20 Best 500 Lb Capacity Treadmill (2022 Updated)

This is a very nice treadmill. I’m in my sixties and want to keep the old bones moving so after reviewing a few treadmills we decided on this one. I like that it has the incline feature and is pretty maneuverable if you need to move it elsewhere.

It was easy to set up and took just a few minutes. It doesn’t take up much space when using it for those who have limited space in their homes. I’m enjoying it twice a day so far. The only drawback to me, and it isn’t huge, is that there isn’t a fan on it.

But that could be remedied by clipping a mini one to the top of it I suppose. It is a narrow treadmill so that might be of concern to anyone who wants a wider track but it’s working out for us. I do recommend it for anyone looking into treadmills.

I ordered this treadmill with trepidation as the price point is so low. The treadmill arrived on time, it’s almost 100% assembled, was so easy to finalize and get it going it’s practically plug and play.

It is both compact and robust. I have another treadmill that now just looks bulky next to this. The controls on the hand rails are convenient. I have also been using Sunny Health’s trainers on youtube to kick me back into the running spirit.

Overall I am pleasantly surprised.

The treadmill itself works just fine. The media port and the quick incline buttons do not work. It is extremely disappointing when i specifically bought this treadmill for those features. I’ve contacted customer service twice and have not gotten a response.

When you spend a good amount of money on a treadmill you would expect it to work as advertised. I will never purchase a treadmill from them again.

We live in a 2nd floor condo and this is HEAVY, my wife and are quite strong but we struggled moving the unpacked parts, hence my suggestion to assemble it in the area where you intend to use, it is actually easier to move once assembled with the wheels installed as delivered, but we had a restricted route to the final place of usage.

The instructions were excellent and if you take your time its easy. Be careful with the connector between the main frame and the console mine arrived with a bend pin which I managed to straighten but it looked at first that this was a doa unit.

_x000D_ The connector is not flimsy just needs confident and careful pushing together once you’ve cut off the retaining clip. _x000D_ _x000D_ Just started using it and it is quiet and easy to use, very gradual in start up and the handles make you feel safe.

This is a fantastic treadmill. It was easy to put together and easy to use. It was worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to have a very quiet treadmill in your home. I can walk on it at night when everyone is sleeping and no one hears me walking.

This is a phenomenal treadmill! Sturdy as can be, smooth functioning, clear, easy-to-use dashboard, perfect ledge to support video pad, priced fairly, quickly delivered, easy to install. I love it! I am using it every day to better my health.

I wanted a no frills, lower cost, quiet and small footprint treadmill. The Marcy treadmill is what I needed for walking exercise at home (16in wide belt okay). Easy Sam’s Club online purchase, delivered by FedEx in four days.

The huge shipping box was damaged and treadmill had small plastic, chipped off, only cosmetic. Shipping box is big and heavy for one person with moving dolly. Two strong people needed to move up any stairs (125lbs).

Happy so far, hope it lasts.

I bought this treadmill a month ago, it came a week early! It was delivered right to my front door, and I live on the second floor at my apartment. It is very sturdy and easy to set up, no assembly required.

You just have to put the little red safety pin in for it to work, which only took a quick second to pop in. It folds down and moves easily! I had been researching different treadmills for months of different sights, I’m so glad I found this one! It came with a slight defect in the belt, It probably came from the way it packaged, but it doesn’t affect the use of the treadmill.

It also came with the treadmill oil for later use. I’m happy with my purchase!.

Really great tredmill. It fits just about anywhere it is great because you can always roll it from wherever area you need to any other room. It’s got a really nice footprint and it works wonderfully.

It is very well made and our family is getting fit and healthy everyday thank you for this wonderful product.

Great treadmill. Came completely assembled except for phone holder and handles for high incline. Runs smoothly and quietly and since I like to alternate running with walking, transition of speeds very smooth.

Just wish turn on bottom on bottom didn’t produce such a very loud noise but otherwise fantastic machine. Am very pleased. Hopefully will last a long time. Now I only have to go to gym for Zumba and to swim.

A beautiful treadmill thats extra quite. Great dashboard with continuous readout of enormous specs. Hand grips with incline and speed adjustments are perfect location. Minimal set up. One great quality home treadmill at the lowest price to be found delivered free right to my door.

I waited a month to really experience this incline treadmill to determine if it was a good buy. Well, I love it, for real. Even on my rest day I want to use it. The incline gives a great work out and is a very smooth transition.

I wanted a treadmill that was basically flat when folded up so it would take up less space in my apartment and this is perfect. It is quiet while running so I can still hear music or TV. I have no complaints.

Just an fyi that it is a little heavy to move but I manage based on instruction manuel.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Sunny health. Our first phone call to the company was to get general information about the treadmill we wanted to purchase. We were fortunate enough to run into one of the folks there and she was remarkably helpful.

Really a terrific representative for the company. I believe her name was Jerry. In any event the level of her willingness to answer all my questions and volunteer information about the product was really impressive.

Because of that experience we determined that we would purchase from Sunny health because frankly although we had shopped other brands we had not encountered anyone as helpful. We ordered it and within five working days, the unit arrived and my husband and I set it up with no problem, it just took a little time to do but within an hour and a half or so we were looking at our brand new treadmill.

The unit is smaller than many of the treadmills generally available. We placed ours in our spare bedroom and the size was perfect. The product seems a very good quality. It runs silently. My husband and I are in our 70’s.

We wanted a solid treadmill to walk on although this unit could accommodate a good run. Thanks Sunny Health!.

Although it was rough to get the unit up to my 3rd floor apartment, that’s not it’s fault! That’s pretty much the only tough thing about the whole experience so far. _x000D_ _x000D_ Shipping was totally reasonable for the times we are living in, the packaging was sturdy and not damaged.

There was a little scuffing on the unit, but nothing that isn’t allowable for a piece of equipment this size. _x000D_ _x000D_ Setup was very easy. I needed help getting it up the stairs (yikes), and lifting everything out of the box, because it comes all of a piece, but otherwise I did the setup by myself (not super in shape lady of middle years).

If you can use a hex wrench you’re good; an extra hand would be helpful but not necessary. The instructions are adequate if succinct, and everything you need is in the box. _x000D_ _x000D_ The arms of the unit are a little wiggly side to side after setup, and there was one bolt housing that was kind of badly machined so it didn’t line up perfectly.

That doesn’t make anything unusable or faulty, just a small annoyance. _x000D_ _x000D_ I have had the treadmill for about 2 weeks now, and have used it 4/7 days a week so far. Overall, it’s great! It has a slightly smaller than I’m used to tread surface, but after a couple uses, I acclimated and it’s no problem.

Being smaller so it can fit in an apartment is a good thing. _x000D_ _x000D_ The controls are intuitive for anyone that’s used a treadmill before, and probably for those who have not. The heart rate monitor on the handles is a useful feature.

I haven’t used the programs yet, but I’m looking forward to that, it’s more like walking outside. I’ve used those features on treadmills before and really enjoyed the variance. _x000D_ _x000D_ As mentioned, I live in a 3rd floor apt.

I bought some floor padding from Home Depot that is intended for weight rooms, with padding and a hard surface on the top. My roommate has no idea when I’m using it, and my downstairs neighbor hasn’t complained, and it’s in a common area of the apt.

Even better than expected! _x000D_ _x000D_ Overall, never having purchased a treadmill before, and only having used them in gyms, I’m really pleased with this purchase. The quality of this treadmill is great off the jump, and I would recommend.

I have used Sunny brand products in gyms before and I find the consumer line to be in line with what I have used in gyms so far. _x000D_ _x000D_ If you need and have help getting it where it’s going, you’re going to be good to go.

I’ve only had it set-up for a few days, but so far I love it. It arrived on schedule and was left at my front door. (Interesting that no one called to let me know it was being delivered. Fortunately, my front door is in a covered area where it doesn’t rain.

) I’m amazed at how quiet it is compared to my former treadmill. Other than being very heavy to manipulate (a sign of its sturdiness), it was easy for a handyman friend to assemble. It’s the perfect size to fit in my small walk-in closet.

The only thing missing is a ledge to hold my iPad, though I knew it didn’t have one when I ordered it. Hopefully, it will continue to function well for many years.

First the good: small and narrow if you have limited room. Folds/lowers easily. The bad: small and narrow. Counts down to start and starts at 0. 5 mph. The time starts immediately but the steps aren’t counted for anywhere from 7 to 17 seconds depending on how fast you set it.

At 6. 2 mph a high pitched “alarm” sounds continually. When it gets to 1 hour, seconds are no longer counted so if you need accuracy, bring a stop watch. There’s more but these are the main highlights.

As someone who needs to run on a treadmill, disappointing. I’ve given it over 2 months to get used to it. Still don’t like it.

I bought this to replace a high end but older treadmilled that was beyond repair​. I purchased based on price point, the auto incline option, and it had a lot of positive reviews on multiple websites.

Walmart offered the best price. This treadmill was a bit heavy to move inside by myself, so I used a two wheeler to help lighten the load. I got it unpacked and assembled while my toddler napped. The fold up feature with the air assistance up and down is awesome.

The screen is bright, and over all it is quiet. I actually tested walking and jogging on it while talking on the phone. My friend couldn’t even hear it and she was on speaker phone. I was leary about the short handles.

I’m used to handlebars that go clear to the back of the running platform. I hardly noticed these were shorter. The quality is better than I expected considering the price point plus the extras this treadmill comes with.

There is one quirk, one of the screw holes at the base of the support bars is off or misaligned. Trying to get the screw in all the way is stripping the hole. I understand when these things are being machined, machines can get off course and until it causes a major issue in production, pieces will get machined with misalignments.

It’s the nature of the beast when mass producing items. Overall, even with a wonky screw hole, I’d recommend this treadmill. I’m pleased I tried this option and price point.

Very happy I bought this. We’re an older couple so could have done with a lower max speed and without the programs but that’s ok. It’ll be a selling point when that day comes. The final assembly was easy, again we love it.

One caution. Heavy. Took both me and the FedEx driver to get it off the truck and downstairs. Factor that into your delivery day.

I like the treadmill a lot, once it’s unfolded. And the fact there was zero assembly is a major plus. But getting the treadmill unfolded was nearly impossible. I read the instructions repeatedly and even looked for a video to make sure I was doing it correctly.

I finally got it unfolded but will likely have to leave it that way because it was so difficult. But being foldable was the number one selling point for me, and now that’s gone. Less important, but still annoying, is the piercing beep at start up and the incredibly bright lights on the display (I had to put tape over them).

Once I am on the treadmill, it is quiet and smooth, and I am enjoying using it, unfortunately these other design flaws make it less than optimal.

Im 79 and have been sick for the last year. Along with covid my physical movement has been at a standstill until we decided to buy a treadmill. We did our research and decided on the Sunny 7718. We ordered and within 3 days we were notified the treadmill was on its way and should receive that night.

Well, we received the treadmill and had our strong and young neighbors help remove the treadmill from the box(Total weight is 138 pounds so just know its going to take some muscle to remove from the box).

The treadmill needed NO ASSEMBLING and believe me that was one of the biggest selling points. The next day we plugged it in, lubricated the belt and found the treadmill ready to go. It’s easy to use.

The panel is simple and not complex. I started out with small walks usually about 5 minute increments and now getting up to 15 minutes at a time. Both my wife and I feel we’ve invested in a machine that is unbelievably sturdy and efficient.

As I said no assembly required. The handles are pull down and sturdy. The are tight and comfortable for both my wife and myself. Bottom line is the Sunny 7718 is a terrific product and capable of doing the job.

I got this treadmill for walking for days when it’s raining or cold. It doesn’t take up a huge amount of space and runs very quiet which I love. It fold up to save space which was a reason I bought it unfortunately during shipping the front end plastic stand piece that supports the treadmill arrived broken and I can’t fold it up other than that I love it.

For those who are a serious runner this one doe not have a incline but I think you can get one in a upgrade version. I like that this one is quiet and doesn’t take up a whole room the speed is good and runs smoothly.

This was my first real upgraded treadmill. I’ve bought budget ones in the past, so this was a treat to myself. Everything feels thick, solid and sturdy. Almost like a piece of pro equipment you would find at a gym.

It feels like it can really take a beating (and it has!) and you can really run/sprint pretty hard on this thing. Has 2 cupholders and 2 storage nooks to store things like your phone, remotes or prop a book up on.

This thing is awesome. Worth every penny!.

Easy to assemble and works perfectly. It has a large bright display and is easy to read. The speed controls are convenient and you can switch it up with just a push of a button. This thing goes up to 11 MPH!! Holy smokes.

I’m not there yet but I’m excited I can really start pushing myself to lose weight.

The Sunny Health & fitness treadmill was easy to assemble and works perfectly. It’s large display makes it easy to read. The only thing I miss is an incline feature but the speed and multiple programs makes up for it.

I purchased this unit because it was easy to store, and was NOT powered buy an electric motor. My Doctor agreed that powering with my stride would do more to strengthen my leg muscles than just trying to keep up with whatever speed the electric types were going.

I also found it toned my arm muscles as well since I needed to keep my balance while walking on a sloping tread. I’m 92 years old and my legs were getting a bit weak and unsteady, so decided on this move.

I never was wild about walking outdoors for exercise, so this decision was made for convenience. It’s right there waiting to be used parked beside my dining room table.

The product was received in good condition with the exception that the lid of the plastic bottle of silicone lubricant was split and the contents spilt inside the plastic zip bag. Set up was relatively straight forward.

The instructions were clear except for the connections for the electronic counter which fit in the handlebar – that took some guesswork with the final result being that the counter didn’t work as advertised – does not activate when the deck is in use.

As for using it – never having been on a treadmill before, I personally found the deck angle a little steep as it was forcing me to walk more quickly than was comfortable (I have spinal stenosis and my mobility is somewhat limited).

In order to alleviate this I placed some wooden slats under the rear supports which reduced the angle of the deck, making it more comfortable for me. I would think that, over time, I will be able to remove the slats.

After a month of usage, I am pleased with it. I have a daily routine of 20 minutes every morning and am feeling the benefits already (at first I was a little skeptical and thought that the novelty might soon wear off – but to my surprise I look forward to using it every day!) As for folding it up and moving it – it’s a breeze and takes up very little room once in the stored position.

Bottom line – it’s well built, rugged and it does what it says on the tin (British expression meaning it performs as advertised). I removed one star as the electronic thingy doesn’t work, but then I really don’t see a need for it anyway as a wristwatch serves the same purpose.

I was slightly worried about getting this for my home as previously I’ve always used gym equipment but could no way afford ones of that standard for home. Gym membership was getting too costly so trying to set up a home one on a budget seemed best idea.

I scoured the internet and read hundreds of reviews on every different type of running machine out there but the one thing pinning me down was cost. Then this little beauty came along. I was skepical at first but after taking a gamble I can honestly say it is the best thing I ever did! Easy to set up.

Has good sturdy weight to it. Super easy to use and what I love best is it gives you a better work out than the electronic machines as it’s self propelled by you. I use it for walking when the weather isn’t great outside, the dog can be walked on it (again when weather is too bad outside and dog won’t go out) and it’s even sturdy enough that I use it to run on.

Cannot recommend this product enough! Why spend thousands when you can get what you need for less than $100!.

For the price it was a good buy. Did everything as advertised. Gives you a five star workout, that’s for sure. Beginners won’t be able to go more than five minutes on this treadmill. The only drawback is the minimum amount of exertion to move the tread, but this could be inherent of all Manual treadmills.

Smooth action once you get going. Has a small size but a 16 inch wide walking deck making it easy to fit just about anywhere. 30 dollars cheaper at walmart. com than amazon.

The treadmill is perfect as a minimalist device just the basics (speed, HR, time, distance), the lack of motor is a nice change my walk is more natural and I have better control of my pace since I only walk on it it’s great for me.

I also find I feel the workout more than a motorized treadmill though for running I would probably use a motorized treadmill. Not needing A/C and having a small footprint I have more options for placement.

For me, this treadmill is perfect. And I studied a lot of treadmills, including the two that I almost bought (a Nordictrack $800 one, and a Smooth Fitness $900 one). It was easy for a 63 yr old lady who has a bachelor’s degree in health, physical education and health, to put together; most of it was already put together at the factory.

I’m pleased that I’m not using any electricity, since I’m cheap, always trying to save a buck. All I wanted was something to push the heart a bit, and this really does. I simply walk inside the house for a set time, and then hop on the treadmill for an additional 10 or 15 minutes of uphill.

I don’t run, but walk, but you can increase/decrease your workout on this treadmill by simply walking faster or slower. It is very easy to pace yourself, once you get the knack of walking on it. The LCD display is great, although myself, I find it sort of distracting to know I’ve walked a long time, only to look to see that I’ve only burned about 10 calories.

:/ Of course, this isn’t the machine’s fault. It works quite well, not a lot of bells and whistles, although it tells you basics (time, distance, calories burned, pulse rate) It doesn’t take up lots of space, and I guess it folds up, but why would I want to fold it up? I just GOT it.

How can I use it if it’s folded up? Well, in the end, yeah, I would definitely recommend it. But remember, you can only go uphill. That’s what keeps the belt moving, but that’s what keeps your heart moving, too, which might be why you’re alive now and reading this, especially if you’re an old bat, like me.

Have had this treadmill for a couple weeks and my initial impression is that I am impressed overall though it has some less than desirable traits. First the build, pretty straight forward for the most part but one problem I ran across and have seen other reviews state the same thing, there are plastic cover pieces that connect the handle handle bars and console.

These are just cosmetic pieces to cover where the connection between the two units occur. Talk about a PITA, you have to connect a super tiny screw from underneath through the plastic piece to the console area.

This alone was over half the time the build required and even at that I was only able to get 3 of the 4 screws in the right location. The forth screw is angled inside the side of the plastic piece. Bad design but it doesnt affect the overall use of the treadmill.

The treadmill itself and power it has really feels like a solid unit. The motor is quiet in comparison to some other treadmills I have used and when it elevates its very smooth. The basic programs and functionality of the unit work great and I enjoy the basic screen display.

Overall the controls are pretty well though out. One issue I had was the User 1 and User 2 settings. Either I don’t fully understand how to use these or they are not very functional. It isnt something I would have needed anyways.

Couple things to keep in mind as far as the Sole Apps, the two Android apps are useless. First they wouldnt work, they were glitchy and pretty useless to keep track of your workouts. I use another app on my phone and manually enter my data.

There is a program called Studio that they show on the Sole website that offers 30 days free trial which is a digital fitness platform. Here comes the issue with that, its only for iOS products, so if you are like 70+ percent of the public and use Android you wont be able to use this platform.

Nowhere on the Sole website does it state this information. I had to contact Studio and they informed me only Apple products are supported and no plans to move to Android in the future. So that was a bummer.

The fan and speaker on the unit are useless. Which I think won’t really matter for most people. Most treadmills have weak fans and anyone who needs air flow will have a powerful fan off to the side blowing on them.

The Tiny speakers don’t really come into play either because just like most people you either don’t have any entertainment on and go quiet running, have a tv on in front of you are use headphones and stream your music.

These are all things future models could improve on but are not the main reason you buy a treadmill. Overall value is excellent though and the hope is it will continue to perform well for years to come.

This was actually my second choice in treadmills but had to go pick it up because of a big issue with Nordictrack aka iFit. I have iFit products and have enjoyed the on screen workouts but had some issues with their equipment.

Regardless I purchased a 1750 direct from Nordictrack which was only supposed to take a couple weeks to be shipped and received. Well long story short, they shipped in 3 days, the delivery company had the product but wouldn’t schedule delivery, nobody ever called me to schedule a date.

After two months of endless phone calls to Nordictrack they finally cancelled my order out of the blue. Seems as though Nordictrack/iFit is having some huge problems with distribution and nobody at that company wanted to help.

So after the cancellation instead of ordering online Dicks had the F80 (which was my initial second choice) in stock where I could go pick it up and be done. The people at Dicks were very nice and helped load the big box.

I highly recommend the staff at Dicks over these online direct ship retailers.

This is a great treadmill! We are very happy with this purchase. It feels very sturdy, runs smoothly, and it looks great. We bought this thinking that we needed something as quiet as can be, and this is even quieter than I expected! If you turn off the fan, it makes it even quieter.

We have this on a treadmill mat on carpet, and it’s very stable. The folding up feature of the treadmill makes it easy to save a bit of space when needed, and makes vacuuming underneath a breeze. To be able to push the lever and then let it fall slowly all on its own back to running position is important.

I didn’t want a treadmill that could fall and hurt kids or a pet if it gets bumped, and I didn’t want to trust our teen to rely on strength to lower it safely. The iPad holder (including for the larger Pro) with a USB-A charging port there means that the whole family can cycle through taking turns while having some entertainment.

I used a stick-on clip to position a charging cord there, and that cord now blends in and lives right there all the time. I really like the incline and speed up and down buttons on the left and right arms.

They are very convenient. There are tons of great storage spaces for water bottles, towels, phones, things from your pockets, etc. Additional comments / potential improvements:People have mentioned that the lag time between selecting an incline and getting to that incline is slow, but this doesn’t bother me at all.

It seems to start on its way right away and make slow, gradual motion until it gets there. No problem! I’m not trying to simulate speed bumps. I have no problem with the behavior of this treadmill in that regard.

My one complaint (it’s a small thing, but for me, personally, it’s a tough one) is that there is no hundredths place on the mileage. This is such an easy thing to have included that it’s disappointing it’s not there.

I, and many others I know, make running on a treadmill into a mind game. “Just a little further. ” “I’ll stop when I get another quarter mile in. ” I can’t do that NEARLY so effectively when I don’t see the hundredths place tick by.

I wish Sole had enabled that resolution or at least provided a setting to show it for those of us who do want it. This comment is here mostly in hopes Sole will see it and make a change to future models, because overall, the product is a winner, but had I realized this ahead of time, I may not have wound up with this product.

Regardless, I’m glad we did, because this is a great treadmill!.

It is a complicated thing to design and manufacture a treadmill; to send it from the factory in China; to have it shipped from the port in Los Angeles to me in San Francisco; to have technicians set it up all this was done, even in the midst of this pandemic, smoothly.

I dealt with companies in Salt Lake City, Texas and Oakland, not to mention the engineers who designed it, the company in China which did the assembly, packing and shipping, and the ocean freighter which brought it to Los Angeles, and everything was coordinated to perfection.

I admire whoever is overseeing the system. It seems strange that an ordinary person like me should be able to own such a miracle of fabrication and organization. I had a treadmill before, which was probably a good brand, but which failed probably because I over-oiled it.

But I like this one better. Strangely, because it seems so trivial, one of the things I like best is that the Sole has a stand on which I can put my iPad and watch movies. The model I had before required that I rest the iPad over the control screen.

This caused my wife to have an accident, because she did not see the control screen (the iPad was resting on it) as she pushed the acceleration button past the speed she could handle. Small things, but important.

One improvement Sole could make is make it possible to dim the control screen so that its light does not interfere with the movie you are watching. I had to put a piece of cardboard over the control screen to block out the light, which is somewhat low-tech but effective.

I really enjoyed and used this treadmill throughout quarantine quite a bit. It performs like it promises. It feels sturdy and was easy to run on and get to a high incline. Unfortunately, I now have two gripes.

The first is that the motor stopped working after 1. 5 years on me. I did the initial trouble shooting, and then found that customer service was pretty limited with how they could help me. After some more cumbersome troubleshooting, I was sent to a completely different company.

The quote from them was $430 to fix the motor control board, which isn’t covered by warranty (motor is). This was extremely disappointing and I didn’t feel that something like this should have quit so early on in me owning this.

The second complaint I have, is that this happened shortly before I moved, and could not fit the assembled machine out of my basement without disassembling. The bolts were impossible to get off. I am not someone who is so strong that could have secured these bolts so firmly that soaking them with WD40 and then yanking on the Allen wrench with all my might shouldn’t have been able to loosen.

I had really liked this machine, but would caution the purchase if you want it to last, or if you need to be able to move this through a standard door frame in the future. I ended up gifting it to the new home owners, and gratefully they are willing to take it.

I bought a T101 on July 2020, to use it in my basement. I am the only person using it. When I got it at home, the treadmill was not working. After about a month, I received a replacement part and a tech visited my home to repair the treadmill.

I then used the treadmill for about 3-4 months, running 3-5 times a week, each time 30′ at 8mph. In mid November 2020, less than 4 months after my treadmill was repaired, the treadmill started to automatically shut off.

First, 25 minutes into the run, but then much earlier, with some runs being as short as 5-10minutes. I contacted the service again (email, website, phone, a lot of time wasted), and it took a while until I got an answer, meaning that I couldn’t properly use the treadmill from mid November 2020 till the first week of January 2021.

The tech visited, and found that the belt and the board under it had to be changed. In his words, this treadmill is not built for running at 8mph 3-5 days a week, it is mostly intended for walking. So now I have a new board, a new board, a new belt, and I’m waiting to see when the treadmill will break again.

Hopefully, it will happen before the end of warranty, as I have been told by the serviceman that the parts I already got would amount to more that 50% of the cost of the treadmill, and that does not include labor.

Otherwise, in a few months I will find that I have a broken treadmill which I barely used, and which may be wise to replace for a new one. Now, every time I use the treadmill, I am afraid it will unexpectedly shut down and I will fall, as it has already happened.

So my advice is, DO NOT PURCHASE this treadmill if you plan to use it to run (even 30′ 3-5 times a week as I do). Although in the website it is advertised to be good treadmill for running which can go up to 10mph, that does not seem to be the case; this treadmill is mostly intended for walking.

Indeed, those were the words of the tech servicing my treadmill for the second time in 6 months.

I was very excited to receive this affordable, well made treadmill. Sadly realizing how naive I was after a year. Had a lag issue from day one and horizon would not give me a refund, their only option was to send me another machine, what kind of business model is this?? They wouldn’t even take the old machine, it was my responsibility to get rid of it.

Not to mention the 3 different technicians that tried to fix it and failed, they replaced all the parts and still had the issue. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with anything I bought. Also Horizen has the worst customer service, I called all numbers, no one answers and your supposed to leave a message, and emailed on their website and nothing for 4 months.

Horrible experience. I am now a year in with one defective treadmill and one new treadmill. I do not want to open the new one because I do not want to use anything this company makes. Trying to sell it and no one is interested in buying this mistake.

Never purchased a treadmill before. This one was recommended by family member who had purchased the TR4000i a few months earlier. I looked at some cheaper brands but believe you get what you pay for.

This unit looks like it will last for years. This unit is well built and packaged very well for shipping. It was received in perfect condition. Only issues I have is it taking way to long to connect the electronic wire connections with confusing wire colors (ve been an electronics tech for decades).

Small metric screw missing for mounting convenience tray. I probably can get from local hardware store but haven’t tried yet. Lastly, the short handles for monitoring your pulse rate, that are in front of the user, are a bit too low for my 6’4†frame.

Their height is not adjustable. I can get a reading using them but can’t hold on to them for more than maybe 30 seconds because of the uncomfortable position their height puts me in. I know there is a strap assembly available to monitor pulse rate but I don’t want to spend anymore money on this.

Overall, this is a quality unit, well built, and should last many years. I would buy again.

Love the treadmill but not the customer service. Have had the treadmill now for 2 months and have not been able to talk to anyone regarding issues with the unit. There is no phone number you can call and talk to someone.

You have to leave a message and receive a call back. Then when they call and you are not available they leave the a non working number. So frustrating. I have never seen anything like the difficulty we have had.

Would definitely look at purchasing a different treadmill if had to do it again just because we can not get follow up service which is much needed.

If your looking for a treadmill that works just look somewhere else. I had nothing but issues with these treadmill 5 months after the purchase. The belt start slipping even after I lubricated right on schedule per the instructions of the manual.

I was advise by Preston Bunnell to call the repair shop to get it diagnosed. The repair shop wanted me charge me $135 to come in and check it and another $90 to come back and replace any parts. Then I will have to wait for the part from LifeSpan to get it and get it replace.

Only after I complaint I was then advise that it was probably the belt and that they will send me a new one. I received a new belt, and instructions in how to change it. I changed the belt and it work perfectly.

Well at least for 2 months. After that the treadmill start slipping again and I was told that I had to get it diagnosed by a certified repair shop. Conveniently enough I couldn’t buy the extended warranty for service anymore from LifeSpan so either I payed to have it diagnosed or end up with a non working $1100 Treadmill that only worked for less than 6 months.

Now because of the current situation on Covid 19 and I wanted to see if I can get it working again but I guess I am out of luck since the warranty for the parts expired now. In retrospect I probably end up paying $50 every time I use the Treadmill for one hour.

While Lifespan already pocketed my $1100 and now it just sitting on my office taking up space. Only reason I haven’t put it on the trash can is because it doesn’t fit. Their product quality- 1 Star because it worked for 6 months Customer Services – 0 Starts because unless you complain they will not care you have a non working treadmill Parts Warranty – 2 Start since I did got a new belt which allowed me to use the treadmill 3 more times after it started slipping again.

Awful. Came in dozens of pieces. Took over an hour just to unbox. The instructions were horrible and half the pieces were warped and wouldn’t go together without a lot of encouragement from a hammer.

The arm on the base that holds the track up when folded sticks and is a nightmare to get it to open to let the base unfold. The hydraulic arm doesn’t work all the time and it’s a struggle to get it to let the base go all the way down (when the other arm isn’t stuck).

I also don’t for one second believe this thing can handle anywhere near 400 pounds. If I could figure out how to repackage and return this thing, I would. (I have owned this brand of treadmill, just an older model, in the past and I loved it.

Definitely not the same quality it used to be! I am also very skilled at assembling all sorts of things, treadmills included. This one really is just a piece of junk. ).

Easy to assemble, but the very first piece that I had to attach was defective. It was too narrow to fit. I contacted the manufacturer and was immediately sent a replacement part at no cost. It arrived within a couple of days.

There was also one area on the main tredmill that was missing a hole for a screw to go in. At that point I decided to continue the assembly without it. I would probably have to take the whole thing back to the store and I didn’t want to deal with that.

It works great even without the missing screw. It dosent take up as much space as I thought it would.

I had this for a week now and I like having it in the home to walk on. Where I live the weather is always humid, frequent storms and it’s nice to have to walk at night, as well. Sometimes getting to the gym is problematic if things get busy in life, it’s easy to walk maybe five to ten minutes whenever you want.

Plenty of benefits. The motor is quiet but I found that at six feet & 325lbs, I find that some of the pivot points become squeaky and the engineer would have probably done better to surface the metal parts that are designed to touch and create friction from the stress of walking with either plastic or rubber materials, so as to reduce noise from the jointed parts.

I plan on calling the company to ask how to fix that because it’s just ever so slightly annoying and the manual says to use only silicon based oil to lubricate it or it will damage it so I would want to ask someone with the company how that should go.

That’s basically my only complaint. The cup holder isn’t a cupholder it’s actually a phone spot. I wish it had a USB port to charge my phone. I think it’s great that there’s plenty of space up front for a table to be put.

The rails are a little low for my height, the tread is just a little short for my stride, but for walking it should be fine. The computer’s memory seems to lapse every so often and forget what time of day I program it to display, unless there’s something I’m not doing.

I found out that adjusting the treadmill is a thing that requires patience and a quick foot sometimes to adjust it. The rails seem solid, I like to stretch upper body and do a version of a push up off of them.

Seems really sturdy. The addition of the piston to help fold the treadmill when not in use it while adjusting the treat alignment is a bonus for this price range. In future models I would also suggest having the ability to save the workout data to a USB memory drive or to a smartphone.

So far so good. Have only used for an hour so far, so this is a preliminary review for the assembly and first use. Assembly wasn’t difficult or complicated; the unit itself IS mostly assembled in the box, and it’s heavy, so two people should probably assemble it together.

I managed solo but it took a lot to muscle the main part out of the box without dropping it. Once I’d gotten all the parts out of the box, assembly wasn’t hard. The instructions are kind of the opposite of those infamous, mostly wordless Swedish Furniture Assembly Instructions, in that these may be TOO detailed, but there are diagrams including an exploded diagram showing what is, I believe, each and every single part, most of which are already put together when it arrives.

Assembly is mostly pretty self-explanatory, though, and could probably be done by most people who have put a few things like this together, (i. e. , assembled any of the aforementioned nordic furnishings,) while only barely glancing at the diagrams.

It IS important to observe the repeated instructions NOT to tighten ANY of the screws or bolts until the end, as that will make your life easier and save you time, since some of the parts have loose tolerances and snugging them up before all others are attached may make it harder to assemble everything.

Also, another important note is that the plate underneath the belt MUST BE OILED BEFORE USING. Doing this will help extend the life of the belt and make it work properly, and the (very thick) oil is included in a cute little bottle with cap.

It’s a manual treadmill which means there’s no motor, no instruments, no power required, etc. , and it works by gravity and an inclined deck. The angle isn’t variable, but it doesn’t need to be as resistance is varied instead by a control on the left vertical member.

Nothing stops one from placing something under either the front or the back, of course, but there’s probably no need to do this. I can confirm the SF-T7732’s resistance control works well and is highly effective taking the machine from one on which I can walk slowly, to one where I’m either speed-walking or jogging, depending on how far I incline.

There’s seems to be no meaningful limit to the speed as there’s no motor, so how fast you’ll go is really a matter of how hard you’re willing to push. I heard somewhere that getting the belt started takes some effort, (possibly from the company’s own videos,) and I don’t know if they haven’t oiled the ramp on theirs enough or I’ve oiled mine too well, but mine requires virtually no effort to start, and works smoothly.

I have, thus far, only ONE real complaint: The control cable on mine has a little too much slack where it exits the left upright tube, which allowed it to get caught between a pair of plates, but there doesn’t seem to have been any real harm done, so I used a zip-tie to hold it out of the way to avoid problems when raising the deck for storing or lowering it for use.

No biggie.

Assembly Attaching the safety bar (4 pieces) to the treadmill went relatively smoothly but for not being able to get the final screw attached to the lower bar despite troubleshooting different solutions for the alignment issue.

This one blip didn’t compromise the integrity of the machine. Performance Sunny Manual Treadmill The manual treadmill takes a bit of getting used to for those who have only ever used motor treadmills.

Since I didn’t want to spend a few grand for a commercial grade treadmill to ensure longevity of the motor combined with the last motor treadmill purchased from another source ($700) lasted only a year before having motor issues, I decided to try a manual treadmill to eliminate the motor variable.

After a month of use, I give the manual treadmill two thumbs up. I get a pretty solid workout while parked in front of the television for an hour. Being an adult over 50, having a consistent workout source was my main objective at an affordable price.

This manual treadmill checks both boxes and is an affordable option under $400. Getting comfortable with a manual treadmill took some patience and persistence to attain a comfortable momentum/pace. After about a month of use, I am very satisfied with the workout experience without the worry of a failing motor.

Note to Sunny Fitness: Consider adding a mile tracker as a something extra for the user. Otherwise two thumbs up for the manual treadmill. Belt: In my case, probably due to shipping, there was a rubbing sound on the right side of the machine maybe due to issues in shipping that caused the belt to shift to the right.

Packaging. Reduce|Reuse|Recycle I was sad to see the oversized single use plastic bag encasing the treadmill and would like to see more sustainable and or recyclable materials used in packaging; save something for the next generation.

This treadmill has been great. There was little to assemble. The resistance is smooth when changing. I only had to make a small adjustment to make the belt track correctly out of the box. I feel that I get a better workout than when I use a motorized treadmill.

I can get on and off without having to do anything. It’s not light weight so it feel well made. To me the noise level is about the same as other treadmills. So far it has been an excellent piece of equipment.

Well, I had some of the same trouble putting this together that others did–the one stabilizer wouldn’t go on because of the adjustment peg, but I tapped it (literally JUST tapped it) into place with a hammer and I was good to go.

As far as the electronics and wires go, you know, you are supposed to shove the extra wire back into the handle and the actual electronic plugs go back into the hole of the computer, right? You should never have dangling wires.

I had one weird screw that fell out from “somewhere” when I was pulling it out of the box, and I’ve yet to figure out where it came from. It’s fairly tiny, too. So it squeaks constantly and it CLUNKS every so often.

And I’m a little irked that it is now about $60 LESS than I paid for it 10 days ago. I’ll contact Walmart about that. Yes indeedy. The instructions are Engrish–when you see phrases like ” Computer got trouble” and “Power IC board get trouble” you know you’re not dealing with something made in an English speaking country.

While there is SOME direction with regard to oiling the belt, this issue doesn’t seem to be coming from the belt, and I don’t think oiling the belt is going to stop the clunking, either. Meh. Not impressed.

Stops every 10 mins, and make a horrible smell. I’m worried I’ve been breathing in some sort of fumes because I’m sitting here feeling like I’m about to throw up. I have to reset the power on it roughly every 10 mins.

It just cuts off. I’m starting to think it’s getting too hot and burning something that’s causing a smell. Not to mention when it stops it’s instantly and very jarring. I’ve nearly fallen a couple of times and it’s made my leg sore.

I had to go to the doctors for Achilles tendonitis. I can’t prove it was the fault of the treadmill but seems odd to happen right after getting this torture contraption. I want to take it back but I really don’t want to have to disassemble it and then put it into my car and drive it to the store.

No box anymore either. BEWARE – You get what you pay for. Also, when it is working, the buttons on the handle are easy to hit by accident and will stop the treadmill. I feel like the other reviews that are positive are from people who don’t actually use this thing.

It seemed great right after putting it together, but some real use shows it’s horrible.

I’ve had this treadmill for about 5 years. It’s great for fast walking or slow jogging. It’s very quiet and folds when not in use. I’ve never had a problem with the performance. I got this for about half the price it’s currently listed at.

I think the prices went up during the pandemic. For a small basic treadmill it’s great.

I love this treadmill. I have only had it a week-BUT NO issues. It was VERY easy to put together and it is VERY quiet when walking on it. I thoroughly researched all different kinds of treadmills and decided on this one, partly due to customer reviews and my own personal needs (I have previously had back surgery and walk everyday).

I do not run, only walk, but at a brisk pace. I bought this one to have at my mother’s when I visit her. When I need to replace the treadmill I currently have at my house-I already know what I will buy-A SUNNY FITNESS TREADMILL!!!!!!.

If you’ve been contemplating between a more traditional treadmill vs a curved manual. Contemplate no more, this is one of the best purchases I have made for running and my family/I’s health. I purchased the white, with kraiburg rubber.

Definitely durable and made for the long haul. I also recommend most of the youtube videos out there to assist with learning to correct your form. I was originally worried that I would not be able to get it through my front door, with a width of 36″.

My front door is exactly 36″. However, the 36″ measurement for the treadmill is for the widest point to include the handrails being attached. When you unbox they are not attached and can be brought in seprately.

The bottom portion’s width is slightly over 31″. Completely possible to bring it through without having to turn it on its side. A ramp of some sort is highly recommended but can be brought inside, without the handrails attached.

Do take care when rolling off of the pallet and to where you will be taking it. There are wires dangling by one of the wheels for the display that you will need to attach at a later point in the set-up.

I wish I had known everything I know now because I could have unpackaged and set-up with myself and a friend. It does require heavy lifting so you will need to assess your capabilities.

The TrueForm Trainer is by far the best treadmill I’ve ever run on. I’m normally an outdoor runner and have always hated treadmills because they feel so unnatural to run on but this machine has changed that.

With less time available these days to dedicate to driving to my favorite running locations I’ve taken to running much more at home and I actually look forward to my run on this every day. That said, I do have a few complaints about the machine.

The heart rate display is useless if you are in the Garmin ecosystem, it only will connect to Polar. The User Manual is equally useless, it’s so vague you might as well not read it. Also, my Trainer arrived unlevel.

There are leveling bolts on the back footrest that can be adjusted with a 19mm wrench but again, that wasn’t even mentioned in the User Manual. And finally, I think they should have made it heavier because it has a tendency to want to slowly move across the floor over time.

I’ll probably end up fabricating some sort of brace to hold the wheels in place.

Trueform troubles!!! Trueform’s website won’t allow any reviews that aren’t 5 star so I’m reviewing here. The trainer was eventually shipped (2 weeks later than they projected) and arrived in good shape.

I began to put it together per the instructions and quickly ran into problems. The handrail wouldn’t align with the upright supports. I used a screwdriver to pry the upright support in order to get it aligned but the metal began to bend/deform.

Not wanting to damage anything I called Trueform’s technical support and got their voicemail. I left a message but they never called back. After some time, being frustrated not being able to use the trainer we waited so long to get and paid so much for we decided to try a ratchet strap in between the uprights to pull them together to get them aligned.

It worked! After a couple days of using the trainer it started to “click” really loud. I tried calling trueform again. I left messages, no luck. I emailed them. No luck. Then my wife emailed them and 2 days later they responded! They said they would send out a bearings and instructions.

The bearings arrived with no instructions. We emailed them and they stated a technician would repair it. We asked when would they show up and trueform never replied. A week later a gentleman called and said he could repair it in 2 days.

I took a vacation day from work and met him. He said that he never worked on a treadmill like this and that he requested repair info from trueform but they wouldn’t reply. After he looked at the trainer he said that the parts they sent were not the faulty parts.

4 days later larger bearings arrived and because the gentleman never worked on the trainer before I requested a repair manual from trueform. They responded “We will try. “. Really!!! I eventually completely disassembled the trainer and replaced the large roller bearings at the rear of the trainer.

It took about 4 hours. Shortly after that we got the squeak that seems to be common with these treadmills. At this point we aren’t going to bother trying to communicate the squeak to trueform as it’s apparent we will not get any help from them.

Maybe if we purchased the “runner” model we wouldn’t have these problems but it isn’t like the trainer is cheap. I understand that components can be faulty but that is no excuse for the terrible customer service.

If we could do it over we would absolutely not purchase from Trueform. I hope disassembling the treadmill won’t affect the longevity of the treadmill. If you do order from them just hope you get a good one.

En fin esperaba otra cosa, no es que este mal, pero con el tiempo veremos la calidad. PD: el embalaje venia con muchas roturas y hasta el corcho con algunos aplastones, aunque por suerte no afectaba a ninguna pieza.
