20 Best 45 Degree Offset Mount (2022 Updated)

It’s really pretty, but the measurements do not match what I was expecting based on the description the top part that goes across the fireplace is very broad, and therefore you need longer side pieces to make the measurements work.

Will be returning.

Ordered 2 MA slope adapter to hand on minks raptor fan with a 24” pole and one with a 36 pole. Both areas have sloped ceilings. An licensed electrician hung the fans and he said the adapters were not well made.

Both fans shake on medium to high speeds I’m very disappointed.

I purchased this because it was stated that it worked for high angle ceilings. It did not allow the ceiling fan rod to hang directly down to the ground. Seemed to be sitting off. I ended up retro fitting the old bracket, luckily i made it work.

I have an 06 VTX 1300C. I just put on LeatherLyke bags which are very large in size and cover that space. In doing so, the distance and space available for the passenger leg area was greatly reduced at the foot pegs.

I already have the Kury Swing Wings in place. However, I needed a way to extend them forward to open the seated leg spacing for my wife. Especially in long trips. Kury makes 2 version so f these. One in a 2 inch and one in a 4 inch.

I chose the 2 inch and found them to be perfect. The nice thing about these are that you need to swap the adapters from the current peg mounts to the other side and the ones that come with these extensions back into their place in order to have the right mount at the right place at the bike and the pegs.

But once done, they can be infinitely adjusted for the perfect fit. We tested them with a 6 hour trip. Highly recommend these in either length should you need to extend your passenger peg locations.

The only real complaint I have (other than the inaccurate level) is the lack of back side space. Once the TV is mounted, you better have everything you need hooked up properly. Check every connection before you put your TV on this unit.

It holds my 85″ Sony just fine. Weight is not a problem. ( I anchored 6 bolts to my studs). The angle is not easily adjusted, and is very limited in range. I did like that I could slide the TV side to side on this unit before I screwed it down.

You need a loooong Phillip’s screwdriver to reach the screws.

No problems with the mount – it’s great. But it would have been nice if their instructions included a reminder step about the need to measure the height and width of your TV, the height and width of the wall mount, figuring out the centers of each, and locating the planned center point of the TV after you hang it.

I mounted this very near an old mount, and the new larger TV ended up being about 10 inches lower than I would have liked. too much work to remove and reinstall (so I’ll live with it).

Highly recommended. Easy to fit, the little level helps but I didn’t rely on it. Only criticism is that it could be a little too short to bridge 18-inch spaced wall studs unless your TV will sit pretty centrally over the middle stud.

Otherwise the TV will sit to one side of the wall bracket center-line, which may or may not be a problem depending on the size of your TV – the ends of the wall bracket could, in extremis, poke out from behind the TV.

With my 60-inch Samsung, it wasn’t a problem, but for 50-inch and smaller you might want to check first.

Definitely, the way to go with a wall-mounted tv. Do not bother with a single arm unit – it will never be level. The dual arms were great, very stiff, and over tightened out of the box though but after a bit of a loosen they work great.

The TV swings freely from side to side, in and out as straight as an arrow. I would like to see a mounting option without the long rails. In my case, I was attaching this unit to a vertical beam, so I removed the top and bottom rails (which are for studded walls) and used the up arrow hole in the top and a handy hole in the bottom.

worked perfectly. The TV mounting brackets that came with it for my LG 49″ TV were long for a VESA400 mount, and overhung my TV plug and covers my optical, coaxial plugs. Not a whole lot Kanto can do about this, just poor placement of stuff for my TV (maybe I should get a bigger TV LOL) Overall very happy, if I mount another TV it will be using these.

I just bought and installed the Kanto PDX 650 TV mount. What great product. I’m so used to receiving the IKEA bag of nuts, bolts, dowels and an Allen Key in a bag that I was pleasantly surprised to find the hardware so well organized in the packaging for this product.

It feels like whoever designed this may have actually tried to install it as if they were a consumer and thus got all the glitches out. I fully expected a challenge installing this but it turned out to be a piece of cake.

The template is great and the little dust collection tray at the bottom is really thoughtful and makes for a relatively low mess install. I found the installation video extremely helpful and I would highly recommend watching it prior to and during installation.

Also don’t neglect the written instructions. If you follow them exactly you will have no issues with your installation. I used it to mount a 58 inch Samsung TV. No issues. Found the appropriate bolts provided and everything worked as it was supposed too.

Provides lots of great options for angles to watch the TV. Great product and price. Highly recommend!!.

I have come to really like and respect the Vortex brand as being good quality with an affordable price tag. Some may have had a negative experience but as for myself it has all been positive so far. I paired this mount with a Crossfire II 6-18×44 AO on a SA Saint Victor in.

308 and it clears the rear flip up sight in the down position. No spacer needed. Very pleased so far.

I bought two of these Vortex scope mounts and I am pleased. I put one on my 458 SOCOM and the other on my grandson’s 450 Bushmaster. Both are rock solid on the pic rails and we’re holding zero after 25+ rounds each.

Time will tell, but much better than previous mounts. We used Vortex scopes with these Vortex mounts.

The two brackets seem to also be a bit more secure than a single one. The hardware that comes with the mount is once again useless; thankfully the Sony TV I mounted with this came with the proper spacers and screws that I could use.

Needed completely different hardware for the wall, nothing was usable from the included bag.

This is a nice mount, has all the appearance of beefiness, but is actually pretty weak. It’s rated for 115 pounds, but there is no way it could hold that. My TV is just over 60 pounds, and it sags a LOT.

I’ve cranked everything as tight as possible, and I don’t even have it extended very far, and it just sags. Fortunately, it sits right about the cabinet, and I was able to prop it up with some pads, so the mount holds it roughly in place while the pads stop it from sinking.

So, long story short, I wouldn’t suggest this mount for any TV over about 40 pounds.

Works Great. But for my piece of mind i wish the mounting bracket on the wall was a little longer on each side so that instead of having 4 screws in a stud you can get all 8 in studs. More for my piece of mind.

Regardless its doing everything i want.

I was very impressed with this Kanto TV wall mount. To start it is very well packaged for protection during shipment and no loose items rattling around in the box. Upon opening the box I immediately noticed the clean design and nice black finish.

The Kanto mount has the look and feel of a quality piece of engineered kit. The instructions were very easy to follow and the wall mount template with catch tray for drilling debris is a thoughtful touch.

The mount comes pre-assembled and all you need is to attach one part to the back of your TV and the other part to your wall. I hung a 60 inch Samsung TV with this mount and it is both very sturdy solid plus the mount moves nicely in all directions to give you the full motion capability.

Took me less than one hour being careful and taking my time. My wife did help to lift the TV up to the mount as I was placing it at eye level when standing. Two people can make that part a lot easier if you need to lift high or have a large TV.

I have worked in engineering design for many years and recognize both the well thought out ruggedness of construction and the smooth operation of this Kanto wall mount. I would easily recommend this mount to anyone with a TV that meets this design requirements.

You will need to be sure that your studs are placed no wider than 16 inches for this mount to work but other than that I am very impressed!.

This mount was easy to install for the most part. I consider my self more on the tech-y side than the handy side, so the installation video on the manufacturer website was insanely helpful. It was current info, and applied directly to what I was installing.

I was able to measure a million times, “cut once,” and my mount and TV are level and flush to the wall. The articulation on the mount is pretty stellar–as advertised, extends over 2 feet, so perfect for when I have to get behind the TV to do some work, or pan it over to workout with the Peloton app on my elliptical.

When I opened the box there was a tiny screw loose in the box. I didn’t find the screw on the hardware list so I just continued on, following the video instructions and manual. However, it turns out the little screw was needed to keep the TV level and to top it off, a second tiny screw fell to the floor.

Neither could be screwed back into place. I suspect the holes are stripped of any threading as the screws themselves look to be in good shape. I put a clamp on the rail that was sliding around and the tv is level now.

I am not looking forward to yank the 85 inch TV off the wall to repair it. I will have to send an email to Bestbuy or Kantos to obtain the parts I need. That’s not something I contemplated when buying this.

This helps put my second monitor in a better place for comfortable viewing. It was pretty easy to figure out how to install. I might get another for my primary monitor.

Im keeping this product & may get 2 more when I get the other mointors. Just wish they would have a Converter that holds Non-VESA to these arms. I seen one WAY TO MUCH MONEY. I just want to buy the converter & attech it to my arm/any arm.

Suggestion may be expencives for buyers, but wire the power & interface cables threw the arm. Plug from ur computer to the bottom of the clamp. At the top of the arm is the 2, or more wires needed to plug into the monitor.

U see no wires. 🙂 Keep in mind to WD40 the threads on the clamp. To insure the feel of the grip rather the threads locking into eachother. Its best to spray from top let it drip down into threads.

Pros: Easy to install and great build quality. Cons: Maybe more space for cables.

Great price. Strong metal holding my 50”tv. Bolts,screws, level, everything in box. The mounting bracket holes lined up perfect with Samsung tv. The arm is adjustable to pull out from wall and swivels left, right and tilts up or down.

We placed it about 2ft from corner of wall. So the adjustable arm is perfect! We never installed wall bracket before. We did find studs to bolt into wall. Leveling is important so we triple measured and leveled along the way.

Talk about attention to detail. I absolutely love this mount, installed it on my wood stud wall with ease. The included spirit level was just the icing on the cake, talk about a company that cares about their customer.

This mount is going absolutely nowhere and holds my 43″ 4K TV with ease.

These are so much cheaper than at the box stores especially if you just need them to build shelves or for other room appointments. Lots of fun to work with too and the possibilities are endless.

Only gave 4 stars because the base width is smaller than I expected However I did not pay enough attention when ordering so that was my fault. They will do what I need and I am happy

Fortunately found the stud to mount on the travel trailer. Held a 30’ tv, no problem. I take the TV for traveling. There are 2 screwing attachments to remove tv, I would have preferred something where I could pull a latch and take down, but this works as expected.

Arrived promptly. Directions clear. Easy to install. We love the way it easily locks for traveling and extends for viewing. Pros: easy to install. makes viewing TV a lot more flexible. Cons: The clips for holding the wires are not very functional.

wire ties work better.

Mount it’s self was easy to install and works well. Metal chain to unlock the pin broke off the first pull. I had to go to the hardware store to get a heavier metal chain so Cain didn’t keep breaking.

About as sturdy as it gets, and extremely flexible positioning. Fully flat, it’s about 2-3 inches off the wall, so not as streamlined as a simple mount, but that’s what it takes for the ability to swivel such a wide swath.

Get a stud finder and stud-mount it, though. they provide masonry anchors, but for a normal drywall installation, find the stud. That said, it may mean your have to forego symmetry because the stud is left or right of your centerpoint.

The instructions are not as clear as I’d like, but there’s an online video on the company’s site that makes things clearer. Also, make sure you have long cables. Otherwise you’ll clothesline the TV if you try to swing it out fully from the wall.

To be able to keep cables hidden within the provided channel covers, I would need at least 10 ft to allow for full extension without tugging things loose. If you’ve installed a power outlet and cable connections in the wall behind the TV, you’ll need less, but without a dedicated wall connection right at the TV, go long.

I bought this because I’ll use the display as both a TV and a computer monitor, and it will be in different positions for each task. If I didn’t need the reach, a basic mount would have been fine.

ZERO STARS! A professional hung the TV. as soon as you pull it away from the wall, it went crooked. Nothing could fix this. The steel would not support the weight of a simple 43 inch LCD monitor, not even a TV set.

Even Worse, Best Buy will NOT LET ME RETURN IT. Defective does not matter, I waited longer than their crazy 2 week window from purchase to return. Horrible Customer Service Policy! It took me a few weeks to find a pro to do the install.

Now I need a new mount and have to pay again for them to install the TV. Huge waste of money.

The mount is great, installation was a pain because of the cheap lag bolts. Even after pre-drilling holes, even hollowing them out a bit, 2 of the four lag bolts sheared off in the wall when hand tightening them with a small hand ratchet.

I went to the hardware store and found that these are a bit bigger than 3/16 but not quite 1/4 but some wildcat size. The mount was otherwise easy to install with plenty of mounting hardware to cover various monitors.

It holds my 32 solidly. It would get 5 stars if they had sent better lag bolts.

I like the overall quality of the Offset Highway Pegs. However, within the first 500 miles the rubber started coming loose in one of the pegs. Additionally, I’ve had problems keeping one of the pegs tight.

It has worked loose twice, and I had it installed by a professional mechanic, so it’s not coming loose as a result of my skills!.

These are high quality footpegs, it took me several adjustments to get them just right for me but that is just the point of these type of footpegs. You can customize the possition to fit your type of riding.

Once they were just right I felt a new enthusiasim in riding. I find myself using them even when my legs are not tired. The wide style helps to distribute the pressure over a larger area of the foot making them more comfortable than round pegs.

I love them!.

These were easy to install. I have very big feet so these have provided a level of relief. They also look great on my trike.

First the good: this stand does work, it technically does what it’s supposed to. Now the not so good: the design of this mount makes the task of mounting your tv level unnecessarily difficult. The main problem is that the wall component is not one piece, and you will notice very clearly that the top shelf that will actually hold the TV is bowed slightly once it’s put together (it makes an upside down ever so mild “V” shape) so if you don’t plan to mount the TV dead center on the wall mount and if your wall plate isn’t dead centered over studs, then you’re going to have to do some guess and check work.

Thankfully I got it right on the second try. Another issue with this product, the “lock” washers provided don’t work well (they’re not the correct type of washer for this application), I needed to get creative to securely set the screws in the back of TV side brackets.

Bottom line, spend a few extra bucks (or possibly pay the same price by waiting for a sale on another product) and make installing your wall mount less of a hassle. I would give 1. 5 stars if I could, but I rounded up because like I mentioned at the beginning, the mount technically does do its job.

It will just make you wish you picked a different product along the way of assembling and hanging it.

I am restoring a post and beam pergola. This is a semi-custom bracket for 3×6 beams. I will leave some slack in the screws to allow for moisture expansion of the wood.

I purchased these joist hangers because they are fabricated out of 14-gauge steel. These will be used to reinforce the floor joists in my modular home.

My PE asked me to use these instead of bending a standard joist hanger for a 90 connection. Worked great and not too much more expensive

Easy to install. Great looking product.

Just the brackets we needed. We forgot one short section of railing that needed to be secured.

Where is the keys of the swivel head, installation was a breeze. These are critical for any angle that is not 90 or 180°.

Excellent machining. Nice, very light, aluminum part. It fits perfectly and does not leak. It is anodized for a quality appearance. The only thing that is less than perfect (and I am really being picky here) is that there are clamp marks on the flat side of this where it was held for machining.

This is strictly cosmetic and very minor and I doubt that anybody would notice it except perhaps on a concourse car. But I thought in the interest of being thorough, I would point out that the cosmetics are not quite perfect.

Rest assured that there is absolutely no problem with this units performance — it does exactly what it is supposed to do.

These worked well on my intake manifold and thermostat riser. Use the correct tools and you won’t scratch them up. They are made very well.

I ordered a 45 degree 1/4″npt by -6an but recieved a 90 degree 3/8″npt by -8an in the right package. The fittings seem to be well made, it’s just a hassle returning them and waiting on the right one.

My review would have been better if this were not the case. Summit does a great job with returns!.
