20 Best 4Th Of July Swimsuits (2022 Updated)

I am 5’7” / 140 lbs / 34B. I bought the small and it worked out fine. I thought the small would give me a massive camel toe but looked very flattering overall. I could tell the arm holes were a little short and would slide off the shoulders when swimming and the leg cut wasn’t as high cut as I thought it would be so I would recommend getting a medium if that’s available.

My nips totally poked through so maybe look into water-based nipple covers. I got the suit in red and it was opaque for everything else after getting wet. It was a super fun and flattering suit to wear for a day on the lake!.

I absolutely love this bathing suit. I had one last year and I ended up losing it so I bought another one this year. The sizing is a little different from last year. Originally I bought a S/M and it fit perfect but the sizing changed and they have regular S and M so I went for the small.

The bathing suit looks amazing, the only issue is that it rides down a lot so I have to be very careful. Other than that I love it and get so many compliments! Ravesuits has the nicest looking bathing suits !.

These suits are very cute and great quality. Sadly, they just don’t seem to work for my body. For reference I’m 5’1 100lbs I’m normally a size 0-2, but I have a large chest. Following the recommendations for busty girls to size up, I got a M/L.

It fits just “OK”. It’s a little too loose in the waist yet because these are cut short, there is just not enough coverage in the bust area. It’s extremely difficult to keep my chest contained in this.

I could deal with the slightly loose waist, but because of how the chest area fits, I cannot wear this in public. I can only wear it when it’s just me and the hubby in the hot tub. Bummer, because it’s really cute and comfy.

I think as long as you’re not too tall or large in the chest area these will probably fit very well.

I love the style but it does run very small! I am 5’8 about 140 and am normally a small but originally ordered a Medium. Then had to exchange for a Large because it was still way to small! It is pretty tight but fits really well in the back.

It is a little thin in the front, so make sure to warm up quick when you get out of the water! haha.

i am so incredibly happy with this suit. its festive, sexy (great back cutout), and good quality (color & material). i am quite picky, so trust when i say youll be happy with this purchase. for sizing reference, i am 54″, 135 – 140 lbs, 34B top, sizable bottom, and i ordered a Medium.

I was hesitant to buy this swim suit because I have a larger chest, but was pleasantly surprised by the fit! The tie on the top allows for more or less support depending on your chest size. And the suit itself is super cute!! I would definitely recommend it.

AMAZING!!! This bikini is so flattering and comfortable and well made. I was worried about the bottoms but they have the perfect amount of coverage in the back that I was looking for. Shipping was super fast and they were very attentive and responsive when answering my questions.

\n\nI ordered small top and small bottoms (I usually wear a medium in underwear) but I went by what they recommended based on my measurements and I am glad that I did. For reference I am bust: 34. 5, hips: 37, 5’5 tall and about 130lbs.

I LOVE this bathing suit! I got a medium in both the top and the bottom. I am 5’7, 155 lbs and it fits me perfectly! I couldn’t believe how fast it arrived!

The material & fit are awesome!! I wish the colors were brighter but over all it is a wonderful item & I would defiantly order from this vender again!!

I have a Tyr swimsuit from about 8 years ago that I absolutely love. I’m ready for a new suit so I tried this. I have notice the design and fit of competition suits have changed considerably. There’s so much stiffness and compression in this suit.

I’m ok with leg compression, but frankly don’t understand it around the rib cage which needs to expand when you breathe. I have a 32 I chest and found the size 32 too tight. Also, the shoulder straps have almost no elasticity, dig into my shoulders, and started cutting off circulation to my arms.

I don’t know if these new tight, compressive, no-elasticy swimsuit designs are supposed to enhance performance (I doubt they do) or are part of the current trend of ultra compression that generally has been getting worse in women’s sportswear of late, forcing us to squeeze our bodies into uncomfortable shape wear when all we really want is to play sports.

I would not recommend this suit to anyone.

It seems to run small. Not terribly happy with the way it fits. The back straps tend to dig into the skin because they are so thin. Just fyi.

I like the design, but feel the fit is small. I have always worn the same size in TYR suits and this one feels “short”. It digs into my shoulders and there isn’t a lot of give.

A bikini of very good quality. Beautiful and striking color, it feels good with the tan. It is comfortable. Normal size

I am very disappointed! I used the size chart provided by the seller based on my measurements, and the item was still way too big. The seller states they provide exchanges, but I only received one response to 3 messages I sent, with no follow through! This garment, which is way too large for me, is about to go in the trash unfortunately, so I wasted $75.

This is the exact reason I’ve been hesitant to purchase from Etsy, and is unfortunate because I will probably not use Etsy again.

The fit is absolutely perfect. The material is thick & solid. I’m SO happy & cant wait to show it off this weekend!! I will Definitely be ordering more from here. Also- shipping was super fast & she responded to my questions immediately.

I’m in love with this suit! Comfortable and somehow ladylike and sexy at the same time – this suit has it all. I bought it in the Navy which is a beautiful shade of blue, I tried the Oceanside as well which is a beautiful teal green, I really couldn’t decide.

Now I would like to own it in black and white also! I have a very curvy, bottom heavy hourglass shape and it accentuates everything I want the focus on. I’m a 38D size 12 (occasional 14 in some pants) and this fit perfectly in a 12, even with my long torso which is challenging in many brands.

So in my opinion this fits more true to size than many other one piece suits do. This is my first Bleu Rod Beattie and it definitely won’t be my last!.

I’m between a 10-12. Curvy/32H. Ordered a 12 and it’s perfect. Many years ago I bought the first version of this swimsuit by BLEU (2016 or 17?) completely wore it out and had to throw it away this past summer.

Purchased again after seeing it on the mom edit … looks amazing on and is the perfect blend of sexy. I will wear as a swimsuit and body suit – The bamboo/wood with black gives Gucci vibes.

I’m 5’5 and 150 lbs, 36c/31/36, I wear my weight around my waist. size 10 is perfect, no loose fabric anywhere. Got it for a nice price and my first time wearing this brand. Hopefully it lasts long (Becca’s, La Blanca etc).

Less than 1 star for smooshing my chest a little but the bamboo accents are really pretty (definitely hand wash to preserve), and the blue is nice and muted.

Unfortunately I again bought a swim suit in a size much bigger than my measurements and again it does not fit. I wear a size 12 in a swimsuit, have for many years now. I bought an XXL/40 but it is quite tight on me.

Taking it off is actually painful. I swim daily and this suit, just like the previous one I purchased from TYR is way smaller than the stated size. It’s about time TYR recognizes that all kinds of ages and bodies swim, not only preteens.

How about making your sizes true to measurements. I won’t be buying another suit from you as I can’t waste anymore money trying to guess which letter or number of your sizes will fit me! I did try to have an email conversation with customer service but they ignored me when I pointed out the sizes and measurements were unrelated to fit.

Shame, it’s a good looking suit.

I really love this suit. In fact, it is the most comfortable suit I have ever owned. I think because there are such thin straps, it doesn’t offer the support you need if you have a chest, but the way it feels in the water makes up for that.

The fabric is very forgiving, to the point that I started to reconsider other factors to focus on the fabric. I got a 36, which in most Tyr suits fits snugly like a competition suit, but because of the thin straps and cut, I wonder if I should have got a 34.

I purchased another Tyr suit with more straps in the back in the same size, and it offered the fit I am used to. I like the leg cut too — a little cheeky but not obscene. Also, thank you Tyr for making a pink suit — kind of fun considering the standard blue/red/green/black patterns can lack imagination and start to look the same over time.

I decided to break out of the mold of the TYR Durafast Elite Maxfit one piece suits that I’ve worn FOREVER, and I’m glad I did. This suit has great coverage, especially of the buttocks, and is lightweight and flexible.

It’s fun to be wearing a print again. I hope TYR can increase production so this suit is available in my size (36) in additional colors. I’ve only had the suit a couple of weeks so it’s hard to rate the performance and durability.

Fingers crossed that both will be excellent.

Size up! I’m 5’2, 110 pounds and an xs was much too small. I was very excited when it arrived, but disappointed once I got it on. It was very cheeky! I didn’t expect the bottoms to have so little coverage.

On a positive note, the color and striped pattern were beautiful. Unfortunately I will have to return.

Love the style and colour but found that the body was very short. I think it’s supposed to be a cheeky style which could explain the length, but the shortness in the torso also caused the chest to be quite tight and pulling down- not very flattering.

I’m not very big in the chest, so was surprised that it didn’t fit there- normally I have the opposite problem needing a larger size on the bottom than top. Would probably look great on someone else or loved by someone who’s comfortable with a cheeky style!.

This is a beautiful suit and the fabric is really nice. I gave it 3 stars because it is beautiful but the support on the top is not good. I wear a 38DD and it’s just not enough support. The straps dug into my skin.

I gave the suit to my sister in law that has enhancements because I thought it would stay in place for her. and that she would not need as much support. It would work well for someone that is smaller chested as well.

Bought a black “American women” one piece. Loved it! Got lots of compliments. I bought a second suit that I wasn’t happy with. It was a white with USA on it. The white suit was not white. More like a cream which was disappointing.

Great quality, this is my 2nd bikini from doll and I love them. The shiny ties look really nice but are on the stiff side. Only reason for 3 stars is because the “double strap” is literally 2 separate full length straps.

Tying both straps behind your neck extremely bulky and awkward. Wearing with my hair down makes me look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame Keeping the top but looking for another way to tie the 2nd strap.

If that fails I will try to alter the straps for a more pleasant/less awkward look.

These bottoms fit great. True to size. The quality of Doll swimwear far exceeds other suits I have tried. We live in the OBX all summer so I have an entire wardrobe of Doll swimwear! I even used one of their suits for my “wedding dress” last summer!.

Love love love this suit. These bottoms are super comfortable and flattering. I wasn’t sure if the lace band would feel tight or constricting but it sits perfectly. Very Well made. Washes well. Bought it in other colors because I loved it so much.

This suit is ADORABLE! I bought it for our holiday in Costa Rica. I LOVE the blue color with the flower print. From the front, it looks like a one piece and from the back, it looks like a 2 piece! True to size fitting; I’m normally a XL in swimsuits and this fits perfectly.

It takes a bit of sorting out when putting it on bc of the front cross piece and the straps, but it’s easy enough. I wish that the blue cross pieces from the top to the bottom sides were sewn in bc they do move up a bit while wearing them.

I’m planning on bringing mine to a seamstress to sew them together so they don’t move. The price for the suit is absolutely reasonable and shopping was fast to boot!! Overall, I’m TRULY HAPPY about this suit! It’s comfy I feel beautiful in it! ❤️.

Usually, a suit is cute on or it’s not. This one is interesting because it has potential to look good on anyone who sizes it right since the front is basic flattering design and the back makes it sexy.

I gave 3 stars because it is a pretty basic suit for price. The material is matte, not shiny, so it looks plain but not cheap. It is fairly soft and doesn’t look trashy like can happen w/this style. I am 5’2″ 140, pear shaped, so more hips showed through cut outs than preferred, but I adjusted fabric to rise a bit higher on my hips which aligned holes better w/smallest area of my waist.

Fit flexibility is possible due to adjustable straps, but the cups were too low so I needed to raise them up which would have made the suit too short in length. I will be returning for a large.

Firstly before review of this suit I wanted to say if you’re on the fence about ordering a bathing suit from this company don’t be! I know it’s hard to order online and there prices are so reasonable it can feel like it’s not going to be like the pics.

This is the 7th one piece I have ordered from Cupshe and they have all been amazing quality and value. Now on to this suit. The color is even more beautiful in person I haven’t seen this particular color often and I’m in love.

It’s almost like a dark mauve burgundy-the pics don’t do it justice. The material is quality and hold my shape well. The design is pretty genius you get the cute criss cross back but the chest support of adjustable straps-my fav feature.

It is a very deep vneck and shows a lot of chest and bust. The criss cross are in the back also hits pretty low. I am 5’3” and 130 with DD cups and got a medium. It fit perfectly through the body and was slightly small in the chest which is to be expected due to my proportions.

Overall def recommend.

Great color & one piece. Exactly how it’s pictured. Not super sexy but definitely not unsexy. Easy to wear and the color is very a very flattering red. I’d love to see a slightly higher cut version/ more colors in ribbed.

I’m 5’2 under 100lbs & the straps a little too big but not enough where they are constantly falling down. I don’t own the non ribbed to compare. Looks higher cut in the photos to me. I inquired and was told they are the same.

I just love the ribbed. Can def wear as a bodysuit which i did when luggage was lost!.

I purchased one pink bathing suit and absolutely loved it so I decided to purchase 2 more and this Anne-Marie Tie is one of them and I love it. Wonderful quality and design. I will post a photo in the near future when I have the pleasure of wearing them.

Ordered a few models and this was the one I kept. Loved the belt. Got compliments the first day I wore it. I did have to send it back for a larger size. I typically wear a small and the medium fit better in this case.
