This is a very comprehensive book. It outlines how the 30 day diet works, why it works, and the health benefits associated with the Whole 30 Challenge. It also includes, recipes, shopping lists, and tips for making your Whole 30 month a success.

THIS IS NOT JUST A COOKBOOK! There are also W30 cookbooks available but this book is really to educate a person before they embark on this journey.

Finally an eating, lifestyle plan to ‘re-set’ the state of affairs most of us find ourselves in: falling prey to every kind of artificial additive, too much of everything with too many ingredients we know nothing about, and then feeling just plain awful and out of control.

This program introduced me to a 30 day no-nonsense plan to get rid of my cravings and “all the time hunger” that I was experiencing. Removing potentially harmful foods, those that just may be the cause of issues with body function, emotional dysfunction, and cravings for 30 full days was really eye opening.

Almost immediately I felt more clear-headed and more energetic. After 30 days, you may systematically add the foods you really want back into your life and see the difference that may make. Right now I am in week 3, already know there are certain foods, like sugar, that I will have a hard time inviting back into my life.

Difficult because its in EVERYTHING!!I Its refreshing that “losing weight” is not the central goal here. It may be a nice side effect, but on the WHole 30 you are told NOT to go near the scale; there are multitides of more important issues that WHole 30 helps with!.

A great re-set and detox diet with amazing results. I was tempted to purchase after reading positive reviews and I can agree it is true. A full 30 days without sugar, dairy, refined carbs, legumes sounds hard but you feel so good that it is all worth it.

Such a great reset and the recipes are great.

My daughter is high functioning autistic and unfortunately she is also type one diabetic. Our home has become a bit of a conflict zone, every day. I was sick of the arguments over food, so i was telling my martial arts tutor about it and he recomended this book to me.

The book has shown me how to deal with my daughters emotions from the inside, as well as the night time radio voice and listening for cues. This is just like a hostage situation, you have to know what they are thinking.

We love our daughter, however the conflict has took my wife and I to the edge, the book thought has helped to pull us back and to calm our daugher down. Thank you Chris Vos.

I feel empowered to be able to negotiate w unreasonable people after reading this book. I will use its concepts in work, social interactions and general life. I have never read a book that, through the application of its principles, has so directly And positively changed the tenor of my predicament.

It is an amazing book and everyone who is “negotiating” life should read it.

Ikigai was an accessible, easily digestible self-help book. While it was deeply informative about approaches to longevity and eastern approaches to healthy lifestyles, it did not actually delve very deeply into the idea of ikigai.

The philosophical background on ikigai was well-informed but the book was not a guide to finding your ikigai, as the blurb suggests. It was of more a study into Okinawan centenarians whose ikigai is just one factor that contributes to their longevity.

I would highly recommend this book for those wanting to learn about lifestyle approaches that promote health and longevity, not those seeking help in finding their ikigai.

I was recommended this book by a friend in a gardening group who always seems happy and relaxed. I listened to it on audio Books and then bought it as a present as it is so good !! the book is small and well designed.

It will be a nice addition to any library. I enjoyed it end to end. Full of good advice !.

I couldn’t wait to read this (hence the review the day after it was released and I do work a full time job) I think Colleen did a fantastic job of giving this story the ending it deserves and giving us readers some more of Lily and crew to hold on to.

I really didn’t think this book could live up to it ends with us, but that’s the thing it didn’t have to because it was a completely different story and style of writing.

I know this book is gonna be amazing just based on the last one and how great of an author she is. Im so excited and I hope these next 8 months go by quickly. Ive been hoping for this ever since I read the last few lines of the book.

Colleen Hoover absolutely NEVER disappoints. This book is an absolute amazing continuation of It Ends With Us. Lily and Atlas deserved to have there own book and I’m so happy they got it.

I’m kind of torn on this. I loved this series, especially the first two books! I’m very into true crime, so this series was a no brainer for me. Personally though, I felt like there were certain things in this book that were morally questionable for a Young Adult book.

I realize that there are characters in the book that do need to be held accountable for their actions. However, no matter what someone has done, I don’t think it’s morally correct to frame someone for such a serious crime they didn’t commit.

I realize I’m reading a series about murder, but the way it ended just didn’t sit right with me. Especially knowing that I was recommending this series to my teenagers, who are still pretty impressionable.

The writing and story really are quite great, I would just be a little more hesitant as to who I recommend the series to now.

For those of us that have been following Pip’s story, we lost a little piece of our soul when Pip lost a little piece of hers at the end of the sequel. She finds herself in a dangerous area that is the moral gray.

This is an especially scary place given that Pip is driven by all that is clear and definitive. Black or white. Yes or no. Right or wrong. In this captivating end to the trilogy, Pip goes on a quest to save herself from the murky gray.

As usual, her quest comes at what expense. Her family? Her friends? Ravi? Herself? Justice is what she seeks, and no, not Fairview justice where an innocent man’s name is crucified or a guilty monster walks free.

Pip puts it all on the line for true justice, and the stakes are higher than ever.

I really enjoyed this book. Although I only rated it 4 stars because it wasn’t as well written as the first and second books. This book was still very interesting it was also a fingernail biter! I would still recommend this book to my peers.

A very well written, easy to understand explanation of why we think and do things. Focused on the early development of the brain but relevant to understanding the operation of the mind at any age. Very worthwhile reading for anyone especially adults caring for or working with children.

Understanding why children do what they do and why they respond the way they do makes it easier to deal with their responses in a manner that benefits both child and carer. You are far more tolerant if you understand why things happen the way they do.

A great gift for any caring person; parents, grandparents, teachers, carers, anyone just wanting to learn more about how our brains operate and how to respond to behavioural challenges.

Quite a short book, but really the science behind it is fascinating. The strategies and scripts are fantastic and the bits you can show your kids are very well made. I think it’s a tool. Applying the principles will definitely improve your relationship with your kids and how they relate to you.

This book is better than stunning! I do like Sue Monk Kidd’s writing anyway, but this time she has gone beyond. a woman of faith like me can be challenged when someone has a story about a young man called Jesus, and a young woman who becomes his wife.

However, ever though I knew what could and would happen the story was compelling and real and I absolutely loved it.

I love to watch Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network. I think she has lots of style. I bought the cookbook because I was trying to finish the set of Barefoot Contessa Cookbooks that I have, the first one being given to me by my husband for my birthday a few years ago.

It’s a great book, and I got it at a great bargain. I have cooked several things out of it already. In this book, Back to Basics, there are some very simple recipes that even us amateur cooks can prepare.

I have not been disappointed in any of the recipes in this book. I have made almost the entire book. All her recipes have been tested until right. I have now purchashed most most of her books. When I have them all I will give away all my other cookbooks.

Excellent cookbook. Id give it 5 stars, but it was missing the dust jacket. I dont remember seeing that in the purchase description.

This book shares strategies with multiple other books on selling. It is a bit dated but offers tried and true basics for sales success.

Great book. It may have been written over half a century ago, but human behavior remains pretty much constant and predictable, so the concepts in the book remain totally valid.

This is the BEST cookbook out there. During the COVID19 Quarantie, my sisters and I have a “cook off”, comparing the dinners that we cooked from the book every night. It’s been fun. Recipes are easy.

Most ingredients your probably have in your pantry. I gave the book as a gift to someone moving to Europe. She is so excited, as she is familiar with Ina Garten’s recipes.

I have all 12 of Ina Gartens cookbooks and every recipe is superb. She is a perfectionist.

This was a Christmas gift for my Daughter-in-law. She and I are both big fans of Ina. I looked through the book and found some great recipes that I would like to try. Maybe I will purchase one for myself.

Aside from the story which grips you from the start, this book is well written, and keeps the reader wanting to find out what happens next. Believe me, you will not want to put it down until the very last words! It was 2016, and Dion Leonard, an ultramarathoner, was running in a 155 mile race through the Gobi Desert.

About halfway through, our heroine, a little sandy colored dog who later became known as Gobi, found and adopted Dion for her own. Gobi ran alongside Dion and the others, and spent nights in snuggled in his tent.

By the end of the race, Dion had decided to bring Gobi home to Edinburgh. Finding Gobi gives us insight into Dion, his childhood, background and his character. Readers will come to know him as a compassionate man, as evidenced by the precious time lost during the race when he first went back to help Gobi cross the river, then stopping to save a fellow runner from possible heatstroke or worse.

I first learned of Dion and Gobi’s story during the campaign to raise funds to bring her to the UK. It was during her quarantine period that Gobi became lost in China. No one can be certain how she got lost, where she had gone, or what happened to her during this time.

This book follows Dion as he decides to take time off from work, with the support of his wife, Lucja, to return to China to find Gobi. It feels almost as though we were there, with Dion and the army of volunteers, as they travel the streets of Urumqi, coming upon leads and facing disappointment.

Though we all know how the search ends, Finding Gobi takes us emotionally through these ups and downs, to the miracle of actually finding Gobi! Once again, Dion is faced with leaving Gobi for her quarantine, and ultimately decides to spend the time living in Beijing, where he and Gobi are embraced by the locals.

My favorite lines of this book are, “They say it takes a village to raise a child. I think it takes half a planet to rescue a dog. “.

I love everything about this story! I stumbled on it watching animal rescue videos. since then, I’ve watched every single interview they gave 4 or 5 times in Italy, UK, USA, Austrailia, internet podcasts, Scotland, and I’m sure other places.

I love this little dog and I couldn’t be happier that she was truly rescued from being a stray in China to living the good life. At one point she was lost after Dion (the marathon runner who rescued her & author of this book) went back home while the quarantine process began.

I felt how devastated he must have been. There was no doubt in my mind or anyone’s, I’m sure, that Gobi was not going to just sit around waiting for her human. No. She did the same thing for him that he did for her.

she set out to find the love of her life. Her soulmate and savior. He must be lost so that precious little baby set out in a city of over 3 million people and probably just as many dogs. My heart broke.

I better not say anymore. I’ve only said as much as Dion has in his interviews so I’ll stop. Please read this book! There are so many elements. This is not a 1 in a million wonderful rescue stories. If people could realize that most pets that are rescues turn out to be PHENOMENAL PETS!!! Maybe because they are so grateful, I don’t know, but it’s true.

I had followed Dion and Gobi’s story from the beginning. Who wouldn’t love the tale of a scrappy nowhere dog tagging after a runner. But the trials and treks that she endured took the story to a whole new level of devotion.

This is the story behind all that – Dion tells it like it was, from a childhood of trial, to what drove him to running in the first place. I was privileged to have had the chance to read an advanced copy of this book, and was so moved by how lives tie together, how lives are changed.

The book starts by telling you what to do if you miss your credit card payment. A book claiming to teach you how to be reach should not need to advise how to scrounge back your 12 fee after being disorganised enough you miss the payment in the first place.

Unsure how this book was printed. highly unsatisfied with how this book is organised it is jumbled all over the place and looks incredibly messy.

As a certified teacher of Business Education, this book is outstanding and really speaks to the young professionals trying to learn how to make financial decisions. An easy read. I have bought many copies and have given as gifts and to younger colleagues.

Mike Bayer’s step-by-step instructions may look simple at first glance, but when we take the time to apply it and put it into practice, becomes a powerful tool to be better and more successful in every aspect of our lives.

Fantastic book to read to start 2019 – Coach Mike Bayer wrote a book that helps you rethink your life and how you can make positive changes so you can be your BEST SELF !!! As I read the book and completed the exercises in the book, I felt like Coach Mike was coaching me all the way.

He is such an amazing life coach because he brings it down to basics. No matter what obstacle are in your way – weight issues, relationships, job, family. this book will guide to understand what barriers you are putting up that block you from being your BEST SELF.

This book is from 2005!! How are you supposed to learn from an outdated book that references using F-5 key, what type of film to use in your camera, recommends at least 3 pixel camera and no mention of local pick up instructions in shipping.

A real dinosaur and rip off. No response from seller. May be able to sell a 14 yr old novel but not an instruction book. eBay has changed since 2005 ya think.

I bought this book years ago, put it down and forgot about it. Since that time, I’ve recently come across it again, and decided to give it a read. I was amazed! A very few things may be slightly dated, due to policy changes over the years, but still one of the best guides I’ve come across.

Straightforward, just like the author is talking to you. He provides examples of real situations and walks you through them, most often, with his own personal experiences. The book is set up so you may skip around to read about a particular subject, but is great as a straight read through.

What really surprised me, is I really hated putting the book down, it is written that well! If you have often had questions about ebay or some of their procedures, this book is still one of the best on the market! Interested in learning more about selling on ebay.

I’ve heard that motivation comes from inspiration; I found this book to be very inspirational. a great confidence booster! The author writes in a positive, uplifting direction, one which I find valuable and refreshing! I believe I now have the guidance I was seeking.

I initially borrowed this cookbook from the library but after trying several recipes and finding them all winners I knew I had to have this book in my cookbook collection. Like many of Barefoot Contessa’s recipes, they almost always are winners.

This particular book has many no nonsense ingredient recipes. This book would be great for the beginner or the seasoned cook.

Ina Garten’s cookbooks are some of my favorites. Flavorful recipes are easy to follow and pre-owned books often have helpful observations written in margins. So fun!

Love this cook! The gives clear instructions and every recipe I have tried from this collection has been foolproof. Interesting tips contained throughout are also a boon to the technical skills every home cook needs.

Great array or recipes.

I absolutely love this book. I was first introduced to Gabor Mate through Tim Ferris’ interview with him. His approach to dealing with addiction was very intriguing to me. This book did not disappoint.

Particularly interesting to me is how sometimes it is not clear to the individual the stress they have constantly suffered due to the coping mechanisms they developed as a child. Traits that we may deem as honourable such as being selfless and highly conscientious may very well contribute to the manifestation of chronic illness.

This information leaves me feeling empowered. Although we cannot choose the experiences we are subject to as children, we can take personal responsibility to become more self aware and break the generational trauma.

I look forward to the day when more medical doctors treat their patients holistically, and take consideration of the effect of the mind on the body.

This book provides information that is sadly lacking for many people suffering from illness. Modern medicine often focuses on illness in a way that separates the individual from the disease. This book looks at the mind-body connection and how a person’s early history influences that connection.

One of the most fascinating books I have ever read. Our biology naturally prefers to be in a state of equilibrium. Where this balance is disrupted, the body will signal its struggle, often through illness or ‘dis-ease’.

The ability of the author to observe, listen, and be curious about the human condition, leads to a more holistic, non-compartmentalised understanding of the links between body, mind and spirit.

Small pocket-sized AA daily reflection, meditation and prayer. Different to the daily reflection is different to those posted on the US AA website. I find the three parts really helpful to guide prayer and meditation each day.

It is a shame that it needs to be shipped from the US and is not printed elsewhere as it makes the price high compared to similar books.

I actually bought this book for a friend. I have been reading this book for about 4 years. We are both alcoholics and drug addicts in Recovery. This is a great book to begin the day with and I also read it again before I go to sleep.

This is some of my spiritual food. If you struggle with addiction of any kind replace the word alcohol with what you are addicted to. If it is cars you are addicted to mark our alcohol and write cars.

You get the point.

Great little daily meditation book. Have been using one for decades and it is an important part of my day. Never tire of reading this little book. Would highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to try daily meditation.

Liver Rescue is here! I have all of Anthony ‘s @medicalmedium books and they have been life changing for me and so many people suffering from autoimmune diseases etc. Liver rescue is off the charts amazing! Just from the first chapter alone I have learned so much.

Your liver is amazing and performs over 2000 functions in the body. -Healing from Hashimoto s and Vitiligo. If you suffer from any Mystery Illnesses such as Hashimoto s Crones Colitis Lupus Vitiligo and the list goes on.

Long story short I had Mono in my teens (twice) chronic fatigue and Epstein-Barr in my 20 s Shingles in my 30 s (when I was in the best shape of my life) then in my 40 s Hashimoto Thyroiditis and then Vitiligo.

Folks if you have not yet purchased this book. Please do. It is a special gift to us all. There is so much information in this book. I have been highlighting and underlining most of it. Have also been typing up chapter summaries.

I have also just completed the Liver Rescue 3:6:9 Cleanse which is powerful on many levels. I have been following Medical Medium going on 8 years (only the past few years without limited beef and fish intake).

I eat super No Foods clean. Do not drink alcohol or caffeine or use processed sugar or eat out or eat processed foods much. And never the standard commercial brands Yuck! I am not on any medication and have not been for about 7 years.

I have been chugging along making growth and changes and loving my newly vibrant life that gets better each year. And I have not felt this incredibly jettisoned along my healing path since my sessions with Anthony (2011-2014) when I was given the truth I needed and able to finally break out of the prison of my chronic illness.

Integrating the knowledge in this book has given me physical emotional spiritual and soul level shifts I did not expect. Powerful stuff. It is truly a divine book and cleanse. I feel like it has been the missing link for me.

That final thing I needed to pull it all together to move through this place in which I have been happily hovering and elevate in a major way once again. How I feel is beyond words. And I am sure I am not doing it justice here.

However one important internal aspect that is easy to put to words is that my tolerance for people and situations that would get to me has increased by leaps and bounds. Not triggering at all these past few days by the normal stressors in life.

There is so much inner peace. Some of the outward things I see is that my skin is brighter. My eyes are whiter. My abdomen has shrunk several inches. Visibly my back and face have also gotten smaller.

Everything I wear is looser on me. The scale has dropped by 9 pounds several days after the cleanse during which I ate more food than I normally do. I did not go into this book or cleanse thinking about weight.

I make it from all frozen ingredients so it s ice cream consistency (see photo) and place chopped dried figs on it. Heavenly!I thought I felt great before well I guess I had no idea how much more can be accomplished with the information in this book.

I should have known Anthony and Spirit had more for us. They did not let us down with the other three amazing books in the Medical Medium series. I was perfectly happy and grateful to be living and feeling and loving and doing my life as it was before this book thanks to Anthony.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Amazingly pack full of truthful information. This book connected all my families issues and the healing and support for the liver is spot on! Heavy metals neurotoxins and viral loads effect the liver in so many ways, as does many many years on high fat diets (animal and plant fats require a lot of bile to digest- and over work the liver digesting fats).

Information included is unknown to science that bile goes from the liver up into the digestive system to digest foods, kill bacteria an viruses and it feeds good bacteria. Amazing info! The PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal infections) is completely amazing with dosages in the back of the book.
