20 Best Canvas Wall Tent (2022 Updated)

This is a great wall tent. We set it up and water tested it for 3 days and it works great. The Aluminum frame is wonderfull and everthing came with storage bags including the tent and all made from the same canvas.

It appears to be a lighter canvas maybe a 10 0z. or so. We will be using a stove when needed and it has a jack set up in the roof and the rear window does have a screen. We will be using it for Elk hunt base camp this year.

Maybe this spring we can do beach camping and fishing on the gulf coast with the girls. There are no reviews anywhere on the web for this tent, I know I looked hard. It is great and we love it. I would like to buy another one soon.

I do not see how other tents could be that much better, I could have bought any model, we wanted a canvas wall tent at a reasonable price with out puffery, we’ve had all the others. This is a very nice tent.

Upon opening the box I immediately noticed that the tent pole bag had a large tear at one end. It was obvious this was due to improper handling during shipment and no fault to Springbar. I contacted Springbar that evening and within minutes received a confirmation that a new tent bag was on the way.

Fully covered by the warranty. Outstanding service! Thank you! My wife and I set the Classic Jack 100 up in the backyard the night after we received it. Very easy to setup. Make sure the rods that are inserted into the four sleeves are inserted all the way into the T-bar.

Mine was not fully seated at one corner and when the side pole was lifted to raise the tent, the hole in the T-bar was slightly enlarged. While annoying, the T-bar is still perfectly functional. The family slept in the tent on a somewhat humid night and inside the tent was not stuffy at all like you get with most synthetic tents.

Another annoyance of mine with synthetic tents is the noise generated on a windy night. Not so with the Springbar. We heard nothing more than the ruffle of the canvas. We have yet to test the tent out in a rainstorm, so I can’t say much there.

The attached awning is nice and sturdy when guyed out correctly. I would however highly recommend the optional portico which I did purchase. I can see that being extremely useful during inclement weather.

The only negative I have to offer is it would be nice to enclose the area created with the awning and portico so gear could be left outside under some additional cover.

I’m impressed. I was pleased with a few surprises. 1st, the access port with zipper was not on any of the videos I’ve seen. I almost went with the Kodiak Cabin just for that feature! 2nd, the spring loaded buttons on either side of the roof pole sleeve is nice.

All the videos just say to slide the sleeve equally (centered) over the roof pole joint. The Kodiak flex-bow seems to have one spring loaded button that seats into a recess hole in the roof pole. I was concerned about securing the sleeve, and was pleased to see the two spring loaded buttons on either side of the sleeve to secure its position.

3rd, the Kodiak Flex-bow requires the T-Poles for the roof be positioned with the knobs pointing down. I like not having to worry about that. The overall quality is better than I expected, and I expected a lot.

Very pleased, great product. The only suggestion I have is. if the Portico was made out of matching canvas, I would have purchased one.

This Tent is high quality canvas and heavy duty stakes. Our first night in it, we were hammered by hail and heavy rain for hours. It stayed water tight with no issues. The only drawback is it does not come with a bag for storage and is quite large even when compressed and folded.

We found a XL waterproof duffle bag that works awesome but cost $120. I will be ordering the new version of the wall enclosure for the awning section as we will be using this tent for years to come. It is well worth the price tag.

This is a great tent. I’ve had mine through two elk seasons and two deer. This think has been through feet of snow, Lots of rain, Extreme high wind (everyone else had pop up tents and we had a few canopies.

Every single tent and pop up canopy were destroyed. I. e collapsed with broken tent poles and broken frames on the canopies. ) , warm weather and extreme cold -20 F°. It held up absolutely perfect. The one downfall is that it doesn’t have a hole to put in a camp stove.

I use a mr. Heater that’s safe indoors and it cooks me out of the tent. I would absolutely recommend this tent for anyone. I also bought the walls for the front awning It works great as well and was up during all of the above mentioned times.

The MESA is the best tent I have ever purchased. 4 years ago my family and I went on an advantage and this tent allowed us to help someone in need. While in the mountains a set of teenagers were camping and got lost.

For an overnight stay until morning we pulled them in and gave them a very warm place to stay for the night. “Roomy” was the word. It was four of us plus the young strangers. The space was enough for EVERYONE to be comfortable in a semi awkward situation.

We had enough food in the Orka cooler to share (another amazing camping tool). The 50 watt Goal Zero solar panels kept all the important things charged. Unfortunately, I was a victim of a house fire this summer and everything camping, except for the generator, got destroyed.

Thanking God that I am here able to write this review. Nevertheless; I had to get on here and explain how great of a product this is. This tent was one of the best things that I had gotten myself for camping.

We decided to get back to tent camping because it allows you more flexibility to camp in really great places. Purchased a 10×14 Mesa Canvas Tent after spending about 6 months looking at all types of tents and after spending 12 days camping in our current tent in UP Michigan.

We are older now and did not like the constant bending over to get in and out and we are both over 6ft tall. Purchased the new Teton Mesa and took it to Cape Hatteras for a 9 day tip and it delivered.

The wind was 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 knots all day and night. We even had 2 days of gale warnings, gusts reached over 30 knots. The tent held up and we did not have to bend over to get in and out, plenty of room to stand in tent and we stayed dry.

I was worried about the tent handling wind, I am sold on the Teton Canvas Mesa. I believe it will more than handle weather we would ever camp. Great purchase and very happy, been camping for 50 years in all types of tents and campers.

I am pleased with this purchase. The tent is very easy to put up and to take down by yourself. The canvas is sturdy and repels rain well. Easy to heat but more windows would be nice to help regulate the inside temperature.

set up was easy. My grandson and I set it up the 2nd time we used it in only a few minutes. The first time worked great, too. Frame seems very stable, even in a good Wyoming wind. Not sure what to expect in a mountain blizzard, and another rafter might be a good idea, but time will tell.

It was very easy to put up however, a couple of angles bent the very first time we used it. Tent was staked down and secured with rope and the angles still bent when the wind came up. Some even cracked all the way through by the end of the weekend and now a few of the angles have broken completely at the welds Very disappointed as now I have to buy a whole new frame and I only used the tent 3 times in less than a year.

While camping in the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee this past week, a flash flood caused the Little Pigeon River to flood the campground we were staying at. Thankfully we were not there during that time, but when we returned to our site the next day, everything was gone.

except our tent! It remained unmoved, and we even found that our belongings that were left on top of the air mattresses inside of it were dry!! The water had risen and was actually several feet above the ground, causing picnic tables and even vehicles to be swept away.

We couldnt believe it when we saw it still anchored in the ground, and all our things safe inside. We are so thankful for this tent, as there was a very special blanket of our daughters left inside. She was very happy to find it clean and dry! We will definitely be buying another one of these!!.

I was skeptical of the floor fabric when i set it up in the yard but was leaving for a 4 day trip thx next day, so tried it out. Put three small holes in it the first night. This tent is not for campers with dogs.

I love Big Agnes and my two old copper spur 1 and 2 have had hundreds of nights each with many many dogs in them over the 14 yrs of use, and with only maybe 40-50% of the trips using a footprint. That fabric was far superior to this tents floor.

We are well versed in the gentle use of ultralight tents and dogs don’t come in until everything is set up for the night and they lay in their spots. These holes occurred from one stretching in the morning.

Was afraid tent wouldn’t make it through the first trip. Otherwise it weathered one of the heaviest rain storms I’ve endured over 30+ yrs of backpacking in Montana, this last weekend and stayed nice and dry.

The set up is a little more fickle to get taught being a stake out foot end and actually requires two extra stakes than provided to keep the fly tight off the net at those corners, but when done right, it is quite dry and cozy and super roomy for two folks and two dogs or probably another person squeezed in middle.

It’s pretty long inside with lots of space above head and feet and I’m 6’1. The mesh pockets are plentiful and huge with one essentially working as a great gear loft. Many great things but the wimpy floor fabric won’t do for us and will be going back.

I don’t buy a super light tent and have to put a floor protector and footprint in the pack to not destroy it. That’s not only annoying from a design standpoint but turns a sub 3 lb tent into over 4 right away.

If you have dogs, get the copper spur and you won’t even need a footprint and it’s one lb heavier, like you’ll end up being anyway with the tiger wall and all the things you’ll need to protect it.

At less than 2# this is definitely a UL tent. However, in achieving that objective it also has the typical issues of durability found with UL tents in general. Consequently, care needs to be taken in site selection and handling to reduce wear and tear.

A ground cloth is a must to protect the bottom material. That said, the $60 price for the BA Footprint is ridiculous. There are several much less expensive options that fill the need. The setup is easy and intuitive.

Overall the tent is sound in most weather. Extended high wind and downpours can cause problems if not securely staked out. The 8 stakes supplied are insufficient for extreme conditions, I recommend 4 additional stakes to fully stretch and support the tent during windy and wet conditions.

With a $370 price I find it annoying that you need to pay for additional stakes that are necessary for a sound setup! At 6′-1″ the tent is roomy enough to accommodate my length when laying flat or seated to change clothes.

The full double wall design really aids in minimizing condensation issues. Overall this is a good UL 1 person tent. I use it in the mountains of Colorado and it supplies the required protection I need.

That said it is a 1 person UL tent and has the design restrictions of that objective.

I ordered this tent and set it up in my living room, and immediately returned it and ordered the copper spur. You have to stake out the footbox of this tent in two places, however, the chords that run from the footbox are NOT adjustable at all and are a fixed length, meaning if you don’t get an absolutely perfect stake, you have to re-stake it instead of just adjust.

For me, an extra 4 ounces for the copper spur fully free standing tent was immediately worth it. Also, the material of the tiger wall is incredibly thin. The tiger wall is made of 15D fabric, while the copper spur is a blend of 15d and 20D fabric.

From setting up both tents in my living room, I noticed a difference in durability for sure. I can understand the choices they made with the tiger wall, thinner fabric and non-adjustable cords, in order to save 4oz from the copper spur 1p.

Because who in their right mind would by the semi freestanding tent if the freestanding one was practically the same weight? But I don’t like the sacrifice in terms of durability and adjustments while staking out the footbox.

It’s a well designed tent and if you are super into weight savings and good at staking, I would still recommend this tent. But to me it is not worth the hassle for 4oz.

After reading reviews, I ordered the 10X12 and the front porch, ultimately to use at a campsite of ours alongside a river in Indiana favorable for fly-fishing. Regarding customer service, we placed the order in early March just as Coronavirus was beginning to spread.

The tent arrived, but not the poles (shipped separately) and so I raised questions to White Duck. They acted immediately to trace the shipment and determined that it had been lost, and said they immediately would ship a new set of poles.

Due to the shutdowns associated with the virus, I was ready for there to be further disruption, so I inquired about the timing of arrival, only to discover that very morning they had an earthquake which damaged the warehouse, injured, and cut power! They remained highly responsive in the turmoil, and managed to confirm the shipment had taken place and provide tracking information, clearly concerned that I receive all in time for planned use of it.

There was clearly a strong sense of personal responsibility that the company meet my need, even as they suffered under the incredible challenges of virus and earthquake. Regarding the product, I have nothing else to compare to, but I think it’s outstanding.

Every detail and need seems to have been thought of and met, including precise numbers of diverse stakes, a mallet, carrying cases, and cords all pre-attached to the tent and properly knotted, and buckles and hooks to hold flaps in well-considered ways and places.

The manual was a tad confusing but that did not long delay our assembling the poles and erecting the tent for the first time, which we did in our back yard for the experience of it. All pieces were as specified and none missing.

(I’m still a little confused about an included wire aperture and am seeking guidance. ) The clear roll-up windows arrived pretty wrinkled from shipping; my expectation is that situation will resolve itself, but have asked for recommendation from White Duck as to how address it.

The tent and poles are all heavy duty. and heavy to carry. Best to have two people pitching in. I had also bought A medium (Winterwell) camp stove, along with fire mat, double-wall chimney section, and flashing.

I was able easily using a sharp knife to cut the necessary hole in the tent’s stove jack and install the flashing, followed by the camp stove and chimney. (As an experiment, on a windy, overcast, 50 degree day, the temperature inside the tent rose to 94 degrees in no time.

)If we have need for a second tent for our campsite, I would not hesitate to order It from White Duck again.

The tent was perfect size for two of us, and with a heater going it kept us warm inside while it dropped into the low 20s overnight. On our last night, there was a serious windstorm that went through and I had thought for a moment while laying in my cot “I hope this tent can take this storm, otherwise we are going to be in for some trouble”! The tent barely budged when the gusts hit, I was impressed! One thing I liked was how there was an overhang on the front that kept our gear dry and that we could secure the door open during the days.

Purchased the 10X12 Alpha wall tent. To say that I’m pleased would be an understatement. I ordered on Friday and received my shipment the next Wednesday. I had to open it up and put it together and the quality was better than I expected.

My nephew and I had it together in less than 30 minutes and the take down was about the same. I am excited to get it set up on our new property and put it to use! As of right now I highly recommend if you are in the market for a long term, large, wall tent.

I try to buy quality things so I don’t regret a cheap purchase in a year or two, and this tent is everything g it says it is and more! I bought it last week and used it on a family property the pst four days.

On night two, two of the worst storms I’ve ever been in came through at midnight and again at 3:30AM. It was the first time I ever used it, and I got two high-wind horrible storms. There were tornado warnings in the area for both.

Not only did the tent survive (and me too luckily), but it did not leak a bit and took no damage! The awning came loose, but not a stitch was busted. Weather reports say there were 70 MPH sustained winds! When I emerged from the tent in the morning, there were trees uprooted on either side of me.

Insane night to be sure, but this tent was nothing short of amazing. I’ll never buy another brand but Kodiak Canvas again. Worth every penny and then some. Quality matters.

This tent is heavy but if you camp close to your car (or dont mind lugging this thing around wherever you go), this is the best tent out there. I bought this tent for my family of 5 and its been perfect for traditional campsite camping.

Its easy to set up, spacious, extremely strong, and keeps water out as good as any other tent I have used. My current Kodiak canvas is 5 years old. Ive used it a couple dozen times now and it still feels like its new.

If you take care of it, this tent will last for years. Long story short, dont fall for the trendy, thin, flimsy tents at the fancy sporting goods stores. This tent is waaayyy better!.

After many hours of research and watching almost every YouTube video on White Duck tents we chose the 16. 5′ Regatta Bell Tent. We made our purchase in March of 2021 and received our very heavy box rather quickly.

Setup of this tent is very simple and really does only take 15 to 20 minutes. It is very well built with heavy duty canvas, all seams are double stitched and the guy lines have a reflective strip woven into them that makes them shine in the slightest amount of light.

Our first camping trip was on Mother’s Day weekend and went very smoothly with a mild rain storm one night. Our second trip this year was for 4th of July. Temperatures hovered around 100 at our favorite Eastern New Mexico state park and our campsite was on a hill overlooking the lake.

Around 10 p. m. the last night of our 3 night Glamping trip we had a Severe Thunderstorm, heavy, torrential rains and lightning with 45 to 55 mph winds with wind gusts of 75 mph. When the sun rose our tent was still standing and had barely budged.

We were glad we had chosen to replace the lighter weight tent stakes that this tent came with. The 12″ construction re-bar stakes we used had begun to pull free of the very wet ground. The galvanized steel stakes that the tent came with stayed put around the base of the tent.

We had a small amount of water inside the tent due to a cot being up against the wall during the rain and the high winds had blown rain up the roof vents so it dripped down the main pole but not enough to cause us to sleep in the truck.

Almost all other tent campers abandoned camp in the late night hours due to equipment failure. The next morning and through the rest of our time at camp other campers (mostly RVers) came to check out our White Duck Bell tent.

Our only real complaint is that this heavy canvas tent has little air flow and becomes too hot to be in in the middle of the day when the temps start to soar.

10′ Regatta bell tent delivered 3 days ahead of schedule. Tent looked very well made. Upon setup noticed roof panels seemed to have a lot of sagging, not well fit. Considered sending the tent back but left it pitched for the night.

Midwest thunderstorms will make tents leak and the 35mph wind will flatten them. It rained at about an inch per hour for 3 hours and wind speeds of 37mph and didn’t leak a drop. Left the tent setup to dry and those saggy food panels shrunk to fit like a pair of jeans.

Perfect. I am a wildlife photographer so I camp in terrible weather conditions all year round. This tent is a keeper.

There are so many things to compliment -about this tent, and so many things I’d like to share about my experiences with it, and White Duck as a company. Firstly, I need to tell you that this is a heavy tent.

Good quality things are heavy, and tents are no different when it comes to something you can literally live in. I bought a wagon to move the two bags from the car and back. It’s not that much of a hassle, but you’d thank yourself if you had some type of system to wheel it around.

I can definitely carry the bags myself, but it just makes things less cumbersome. I use the cart for my stove and wood runs, so the multi-versatility if a cart makes it a no-brainer. But there are reasons why it’s so heavy, let’s get into that.

The type of canvas used, well, I’ve never seen anything like it. The canvas is strong, thick, yet breathable and light. Blocks the sun out, but still gives a natural lighting during the day. Keeps cool, yet holds heat in during the nights if using a wood burning stove.

Everything looks at least double stitched, you won’t need any type of that sealant seam stuff used in nylon tents. The zippers are YKK, the best on the market. The heavy duty poles are made from an extremely durable steel, no more snapped poles while trying to set up your tent.

The stove jack hole is fire retardant grade vinyl. It’ll melt if you’re careless, but unless you’re trying to destroy your stove in the process, it won’t catch flame. (If using a stove in your tent, purchase a chimney and stove top magnetic thermometer)I timed myself setting this beast of a tent up, from laying the floor down, zipping everything, pitching, staking, and some more staking- about 30 minutes.

I was expecting it to be much more difficult to set up, but everything is pretty self explanatory. You should always set up your tent before going out, just to run through everything. If you have any questions on setting up your tent, White Duck customer support is always there (thanks guys)The inside is more spacious than I could have imagined.

I can fit a queen sized bed wall to pole facing the door, and still have enough room for a cooking station, my wood burning stove, foldable couch chair/chairs, clothes, and much more. I’m blown away by it.

If you’ve ever watched Harry Potter, when they set up those tents during GOF, and Harry walks in amazed to see their tent is the size of a small apartment/loft- That’s how this tent feels. In my short time owning this tent, I’ve gone from sunny deserts to snowy mountains.

Never had a leak and never had an issue with it getting too hot. As I type this right now, I’m laying in my tent in a wind advisory area. 45MPH winds, trees blocking the blunt of it, but no fear this tent can’t handle it.

It’s been like this all day, and as I inspected my guylines, the stitching and seams held up like it was absolutely nothing. Impressed beyond belief. Now for White Duck as a company. This is not a cheap purchase, as you can see, but it’s literally a well made house in a bag.

White Duck truly cares for you as a customer. They are a smaller company, and they don’t cut corners when it comes to material. When I email, or call, they get back to me almost instantly. No call centers, no press “x” for “x option,” a real breathing person tied to this company communicates with you.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to contact Coleman, or Greenworks, or any other outdoor company to have them slouch on giving me prompt information, or even someone to talk to. Not with White Duck, I’ve worked through all of my snags and hurdles with the same two representatives, and they try their best to answer my endless questions, and troubleshootings.

They know me by name at this point, which is extremely comforting that they remember me as a customer. I know I can rely on them for help, and as small businesses diminish, it’s something of a mind blowing experience.

Thank you White Duck. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase, and I know White Duck has my back for anything that may happen with this tent. I’d buy it again and again (though this tent can last a lifetime).

I bought this tent thru white duck and they’re service was excellent! They were super helpful and very friendly. The quality is great. The walls and floors are really thick. It was nice that they include the mallet I heard some of the other companies that make similar tents don’t.

Very easy to assemble, I had no help and it was getting dark fast. Even with no experience putting one of these up, it still only took me about 15 min. Definitely feels like something I will pass on, only time will tell.

For now I am super happy with my purchase. And my family loves it.

DRY DRY DRY We went camping this weekend with our new tent. I brought sealant to apply once it was up but did I do it the first day. ? Nope. What was supposed to be a light rain turned into heavy rain for the majority of the night.

This tent kept up dry with zero leaking all night. We didn’t stake down the rain fly and even with a large amount of water pooling in one of the spaces along the side, it didn’t leak through at all. WINDOWS The interior was super spacious and love all the windows to allow for airflow.

The window zippers are a new design (to me) and I really like them. Once unzipped, they have a space of about 2-3″ at the bottom that remains closed – you then tuck the window covering into this slot.

SO much better than the roll up technique. EASY UP Tent was super easy to set-up. We were setting it up for the first time, reviewing instructions, not really in a rush at all – and I think it took us about 30 mins.

I think it’d be possibly to set-up solo as well. I would recommend WEARING GLOVES when setting up. The poles had some kind of material on them that got into our fingers on set-up and tear down – stung – possibly fiberglass particles.

? I added gloves to our camping packing list for this reason! There’s a good video of set-up on the Amazon listing for this tent. SPACE We called this our tent mansion. It’s huge. We fit our queen air mattress on one side – with space on both sides to walk – and 2 twin mattresses on the other with plenty of space in between.

We joked that we could fit a sectional in there. 🙂 Exactly what we were looking for.

We needed a new tent for our back yard after a windstorm last year destroyed our other. So far we are THRILLED with this one. This tent wasn’t difficult at all to put up as long as you take your time.

Lots of room is this one for our family of five. We need the space. The best part for us is that this one has been holding amazingly with the wind gusts we get here!! NO problems with at all. Our only complaints is that we don’t like the main door.

Both doors should be like the rear exit to the tent. Be gentle to the zipper on the main door. The base zippers and seams should be better reinforced than what they are. Other than that that… we’re very happy with it.

So even with the issues we found, we’re still giving it a full five star rating.

We bought this tent for our camping trip. I had picked it out and waited months for it to become available again. We outgrew my old one room tent and needed space for the kids plus everyone’s stuff. The straight walls are great as they allow my kids cots which can become bunk beds to fit perfectly.

We set up this tent in the dark in a matter of 10-15 minutes. It was so easy to set up! We did experience some rain and some droplets came through the roof rain fly however I hadn’t waterproofed it since I received it a few days late and it was the day we were leaving.

Had we water proofed it it wouldn’t have leaked. The whole roof is a screen when the rain fly is off. We were very please with the size and set up with this tent. It only comes with 1 room divider though there are hook ups for a second to make this into a 3 room tent.

I recommend putting a tarp underneath which we did and if you expect heavy rain a tarp over the top which we also eventually did. (We didn’t expect rain the first night it rained) all tents you should put a tarp over if you expect heavy rain.

It held up to winds just fine. We had it completely staked out. You should definitely by this tent. We plan on using it for years to come!.

I have used this tent for a solid 2 months this summer. It has been set in the same spot all this time. I started with the floor in but quickly realized this was for snow winter ise only. It is a sold rubberized flooring that holds any water in place.

Without fans water will need to be soaked up with towels. Left the door open while away and came home to a soak pool. The canvas and screen are strong and durable. We have had many thunder lightning and high wind storms this summer with hail.

90 mph winds no issues if staked right. The only issue I have is all cordage has degraded from the UV and need replacement. The small cord on the chimney cover went first. I duct tape some screen over the hole to use as a vent.

Set up can be done with one person 2 is better 4 is best. The setup was easy if you have set up tents before. I set 2 portable hammocks 2 chairs and a camp table with room to walk around. A battery operated fan saved most nights as there is little air flow even with all windows open.

This is definitely designed for cold weather camping but worked great all summer too. I would buy 4 for the scout troop in a heart beat if needed. I don’t give 5 stars on anything as there is always improvements.

Shopping for a hot tent and came across this. Almost passed it over because of the low price. While this is not canvas it has a canvas like feel and texture. It is a very heavy nylon tent material. It seems very strong, durable and waterproof.

This was very easy to assemble for a first attempt at a wall tent. One person taking about 45 mins to fully complete. I’m sure an experienced person would be faster. There are only a few cons I can think of.

First, this weights 100 lbs which makes it heavy to lift in and out of a vehicle but it rolls nicely once on the ground while in the bag. Most of this weight would be the steel frame that testifies to the integrity of the sturdy frame.

Secondly, the floor velcros to the tent walls and there is only a 10 inch strip of Velcro on the back wall. Fixable but should come with enough Velcro to secure the floor to the walls. If you wanted to cover the outside aprons with snow, water tubes or dirt then this wouldn’t be a big deal.

Thirdly, the pins that bolt the canvas sides to the frame is a pain in the butt to put in place requiring a great deal of pulling to get them in the bottom of the legs. This was where nearly half the time was spent during assembly.

Hint: It helps to start the frame on the 3rd (shortest length) snap hole then after placing the pins adjust the frame to take out slack in the canvas. The rised floor walls are high enough to keep water out but not drafts or critters.

We have had it up for nearly a month while storing some items waiting on a delayed shed delivery. All considered this is a great tent with much better quality than the price would suggest. We will be using this fall and winter at our family retreat.

I do believe we will get many years of use from this Ozark Trail North Fork and recommend.

Purchased this from Wal-Mart with mixed expectations. The design, size, and functionality were great, but I was concerned about quality and durability. You know, you get what you pay for. As expected, within the first season the seams along the roof began to degrade and tore.

During the first winter snow built up on the roof and the thin poles of the structure collapsed, ruining the frame and tearing holes in the fabric. A complete loss. Unfortunately this tent is just not made out of quality materials.

Very dissapointed. Spend the extra money and buy one that’s well made.

I purchased the 10×10 Classic 2 a few weeks back from Canadian Outdoor Equipment. They had all of their models in stock and ready to ship. I ordered mine online and it shipped out the next day and arrived right on schedule.

I’ve only had it out for two nights so far but I am very pleased with the tent. Seems to be really well made. Set up is easy as far as canvas tents go. No problem to set the tent up by yourself. If you’re in the market for one of these tents I would recommend giving them a call as the staff is very knowledgeable about the tents.

The guy I talked to answered all of my questions in a matter of a few minutes. I was originally thinking about going with the 9×9 Arctic Fox but after talking to him he recommended either the 10×10 Arctic Fox or 10×10 Classic and I’m glad I took his advice.

The 10×10 Classic is the perfect size for me. So far I’ve camped myself with my two Labrador Retrievers, but no problem for my wife to come along as well and still have plenty of space in the tent for our gear and the wood stove.

I like how they moved the stove Jack to the side in the Classic 2 version. By using a 45 degree elbow on your stove pipe this allows you to angle the end of your stove pipe away from the top of the tent outside.

This , in my opinion, reduces the chance of hot embers landing on the tent fabric. Although the guy I spoke with on the phone said they rarely have any issues with the original design this, if nothing else, gives me some peace of mind that I’m not going to burn a hole in my brand new tent as these things aren’t cheap to say the least.

Overall I would definitely recommend purchasing one of these tents from Canadian Outdoor Equipment and I’m already looking forward to getting out for another night in the tent!.

This is a review for my 1 year old Esker 2 tent. So far I have taken this tent with me all winter last year in every conditions Snow, Hail, Freezing Rain and in winds of 100Km over the weekend and I must praise this tent.

No damage, never got wet or cold! Fantastic product easy setup well worth the money you spend for it. Thank you for a fantastic product. Mike.
