Fit was great, look is great, protection for hood appears to good but time will tell, installation was easy-less than an hour, delivery was great. Could have gotten 5 stars if there was upsweep to deflect wind over windshield thus reducing bug splats and windshield sand blasting.

Haven’t really driven through a bug cloud yet so effectiveness unknown. Don’t understand why this unit sits so flat on my Subaru Outback hood. Maybe because of Eyesight system. There’s also the scalloped area at front center that puzzles me.

Installation was straight forward. Tint color good.

It fits better than I thought it might. It actually sits flush around the opening of the stereo.

I needed this for our Subaru Legacy to accompany our new JVC in dash unit with SirisusXM. Was easy to setup and works great! It matches our dash exactly and looks natural like it came with the car!!

Was even better than I had hoped for, very clean, onl difference is that screen on system now vertical when the OEM was sloped to match but that is a difference in the stereo, not the dash. The silver matches really well, not identical, but it blends nicely.

This was not an easy job at all. The exhaust system had 3 connections points that had to be taken off to drop the muffler to have access to mounting the hitch. Drilling the hole was okay and feeding the lugs, washers and nuts was okay.

The heat shield was a real problem as I cut it as shown in Utube videos but it was not enough and the shield was blocking one of the attachment bolts, so snip, snip and I got it in place. The rubber straps to reattach the exhaust system (3) were totally difficult to do especially the two on the muffler.

The tail pipe was okay. I had to lube the rubber fasteners and stretch the hell out of them to reattach. Finally got it. Looks great, works great. Oh year I was NOT on a life but on the ground.

I love this hitch. I was lucky that all the holes on my frame were pre-drilled and made the job very easy. The instructions were really faded so I couldn’t really use them, but I printed out my own from their website and everything went really smoothly.

Only took about an hour and could have done it quicker if I had an impact wrench to take out the old rusted bolts. I was also really lucky that my full size tire still fits up under the bed of the truck.

Just a note, I only had to take one bolt off the frame so the bumper stayed in place for me. The side bumper braces I had to take off so I could get to the bolts, but it was no problem putting them back on.

Arrived in a box – nice! Hitch had one pretty good scratch on it – no worries, touched it up right away with some Rustoleum. Install kit was intact – that’s the main problem I’ve seen with these. Watched a video on YouTube for installing a U-haul hitch (looks exactly like the Draw Tite) on my 2017 Honda CR-V, and was spot on.

Took the gal in the video about 15 mins, took me 2 hrs, but hey, I’m an amateur, don’t have a lift, used jack stands, and was operating upside down under the back of the vehicle the whole time. There’s like 6 steps involved in the install, and each has its “Challenges”.

Overall, a pretty easy install and now we’re set to haul bicycles around!.

Got these because theyre way cheaper than Subaru oem version and overall really pleased. It doesnt bother me, but it may bother others more, but the front visors are about an inch short in the front on the trim.

Its in the photo, but its not that bad. For the price, it can be overlooked. Theyre really great quality.

Nice fit, tight to the bodylines. Easy to install. Functional part that allows fresh air in cabin. Passed the car wash with brushes test with flying colors and not flying vents!

I really like K&N filters. I have had them in every car I own, thats several. I have one right now in my truck too. However, this Forester versions fitment was off. It was extremely difficult to install, and I am not talking about Subaru’s air box placement.

It was like the filter was a little too big. I really had to force it in, and then the top bent down from the pressure. So there is a gap which is concerning.

Came nicely packaged and looks a very well made filter. Popped it in and could notice the car started slightly quicker, and defo pulls through the lower gears faster. Worth the money if you consider, the cost of replacing the paper filter every year.

The K&N air filter is one if not the best. Used by NACAR in almost every vehicle. Every car I have ever owned for 20+ years I have purchased one, you won’t be disappointed. Adds hp, better than factory, clean or change every 30k, love it, it’s in all of my vehicles, always.

Fit my 2020 outback touring just right. I only need to use half to fit all louse stuff in. It saved a large part of my storage area for other things. Pricey, but the car was too! Quality is real good and this should last like I expect the car to do.

It’s a well made, large compartmented, hold-all. fits the back of my Ascent very well. It also collapses down. The one con to it is it’s quite heavy all y itself. So, if you put something like groceries in it, you probably won’t be able to lift it and the groceries at the same time.

But, it’s heavy duty and I love it.

I should have bought this a while back. Good trunk organizer, made with quality materials. Folds flat.

UPDATE: Summit recognized my disappointment with the product and has made it right without even having to ask. I have dealt with Summit for a long time, and they never fail to have great customer service.

This thing fits nothing like portrayed in the pictures. There is big gap all the way around, and here in Florida that will defeat the purpose, keeping sun out. My $10 Wal-Mart universal fit shade covers up every last bit of glass.

I should have stayed with that. Also, the directions say to make sure not to bend the material or it damages it. One panel in this one has been bent previously, but the others haven’t, so the panel must have been bent in production before the other panels were all strung together with it.

I had a Covercraft sunshade in my 2008 Explorer. It has lasted all these years, so I wanted one for my new car, and also bought one for my son’s new truck. They are thicker than other shades, and that seems to keep the heat out much better.

Also, protects the dash of the car from fading and cracking. You can’t beat the longevity, since I’ve had my first one for 14 years. There aren’t many products of any kind that have that type of performance.

Even though the cost maybe more than others, it is well worth the price. I highly recommend it.

This sunshade fits perfectly to my 2019 Ford Transit Connect XLT wagon. Seems to be of sturdy enough construction that if taken care of should last for more than a few seasons, but as I just got the product I can’t document that at this point (hence 4 stars-Quality).

Its design has enough wiggle room in its overall size so as to be able to get it around the rearview mirror and into place. The coverage is very close to the edges and top of the windshield so I’m pleased there as well.

Some have complained of the price but compared to what they have spent for their car I’m sure this is but a drop in the bucket. Pony up people and protect your investment. It’s money well spent.

Great product! Fast shipping! Easy to follow instructions for self installation. I installed this lift on my 2017 Outback by myself but a second pair of hands would have been helpful for a few steps.

Total time for install was about 5 hours and this was the first lift I have ever installed. I had access to a car lift but could have been completed with a jack and jack stands. It has been installed now for a few weeks and do NOT have the 18 – 20 mph shutter that others speak of.

Overall- super happy I purchased this lift!! I do have one negative – the rear sway bar relocation brackets did not fit. I tried everything I could think of. swapping sides, swapping bolts, starting with top bolt first, starting with bottom bolt first, the pre drilled countersink holes were just a little off.

Luckily the bracket is made of aluminum and I had access to a drill press so I was able to shave a little material from each countersink hole so that the bolts would thread and still be flush without having “elongated ” holes.

Other than that all was great! I would recommend this kit to others and I have recommended to other outback owners.

This sunscreen is NOT your typical thing you buy in your local retail stores. When installed, it’s like a room darkening shade that protects your dash & leather seats. When you forget to install it, even for 5 mins, the interior temperature climbs dramatically.

As my better half & our daughter said, “hot seat!!” For the accidental senior moments, I also ordered 2 cooling seats that do the trick of pain relief.

I waited a long time for this item but it was worth it. It looks great installed, custom, not like those awful foil things you see. Works well too although there’s a little exposure around the mirror.

I’m sure this is to allow for the camera feature but it’s a little too big. It’s easy to install but there’s no easy way to stow it, no sleeve or case, or straps/ties to secure it. It sits on my car floor up against the passenger seat.

When I do have a passenger (or two or three) I have to put it in the cargo bay. Inconvenient at best. One last thing- it leaves a faint film where it touches the glass. Weird. Comes off but I wonder what substance is causing that.

But hey, it looks great!.

The hitch is very well built and appears to be of quality construction. The welds and paint are first rate. Quick shipping. The hitch arrived in a very large box, much bigger than the hitch, and was only packed with a wad of packing paper.

?? Although the hitch was undamaged (no paint chipping/scratches/damage/bent parts) that was due to pure luck and not from being packed well. Also, there were no instructions at all to go with the hitch.

I had to google the hitch model and download the them.

Perfect fit for a 2011 Subaru Outback. Ive pulled a 16 aluminum boat with this setup a few times with no issues. Be sure to give yourself a couple of hours to install. You will also need to buy a wiring harness for brake lights and turn signals.

Good price. Item not bent beyond usability. Hitch arrived on Thursday, well ahead of predicted Monday arrival. I did not need it till Monday. The pictures show that once again Fedex destroyed the box.

label shows shipped on the 21st. Received it today, the 23rd. Bottom of box came open during shipping. I wish Fedex would quit trying to destroy the package before it gets here. If there was anything else in the box it is gone.

I do not mind paying extra for shipping if it gets here in one piece and I know nothing is missing from pkg. Normal dings and paint chipping from steel item being packed in cardboard box. I guess we all know not to use Fedex but sometimes the shipper does not give us options.

Purchased this to go with an existing set of Givi Panniers and replace my plastic Kappa top case. Everything from Givi is of excellent quality that I have purchased. It is very expensive but you get what you pay for.

One fitting issue to watch out for is that you may need to put the rubber bumpers into the baseplate in order to get it to attach properly. Plus I had to use a decent amount of force to get it to latch but once you figure out how much pressure to apply it works flawlessly.

Recommend getting the top lid netting and I installed a rechargeable LED motion light for those dark nights you need to find stuff. Will take a full size modular adventure helmet with room to shove gloves, jacket and other stuff in there.

It’s the little things that make the givi so much better than other brands of boxes. The solid, heavy duty feel of the latches and levers. The quality of the plactic dust cover that protects the key slot.

The way the lid opens and closes smoothly and lines up perfectly without having to wiggle it to get it closed all the way. All of these little things add up to one clear fact. The givi Outback boxes are as good as it gets at any price.

3 stars means I got what I wanted and what I expected at a fair price. I am happy with my purchase and would do it again. This item is the genuine Subaru part that would be installed by the dealer. The item is extremely easy to install, and in no way justifies the $57.

00 installation fee that I was quoted. I watched an online video of the installation but my time would have been better spent just putting it in. A medium-sized flat-blade screwdriver would make it easier to slip the tabs in, but that’s all you need.

The protector will help to keep the seat-back cleaner, and itself will be easy to wipe down if necessary.

The plastic material is designed to cover only the existing carpet on the back of the seat. I have leather seats and the top two inches of the back of the seat is leather, that when you lay the seat down sits higher than the carpet.

If you slide something in the back of the car it has a tendency to slide over the leather while scraping it. I bought these in hopes that the plastic material would cover the leather and protect it, but it falls short about 2 in.

In other words I still have to lay a blanket at the edge of the seat and lift whatever I put in the car up and over it like I used to do. Like the product, but it falls short 5% making it 95% ineffective to protect the seat material.

Great seat back protectors and just as described! I have a large dog who loves to go running in the great outdoors. The protectors keep my Subaru seat backs free from dog hair and other dirt he tracks into the vehicle.

It’s a beautiful, sturdy piece and a great accent for an aftermarket look. However, the o-ring is letting oil leak past with just 5,000 miles of use. Maybe the fit is better with other platforms. Car: 1993 Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo.

I bought this for my DSM but the fitment is way off. Oil leaked all over the engine valve cover and doesn’t seal right at all.

I bought this post green speed initiative, and I was excited to use launch control and flat foot shifting which shouldn’t be problematic from an emissions standpoint. Neither of these features are currently available for the end user without a professional tune.

Accesstuner (the software which is required to adjust the tune to add launch control and flat foot shifting) has been indefinitely shelved, and now, even if I have a pro tune, I can’t adjust my launch control RPM or other settings at the drag strip.

I understand the reasoning behind the green speed initiative, and, while disappointing, I don’t have any issues with Cobb removing features which are designed to circumnavigate emissions regulations.

I also understand why Accesstuner requires the user to take a class to understand the tuning process prior to downloading the software. My problem is with the fact that, among other things, launch control and flat foot shifting are advertised as “Subaru Specific Features,” but there is no explanation that these features require Accesstuner (which is unavailable) to access.

There have been no updates from Cobb about when Accesstuner might become available, so until it’s available, buyer beware. In order to access many of the “Subaru Specific Features,” you’ll need to either wait an unknown period of time to download Accesstuner or pay for a professional tune.

I like the Accessport. It’s probably the most convenient tuning software that I’ve ever used, and it’s great for monitoring, logging, and checking DTCs. I just wish that I had known that I’d be waiting over a month (or more) to be able to use all of the advertised features.

This review is for the 2020 WRX 93 octane standard wastegate tune. This tune provided a huge every day drivability improvement on my 2020 WRX. Improvements included: Greatly reduced rev hang and a much more linear throttle response.

I like that it’s much easier to take off from a stop since the throttle is not so touchy, there is no more big surge when pulling away from a stop due to the non linear throttle response, and the first to second gear shift doesn’t require a big delay to prevent a choppy shift.

In short, I think this product is outstanding and I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s hard to believe that the Cobb tune is such a huge improvement over the Subaru OEM tune. And as a bonus, the car even makes a little more power and torque.

I took 1 star off for the quality of the product because the software could be easier to use. For example, it’s hard to figure out what the different wastegate tunes are for. It’s also very confusing that the first time you hook the device up to the computer, there are no maps available unless the device has been paired to a car.

There is a sticker on the device that says the maps were installed at the factory and yet when you hook the device up to the computer the computer software says there are no maps if the device has not been paired with a car.

I see this kind of thing all the time in software engineering – it makes complete sense to the subject matter experts who are testing and makes no sense to anyone else.

I’ll start off by reviewing the accessport itself. Software is A+ for what it is. Simple UI and functional. Very fast and easy to upload maps, connect to the computer and move files, monitor gauges, etc.

I do wish there was Linux support, but I used a VM to get around that. But for a 2022 hand user device, the graphics and resolution could probably be better. The hardware is another thing I have somewhat of an issue with.

The device is a good form factor but very flimsy. Cellphones for half the price are made with stronger more durable materials. It’s very light and pretty much all plastic. I scraped the area around the bottom port trying to take the cover off right away.

Also, the OBD connector, well the side that connects to the accessport has a poor disconnect mechanism. It disconnects by pressing a button and pulling the cord but the button is not tactile at all and feels like its getting less and less pressable with each disconnect.

I hope some of these issues will be resolved, as this is a 700 dollar device. Costs as much as some flagship phones. Now onto the tune. Let me preface by saying I have a 2020 STI and I know for a fact thats its much faster stock than older STIs.

I’ve raced plenty of them and plenty of other cars. I think the problem is Cobb tuned the 19+ STIs very similarly to the 15-18 STIs which I think is a mistake. Overall the car was probably slightly faster but it felt slower below 4k.

Everyone says its cause of the throttle mapping but I tested this and getting into throttle around 3k the car felt slower and less responsive than stock. The SI drive modes also seemed flipped as sport was less responsive than intelligent.

Who cares if throttle mapping is fixed, the car should not “feel” slower. Driving is about enjoyment not just being faster. This is an issue I had with the Stage 1 93 Oct. I would not buy this device if that’s all I had gotten out of it.

Now, I did get e-tuned by BrenTuning and the car feels like a better version of stock which is exactly what I wanted. BrenTuning was also one of the few tuners that commented on the different engine in the 19+ STIs and knew that it could be tuned with more power.

It’s definitely faster and feels faster now. This is where the accessport software and function shines. It was so easy to log data and exchange data and maps with the tuner and they were able to give me a great tune that I could upload to my car with ease.

Cobb definitely has a built a great device which I recommend getting overall because it enables you to unlock the true potentials of the car. I spent around 1000 total for the accessport and the e-tune and I’d say if you’re goal is to get the best version of your car, you should definitely pull the trigger.

For reference, I raced 3 Type Rs stock and pulled on them through 3rd gear, and fell back by 4th after which they’d pull ahead by a car and slightly keep pulling away. On the e-tune, I’m slightly faster than a stock Type R (stayed ahead by half a car to a car all the way to top of 5th), which I think is fantastic for an STI and all the other things it can do.

I plan on getting the redline intake next year as well, as I’ve read great things about it. Hope this was helpful to Cobb and future customers.

Hardware is fine, once I got all of it. Hefty (!) and well-made. Everything fits. Mechanism works nicely when new. The key falls out of the lock at the slightest provocation – that could be better. Instructions printed with photos of a black car, so all detail in the shadows is lost.

A few points: 1) A detail of the fascia clips on the side seams would be helpful. 2) The wiring harness plug is hidden fairly high against the wheel well, hard to see and reach. Persist. 3) The cutout in the fascia can be made leaving about 2″ intact on the entire forward edge and the hole needs to be a little further aft at the hitch block.

The handholes can be shaped to just suit your hands, reducing the open area and leaving the fascia stronger. A little trimming around the chain eyes and the fixture hole was needed. 4) The foam part supports the “step” surface of the fascia, and if you have access to a bandsaw it’s easy to just trim 1/4″ of the foam away from the rear face and leave the part usable.

I ultimately succeeded in installing the hitch, and it seems to work well; but there were a few quality control issues and a few design issues for my 2018 Outback that made the process more frustrating than it needed to be.

Missing from my packaging were two locking washers and two bolts of proper length. Sure, I could have procured others from a store or called up Stealth to have them send replacements, but was I really going to leave the back half of the car torn apart while I waited for them to ship replacement parts? So I made do with spare parts I had sitting around and got it installed.

It seems to work well and in fact performed well during its first heavy pull of a large trailer. But if I had to guess I would suspect that some things (quality control?) have suffered in the original company’s acquisition by a larger company.

I think I would still buy again because I like the design of the hitch; but I wasn’t totally satisfied with my purchase, either.

The hardware is all first rate. Items were well packaged and boxed and wrapped in an orderly fashion. The instructions were adequate. There’s room for improvement with respect to the images. Images looked to have been captured using a cell phone camera and then marked up with MS Paint program to overlay text and arrows.

The clarity (not enough contrast) made some images hard to tell what angle they were shot from and I was guessing a bit what I was looking at. One early on instruction indicated screws where only plastic fastener were present (this was on the fascia along the inside of the wheel well.

I jacked up the car and removed the wheel so I could poke my head underneath enough to be sure I wasn’t overlooking something. The amount of fascia I had to remove was what was minimally required to have access to the hitching mechanism.

An extra 1. 5″ on the driver’s side would have given more berth for a hand to reach up and work the latch (I have medium size paws). The latch mechanism itself is spring loaded and probably not something grandma is going to be able to operate; the knob has to be turned all the way to release/lock and requires me to be on my back partially underneath the rear bumper; it’s a bit awkward (I expect I’ll gain some facility with practice).

Overall, I love the end result. no visible hitch. I go what I was after. The text of the instructions are clear (again, the images not as much). I know a lot of time goes into writing good installation instructions and overall a very good job was done.

Folks claiming to have done this under two hours. I’ve a message for you, quit your day job and go work for a trailer-hitch shop; you missed your calling. It took me several hours. If I was installing another one this weekend I could do it in half the time but now way under two hours.

I purchased this complete brake kit in early July. When it arrived in three separate shipments (1 from warehouse, 2 drop shipped from manufacturer) I unpacked it to begin installation. That’s where the caliper problems began.

Upon initial inspection the rear calipers were identical. I had been supplied with two left side rear calipers. The bleeder valve holes on the rear calipers had been redrilled then tapped only near the very bottom, too deeply for the threads to hold any bleeder valve more than loosely finger tight.

Both rear and front calipers had media blast surface mottling on the entire banjo fitting and copper seal washer mating surface instead of a flat smooth mating surface. That problem was compounded by the powder coating straying onto the mating surfaces as well.

Having access to a good machine shop at work allowed me to fix these problems (except the missing right side rear caliper) but if you don’t have access you will spend a lot to get the calipers into a usable condition and this particular caliper set seems to be in very short supply currently.

This is the second vehicle I have installed the PowerStop rotors and pads on, and those parts are fantastic for a street cruiser. But the powder coated calipers are NOT a quality product and I couldn’t recommend them to an enemy.

The title says it all. If you’ve never done brakes before and you’re thinking about it, that means you have the balls to do it. So do it. It really isn’t complicated – there are more than a few videos on YouTube and lots of reviews actually give instructions too.

I won’t bore you with that stuff. The brakes do everything they say they do. I replaced my front brakes with this company first and they were excellent. So when it was time for the back there was no shopping no looking no review reading just went back to the same company and ordered the same set for the back.

Here’s a tip or two: After the tire is off really look at everything 1st – take pictures. Specifically, •Take a picture of the bolt/s and where they go before you take them off. •Take a picture of the brake pads and how they fit into the bracket that bolts to the caliper before you take that assembly apart.

•Take a picture of the little metal clips seated in the bracket that holds the pads before you remove them, then putting the new ones back in will be much easier. > you’ll need a longer then normal breaking bar to loosen the caliper bolts/nuts.

Unless you’re Hercules 🙂 > you’ll need a 2lb short-handle sledge hammer – & the cojones to use it. >make sure you have a C clamp (or other) to push the piston all the way back into the caliper. It needs to be fully open to get it over the thickness of new pads.

>>OPEN THE LID TO THE BREAK FLUID Reservoir under the hood. BEFORE using the clamp!!!!! Then turn the clamp SLOWLY- allowing time for the fluid to move back through the break line as you push the piston back into the housing.

>Do not let the caliper dangle (hang) by the break line. Secure it up so there’s no chance of falling or getting in the way of the rest of the repair. >>”Seating” the new Disc: You do Not need to put the tire back on to tighten the lugs to “seat” the new Disc.

Just use 3 lugs, spaced – tighten them down firmly to “Seat” the disc on the hub – then reassemble the pads and caliper – Then loosen/remove the lugs, install tire retighten :0) > oh there is a product you can buy so 60-80,000 miles later you can get that disc back off with far less hammering.

**for me all the extra time was spent using the sledgehammer and cleaning everything with a grinder with the wire brush attachment. (I’m a bit ocd) If the discs came off easily and no cleaning maybe 1.

5/2 hours. But including getting all your tools ready, jacking your truck up/jack stands then putting all your stuff away – it’s def an afternoon kind-a thing. I own a floor jack & stands, a 175psi compressor- I saved time with the lugs off/on & a good jack speeds things up too.

Cleaning the rust and grim with a grinder also sped things up a bit. All of this being done by hand(?) you’ll definitely need 4/5 hours.

Impressed with the overall quality of the product. Pieces were package well and all parts labeled clearly. Pieces/parts fit perfectly on my 2018 Wrangler JK. I was quoted over 500. 00 dollars from a reputable service center to have factory brakes installed back on the Jeep, but after doing a little research on looking for something better, then the factory style brakes to slow down the 35×12.

5 tires I found this product. Only issue I had was trying to find a road to do the break in of the ceramic shoes on the rotors. Once that was complete and the brake fluid was completely drained and replaced with new fluid, you could tell the difference right away from the factory shoes.

Stopping is so much more graceful. I fully recommend this product to anyone considering on changing out their factory rotors and shoes. Overall install was a little over 2 hours, and that was due to the previous tire shop putting my lugs on so tight it took two people with a breaker bar to loosen the wheels.

It seemed to add a decent amount of performance, but the sound change was not good. It made this really loud sucking sound as the turbo was drawing air through the intake. It wasn’t a cool sound. A couple people rode in my car and their first question was wow what’s wrong with your car.

Returned it.

Awesome product, build quality and fitment was great, the airbox also does a really good job of separating the intake from the heat of the engine. Shipment was also very fast! received the product in 2 business days from ordering.
