10 Best Book On Digital Transformation (2022 Updated)

I purchased this study guide as an e-book because I thought I would be able to print the pages I only needed to take notes on from the online class and personal notes in the margins. However, I was disappointed that you could not use the book this way.

I ended up needing to purchase the pysical study guide and I have not yet received it. This has stahled my study loosing my motivation/spirit. My recommendation is do NOT ever buy a study guide/workbook online because you won’t get the same interactive experience than a regular good ole’ fashine hard copy.

I have learned my lesson and will not do that again. Why something like this is even offered as an E-book is beyond me. Once I receive the study guide and can use it appropriately, I will have a more valued opinion of the materil.

The text book is AWESOME!!! So I have to assume the study guide will not disappoint! I’m just disappointed in the method of how it was advertised and sold.

Excellent companion study guide with the video series as well as the book by the same name. I used this with the video study when it was offered through FaithGateway. We are led to look at our own feelings and motives through the direct, yet sensitive questions and suggestions.

This level of honesty becomes critical as we wrestle through those things in our lives that weren’t supposed to happen (or in some cases, not happen). Don’t compare or rate the author’s crises on a scale showing they are much worse than what you are going through – I can say it makes the study questions much more challenging.

We each have our own struggles that leave us as walking wounded, whether physically or emotionally, and in both cases, spiritually. If one is going through trauma or disappointments, this workbook is a valuable part of going forward with the Lord.

I highly recommend it.

I had the book in my cart to read in the not so distant future on Amazon due to the fact that I read Uninvited a while ago. Both books are amazing. However, when you all announced an online Bible study for “ITs Not supposed to be This Way”, I knew this waS the time to buy, read and get involved in this wonderful study! It’s timely, raw and exactly what I thought it would be.

Lysa’s heart and authenticity; as well as struggles with truth, honesty and revelation is a comfort to my soul. I thank you and her, for such a decision to share. It is my hope that I will gain even more insight to God’s character and heart.

And that I will continue to flourish in light of the set backs and hurdles that God has allowed but never wanted me to bear alone! I feel the love and love y’all right back. Thank you again!!!!.

When I bought this book, I was curious because of the fact that so many other people seem to have bought it and because it was personally recommended to me by someone (whom I thought, at least) knew me well enough to know what would interest me.

Turns out, it was the total opposite of everything I expected, and I mean that in the worst way possible. The author’s writing seems EXTREMELY egotistical. like so egotistical, to the point that I became curious if he was a narcissist, or perhaps simply delusional, thinking he had some sort of godlike or superhuman abilities.

Either way, almost every sentence he writes makes it clearly evident that he thinks way too much of himself, and to be honest, it was SO irritating to the point that I couldn’t even go on reading past the first chapter.

It’s VERY new-agey, no realism or logic of any kind is to be found within this book, and certainly no scientific evidence or research to back up any of the claims he makes. Bottom line, it’s a complete load of bull, this book, that’s probably made him rich enough to bathe in a bathtub full of cash, laughing all the way to the bank.

No idea why so many people have bought into all this nonsense, and to be honest, the fact that its sold as many copies as it has makes me lose faith in humanity as a whole. I wouldn’t even give it ONE star, if I had that option.

If you are looking at life or at the world and wondering how to stop suffering, read this book, give it as a gift to anyone and everyone. It has the power to shift world consciousness. And if you read it and don’t feel its power, put it on the shelf and reread when you are ready to hear it! This book and Eckhart Tolle’s book – A New Earth are just what this world needs to evolve into something greater!!! A Must read! Best books I ever read!.

Eckhart Tolle’s book, The Power of Now, has become so popular it is almost perceived as pop-literature (or “new age”). This is both good and bad. The good is that many people are finding the message.

The bad, is that many in academia and religious communities are not recognizing its value. By its popularity, it has become almost too pop culture. The Power of Nows important message runs the risk of being marginalized as a temporary cultural phenomenon.

” The Power of Now’s message is that many people have broken the barrier of fear and discontentment; they have rediscovered or reconnected with their deep sense of peace and joy. In our lack of understanding, we often refer to these people with terminology that may not really be accurate: “enlightened,” “awakened,” “mystics,” “gurus,” “holy,” etc.

These terms are too loaded and create an impression that such a state is unlikely to occur to the average person. Similarly, Christ, Buddha and Mohamed come to mind as three who have delivered monumental messages and effected history greatly.

But there is a tendency to believe that these religious figures obtained peace and joy from God’s grace, and we cannot. There is a misconception that we have to spend our days on earth with discontentment and suffering with the hopes to be reconnected with peace and joy upon death.

The message of Tolle and so many others is that this is wrong. We can find our peace and joy and find it now. We are not discriminated against when it comes to God’s Grace. Tolle aids the process of coming home to ourselves.

He provides us with an age-old message and road map to achieve this. The road map is simple, yet so profound. The message is simply: we need to quiet our minds. So, how do we quiet our minds? How do we realign with ourselves? How do we take off the onion layers to our minds and reconnect with that joyful and peaceful part of ourselves? The term meditation is probably not what you think or have been taught.

Meditation as it used here is more a way of life that can be used in any and every activity you do for the rest of your life. Eckhart Tolle talks about different ways to get reconnected with ourselves.

What is interesting is that many of the methods are somewhat mechanical, and the process is less spiritual than one might think. The end result, however, is certainly deeply spiritual. Some of these methods are: 1.

Breathing and being aware of your breathing; 2. Being the witness of your thoughts without judgment — allowing thoughts to flow without identifying with your thoughts — deeply acknowledging that you are not our thoughts; 3.

Feeling your physical body and allowing it be without judgment; 4. Feeling your emotional body (including the emotional pain) and allowing it be without going on thinking tangents about the pain — just being there with the raw physical emotional pain.

5. Getting in touch with the silence and stillness that is ever present; (so as you listening intently to the world around, you pay attention also to the silence that is behind all sounds); 6. Being totally present where you are and allowing that which happens to be; 7.

Acknowledge and avoid the traps of time — with a deep understanding that in reality what happened in the past is no longer; and what happens in the future is not now (basically time really does not, from a physics perspective, exist); 8.

Accepting what you are at any given moment; 9. The simple act of asking God to allow you to feel His presence/His Grace, and then, the act of you feeling God’s presence; 10. To go deep inside yourself and realize that innate joy that is ever present — God.

11. Feeling the stillness within yourself.

This is a really good attempt to involve photographers and help them understand the mechanics of a DSLR camera and improve their photography. It is a serious book! Unfortunately it doesn’t quite work for me as I find it difficult to plough through and the suggested weekly course approach doesn’t suit me.

I really wish someone somewhere could demystify DSLR photography: I’ve bought several books that promise to do so – including Idiots Guides – but all of them become hopelessly involved in technicalities.

No wonder most people stick to their phone cameral or merely stick on Automatic! I will plough through this book but chunks of it will be ignored. I’m sure it will help me eventually to become a more knowledgeable and better photographer but it will take time and patience to do so.

NOT a quick fix. but perhaps I’m too old and thick to really appreciate this.

Detailed and comprehensive, but can be a little off putting as you sometimes have to flick from one page to another. Easy but relevant questions once you have thoroughly read your current focus; everything is easy when you read correctly “how to!” Photo images illustrate the wrong and correct way, which believe me helps a lot! So pleased I bought this book! I must also recommend the Booktopia buying experience; Easy navigation of the website; straight forward purchase and prompt delivery.

I was also able to track my purchase with Australia Post.

The Digital Photography Complete Course is a comprehensive and easy to read tool for those who want to improve their photography skills. I found it very helpful and actually enjoyed the projects provided to hone each new skill.

It is well set out and provides diagrams and examples to ensure you can easily understand how to implement each new step of the process. My photography skills have improved beyond measure and will continue to do so the more I practice the techniques provided within the book.

I have no hesitation recommending this book to any budding photographer. With practice you can turn your everyday snap shots into beautiful, professional looking photos you would be proud to hang on your walls.

For those not in the know, this is based on the first campaign Dungeons & Dragon Livestream/web show called Critical Role. With introductions out of the way, this is a remarkably well-written and well-illustrated graphic novel.

Each of the principal characters is well-defined, and their intertwining stories give the book a sort of madcap feel. It’s also well-paced, so the energy doesn’t cause the story to spiral out of control.

And last, and perhaps the most important, this truly reads like the shenanigans a D&D party can get up to.

Great tie in for Critical Role fans. If you are a critter and want to see more of the lore of how the heroes joined forces then this is a must. The characters are carried over to print almost perfectly to what you see from the cast weekly (especially Scanlan).

With series 2 underway currently make sure grab this if you missed the digital release!!.

I struggled to decide between this paperback or the hardcover library edition, but I’m glad I chose this one knowing how thick the books from Critical Role tend to be, this weight is easier to read. I love this book so much and can’t wait until Volume 2 is in stock again!.

This book is literally changing my life! Chapter 4 says it all. For decades I never could figure out why communication between myself and certain other people was impossible. Now I see why other people are not not my enemy, nor am I theirs.

We just live with a different truth, under a different agreement that we made with ourselves, long ago. So there is nothing to resolve, only to accept each other as we are – either up close or from a distance.

I feel so freed, finally. I am forever thankful to the authors, Don Miguel Ruiz and his son, Don Jose Ruiz.

I bought the Four Agreements and The Fifth Agreement at the same time. later read some review whilst waiting delivery. Some folk complain that The Fifth Agreement is a re-hash of The Four Agreements with a little add-on.

I don’t agree. I think its worthwhile reading both books.

this book reviews the 4th Agreement. the difference between the books are the 4th agreement is all about you and understanding your emotions and feelings and how to react. The 5th agreement while reviews these point with you takes a step up.

now that you know how to control and understand your own emotions you are ready to incorporate others into it. You will learn about other people and their emotions and how to treat people as equal human beings living as one.

This is a must have to be fully grounded and have the understanding of yourself and others. An easy read and reference book. I recommend it for all ages.

Working through this guide gave me insight, laughter and amazing hope founded in scripture for all the situations in this season. Though my season is not as that which Lysa encountered it applies perfectly for my overwhelmed with life season of elderly parents in their nineties still in their own home, full time job I hold, injured husband who may have to go on disability, and 2 four archer properties to maintain.

My days are long and tiresome mentally and physically. This study got me back to hope and trust in the Lord when I felt abandoned by all. grateful for Lysa’s time in this book and her honesty!!!!.

Saw on Facebook through a post by Faithgateway that there was going to be an OBS on this book. I registered and ordered the study guide and book. Never heard again about the study. I did receive my study guide and book though.

I went back to the promotional video to register again. never heard. a couple of days past the start of the OBS I messaged faithgateway. Crickets. I will start the study on my own but sure would have enjoyed the OBS.

I also would’ve appreciated a response from faithgateway. Lesson learned.

I have found what little bit that I have read so far amazing. It is so interesting. Every true Christian should want to read this book. I have been so blessed and impacted by it so far and I am only getting started.

All God wants to do is love us. Because we feel we cannot love ourselves there is a shift in our thinking that God does not want to love us. That said, Skye presents elegantly the preposition “with” as an action to do something “with” God, therefore intimacy “with” our God becomes such joy you are one “with” our creator.

Skye Jethani’s With: Reimagining The Way You Relate to God was my first book through the BookSneeze review program, and I’m honestly glad I found the program and this book on it. You see, this is one of the more mind blowing books I’ve ever read – which is saying something, considering I’ve read books such as Ted Dekker’s Circle Series and most books Bill Myers has put out.

If you want to quit reading this review now, I’ll leave you with this: READ THIS BOOK. You will NOT regret it. Some details: Mr. Jethani – an editor of a leading Christian magazine – uses the first half of the book to talk about the four basic ways most of us relate to God: Life UNDER God is basically what I call “Talibaptists”, though Mr.

Jethani never gets CLOSE to using that word. These people believe that we must live life strictly by the Bible and that if we don’t, we’re doomed. Life OVER God essentially uses the Bible as a divine “how to” manual, nothing more, nothing less.

These are the people that keep the “self help” authors in business. Life FROM God sees God as a divine bank account that can never run out. This is the consumer culture variant of Christianity. Life FOR God sees life as a mission.

These people will go to Outer Mongolia at the drop of a hat – and still miss the point. In each of the first four chapters, Mr. Jethani delves into each of these first four ways of relating to God, and shows both their strengths (yes, they have them), and their critical weaknesses.

In the remainder of the book, Mr. Jethani describes a life WITH God, what it looks like, and why it is the epitome of a Biblical understanding of our relationship to God. While I’ve tweeted a lot of amazing quotes from this book, you’ll just have to read it to see them for yourself, as well as the remaining treasure trove I simply couldn’t tweet out for many reasons.

In my Kindle edition, the appendices began at roughly 80% or so, and included both a discussion on some “how to pray” techniques as well as a brief discussion guide for the book. Overall, the only weakness that I saw – though it was a bit glaring – was that when I hit the appendices, I was still looking for a more succinct summation chapter than the one we got.

Skye Jethani’s book “With” is a simple premise. Live With God. The book focuses on the stages of life, “Life over God,” “Life apart from God,” “Life Under God,” “Life from God,” and finally “Life from God” The book does a fantastic job of showing how as we mature in our faith and we begin to take part in unity and communion with God, our mindset shifts and our life shifts.

Learning to live with God, where he is our source and supply is a central theme of The Christian life. The power of the cross was that is brought us back into functioning unity with God. Jesus poured His life out so we could Live with Him.

This is not a book that is going to teach you something NEW, but rather reinforce the things that are basic to the faith. It will encourage you and help you to shift your mind to life in a higher mode of life.

The reason to have this book is not because it will change your life, but rather because it keeps your life on point. This is a book that reminds you of th truth you are supposed to know in a fresh and imaginative way.

With all due respect Dr. Dyer, who I tremendously admire, I personally don’t think this is one of his best works. Don’t get me wrong, it contains a lot of good information, and is worth the money and time to listen; it’s just that the (voice) quality of the recording is poor and it does not flow well as compared to some of his more recent CDs.

Moreover, I was disappointed because the book/CDs did not focus to the extent I expected on the prinicples of realizing our dreams through believing in ourselves and visualization. Rather, the priniciples highlighted in the CDs were fairly broad compared to his more recent work.

The book left me hanging, as if there should have been one additional CD. If you are looking for the same material as was I, a better selection would be Dr. Dyer’s “The Power of Intention”.

Dr. Wayne Dyer – A truly unbelievable, exceptional spirit that apparently was put on this planet to explain to us, in a very down to earth manner – that; *there’s more to life than making it go faster* – that; *you are more than what troubles you* – that; *your thoughts expand, so be careful what you think about* – and that; *your friends are Gods way of apologizing for your relatives* – among his other virtuous explanations of life and that if implemented, really work! And thus started the beat that I’ve begun to walk to.

I first read this book 16 years ago and I immediately related to this author. I frequently give this book to others who are unclear about their spiritual journey or the meaning of spirituality. This book supports the concepts put forth by the authors of Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book.

I share Dyer’s perceptions with my clients who are struggling with understanding the poweinof the universe vs. the power of drugs.
