. I replaced the stock oil with Amsoil synthetic as the oil provided did not seem to be synthetic.

I have 650 feet of pavers for a driveway and two paver patios which is another 400 square feet easy. I was tired of the box store power washers dying on me. Typically, the pump fails, or the carburetor needs replacing, but ultimately, they just don’t have enough power for the job, and I needed a professional grade machine.

The honda engine was a must as was the caterpillar pump, these components are built to last. 4400 PSI is a lot of pressure, it’s formidable to handle and comes with a heavy-duty hose. Used it over 8 hours, starts up easy and just runs.

There have been some complaints about it being hard to start. It can be if you don’t follow the directions, you have to release some of the pressure by pressing the trigger on the wand then you will avoid any recoil.

Its a great machine.

Inner box protection should outer box be punctured. Placed on a small wooden fork lift crate that is then placed on top of a regular sized plastic crate. Easy assembly. Easy to start. Great performance although I’ve only used it for 1 hour.

Honda says it all on engine reliability. A pressure guage would be nice to have but is not necessary. For continuous washing a trigger hold is necessary to avoid hand fatigue. I understand safety issue but holding the trigger for an hour without release is not physically possible for me.

I made a 3/4 piece of pvc, notched, so as to hold the trigger on. Works great. Be extra careful if a trigger lock is used. Impressed with overall quality of product as well as 1st class status updates on purchase and delivery.

I feel like I may have overshot my needs with this purchase. I had gone though several of those cheap ,plastic, electric box store type pressure washers over the past 5 years. Tired of replacing them so this time I sought to get one with better power and longevity.

I bought the top-of-the line electric store brand from a major retailer. Based on the specs this thing boasted I thought it would be great. Major let down. Seemed to have less power than the dinky ones that listed half the psi & gpm numbers.

I immediately returned it and spent some serious time researching pressure washers and determined I wanted something with at least 4k psi and 3. 5 gpm – and a triplex pump for longevity. These specs exceed the capacity of all but the most enormously expensive electric models and so I resigned to getting a gas machine.

Online reviews lead me to Simpson and this model. Decided to bite the bullet and invest in a real machine. Glad I did. This is a powerful tool that can do it all, but does take some getting used to. PROS – Extremely powerful – well built – long HD hose – complete selection of nozzles – well designed cart with large tires and smart storage of hose, gun and nozzles.

CONS – Must be shut off if not spraying from the gun for more than two minutes otherwise the over-temp valve will blow! – Impossible to start if you are not also squeezing the gun trigger at the same time (takes two hands or a helper) – useless customer support phone agents.

I had one tell me there was nothing they could do about the quick-use directions applique on the control panel that was installed crooked, wrinkled and extending partially off the panel. She said to just read to the instruction book! When I said that’s unsatisfactory she said just return it to the store then (I just want a replacement applique).

Another call about why the unit kept shutting down when reducing engine speed to idle was met with ‘you didn’t put enough oil in the engine’. She told me the included bag of oil was just a sample and not enough to fill the crankcase to the minimum level.

Really? SUMMARY – Good Performance, appears to be well built but with poor fit & finish with regard to the decals and non-performance affecting details, and an incomplete user manual and cannot rely of phone support line for useful help.

I still have some questions about operation but don’t want to waste my time with the 800 # people. Hoping someone from the company calls me.

I bought pressure washer last month from Lowes got new gas can stop at the gas station bought gas and got home and put pressure washer togheter. As soon as engine starts running was running rough. I called the # from the manual for manufacturing and report what is happening they told me it is probably gun.

They send me a gun and i tested again and again same thing i call them AGAIN. They said i need to take pressure washer to service and they give me the address and i did. Today service called and said that they end up cleaning carbonator and that is not covered by manufacturing.

I CALED AGAIN manufacturing department ad they said same thing they don’t caver cleaning carburetor do to OLD GAS. I told them that i bought new can new gas how i know if is old or new? They said that is how works and i ask them do thay test pressure washers before they sale them and i was told some times yes some times NO.

So they make me pay for repair. I shuld NEVER called them i shuld return this preshure washer back to lowes and GET MY MONE BACK. Now im stuck with GOD knows what will be next so I WILL NOT RECOMEND THIS PRESHURE WASHER TO NO NO BUDY.

Had this machine for less than a month and the unloader valve is already shot. Waited 45 minutes for a customer service rep. I run a business so 2 weeks at a shop plus however long it takes Simpson to review my claim isn’t worth the time.

Had to buy a new pump (Comet 4gpm unit). I don’t know why Simpson uses the AAA garbage. Nice Honda garbage pump. Less than 10 hours and already broken. Upon inspection I noticed the lug set screw used for setting the unloader valve was missing.

Terrible quality do not buy!.

I bought the power washer at the end of March 2022, and it was delivered in early April 2022. Right out of the box there was an issue with the wand, water just flowed right through it with no pressure whatsoever.

I called customer support and they said I needed a new wand. I waited another two weeks for the new wand to show up and when it did the product worked great. I was able to power wash my house one weekend.

Another weekend I power washed my sidewalks, driveway and a retaining wall that I have. When I went to use it the third time in June, as soon as I started the motor water blew everywhere out of the quick connect connection and the washer would not produce any water pressure at the wand.

I called customer support again and was told I needed to take it in for service and the closest service center was over an hour away, even though the person on the phone insisted that according to their map it was less than 20 miles away.

I loaded my power washer in the car and drove it an hour and 15 minutes to the service center. Two weeks later I drove back and picked it up. So far it is working well, however I just turned it on to make sure it didn’t leak, and I haven’t really used it to wash anything.

I did notice when I was putting it away where the hose hangs on the power washer the paint/power coating had chipped off and it was starting to rust. Also, the male connection on the quick connect hose for the wand has rust on it as well, I thought these connections were supposed to be stainless steel.

The discouraging part is that I purchased this power washer to replace a smaller on that was almost 15 years old, and in those 15 years I only had to replace the carburetor because of bad gas. This power washer has already had two issues and it is only going on 4 months.

Only time will tell how this unit holds up.

Bought at Tractor Supply a couple weeks ago after pretty extensive searching for what would best fit my need. Got it home, put it together, added fuel and oil, double checked everything, hooked up the hose…no wash gun in the box! Thankfully Tractor Supply manager remembered me and supplied a wand, saying this was the second time it had happened.

Reading other reviews, sounds to me like Simpson has a serious quality control problem. As far as the washer itself, it’s been working well. Starts easily, runs smoothly, washes nicely. I really like the large tank – fewer stops to refill than my prior unit.

I like the use of Honda engines in Simpson products. From the box it started on the second pull and is very easy to restart when in use. The fifty foot hose was a nice touch when choosing this model.

Because of its size the double handle makes it easier to lift the unit by distributing the weight front to back. I also like how the water supply connection is on the side and the connection to the braided power hose is out the back between the handle supports and not on top of each other.

I bought this pressure washer at Lowes (2) years ago. Unfortunately the pump seals (AAA Pump) blew out after 4-5 uses (less than 20 hours of total use). I tried to resolve under warranty but seals and labor are NOT covered.

I have replaced all of the seals numerous times but they only last for several washes. I have worked on the washer more than I have used it. The AAA Pump is junk. Simpson has a great brand image. The Frame and Honda motor are great.

Why use a cheap Asian pump and trick customers with the (5) year warranty. The average user is not capable of replacing seal kits every 4-5 washes. I finally went to Kleen-Rite and purchased a replacement CAT Pump ($450).

I guess I should have researched more. Simpson Washers are great but never purchase one with a AAA Pump.

I bought this PS60918 a few days ago from Lowe’s. I noticed on the second day of admiring it in my toolroom that the soap nozzle and thermal release were missing off my pump. Lowe’s had some of these available on the pressure washer aisle in boxes, and they also had some lined up in the main entry aisle by the light bulbs.

I chose one of the pre-assembled ones as they were ready to be rolled out easily. If you ever buy from a box store like this probably go for the one in a nice untampered-with box. Anyway. as soon as I noticed I called Simpson and explained, asked if I should order new parts or return the whole thing to Lowe’s.

Customer service just asked for my address and mailed the parts out to me free of charge. Much respect when this was in no way Simpson’s fault. Thought others might like to know. This is my second Simpson pressure washer, I just upgraded from a 3200 black one.

I am certain this one will perform even better. Now for some gun feedback: I was tempted to (but did not) take one star off for quality because of the lack of live swivel in the provided gun. It’s a very basic gun.

If I would ask for one change for your product lineup, it would be to please consider shipping either Mosmatic’s 29. 132 HP Purple gun or MTM Hydro’s SGS35 Acqualine gun with your pressure washers. Both of these guns include an integrated stainless steel live swivel, which means they swivel freely even under full pressure.

Makes for far less hose annoyance while pressure washing, and the ease of trigger pull makes for less hand fatigue, leading to more work output. This would step up the quality of your lineup offering a couple of levels.

Change the price accordingly (these are not cheap guns) and people will love the longer lasting, far more easy to use guns and didn’t have to research to find the best on their own. Gun should match the machine in performance.

Was shopping for a new pressure washer and came across this one. Wanted a PW with at least 4,000 psi and a good flow rate and at a competitive price. Assembled the handle added the supplied oil, put in a little gasoline and it started on the first pull.

Honda engines are the best in my opinion. Pressure wand has an additional handle which helps control this beast, nice feature! Hose is wire branded for added strength. So far, I’m totally impressed with this pressure washer.

No buyer regrets here!.

First, I use this in my boatyard to power wash sailboats when hauling them out for winter storage or to service them. It was time to replace my failing one. Found this site from an email. Glad I did.

All this information on all the choices was very insightful and helpful. I knew I needed a professional model with high pressure to do this job. The Cat 5 pump was a perfect choice as well as the Honda engine.

I Love This Washer! The power is fantastic. This has cut my time washing the bottoms of boats (up to 47 ft) in half. There are times when the boats come out very foul and this baby just cuts right thru it.

I can use the 45 deg tip with no loss in ability. Thus a much faster cleaning. Very easy to start. You do not have to hold the trigger open to start. I use a 50ft hose and that does the trick. The hose is holding up very well being dragged over cement.

The wand is very high quality. I have the turbo rotary tip and that with the 4,000 PSI will take anything off. I had one boat that was just loaded with Zebra Mussels and this removed them easily. Not easy to do.

The box that this shipped in was not up to it and was damaged with part of the washer exposed. Luckily no damage was found on inspection. I recommend a heavier crate for shipping. I am very happy with this purchase and am very happy with the company.

I highly recommend this pressure washer and the company.

The unit came completely assembled right out of the box and my first impression was how well built this thing is. As a painting contractor, I’ve had a variety of pressure washers and this one is my favorite to date.

Once I added the (included) oil and powered it up it’s been flawlessly performing as expected. The power is insane and all of the components feel solid and professional grade. The unit is also fairly compact and easily fits in the back of a pickup along with lots of other gear.

I can lift the unit into my truck by myself in a pinch but prefer if someone helps. To sum it up, I did a lot of research before buying and I have zero regrets. I’d recommend this unit to anyone looking for the real deal.

In my opinion, you’re getting more than you pay for when compared with many other units available.

First time having a unit this big. Was a little confused on the start up instructions and how much oil I needed to put. The dip stick doesn’t have a “fill to” line. The start up instructions had the choke and fuel shut off valve labeled opposite than was is on the unit it’s self.

All that aside the unit runs good.

I spent hours researching pressure washers, and after talking with many people, and reading tons of reviews, I decided on the Simpson 4000 psi. I ordered it thru Sams club and purchased the extended 3 year warranty.

They said it would take about three weeks to deliver, and what a nice surprise when I received the delivery call and received it 10 days earlier than scheduled. The price was a little steep, but after using this machine, you definitely get what you pay for.

It is a beast! The second pull and it fired right up. Plenty of power. Be careful not to get to close to things as it will tear things up with its pressure. Beware on ladders as well, as the pressure can cause you to loose balance if your not ready for it.

You can’t go wrong with this machine. I am a handyman and looking forward to many years of use.

Just purchased this today and put it to work as soon as I got home. Easy assembly. Started on the very first pull. Used it to wash the house, trailers, moving trucks, storage sheds, and anything else in the yard that didn’t move.

After running full throttle for about 1-1/2 hours, it didn’t use over 3/8 of a tank of gas. Most economical pressure washer I have owned or operated so far. I have owned a few and operated a multitude of them over the yeas.

This is by the far the best to date. the price was good too, $799. 00 at Sams Club. I checked the price of comparable machines and the lowest price for the same thing elsewhere was $1199. 00 and up. So far the quality is excellent.

I have owned a lot of equipment with Honda engines so I knew I would like this too. You can’t go wrong with Honda powered equipment. After I have had it a while, I will update my review. Can’t wait for it to get light tomorrow so I can use it again.

Way to go Simpson Cleaning and Honda.

I recently bought this great looking machine, and I was so hyped that I invited my neighbor over to unbox it with me, which he did come over. All the parts were in the box, the engine started up nicely, but unfortunately, the most important part of a Pressure Washer, was non-exist at – yes, there was absolutely no pressure.

I have had the pump taken apart twice, by the authorized service center in the last ten days, as they figured out that new parts were needed to replace the new parts on the new machine. Crossing my fingers they get it fixed when the parts come in.

I do not think you should be crossing your fingers on a new machine, thus, I do not recommend this Simpson product.

This is a 4000 PSI pressure with a (390 cc / 26 horsepower) Honda engine. This is also a belt drive unit, and that is a great feature for someone that is going to use it for long periods of time when using it.

I am a commercial roofing contractor and I run a 4000 PSI 20″ surface cleaner with it, and it doesn’t blink at running all day using that. That was the primary feature that I was looking for when selecting a machine.

The bonus is that it cam with a Honda engine that starts on 1 or 2 pulls every time. The only real con that I can find is that it is heavy and my solution to that was more hoses. It runs three 50′ hoses without a question.

More than that I am not sure, but 3 hoses get me everywhere I need to go.

We use our washers very hard washing our poultry barns and this one fits the bill. We have bought lots of direct drive ones over the years for a lot less money and they only lasted for so long, This is the first belt drive and there is no comparison if you are in the need of a serious one.

Would definitely buy it again. Five*****.

The pressure washer arrived when promised and it was in excellent condition no dings, dents nor scratches. The box was unloaded off of the truck and set right on my driveway. After filling the crankcase and checking the pump oil I hooked up everything to give it a try.

It started right up but unfortunately didn’t produce any pressure. In other words, the pressure was unaffected by running the engine. After calling customer service and them speaking with the manufacturer the problem was diagnosed.

I removed the bottom nut from the unloader valve and found the ball stuck in the bottom. I removed it, cleaned it and the seat and re-assembled the unit. Success, it’s now functioning properly. The factory person said that they test all units before shipping and blow air through the unit to clear all of the water but sometimes a little water will remain in that area and form deposits and not allow the ball to move freely and that’s what causes the problem.

Now, I just need to find a cover for it.

The cons and I am being picky. Documentation is not good. No info on the pump is included. There is no hose holder or wand holder this would be nice on a $1700 PW. Pump site glass is very hard to see but came full and oil amount in the engine was hard to find.

It took the Included quart. The dip stick is on the outside of the engine. The inside one near the pump is just a plug, I guess for different mounting option. A pressure gauge would be nice as well, I bought one separately.

The pro. its a BEAST! The engine and pump are top of the line. The hose and wand are nice. Fill it up with fuel, put the choke on, turn on the fuel, be sure throttle is on full speed, hold the wand ON and pull the rope.

BRummmmmmm Big power on tap, my gauge shows 4100psi with a zero tip. She pushes back hard! Like my wife when I need some new tools! lol 😂.

Did not know what to think of this before I started using to clean 15,000 sq of pavers. My concern was would it be powerful enough with my 4,000 psi 4 gal pressure washer. It has showed that it is, and is a great time saver, and easy to use.

I think the value is there and would recommend it to anyone who has to clean flat surfaces.

First things first. Ordered the surface cleaner on Sunday and it was on the porch Wednesday afternoon. Nice!The unit was simple to assemble. Appears to be built very good and solid. The unit has three spray headers that rotated freely.

It comes with a male and female hose adapter which is good. Saved a trip to the hardware store. The connectors are for a 3/8 hose. My Power source is a Dewalt 3800 psi, Honda GX270 engine with 3. 5 GPM output.

The unit states 3 GPM minimum. I pressure washed a rough textured concrete area that had not been cleaned in 5 years. The surface cleaner performed well. Had to take it slow, however, the unit disc is 24 inches.

Covered a lot of area in a short period of time. Surprisingly quiet. Unit came with four roller casters already attached. This was a first run out of the box so I am unable to fairly comment on its long term robustness.

The components on this unit appear of good quality so I suspect it will serve me well for a long time. I would buy it again. This unit cut my work time by at least 50% to 60%. I am just a homeowner and not a contractor.

I bought the unit to clean my driveway, entry walkways and a sea wall which is 5 x 150 feet. I am sure it will be in demand by my neighbors once they see it. They are welcome to it.

I would suggest a higher GPM! I have a 4. 0 GPM. With the three nozzles, it seems not to clean as well as my previous 20′. As it is stated it will work with a 4. 0 GPM. I love the surface cleaner. Great buy for the buck.

This is an excellent machine. Powerful, easy to operate, easy to move around, and well built. The electric start feature is terrific. I recommend this machine highly.

I bought this to replace a 20 year old unit at home that was 2700psi @ 3gpm. At work, we had a 4000psi , 4gpm, unit that was a tool catalog-chinese knock-off product that was hard to start, leaked oil (even on a second replacement pump), and seemed to be one long series of problems after another.

It lasted about 18 months, and had to be worked on nearly every time we used it. Never again. For my home, I spent a little more and got what I consider to be a top of the line unit. Everything is of top quality and works like it should, right out of the box.

The electric start is a luxury, but I figured, what the heck. I maintain my equipment pretty well (the old one lasted 20 years). Shipping was fast, arrived in 5 days! All in good shape, not a scratch on anything.

I had only used a pressure washer one time from a rental shop and wasn’t satisfied with the results. So when I decided I wanted to purchase one, I studied all the units offered for sale and really couldn’t justify that I needed a pro model, yet the pricing was so similar it hardly made sense to buy a lesser unit.

I read a review from another purchaser who questioned why anybody would buy a non-electric starter unit for the obvious reasons, so I looked into and settled for this 4000 PSI unit with electric start.

Upon arrival, I found it was virtually ready to go. Check the oil, add gas, read the manual (remember I am a novice) and let ‘er rip. I tell you, the electric start is wonderful, the aluminum frame makes it lighter with low center of balance and the controls are placed in the right location ergonomically.

What a machine! I’ve used it only twice, but it is exactly as advertised. A very powerful machine that can tackle the hardest jobs with ease. Yes, it has more than I need, but so do most Corvettes- yet we always wish we had more.

I’d certainly purchase this machine again as I have no regrets spending the extra money to ensure quality (Honda engine and Cat pump). The only drawback is I might become everyone’s favorite neighbor.

Same problem as everyone else the site glass on the pump started leaking after 5 hours of use, still cant get it to stop leaking. The bolts on the crankcase that hold the plate that the pump is attached to all backed out and dumped the oil in the crank case.

Attempted to get warranty work done in Washington state but all of the shops were closed due to covid dewalt said i need to drain the fluids box up the pressure washer and pay the $300 to have it shipped to them.

when the machine works it is awesome its just a reliability disappointment and dumps oil everywhere. It is the same size as my last washer but this one is difficult to start and if you are not carful the recoil on the pull start will rip your shoulder out.

It can run forever and it is powerful but is a total bearcat to start up if you take a quick break or you run out of gas and need to fill up. Almost to the point where you could break a bone in your hand from the pull cold after the wheel locks up and pulls it out of your hand.

I have never cursed so loud in my life and it happens all the time. Came with extremely low quality tires, lasted a couple months and were flat for no reason, had to replace tires at year 2, tread was falling off.

The wheels have always been wobbly so it doesn’t roll very even. Other than that it does the job.

I’ve used this a few times and really like it. Respectable amount of power but nothing crazy. Just keep good footing and be prepared for some Newtons, this isn’t a toy. You could potentially do damage to materials with this so a modicum of common sense would be in order.

I would describe it as a bit more powerful than a good car wash pressure washer if that gives you an idea. Does a fantastic job on cars and machinery. You can adjust the regulator to dial-back the power for more gentle cleaning if needed.

If used and maintained properly, this machine should last for years. Parts are available so it is serviceable. I would have liked an on-board chemical tank but it comes with a pick-up tube which can be put into a soap container.

With a little thought a soap tank could be mounted on the machine. All things considered, a good tool and well worth the investment.

I’m no stranger to power washers I’m also not a mechanical genius. Decent ,smooth power. Not obnoxiously loud like others. Wand is nice. Pull rope is in a terrible place! Almost need three arms to secure unit, choke and awkwardly pull rope from side angle.

soap dispenser is pointless. They never work well for long. Fold down handle NEVER STAYS SECURE!. Tighten knobs as hard as you like. it’s still gonna buckle on you unexpectedly. The absolute infuriating part is the exhaust location which happens to be DIRECTLY ABOVE the highly pressurized rubber hose!!!! Which for whatever reason comes from the back of the unit! I’ve exploded 3 yes 3 expensive aftermarket hoses because I want able to babysit hose location every second while getting after a job.

The hose always finds its way back to the scorching muffler!.

Had this for about 10 years and it continues to start on the second pull. It holds a lot of fuel so you aren’t refilling as often. I only use the highest octane fuel, which I also use in my lawn tractor, leaf-blower etc.

, and recommend this for worry free operation. Typically use the middle nozzle tip, & occasionally the narrowest for harder spots. Have used this primarily for sidewalks & siding cleaning. Regarding the siding I use water alone, no soap & it does a great job.

I left the unit at my daughter’s home & she just called me to ask me how to operate it. She had it running in no time & commented on how easy it was to start. Only minor issues I have had is the power toggle switch needed to be replaced, which I handled.

Occasionally upon startup the water pressure out of the wand drops intermittently, but it doesn’t take long to get it stabilized. I don’t know if that is related to our pressure, or if that is to be expected upon startup.

I would recommend this model.

The OneWash is a decent machine, but the handle design was very poor. The locking hinge point is plastic and broke within the first few weeks. I contacted Generac about it, and they said they would not replace it.

Looking at the newer designs, it appears they changed the design. Unfortunately they do not always stand by their products even when they know it was poorly designed.

I used medium and fine grade organic media for pool tile cleaning with the sandblasting kit and and I was not impressed. My 3300 PSI pressure washer with a turbo nozzle worked just about as well. The 3500 blasting kit worked great, It was just the media that was the problem.

I might try soda ash next time, but I don’t expect it to work very well either. It looks like inorganic media is still the only effective option. So keep that in mind before buying a wet blaster. And be ready to clean up the mess, since sand won’t dissolve.

Over the last fourteen years, I have owned more than a few pressure washers. From Briggs & Stratton, Karcher, and now DeWalt. I have to say the DeWalt is a far better product. From the smooth running of the pump to the easy handling, the DeWalt has overall excellent operation and is user-friendly.

In short, I don’t have a problem recommending this product to anybody.

This is a big pressure washer for big jobs. 3800PSI and 3. 5 GPM will get large-scale cleaning done quickly. It’s a great unit for builders cleaning up when a job is done, apartment managers keeping their units clean & tidy, kennel and stable managers, etc.

We like the heavy gauge steel frame- it can stand up to life on a job site, and the roll cage design is easy to grab hold of for efficient loading and unloading. The large pneumatic tires with aggressive tread can take the tough terrain around building sites, while leaving few marks on lawns or landscaping.

So far, I am loving this thing! 1) love that it has different nozzles 2) nozzles are quick connect 3) nozzles have a place on board 4) if I need to take a break to rest a few, I dont have to walk to shut the water off like I did my old machine 5) plenty of cord 6) hose is very heavy duty.

my old washer was getting places from storage 7) has a onboard storage for the hose and power cord. I have only had a few days and am hoping its lasts as long as my other one (which is still going) CONS: manual states that is needs to be stored above freezing.

my old machine has been stored in my detached garage. trigger does not have a button to hold it on, so you have to keep pressure on the trigger (probably a safety feature). I am a 56 year old female with fibromyalgia and my hands hurt after a while (but I rigged something to hold it on).

This unit is heavy in bulk likely due to an excellent motor and pump. The plastic housing seems very tough and is not likely to crack from use. When running it sounds very “solid” and is not terribly noisy.

The assembly process was fairly simple. It’s nice to have storage on the unit for both the electrical cord and the high pressure hose. It is also nice to be able to remove the high pressure hose unlike some other less expensive units.

With so much weight at the bottom of the unit it is not going to tip over. There is a foot pedal in the back at the bottom the you can use as leverage to tip the unit to start it rolling – a nice little touch.

The gun, wand, and high pressure hose are all upgrades from other units I have seen, especially the high pressure hose. It is not vinyl on the outside but is rubberized fabric like I had on my gas-powered washer.

When using any electric pressure washer and to avoid damaging the motor, it is important to follow the start-up process to the letter as outlined in the owner’s manual. This will avoid having the pump “suck air” and have it overheat.

You should attach the garden hose first; follow that with the high pressure hose and attach the assembled gun/wand. Turn the water on and let it flow through until there is no air coming through with the water.

Attach your nozzle of choice. Plug in the unit. You should see a red light glowing on the plug with the GFCI. Turn on the switch on the unit. The unit will run very briefly to establish pressure and then shut off.

Squeeze the trigger on the gun and get to work! Detach everything when you are done and drain water from the hoses and the gun. I feel very confident in this pressure washer even after only two uses.

Time will tell, but using careful procedures as outlined in the very nice owner’s manual will avoid problems in the future.

This machine has been a work horse. Great buy. I own a window cleaning company, and we do some soft washing, and pressure washing cleaning driveways, and patios. We are now able to do some commercial jobs with this machine.

I have owned this unit for about 7 years, and it’s still running great. Used about 4 to 5 times a month. Plenty of power, and turbo nozzles work great on this unit. So do surface cleaners. The tires, and bearings on this unit are not the best.

This unit is heavier than most bc of the stainless steel frame, but it hasn’t rusted out. Give, and take I assume. Hate picking it up, and putting it in the truck. You can do it by yourself, but it’s better to have 2 people.

The water inlet filter is a unique part, it has a clear filter which is nice but it’s hard to replace. It will go bad. Had to replace 3 times. Buy a couple extra to have on hand. The pump is outstanding, and I like that you can see the level of pump oil in it.

Overall if your looking for a good pressure washer for the money you can’t go wrong. There is no job this machine can’t handle. We’ve used this 8 hours a day for 12 days straight, and it never faltered.

I bought the same machine three years ago there were some features on it I like better than what theyve done with the newer one. Where are you attach the garden hose in the past had a clear valve and made it easy to see if debris was collecting inside now you cant see inside and they give you some skimpy screen with a gasket on it to keep debris from getting into the valves.

The screen and gasket are coming apart already after 7-8 uses. They also put the handle right by the pulley so you need to remove the handle just to start it and then put the handle back on to move it around the job site kind of a pain in the tail especially on bigger jobs.

The Honda GX390 engine is incredible though top notch! Definitely one of the better 4 gpm machines on the market today and fairly priced.

I have wanted a pressure washer for a couple of years. I looked at many big box stores and asked questions. I found that I needed high water volume and not just high pressure. Having rented and used the wands in the past, I knew how much work they are when you have large concrete surfaces to clean as well as brick and siding.

I bit the bullet and spent way more than I had originally intended. Finally used my washer yesterday after it sat in the garage for a couple of months. All I can say is wow. I learned that I need to remove loose dirt and dirt in the expansion joints first to make cleaning with the rotating brush easier.

Glad I bought a commercial quality model. If you are going to purchase a tool, get a top tier model, you will not be disappointed. I’m ready to tackle more concrete cleaning today. Not much time so I will clean just the back patio.

Really happy with yesterday’s performance. With the rotating brush, no sore back or shoulders from using the wand and a much better cleaning job. Save if you have to and wait until you can get this model or better.

The lesser models with lower GPM and pressure will disappoint you.

Had a substantial recoating job for the walls, ceilings, and piping in a 6 story parking garage. Picked up 2 of these and one of the smaller 2500psi units. These 4400psi units ran for about 6. 5 hours a day for two weeks straight.

No issues what so ever during the job. Did the first oil changes for the break in period on day two. After that once a week whether the oil looked like it needed it or not. (didnt) Finished the job without any glitches.

A few months after the job with out much use. One of the units is harder to start then the other. Probably ran idle more thanks to bad handling by one of my crew. Would definitely recommend these for the substantial discount over the other big name units.

Cheap enough to field a spare.
