I purchased the white Micro with the intention of both increasing fun with my 8 yr old daughter and also not feeling left behind on our walks, which often has her yards in front of me while I hollered, “Hey honey, wait up!” Now we are both crusing around our neighborhood and chatting with each other along the way! The Micro is really smooth with its larger and smooth wheels and I notice that I don’t have to put in as much of a push or effort to keep moving compaired to my daughter on her Maxi, this thing really cruises! The breaking system is easy to use and works to slow down or for full stops.

The scooter is low enough to the ground that it’s very easy to push off with your foot or get on and off of for those little moments that you have to hop off due to a big break in a curb or having to go around a obstacle that’s safer to walk around.

The handlebars can be adjusted to fit my 8 yr old at 51″ and my husband at 74″. I appreciate the kickstand for stops at the park, storing in the garage, etc. I haven’t had to fold this scooter down for trips yet but certainly plan to in the future and look forward to more family adventures :).

I’m pumped to get a scooter for my husband as well as this totally hits the mark on family fun and increasing together time! The additional bonus for me is the increased in balance of both my legs by alternating them throughout my ride (my left leg needed a tune-up due to MS).

I’m sure its helping to increasing my core strength as well as I’ve noticed my rides are getting much easier. This really is a fun scooter so I find myself wanting to go out almost nightly and on the weekends for a ride with my daughter.

Lastly, I’m 48 yrs old and this has made me feel like my youth is returning in a way that hiking, biking, and yoga just doesn’t do for me, a real life fountain of youth!.

We bought our kids Micro’s for Christmas (Micro Mini and Micro Maxi), and I’d purchased a Micro Sprite to ride alongside them. The Sprite was (and still is!) great, but after a few months on it I was ready for something with a bit larger foot platform and a smoother ride, especially for pavement that’s a little on the bumpy side like at campgrounds.

Bought the Micro Black, and couldn’t be happier! The folding mechanism was easy to figure out, it’s not too heavy to carry around, and I found it easier to propel than the Sprite (more roll for less effort).

The larger wheels provide a smoother ride also, which was the hope, and truth be told, I appreciate the fact that it looks a little more “grown up” than the Sprite. Overall, very happy with the performance!.

I think this is the best scooter on the market for my commute to the train station and office. Big wheels make it comfortable. It’s extremely strong and durable. I has very few parts to go wrong with it and can be very quickly folded down.

Here is my critique after years of usage. The narrow handlebars might seem too narrow when you first ride it, but you very soon get used to it and they are great especially if you are crossing by people on the footpath you take up less space.

I’ve never ever folded the handlebars in though – I think that’s a gimmick and they should just be fixed. The brake it quite useless when the wheel gets wet, so you need to be a little careful with that, however I chose this model again when I bought a new one because I like the simplicity and can handle breaking by stepping my foot.

The clearance is quite low to the ground, but the trade-off of an easy ride is worth it – you will scrape the bottom though and that’s ok. Make sure you tighten the screws every few weeks – I’ve lost several over the years.

The thick wheels really helps keep Mr 7 balanced. Overall a really good, sturdy scooter and he is very confident on it. A little heavier than the cheaper plastic types we have had in the past but they don’t last very long and this one looks like it will last a long time.

Especially the brakes and the wheels. Foldable is great too for easy transport in the boot.

My newly 6yo daughter was transitioning from a 3-wheel to 2-wheel. The wide wheels made this a breeze! It is expensive, but this scooter will last her until she’s old enough that she doesn’t use a scooter anymore.

I received a free sample in exchange for agreeing to write a review. My son is 9 years old and absolutely loves his mongoose scooter. He had used it daily for 2 months. In fact, he rides it to school everyday.

He wears a helmet when he does. This is his feedback. It feels solid, it rides smooth, it’s just the right size, and he can do tricks on it. It is a bit tough to make turns. I like the design and it seems like it will last a while.

On the negative, it gets misaligned quite a bit which leads to the annoying need to have to loosen, tighten and then readjust. Overall, a quality product I would recommend for kids.

The company provided me a free sample of the Mongoose PAC-5 and I could not be happier with this product. First off, assembly is super easy! How easy you may ask? Were talking 2 minutes tops. Once assembled I handed the scooter to my 8 and 10 year old girls and they were zooming all around the block.

My only complaint about this product is that the scooter is not adjustable so I could ride it. Sorry adults this baby is geared for our kids. no rides for us on this one. Comparatively, to other scooters my kids find this scooter a much smoother and swifter ride.

This scooter is for children. It has a maximum weight limit of 132 pounds. It arrived securely packaged and well protected. After getting it out of the box, all that needed to be done was to loosen the Allen-head bolt to mount the handlebars, put them in place and retighten the Allen bolt.

Once that is done, the scooter is a solid piece of transportation. Then, although the machine arrived with a partial charge, it is strongly recommended to charge the scooter overnight to be sure you are starting out with a full charge.

I had some trouble getting it going, but that was user error, not an issue with the machine. After contacting Jetson support, I quickly found that you need to take off with two or three pushes with your feet — like a kick scooter — and it will take off.

Just pushing on the throttle lever will not make it start by itself. Once I found I needed to do that, I found it took off right away. This is going to the family next door for their children, but I wanted to be sure it worked first, so I felt I should try it.

I weight just over 140 pounds, so not that far above the recommended 132 pounds. The scooter handled my weight very easily and moved quickly in the highest speed setting. It seems that using it regularly at my weight would cause excessive wear on the scooter, so I would not want to get this for regular adult use.

The handlebars easily fold down nearly flat and stay in that position for carrying. The lights are great. With a button next to the ON/OFF switch, the rider can change to different colors or two settings where the colors are constantly changing.

The tires are fairly hard rubber, so you can feel the bumps in the sidewalk or street, but at the maximum speed of 10 mph, they don’t jar the rider much at all. There are two options for brakes. First, there is a handlebar mounted button/lever that brings you to a fairly quick stop.

As a backup, the scooter also has the standard back fender step-on braking function like most kick scooters. This will make a fun toy for the adventurous child.

My son loves his Omega Electric Scooter. He rides it all over the neighborhood! It was a little confusing figuring out how to get it going but once we did, there was no stopping him. The different colors of lights are so awesome and fun.

He loves having the lights on when he’s riding at night. It stays charged for awhile when it’s fully charged. Several people have complimented his scooter and told him how much they like it. We have recommended it to friends and family.

Wow has my daughter had a blast riding around in this scooter! Its soooo compact and easy to travel with. Unfold and charge! Instructions were simple and easy to understand. The lights on the scooter are so much fun! Very well made and beyond easy to use.

I am leaving the original review below for reference only but I am updating the rating based on the fact that company went above and beyond to address the issues, communicated quick and frequently, and the replacement scooter is great.

I received the replacement scooter and it is a great machine. It arrived in perfect condition and everything fits nice and working perfectly. The scooter has three modes eco, drive, and sport which basically sets the speed limits.

It is really zippy in sport mode wear a helmet! and I love it. The scooter is well made and feels sturdy and reliable. One thing I noticed that it may have bluetooth function the icon lights up when powering on but then goes off however the app did not detect the scooter and the instructions do not mention anything about the app so this model may not have bluetooth enabled.

It is not needed, just FYI in case if you were wondering. Operating the scooter is very easy and it has a foldable design so you can take it with you in the car trunk. There is a nice and bright headlight as well as tail light which blinks when breaking.

Whats even more important is that the company stands behind its product and will work with you if you have any issues. It is very important and I applaud SmooSat for following up and making things right.

I also own a SmooSat regular kick scooter than I absolutely love, so I had fairly high expectations when ordering this one. and I will say that this scooter exceeded those expectations by miles no pun intended.

Most scooters that are advertised as for adults/kids are really more slanted towards kids. this one absolutely is NOT. Now, after a couple of years of owing it, the electric bike assists you up the hill, but will not make it up on its own. This scooter, on the other hand, zips up the hill with ease! I suspect it will for years to come.

Its quite powerful. I love that the front wheel cant spin 180 degrees. My son had one of those popular Razor scooters as a kid, but they had no front wheel guide, so you could spin them around much further than one would ever want to while in motion.

That design caused a lot of broken bones in his friends. They would be zipping along and yank the steering wheel causing the front tire to turn 90 degrees or more – which caused the scooter to simply stop and eject the rider.

This scooter is smart, theres no need to turn 90 degrees to the right, when you are zipping along at 10mph – so the scooter has a guide that prevents the wheel from turning that far. So much safer. The scooter has 3 power levels.

Eco mode with a max speed of 5mph. Drive with a max speed of 10mph. Super with a max speed of 15. 6mph. These modes make it easier for you to ensure you will arrive at your destination with battery to spare.

Going on a long trip, use Eco. Going on a short trip, use D. Showing off some high speed tricks, use S. Grateful that it has a metric km/h or imperial mph switch. The built in headlight is useful for when your trip takes you out a bit later than expected.

My son told me to update my review, because he mentioned that the kickstand placement means that he sometimes pinches himself when getting off the unit. He has to be a bit mindful about it because it protrudes a bit and can catch on things or skin.

Its not problematic enough for me to change my rating though. Still 5 stars.

My daughter got this big girl scooter for her 9th birthday and she loves it. It provides a smooth ride, it isn’t loud like some scooters on the market. We love how well it folds up and the color is perfect.

This scooter is perfect for her and easy to ride but can also hold an adults weight as well. The handle bars can be adjusted to size so it will grow with her as well.

Sturdy scooter – no rattling when used by adult or kids. Easy to assemble (only had to connect one of the wheels). Easy to fold and comes with strap to carry. The blue also looks good.

Unboxing – The unboxing experience was super easy. The contents of the box were all packaged neatly and were all easy to remove. Sometimes when you receive a box that size, it’s difficult to reach everything but not in this case.

The scooter did not include a physical building guide but did provide a QR code to access the building instructions online. Assembly – Assembling the scooter was incredibly easy and went by quickly. As someone who has zero skills when it comes to putting things together, this scooter was a breeze.

In total, it took me about 15 minutes to put together. Adjusting the seat and handle bars through with the clamps is great and takes minimum effort. Adding the basket took me the longest time but that was more on me since I kept dropping the screws.

Product – On to the best part! The scooter itself is so much fun to ride around on. I took it out for a test drive after putting it together (the battery came fully charged so bonus points there!) and it was smooth and fast.

It was evening when I first went out so the addition of the headlight was much appreciated (hold down the button for it to power on and off). The seat on the scooter is comfy and once I found the right height for it, I had no issues adjusting to it.

The only minor issue I had was riding up my steep driveway. It took a bit to get to the top of it and I didn’t have any issues with other inclines in my neighborhood so I assume it was more on the driveway than the scooter.

Just thought I’d mention it. After some time with it, I can safely say that it was a great pick up. If you’re in the market for a well built, fast, fun scooter, I cannot recommend this one enough.

I love this scooter the best. I have another stand-up scooter but this one has quickly become my favorite for getting around. The basket is very convenient, too. The seat is super comfortable and the speed is just right for my needs.

The tires on these are regular tubes and tires that need to be inflated (just like a bicycle). This is different from my other scooter which has a hard rubber tire. But since I’m sitting down, the tire and tube set is far more comfortable than the hard rubber.

The headlight looks really nice, too. It’s pretty bright! Putting it together was simple. The handlebar folds down so all I needed to do was unfold the handlebar and lock it into place (very easy). Then put the seat in, adjust the height of the seat, and lock it into place.

The last step was to inflate the tires. That was it! I think it took me all of 15 min, max.

-I weight 240 lbs and I got 15 miles from full battery by turning off break assist off and custom 15mph limit. –This scooter can do 20mph but max speed will decrease as the battery drains. At 60% of battery max speed is 18mph and at 20% max speed is 12.

HOWEVER, custom limit to 15mph in the app results in a consistant 15mph until 15% of power then it will drop to 14mph. —This scooter is known for the best hill climber at this price range and THAT IS TRUE.

However i wouldnt recommend it for hill like citys like san fran, just for intense hills here and there. —- headlight is amazing, an absolute must that should be included in ever electric scooter. Standing room, back foot placement, and folding perfection.

—– weight at 45 lbs is hard to carry for a long period of time and push to start may be difficult for people who are light weight or not muscular. —— I bought this scooter on sale for $140 off on a bestbuy sale, absolutely a steal! Its awesome that im literally the only one around that has a powerhouse as a scooter.

At first, I wasn’t sure of the quality of this scooter since this stand-up version is new to NIU. But soon after assembling it, I discovered this is on par or even better with scooters at the same price point.

Out of the box, it was a breeze to assemble and took me fewer than five minutes. Once unboxed, simply adjust the main tube to the upright position, lock it, connect two wires, and insert the handlebar into the main tube.

Then, install four screws to secure it. That’s it! After charging for five hours, this was ready to go. The finish feels high-end and looks very sleek. The footboard is very comfortable and wide. The circle LED light is a nice feature for extra daytime visibility and the LED lamp illuminates the space quite nicely for nighttime riding.

On the back end, the tail/brake light does the job beautifully. What is most impressive about this is the smooth ride. Some scooters tend to accelerate very jerkily, but the NIU is extremely smooth. I suppose this is because NIU isn’t a newcomer when it comes to electric rides.

Overall, this is a very good product and can be a game-changer in the stand-up electric scooter market.

Really solid piece of kit, but quite heavy with it. Much nicer ride than a solid-tyred scooter, with the downside being the rolling resistance of the tyres – swings and roundabouts, really. The metal wheels and grip locks are nice touches that raise it above its competitors in this price bracket [eg Oxelo MF Dirt].

Needs a bit of fettling out of the box [attach handlebar, inflate tyres, tighten axles] but I had it ready within 10 minutes of delivery and was able to ride it to work. My 5yo is desperate to get on it but it’s going to be a few years before he’s big enough.

Would prefer if the brake was more mudguard-style instead of a little strip. The brake is really not very effective in the wet. Loses a star for the sloppy welds and some stiffness in the steering, which I hope is just a poorly tightened headset.

I’ve never seen my son love and therefore look after something so much! He’s out with his friends in all sorts of weather and regularly comes home plastered. straight into the garden to clean his scooter before protecting spray and back in the garage! He absolutely LOVES it.

I’ve had the product a few weeks now and have put just over 50 miles on it both recreationally and working my door-to-door sales job. I love it, but there are a few critiques that have kept me from giving the product 5-stars.

1. The ride is not smooth unless you are on a smooth surface. This means at top speed you have to be very conscious of where your wheels are on the pavement and what is in front of them. Thankfully, the tires are airless and not at any risk of going flat in the middle of a ride, but that also means they will have to be replaced at some point.

2. While I am confident the scooter is sturdy, after 50 miles of wear I can definitely tell that parts of the scooter are starting to loosen. For example, the handle bar has become quite rickety. When traveling at the higher speeds, if I come onto ground that is not particularly smooth the handle bar will begin to shake, almost comparable to the Death Wobble you encounter in Jeeps.

3. The power drains faster than anticipated and as far as I can tell, there is no way to silence the beeping that informs you that the battery is running low. You can obviously expect the power to run low if you are on hills often and running in Dual Motor mode, however there are times where I have been at 3-4 bars of power and gone down to almost nothing because the steepness of a hill.

I can turn the scooter off and on and see a good chunk of that power restored on the reader, but I feel like that is an extra step that I shouldn’t have to take for a product advertised (and purchased) for it’s hill-side capability.

4. This one is a little more personal to my needs, however I did not realize how important cruise control would be to me. Having to hold down the thumb-accelerator for long periods of time is surprisingly uncomfortable, especially not compared to some of the other forms of acceleration available on scooters (twist handle or pull handle).

The thumb mechanism isn’t terrible, in fact I wouldn’t even need cruise control to be a digital option. If there was some sort of physical lock that could snap into and out of place easily to hold the accelerator in place would be appreciated.

5. My last critique is the lack of accessories available for the product. This truly is the Tesla of scooters in that I am unable to find a scooter bag that can securely attach to the scooter itself.

There are definitely work arounds with available products you can find on Amazon for example, but I don’t like the idea of having to modify the scooter or do anything fancy with the accessory in order to make it work.

Additionally, there is no other company that can match the aesthetic that Unagi has coined with their scooter. I absolutely love this clean, almost futuristic iPhone-looking feel the scooter has and I don’t want to make it look ugly with some off-brand bag or satchel that barely clings to the scooter because the bag wasn’t built for it.

While I think the shirt and helmet and bag all look sleek, I want accessories for the scooter. Overall this is a fantastic product, I would recommend it to almost anyone, however I do think there is a lot of room to improve.

Wow. what a deal!! Okay so I’m going to do my best to explain my thinking on why I purchased this item. This is my review and I will do a unboxing video when it arrives in a few days. Whenever you’re buying a new product that you’ve never used or even heard of before there’s a lot of contemplation that goes into understanding the difference between a want and a need.

When I gave my car to my parents a few years ago I didn’t know what might happen. I’ve driven since I was 16 and I just recently decided to try living life without a car. I decided that since so many people on this planet seem to be able to do it I would graciously accepted the challenge too.

Lol In the years since I’ve ridden my bike everywhere that I needed to go and it’s gotten me around fine. but things change. As I get older I do not like the idea of carrying groceries on a bike because it seems burdensome.

It just feels too clumsy, too heavy, and not to mention the maintenance alone on something you ride everyday is something to think about. I noticed that for somebody in my position there were many options to explore like electric bikes, electric cars and a variety of other compact vehicles that you can attach bags to but they all seem just too burdensome to carry around and ultimately are more trouble than they’re worth.

But there’s more to transportation than just your ability to carry items and the type of maintenance you’ll have to do to it. To make this simple without going into unnecessary details I’ll just say this.

I found the perfect commuting scooter!!!! I have spent the last three months really digging into the electric scooter market to find everything that’s available and to learn all the pros and cons of owning an electric scooter in comparison to other electric vehicles.

I discovered that most electric scooters and indeed any kind of electric mobility device can be divided into two categories. Everyday commuting use and recreational use. I say this for many reasons but mainly the difference that matters is how it feels when you’re riding it every day in comparison to occasional off-roading excursions.

I didn’t really have a budget but I couldn’t afford some of the most expensive scooters on the market which can range up to $10,000. If you Google electric scooter you no doubt might feel overwhelmed by so many options at first but after digging into the details you’ll notice as I did that there’s a lot of s*** products out there made in China.

It seems to be common knowledge that buying poor quality merchandise from china that will never reach you because of what’s going on with covid might not be the brightest idea. I found that I was changing my mind based on how I imagined it would be like to ride this thing everyday.

After coming to some hard conclusions I was about ready to buy something that went a little faster and weighed a little more but ultimately decided that portability was more important than going 30 miles an hour and having a 40 mi range.

lol. So I traded up. Ultimately I decided upon this package deal that gives you a scooter that is made of carbon fiber, airless tires, safety lights, a horn, and most importantly a quick charger that can get the job done in a few hours.

The most amazing part of this Black Friday deal I found is a bit ironic. Unagi is a fast-growing company because of the quality of products they make and they have a service outlet in Springfield Oregon where I plan to move in the next few months!!! Realistically speaking, and as a commuter you want something that is extremely light weight and portable so you can take it in stores, on buses, up stairs, and most importantly charge it in a few hours after using it for quick trips around town which usually don’t require a far range.

all this so you can go from point a to point b with ease. There are electric bikes, skateboards, hoverboards, one Wheels, electric motorcycles, electric cars, etc. Each one with its drawbacks and advantages.

The Unagi one can be attached with a shoulder strap and weighing only 25 lb can easily be taken in stores and even carried for long distances. Something I found that no other ultra compact scooter can accomplish without sacrificing power and quality.

Unlike any other ultra compact scooter for commuting you have dual motors!!! Very important!! Dual motors gives you the power(torque) you need to get up hills and avoid obstacles. Regardless of what you’ll be using it for though I found the problem with most scooters is the quality of materials from china.

Every commuting scooter I’ve researched is made of flimsy materials that can’t carry heavy riders and or require tons of maintenance on the moving parts. This scooter however, the Unagi one, the Tesla of scooters, is nothing like that.

I’ve found it has the best reviews simply because it has the lowest maintenance for any scooter period, highest quality materials(china), by far the lightest, and if it does break the replacement parts are reasonably priced and easy to install.

The tires are the only downside of the scooters build simple because they will erode over time unlike air filled tires but fortunately they’re easy enough to replace and being that they’re airless as I mentioned you don’t have to worry about getting a flat on the way to work.

I hope those who read this review appreciate the many various modes of transportation out there for what they are and how they can improve our lives. It’s never easy deciding what is going to be best for you and your purposes but if you want an ultra-compact electric scooter for commuting that is the most portable, the most reliable, uses the highest quality materials, with a little bit of a price tag and provides the absolute best quality customer service available than look no further than that the Unagi one! Just received the scooter and my husband loves it. With his COPD we have been limited to what we are able to do. This weekend we went to a mall in our area. My husband had his small portable oxygen machine just in case he would have need it.

There was enough room to rest the machine on the floor of the scooter. Never once during our shopping did he need oxygen. I found it very easy to remove battery and seat and then drop the front bar in order to place in the back on my SUV.

It is light enough for me to pick up without help. I am so happy that I found this scooter at such a great price.

It was time for me to replace my old scooter. I wasn’t sure what to look for because I’ve had mine forever. The staff did a great job in selecting this scooter for me. It’s a perfect match. I love it.

For a scooter that cost nearly £200 I feel it would only be fair to include the bearing removal tool if this is something that might be necessary to change and proves really difficult to do without damage, something, as scooter novices, we only found out after purchasing.

We can’t seem to purchase the tool to do the job, it’s unavailable at Skatehut but the live chat assistant said it was for skates anyway and told us to watch a video we’d already watched, the instruction manual tells you you can bang out the bearing with a hammer but if you damage it, too bad.

We’re now left with the choice of trying that and hope for the best or just put up with the dodgy clicking wheel. Would not have bought this if I new this would be an issue and would advise other people not to unless you have very specific tools in your garage! Life’s hard enough right now! This was bought in September as an early birthday present (December birthday) to give my daughter something to get outside and do when no activities are running due to covid but to be honest it’s just been a headache.

The website made it clear what I was getting, and the item arrived in perfect condition from interstate within a few days. The quality of the scooter is very high. It is rock solid, stable and very smooth to ride.

It was beautifully finished until it’s 10 year old owner learned to do a drop-in at the local skate park. Very highly recommended.

I got this scooter 2 years ago and its still great. The reaper V2 bars are amazing, all the decks and wheels look super good. I learned how to 360, tailwip, down-side wip, in my first 6 months of scootering.

Its super strong, and the price. you just cant get that good of a deal on ANY other complete!.

We bought this for our five year old, but everyone in the family loves to ride it! The handle height is adjustable so we can set it lower for our five year old, or higher for an adult – and switching height is so easy with a pressure clamp! This scooter also folds up for easy storage, has a kick stand if you prefer to use that instead of folding it, and the back wheel has a break that you press with your foot.

My family has commented on this scooter on how it has bigger wheels and a wider bottom than their razors and they really liked that. This is a great product to get some exercise and to develop balancing skills.

I would buy this again/recommend it to my friends and family.

My 10 year old son loves this scooter. He is tall for his age, a little over 5ft and this scooter fits him perfectly because the handles go a little heighter and the wheels are larger. He rides around the house on our wood floors on cold, wet rainy days but also enjoys taking out for a spin in the neighborhood on sunny days too.

Its not what I expected. If you are looking the next size up from the regular disney scooter for them to grow in this would be good but its about the same as the MAdd gear kruzer 150mm the only differents that i really seen between this one and the Madd gear was that this one has longer handle bars.

( I know this becouse i bought a green MAdd gear at my local walmart for around 35. I had expected one and need one thats about the size of a battery powdered one but it cant be battery powdered. helpful tip its not guaranteed what color you well get.

Sturdy and cool. Bought for after school club. Shared by all age groups. It is quick!

I bought this shoes for my children because they are adjustable. As I’ve two children with growing feet , the idea is that for at least 2 years my first child will use them and than the second will use them again for other 2 / 3 years.

Hope to use them for 5 years! The only small negative point. At the beginning I did not understand the way to make than bigger or smaller but than it was very easy.

Kids love this scooter/bike. Everyone kid on the block has jumped on it and tried it out. My neighbors might be upset with us now since their kids are asking for one for their own. It’s a priced just right as the battery life is long (about two hours during winter and 1.

5 during the warmer months), unit seems very sturdy and solidly built. A “regular” sized 10yo or younger will need help from a stronger friend or adult to convert into either configuration. If you child prefers the standing configuration over a bike, you’re better of just buying a regular standing scooter for $100 less.

Adjusting to the sitting configuration might take a few tries as one child shared, “feels like sitting on a skateboard with handles. ” The scooter rides on asphalt smoothly but can have some hiccups going over your normal driveways pebbles.

Definitely, this scooter is not meant to be driven on grass.

This was difficult for me to figure out and even after I figured it out, it’s still a little difficult. There’s no way an eight-year-old can do this on their own. It does require a little bit of assembly when you get it home.

I’m trying to switch it from a seated bike to a scooter or vice versa was confusing. The instructions were very vague and there wasn’t any sort of reference for me online. I had to figure it out on my own.

When switching it from the standing position to a seated position, I have to mess with the height of the handlebars because there is a retractable button that gets in the way and I have to push that in then pull the seat up then push the handlebars back.

Also, this thing is really heavy. It’s a little concerning that my son could all over and this thing fall on top of him and he not be able to get up or it hurt his leg. I really don’t think it is appropriate for his age.

Definitely maybe more of a preteen type bike. It is a Little Tikes brand or at least it came in there branch of box and that is a toddler or children’s brand so if this really is marketed towards teens Maybe they should change the packaging up a little.

Since my kids were already grown, I have allowed my roommates boys to ride this scooter and test it out. For them it works best as a stand up scooter. they love riding up and down the street with my dog chasing them.

As for ease of conversion from stand to sit, an adult with strong hands has to do it. the hinge and the weight of the sections can make it dangerous for little fingers. Charge time is good. Miles of fun.

Very happy with my purchase. My girls love how smooth it rides after using a razor. like gliding through the streets! My 5 year old can ride it and my 11 year old. I will say the “Angel” stickers all over it make my older kiddos not like it as much.

But my younger kids don’t mind. Just an FYI.

I recommend this scooter for a young rider only because the handle bars are short and its a small deck. But its a quality build for sure. My son has been shredding it ever since Christmas. And has recieved compliments at the park.

This scooter is incredibly portable. It comes assembled and is a breeze to get going. I live in a small 1BR apartment and the turning radius is scary in it precision. It also has a sleep function to conserve battery power.

I was really blown away after I received the scooter. I am 250lbs and this thing does not disappoint. If you really need a good escooter, you are going to need to look outside of Amazon which I painfully discovered.

Honestly, if you are in the market for a sub $1k escooter, look no further. Here is why I love this escooter. 1. Orange is my favourite color and when I saw this, I just had to get it. 2. Trigger throttle is the way to go for me.

I have arthritis issues with my right thumb which makes it painful for me using thumb type. The trigger throttle is the way to go and the cruise control adds the icing on it. 3. I not an expert on hills but at 250lbs, I have taken some steep hills and still moving at 8mph with no issues.

If you are going to climb hills, this is the scooter you need. 4. This is my 1st escooter and 20+ mph is plenty for me. I can see myself upgrading to the Cruiser or Kaboo at a later date. 5. The deck is wide and long enough that I can ride for over 30 mins with no issues.

Nice grippy stripe in the middle of the deck and the orange pops along the sides. 6. The suspension fork and weight for makes storage easy. I bought a garage hook mounted on the wall and store the scooter folded upright.

7. I like that you can set the acceleration to hard or soft. I do prefer soft which is still plenty to enjoy my ride. 8. Availability of parts is a must. In fact, right after I bought the scooter, my friend feel when I gave him a test ride.

Luckily, only the trigger display glass was broken. I easily purchased another one and it was a simple plug and play. It’s great to know that I can get parts for the scooter. Overall, this is a very solid electric scooter and at $900, you are not going to find any other escooter with such great value and fun ride.

If you are reading this, just buy it. You won’t be returning this after you ride it.

There are so many things I love about this scooter! I have had it now for about a month and it leaves my old Segway ES4 in the dust! I suggest the smaller less expensive scooters as first time scooters so you learn how to ride them safely and really decide if scooter life is for you, but once you have the hang of it, this scooter can not be beat! It is plenty fast, the brakes are smooth but very responsive and the height from floor to platform is just enough to clear bumps, curbs and potholes but not so high that it hurts my knees getting up and down at every red light! I love the weight capacity of 308-330lbs as I am 240 and often use my scooter to go shopping adding upwards of 40 more lbs in weight.

At 39lbs itself I am happy so say I can easily lift it up a stair or two and or pick it up to put it in the back of my minivan. It handles very well and the range is amazing. On a full charge I can get from my house above 110th street down to my husbands job below 1st street in just around 30 minutes and still have 3 of 5 bars of battery left.

The color choices that are available on the website are nice but not quite what I was going for so I bought the black option and spray painted the stem and fender shiny gold. I also changed out the handlebar grips for a less curvy model in black and gold.

I have small hands so the grips that come preinstalled made it a little difficult for me to reach the break lever comfortably. I love the keyed start feature, it makes me feel safer leaving it outside (locked up of course).

I know that people break/cut bike locks and steal scooters quite often in the city but without the keys they have less incentive to try. I can not say enough good things about this scooter. I would highly recommend, especially if like me you are a female looking for a scooter with power, range, comfort and ease of portability!.

Unbelievably fun! In fact that’s why it only gets four stars. Due to the range (which is a respectable 18ish miles) causes ride sessions of around 60-90 minutes. Leaving the rider with a long 4-6hour charge before another ride.

This leaves the buyer with Emove Cruiser envy wishing one had simply purchased the slightly more expensive model first. Lol. All that said the Touring is a fantastic ride with great speed and acceleration that will leave you wanting longer distances and more mileage per ride.

Smooth ride, large deck, and easy carry weight all lead to a great machine. While my recommendation is still to go with the cruiser over the touring your needs may vary making this the perfect scooter for you.

Really nice quality, very lightweight, looks great in all black. I’m a short adult and found this to be the perfect size for me. I will use it for transport and also sat the skate park occasionally and it seems to be the perfect size for this.

The last time I rode a scooter was about 10 years ago when I had a Razor. I was worried the 100mm deck might be too narrow but it feels bigger than the old school Razors so it’s perfect for me. One minor issue is the bars are too wide to fit in a suitcase to take overseas, but I’ll just be cutting them down a bit to overcome that.

Upon opening the box the grip tape fell off. And refused to re attach. Also head rock has been a constant problem. Initially I thought the bar clamp wasn’t up to the job so I changed this. However after 30 mins use the head rocks back and it’s bars off again to adjust.

After 3 weeks the bottom head bearing fell to peices and the free replacement grip tape fell off again I would spend a bit more and buy a more established brand. It’s not been a great buy for sure.
