20 Best Bras For Pregnant Women (2022 Updated)

So some mixed feelings about this bra. I measured myself and seemed to fall under the size medium “full busted” category, which confused me, but I decided to trust the chart. However, when the bras arrived, they had way too much space under the armpits.

I was so disappointed! I loved everything else about the bra. I ended up being able to give the bras to my pregnant friend, and they actually fit her well. I found the same type of bra online at Macy’s, and they were cheaper than they are on Motherhood Maternity, so I decided to order two of those in the same size, but in average bust.

I put on the one bra as soon as it arrived, and loved how it fit! I had been having a lot of pain and irritation wearing anything on my breasts during pregnancy, but these bras do not irritate my nipples or hurt my breasts.

I also love the color choices! The one thing that was really disappointing, is that one of the bras I ordered from Macy’s was not the same size as the other. It said it was a medium, but the fit was so much tighter.

I cannot wear it. I am guessing Motherhood Maternity had a batch of bras that are actually smalls that got mislabeled? Because I saw someone else with the same complaint, that the bras they ordered were not the same size.

That was pretty sad, but in general, great bras.

BRAS are tiny and appear to be made for TWEENS! Underwear is not returnable, even if unopened – BEWARE before you buy!!! The panties are HUGE! I ordered a medium bc I have hips that started at 39in and have increased to 40in within my first couple weeks of being pregnant.

I also ordered large to stock up on for later in my pregnancy as I grow larger with each trimester. The panties came in and I only tried on the mediums – the mediums are MASSIVE!!! They look like granny panties on me, are bunging up under pants (they look awful under leggings), so in reality I need the smalls right now with 40in hips and won’t need this mediums until later in my pregnancy.

I tried to return the large panties (all are still in the sealed package) and this company is refusing. Their size charts are completely wrong for most of their items (swimwear, undies and bras). The bras are WAY too small according to their size charts and the undies and swimwear is MASSIVE compared to their size chart.

I am disappointed in the large discrepancies and the return policy for items that have not even been opened.

Took a long time to receive bras, but understandable due to COVID-19. Bras look and feel very nice. However, both of my “rose” colored bras began pilling excessively on the second day of wear. Yes, not from washing, from wearing.

Then, I spilt a small amount of water on my bra. Went to dab it with a rag, and a piece of fabric literally just falls off! Small, but large enough that if I were to wash it, or continue to wear it, it would start getting worse.

Mind you I received them around 5 days before this occurred, and the quality got worse before my eyes as I wore them. I had to remove it because I’m sure you know as a mom how hard it is to feel beautiful, and fit clothing, and I thought I had finally found something like that- until it started pilling and getting random horizontal lines from like 4 hours of wear.

Then a chunk of fabric straight up just fell out. It upset me a lot, because now my brand new bras look years older with each minute of wear from pilling that’s a huge pain to remove, one of them has a hole, and I don’t even want to wear them ever again because if I do they’ll be deteriorating even faster.

A nursing bra should be functional, durable, and made of quality fabric. I got one for 13$ at target that’s held up throughout my entire pregnancy and first two months of my daughter’s life. I’m under the belief that if you properly care for a product, especially one marketed to mothers, it should last at least a year.

Now, I contact customer service through the website option and get no response or support ticket. So eventually I email them directly, and send photos of the hole as well as the remaining pills. Customer service rep Karina replies that “the items are fine, since they are not broken or with holes, only have “small balls of fabric.

”” Then tells me it’s my fault and to wash on delicate cycle with mild detergent. I washed them once, in a mesh delicates bag that prevents pilling, on delicate cycle with cold water, with baby detergent.

Just beware if you buy these that the quality may not hold up, and the customer service employees they hire are flat out rude and disrespectful when I wasn’t disagreeable or unkind whatsoever. Completely caught me off guard.

Especially since she didn’t just ask for a better photo of the hole, minimized the problem, was condescending and accused me of lying. The last thing I want to do as a mother is debate with a customer service rep about whether my product is damaged enough for them to care.

It shouldn’t even be damaged in the first place!! Lol.

Nach 2/3 Bewegungen mit dem Oberkörper aber, saß das Bustier überall, nur nicht dort wo es sollte. Er gibt überhaupt keinen Halt, die Träger sind nicht straff genug, selbst eine Stilleinlage guckt vorn raus, da die Körbchen zu knapp bemessen sind.

Bei Nacht fiel der Busen heraus, ein Schlafen auf der Seite ist damit nicht möglich. Selbst ein Bücken lässt den Busen munter aus der Reihe tanzen. Wer dieses Bustier so designt hat, hat vermutlich noch nie einen Stillbusen gehabt.

Ganz schlecht leider, für knapp 18 Euro bin ich sehr enttäuscht! Zur Info: Habe es in L gekauft, trage normalerweise etwa 85D.

IšverstiShow in original languageGreat sleep bras for postpartum. They’re cotton (my favorite) with a good amount of stretch. When I first received then I thought they were too large (during pregnancy I had been sizing up from my usual medium (36B pre-pregnancy) to large), which generally works though some bras continue to be too small even in L.

These ones even at 9 months were still quite loose, but they were comfy so I figured I would hold onto them. Post-partum, with very sensitive nipples from feeding this was the only bra I wanted to wear that fit! Even looked cute.

One thing to know is that there’s zero padding in these bras, so almost certainly your nipples with show. And they’re not so stretchy to think that they’ll keep working after I am less engorged, but I think I am going to be living in these for the first most so that works for me.

Bin 165cm, 55 kg Ausgangsgewicht, 65 G Körbchen vor der SS / seit der SSW 20 ertrage ich die Größe 65K. Ab 65 G passt der Medela Bustier in M nicht mehr. Zu wenig Halt und zu kleine Cups. Darum trage ich jetzt den Bustier in L drunter und drüber eine M – also zwei Medela Bustiers gleichzeitig.

Ich habe (glaube ich) alle Bustiers / BHs Marken am Deutschen Markt durchprobiert und mein Fazit: DAS ist die beste Variante! Beim Yoga und Radfahren top halt. Ich kann sogar ein paar Meter laufen (!) ohne zu Verzweifeln!.

I’ve decided to keep this one, which says a lot despite it still not fitting correctly. I still haven’t found a bra that fits during pregnancy, but I measure at a 36F now (cup size went down in pregnancy since the band size got so much bigger).

I got this bra in the XL *****. Compared to the other styles Kindred Bravely has this one actually has enough fabric to cover my bust, but doesn’t fit correctly like it looks like for other folks. This bra rotates while wearing it so that side of the bra that goes under the other side completely cups the breast and separates the two.

So on that side, the arm hole is further onto the breast, and the other side the armhole is kind of in the armpit. Although it’s not supposed to do this, I do like that it ends up with fabric separating the *******.

All wireless bras push them together and I can’t stand it, at least this gives a fabric barrier. The band: There is a small elastic band that is about half the width of the fabric band that encases it.

I assume most people like a really wide band which is why every wireless bra I see has one, but this is a little deceptive. It folds and twists easily under the bust, and if you’re like me with a short waist, the rest of the empty band without the elastic easily becomes the first inch of fabric under the breast.

So again, not supposed to fit like this but a short waist is a personal problem. Comfortable fabric, I hope that the band gets more comfortable once it’s not going across the top of the bump so I can wear it to bed postpartum.

Otherwise I have zero bras that are remotely comfortable enough to wear to bed.

The material is amazing. It’s soft and thick and exactly what I would want in a nursing bra. Just enough support without being constricting as well. That said, this bra does run very small. According to the size chart I’m between a small-***** and a medium-***** so I went with the medium-***** and I probably should have gotten a large-***** because the band feels pretty tight around my ribs.

There’s also not much give when you pull it down to nurse so it kind of cuts under your boob when your nursing, especially if you have multiples and need to pull down both sides at the same time to tandem feed.

Not ideal, especially if you’re prone to clogged ducts. Additionally, and most importantly, the elastic in the band is incredibly irritating. It’s more narrow than the band itself and not tacked down completely so it twists and bunches all over the place which is annoying and uncomfortable when you’re wearing it.

If they had sewn the elastic down completely it could have eliminated this issue altogether, but instead there’s just a couple seams going down through it vertically to generally keep it from rotating.

I got this bra for free so I can’t complain too much and I may just try sewing the elastic down myself but I don’t know if I would pay full price for another one. It’s neither the best nor the worst.

The perfect travel bra When I was 23 I backpacked through Europe and wished to myself “I was I had a machine washable bra I could bring to the laundry mat and throw in with the rest of my clothes. Fast forward to Dec 2021, I had a pregnancy scare and a few months later started getting ads for nursing bras.

I initially brushed off the ads but then I saw the words “dryer safe” and “***** sized available” and y’all peeked my interest. I decided to bite the bullet and order two bras because I wasn’t sure if I was a Small-***** or a Medium-***** and let me tell you.

THESE CHANGED MY GD DMN LIFE. I own 9 of these bras now in the small-***** size. The small-***** actually fit my 32G girls (I usually have a 31” underbust and 38” overall breast circumference). They run big and are not itty bitty tidty committee friendly, but that’s no problem for me.

They provide light support that I’m not sagging like crazy, but I can comfortably wear one in a 14 hour transatlantic flight. I recently got stuck in the Middle East for a few weeks due to COVID. I was so thankful I had these bras with me.

I could take these to the laundromat, wash with the rest of my dirty clothes, and viola, clean bras. No hand washing. No awkwardly trying to find a place to hang them in the hotel bathroom. Just wear, wash, and repeat.

As an avid traveler I will be bringing these bras on all my trips from now on. 5 Stars. 10/10.

I think I love this bra, but I have only worn it a few times. I love the quality and the feel and the fact that that there are NO REMOVABLE PADS. I like the lower cut both for appearances and ventilation, but I can still fit my big nursing pads inside for leaks.

That said, it was a challenge to find the right size. I am 5’2”, with a moderately athletic build. Before pregnancy, I wore a 36AA from a band specializing in smaller bust sizes. Now five months pregnant, I wear a 38A.

The size calculator does not work with my measurements, so I went conservative and ordered a large based on my band size. The cups were ridiculously huge on me. I went conservative again and exchanged it for a medium.

The cups were still enormous. Finally, I ordered the small. With the band extender that comes included, I was able to wear it, and the cups fit! The band extender was nice and soft (unlike the band extender for the more classic Sublime bra).

Overall, I was very pleased with the ease and speed of exchanges and returns. However, I think the size calculator and size charts on the KB website needs to include the modified sizes of the bras WITH the extenders.

I would have bought from KB years ago if I had known I could have made them work (what made me take the plunge finally was being fed up with all these removable pads). I am really fed up with the bra industry’s lack of understanding that having a wide chest (either because of athletics or because you simply have a wider rib cage) does NOT mean you need bigger cups.

Also, a note about the fit with the band extender – if you have to use the extender at its maximum length like I do, the bra’s shoulder straps WILL position closer to your sides and further away from the center of your back.

I imagine that this would be a problem for bustier women. I know that for me, this fit is temporary as I will probably go back down to being a 34-36 band after delivery (and my boobs will disappear).

It would bother me if it were permanent.

If I hadn’t cut the tags, washed and worn this already I would return it!! I wanted desperately for this one to work, because I love the fixed cups and all of my other bras by kindred bravely have fit and worked well.

This one doesn’t allow room for fluctuating breast size due to engorgement or baby not nursing at regular intervals. It fits great right after baby has nursed but at all other times of the day it causes my ******* to do all over and out of the cups, gives a weird lumpy look under clothes and the straps aren’t wide enough to offer real support for large or heavy *******.

The band is plenty generous in sizing. I followed the size chart like I have with all other bras fro you and it just doesn’t work. A ***** version definitely needs to be made. This one isn’t designed for nursing moms with large chests.

So disappointed in this design because it had so much potential to be the best one yet.

This is seriously one of my favorites ever. I’m not a big reviewer. I really only review the amazing and the terrible. but anyway, this one is worth it!!! I only wish there were more colors! I am currently ~4.

5 months pregnant and starting to build up my postpartum stash. It’s rare that I find things that I want to wear pregnant, postpartum, etc. and this one fits the bill. As much as I love the more minimalist breastfeeding bras, they don’t have good ****** coverage, so I can’t wear them in real life as much.

But this one. I could wear for literally everything, breastfeeding and beyond. I can tell it is stretchy enough to accommodate expanding cup sizes. It is totally seamless under clothing and just so incredibly comfortable and soft and pretty!! I’m always happy to see things that are versatile, especially when spending this much money on all this stuff.

Plus, yay for pregnancy and postpartum things that make you feel as sexy and wonderful as you are as a mama!!.

Wow these nursing bras are incredible!! I was really excited to find these but of course a little skeptical. I just got mine yesterday, I ordered the Spruce Green and it is just as pictured. Before even trying on I could feel the quality l.

Super soft and no scratchy parts. As soon as I tried on I knew I would be ordering more. It is super comfortable, I kind of forgot I was wearing a bra for a second. I LOVE how the padding is just built into the bra.

Unlike my other nursing bras where the pads are not secure and they move arou and fall out while in use or getting washed. Also the support!! I am a C cup and ordered one size up in the band so a 38C and it fits perfectly.

I love how when you open the bra to nurse there is no folding of the cup, it just folds down seamlessly so you don’t have a bra cup all bunched up against the baby. Wow wow wow is all I can say. If you are thinking about it just stop thinking and order! Just remember to go one size up on the band size.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, since this bra is cheaper than the other brands I’d been eyeing and the reviews were “iffy” about the sizing. I’m so glad I decided to buy it. This is a steal for the price and the bra is likely the best nursing bra in my collection right now.

It’s comfortable, gorgeous, and the lace exterior hides the milk drool stains from nursing. About the sizing: I’m 34B before pregnancy. I bought the bra during labor (ha) and ordered 36C. The band fit was just slightly tight during the first week of nursing and cups were spot on.

Once the nursing schedule evened out and I lost 50% of pregnancy SHAPE gain (for me, this was second week post-partum), the bra may be sightly too big, which can be adjusted in the band easy enough with the hooks used.

The cups gape just slightly under the arm once the milk supply goes down in cycles during the day. Under tops it’s barely noticeable. I suspect but am not certain that I’d probably would have been ok ordering 34C or B.

I sized up in band size which I’m glad I did that’s not the issue. After reading multiple reviews and seeing that you have to pay to ship your order back for a return I really wanted to get the right size.

Before I was pregnant I was a size B band size 34. Since I’m 26 weeks pregnant and my boobs have grown a reasonable amount I ordered a size C band size 36. The size C cup fits around my boobs well but the design of the bra has some flaws.

The sides of the cups by my armpits flare out and make me feel like I’m getting a rash. The bra itself is not comfortable either. I was hoping I would achieve both comfort and style with this bra and that is not the case.

I personally wouldn’t recommend to any pregnant moms because for me comfort plays a huge part and I am constantly itching from the fabric and loose material that flares out on the sides.

I bought this thinking it would be like every other wireless bra. Having a 38 DDD chest, I was very skeptical of the support it would have. When I got it, I immediately tried it on because I was so excited and doubtful at the same time.

I just can’t brag enough about this bra. Now I’m waiting for the beige one to come back in stock. This cross front design and the thin stiffer band design gives such great support. I’m very surprised and happy that I purchased this.

have been searching and purchasing and trying many different bras specifically for comfort , no wire, cross front to keep breasts from squishing together, and to accommodate different sized breasts. Did find a few that I liked , BUT this one I strongly recommend.

It has everything I needed plus a hook back to give more stable support.

As some others said, this gives no support. The fabric is just too stretchy. I even tried ordering down a size to make it snugger. It didn’t work. Don’t buy this unless you have no need for support.

I’m due Sept 1 and have already increased cup sizes (started as a 34 B pre-preg). Figured any bras I buy during pregnancy should also be for nursing. I bought this specifically for summer dresses as I already outgrew my cute bralettes I typical wear.

Needed something cute lace and strappy. This bra is perfect and I want it in black and white now too! The lace is very soft not itchy at all (I have VS lace bralettes that are super itchy). I’m also thinking of ordering another style this company sells.

I sized up from my normal (S) to a medium and it fits well in the breasts with room to grow. The lace around my ribs is a little loose but it doesn’t affect the fit so I’m happy with it, especially for the price and non-itchiness.

This bra is very comfortable for sleeping. It has soft barely there padding that offers support but isn’t bulky. The lace is stretchy and comfortable. I might consider wearing it during the day with nursing pads inserted, but the lining isn’t quite thick enough on its own to prevent nipping out.

I do appreciate that the pads are not removable though. I very much dislike removable pads! I bought a small which is my usual size and it fits perfectly. (I wear a 32 C normally. If you have bigger cups, I would size up).

I love Momanda bras. This is the third bra I’ve purchased since giving birth to my son and having tried a slew of other, less expensive bras, I wish I would have just stayed the course and only purchased Momanda bras from the start.

Soft, comfortable, supportive and easy to latch and unlatch for easy nursing. I have no idea how I’ll go back to real bras after this.

I love that these are Canadian and made out of cotton (all other nursing bras seems to be made of non-natural materials – plastic fibers – such as nylon or polyester unfortunately). The pink leopard print is really cute! The plastic clasps work well – even single handedly! But I wish the clamps weren’t plastic as I’m skeptical of how long they will last.

Also plastic isn’t very sustainable so I wish they were made out of something better recyclable instead, like a metal. My biggest issue with this bra is that the white elastic band with the “bravado” print keeps bulging and folds in half – it’s really uncomfortable.

I’ve only hand-washed the bra once and air dried it. So my recommendation is for Bravado to made this without the wide elastic band. Also please make more of your bras out of cotton – it’s really hard to find nursing bras made of cotton for some reason.

I really like this bra! But it does not clip in the back so I have to pull it over my head and stuff myself into it. I have a petite ribcage but big boobies so it is a bit tough to wrangle them in at first.

Once on, the ladies ain’t going nowhere. Although it is not as. robust as I would like. I feel that the clip on accessory holds the flanges on better than this bra does. When you unclip the outer layer, my God the under layer makes my boobies look good lol.

Quite comfy once on but again, would be a bit better with the closure on the back. Really do like how I have the option to pump and nurse at the same time instead of just one or the other.

Bought this bra for the convenience of being able to pump and nurse without changing bras. The bra itself is comfortable, but the removable part only exposes the pumping part of the bra. Beyond that it doesn’t remove.

I’m not sure how people can nurse in this given the hole is barely big enough to git a flange. Am I supposed to put my nipple through a tiny hole and nurse? (My baby would never nurse that way) Is my bra defective? You can’t pull the straps down because it’s a racerback/sports bra type I don’t really understand how this is a nursing bra.

It seems pretty pricey for a pumping bra when I was expecting to be able to do both.

I originally ordered the small Ballet Bra based on the size chart — I am typically a 32 or 34 DD. The cups fit me great, and I love that the straps are adjustable as I often have issues with straps slipping off my shoulders, but the band is very tight on my ribs and not very comfortable.

So I decided to order in a medium. The band isn’t tight anymore, but because the elastic is so thick and stiff, it now gaps in the front and back. I don’t think there can be a perfect size with this elastic… It just doesn’t have enough stretch to it, so it’s either too tight or not tight enough.

I think switching to a different type of elastic — something softer and more stretchy, would be really beneficial. Otherwise, I really like that this company is working on sustainability, representation, etc.

The bra is good quality, and the fabric is nice, especially the lining, it’s very soft. It’s the one I tend to go for if I’m doing casual things. But it’s fairly thin — there is no padding at all, so definitely does not hide hard nipples! Just a heads up.

As a first time mom, I ended up buying several different types of nursing bras from many brands and this is my favourite. I ended up buying 2 more and now have 4. PROS: I love that I don’t have to deal with clasps, especially if I am breastfeeding with other people present.

It pulls down easily and I slide it right back up when we are done. This is also my most comfortable nursing bra. The material is soft and has enough give that it doesn’t irritate my nipples after feeds.

I also really like the cut of this bra. It’s so cute. CONS: I think my husband ran one of mine through the dryer and the elastic is a bit warped now. It still functions fine, but is a little shriveled looking.

Also, this probably isn’t specific to this bra, but the pink bras have been stained irreversibly by my nipple butter. The black ones have no visible stains.

As a petite, but curvy woman, finding a bra that checks even most of the boxes, is virtually impossible. My breasts are fuller on the top, so most bras ‘indent’ them, resulting in an unflattering bulge, the ones that don’t often result in spilling out whenever I lean forward, and because my shoulders are narrow unless the straps crossover they won’t stay up.

Then I have to choose underwire if I don’t want ‘uniboob’. To get all those things in one bra and expect it to be comfortable and pretty. ? The Ballet Bra comes pretty close. The material is soft and smooth, my breasts are supported (not enough to workout though but well enough for normal everyday wear) and separated, nothing is cutting into me and although there is a wee bit of indent on top and I wish there was a little more coverage, nothing is spilling out.

I purchased the recommended size Small. (I measure as a 33E and wear 34DD/E. ) The Medium might have provided more coverage and no indent, but likely would have had other issues, like the band riding up or straps falling off my shoulders.

For comparison sake, I also have the Sheer Sculpt in Medium, which I have to hook on the second row of clasps although even on the first row of clasps it compresses my chest. When all is said and done, I will be ordering the other shades of Ballet Bra.

I got this bra and wanted to love it, but it fell short. The pros: It has a great soft and smooth, seamless design. Straps weren’t super skinny or super wide, nice medium width. Cups unsnapped and snapped for nursing easily.

The back was nice and smooth, no back fat squeezing out. Cons: The sizing was way off. According to the size chart, as a 36DD, the M should have fit me, but it didn’t. The band I was able to wear on the biggest hook, but my breasts spilled out the tops and sides of the cups.

The design also mashed my breasts together like a sports bra. I found the fabric kind of sweaty, too. I wish I had gotten an L or an XL to try, even though according to the size chart that would have been way too big.

Would work in a pinch. It fits okay but the lack of padding and design makes it pretty bumpy and breastmilk pads would be a must. While the fabric is okay and stretchable, it seemed like it might wear out super fast and also stretch and remained stretched out too fast too.

I think there are better bras out there in the same price range. Go with a bestselling Leading Lady one.

It took forever to find a great comfy bra for my growing fast boobs in this pregnancy. I finally found this one. So happy I did. 100% recommend for any and all pregnant/nursing mamas! It doesnt even feel like you’re wearing a bra.

Wish there were more colors though.

I had my first child 5 years ago and this bra was the only one I wanted to wear. I need wire, good coverage both from spilling over and from baby carrot nipples, comfort, support, and attractiveness.

This bra fits all of those. Fast forward to my 2nd pregnancy this year and I need to have surgery on my breast because I was diagnosed with invasive melanoma at 24 weeks pregnant. This bra came in clutch again giving my surgeons access while also support after the procedure (and not having to flash my other boob during surgery).

Fast forward again to having my son in July and once my milk supply was established at about 6 weeks or so, I made the mistake on trying different brands and bras. Silly me. This bra was the only one I came back to.

Bought 2 more pairs so now I can only wear this bra for the duration of my final breastfeeding journey with my final kid. If you are looking for a nursing bra that is basically a normal bra with nursing capabilities, this is it.

The support is great, they are so comfortable so no weird tags or digging in anywhere, and they clip and unclog easily with one hand. Thank you for making this bra so I wouldn’t hate nursing.

Its ok. I hate the hard lined cups, they don’t want to fold down very well for pumping and once they are folded down, they crease and don’t un-crease. I’m a sad panda in pursuit of the unicorn of nursing bras.

I’m looking for functional and cute. This is cute but not functional. I ended up taking it off and throwing it while pumping. I’m keeping it just to wear out because its my only nursing bra with a thin strap.

This bra was quite disappointing. Despite the cute style, this definitely seems to be the kind of product someone made a large profit margin on, which is possibly why it was on discount. The straps are paper thin and feel a bit like plastic ribbon and the lace trim is, for lack of a better way to put it, hard.

It pushes in when you wear it. I made the significant mistake of washing this hoping the stiffness was due to starch or sizing, so I can’t return this, but it is already in my pile of clothes to donate.

There are so many companies making cute underwire nursing bras now, this is really a disappointment.

Perhaps I purchased the wrong fit, but these were the worst nursing bras I have ever owned. Instead of things “staying in place” and then being able to easily adjust when ready to nurse, the bra pretty much just slipped down and uncomfortably pushed against my rib cage the second I would move in my sleep, giving no support whatsoever.

Boobs out all night long. I suffered through these bras for many months but now they are going in the trash because it would feel cruel to donate them and have another mom have to endure such a poorly crafted bra.

I wish I had returned them right away.

Playtex soft cotton nursing sleep bra is great for lounging and mild support. Cotton makes it special. Very breathable and feels like nothing. Stretches all over. Can sleep in it, no squeezing and don’t feel like ripping it off end of day.

XXL is great for 40 DDD even. Just perfect stretch.

I discovered soft cotton “sleep bras” when I was pregnant and nursing a few years back. I still love to wear the bras around the house, but could no longer find them at the maternity store, so I’ve been wearing my old, ratty ones.

Then I saw these bras from Hanes and I am in love again! I wear a DD cup size so the reason I took off one star is they could put more material on the front to add slightly more support, but support isn’t what this bra is about – it’s meant to make nursing easy and keep mama comfortable, both of which it does.

Most importantly, they are cotton, not a synthetic material, so there is no sweat factor. At the end of the day, I love changing out of my underwire bra into one of these soft, comfortable bras. I cannot wait to buy more of them!.

This bra has been wonderful! All of my other nursing bras are so dingy and boring and the quality and material of this one is so nice and feels like a real/normal bra. It makes me feel like a woman again instead of a mom! I set out to look for a bra with pats that were sewn in and would twist up during everyday use or come out in the wash.

When I received this bra I was disappointed because it appeared these were not seen in, but upon further inspection some time later, I discovered they’re sewn in at the bottom instead of all the way around.

So it still achieves the purpose and they don’t twist, come out or migrate to some other part of the bra like my old nursing bras. The only issue I’m having is that the fit isn’t quite right but I’m not sure another size would solve that.

The material gapes just slightly on the sides of the cup near my armpits. I’m sure it has something to do with the lack of underwire or the stretchiness of the material. Overall, I LOVE this bra and I even went back and purchased another color!.

Buy this one!!! Seriously. I bought a pack of Hofish nursing bras and even 3 kindred bravely nursing bras and this one is better than all of them! It feels like a normal/comfortable bra. Postpartum we already have to worry about not feeling like ourselves, we don’t need a bra to remind us too! This one is very comfy and sleek.

The Hofish ones padding is so thick and big it made me feel frumpy and made the girls feel heavy and hot (not in a good way). My Kindred Bravely sublime bra isn’t very soft and the straps are oddly towards the middle of the breast rather than towards the outside so it wasn’t super comfy.

This Momcozy one beats them all! Wish I just bought this one and didn’t waste my money on the others.

I am currently about 19 weeks pregnant and my regular bras do not fit anymore– in either the cup or the band. I used the sizing chart to order- pre pregnancy I was a 36-38C so the sizing chart put me at either a L or XL.

I decided since everything is still growing right now I should go with the XL. It fits nicely but there is definitely room to grow, plus it comes with a band extender. The fabric is super soft and smooth.

There isn’t a single spot that is rough or itchy. The straps allow for you to wear them straight back or racer-back style. Overall, I think this bra has become my new go-to bra at least for pregnancy.

I cant speak to how it will be as a nursing bra yet.

This is a good nursing bra for the price point. I bought a few. Unfortunately the strap snapped on one of them. Even so, I would still buy it again. I ordered the cocoa mocha and the colour was darker than it appears online.

Or maybe they just sent me the wrong colour.

I bought this originally in 34D after measuring myself but the band was way too tight once I tried it on. I ended up doing the “sister size” up and got the 36C which fit perfectly. I really like the material and it’s comfortable.

I do wish it didn’t have to go over your head as I think it would be easier to get on. Otherwise it’s great!.

I bought this bra about 8 months ago and absolutely loved it. I attempted to buy another one 2 weeks ago and it fit completely different. I order multiple sizes as I have now lost some weight but I could not seem to get it to fit.

Somehow the old one I have fits better. It seems like something may have changed in the design.

This bra fits perfect. I have yet to find another bra I feel comfortable and not “saggy” in. After trying in my first one I bought three more! I love it! Not to mention how easy it is to breast feed in also to use handsfree pumps with.

Hands down (literally) best bra!.

These bras are available in a broader size range than many brands and good quality fabric. The snaps are good quality and easy to pull down and clip back up. Downside is the removable cups are worthless and fold completely in half with every movement and the fabric is too thin to provide coverage without them.

If the cups were sewn in, it would be a better product. As is, can’t really be worn under normal t shirts or provide adequate support for heavy breasts but good for lounging.

I’m so glad this bra has landed at Brava! Over the past year or so (during my pregnancy and post-birth) I’ve tried pretty much all (if not all. ) nursing bras at Brava, and along with the Sugar Candy this is my absolute favourite! I was looking for a nursing bra that offers a bit more support, but we couldn’t quite find the right fit for me.

We were about to move to the regular sports bras, but then the Katherine arrived! It’s very supportive and incredibly soft and comfortable, and it comes in the small band size that I need. It’s by no means a high-impact sports bra, you wouldn’t want to go for a run or do 100 star jumps in it, but since I’m still a long way away from that 8.

5 months post-birth that’s not an issue at all (don’t feel bad, you’re not alone, not everyone bounces back as quickly as those few lucky mums on social media :)). It’s ideal for my power walks, bike rides and Pilates classes.

Can’t fault it. Now we just need it in more colours :).

Definitely top in the nursing bras department, and I have tried lots! Great as an everyday bra, and so comfortable and easy to use. Doesn’t make your boobs go out the side like an old nana bra! Now for some colours! I got same size as my Hotmilk temptation bra and works well.

I just LOVE this bra! Best maternity buy I’ve made. I tried loads and they were all either uncomfortable or lacking support. This one does both and gives me a nice shape (albeit not quite as perky as my pre-pregnancy wired one – but close enough!) would 100% recommend!.

This Nike Mother Nature Maternity Bra is so comfortable and supportive. It is made of soft material that doesn’t chafe and it fits like a glove without being too tight. There is a band on the back that allows for different band sizes so when I chose my size, I didn’t have to worry as much about getting the perfect fit.

It allowed me to get within a range when choosing the bra and then adjust the band to fit around my torso. The bra was snug enough for me to do HIIT and strength training with support, but I was still able to pull it down to nurse comfortably.

I didn’t have to worry about feeding times while wearing this bra because it was so easy to use! In fact, I started wearing it around during the day when I wasn’t working out because it was more comfortable than my other nursing bras.

The only downside was that the tags in the bra were itchy and a bit difficult to remove, but once they were gone, I didn’t have any issues with it. The Nike Mother Nature Maternity Bra is one that I would fill my closet with and probably wear year-round!.

I was a little disappointed to see that the model Aerie chose for this does not represent most women who are postpartum, or even moms who are outside of that phase. Most moms (especially postpartum moms and moms of multiple children) do not have flat abs, or a perfectly fat-less, toned body.

No. Most moms have a sagging stomach, even if they have abs. Most moms have stretch marks. Most moms have a layer of fat that their bodies are intent on preserving. Most moms have signs on their bodies that they have had a child.

This is a company that prides itself on inclusiveness in their models, and their commitment to making the pictures more like reality, which is wonderful! I would encourage you to think about your audience a bit more, though.

This model is absolutely gorgeous! It’s just not reality for most of your postpartum audience.

I breastfed my first for 2. 5 years and never really found a comfy bra. I’m currently 5 months pp with my second and again the struggle of finding a good nursing bra continued. When I saw aerie had one I had to try it! It’s super soft, no wire, only 2 back clasps (which is what I wanted, I can’t stand anymore than 2), the straps are comfortable, they aren’t too thin or too thick.

No wire (love) and gives a decent amout of support for my smallish boobs. And my nips don’t show through even though it’s not padded. I’m in love. I’ll probably wear this bra even when I’m done breastfeeding! As other reviewers said the band does run small.

Typically I’m an xs, while breastfeeding I’m about an s. I ordered a medium and I’m on the last clasp. I’m guessing it’ll stretch a bit like most bras do. I don’t find it too tight. As for the nursing pads they do seem lumpy but I wasn’t planning on wearing them anyway so it’s not a big deal for me.

I was beyond excited when my fav bras came out with nursing bras! And they did not disappoint. These bras make me feel like I’m wearing nothing while being supportive for nursing. I’m a 34/36 D/DD and the large is perfect.

Fits exactly like the real free bra sizes. For my cup size while nursing it is very supportive in the straps without digging or having to be massive straps and double claps in back so stays put comfortably.

(Sidenote if you go up to xl or bigger the straps are thicker and 3 prongs for back clasps instead of 2) Only thing it needs desperately is to be lined. Need that coverage for nursing. but with that said still my fav bra and somehow hides disposable nursing pads so that’s a win!.
