20 Best Bluetooth Speakers For Helmet (2022 Updated)

This helmet fits me as an adult! I saw it in store, liked the simplicity of it, and decided to try it on. It plays music from my iPhone, Apple Watch series 7, and iPad mini. The only downside to the helmet is the volume can’t be controlled from the helmet.

It can only be controlled from the device playing the music (a downside while riding and wearing it). The battery life has lasted multiple hours of play on just 1 charge. You will have to be careful with the charge cord, as well, because it’s very small and could break if yanked on wrong.

I am going to have to purchase several of these helmets because my kids constantly want to borrow it from me.

Great helmet! Fits my son well. He says it’s comfortable and never complains about wearing it. My son had another helmet like this and had a minor bike crash while wearing it. It really protected his head.

So we bought another one!.

This helmet is very cute for a younger girl! My daughter loves it! The fit is ok! Can only adjust by the strap. Should come with extra foam for a better fit! This helmet was pricey!

Can’t afford a decent Bluetooth system? This is a cheap alternative. Sound is great and plenty loud enough if you mount them in the right spot. Plenty of attachment options, you don’t need the foam spacer like so many try to use.

they are as flat as a good sounding speaker can get. There is a lot of length so they can wrap around the biggest head but the wires are very thin, for the price i expect somthing more durable. I only wish they had a pause button.

If you have your phone in an inaccessible area then you have to unplug when you want to hear someone which is a pain.

Stay away from all UCLEAR products period. Sound is lousy, quality is lousy and company does not stand behind their warranty. I went through 5 pairs of these inferior speaker(that supposedly have a two year warranty) and none ever lasted more than 3 months.

I’ve seen the good reviews by others but I promise you those guys have to be using their units 2-3 times a month. If you’re a RIDER and you use the unit everyday, you’ll get three months out of them; tops.

And I’m not even speaking to as if you’re using the unit for any real length of time. I used mine 5 days a week, basically my commute to and from work which is about 20 minutes each way. 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening and every one of them failed, 5 TIMES! Speakers that are supposed to have a 2 year warranty never lasted into a 4th month.

Then the company will at this point stop responding to your emails leaving you with the option to buy more yourself, which would be foolish as you know they will only fail again. I chose another option.

Cut my losses and inform as many people as I could about this shady company and their mediocre products, that is why I have written this lengthy review. I hope you all can sense my passion by the tone and length of this review.

It was a $300 lesson I had to learn butI learned it, the hard way and hopefully it will help most of you. Do yourself a favor and go with Cardo. There is no comparison in regards to sound or quality.

I’ve been rolling with them for over a year now and not one issue.

Reviewing speakers is highly subjective. What one person considers loud, another one does not,etc. so here it goes. I have never been happy with the speakers that came with the Schuberth SRC-Pro communication system.

I found them lacking bass and with low volume. My Schuberth helmet is modular but rather quiet and I ride a BMW 1200RT which has an electric windshield that gives you excellent wind protection. In spite of this, the OEM speakers did not perform well.

Installing the UCLEAR speakers was straight forward. Unplug the OEM speakers and install the UCLEAR speakers. The UCLEAR are a major improvement. The bass is present but not overwhelming. The volume is definitely louder than the OEM speakers.

Why the OEM speakers are so weak is beyond me. I’m just glad I found this economical fix.

Having bought new helmet with nice cut outs for earphones I decided to buy the Sena smh5. It’s well packaged and looks good. The speakers fitted perfectly and the rest of the assembly was straight forward.

The switch and dial are easier than expected to operate with a glove hand! It does everything most would need but I have niggles. The main issue is the sound from the speakers which is not very good , have it turned low it’s inaudible and turn it up and it turns to mush and is very tinny, there is a very annoying clicking sound when it’s changing between phone and music.

I’ve spoken to Sena and done an update but it’s no better. Secondly, if you make a phone call whilst listening to music I have yet to discover the magic button press to activate the music again. Tonight after a phone call, I rode home in silence for 20 minutes only to pull into the garage and the music came on again ! All in all its not a bad set but I wouldn’t say great or worth the money, but I have no experience of any others.

All though alot cheaper than the kit intended for my particular helmet.

I actually bought these to fit in my summer helmet. I recently bought a new Sena Bluetooth unit for my main helmet as replacement for the old one I passed onto my son. I didn’t want to buy a complete unit for each helmet especially as I have programed it up for my phone and bike.

Now I just clip the main unit on whatever helmet I’m wearing. You get two different microphones with the main unit a boom and a stick on one so all I needed was the speakers and wiring loom which comes in this set.

The sound is slightly different from helmet to helmet but I expected that as because of the cavities inside of them.

Everything you need comes in the box, including comprehensive instructions. Fitting took about 20 minutes, but most of that was playing around with the lining of the helmet to find the best place for cables and the microphone.

On the move the sound quality really isn’t that bad, music is lacking bass but for under 100 whose complaining! Voice instructions for Sat Nav are really clear and even phone call quality is really good.

I am mega impressed.

Great performance and battery life The Chips 3. 0 are a great addition to my ski gear. The fit is good in my Pret Refuge X helmet, which has ear pad pockets that are slightly bigger than the Chips and allow some movement, but the Chips are easy to re-adjust if they shift out of place in between wears.

The Chips do not add much thickness to the ear pads and do not affect helmet comfort. The audio quality is good. The sound is balanced and loud enough to hear clearly even on windy runs. The most pleasant surprises with this product are the microphone quality and the battery life.

I am currently going on 5 ski days without a charge, and the battery life announced at startup is still “high. ” Even in windy conditions, the microphone still picks up instructions to Siri, and I haven’t had issues being understood on phone calls.

I bought the Outdoor Tech Chips 3. 0 Wireless Helmet Speakers and I can confidently say that they sound awesome. Once you memorize the simple controls (tap once on one ear for volume down, tap twice for volume up, etc.

) these suckers are really easy to use. The only negative is that it is a little annoying to have to pull one of the speakers out of the ear pocket in my helmet to connect the USB wire to charge them every evening after use.

There has to be a better way. maybe a wire that comes from one of the speakers that can be stored right under the zipper in the helmet ear pocket, alleviating the need for the speaker removal. Just sayin’.

Overall great item and I highly recommend. And, on MooseJaw the price was the lowest I could find.

If you don’t have helmet headphones THESE ARE THE ONES!!!! If you have helmet headphones and they’re NOT these or you’re still using air pods. throw them away and buy these!!! I was out in CO for a week and on two charges I hit Snowmass, Vail, Breck, Keystone, Copper, BC, Aspen, Highlands, Buttermilk, and back to Snowmass.

These are literally the best headphones and they give me situational awareness on the mountain. These are absolutely fantastic and the buttons couldn’t be easier to use. I HIGHLY recommend these headphones.

Fit Smith helmets well, easy to install, buttons work though ear pads. Audio quality is a lot less than ideal: I have free earbuds that sound better than these and volume needs to be cranked to hear anything clearly (I’m 30 and not hearing impaired).

Battery charger is not accessible though the helmet so they have to be removed to charge, which is a pain. Right v left is not easily distinguished on the speakers but heavily leaned on for explaining functionality.

TL:DR, if you enjoyed Hit Clips from the 90s, you’ll really love this new $120 bluetooth model. If you’ve listened to any portable audio since then, prepare for disappointment.

It’s great to have ambient sound o. The slopes so I can still here my surroundings and friends. It’s also really nice that my friends can’t hear my music so I’m not bothering anyone on the lift with them.

I also appreciate that the wired headphones don’t need to be charged so they just live in my helmet. Set it and forget it. Only gripe is some days they put a little extra pressure on my ear causing a bit of fatigue and irritation.

Maybe some day they will design them to be thinner. I also.

Perfect for my ski helmet! The chips fit into the ear pads, no more hassling with buds. The audio controls are so easy and convenient. I have an older, non-streaming iPod nano model (gen 6), and I assumed the controls wouldn’t work with it, but they do! This makes enjoying music and still being able to interact with other so easy and convenient.

This was way beyond what I expected when I made the purchase.

I bought my Boom3 in November of 2020 and it’s still setting the right vibes a year and a half later. I’ve taken it on vacation, to work, on a boat, and basically everywhere in between. It’s survived being in a busy kitchen, falling off counters, sliding into sinks, and getting lost in dusty corners.

It definitely looks more beat up now than when i first got it, but it wears those scuff marks proudly and continues to play quality music to this day. My friends, coworkers, and family are always surprised at how loud my speaker can get without becoming terribly static-y or losing it’s playing quality.

I’ve never had to turn it up to max volume indoors since it’s able to fill a room at a comfortable level at less than or at half Volume! The only thing I will say is that the USB charging port is getting finnicky where I have to make sure the light is blinking before leaving it to charge.

I used to be able to plug in and leave it without double checking but now I’ve got to make sure the USB is in all the way before leaving. Honestly, this only takes a few extra seconds out if my day and my speaker still provides hours of good music and great memories.

It’s hard to find quality technology that isn’t made to break these days, but this speaker really defied my expectations and continues to do it’s job well.

This is my 3rd pair of Ultimate Ear wireless bluetooth speakers in the last couple weeks. I first tried a pair of Wonderboom 2’s. They had problems staying connected. So I returned them for another pair of Wonderboom 2’s (hoping it was a problem with one of the speakers I purchased).

I had the same problem. So I bought these Boom 3’s (two of them) and was pleased that the Party Up feature can keep them paired together after powering off and back on. However, with one speaker about ten feet from my laptop it crackles now and then.

I have very few bluetooth devices and my nearest neighbor is over one hundred feet from my house (I cannot even see their wifi network). I live alone, so I don’t have roommates or family with other phones or bluetooth devices.

My point: this cannot be interference in any reasonable sense. I’ll almost certainly return these after another day or two just to see how things progress. I want to love them. They sound really good.

I also sense that the audio is not quite in sync between the two speakers. It’s super subtle and hard to tell, but I have a trained ear for such things and when I first started music with the two speakers playing I was like.

“is the sound in sync??” With the Wonderboom 2’s I didn’t have this question at all. It was impossible to tell if one or two speakers were playing. I have the speakers in mono mode, not stereo, so the audio should be identical.

As many people reported already, the Party Up feature doesn’t always work. It’s finicky. Once I got it to work, it worked reliably until now. I’ll see how it goes.

I have owned the Boom 2 for a few years and provided me with enjoyment and portability particularly during travel. I upgraded to the Boom 3 after hearing a demonstration of it and the new features it offered.

In particular, it has a much improved base sound and a basic equaliser that does provide the owner to adjust the sound according to their preferences. However, from the moment you open the box and for the first time touch the products outside material, you feel the quality of the finished product.

Unlike the Boom 2 volume control buttons that embraced the outside of the unit, the volume control buttons on the Boom 3 interface and intergrate with the design of the products surface. One of the new features was waterproofing.

To test this feature, i put it into my bath and it was floating and playing my music. This feature has to appeal the younger generation that love the outdoors as their social placef Whilst the Boom 3 is rated at 15 hours music time, the time you may receive will depend on the volume levels used playing music.

As o play music loud, i am getting just over 12 hours continuous play. The recharge on a flat battery is about 4 hours. The charger supplied is a wireless base. The Boom 3 app is easy to use. You control the turning on and off with the app as well as the devices equalisers The app transfers control of the volume to the device that is connected to the Boom 3.

You can set up your playlist between your device and the Boom 3 but i have not yet set this up. Bluetooth technology is great. My mobile, table and TV are all different brands and the Boom 3 connects without any issues.

The Boom 3 is reasonably priced for the technology purchased and if you are looking at quality portable sound, i would recommend this device.

I had a Sena SF4 on my previous helmet and was very pleased, with the cost and functionality of the unit. After obtaining another helmet, I thought I’d splurge for the best of the best, and try the 50S HK, as it was advertised with amazing sound and seamless features.

After installing, and using it on a 800km trip, I can safely say it is actually more difficult to use, and sounds poorer than the SF4. At over twice the cost. Sure, it hooks up nice with the app, and comes with a fancy box and lots of goodies.

But for around $600, I’d sooner get a pair of AirPods and be better off for sound quality. It’s too quiet, speakers are no better than the standard HD ones, and I find the toggle dial hard to operate with bulkier gloves.

If I were to save any of you some money, don’t fall for the Harmon Kardon BS, it’s no better. Grab a regular 50S, or a lower model and get the same performance. Not a bad unit overall when we’re looking at it’s intended job, comms are always good, but it’s the cost and underpromised quality that leaves me with a bad taste in my ears.

Buyer, be aware: The unit has a much lower sound volume than its predecessors. It is virtually useless above 40mph. I’ve been a Sena user since SMH-10, but I am returning this to Revzilla, and will swtich to Cardo.

What a joke. I can’t believe Sena is silent about this. They surely know. Revzilla: you will start getting these back in mass. This form won’t let me paste a link, but if you google “Sena 50s volume too low”, you’ll come across a major thread on Sena Community forum, and a bunch more.

Sena is aware, I have no doubt. What a joke.

This is a great little speaker but let’s get some “problems” out of the way first. First off is arguably the most important, the sound. It’s got a bit of feedback that can be heard at low volume so it doesn’t sound as clear as it could be when doing things like relaxing to some nice quiet acoustic stuff.

There is some lack of bass and has a very noticeable amount (at least to me) of bass loss at high volume. It also rattles when pushing a ton of bass. And lastly the little pin for the pivot point of the carabiner likes to wiggle its way out a couple millimeters.

Now one minor nit pick is when I double click the middle button like the instructions say, it doesn’t skip songs it just does nothing. But after reading that please don’t think that I don’t like it. This thing is awesome! It’s beautifully designed and I literally find myself looking at it a lot.

I love the metal ring going around the whole speaker, it’s gorgeous! Although a little low on bass for my taste (and I’m not much of a bass junkie) , the sound still comes through pretty clear and at a good volume.

I’ve only had mine for a couple days but my cousin has one and has given it some serious abuse to which it’s help up to. I hope this little guy lasts me years. Great job, sounds nice, I’ve loved it!.

The only thing great about these ear buds is the sound quality ,the quality control failed miserably twice ,the first pair I bought I dropped one of the ear buds after 60 days and could not get it to work so I seen a sale on amazon and said,hey why not bought another set.

They seem to be working fine but again after 60 days I’m getting all kinds if interruptions of static then switching various tone settings by itself. So I upgraded the software for the buds as well as the latest update for my iphone and still the worst possible connectivity even when I have the phone in my hands ,then now I cannot use them because they refuse to be heard or work when I need to talk on the phone.

Talkback just quit working. I cannot believe that a company like JBL would put such trash on the market then stand behind this product. After twice purchasing this product JBL should grant me a free pair to make up for the money I wasted and still cannot use them at this time.

I am truly dissappointed. I CANNOT GIVE ANY STARS FOR THIS PRODUCT. THE SYSTEM FORCED ME TO GIVE A RATING BUT THIS PRODUCT DESERVES A 0 RATING.

So I’ve had these headphone for close to 2 years now. To begin there great sounding. The feel nice in the ear no discomfort. I love them. But. The life of there charge has changed. Which I knew would happen.

I put these to work daily lol. Literally. I wear them everyday avg about 6 hours a day. Never played at high levels. 40-50% volume. Now a charge last about an hour and a half before needing to be put back and charge again.

I wake up and open and close the case to charge them before work or recreational use. Otherwise they last about 45 mins. The sound is still great no problems at all except the battery life has changed significantly within the last 2 months.

Will need to invest into another pair. Great for calls everything.

This is the latest in a series of sound systems I have used over 50 years from Astraltune to Sony Walkman and shock-proof CD players to IPOD, bunch of different headphones and eventually the headphones that go in the helmet with a wire with way-too-small-for-my-mittens on-of switches.

This last transition had two goals (1) to get rid of the earphone wire so that the iPhone could get away from the cold and (2) control the volume and play/stop/rewind without having to take off my mittens.

From that perspective these are great. The thing pairs with my iPhone very nicely, the buttons are very intuitive and easy to get to, and as an extra bonus I don’t have to dig my phone out of my pocket to talk to Mr.

Spam Likely when I am on the slopes. One thing that could be better at least for my helmet is that the recharge wire pokes out of the headphone so to make sure it wont break I need to disconnect it and then take the thing out of the helmet to charge it.

It would be nice if there was a way to recharge the headphones without having to mess with that but that is not a big deal really. This is a long way from strapping the 3. 5lb Astraltune on my chest not to mention the earplugs and plus the sound quality is great! One piece of advice if you are new to this: Keep the volume down so that you can still hear the wind (and the snow boarders) but most importantly remember the bumps are not evenly spaced so don’t try to ski to the beat of the music.

Ski to the melody or the Cadence if you want to be fancy.

I work at a local ski resort near Ogden, UT. I am on my skis for 10 hours/day for 4 days/wk. Needed a new helmet with headphones that allowed for quick and easy connect to my phone for emergencies and the like.

Paired the headphones with a Wildhorn helmet. Love how easy it is to work the volume and connect buttons all while wearing my heaviest gloves. No more taking off my gloves to connect my ear buds. Clarity of sound is terrific and voice pickup when on a call is good.

At times I have folks that will ask me to speak louder but all in all, a great value with terrific sound and clarity. Battery life far exceeds the length of my work day.

I had high expectations for obtaining these as the other branded set failed and due to poor customer service I wasn’t going to simply replace with more of the same. I needed someone else’s product in hopes of getting back this very useful and fun experience – unfortunately these aren’t up to the task with my helmet’s ear flaps.

they are just too thick causing pressure on the ears to an unwearable uncomfortable level. There isn’t anything I can remove from the ear flap to make more room. Really read a lot of positive vibes on these so this was especially disappointing since my wait to try them was beyond the ‘returnable’ time – so expensive mistaken purchase.

The quality of the connecting ribbon cable and the storage case are very nice – perhaps you will have better luck with your helmet – just check immediately upon receipt that they will work with your helmet.

Had the previous model for years then tested this new version and its even better, plus it works with my prior one. Its solid, small, sounds amazing if you use the app EQ to tune it. These are simple, rugged, and sound really good.

Use them in both our full faces and moto helmets without issue.

Excellent sound and easy to install and operate. I was a little wary having read some reviews bashing sound quality but decided to purchase anyway as the price was hard to beat. Not sure what the “bashers” were whining about.

I replaced my old damaged amp pro with this less expensive model and it works perfectly with the upgraded speakers that originally came with the amp pro. I’m very happy with this purchase, Uclear makes a great product.

I was very excited when I first picked up this product especially since this was my first real bluetooth portable I had purchased, unfortunately it didn’t quite meet my expectations for a speaker that costed $60.

For $60 there are better options out there or if you just pay a little extra you definitely can get something way better and in my case louder if that is what you are looking for.

For what you get, this thing is 5-stars all the way. Need a waterproof bluetooth speaker for the shower or the front of your kayak? Got ya covered. How about mounting one on your bicycle handlebars? Yeah, no worries.

It sounds pretty good for a tiny little speaker and it gets plenty loud enough to hear on the water, on the bike, in the mountains or up a tree. I haven’t actually tested it up a tree, just making an assumption.

And the battery is simply amazing. I charge the shower speaker once a month, maybe, sometimes less. If you can find one, especially on clearance, you won’t be disappointed. unless you’re just expecting way too much out of too little, of course.

I literally bought this to hang up in the shower only. It barely gets wet if at all but is in a steamy shower daily and performs flawlessly after 1 year of everyday use. I also almost always listen at max volume.

Great battery life, durable, and the sound quality is perfect at this price point. I own a Bose wave radio and this Altec has great quality sound as well. You can also use it to charge your phone in a tight spot.

Worth it for sure. I could imagine this speaker would be perfect for a bicycle, golf cart, or kayak as it is set up for mounting anywhere. It is perfect and flawless after over a years time and used everyday.

I ordered this because like most people I haven’t owned a stereo in years and all my music is streamed through my phone or TV, and the sound quality is terrible, so a bluetooth speaker is a great alternative.

This arrived today, so obviously had to test it out on a wide range of music! I was looking for those horrible tinny highs, and fizzly bass, that so often ruin small speakers like this, especially when you raise the volume.

This was surprisingly amazing! To get an idea I tried Bohemian Rhapsody as just an all rounder, Duran Duran to test the ‘tinny’ aspect, and some Bob Marley to test the bass. I also tried Rage Against the Machine for just clarity and how it dealt with distortion.

I was impressed with every aspect, and its ability to noticeably use stereo actually surprised me. And this thing can get loud! Honestly I don’t know how loud it can go because I live in a flat and it went way beyond anything I expected.

The only very small, and I mean very small, downside, is that there is an almost imperceptible softening of the sound. I imagine it is due to the fact that its waterproofed, so you cant really complain.

And its not worth not buying it for. Def worth it in my opinion.

I bought two of these speakers, I was really happy with the sound and sleek design, I loved the convenience of the app and being able to use the speaker as an alarm clock, turn it on & off via my phone all through the app.

It has lots of EQ options and was so easy to pair! It is compact in size and very light in weight too. However I noticed with one of my speakers it was totally water resistant, water ran right off it but the other absorbed it and the sound distorted until it had blasted out 80% of the water through playing music.

I found this odd. Through its its great and fantastic features, the battery let it down which is why I swapped them for a new Sony Speaker (XB43). They go flat within 2 hours of playtime at full volume and then when put on charge you have to wait 15-20 minutes again to turn them on and play music again which would be extremely inconvenient at a party or out at a place like the beach or park where charging the speaker wouldn’t be an option unless you had a power bank with you.

I like my speakers to sound good and have a long or decent battery life, I understand that they don’t always live up to full battery life expectancy unless the volume is really low or the speaker is in Stamina but 2 hours is just not good at all.

I have not really had any portable speakers in the past that are worth mentioning, so getting this was a big upgrade for me. Before I purchased this speaker it was pretty much just me listening to things through my phone speakers.

Which worked for me fine for a while but I enjoy music and have people over for get-togethers. So having a speaker for being able to take outside and be able to hear was important to me. This speaker is surprising to me with the amount of sound it puts out.

The sound quality is very good. I also like how you can tweak the sound settings through the app, it is a cool feature to have. As far as this speaker is waterproof, I haven’t tested that part out yet.

I do use it outside frequently so it is nice to not have to worry about potentially getting water on it. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a portable speaker in this price range.

I looked at some other speakers but was impressed by the battery life on this one. It is pretty true to the battery life shown on the specs.

Got a Great price directly from Treblab, better than Amzon cyber Monday offer! I bought two basically for the price of one and they sound Amzing paired together. Can’t honestly say how they last but I’ve used them a gee times for a couple hours each time and their at 50%.

I’m Very satisfied with sound and so far battery life 👍👍.

I love the look and easy to use controls. I thought it would be louder with its almost 360 design, my shower speaker is about the same volume. As well as when talking on the phone through it, it’s not loud what so ever.

Over all, I love the power bank and battery life it really great. I love it.

Great product. One of those “must have” devices. Mostly using that as a backup charging device. But that is also a robust speaker: good sound quality, extremely powerful. Connectivity and controls: an intuitive control module, connecting with the stable range of more than 10 meters.

was bought to go with single channel sat nav, this is multi channel, so can also work with phone mp3 and other rider head sets, can be set to auto connect so once set up it does it all itself. quality construction.

a bit expensive but well worth it.

I enjoy this product. It’s cool to have on trips playing music instead of listening to noise. You can hear everything around you but the music is loud enough to hear without a problem. Also talking on the phone is easy and clear.

The other person has never asked what the noise was so I guess they do not hear anything. It looks good on the helmet as well.

Works great for talking to my wife while riding. Slim design, easy installation on helmets. Also works well with radar detector input via Sena SR10 and GPS voice directions via Bluetooth from iPhone.

All of this in one package and all functions can be used simultaneously.

I ordered these because the original speakers that came with my Sena had begun to cut in and out periodically. This was driving me crazy and I did’t want to listen to music or books on my long trip in just my right ear, so I ordered these.

Install was pretty straight forward, though it seemed like one of the speakers could use a longer cord. Upon installation, the sound was good (no cutting in and out losing stereo), and they were comfortable to wear for long rides.

I’m happy with the buy Helped make a long moto trip much more enjoyable. Maintained in the rain, too.

The original speakers that came with the Sena 20S were thick and bothered my ears. After purchasing a new mount for the 20S EVO that I now use, I realized that the speakers were much thinner. They felt very comfortable and sound great.

I ordered three more pairs for my other helmets. Good job SENA.

I really had high hopes for these as I was coming out of a good relationship with a POC Communicator Bug helmet with Beats by Dre. The POC worked great and sounded greater, sadly, the venting was not keeping up with climate change.

I’m sure the new ones are better but Backcountry. com had a good deal on a Smith helmet and I heard good things. Initially, I bought the wired Chips but between my phone crapping out and not being impressed by the wired setup I decided to try Bluetooth.

After all, the wired drivers had a decent sound. Living room setup? Check! Sounded great after charging. All the controls are. controlling. After about 6 uses on the hill the sound went south and the drivers had uneven volume.

Not cool. Back to wired.

Highly Recommend!!! I have these for 2 years now and just purchased 2 more sets for my kids. These work great. They use a sequence of taps on either the right or left ear to provide instructions to the chips like, turn on/off, volume, skip, answer the phone, Siri, etc.

With Siri or Google you can make calls without even getting your phone out. At first, they were not comfortable until I realized that I had not removed the circular foam within my helmet earpads which these are designed to fit in.

After that, never knew they were there. They can get load but remarkable, since they are not earbuds, you can still hear things around you. They hold a decent charge but I charge mine after two days of all-day use so that I will not be without them while skiing.

I’ve had mine for many years now, bought when I lived in Hawaii, it survived the beach and the rain, I even dunked it into a bucket of water while it was playing to prove to my Tongan friend it was submersible.

It’s survived Oklahoma heat and icy Oklahoma winters. Sounds great, looks great. I bought one as a gift for my roommate in Maui and like another reviewer stated from 4 years ago, it is difficult to pair two together.

but I only need one. If it ever stops working, I’ll buy another just like it. Best bluetooth speaker I’ve ever seen.

The speaker works well with my phone just like my Bluetooth headphones. Nothing different needs to be done to use it. It works fine with my phone. My computer sets up as before. the audio from YouTube is outstanding.

But, when it comes to Zoom. it fails. I made sure I selected it as the primary audio device. While I can hear others, they can’t hear me. Guess what I bought the speaker. Zoom. This is a disappointment.

I bought a pair of these after researching and watching user review videos. I needed them to sync as a pair, and unfortunately they are not as great at that feature as was indicated. I was able to sync them a couple of times successfully, but the process is very much hit and miss, and usually takes about half an hour of attempts before a successful pairing.

they also do not automatically re-connect when turned on to a previously connected device, as I was led to believe in some of the demos. Therefore, I cannot recommend these speakers because they take so long to try and use properly for the intended use, (pairing 2 together) that in order to just listen to music we got fed up and frustrated and used something else.

However, if I were only buying the one speaker, I would have given it a better rating because the sound quality is spectacular for the size.

The sound is fantastic, but it has the worlds WORST set of instructions- even on the website or app. For example, it say to check the battery level, press the volume and and the volume down indicators at the same time.

Then what? I have yet to have anything happen when I do that, is it supposed to announce it? Or is there some indicator somewhere? Beats me – and they sure don’t feel the need to tell you. The. Other problem, and it is a significant one, is that they are prone to stop charging after not a very long time.

I’ve had mine less than a year and it simply decided not the charge. I tried 3 different cables and 3 different chargers, but when I opened the app in a desperate attempt to see if there was something to fix his, suddenly it started charging BUT it isn’t charging over 90%, according to the app.

This is really unacceptable for a $150 speaker. I have contacted support; we’ll see if anything happens, but I’m not overly thrilled with this because of the charging issue. And in looking for a solution, I have seen I’m not the only one with this,problem.

It sounds great! To be honest, I don’t have anything else to compare it to besides laptop speakers, but it gets the job done. Looks and feels very luxurious! It’s quite solid, but has soft materials, like silicon (which is a little susceptible to collecting dust) and durable woven fabric.

There’s a little stiff, fabric hook for hanging and a snug flap to cover the charging port. It does have that new car/tech smell and its strong enough to last a few days, which might annoy some people.

And the charger is a fun fettucine shape. But my unit has a weird problem where it will not stay turned on for more than 5 seconds unless I plug it in first, even if it’s been charging all night. It’ll go back to “normal” after that and stay on, but that’s strange, right? I’ll be contacting the company about it and will update regarding the service.
