20 Best Aftershave Balm For Men (2022 Updated)

I saw another review that said it is an old kind like 20 years ago and now it is a bigger bottle. Yes, it was. I remember this bottle that I had over 20 years ago was 75ml, thin bottle, that looked good to me.

Even if it is said for men but my opinion it can use for women too. After the first bottle had gone, I tried to buy the same one but it was hard in my hometown in the past. From 10 years ago until now, it is so easy to buy and I’m a loyal fan.

Every time I wear this, everyone is like it and asks me what kind, which brand. And it always lasts 3-4 days at least on my jacket.

When I met it many years ago, I found it charming, citric, a bit spicy, marine, extremely masculine and it attracted the attention, especially of women, today that I have it again I think it is garbage, hahaha of course not! It has stood the test of time, after more than 10 years of knowing it, I still love it and it can’t be missing in my collection.

I always use it for casual occasions, if you can outdoors and day even better, with a white shirt and a couple of open buttons, 5-6 sprays and you will be breaking it hard literally. For everyday or office use I recommend moderating the sprays, in my experience it projects 3 meters ahead, if you get on an elevator forget it!.

This is such a unique scent in this world of complex scents. There are four components in this fragrance that make this a great office or a special event scent. It’s a woody floral musk scent. The notes of papyrus, amber, darjeeling tea and bergamot propel this cologne into a legendary status.

This the type of scent is one that says masculine. I can envision a white shirt and tie at a casual special event. Simplicity in a bottle ! What can I say about this fragrance, is fresh and clean scent very different to Dylan Blue, is almost a versatile an all seasons scent to me, but fragantica considered this a spring and summer scent.

To my nose scent the bergamot, lemon, tonka bean and neroli really well balanced and blended. I can’t wait to wear this during spring and summer season. I always associate this fragrance with this pleasant, refreshing feeling of freshness when you walk through a spray of water in hot weather.

It envelops and refreshes in a surprising, penetrating and carefree way. That’s why it’s a perfect summer scent for me. If I apply it at warm or hot temperatures, I immediately feel a very attractive and cool freshness.

It is a must have especially for beginners in their fragrance journey !.

I bought this fragrance a few years back, but I still have the bottle. It’s pretty cheap, and justly so. The fragrance opens as your typical aquatic, slightly saltier than others, though. It dries down well, matures into a slightly muskier aquatic in my opinion.

I apply 4 sprays: 2 chest, 1 on top of my right hand, one on my left wrist. The longevity is just a 6 out of 10 for me. It does become a skin scent rather quickly, and projection is a similar 5 out of 10 for me.

Projects well for the first half hour, then almost disappears after this time period. The scent itself I would rate a 7 out of 10. Overall, I give VPH a 7. This fragrance could have been so much better with improvements on longevity and projection, but aquatics do seem to be plagued by this issue.

Bvlgari Aqva pour homme does work better on my skin, and seems to be, from what I’ve read in the fragrance community, a much better aquatic. I wouldn’t really recommend this to someone looking for a quality cheap freshie.

I would sooner reach for Voyage by Nautica, a notoriously cheap but high performing, great selling fragrance. I hope this help!.

This is a definite must have! It is the perfect scent. Coming from a wife, this cologne literally changes my mood. I can be a grumpy, pregnant brat, and he sprays this on after his shower, and all of a sudden I’m ready to clean the house and do all the wifey things for my hard working, amazing smelling husband! It’s musky without being too heavy, and he can wear it everyday, all year without getting tired of it! Definitely recommend, and definitely would suggest the large bottle because it very well could be magical;).

My favorite aftershave, and also the most expensive on my list of products. This product has a great fragrance and a good viscosity when applied to the face. It smells good when applying and it feels good as you apply it.

You get an instant invigorating sense immediately after a thorough application. I do recommend it, but I will tell you the price is up there.

Obsesssion. It smells musky and spicy and mature and refined. And overall I quite like the smell. But it’s not for me. Scent’s have a sort of personality to them and right now I don’t feel like I can pull off the ‘mature and mysterious’ smell.

it’s definitely for an older person than myself but enjoy the warmth of the opening and the ambery dry down.

Ladies. AND men, this stuff is the holy grail. And, it’s cheap! I have always struggled with itchy legs after shaving and the result is I itch my skin off or I get endless razor burn. This post shave balm works miracles on my legs.

Stumbled on this when grabbing more Method Men body wash. Gave this and the face lotion a try. Here are my thoughts: Pros – makes my face feel clean with no residue, doesn’t leave my combination skin dry nor oily in areas, value is fantastic compared to much more expensive face washes I have tried.

Cons – overpowering fragrance in my opinion. Not really something that should be added to a face wash due to potential negative reactions and this one is strong. Very liquid – falls out of the bottle without any squeezing, meaning it can be a little on the messy side and can use too much if you’re not careful.

Overall, I like it and at the price point I will continue using it. Goes well with the lotion and I haven’t had any breakouts so far which is great for me due to my acne-prone skin.

I would like to say that the Method Company does an excellent job of packing my Method goods for shipping; they were packaged exceptionally well and presented in such a way that they were like receiving a gift, because the items were first double boxed (to prevent crushing) and second, they were packaged as if gift wrapped-making the whole experience exceptional and unexpected.

As to the quality of the product, the Method Men Post Shave Balm is highly effective, not too thick or too thin; furthermore, the bottom allows precise application through a control flap/bladder, which dispenses precise amounts of the balm at any given time and without spillage.

I gave this to my husband who is very picky about the products he uses on his body. He actually likes it and I do too. The scent is nice/masculine but not overpowering. It does not interfere with the smell of his cologne (which would be a deal breaker).

I generally like Gucci fragrances. I am very picky about what I wear as I find some scents to be overpowering and tend to leave me with a headache. I enjoy clean and fresh smells. Nothing musky or overly “manly” I guess is the right term.

This is hard to find. Product delivered as described and well packaged. I knocked off a star because it has become a lot more expensive

This has to be the best men’s aftershave balm in the world. The scent is rich but not overpowering, and it makes your skin feel terrific. It’s my favorite.

This stuff is the best! makes skin smooth and feels great. Also, ultra moisturizing great for people who have dry skin. Does anyone know what this smells like? It has a particular smell, and I can’t place my finger on what it smells like.

I enjoy Estée Lauder packaging and this product is no exception. The blue container is so lovely with the latch that keeps the product in place. It is sturdy and beautiful. The mirror is a mini size, but great if you just need to do a quick check for the eye area.

The brush in my opinion is just useless for me. The brush is a good quality for the bristles, but the handle is too short to be useful for me. I have a challenge griping smaller handle so I throw the brush in my drawer.

If you don’t have issues, the brush is handy for a quick update or a day to night look. The formula of the eyeshadows are so creamy and pigmented. There is no kick back in the pan and no fall out on the eyes.

The colors in this never fail. They are beautiful and last for hours and hours. The packaging is great, there is a mirror in it and it opens snd closes easily. I would buy more of these without question.

I’ve used the HUGO Boss After Shave Balm for more than a dozen years. Just a little goes on smoothly, protecting my skin and providing a light scent that women seem to like. That’s why I’ll keep using this product as long as it’s available! ;-).

I am an avid wet-shaver and a perfume collector. I own a Creed Aventus perfume among many other Creed perfumes and hundreds of shaving products including aftershaves. So, the Aventus aftershave balm is a high quality product and the scent is a true reflection of the perfume.

It projects well and it has a good longevity. I prefer to apply the balm when I am ready to wear my Creed Aventus perfume. It really enhances the performance of the perfume. Many people would not even consider spending $100 on a shaving balm.

Creed, Green Irish Tweed. emulsion for $105. 00 is well worth the price. It is classic Creed. The after shave 75 mi 2. 6 Fl Oz is a not only a wonderful experience but also a nice hand lotion. The initial waif is excerberant.

I’ll purchase this Creed again.

Love this product. Great for my combo skin. My skin is sensitive and I am able to use this daily, however I did get it too close to my eye and it swelled up a bit. If using this product keep away from eyes.

I would definietly recommend this product paired with the Embryolisse moisturizer on top.
