11 Best Car Odor Remover (2022 Updated)

I have an older car so I purchased one of these because I know that the Ozium spray works very well anyway I wanted to put something in my car that I knew would work and I didn’t want to have to spray something all the time.

that’s why I had purchased this air freshener hoping it would liven up my car make it smell good. Like I can honestly say after putting it in my vehicle I never ever smelt it unless I hold it up to my face very disappointing it’s kind of a waste of money I take it back but it’s not worth the energy or the gas so lesson learned I’ll stick with the spray sorry Ozium.

Wow this item works. I moved into an apartment that had a stubborn smell in the pantry. I washed the entire pantry, tried baking soda and other products to kill the smell. NOTHING WORKED! THIS is magic.

My girl was working on mowing my lawn for me , then cutting some wood and splitting it. She was working up quite a sweat. So after she stacked the wood , I told her I had a present for her. This deodorizer works wonders on her drive home, so she could clean up and come back to make me supper.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This air freshener is unique, unlike any other I’ve tried. Knowing that it’s part of the Febreze family, I expected it would be a great scent and it delivers as expected! The fruity tones of melon and apple combined with just a touch of musk go together surprisingly well.

It’s also neutral enough that it can be enjoyed by any gender. I love how you just snap the clip up and it immediately activates with gentle scents that begin to emanate in the air. Free of dyes, phthalates, and formaldehyde is reassuring although I’m less bothered by that since it’s not something you’re ingesting like food.

It fits on the vent clip perfectly and looks great. Having said that, I believe one is defective because no matter what I did, I cannot adjust the strength level beyond level 1. It seems that the plastic slider is jammed and does not move.

I’ve used these before and never had an issue so I assume that this is just a defective one. The unconventional name “Lush” provides no explanation as to what it actually smells like and it might be helpful if the packaging actually showed some melon, apple, and musk to give the buyer an idea rather than having to read the description.

The purple packaging is attractive but in a store especially with Covid, I’d rather not sniff packages and instead would prefer to have a quick visual of what it actually is made from. Finally, the price is a bit high compared with some other car air fresheners.

When i got this i opened it in the house and after reading the directions i placed one in the kitchen just to try it out. I realized that it is one of those car scents that is activated by the movement of the fan, so while i was getting ready i placed one in the car.

Mind you it was -15 out so i was not expecting it to work at all. Most don’t work in low temps nevermind negative temps. With the car warming up i did what i had to and within the 5 minutes time i went out to the car, i opened the door and was hit in the face by this sweet smell of what could only be described as blood orange.

My first instinct was just wonderful i am going to choke from how strong it was, or sneeze my brains out. I was surprised when i sat in the car that it wasn’t as over powering as i had thought, and the smell seemed to mellow out after the first time i smelled it.

I have to say this is the first time i have used anything remotely like this. i had a set of ones that looked like tooth picks in the car but they never ever let off a scent! My car is a car that is a smokers car.

So you know getting any scent of that out is horrible! Add in dog smell and of course a puppy peed in my back seat and you have a mess that you can smell no matter what! Except now all i smell is the scent of blood oranges.

Not sure if that was what febreeze had in mind for this but it is not a nasty smell at all! I am happy i can’t smell the puppy pee even though i have washed the seat many times or that nasty lingering cig smell either! If i didn’t see the dog hair all over i would have thought someone took my car to the car wash! I am thinking i need to get more of these for the summer time! Long time use I am not sure of I am hoping the scent doesn’t fade after 3 weeks and it stays smelling like blood oranges.

This was an amazing scent but I do wonder how it will be come summer time when the car is extremely hot. Will the scent be over powering, will it even work in a dark car? If now is any indication of how well this works, then I am happy to say my car is now a febreeze car! I welcome summer full force.

No more nasty smells for me!.

I’m actually more of a unisex with a hint of subtle creamy sweetness Air Freshener vibe type of girl. ( example black ice cream with a vanilla mix) But I actually always keep a few of these in my car compartment.

Reminds me of “Home” and growing up in California. My Mom always bought this scent in several different Febreeze products, and I always remember when she was spraying the rooms- and how she would always stop mid spray to take in the scent.

Lol I’m sure she still uses it. It’s feminine and tropical smelling. Really crowd pleasing and unlikely to be offensive to others. Also- it’s Febreeze, so it actually does make the air smell lifted and renewed, not piled on top of existing scents like too many other brands tend to do.

Ick. One of the Car fresheners lasts a good 6 weeks. Higher than the average brand. so it’s good quality! Febreeze offers this scent in quite a few different products too. I. E air freshener, Room spray, Candles, and last I checked I believe they also offer wax cubes!.

A nice warm sugar coated apple pie. It smells of exactly what it says on the label. A great scent, just missing the ice-cream and custard. Probably my favourite from the range so far.

I love how this product makes my truck smell!! My only complaint is it doesn’t last very long in the summer. My guess is the heat just shrivels it up. It does well in cooler temps. I know it’s being open, and the heat, that does it because I keep my extra’s in the back of the truck.

they never dry up. What I started doing recently was only peeling the seal back about halfway instead of completely removing it. Seems as though the less air that can get to it helps it last a little longer.

I know your product smells good because I get compliments all the time.

I purchase the driven gel car air freshener prior to trading my vehicle in. The aroma of the air freshener was great at 1st but I found it dried out within 30 days.

Wanted something that smelled a little more masculine than the usual cherry, bubble gum or black ice. This ticked that boxes and then some, smells really nice, like a nice aftershave and is still going strong.

Will see how long it lasts.

This interior odor eliminator from meguiars does not leave a nice smell in my opinion. It may eliminate bad odours but replaced it with a pretty bad smell in my opinion. Unlike say, febreze which leaves a fresh light smell.

I think meguiars make great products, i use them and recommend them to everyone, but not this product.

Recently purchased from SCA and was looking for a product that would nicely scent the interior without being too overwhelming. I was happily surprised at how nicely this misted from the nozzle and after 10 minutes or so when the product settles, it leaves a really nice smell that is not too strong and is long lasting.

This spray bottle will last me a while which is good, but I think $21. 99 is waaay too steep. This should be priced at about $14. Prior to this I was using Turtle Wax’s “Odour-X” spray and I think after this bottle I have is done, I will return to Turtle Wax.

It says permanent odour removal, I bought few cars recently and yes this worked well better than other items but it not permanent smells back 4days later. Resprayed twice again and it’s wearing of again.

Misleading picture. By seeing the image you would think you would get the whole set of 2 items. Instead, you get only one small bottle that is usually attached as a free item. Waste of time. Had to return all items back.

This smells so great, and it lasts quite a while in my car. I feel like this is a necessity in any car. The only thing I don’t like about it is the spray pump gets difficult to spray after a while, it doesn’t spritz out, it kind of spews instead.

But this is a great product to have on hand.

Very disappointed. Sprayed all over my passenger seat, it smelled when I first sprayed but that was it. Wouldn’t buy again. Impulse buy in line waiting.
