20 Best Buy Playstation Vr Demo (2022 Updated)

I’ve owned The PSVR for about a year and all I can say is it was a waste of money. If you’re looking for any amount of actual gaming immersion this isn’t it. The graphics are terrible on every game I’ve played, feel like I’m back on a PS3, sometimes even a PS2.

You need to be in front of and facing towards a camera at all times and that takes away nearly all the joy and freedom from VR. You can’t even slightly turn to the side without losing responsiveness from the controllers and your VR hands start glitching out.

On top of that the camera itself is super touchy to any sort of outside light, so be prepared to invest in black out curtains and hiding from the light to play games. The price of the system is unbelievable, you’re paying full console price for an over glorified PS4 accessory that has way many cables and plugs hanging off it making it hazardous to even attempt to get into a game, one wrong move and the whole playstation and VR come crashing down.

The only reason it even has two stars is because, even with all it’s downsides, it is actually playable. Would trade out for an occulus in a heartbeat.

Do not buy, seriously. Getting this thing to work requires a Herculean effort. When it does work, it is low resolution and the available games are fairly crap. The Ironman game is pretty much unplayable, dragging load screens, the move controllers are constantly drifting.

The VR headset is impossible to get adjusted to cut incoming light. Other than that, the fit is fairly easy to adjust. It is not very comfortable to wear for very long but the good news is the gameplay is so bad you won’t wear it for long.

The camera based boundary adjustment is super clunky and has to be done every time. It looks like this system was created with sitting still in a completely dark room in mind. I thought that Playstation VR would perform better than the Quest 2 that was not connected to a PC.

Nope. Not even close. I will be retuning this hot pile of garbage. Maybe VR2 will be better?.

The PSVR 1 is a very old headset in VR years. This headset came out in 2016. It’s clear that this headset was an experiment to see if anybody cared about VR. For those complaining about the graphics, those graphics were great for a VR consumer headset in 2015/2016.

However, VR technology has changed a lot in 6 years. My question is why you would purchase a VR headset from 2016 in 2022 and complain that its not up to par to newer headsets like the quest 2. With news of the much better improved PSVR2 releasing this year, you sure did waste your money.

If you want a good entry level VR experience, purchase the Quest 2. If you want an even better experience, wait for the PSVR2 (that’s if you can get your hands on a PS5). Otherwise, you have a choice of the higher end VR headsets that will make your wallet scream.

While I have yet to play the London Heist portion of thr disk, the remainder of the games were enjoyable and truly shiwcased the potential of the Playstation VR in not just active enjoyment but also passive entertainment such as with the Ocean Dive and Street Ludge experiences.

Those that have sampled those games truly felt like they were there to such an extend that one of my relatives wanted to quit as soon as she saw how realistic it was. A very good introduction to virtual reality to see how well they can take the experience.

VR World is basically five games in one. Some games are better than others. I’ll review each separately. London Heist: The best of the five. This one has a story behind it where you steal a diamond. Graphics are well done for this segment (especially with a PS4 Pro).

Gameplay is simple and mostly consist of you shooting things with the Move controller aside from the brief puzzle segment with stealing the diamond. Too bad it’s only about an hour in length. Danger Ball is basically like Pong except you use your head to direct the paddle to bounce the ball back.

Would have been great for multiplayer, but unfortunately there is none. Scavengers Odyssey has you pilot a mech suit using a DualShock 4. It’s a very hom hum FPS type game. Combat is kind of boring since there are only like three type of enemies and two variety of guns you can use.

VR Luge has you racing down some roads and streets. You control your lateral movements by tilting your head. It’s all time trial based. You can’t really crash in anything unfortunately, you’re simply slowed down.

Ocean Descent isn’t much of a game. You descend into an ocean to look at things and then watch a shark attack you briefly. If you can find the game for cheap, it’s not a bad buy for London Heist and Danger Ball.

Feels like a VR demo disk at times BUT still worth buying if you are a gamer’s club member, after the 20% off and double points (if your not a gamers club member either get a membership before buying or wait for it to come down in price) Had several mini type games on it.

-the deep was a lot of fun the first time through it but you are just stand there looking around and doesn’t have much replay value to it. However it was very immersive and great for demonstrating the VR type of environment.

very entertaining watching people react to it for the first time (my son screamed like a little girl when he saw the shark). -danger ball was ok. was kind of like a glorified version of pong and takes a little time to get used to just turning you head to move your paddle and not your whole body (like when you are tying to hit a soccer ball with your head).

-the street luge was fun (once again took a little bit to get used to moving just the head and not the whole body) -salvage was my favorite so far and does a great job blending the VR with using the regular controller.

Much more in-depth and interactive compared to the other games -London heist (have not had time to try it yet but will update this review after I do) I do not have the move controllers yet so please keep in mind that this review is from the perspective of only having the headset, camera, and regular controller.

THIS IS A FULL REVIEW Finding a review to explain exactly what the VR experience entails is a difficult one Many simply state it being hard to explain and just buy one to find out The problem with this is that it is a very expensive way of just jumping in blind to find out for yourself I made the plunge after years of doubt, and having unsuccessfully found anywhere to trial one Well, i wasnt disappointed Trying to describe the VR experience is in fact as hard as others have said, but i think the experience can be described in order to give a sense of what it offers Visuals – i can best describe my experience, using the Oculus Quest, as giving an immersive, 3D / holographic type of experience.

Back in the 80’s our school had a travelling science group who showed us holograms, looking through boxes or tubes, seeing the visual holograms of certain objects, animals etc. These images appeared 3 dimensional, and also appeared to be, in a sense, floating within this infinite 3 dimension space.

This is the experience that VR, in general, offers. Take Robo Recall for example, my first outing in to VR It immerses you in what feels (or the brain is tricked) like a real life city, albeit in an obvious computer game graphical visual.

However, where it shines is that interactions while fighting/shooting the robots, in that they appear correctly, at various distances, scaled correctly, shadow details, etc and the rendered ‘box’ of the robots is incredibly accurate.

‘Grabbing or shooting at the robot, gives a real sense that they are actually there, in front of you (or behind) and you find yourself reacting automatically to duck dodge or block them. VR is this ability to construct a 3 dimensional arena/world, and tricking the brain to immerse you as if it were real.

The only thing that holds you on to actual reality is the obvious computer rendered images you see (and the occasional hitting your knuckles on a nearby desk or wall Oculus Quest Unit Hardware This unit is my first jump in to VR, so i have nothing to compare it to, however, I’ve bought many an item over the years, and can clearly judge that this item is of top rated build quality The plastics are hard, feel sturdy, have differing surface finishes depending on if its where you would normally hold or touch.

The straps are adjustable, feel strong and hard wearing. The foam padding is comfy and soft, and does an excellent job of block out light. The lenses / screens have an adjustment facility for those with eye issues.

I have on eye with long distance issues, however i can wear my oculus with out my glasses and have no issues with seeing clearly. It is possible to buy lense inserts from the Oculus approved company by giving them your prescription I havent opened up the unit to look at the internals (nor will I), but this unit uses OLED screens with a high resolution, a high brightness, and the blackest of blacks.

The refresh rate doesnt cause any tearing or slowdowns when things get fast paced. The battery has a supposed life of around 2 hours, ive achieved slightly higher than this, but it will depend on the software, games etc that you are running.

The touch controllers are superb, and i was blown away with how accurate the xyz position and displaying of these were on the unit. Software This area was a surprise for me, id had a quick look and saw a few games ertc, but it wasnt until i installed the oculus app on my phone (this is required on initial first turn on of unit) and the oculus app on my pc (not required to play on oculus), that i saw the shear amount of additional software tools available.

The Quest can be run as a standalone unit, using just the Quest store for software. However, plug in a cable and attach it to your VR capable PC opens up a whole ‘rift’ of possibilities. This software, Oculus Link’ enables the quest to access the Rift store, hereby giving full access to the complete list of software available on the PC based Rift store, thus opening even more games and apps.

From there you can also instal SteamVR, and access the VR content on the Steam store. This whole process is a simple case of buying the correct USB-C to C cable (must be capable of delivering power and data, normally advertised as 10GB cables) and allowing the oculus pc software detect your headset, install the Oculus Link software (in Beta, but its works well), then on the Quest home screen, you simply click on the beta link button and it transfers you to the Rift home screen and store.

For steam it requires SteamVR (which is in your ‘tools’ folder not games) The oculus software enables you to map out your room, drawing around everything using the touch controllers, this gives you a safe area, and the system will bring up a grid on your eye screens when you get too close (this can be adjusted and changed very easily if you use the Quest in another room etc.

As the quest version is primarily wire free, portability function is great on this) run out of characters lol.

The Quest, on it’s own is amazing. The wireless nature automatically gives it an advantage over the Rift, especially for games that require wide ranges of motions. The reason I give it four-star however, is two reasons, one more excusable than the other, imo.

As of writing this, the Quest doesn’t have a significant library and isn’t quite seamlessly compatible with Rift games. Just to play Rift games, you need the cable and the beta-mode Cable Link. I attempted this with FNAF VR, which I’d purchased prior to figuing out which headset I was going to get.

It worked, sure, but wasn’t quite synced properly. The bigger issue, to me at least, is if you’re someone who wants to stream VR games. The only available platform right now is Facebook. There is no option to stream to Twitch or even upload to YouTube.

You *have* to use FB. There is a way around this, much like a way to download custom Beat Saber maps, via third party apps on your laptop. The Virtual Desktop, apparently, tries to force you to uninstall SteamVR (I haven’t tested this yet, but that was a major complaint I saw while researching Virtual Desktop).

A lesser issue I’ve run into is the joycons spontaneously becoming unresponsive for short periods of time, which is unfortunate but not a major issue for me. Overall, the Quest is delightful and I’ve definitely put enough hours in to justify the price to myself.

Hopeful for more titles to come to the Quest, better options for streamers, and for Bluetooth to allow use of Steam VR if the laptop/computer is Bluetooth compatible~.

Overall the best standalone VR headset out there. Not only can the Oculus Quest run some great games on its own, it can also act as a PCVR headset with Oculus Link. This allows you to enjoy all of what PCVR has to offer on your quest for as little as $20 (10ft USB3 C to A).

Better yet, there’s an app on the Quest store called Virtual Desktop ($20) which, with a decent wifi connection, allows you to stream your desktop to your headset. With a little sideloading, this can include playing PCVR games wire-free creating a more immersive experience.

My only complaint about the Quest is the comfort aspect, specifically the front-heaviness of the headset. However, this can be easily overcome with a few modifications. My two must haves are a front cover (can get a good one at VR Cover) and a counter-weight attached to the back of the headset.

The front cover provides extra cushioning for your face, allowing an even tighter fit without feeling uncomfortable. As for the counter-weight, you can buy one online or create a DIY one with stuff you got lying around.

Regardless of what you choose, a counter-weight works wonders since it counteracts the front heaviness by moving the center of mass to the top of your head. In my opinion, the Oculus Quest stands above all other VR headsets on the market in terms of bang for your buck.

It’s performance competes with other major headsets but the Quest’s untethered and versitile nature is it’s major selling point.

It is a great headset for the price. And the gaming ability is decent for what you get. It’s very comfortable and I had little to no issues with the build quality and experience. I had one since January 2016 and got a new one in August of 2019 because of how much I used it.

Not many people would need to worry about purchasing another one because they likely wouldn’t use it as much as I did. There were constant nights where we’d use it for 10+ hours and so we wore it down quite a bit.

It never broke, but the headset’s bit that lays on your forehead started to peel and I permanently smudged one of the lenses on accident, so I thought it was time to get a new one. Overall, this headset lasted me a LONG time and I had a blast living in the many VR worlds I experienced over the past few years.

I was very disappointed after buying a used VR headset from a local shop. The guy told me all it needed was a power cord. So I bought a power cord, it actually needed a processing unit and the power cord for the unit.

So $109 later I had everything I needed. I hooked it all up and the headset wouldnt even turn on. It was supposed to be my Christmas present Bc I always wanted a VR. Well when it didnt work my husband found me this listing and bought me this system.

It came with everything needed besides the motion controllers (which I already had from the used system). It was simple to set up and works great. Im so glad I didnt get him ripped off with another system.

I would definitely recommend this vr great for beginners to the virtual reality world.

As a Playstation fan, I decided to purchase the VR after postponing for nearly four years to play Resident Evil. The VR was unavailable during the beginning phase of the pandemic so I got lucky once they were in stock again with $100 off.

Compared to the Oculus, the VR has better graphics and the headset was more comfortable. Set up took about 30 minutes and the directions were easy to follow. However, the amount of cords that this thing has is the reason that I could not rate it with five stars.

You have to make sure that you are angled in front of the camera to ensure seamless gameplay. The Oculus is more user friendly and it’s easier to move around since it’s wireless. I decided to use the regular controller since I’m not a fan of the wands.

The aim controller was also worth it for games that are compatible.

I really didn’t think new PSVR bundles would be coming back around in 2022. but Best Buy comes thru again. When they showed back up last month, I couldn’t believe I could get the entire bundle for $100 off @ $249.

Using it with a ps4 pro (with SSD) and it works great. Lots of great content to be had and a lot of the disc games are cheap/used at retail. So far my favorite titles are Star Wars Squadrons (awesome arcade space fighter), Moss (cute 3D platformer) and No Man’s Sky (which is the full game in VR).

Really a lot of great titles and watching 3D movies (via BR or the Media player) is pretty cool as well. After a slow start VR is progressing nicely and I can’t wait to see what the next gen 4K masks will be capable of.

This was my 2nd VR purchase. I bought this PS4 VR bundle for my kid brother. It was an easy installation. The bundle included instructions, all of the necessary equipment, and a game. The bundle also included a converter for the PS5 to my surprise.

It is very easy to use and works well. I was happy to get this price considering a few months prior, the prices were nearly doubled, and it was hard to locate due to supply and Playstation focusing more on the PS5 sales.

There was a time that I laughed at the idea of an all in one VR headset. I’ve tried out the PS VR, the HTC Vive, and the Valve Index. All are fantastic, with great visuals, but they’re also all tethered to a console or a PC.

I didn’t think that the Quest 2 could honestly compete with them, so I never gave it much thought. But I also don’t have the room at the moment for a permanent or even semi-permanent VR setup, so after getting a few gift cards for Christmas, I decided to give the Quest 2 a shot.

I couldn’t be more pleasantly surprised and I’ll try to explain why. Graphically, its not going to be on par with the latest PC VR headsets, simply because they’ve got more memory and graphics power to play with that a PC does, but the Quest doesn’t look bad at all.

Some of the models are lower poly count, but they still look good and are pretty immersive, and thats the important part. That and the fact that you aren’t tethered to anything, since the Quest uses inside-out postional tracking.

There are no sensors to set up. You can take it anywhere, and play anywhere, which is a big plus for me. You just set up your safe play area (its basically a wall that the Quest warns you about if you get too near, so you don’t hit or run into anything when you’re playing.

The Quest actually remembers it too, so if you play in the same area like I do, you set it once and then don’t have to do anything except make sure the area is clear before you start playing. The headset is comfortable enough with the standard strap, although if you want to play for longer periods, you might want to change that up.

There are official straps as well as after market options. Audio quality is good too, even though there are any “headphones”. The audio is actually pumped through the plastic strap connectors toward your ears.

It’s a pretty ingenious solution actually, but it is an open system, so ambient noise is not blocked out. You can use a set of headphones though, as there is a 3. 5mm headphone jack on the side near the USB C charging port.

The handheld controllers are comfortable and sturdy, and use AA batteries. I was concerned that I would be going through a lot of batteries, as most VR controllers are rechargeable, but the batteries in the Quest controllers seem to last a long time (Almost a month and the original ones are still going strong for me) The headset itself is rechargeable, which limits the playtime, but I find that 2-3 hours of play time is more than enough for me.

I find I need a break around 1. 5-2 hours in anyway, but if you want more playtime between charges, there are battery pack options out there (Including the Elite Strap w/battery). The included charger takes about 2-2.

5 hours to completely charge the built in battery from empty to full. Finally, don’t think that buying the Quest is locking you into stand alone VR, as you can actually connect your headset to your PC with a link cable and use it as a PC VR headset, making it one of the best options for getting into VR.

While I hate to give Facebook credit (I refuse to call them Meta), I think the Quest 2 is great, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

The Oculus Quest 2 is a neat glimpse into the future bogged down by a plethora of issues. Privacy concerns withstanding – as Meta is aiming to monitor every movement and facial expression one makes whilst using the device – there are many practical problems with the design of the device itself.

It only has 3 different IPD settings, meaning that anyone whose IPD falls in between or outside of the presets will have an issue with blurring vision and an unclear image. This was a huge part of what I disliked about my experience with it, as it gave me significant headaches and visual distortion well after stopping use of the device.

For clarity’s sake, I used it for about 30 minutes at a time, once a day for a few days in a row. Many people tend to complain about feeling motion sickness when using these devices and while I did feel a little goopy in the gut, I didn’t enjoy the sensation of motion enough to get to where this was a serious issue for me.

I grew up playing video games regularly and still do occasionally, so it was entertaining to see how I could interact with games in a 3D space. That being said, none of the games felt very satisfying, and these days if I want to play a video game I certainly don’t want to be strapped into an uncomfortable near-eye projector to be fully engaged in the experience.

The headstrap is a well-documented nightmare and it’s absurd that they charge extra for a higher-quality one instead of changing out the one included. They finally added a silicone cover to the padding around the eyes after countless complaints about the foam irritating people’s skin, and I’m not surprised as it feels kind of like fine sandpaper to the touch.

What would have been the most relaxing experiences were dulled by low-resolution image quality (on a high-speed connection, no less) and in the case of multiplayer games, a disturbing amount of young players – well below the recommended age for using the device in the first place.

It’s a shame that parents don’t monitor their kids better to prevent this from happening and instead slap them into a device that will invariably detriment their developing sense of balance and spatial recognition.

Further still, it is disappointing that Facebook (now rebranded as Meta) has done so little to mitigate these issues. Ultimately, perhaps this product is merely not for me. However, I would recommend against it to anyone who is looking to use it for relaxation and absolutely insist that nobody use this for long periods as it can be dangerous – as is stated in the health and safety information included with the device.

I’m very impressed with this headset! I wrestled with whether to pay $100 more for double the storage capacity, but after perusing apps in the Oculus store and averaging app sizes, I determined there was too little value in that.

Down the road, if I get REALLY into VR in general, I might wind up regretting that decision, but I honestly think that would be the only thing I’d regret about this device. Oculus was experiencing some kind of server issue that prevented me from completing registration and setup right away, so it was about 4 hours after I unboxed it that I was able to use it.

And boy, was I blown away! I still have a VR headset that requires a phone be stuck in it, but I haven’t used it in a while for just that reason. This one, of course, doesn’t need that, and the resolution is really, really good.

Your IPD (Inter-pupillary distance), or the distance between your eyes, can be accommodated by selecting from 3 different widths. I read one review that said the maximum is 68mm, but their IPD was 72.

In that case, the image will appear blurry. For that reason, I suggest checking your IPD before you purchase. What’s in the box is simple, the headset, two controllers (with batteries), a spacer for those who wear glasses and a silicone piece that makes it comfortable to wear against your face.

It’s very well balanced and doesn’t feel heavy to me, but there are optional head straps you can get if you find it too front-heavy. I also like the passthrough feature that lets you see your real-world environment if/when you need to.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and immersiveness of the sound, but I will probably get some ear buds soon so I can get a fuller volume level (I usually have the volume on about 6-7). But it sounds great.

The ‘Home’ environment, which is set up like a house or apartment, is really cool, and there are several different designs available. I found the battery life, stated as about two hours, to be pretty accurate, but I bought a 10-foot USB cable so that I could have it plugged in and playing while it’s charging (yes, you can use it fully while it’s charging).

There is a head strap available with a place for an optional battery to extend use time without worrying about a cable, but that doesn’t seem necessary to me, at least not at this point. I just got done using it, and I was in VR for about 3 1/2 hours, and battery life was still 82%.

So far, I have used it for probably 20 hours total since I’ve had it, and the controller batteries are still at 100%. I’m sure that depends on what you’re doing, though. I have watched a couple of movies, and with the ability to have a curved screen (or flat if you prefer) that views even larger than my 60″ TV, it’s just amazing.

I’ve also played a few games, watched some videos of dancers, concerts, and awesome, immersive tours of places like Switzerland, Italy, the Matterhorn, Great Lakes, under-sea stuff and so many more. All of it has been awesome.

And so far, I have found enough good, free content that I haven’t gotten around to purchasing anything yet! Another effective feature is the voice control. You can do almost anything using voice commands, including powering the device off.

I haven’t explored that feature too deeply yet, but I have started and stopped apps and games, checked local time and weather and performed several other functions just by telling it what I want. You just double-press the ‘Oculus’ button to get it to listen for voice commands One complaint I know many will have, is that setting up the device REQUIRES a Facebook account.

BUT, you can set it so that your FB profile info, including your profile name, will not be revealed in VR if you happen to do some multi-person thing, and neither is your Oculus username revealed to your FB contacts, so that doesn’t bother me at all.

The only thing I wish, and this is so minor it’s really almost petty, but I do wish it came in black. That isn’t even worth deducting stars over. Overall, I just love it, and I highly recommend it!.

The graphics and mechanics of the game worked well. It’s a beautiful environment and does require some strategy during encounters with enemies. The AIM controller would often loose tracking so I’d have to shake it every couple of minutes to get it to line up in the virtual screen.

That got annoying very quickly. While I did find the story interesting in the beginning, it seemed to fall apart at the end – making the desire to replay it much less than I wanted. It can be fun to play if you just want good looking environment to shoot in, but HALO it is not!.

Lot of wires to hook up devices. Once you get used to adjusting the helmet and movement with camera, the experience gets better. Helmet is a little heavy for the bridge of my nose and causes sinus passage to close.

Once these issues are overcome, the experience gets better. The VR Helmet takes gaming to a higher level. With 3-D graphics, controller use gets better. After motion sickness settles, gaming becomes rad.

I give the VR System two thumbs up. and recommend it to those that are becoming bored with 2-D gaming.

A good attempt at taming VR technology. Provides quite an immersive experience and allows to feel yourself as really in the game. Have a few reservations though. Like with other VR games the resolution of VR is limited so picture quality is not as great as one would like to.

Seems like a step back from HD age. Also even though compared to some other games the calibration is quite good (some games couldn’t play for more than a couple of minutes) – it is still hard to play for long stretches of time due to eye and head fatigue.

But if you have VR already its well worth a try.

Wow. With a certain plumber lacking his platforming charm recently this is a welcome addition. For its first full game and on VR this lol astro bot really leaves u wanting more. The fame is short and simple with a slight replay value.

There isn’t much reward or sense of achievement with the game being rather simple but the ideas are superb. The VR experience is fab. I really hope they build on this and make the next installment more challenging using the same ideas and fresh ideas.

There is plenty that can be done with what is there though. It feels more like a taster of what’s to come!! Kids love it too.

So I just purchased a PSVR, and went looking for a good game to go with it. I had tried some of my other games that came with a VR mode included, specifically, Resident Evil 7. The VR mode in that made me sick.

So when I saw this game was highly reviewed, I picked it up with hopes that it would be good. I was so impressed with the level of detail and creativity Sony Japan put into this. I paid full price ($40) for it, and I am totally satisfied with it.

Astrobot is great for kids and adults.

This is Vr at its very best! The incredible graphics and dreamlike design made me feel like an excited kid again! The gameplay is flawless and offers so many new gameplay experiences it makes you want to see the next level so much! Astrobot character is fantastic too, as are the huge boss battles.

The levels have so much variety between them with huge scale and superb music – this magnificent 3d platform even outshines Super Mario!!.

This Aim Controller for the PSVR is so awesome to use in the games that are compatible!! It gives you a completely different/better experience while using the VR system!! Its really accurate when using the ADS (aim down sight) in whatever game your playing and is very lightweight.

As for the the game, Horizon Zero Hour, itself, it’s so awesome/fun to play. Between using the Aim Controller and the VR it literallymakes you feel like your one in the game playing! It’s so awesome/fun to use!! I’d highly recommend this bundle to anyone and everyone who likes playing 1st person shooter games and has a PSVR system! And Best Buy by far had the best price for the bundle, that could find, then anyone else at the time when i purchased it.

Great bundle, Firewall is a fantastic game to get into with PSVR (Think Rainbow Six type gameplay with the AIM controller) but there are minor things to consider before making the investment into the AIM controller.

– There is a VERY selected number of games that utilize the AIM controller (I’m talking a little over 20 but that’s small with the PSVR catalog of around 500 games). That being said most of the games are pretty good that you do get.

Firewall is obviously a staple but Farpoint, Borderlands VR, Arizona Sunshine, DOOM VFR are all very fun solid games to play. – Controller drift has been an ongoing issue and it feels like you have to make a lot of special accommodations to have it working right without drift (youtube has a lot of videos on it).

I still get a little drift even with the accommodations and just have to live with it. Tracking is not always on point and it can get very frustrating mid game. But I’ve heard from others that they don’t have the issue so I guess it’s just temperamental.

LUCKILY the PSVR will work with the PS5 so it still has value even if you’re upgrading. I’m hoping that we’ll get more quality AIM games soon but they seem far and few between. TLDR: Fun with the select amount of games it works with but has issues with tracking sometimes.

The controller is fun to use with the PSVR for games such as Doom VFR, Borderlands 2 VR, and several other FPS games. In my opinion these games are best played with this controller. I feel the price is a bit high due to the limited amount of games it works with.

For the PS3 move they had a similar device that I used for games like Resident Evil 5 but it was a plastic gun shell and you inserted the move controller and the navigation controller. It had only one analog stick from the navigation move controller but it worked perfectly for me.

I feel we should have had the same option for the PSVR since using the navigation controller would have helped a lot in almost all the games since the standard is using two move controllers with no analog.
