20 Best 40Oz Insulated Water Bottle (2022 Updated)

This has got to be one the nest water bottles I have ever purchased. The bottle has a handle in which you can carry by hand with unless you rather grip it by the body. The bottom of the bottle has a rubber base which can be removed, but it helps to keep the bottle snug in a cup holder of your car, if it is too tight, I would say remove it, as we happen to have different size cup holders in our vehicle we can easily remove it if needed.

For the contents of the bottle you can have either hot beverage as to tea or coffee and etc, or ice cold water or any other beverage you can think of. So the manufacturer says you can keep this cold for up to 24hrs, I was able to push that to 48hrs, just depends on each person’s technique.

I would put either ice cubes or cylinder like ice cube in my bottle then put the bottle into the freezer for few hours until I head out and need it, doing so allowed me to keep my water ice cold longer.

I have mainly used this for cold beverage not a hot one as of yet, I’ll have to wait for fall into winter, but manufacturer says 12hrs total, I think if you were to boil water and keep it in the bottle until ready to use like most would with glass insulated thermoses back in the day, you could keep it maybe warmer longer than the 12hrs, not sure as I have not tried it yet.

bottle does not leak which is a huge plus. One the best parts I love is after having say a smoothie in it and washing it, there is no transfer of flavor from previous beverage. my partner ended up liking how my bottle was so I purchased a 2nd one for her, and thinking of purchasing few more as my father has been looking for something like this for his coffee and tea.

I used to have a problem where I kept buying water bottles. So many water bottles. Hydroflasks of all of the sizes, stainless steel cups with straws, collapsable water bottles, you name it. This 24 oz Takeya is the ONE.

Now that I’ve found her, I’ve stopped impulsively buying bottles. This beauty fits perfectly in a cup holder, it’s not top heavy (like the skinny hydroflask of a similar capacity), it HAS A STRAW that does not leak (rectangle shape doesn’t bother me at all), comes with a bottom bumper (no clanging when you set it down), looks sleek and cute, it’s a great price, and most importantly it’s the right size to keep it from being awkward and heavy but still holds the right amount of water to keep me hydrated for a couple hours on the go.

I supposed the only downside is that it doesn’t hold every drop i need for the day, but oh well, I just refill it every few hours. It’s actually keeping me more hydrated because it’s easy to take with me, rather than filling up the 40 oz boat anchor with good intentions, but leaving her in the car.

My wife bought one of the 24oz bottles in pink a few years ago. We travel often and she always brings it with her. She takes it to work and anytime she is out of the house. On our most recent trip, there was a layover in Las Vegas.

After checking into the hotel, we left it on the nightstand while we went out for drinks. Got back late. Slept in a little then, on the way out in the morning we were in a rush. We got to the airport and realized that she did not have her bottle.

Called the hotel and, of course, it was not found in the room. She was very sad and I bought a replacement one for her. She is loving the new bottle and I have got to say that the lid is better made than the bottle I have had for about 5 years now.

The handle has grown to be a little thicker which makes it feel better when carrying on hikes. I have a 40oz bottle and now I wish I had that lid on my old bottle. The rubber anti-slip bottom lip is also really great.

My old bottle does not have that either. Great bottles and they last a very long time. I highly recommend them to anyone.

This is a great water bottle. It does not leak. It’s a great price. I got it from Walmart and believe it was only around $13 – $15. It’s stainless steel so stays cold for many hours. I have not tried anything hot yet.

It also has a lifetime warranty. I like the handle which appears yo be pretty sturdy. only reason I hesitated prior to buying is because of the flip top piece to open the water spout. on another brand I had that piece kept breaking making it very difficult to open the spout.

But the design on this bottle is different and has hardware so it won’t just break off. I would recommend this product.

I wanted a container that would hold a lot of water/sports drinks etc. , because I love to hike and often a 24 oz bottle just isn’t big enough for me. I also wanted one that would keep my cold drinks cold all day and my hot drinks hot.

I love the fact that it has a stainless steel interior because I’m not a huge fan of plastic bottles. The color is described as licorice and it is indeed a deep black color. Another feature I like is the wide mouth and the screw off top.

The lid has a built in handle, making it convenient to carry. In the past I have had bottles that had drinking caps that were not easily cleaned and sometimes I felt they weren’t clean enough. This bottle solves those problems.

I have mostly used this for cold drinks, but did use it to keep hot chocolate warm, and it did a great job. Because of its size it won’t fit into my cars console, but you can’t have it both ways, and I like having the large container.

It’s easy grip as the outside material is rubberized. And the bottle is dishwasher safe.

I recently received this product and have nothing but great things to say about it. I love the handle and the soft feel around the bottle. It makes it easy to use a “D” clip and hang it on strollers or backpacks.

Another benefit of this Bubba cup is that it keeps my drink cold with ice for a couple of days. The product is of great quality since I have accidentally dropped it on cement a few times. I took it to an amusement park with me and it lasts nearly all day until I needed to fill it.

It definitely kept my drink cold for the entire day at 80+ degree weather. It has become my go-to for amusement parks now. I would recommend this and it is affordable.

This is, without a doubt, the best water bottle that I have ever used. The wide mouth allows you to add ice cubes, sliced fruit, or whatever else you desire to your water, and the top screws on tightly so you can bring it anywhere with you without worrying about spills.

The flexible silicone handle also makes it easy to carry around in your hand, although I would probably recommend getting a bottle sling if you want to attach it to a bike or something. For such a huge capacity, the size really isn’t that bulky, and the fact that you don’t need to refill very often makes it super convenient and simple to stay hydrated.

However, what really amazed me about the HydroFlask was how well it insulates my drinks! I can throw in a few ice cubes, fill it up the rest of the way, and the liquid inside will stay cold for hours as long as the lid is screwed on.

I’ve tested it by leaving it at room temperature for over twelve hours, and there was still frozen ice inside when I checked. The only downside I’ve noticed is that if you fill it up too much and there is a lot of ice inside, a vacuum somehow forms inside the bottle that makes the lid very difficult to unscrew.

I’m not sure how or why this happens, but it probably has something to do with the air at the top of the bottle becoming denser at a lower temperature. That said, it’s not that difficult to avoid, and the fact that it happens at all is a great testimony to how tight the seal on this bottle is.

My Hydro Flask is the best water bottle I have ever had. With all the different colors and sizes to choose from, I had an easy time finding the one I liked most. They are easy to take with you wherever you go as well.

Personalization wise, they are very good with stickers. You can put on whatever stickers you want to make it more personal to you. I have put stickers on mine and none of them are even close to coming off.

Just make sure when you put one on, you want it on for good. Another thing I like is how there are many different types of lids that you can use and switch out whenever you want. I have been staying hydrated ever since I got my Hydro Flask because I can carry water with me everywhere I go.

The accessibility of a Hydro Flask is just what anyone would need in a water bottle. Most Hydro Flasks range from 30-50 dollars. Which to me, is quite a lot for something you are just going to be putting water in.

But let me tell you now, it is worth the money. In the mornings, when I put water and ice in my Hydro Flask, I can leave it somewhere for the whole day and when I come back for it, the ice is still there.

Or when it is cold and I’m wanting some hot chocolate, I could bring it in my Hydro Flask and it would stay warm for a really long period of time. None of my other water bottles or containers can do that.

The Hydro Flask that I have now has lasted me 3 years and is still in almost perfect condition. The only reason it wouldn’t be in perfect condition is because I drop it every once in a while and it has some scratches and a couple dents.

If I was more careful, it would look brand new. Hydro Flasks are definitely worth the money and I would recommend everyone get one.

This is not my first experience with the Hydro Flask brand but it is my first experience with this particular insulated water bottle. This 32 oz vacuum, insulated, stainless steel water bottle from Hydro Flask is perfect for my needs.

I have been taking it on walks and it is the perfect size. I have also taken it on every trip out of the house. I have been using it to hold water and it truly keeps it cold for 24 hours. I like that it has a wide mouth for faster fill.

I like that it is made from high quality stainless steel. The stainless steel makes it very durable. My toddler has dropped the water bottle on several occasions and the falls have not damage the water bottle at all.

I really like the cool blue color. One of the best things about this water bottle made with Color Last Powder is that it is dishwasher safe. This is a must have feature as a busy mom. The only thing that I don’t like about this water bottle is that it doesn’t come with multiple lids.

I really wish that it came with a wide mouth straw lid. Overall I am really happy with this water bottle and I recommend it to everyone who needs to take a drink on the go.

I found the bottle on Amazon initially, where it had really good reviews, and I was delighted to see that I could purchase from them directly! I got the black water bottle with silver stars. Two days in, while it was attached to the outside of my backpack, I brushed up against a bus stop, causing a white smudge to appear on the water bottle.

I carefully scratched the smudge off, and the black paint beneath was completely undamaged, which I was not expecting, which was wonderful to see. They also provide an extra straw with the order, which is nice to have in case you lose one, or the other gets damaged, not that that’s likely to happen considering how thick the straw is.

The straw occasionally makes a soft whistling sound, which usually disappears after a couple of sips, but it’s a much softer noise than most of my previous water bottles with straws, so I can’t fault them on that.

Also, this thing does not drip as long as the lid’s on tight, though I’ve never tried that with a super full bottle, so I can’t vouch for that situation. The water stays cold for the entire day, which I wasn’t expecting considering the thinness of the walls, but I also live in a colder climate and I’m not outside all day, so I can’t say that it’ll stay cold for, say, an entire day hiking in Arizona or something, but all of the ice cubes I put in in the morning are still there when I get home in the evening.

The only thing I can fault them for is something entirely inconsequential and incredibly minor, and that is that sometimes the mouthpiece tilts slightly to the side, but that’s easily fixed by pushing it back into place.

Overall, I’m super happy with this!.

I ordered the Sunshine Color 64 oz summit bottle to help with my goal of consuming more water. *Things I love: (1)-Does not leak, I can throw this in my work bag or purse and it rolls all around my car, and doesn’t leak! – (2) I love the straw lid, i have always felt it was easier to meet my goals drinking water when I’m sipping vs.

chugging. The straw lid also has a nice handle that makes carrying the bottle very convenient!- (3) the bright color! – (4) keeps my water and ice for a long time. I fill my waterbottle with a little bit of ice and some filtered water before going to bed to make the mornings easier, and when I use it the next morning my ice is still in there and the water is still cold.

(5) This bottle is dishwasher safe!!!! I had researched MANY water bottles when shopping for the perfect bottle and so many are not able to go in the diswasher. *Things I do not love (but, it’s okay.

) -(1) not the easiest to put ice in. Some cubes go in from the fridge spout, but most end up on the floor. I use a cup to put ice in the bottle. – (2) The straw doesn’t get all of the water out. It gets most out- more than I thought it would due to visually seeing the straw when unpacking, but I often take the lid off and drink the rest before refilling.

(3) initial unpacking- there was papers inside the water bottle, one coupon card was very difficult to remove as it was stuck -wedged completely. Shaking and knocking it on a counter didn’t remove it, my kitchen spoons didn’t fit down in to knock it loose.

straw was too short to touch it. eventually got it loose and out of the bottle after about 15 minutes of work and finding something in my kitchen that fit!.

I ordered this bottle from Amazon. I checked the box for new but there was a “used” price for $4-5 less which seemed disgusting to be honest. Bottle arrives in a shipping bag that when I open the bag I immediately see the mailing order for the previous buyer still on the box.

Already upset, I do a quick check of the opened box see it’s missing things. The bottle is supposed to have a straw cap, two straws and a chug cap. Well no chug cap or straws. I call Amazon and they won’t apologize and question if I’m lying.

Feed up I call simple modern and have a wonderful chat with their customer service. They were shocked to learn Amazon sells “used” bottles and that I got a return bottle sent to me. They apologized for amazons multiple errors and send me a brand new bottle for free.

I already had two bottles from them already but they have a loyal customer.

So I bought this bottle as my daughters previous bottle was plastic and it always seemed to give a plastic taste once the water sat in it for a while particularly in warmer weather. My daughter isn’t a big water drinker actually she’s just not a good drinker period.

That’s always been hard for me to get her to drink. With this bottle it seems much easier. The water stays cold even if not refrigerated and the quantity seems just right for her. Not too little not too much.

It is a little on the heavier side but that was expected as it is stainless steel inside after all. Like the little holding loop for little hands. I’m super happy with my purchase.

I am a very active person and am constantly hydrating to keep myself healthy. I play soccer so I have to have plenty of water in my system for practices and games. I also enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paddle boarding, boating, camping, swimming, and skiing.

For all of these activities I need cool water available at all times, especially for the ones that are completed in the heat of summer. When I am outdoors and being active I don’t always have access to clean water to refill my water bottle, so it is imperative that I am able to carry enough water to keep hydrated.

I am going to be reviewing Hydro Flasks, but specifically the 40 oz Hibiscus colored Hydro Flask. Having a 40 oz Hydro Flask makes it so I don’t have to constantly worry about refilling my water bottle, at least for a few hours.

I can’t stand it when my water gets hot or when I run out of water in general. I can’t drink water if it isn’t cold, it just doesn’t taste good to me. With a Hydro Flask I never have that problem. If I put ice into my Hydro Flask it keeps my water cold for the whole day and often times even into the next day.

Women are supposed to drink 2. 7 liters of water a day which converts to 91. 2979 ounces. That means you would only need to fill up a 40 oz Hydro Flask 3 times a day. Men are supposed to drink 3. 7 liters of water a day which converts to 125.

112 ounces. That means they would only have to fill up a 40 oz Hydro Flask 4 times a day. Hydro Flasks are also available in a 24 oz, 32 oz, and even a 64 oz model. With a 65 oz Hydro Flask men or women would only have to fill up their hydro flasks twice a day.

Not only do Hydro Flasks make water bottles to keep you hydrated but they also make tumblers and mugs to keep your hot drinks hot. They are constantly coming out with new colors to choose from as well.

Right now their colors are black, white, stone, olive, cobalt, pacific, alpine, carnation, pineapple, fog, watermelon, hibiscus, sunflower, and spearmint. I started using a Hydro Flask when one of my teammates acquired one.

She would rave over her new water bottle and how it always keeps her water cold during the hottest practices. After a while I decided to take the leap and purchase a Hydro Flask myself. The new water bottle lived up to all the hype and it definitely exceeded my expectations.

Hydro Flasks pros definitely outweigh the cons. Such as being insulated to keep your drink at the desired temperature, and a variety of sizes and colors you can pick from. The major con to the Hydro Flask product is how easily they dent and scratch.

If you are clumsy like myself and drop things constantly, your Hydro Flask will likely have a few bumps and bruises on it. Overall, I think everyone needs a Hydro Flask for their day to day use no matter what that entails.

I bought my 40oz bottle in January and have used it ever since (about 8 months). I clean it frequently because if I notice the water tastes slightly differently it freaks me out. Today while cleaning my bottle I noticed ORANGE SPOTS on the inside.

I scrubbed it with a brush and it didn’t come off. After taking some photos I came to the conclusion that it was RUST!! I have no idea how long I have been drinking rust for. I have only ever put water in my bottle so there is no way it somehow got stained by something else.

This is unacceptable. I hope I don’t get sick.

My boyfriend got me this a month ago because he was tired of me drinking out of his water bottle and I love it. I am almost too hydrated. It’s surprisingly not cumbersome at all despite being able to hold 40oz and my water is always cold and refreshing.

I will say I am not a fan of unscrewing the lid and banging the metal rim on my mouth every time I want to take a drink so I also got the straw lid and boot to go along with this. I bought the color Fog and got it super on sale for under $30 as seasonal hydroflask collection colors always go on sale at the end of the season before they release new colors.

Would recommend waiting for a sale.

I purchased one of these while on vacation because I lost my HydroFlask. I really wasn’t expecting much, but I have to say I am very impressed. This Bubba keeps my water as cold as my Hydoflask. I can fill my Bubba with 1/2 ice and 1/2 water and still have ice cold water 24 hours later.

I live in Arizona so that is a life saver. In terms of durability I would also have to give the victory to the Bubba. I have dropped my Bubba numerous times and it hasn’t shown much damage. There is a rubber bumper guard on the bottom which has taken the majority of the fall damage.

Most importantly the drops didn’t effect the bottles ability to keep liquids cold. That is something I experienced with my HydroFlask. In you dent one deep enough it won’t keep liquids cold anymore. An added bonus is that the Bubba bottles accept the same lids / straws as my other HydroFlasks.

It was also about 1/2 the price. Great product, I just wish they made the big 60oz bottles in OD Green color.

I have been through TOO MANY water bottles in my life. The plastic ones shatter when dropped, the metal ones dent when dropped, and they’re all just so easy TO DROP. And the LEAKS! I can’t even tell you how many puddles I’ve caused from toting my water bottles around with me on the daily.

There are THREE things that make this the best water bottle in the world: 1. It is HARD TO DROP, even for me! I just hook my finger through that little bendy hooky thing up top, close my fist, and that sucker stays on me! I walk everywhere with this thing, and when I’m holding it through the loop, it is basically UNDROPPABLE! When I’m drinking from it, the little hand indentation up at the top of the water bottle is a very comfortable fit, and even when the bottle is full and heavy, it feels very balanced.

2. WHEN I drop it, it DOESN’T breaks! Let’s face it: I am forgetful and clumsy. There are times when I don’t hold the bottle in an undroppable way. There are times when the bottle is sitting on my desk and I accidentally swipe it off.

There was even this one time when I threw it into the air and then failed to catch it. But through all these drops, this bottle has not cracked yet. And a couple of my drops have been when the bottle was fullish.

That being said, I haven’t had TOO many major drops (thanks to the bottle’s undroppableness) so I wouldn’t try pushing your luck with this one. But a lot can be said just from the fact that this bottle has survived a year of daily use with ME, a certified water bottle destroyer.

3. IT DOESN’T LEAK! This bottle has something that’s hard to find these days: A TOP THAT ACTUALLY WORKS! I have NEVER experienced a single leak with this bottle – NOT EVEN ONE! I throw my bottle into my bookbag all the time, with precious lecture notes and expensive textbooks, some of which are rented and must be returned, and I can do so with FULL CONFIDENCE that my water bottle will not leak on them! I’m not talking the side pocket of my bookbag, I am talking in the main zipper with all of my other stuff.

I make ZERO EFFORT to be careful when the bottle is in my bookbag. All-day long that bookbag bumps into desks, walls, people, gets turned upside down, gets thrown on the floor, sat on, turned upside down, etc.

This sucker doesn’t leak.

This is a really good water bottle. I fill it about halfway with ice and refill with water as needed and it will still have some ice in it 24 hours later unless I’ve filled it with room-temp water (which will melt the ice a little) or left it in a hot car for hours.

Because of the straw, I don’t use this for hot drinks. I really like that it has a straw, though, so I can get a drink discreetly at work instead of having to lift and chug. What I like BEST, however, is the covered spout- you don’t have to touch it when you open to drink, and it’s covered when closed so it isn’t exposed to dirt and germs in the meantime.

It is kinda big- great if you want to drink more water, not so much if you’re walking and have small hands like I do. The handle makes it easier to carry, but I also put a couple of colorful wide rubber bands where you hold it to make it easier to grab.

I am in LOVE with my teak roamer. The size is perfect, it keeps my water cold for days, it’s beautiful, I get compliments all the time…. but…. the little handle breaks all of the time. I have gone through so many handles over the past couple of years.

Customer service is always awesome about sending me a replacement but I am tired of having to reach out to request a replacement. I’m not hard on my bottle at all. The handle on this just doesn’t hold up.

The last handle I replaced broke two days later. I’m giving up and making my own handle out of paracord. Without the handle, this bottle is very cumbersome to carry. Just something to consider when choosing this bottle.

What a cool looking water bottle. That was the initial attraction for me. Size does matter with this guy. It’s pretty large would help me get my water intake easier, as I needed to drink 2. 5 of them a day.

I got tons of complements on the way this looked. It’s perfect for camping and it keeps my water cool. If i fill it up with ice, it’s still in there the next day.

One of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. I live at the beach and cannot stand when I run out of cold water. This holds so much liquid and keeps it ice cold forever! I bought white so it wouldn’t attract the sun and I literally leave it on the beach all day with the sun beating on it and the outside doesn’t even get hot.

I am amazed at how well S’Well products work. I have had other brands and they do not even compare to the quality and effectiveness of this brand. I love that this size has a handle on it – it is quite large and almost intimidating at first but so necessary when you’re going to be somewhere for a while and want to make sure you don’t get thirsty! Highly recommend this brand and this specific product.

I absolutely love it.

It’s a little pricey compared to other bottles but it’s worth every penny because the whole thing. the whole thing. is dishwasher safe! I work long hours in a hot factory, and I hate having to clean my bottles.

I only ever put water in them so the sugar doesn’t grow mold on the gaskets (ew!). Now that I have this bad boy, I’m bringing iced Gatorade and come winter I’ll bring iced coffee! Speaking of ice, if I fill it with iced gatorade and don’t drink it until the next day, there’s still ice in it.

A coworker with the same bottle says she leaves it her hot car and it’s the same way! The only thing I don’t like is the slow drink rate. Slow by my standards. I’m in a position where I need to chug as much as I can when the supervisor leaves the production floor, plus seconds wasted hurts my numbers.

I suck as hard as I can on this thing, and sometimes I’ll suck in some air with the liquid. This is not a chugging bottle. It’s a sipping bottle. It makes up for it by being fast to put away if I see the supervisor coming.

Just snap down the cover and drop it in the bin. (I know it sounds terrible. Supervisor: “It’s hot! Drink lots of water!”. also Supervisor: “Why aren’t your hands on your machine???”) Anyways, all that said, I plan to buy two more of these.

These are the best bottles I’ve ever used.

I love the design, especially the straw lid and double- walled stainless steel that keeps everything cold for longer than I’ve ever needed. Yes; I do wish it would fit in most cupholders but; to be honest, I fault the automotive designers who still haven’t all caught on to the fact that people want to be able to stay hydrated for long periods of time and small , 22oz or less bottles won’t cut it.

Many people I know carry 64oz or more ( anyone doubt that? Check out sales of a double big gulp at 7-11). It is naive to think cup holders can’t be design to expand or shrink go fit most sizes today.

I’ve seen cars with them, so it is doable if desired. Also; cleaning is no big deal, the most challenging parts are the straw and lid which may wear down over time but there are many sustainable replacements available that are not too costly and coming down in price over time as well.

I paid more than the current price here but still feel it has been worth every penny for keeping my stuff cold. I hate room temp beverages and never deal with that anymore. Even the ice lasts for hours if you like ice in your drinks.

Keeps drinks cold, but leaks when on its side. I have only used mine for about 3 weeks and it seemed great at first. However, I have found that if you fill too full, then flip the straw piece on the top to take a drink, it will projectile shoot water in your face.

Not particularly fun to experience. Also, it has recently started randomly spewing out the top (even after taking a few sips)…. I looked over tonight and there was a puddle of water standing on my nightstand, and it soaked a book that was beside the bottle as well.

I wasn’t particularly happy about that either. Not sure if pressure inside the bottle made it seep up through the straw or what, but it was definitely not full when it did that bc I had already had some sips.

Crazy, because I don’t really trust the bottle now.

Temperature keeping (9/10) I’ll fill it the night before and it’ll still be cold and filled with ice the next day and stay cold for the whole day! As for hot water, it doesn’t last quite as long. It is hot for most of the day by, but is warm at the end.

Still pretty darn good if you ask me, cause I mean you will have probably drunken all the water by then lolol Quality (10/10) This is actually the second time I am getting a Thermoflask as I was gifted one by my cousin in 2019 which has lasted me until now! And the only reason I needed to replace it was cause I am a clutz, lost the silicon bumper and dropped it so much the bottom is beyond recognition.

Design (10/10) The original design was already great but the refined version is even better. The wider handle allows me to fit all my fingers when holding the bottle and the silicon seals come with tabs so you can pull them out to clean (preventing mould) LOVE THIS.

The silicon bumper at the bottom is THE BEST, Yetti’s and hydro flasks (also unnecessarily $$$) don’t have them and are so loud when you set them down. It also protects the paint from being scratched or dented.

AND THE LIDDDDD I just love that the drinking spout lid is attached and clicks into place when drinking so you never lose it or have to set it down on a dirtysurface. Value 11/10 You get two bottles for roughly $48, that’s $24 EACH!!! considering other brands usually go for $50 each for smaller capacities and IT IS A STEALLL.

Not to mention, I prefer the design features of the Thermoflask so so so much more. Yetti and Hydro flask is just brand hype lololol cause they all do the same thing! Note I have no idea why it is listed as 1.

I’ll be honest: I have my share of water bottles, and this may make me throw them all in the recycle bin/trash. This is a 40 oz bottle with chug lid. It’s aluminum. It’s insulated. And it’s pretty badass! For starters, mine is a neat charcoal color.

The painted (powder coated?) aluminum has a slight texture to it that strikes the perfect balance of texture and smooth — it’s grippy, but not what I would classify as “rough. ” Next, check out the size — this thing is massive! However, that is a slight negative for me, as it doesn’t exactly fit in the cup holder of my car.

Please take that fact under advisement. I like the “chug lid” on this thing. It’s a cap that is built in the the fill lid and unscrews. It’s nifty. It’s also the perfect size for my mouth, but maybe it won’t be the perfect size for yours.

The chug lid is built in to a hook. It hinges. That’s pretty cool. As for the hook, I’m not quite sure what purpose this serves, except maybe to clip your keys to it. I don’t know, and I have another bottle that also has this feature.

Overall, the design is well-executed and relatively simple. It’s kinda pricey, but I’m not where it sits compared to its competition. It’s a slick bottle, and I really like it, though the size is a bit if a drawback for me.

I purchased the 40oz and 24oz ThermoFlasks from Costco about a year ago, and they’re the best! Friends have purchased HydroFlasks for more than twice the unit price, they didn’t get chug lids AND straw lids.

and other than the logo and color options available, I can’t tell the difference. They hold up well to daily use, are fairly easy to clean (I got silicone brush and straw cleaner sets at Bed, Bath & Beyond for under $10 per set).

For those complaining that the seals are compromised after running through the dishwasher, the bottle itself says wash by hand, so I just wash it all and am good to go. The only bummer is, the 40oz is my favorite and it doesn’t fit in any of our vehicle cup holders.

We have the small ones for that, but I still carry the larger bottles around with me, too. I wish there was a sturdy adapter that could be used for this purpose.

This is my second 32 oz. HydroFlask. The first one was purchased in 2015 and went everywhere with me. I’m talking daily use as my primary source of hydration, even at home. I like my water COLD, all the time.

The old flask was really beaten up (dropped it a number of times before I even got a silicone cover for it,) but after 7 years of faithful service, suddenly the insulating properties failed completely.

It went from keeping ice frozen for 24 hours, to actually sweating with condensation, overnight. I definitely got my money’s worth out of the first one, so why would I mess with success? You didn’t have my original color (it was purchased from WowWow Lemonade in Wahiawa, Hawaii with their logo engraved on an orange background) so it was time for a change.

I like the new design of the neck, and since I’d had to purchase an after-market lid for the original one, I was thrilled to once more enjoy the quality of a branded top. Nothing compares to the quality of a HydroFlask.

The Hydroflask 32 oz wide mouth is an absolute necessity for me! My drinks stay cold, my ice lasts all day and with the large capacity–I’m not constantly needing to refill it. The hot drinks stay hot for hours as well! This is solid, metal and has survived many accidental drops and still looks brand new.

Ice easily fits in the wide spout without any extra steps. The handle is solid and perfect for carrying on the go. This water bottle is absolutely leak proof, I can comfortably toss in my bag and know it is not leaking at all.

I love the sharp red color, it’s vibrant, easy to spot and just a classic pretty color. This water bottle is dish washer safe, making my life even easier being able to toss it on the top shelf and not have to scrub it out by hand every day! I anticipate this bottle will last years and years–it’s high quality and exactly what I need.

What can I say that I haven’t already said before? This is my second Iron Flask bottle. My first one did everything I could ever expect out of a bottle. It kept my drinks ice cold for more than 18 hours.

Around 9 AM, almost every morning, I fill my bottles with ice and then water, or more accurately, Monster Zero energy drink. That lasts me well past midnight, when I refill my bottle which usually still has half the ice left.

That’s really great performance. I expect nothing less with my new bottle.

Yes, I bought replacement parts for my original Iron Flax bottle, AND I bought a second bottle too. These things are great and don’t fail like the original “Thermos Bottles” did when dropped. I remember that those original ones were great too.

It’s an example of technology advances. If you need it, buy it, it was worth it to me.

Bought this as a replacement and it’s amazing! Especially liked that it came with 3 different lid options as most come with one and you have to buy the others separately. Straws are good, not too hard that they hurt if you accidentally miss your mouth.

I bought this hydroflask water bottle about 4 months ago! It gets the job done. Some features included with this water bottle are: Easy to carry by the lid Nice color options Simple logo on the front Some pros of this water bottle include: Keeps my water cold all day The straw is easy to use and clean Can get in many sizes A con of this water bottle includes: It dents easily, but a resolution for it is to get a rubber cover for the bottom of it which will prevent some denting.

My opinion: Ever since I got this water bottle I have really liked it. When I first opened it I was in love with the color! I use this water bottle every day. Before I had this hydroflask I used to have a teal one and I loved that one as well! This water bottle is very user friendly so everyone.

I think that the target users are athletes because many athletes drink lots of fluids in a day. Overall this product is definitely worth buying!.

There are so many things to love about this water bottle. It has such a minimalistic and sleek design, and the color is very bright. It’s the perfect size for urban day to day use. Its tall and skinny design makes it easy to carry around, and it fits in my car’s cup holder.

I like that it has a carry strap so I can grab it or even use the carabiner to attach it to my bag or bicycle. The coat is grippy in texture so it is very easy for me to hold onto a bottle, but still slippery enough to slide into any pocket or corner of a bag.

The lid is easy to open and close with sweaty hands and it’s completely watertight. It really keeps your drinks cold/hot for said amount of time and the mouth is wide enough that I can put ice in the bottle as well as get a brush in there to clean it.

Unlike some other bottles, It is comfortable to drink directly from because the threads are on the inside of the mouth spout so lips cannot touch screw threads. I definitely recommend this water bottle!.

I bought a water bottle from Coldest. Got a water bottle that had the engraving Degenerate on it. I had to return that bottle to them. They reprocessed my bottle order. Didn’t add my engraving from my original order.

I had to ask to get that refunded. I thought I would get a discount or a apology gift for taking my time to fix their mistake. Nope. So if you get the wrong order do not expect to be compensated for returning everything and fixing their mistake.

Let me start out by saying that I own many Yeti products. I own coffee mugs, water bottles, and various other cups. The Coldest Water bottles keep drinks colder for longer than Yeti bottles do. I have a 32oz bottle that I take to work with me.

I work anywhere from 12-18 hours during a shift, and my drink is always cold even after my shift ends. I also bought The Coldest Water ankle/foot wrap when I had achilles tendonitis, and it helped me alot too.

We have tried so many brands that supposed to keep your water cold for a long time well none never did keep it cold for over 2hrs. So I watch alot of YouTube and some of my favorite people was talking about this brand and how they fell in love with it, trust me I was idk but than someone I know got one and told us we had to get us some.

Let’s just say this had changed my life it keeps your drinks especially water super cold like over 24hrs. I out ice and water in it in the morning wake up next day still ice in it and still super cold plus you can get your name in graved on the bottle to like mine and some you can now get more personalized colors and bands for yours.

So I definitely highly recommend this product would love to try more from them like their pillows😉.

This bottle is perfect for me. I was looking for a cup that wouldn’t leak and leave a ring on my desk, keep my drink cold, and would hold enough ounces I wanted. The cup doesn’t leak all over my desk or leave my hands wet from picking it up like other cups.

It really does keep things cold, I’ve left it with ice and water inside in my car while I ran errands and keep it by my bedside for when I wake up at night and when I wake in the morning to refill it, it’s still ice cold.

And it holds 40oz of water so I don’t have to keep getting up to refill it. It shipped really quickly, I liked that. I was worried about being able to hold it because it looked really smooth but the cup has some grip to it so my small hands have no problem holding on to it.

I take this cup with me everywhere. I have no complaints.

I received the thermos very quickly. I really like it, if you put ice cubes in with your drink, it will still have ice in it on the second day.

I bought the one gallon jug because I needed a source of hydration at work since they shut off the water fountains and the sink water tasted off. I went with the navy color and it looks great. No flashy logo, just a subtle R.

The jug itself feels solid and well built. The stainless inside looks cleanly finished with just the one seam. The mouth opening is plenty large – I have fairly large hands and have no issues reaching inside to clean.

Most importantly for me, it keeps water cold all day, without any ice. I’m sure you could easily last 24 hours of cold water using ice. Last positive is the cost. This is a very affordable option for the quality you get.

This jug does the exact same thing for a third the price. Much more reasonable than the competitor (the name I can’t remember, starts with Y. ). The negative for me, like others have reviewed, is the lid.

It looks good, but it doesn’t feel good. It feels like cheap plastic that’s going to break if dropped. The handle is wrapped in a foam tube, which although comfortable, feels like it’s going to wear out fairly quickly.

After just a few days, I can see it compressing and loosening from being carried. I think rubber would have been a better choice for durability. Worst of all the opening to drink from is WAY too small.

It’s about a 1/2″ in diameter, so the flow comes out as a medium-trickle. About half of the time I get impatient and take the lid off to drink straight from the jug. A larger opening or a small hole to equalize the air pressure when drinking are really needed to fix this.

Honestly, not even a fix – that’s the way it should have been designed. It’s a real shame cause the jug itself is fantastic but the lid seems like an afterthought. Or that they spent all the cost in the jug and only had a couple bucks left for the lid.

I hope RTIC releases a better lid; I would gladly shell out for it. All in all, it would be worth 5 stars for the quality you get for the cost, but I took two stars off because of the lid. Pros -Looks good and cleanly finished -Feels durable and well built -Does what its supposed to do (keeps cold cold, keeps hot hot) -Cost for the quality cannot be beaten Cons -The lid is terrible and needs redesigned (poor construction materials, too small drinking opening, feels cheap).

I purchased this to replace my water that I had for over 10 years and use to put in the freezer. While no company will ever make a bottle better then the one I had, this one does stack up to it. Although, if you do not put a full tray of ice in the container, the ice will melt within two hours! By the way, you cannot over fill your ice tray or else the ice will not fit.

Keep in mind the bottle is in a cold bag inside a store with the tempature set at 75 degree, and no sun light, and the ice still melted! Also, if you do purchase this bottle, be sure to pick up a scrub brush as this will be the only way to clean it because the opening is too small, even for some of the ice cubes! In the end, even though the ice does melt and does not always fit, the internal temperature of the water does stay cold.

Please note, I only use this bottle for water at work in a retail store.

Just received my 1/2 gallon jug and used it for my shift at work and have nothing bad to say really. Read the reviews about it pouring slow and it does but if you suck on the spout like you do the sport Gatorade bottles you get alot more water.

Kept ice pretty good if filled at least half way up. I work in a factory so it keeping ice even in a hot environment is great. Handle feels sturdy no worry of the handle popping out of the top. Nice foam grip at the top of the handle so it’s comfortable to hold for extended periods of time.

So far it’s great and definitely worth the price and the shipping time was pretty fast for me. I received it within a few days of ordering.
