20 Best Car Hauler Truck (2022 Updated)

Upper deck holds many 1/24 scale cars; lower deck too tight. But 1/32 scale vehicles are perfect; not the cheap so-called 1/32 scale boxed sets; those are more like 1/43 and the wheels won’t even sit on the tracks.

A realistic model; plastic, but still nice. The rearmost upper deck needs a 1/4″ square stick to support diecast loads.

Recently, August of 2017, I got back into slot cars by buying a 1/32 set, track, cars and accessories in a big way. I had been displaying my cars on a couple pieces of track which was OK but not spectacular.

Now some are displayed on the first truck I bought and I was so delighted that I bought two more today! There are enough cars to display and one may be taken apart to provide for small trailers and/or scale on the display work areas for the cars.

This model is well crafted and makes a wonderful display, with so many model cars and trucks available,it will present them with a sense of organization and teach my grandson to play carefully and have a place to display and admire his collection.

My 3 boys just started Legos and love anything vehicles. This toy was a perfect combination of their love and interest! They had so much fun building this set because they couldn’t wait to see it turn into a car transporter.

They worked on it everyday after school for a week. After it was built, they used it to transport their monster trucks and little cars. It was bit challenging for them to build, but only because they are still rather beginners with Legos.

But the end result was so worth the effort for them. As a parent, I really like anything Legos because it encourages teamwork, discipline, following directions ans builds confidence in solving complex matters alone and as a team.

Lego is really smart in creating different themes. This set really piqued their interest and I’m overjoyed. We absolutely love it and highly recommend it.

This is a great Lego truck because it represents a truck that is used to transport cars but it is made out of Legos. The truck comes with a Lego car and couple of Lego figures too. The Lego transport truck can also be used to transport other Lego cars too.

Most Lego cars can fit on the ramp of the truck. You can use this Lego truck to transport almost any car you have that is made out of Legos. The truck seems to be hard to build since it is a complex Lego set, but it is a lot of fun to play once yo finish building.

What will Lego make next in the line of vehicles?.

Interesting vehicles in cool color scheme, with high play value. But as collector I think there is some things to improve. Truck has no proportions(I think is too small, compare to trailer and car) also is lacking exhausts, seat for driver and doors.

The trailer has not enough wheels for its size in my opinion. Connection for trailer is different than in other sets, there is no way to use the trailer with trucks from other sets, I wish there is one system for that like in older sets.

But it’s a modeller whining;-) In general I like the set, I really wish that City line will get finally a train set with car transport car(;-)) to go together with that product.

If you love Cars, you will love this Mack car hauler! The first thing we noticed is how well it’s made and how great the little details on the truck and trailer are. The red color is really bright and vibrant.

It holds about 12 little toy cars inside and on top of the trailer. If you lower the gate in the back, the cars on top shoot right out, which was a feature my son absolutely loved. We have quite a few Lightening McQueen small cars as well as other characters from the movie, and they all fit nicely into the trailer.

There is one slight flaw, the truck has a very short turning radius, it would be nice if it swiveled completely to the right and left. The trailer does detach from the truck, so you can play with them separately.

Overall, this is a great toy and definitely holds my sons attention.

My youngest son likes Cars and was excited to have Mack. The door and the ramp are simple enough to use. They snap down and back into place without a lot of pressure, which makes it easy for little hands.

The inside and the top ramp are quite wide, bigger cars and trucks are accommodated. He had a good time transporting his cars to his different play sets that he set up in the living room, dropping the ramp onto the roads and driving McQueen out.

We own quite a few “Cars” vehicles but if you don’t, you will want to buy a Lightning McQueen separately because this truck doesn’t come with one and I know my kids would be really disappointed if they didn’t have one to go inside.

As it is though, it is a lot of fun for my almost 4 year old to play with. He uses it to store his Lightning McQueen when he’s done because he says that’s where Lightning sleeps.

My kids have really enjoyed playing with this Disney Cars Mack Hauler that we received through the Mattel Play, Rate & Review Program. They love to load it up with their small toy cars, and then transport them all over the house.

It’s great that it can hold so many, because it also doubles as a place to store some of the cars! My kids also love the movie “Cars”, so this Mack Hauler helps them make up their own stories using some of their favorite characters.

We don’t have any other figures from the movie, so they even pretend that some of their other toys are the movie characters, which I love because they are using their imaginations. My toddler really likes to drive the cars on and off this truck.

So this truck is great for kids of all ages, mine are 18 months to 7. 5 years and they all love to play with this toy.

I tried to obtain this model kit for a long tiem. It was just so expensive, until now. I foound this kit at a reasonable price and grabbed it up.

Very simple to assemble. Very little clean up of parts. Easy removed from sprue

We purchased this bike rack after searching for a bike rack that would support the weight of two Himiway E-Bikes. We love this bike rack. Our fat tires do not fit between the tire bars as designed, however do fit nicely between the two sets of tire bars with great stability.

We added two ratchet straps around the base of the bike frame near the pedal sprockets and a rubber bungee around the tires. We load our bikes front opposite meaning handle bars are opposite each other and we secure the bike frames together.

We also ordered an anti rattle device for our tow hitch to eliminate the play in the hitch. We took our first trip, 520 miles, and the bikes rode perfectly without shifting at all. This is a great solution for those who have heavy ebikes that can’t safely be towed with traditional bike racks.

The price is significantly less than the bike racks advertised AND the weight limit far exceeds anything out there. Loading is a snap. I am a 5’4″, 160 LB 57 year old woman and I can load our bikes entirely by myself.

Lastly it’s multi functional for carrying cargo too! My only suggestion to the manufacturer is to offer a tire bar specifically for fat tires!!.

I contemplated a 5 star review or a 1 star review. For 5 star, the cargo carrier/bike rack works great. It hauls our mountain bikes with enough space. Road bikes would be even easier. It is sturdy and a pretty good design overall.

You cannot open the tailgate on our 4 runner while using it, but I expected that. We also used different straps than the Velcro ones to keeps the bike tires in the holder. We did use the rachet strap provided to hold them tight.

We plan to haul the push mower and snowblower with this carrier to storage as needed too. For the 1 star rating, I was disappointed in how it was shipped. This cargo carrier is heavy, probably 75 lbs or greater.

It was shipped in a flimsy cardboard box. It came all ripped up and taped by FedEx. It had pieces and parts falling out of it. I cant believe all the parts actually made it here. Something this heavy should be crated or at least have some supports.

Additionally, the instructions for assembly were terrible! It did not show which bolts went where. It is just one picture. The assembly instructions should be like a lego manual with step-by-step picture instructions.

My husband had to take it apart a few times because he used the wrong bolt in an area. It also requires metric tools, which not everyone has. Overall, I gave it 5 stars because I liked the price and how the cargo carrier/bike rack works even though shipping and assembly instructions are a train wreck.

I also appreciated an email from the seller with a 1-800 number to call for any concerns. That is good customer service to me!.

Nice rack, but weight rating needs to be more specific like 300 lbs up to 500 lbs based on hitch rating. I should not have to learn this as I read the assembly and use instructions. The tire c;amps are insufficient for newer bikes like Ebikes, and larger mountain bike tires and wheels.

My eBike wheel is a 700 or 29 inch size and will need a longer bracket to clamp on the bike tire. The rack is easier to use than most others.

My 4 year old son had a blast with his DRIVEN Turbocharge Carrier Truck! Not only is it a toy in itself, you can store and display up to 34 cars. It is not as bulky as I would’ve figured a truck that can fit that amount of cars is; it’s approximately 23 inches in length and 5 1/2 inches in width.

I love the fact that the handle at the top of the truck doesn’t stick out and that it goes back inward so that it is flush with the top of the truck. I also like that the display doors seem durable and secures at the bottom of the truck so you don’t have to worry about the cars that are stored in it to spill out.

Just make sure that the doors are secure, because they can spill out. Another great feature about this toy is that it comes with 2 pull-back cars that are lightweight and move really fast. They also bounce off the things they run into which made them very entertaining to play with.

The DRIVEN carrier truck will make the perfect gift as it is a fun toy, can store a lot of cars (which means a cleaner play area without toy cars all over the place) and it comes with two more cool cars.

Only one side of this truck stays closed. My 4 year old loves loading it up but as soon as he tries to drive it, the one side flips open and all the cars fall out. He gets frustrated quickly and therefore doesn’t play with it for long.

Maybe I received a defective one.

9/10 times products are cheap for a reason, and this truck is one of those times. this truck is total junk. the doors don’t latch so when you fill it with cars, they immediately fall out. I wish I had just spent the extra 10 bucks for the better version.

On time and in one piece…multiple parts and a very nice kit, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants to build one and Mega Hobby it’s self!!! There fast and pack the item and every item like it’s the last one in the world to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

Looks to be a great kit and I can’t wait to start it.

Excellent model, got lots of attention at the Perth model show last year. Lots of good detail, although the chassis had to be prepared carefully (one of the kids got me to buy them one, he made a backside of it and teh chassis is bent because he didnt prepare it) and the hydraulic rams at the back are rubbish, I tried to clear them out to make them move easier, but although they work its still not very good, more effort please Revell!! Also has hydraulic hoses and chains for securing cars, fiddly but looks great.

🙂 All in all, a good model but you need a bit of skill.

I started building models at about 8 years old. I built a few Revell and a lot of AMT and JoHan. Revell has gotten worse on mold seams and seam leaks, requiring a lot of trimming and sanding even on delicate pieces.

Some pieces on this kit have such a small contact area for glue, that I know I will be re-doing it not to far in the future. I will avoid Revell from now on.

Seems really useful and pretty sturdy construction. Lots and lots of space for cars to fit. Nifty opening up functionality to get them in there too. Only gripe, they send the exact same four “fantasy” cars with each truck.

So now each of my kids has the exact same cars. A little variety there would be nice. Also, just one colour? Why not blue and yellow.

Our grandson loves his mega hauler truck and car set! He has quite a collection of cars to haul! I recommend this!

Not good for storage and flimsy construction. Regret buying this.

My 3 year old son absolutely LOVES this truck! He is a very car and truck obsessed boy, and this toy combines two of his loves. This toy holds his attention for a very long time, he can spend forever simply putting cars in and taking them out of the truck.

He loves that it extends and he is able to get even more cars after extending the truck. It is very a very well made toy, the plastic is a good, thick, well made plastic that feels like it will withstand lots of abuse from a busy little boy! I think that the only negative I have found with this toy is the side compartments on the truck.

My son has trouble opening on their own and has to bring it to me to open. Even I have a bit of difficulty getting them open sometimes. Other than that, though, I absolutely recommend this toy for any child you know that has a love for all things that go VROOOM!.

Wow! This is such a cool toy! We have thousands of hot wheels and my boys usually have a select few they play with daily. Not only is this good for storage, they also have so much fun playing with it.

They can put their favorite cars on the hauler and don’t have to drag the toy box out every time. This is made pretty sturdy. When adjusting the hauler piece it seems made well and will withstand lots of use.

This is a must when you have a ton of hot wheels. The storage is so nice!.

My sons and I are big fans of Hot Wheels, so when they unboxed this Hot Wheels Mega Hauler with Storage for up to 50 cars they were very happy. This hauler has multi levels that fold down/stack on top of each other.

I like the capacity it can hold but it’s a little flimsy so I wouldn’t put the max amount of cars on it. My sons like playing with it as a hauler driving to pick up a few cars to deliver them somewhere else.

After they are done playing we all load up their other Hot Wheels into the Hauler for clean up. It is much more neat then throwing them into a bin or using the Hot Wheels Storage Carrying Case.

My son loves these trucks! The softer plastic is great because it seems like maybe the trucks won’t get destroyed too quickly. My little boy was smiling so big and ran across the room when I got everything out of the box.

Great purchase. The packaging was a bit of overkill with almost a dozen zip ties that needed to be cut though.

2 1/2 year old grandson loved it. He pushed it around and around the house. His friends came over and were immediately enamored with it. We need more so everyone has one to play with. Nothing is any better than a truck hauling trucks!.

It advertises 6 cars, but only 5 of same size will fit. The turn radius is lousy. Tires or cab rubs on frame preventing from turning… Where was quality control on this build?!

The Hotwheels Mega Turbo Hauler was fun for about a week in our house. My son loves trailers so i thought this might be a great product for him. However there are a few issues with the hauler. The hauler connects to other hotwheels tracks, however there are blocks on the rig which dont allow the cars to pass through.

So its kind of pointless to have it connect. In addition, not all the hotwheels will fit, and we would get cars stuck in the bottom section. Finally, when you fill it with cars, you really cant use the toy on carpet.

The toy itself is a nice idea, however i think they tried to pack the ability to put too many cars on the rig, and the toy doesnt have appeal past the initial novelty of it. I would recommend the Hot Wheels Blastin’ Rig as it doesnt carry too many cars, it works better on carpet, and you have the ability to shoot cars out of it.

The blastin rig is still a hit at my house, while the turbo hauler is collecting dust.

The Hot Wheels Mega Hauler Truck is an essential vehicle to any Hot Wheels enthusiast. For a relatively low cost, you get a vehicle that you can transport 50 of your toy cars on. I tried out different brands of toy cars on this, and it was clearly designed with Hot Wheels cars in mind, which is fair because competitors have their own version of this as well.

Other brands of cars can fit on here, just not as well. The product is basically all plastic and I wish it had been a little sturdier and the tracks for the cars would have stayed upright and locked into place when you open it all the way up to store your cars.

Sometimes it slides back down causing cars to shift. I also wish there were more tire holes where you cars would sit in place and not shift around. Not every child is going to have 50 cars, and if your track isn’t full, cars are going to roll.

All in all, it’s not an expensive product and your child will love it and get lots of playtime out of it. However, as an adult looking at the product, you will wish it was better.

This is one of the best hot wheels toys ever created. This hauler will hold many hot wheels cars. Getting them in and out of the hauler requires a bit of dexterity, that my son lacked prior to using this toy.

After months of use, I’m happy to say that his dexterity has improved dramatically. It is definitely a toy I would recommend purchasing to anyone with children that have an interest in hot wheels, big trucks, or need practice with their motor skills.

My son has celiac disease and unfortunately, for a lot of kids that aren’t diagnosed until later in age, he didn’t progress quite as fast as his non CD counterparts in regards to his dexterity. Kids can load up their hot wheels in the big hauler, drive them across the country and deposit them in their imaginary show room Highly recommend!.

I bought this as a gift for my grandson for his bday, Good amount of storage for cars but thought there would be a better way to get the cars in/out of the storage slots. The launcher isn’t the best, if the cars aren’t sitting right up against it they don’t launch well.

I like the button type launchers better than these that you hit. The tracks a little flimsy so sometimes the cars may go off track. Overall it’s OK for the price. With a couple of slight modifications it could be much better.

it’s designed as a 6 foot drag strip with a plunger to send cars down the track, but its impossible to keep them on the track. either they crash in 6 inches or they limp the length of the toy in a sad, slow process.

My kid was frustrated and FOLDED IT UP AND PUT IT AWAY for older hot wheels toys he has after 3 runs because it wouldn’t work. Hasn’t gone back to it in 3 days. Its just ok as a car carrier. my kids are ok just throwing them in a box/bin/suitcase so the carrier aspect does nothing for us.

We love this thing! My 3 year old can use this by himself. It’s sturdy and cleverly built, and it holds upwards of 25 cars. There have already been countless tournaments, and there will be many more! The only gripe I can come up with is the launch bay is only 1.

5” tall, so I don’t know if character cars like the Mario Cart ones will fit inside. Works wonderfully for our collection, so far, though!.

I got this for my you get brother who is 5, he collects hot wheels. And he needed something that could haul his favorites. Needless to say this one became the top fave. He takes it with him everywhere he goes.

It was very inexpensive maybe 20-$25 or so. (Used coupon from JCP). There aren’t very many small pieces so I don’t worry about him choking in anything as boys sometimes bite on stuff. Pretty sturdy and something I think all boys this age like a lot.

Would definitely buy again.

Lego is a very good safe brand! My son enjoys Legos and Lego City is his favorite! The pieces are all easy to put together and colors are beautiful.

A good toy for kids. My son like block to build and select that toy like than others. The LEGO products have a lot quality.

I really like it, however there are a few cons, I didnt receive the nuts for the bike hold down, not a big deal just picked some up. Second, I have a 2002 Xr250r and if it was any wider the bike would not work on this rack, my dads 600r doesnt fit.

That out of the way, it went together easy and is so much nicer than putting the bike in the truck, also makes a great stand to work on the bike. I would definitely recommend, and Im confident Rocky Mountain Atv would get you the missing parts if you got ahold of them.

Awesome RC vehicle. All ready to go other than needing your own battery and charger. Great fun and this has the e-brake where the Arrma felony does not. Wouldn’t suggest for kids might be a little much for them to handle.

So get yourself one and let her eat.

You cant go wrong with a arrma infraction . Built for speed or drift. Just buy one. They are only $700 new, lol. Well worth it!!

I like that it is not so big that it would be a pain to take along places. Plenty accessories to keep little ones involved and imaginitive. Very pleased with purchase.

This truck was a Christmas gift for my 4yr old grandson. It is all plastic, and came to me broken. Would not order this for that price, cheaply made.
