Buzz baits are a type of bait typically used to fish for bass. They usually consist of a metal or plastic blade attached to a fishing line, which is then cast into the water. The blade creates a buzzing sound as it moves through the water, which can attract bass.
A truly unique bait, the Pond Magic spinnerbait from Booyah features a hand-selected color and blade combination to match the forage base of smaller waters. Small in size by spinnerbait standards, it’s certainly not short on features, including the 60-strand, ultra-fine silicone skirt that produces a tantalizing waving action.
Tandem blades also offer optimal water displacement and increased attraction. Equipped with a premium Mustad hook for reliable hook sets.
The Booyah Buzz Bait is well-balanced and rides the surface well whether in calm or windy conditions. The ‘clacker’ gives off vibrations and noise that increases the strike zone as it ‘calls’ out to the fish.
I have successfully caught both large bass and northerns with this bait. I believe this ‘clacker’ separates this buzz bait from all its competitors. My only suggestion to Booyah would be to ‘close’ the metal lead onto which one ties line.
Big northerns can inhale the whole bait and with their sharp teeth can cause ‘bite offs’. I purchased a spool of pliable wire and wound an inch or two of this wire around this area of the lure, creating a closed metal area.
I attach 6″ to 9″ steel leaders. The lure still works like a charm but with no bite offs. After catching a few big northerns (>30″) the lure may need a ‘tune-up’. Using needle-nosed pliars, I adjust the lure so that the blade wire is always parallel to the lower hook wire.
Needless to say, I have caught more fish and bigger fish since making this lure a must-cast bait on every trip out.
Big northern pike were in the area. I put on the (black) Booyah Buzz Bait w/clapper and it was no contest. Photos captured a 38″ beast and at least 6 others that broke the 30″ mark. The Booyah runs true and high in the water, rattles and clangs until the pike crunch it, and performs cast after cast.
My only alteration was using NO-LEAD wire (. 035 oz) to close off the metal tip of the bait. I use at least 6″ steel leaders and the closed tip really helps. Add a stinger hook if they are biting short and you have a surface bait that takes a back seat to no other.
A tip is to check the alignment of the horizontal metal bars of the lure. Along with the head, the metal bars must all be parallel. After a few big pike, these can get a bit skewed. A needle-nose pliar’s adjustment and it again runs true.
I have one plastic bait box filled with each color and size of this killer bait. Mr. Pike doesn’t have a chance.
Just caught a 40” pike on this guy. I almost never throw spinnerbaits but i decided to try and become more familiar with them and I ended up catching my PR pike. Do yourself a favor and get one already.
I was using the firetiger color on a lake in upstate NY, the water clarity was very clear and i was retrieving at a medium pace about a foot below the surface above weedy cover, water depth was approx.
5 feet. I am happy that the spinnerbait suffered no damage despite a rough fight. I am going to order more this bait is great. If you liked this review, please hit the “yes” button to encourage others to have more thorough reviews.

The Booyah Buzz Buzzbait is available in 4 colors and 3 weights.
The votes are in. Not texas style. This is the best topwater lure humans have ever made. Trust me. Ask anyone. Let’s drain the swamp and then refill it with hungry bass who all love me. Though your tackle box may have the best lures, the greatest lures, this will still reign supreme.
Don’t be a loser. Buy this for yourself or a friend today.
This lure is amazing! Absolutely spectacular, glides smoothly in the water and can be worked however you want! As if it can’t get any better the fish are very gentle when they bite it trying to make sure it’s not damaged which is different for the Biden one because the first fish I caught tore it up instantly, bass just have common sense.
The fish i have seen caught with this are very big. I heard lots of fake news surrounding this lure but even though it was made in China it was great. The ratings were not very huge on this but it still performed great.
So recently one of my buddies gave me this and to try it out I went fishing and I caught a couple bass so not only does it catch fish but it is also Biden and you can talk politics all you want I’m blue so overall funny lure that can catch some fish.
Small on size but big on action, the Strike King Mini Pro Buzz is a scaled-down version of Strike King’s popular Buzz King Buzzbait. Perfect for lighter tackle, the Strike King Mini Pro Buzz delivers a strong surface disturbance and a bite-sized presentation that bass are more apt to attack when they’re feeding lighter.
Designed using top-of-the-line components, the Strike King Mini Pro Buzz employs a pop-rivet collar, a super-bright buzz blade, and extra soft skirting that all work together to give the Strike King Mini Pro Buzz the same effectiveness as its big brother.
Backed by a razor-sharp long shank hook, the Strike King Mini Pro Buzz is a must-have bait anytime bass aren’t responding to regular-sized buzzbaits.
This is my go-to lure for stream smallmouth. I fish a small river/large creek; this is the best shallow water lure. Slow it down keep it just under the surface for a change up. Another great tactic is to cast it downstream and bring it up slowly, just fast enough to stay on top.
I know a downstream presentation isn’t supposed to be good. But I think since it’s moving so slowly relative to the bottom, it drives them wild. I have caught smallmouth, largemouth, rock bass, bluegill, crappie, pike (not in Ohio) & channel cats on this.
I recently downsized my 1/4 ou. buzzbait to this Strike King 1/8 ou. single-blade black buzzbait and the largemouth were crushing it. Sometimes it’s necessary to go smaller. I can’t imagine a better single-blade 1/8 ou.
buzzbait. Runs terrific, and you’re NOT going to beat Walmart’s price.
Imagine stopping your buzzbait right next to that stump and letting it float there, then twitching and shaking it to entice a big bass to strike. Or, how about retrieving your buzzbait with slow twitches and subtle movements when fish are especially finicky? Or, throwing a buzzbait on top of the slop or over wood cover and working it out with no snags? From the company that brought anglers the Jitterbug and the Hula Popper, two legendary topwater lures, comes the totally unique the Arbogast Buzz Plug, a near weedless floating buzzbait with built-in action.
With a normal constant “buzzbait” retrieve, the Buzz Plug waggles side-to-side in a swimming motion, and when paused, the nose and blade lifts out of the water and perfectly positions the upturned double hook for sure hooksets.
This same front-end rise allows the angler to slap the water by twitching the rod tip, and the double upturned hook is nearly weedless, allowing anglers to throw it onto sloppy weedbeds or into heavy cover and bring it back without snagging.
The Arbogast Buzz Plug comes in six color patterns.
Just got back from God’s Lake in Manitoba. When we ran into productive weedy areas we let the Northern Pike smash 1. 25 oz. Buzz Plugs. The Rat Color was most effective for all 12 of us in the party.
The black buzz plug was super for dark mornings and the one rainy day we had. When we tired of catching 38-40″ Northern Pike on Rat Buzz Plugs we would switch to the Perch Color. Unbelievable action.
Arguably I boated 35 Northerns on these very durable Buzz Plugs. Last year we had problems with the double hook being pulled out by the Pike. We corrected this with a large split ring around the base making it practicably impossible for the fish to pull the hooks through the bodies eyelet; and then had no trouble at all this year.
The 12 of us didn’t loose one set of hooks on this trip using the split ring alteration. Arbogast ought to consider providing this hook saving feature in the factory. I am going to try the Buzz Plugs this spring on Lake Okeechobee in and around the lily pads.
Should be interesting; although the Buzz Plugs are not entirely weedless; if handled sensibly they do a good job in and over the weedy areas. Best thing Arbogast has produced since the Jitterbug. BiffPike.
I prefer the smaller Jr size over the larger size. It will be great to use in finesse fishing times. I am definitely pleased with my choice. I’d recommend the lure to the top water anglers out there.
I bought two and gave them a try on a prime day in a private 6 acre lake when 2-5 pound bass were taken every few minutes. I had repeated short strikes but nothing hooded. A large Hula Popper or conventional 1/2 oz.
buzz bait dressed with 3 inch curly tail outperformed the Buzz Plug ten to one. I finally changed the hooks to a skirted single and added a curly tail and had success. The Buzz Plug certainly attracts big bass, but something is missing on the “got you” end.
It appears the dual hook used folds over the body when struck allowing the fish to go unhooked.
High energy meets topwater mayhem in the Strike King Swinging Sugar Buzz. Like a kid on candy, this supercharged buzzbait makes a ton of noise and is constantly on the move—provoking strikes from the moment it hits the water.
The surface-churning prop creates a loud clacking sound, while the free-swinging skirted hook waves wildly back and forth throughout the retrieve. The Strike King Swinging Sugar Buzz generates more action than most bass can stand, and the jointed design helps keep those hooked fish hooked! Great at any speed.
bought 3 of these; they cast like a bullet (1/2 ounce model). the blade clicks the weight ahead of the swing hook, but I bent the shaft slightly to stop that. Can use either way. Blade large enough to fish slowly over cover; I use a trailer hook with it.
Well this is one sweet buzzbait!! With its free swinging hook you can add soft plastic of your choice and it will not dampen the sound or vibration of the buzzbait! That’s so important. this also allows you buzzbait to have a large profile in the water!!! It’s the third week in March and I’m already smoken the bass on this bait!!!.
Used this bait all week caught several fish on it bed fishing in grassy areas. Works well in grass and runs just below surface slow or up on top fast like a buzz bait. I caught most of my fish fishing it like a spinner bait just below surface puts off a ton of vibration.
The War Eagle Buzzbaits are fast becoming favorites with top pros across the Country. They feature a specially designed flat keel head that allows them to quickly rise to the surface and get on plane.
The War Eagle Buzzbaits also feature blades in a variety of colors, including prism blades for maximum flash. The blades kick up a bubble trail fish can’t resist and put off an instant squeaking that drives them crazy.
Also equipped with custom slip-on skirts, light wire for better vibration, and super sharp Mustad Ultra Power Point Hooks, the War Eagle Buzzbaits churn up the competition.
These War Eagle buzzbaits have very cheap metal made over seas. They will not last more than 8 hours of use. I bought half a dozen a month ago and ever one of them is junk. Called there headquarters to get more.
can’t even buy them. There made over seas with no possibility of replacements. JUNK and waste of money.
I have tried these buzzbiats multiple times and always have the same results. If you throw this buzzbait all day long, the blade will break right by the bend and keeper collar. The blade material that loops over the shaft on the backside is extremely thin and wears through.
On the other side of the coin. I agree that these buzzbaits run great in the water, and catch fish, but who wants to pay for bait that only last a day, when other baits on the market you can fish many days without wearing them out.
Usually, you lose a bait before it wears out. Again, this isn’t a one time shot. I’ll bet I’ve burned through at least 6 of these baits, just hoping that I just bought a bad one, and they’ve all failed in the same spot.
I definitely wouldn’t buy these until War Eagle fixes their design flaw.
The Googan Squad Hummer will create a buzz the second it hits the water. The Hummer is a Googan Squads take on the classic buzzbait. Each Hummer features a free-spinning propeller blade that puts off the look, feel, and sound needed to call in the fish.
Every Googan Squad Hummer has the bait’s weight painted to the head for easy identification. The Googan Squad Hummer has slotted holes stamped into each blade for an increased surface disturbance. A hand-tied rubber skirt is clinched around an ultra-sharp Mustad hook adding to the Hummer’s liveliness.
And finally, to help prevent dreaded line slippage, each Googan Squad Hummer is topped off with a rubber band line keeper.
I love my Googan squad hummer. I prefer it over any other top water bait I use. I like the size of the hook it’s perfect for basically any trailer. I have tried it with a dark colored fluke and I caught a decent one on it.
The sound is also amazing. I have struggled for three weeks to catch bass because the community lake I fish is severely over fished. We have so many people fishing their because they can’t afford to buy a bass boat to go fish on lake Lanier.
I have tried bank fishing on lake Lanier but have not caught anything. So right now this hummer has been the only thing I have caught a fish on.
Not gonna lie…. after years of heavy buzz air abuse I got clean and switched to the Plopper style baits (can we take a second to reflect on the magnificence that is the Revolver!?). Butttt I picked up a pile of these Hummers in my quest for big pike and they do not disappoint.
One of the best buzzbaits I’ve seen in regards to getting up on plane quickly And LOUD!!! Squeak chop squeak chop squeak chop! It’s a little early here for too water but I’ve been dabbling. Very pleased with the Hummer.
First time using the hummer I’m black I caught this beautiful pike, who came up and exploded on it! The pike bent the lure abit but the material it’s made of made it simple and easy to put it back to normal.
Already bought the white color. The sound it makes in the water is incredible and the hookup ratio is great. The hummer is easily the first lure I throw in tournaments.
Offering a unique blend of squeakin’ and spittin’ action, the Strike King Buzz King Buzzbait tempts bass at the surface with a presentation that is not only attractive, but incredibly functional as well.
Built using a big tri-wing blade, the Strike King Buzz King Buzzbait produces a tremendous spray and a distinct squeaking sound that is too interesting for bass to pass up. The tri-blade design also provides increased resistance, which allows the Strike King Buzz King Buzzbait to be fished at a slower speed, so anglers can focus in on strike zones and ambush points.
Designed with a Diamond Dust head & Diamond Dust skirt as well, the Strike King Buzz King Buzzbait has a streamlined profile that helps it get on plane quickly and slip through cover with ease. Offered in a number of classic bass colors, the Strike King Buzz King Buzzbait gives anglers a strong surface disruption that bass will kneel before.
I have been fishing this buzz bait for over 20 yrs. I caught my largest bass on it. I use the buzz King Jr in spring and the buzz King during the summer. It can be fished slow or fast with less effort.
I use white and chartreuse and white with an old style flat spitting traile and dip the tips. This buzz bait has saved many trips and put many 2 to 7lbs bass in the boat.
buzz baits are at their very best when they are retrieved as slow as possible, most of the time. that is certainly when you will catch your biggest bass. this bait goes is the best slow bait there is; however, it comes with some disadvantages.
first, the three wing design means that is cast poorly in the wind, the blades are softer than some so can be bent. hard to recover from that. finally, pretty light. i can manage it on my extra long flippin rods that have some flex and 30 lb.
braid. a trailer, especially one that has a straight body, helps casting if you need more weight.
got it in white, buzzbait are a simple design but I wanted to test the multiple blade ones. I was not disappointed this thing catch fish, you can alternate between models if you feel there’s no bites happening.
The Strike KIng Deuce plus features the exclusive Z-Man perfect skirt with the Magic Tail trailer serves as a trailer and provides extra action to the skirt. The Deuce also has twin counter rotating blades that create extra lift allowing it to track straight at slower speeds.
This also causes the water to spray outwards making a lot of hawg calling commotion on top. The Deuce also comes with a pre-rigged Sabre point trailer hook, making this bait ready to fish right out of the package.
I’ve used this lure for nine years now, and the results and the thrill of the catch is as powerful now as it was back then. I was taken by surprise to learn that this item will be discontinued, as to me and I’m sure thousands of others we would hope that it is not discontinued.
It has always been a sure winner pulling in the bass, and this buzzzbait attracts large fish, always a nice fish Ive fished with many a friend, family member, etc and they all have seen for themselves how productive this lure is.
I picked this up with summer in mind. I’m from the PNW and thought a louder bait would attract them more. The double bladed chatter did not do that. It makes for it a high pitch chatter sence it has 2 small blades.
The single bladed chatter baits have worked better in the PNW for me cause it has more of a thumping noice.
I have been using these for years. I have caught a lot of fish with these. A good trail hook comes on them and they usually perform good out of the pack. But this year I have had two break off just behind the head.
One of them I hadn’t thrown but a couple of times and the other I had fished for an hour or so. They are a litlle pricey but I usually use these when I want a quieter approach and use a small size. I haven’t missed many fish on these.
But of course there will always be fish that hit behind the bait and you will miss em.
Weeds are up. Should you use a buzzbait, or a frog? How about both! The War Eagle Buzz Toad Buzzbait starts with the top buzzbait on tour, and comes pre-rigged with a YUM Tip Toad. 100% ready to fish, it’s 2 awesome bait actions in one, ideal for flicking the edges, skittering over the mats, easing into pockets, and burning to escape.
Its unique cone-shaped keeper provides 360 of holding power with no gluing required, so the kicking action stays true and the bait is always in place.
This buzz bait is realy super. Runs strait. I put. Rage toad on them and a z man. TOAD hard leg the. Frog. Floats. Super killer when you dead stick the toad. The unit. Floats. Bass can’t stand it when you dead stick set the hook.
Wanted to try a buzztoad so I tried 3 from Strike King, Bass Pro and the War Eagle. Results: the BP road didn’t track well. The Strike King is head heavy. The War Eagle tracks very straight, comes up quickly.
My 1st cast with caught me a 6-13. My next trip a 6-4 and numerous 4 & 5lb bass. Results do not lie. I throw the black body and the gold blade. I haven’t tried the silver blade. Zoom makes replacement frog bodies.
I specifically purchased this lure for my trip to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to fish for bass and pike fishing through lily pads and over the tops of weed beds. Within my first 5 casts I caught a decent 28″ pike then followed that up with a few more smaller pike then got a 32″ musky along with a couple of lost fish & this happened over a 20 minute time span.
I continued to catch pike in the following days on different lakes that I had never fished before. The pike bent the bait up a little but a little bending it back in place & it ran great. Only issue I had was is that I didn’t bring along more white Zoom Toads to replace the one that the pike were tearing up.
Pick up this Strike King Buzzbait to help you land the big one on your next fishing trip. It features holes in the blades to create a gurgle-type noise to and leave a bubble trail on the surface. This action and sound resembles that of a fish in distress and can be detected easily by hungry fish.
The exclusive grass cone keeps the blade clear of obstructions. It sports a bright red long-shank hook with blood trail coloring highlights on the head and skirt to trigger monster strikes. This Bleeding Elite fishing buzzbait will make an ideal addition to your tackle box, whether you are a beginner or advanced angler.
This bait has been producing more nighttime bass for me for years. Has a great squeal unlike any other baits I’ve tried. Rubber weed guard works very well at preventing the blades fr getting clogged in even the heaviest cover.
If your a nighttime bass fisher I highly recommend adding these to your tackle.
This buzz bait gets and stays on surface extremely well and makes nice chatter. Nailed the bass and Pike but a thick 28 inch Pike totally destroyed the wires. I tried to bend it back but action just wasn’t right after.
Bought the Bleeding Black for some night fishing. Just got home after 15 bass all 2-5 lbs. Crimp the keeper from spinning and cup the blades a little and it creates a unique squeel and sloshing sound that the bass could not handle.
I even caught the same bass 3 times on 5 casts within 5 minutes. It had a unique line across the top of its mouth so i know it was the same one.
Bass and bass fisherman alike can’t resist the Booyah Counter Strike Buzz. These awesome buzzbaits feature two counter-rotating buzz blades that are plated for extra flash and make a distinct noise bass can’t NOT hear.
A unique triangle-shaped head helps this bait plane quickly to the surface and cut through heavy cover like it’s nothing. The colors and finely-detailed scales are created through a multi-step painting process and match the silicone skirt of the Booyah Counter Strike Buzz impeccably.
This was my first buzzbait lure (limesicle). Tried it out in a deep creek off the Saugeen River in South-western Ontario and had muskies and smallies hitting it like crazy (almost every 3rd cast), only landed one big bass though before losing the lure to a snag later that day.
I immediately bought another and added a trailer hook to it, which I hope will help the fish stay hooked. Keep you posted. Love this lure.
The lure gets on the surface quickly and effortlessly. The only problem I had with the lure is that it consistently runs to the left when retrieved. I tried multiple times to adjust (bend the wire) to compensate and I think it got a little better but still goes to the left.
If it retrieved straight, or if I had been able to adjust it to make it retrieve straight, the lure would have gotten a 5 Star rating. I’m still a fan of Booyah buzzbaits and spinnerbaits and will continue to purchase them.
First time using it, fourth cast in the morning an BAM!! 5. 2 lb LM. Trolled around the point and BAM!! 4. 10 LM. Caught several other pounders too. This thing is great. I did add a trailer hook to mine, wish they came with one.
SKU 27240872-You can see Kevin VanDam’s influence in every aspect of the Strike King KVD Toad Buzz. This high-action topwater bass killer has been tweaked and fine-tuned by the master himself, until its size, weight and profile are perfect according to his lofty standards.
The combination of a surface-splitting wire-form buzzbait and Strike King’s hard-kicking KVD Perfect Plastic Gurgle Toad is likely to prove just as deadly on your home water as in Kevin’s tourney venues.
Used this a few times over weed beds and around pads. Caught some nice pike. I was fishing in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan and had a mammoth hit. The soft bait was lacerated in several spots. The river and is loaded with muskie and pike.
I love this buzzbait. Quality made since they started making buzzbaits. Still have some that my dad gave me 15 years ago that still catch big bass! And still work great. Will never buy a different brand buzzbait ever.
Lunker lure is the best!!! My favorite lure by far.
The Lunker Lure was invented here in southern Illinois in the mid to late l960’s. Not too far down the road from where I live. In my opinion it is different from other buzzbaits in that it surfaces very quickly and can be retrieved at a very slow pace (if desired).
It has a considerably larger blade than some other lures of this type. Actually, I would rate it a 10!!.
I’ve used other buzz baits throughout the years but none have come close to making the same amount of noise as this brand. It’s 100% worth your money and they last a long time too as a bonus.
Designed by 3-time BASSMASTER Classic qualifier Lee Bailey Jr. the MegaStrike Cavitron Buzzbait offers top-notch performance that’s trusted by many pros on the BASSMASTER Elites and FLW tournament trail.
It’s built end-to-end right in the USA with the highest quality USA materials but the real key is the precision gold anodized Cavitron Prop blade. This aluminum blade is treated to create more ionization in the water and help make the Cavitron the loudest squeakiest Buzzbait around.
What’s more the blade also features 4 holes to capture as much air as possible while rotating on the surface creating a big bubble trail and offering quicker turning at a much slower rate of retrieve and making the Cavitron ”The slowest Buzzbait EVER!” The patented ”STEALTH” body and oxbow bend design allows the bait to ride deeper in the water to deliver more strikes with a high-quality Gamakatsu hook to ensure solid hook-ups.
Really like this buzzmait. I can retrieve it slowly, or burn it to make a ton of commotion. I love to fish buzz baits under the right conditions, and this has given me a great tool for those awesome topwater strikes.
This is the only buzzbait I’ll throw and for good reason. The perforated blade keeps it in the strike zone longer and it just runs so consistently for me.
Fishing with buzz bomb is definitely one of the most famous and trusted ways to catch salmon, trout, walleye, pike, and even bass. One of the most iconic and patented shapes, the Buzz Bomb is your golden ticket for catching huge fish like salmon, lake trout, and all species in deep as well as shallow waters.
Just match your size to bait fish size and depth. All Buzzbomb Tackle products are made in Canada by hand – hand cast, hand painted and hand packaged in Courtenay BC Canada. The iconic sonic lure mimics vibrations conveyed by wounded baitfish and attracts predatory fish.
It is a simple set up that reduces the need for any additional tackle and is hugely popular with non-motorized fishing and kids, as well as the most seasoned angler.
I swear by the buzz bomb. Its worked for me catching Steelhead in a chilly river in the Pacific Northwest. Its helped me catch Salmon on a regular basis in the Pacific. Now i live in Hawaii its helped me catch fish here.
Omilu (Bluefin travally) and I believe Lai (leatherback). I will always purchase this product. – my lures have always been on backorder. Can u please stock up. It takes a long time.
Just find a bait ball ball and buzz away. You drop jig then reel simple to do once you know wat h the video from buzz bombs and see how they do it. It’s made in Canada as well not from china. The zingers fall in the water faster the buzz.
You can cast them jig jig reel reel that’s the way to do it fish strike on the drop and you don’t want slack line.
One of the few really good castable lures that work for salmon from shore. Most salmon lures are too light to cast any distance, but these have enough weight to really chuck a long way. Their streamlined shape makes them fly really far.
When I lived in Washington state, they worked great on kings, pinks, and silvers (coho). Chrome for the kings, hot pink for the pinks, perch for the silvers. Smear them with a little herring or shrimp flavored Smelly Jelly.
Cast it out, let it fall to the depth you want to fish, then retrieve it with sweeping motions. Hold the rod horizontally, and lift the tip about 2 feet. Then lower it and reel in on the fall to keep a tight line.
They won’t hang on long, so you want to be able to feel the pickup. Don’t lift the rod tip to the 12 o’ clock position, because fish usually strike just as the fall begins or ends. If they hit at the top, you want to have enough leverage to set the hook.
Since the body of the lure is not fixed, it’s possible for it to slide up the line when you jig it. If that happens, when the fish hits the hook might not be close enough to the fish to get a good hookset.
To fix this, when you tie on, put a bumper both above and below, and tie a swivel about 6″ above the top of the lure. This will keep the hook close and won’t impede the action. Happy fishing!.
The Strike King Tour Grade Buzzbait is a tournament ready topwater built to take on big bass. Built around a Gamakatsu hook, the Tour Grade buzzbait has all the features needed in a high-quality topwater lure.
The baits skirt puts off a tasty look to bass chasing below the surface and it’s loud blade will help call in fish from a distance. Fish the Strike King Tour Grade Buzzbait around shallow vegetation and docks with a moderate to fast retrieve.
Start winding right as the bait hits the water to keep it from sinking below the surface. If fish are swiping at the buzzbait but not getting hooked, add a trailer hook for an increased hook up ratio.
MegaStrike’s Cavitron BuzzBait was designed by 3-time BASSMASTER Classic Qualifier Lee Bailey, Jr. The unique combination of the precision red anodized Cavitron Prop, the patented “STEALTH” body and oxbow bend allows Cavitron to slowly crawl across the Surface.
The Cavitron blades were designed to capture as much air as possible while rotating on the surface. It is this capturing of air that allows the Cavitron blade to turn quicker (with less friction) at a much slower rate of retrieve.
It is this aspect of Cavitron that makes it so unique from others. MegaStrike Cavitron is “The slowest Buzzbait EVER!”.
STRIKE KING BANSHEE BUZZBAIT The Strike King Banshee screams for attention as soon as it hits the water. Thanks to its painted buzz blade, the Banshee begs to be noticed, sending massive vibrations through the water as it swims.
The addition of the Perfect Skirt gives it enticing, undulating action that mimics the real thing and triggers strikes. The Strike King Banshee Buzzbait has the features you need to make your line stand out from the competition.

While there are many different types of lures that can be used to catch bass, buzz baits are one of the most popular choices. These lures can be used in a variety of ways and are often very effective at attracting fish.
Buzz baits usually consist of a small piece of metal or plastic that is attached to a hook. The lure is then cast into the water and retrieved in a jerking motion, which causes the piece of metal or plastic to buzz or vibrate.
This action often resembles the movement of a small insect or other type of baitfish, which can trigger a bass’ predatory instincts.
Buzz baits can be used in both deep and shallow water, and are often most effective when retrieved quickly. These lures can be worked across the surface of the water or allowed to sink down to the bottom.
Many anglers will use buzz baits in areas where there is heavy vegetation, as the lure is often able to penetrate through the weeds and reach the fish. Buzz baits can also be used around docks, piers, and other structures where bass are known to congregate.
One of the great things about buzz baits is that they can be used in a variety of different ways to create different effects. For example, adding a trailer to the hook can make the lure swim in a different manner and can also add a bit of extra weight, which can be helpful in getting the lure down to the fish.
Experimenting with different types of buzz baits and trailers is a great way to find out what works best in different situations.
While buzz baits are often very effective at catching bass, it is important to remember that no lure is guaranteed to work all the time. The best way to increase your chances of success is to fish around areas where bass are known to be active and to keep trying different techniques until you find something that works.
