20 Best Car Seat Tray (2022 Updated)

I bought this for my 4 year old son. His booster seat makes his drinks out of reach and I also needed something for eating and snacking on long rides. He loves it! He even uses the tray to play with his toys.

Glad I purchased it for him.

Product is sturdy, easy to adjust and has long straps. Hook on side very nice to hang trash bags. Not too bulky. Enough holders, for drinks food and even toys. Bought 2 , best investment.

I read the reviews for this product on a number of sites and the concensous is pretty much spot on. The material is stiff but not rigid. The underside (against your seat) is very similar to kitchen drawer lining, you know the soft slide resistant stuff.

The top side is nice but definitely not slide resistant but that is why Latch was created. The only reason for the -1 star is the width. Definitely watch this if you plan to put 2 side by side or you have smaller sized captains chairs in your minivan.

Somewhat related to that is the lip. Good in its purpose though there could be some additional cutouts for the latch system. On my minivan the latch is low and therefore the lip is pressed flat in the rear by the latch cable.

Overall a good investment that I expect to easily last the 8 more years of car seats left to come.

This seat protector is made of a stiffer plastics that helps stop the dents from child car seats. The rear of the protector has nonslip material on it so it doesn’t slide. The back section is not attached to the lower as many other ones are.

It does have a hook and loop section that locks the two sections together.

I’ve had this tray for a little over a year. It does its job when it’s in use but its also kind of a pain – the clear plastic pops out the black base almost every time I collapse the stroller and I have to make sure it doesn’t get lost.

Also- we wash it often to remove food/dirt but it never looks clean. The clear plastic scratches so easily and looks foggy now no matter what.

I absolutely love this snack tray. It’s a bit expensive but excellent quality. It fits very easily on the rumble seat and is the perfect accessory for little ones. The tray and cup holder are great for separating a designated drink and snack spot.

This is a must have!.

We used this rack to carry our Chicco NextFit Zip carseat on a trip from Chicago to Florida. Our 22-month-old was very excited to ride around in her car seat! It was so much easier than carrying her thru the airport.

The rack has a smooth set of wheels (inline-skate-like). The handle extended a perfect height for 5-1/2-foot-tall-Mommy to use. However, 6-1/2-foot-tall-Daddy found the handle a little short, and had to bend over slightly.

The rack folded nicely, and fit under the seat on our Southwest Airlines flights, allowing us to take our car seat on the airplane, plus use it in the car during our week of vacation. When folded, the rack fits nicely inside our big suitcase, which allows us to avoid taking additional storage space in our home a welcome bonus! At the end of our return flight, we found the extension on the handle to have a slight additional wobble or play when extended, but since we purchased a used rack from eBay, we believe it to just be normal wear and tear from weight and usage from both us and the previous owners.

Overall, it was a great rack, and was easily worth the money to ease our travels.

I don’t know that there’s an ideal way to get a carseat through an airport, but this is probably the best available. I flew alone recently with our 20-month old–did not carry a stroller since there was one waiting at our destination, but wanted to use the carseat on the plane instead of checking it.

Overall this got the job done and was easy to use and maneuver. Pros: uses LATCH system; fits most carseats; folds down flat for storage under seat or in overhead bin; very sturdy (I felt very comfortable with my 30 lb.

toddler riding IN the carseat through the airport) Cons: I did find the straps a little difficult to loosen; I’m sure they’ll relax with more use, but just make sure the carseat is in the proper position BEFORE you tighten the straps.

I’d also recommend putting your child into the carseat after you have it attached to the cart and not before. Also, you’ll likely have to disassemble the carseat from the cart before boarding the aircraft.

most aisles are just not wide enough to accommodate today’s carseats. That’s not an issue with the cart, just a general observation. so be prepared to carry your child (or let them walk) onboard with the carseat and cart carried separately.

I bought this cart in order to travel by air with my daughter, just me flying alone with her, so I could cart her and her carseat through the airport and onto/off the planes. It works great for the airport, but not so hot with the planes.

Regional jet aisles are not wide enough to roll it to your seat (the cart itself is fine, but the carseat is too wide. If you have a particularly narrow seat like a Radian, it might work). The only aircraft I was able to roll it to my seat on was an Airbus A319, arranged with 3 seats on either side of the aisle.

Note also that some aircraft aisles are not straight all the way back (i. e. they have a dog-leg between first class and coach or something similar). I also found myself with a dilemma at O’Hare airport when boarding a regional jet and they didn’t have a jetway at our gate! The cart is nice and sturdy, and the rollerblade-type wheels roll very smoothly.

The carseat attaches nicely with the LATCH connectors, and is easy to remove as well. I used the top tether for additional security – there’s a bar at the base meant just for that purpose. Make sure you fit-check the cart in a store along with your specific seat though – I happen to have a Britax Pavilion seat but not all seats fit on it as well, depending on the geometry of the seat.

The cart folds up easily and locks in the folded position with just some little bumps in the base part that you push the handle part between. It does not lock in the open position though, so if you bump it, the handle will go crashing over (if there’s not a carseat attached to it, that is).

I did have one airline tell me it couldn’t be stowed in the overhead bin due to the wheels – they said it was a safety hazard because people open the bin and it’s light enough it may just roll out. I was able to fit it under my seat, but it does take up a good amount of space, so might not work on the smallest planes.

The Upseat worked great as an intro to solid foods for our daughter. It provided great support even while she was still pretty wobbly at 4/5 months. Small table is flat and much easier to clean than most booster seats.

Ergonomic seat does seem to give her better posture than most. Upseat was great for travel / camping purposes as well. I give this product 4/5 stars because the seat is comfy, sturdy and secure. However the table attachment to the seat could be more robust.

It broke after a couple months’ use. Fortunately upseat does provide free replacements of tables up to the first year of use. Customer service was prompt and polite at sending us a new seat. Therefore despite the faulty seat I would recommend this seat to friends.

Just be careful with attaching / removing the table from it’s base on the seat.

With my first son we had the Bumbo floor seat. With our second, I decided to get this Upseat Baby Floor Chair since it’s supposed to be better overall for the baby. But I must admit, the hype over this floor seat won me over.

When I first ordered it, it was hard to get your hands on one as it was a “hot” sought after item. BUT, we honestly only used it a handful of times. Definitely not enough times to get our money’s worth out of it.

I would probably keep this on hand for any potential future children, but I would not recommend it unless you knew you would use it often. It just wasn’t something that we absolutely needed but is still a great product.

Cost is just a bit high for something that is barely used.

my chunky 4 month old’s thighs/legs are snug but he fits for now. he doesn’t like being in the seat too long but I think that’s more about him than the comfort of the seat. the seat is sturdy on the floor.

the tray table is a perfect height, making it easy for baby to grab the toys i place in front of him and bang them against the tray. it’s easy to remove the tray. cleaning is simple – not many crevices to worry about.

wish i would’ve bought this when my baby was a little younger to get more use out of it. he’ll be outgrowing it soon.

We received this product in 2015, when my first was born. It was stylish, slim and easy to use. Loved that the infant carrier clicked right into both the stroller and the car seat base. It was so easy I never once felt frustrated.

Over time we transitioned out of the infant carrier but still used the stroller. The straps are easy to adjust as the child grows and the stroller folds down with a push of a button. We used this again when my second was born in 2017 and never had a problem.

Great product that held up for years. My stroller days are behind me now, but this was a great experience.

This is the best infant car seat/travel system I’ve ever used. We lived downtown on uneven brick pavers and poorly kept sidewalks before all of the renovations and this stroller could handle and still handles anything! I’ve had it four years and would buy it again if I lost it.

Where was this when I was a kid? This is the coolest travel tray I have ever seen. It seriously has all the bells and whistles. This seriously is the best travel tray because it will keep your child entertained for hours in the car.

The marker board is my daughter’s favorite thing about this tray. She loves drawing and writing all over it. This tray has so many storage pockets for snacks, dry erase markers, pens, pencils etc. We have also found that this is perfect for my little one to do her homework in the car.

We also like to take this on camping and hotel trips. This is the perfect tray to take inside a hotel room and it can be used as a food tray as well as the entertainment tray. I really like that this tray is lightweight and not heavy on my daughter’s legs.

It is very sturdy and very durable. The iPad holder is very reliable and the rubber padding and velcro backing keeps it from sliding all over the place. I really like that the straps are adjustable and fits around my little one very comfortably.

Another great feature about this tray is that the cushion bars can be moved and adjusted into a cup holder or extra holder spaces. The velcro backs make for easy adjustments. I am beyond impressed with this product and I will definitely be purchasing more of these for my family members.

This kids travel activity tray by Lusso Gear is a must have for road trips or even just running errands! My six year old daughter loves this travel activity tray so much and I love that it helps keep her entertained during car rides.

It is very easy to set up and comes with instructions. We use one of the booster seats for older kids that doesn’t have a back on it and this travel tray for over it perfectly. It has a adjustable belt that goes around her waist so I don’t have to worry about it falling in the floor.

It’s customizable as you can use just the tray of add on the drink holder, tablet holder, or a smaller holder to the top of the tray. The tablet holder fits my daughter’s tablet and it is ten inches with a super thick kid proof case on it, the clear plastic on the tablet holder is thick and might not be the best for playing games through but it works perfect for watching videos.

The top of the travel tray is a dry erase board which my daughter thinks it’s the coolest thing ever. The flaps that hang down on the side have extra storage for dry water markers and anything really, one side is open pocket storage and the other is a zippered mesh storage pocket.

There is also a zippered storage area across the entire length of the tray on the bottom which we use to store her stuff when she’s not using the travel tray. This is kid tested and mom approved. I wish we would have gotten this sooner seriously didn’t know what we were missing out on!.

I wanted to try one of these Lusso Gear Activity Trays for our granddaughters when we travel. I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect when ordering this but am happy to say that it meets my expectations. It hasn’t been on any long trips yet but we’ll soon be trying it out for that too.

Our granddaughters love the dry erase board and the little pockets to put their extra things for travel as well as little spots to put their dry erase pens. I also like that it has a Velcro tab to put around a drink to help keep it from spilling.

I like that it gives different options to use (or not use) depending on whether you need it or not. There’s an IPad holder that can be used or not! Every child is different but this gives options to individualize this tray for your specific child’s needs.

As to durability I haven’t owned it long enough to know if it’ll hold up with extended use but it seems as if it will.

This is a very sturdy tray. It worked very well on our most recent trip. It will get a lot of use on the future.

Very flimsy, pockets small and no support so everything spills out. To get it to stay must push way down and kids have trouble pulling it out. It does clean well with damp cloth and has rimmed top so things don’t roll off.

My grandchildren received this as an early Christmas gift since both sets of grandparents require driving to. Love the border edge as it prevents things from falling on the car floor and less crying or squirming to get them.

Worked great on our road trip across the country. I have 3 kids in 3 different car seats and it worked for all 3. The activity tray was easy to put to the side and didn’t take up much room when not in use.

My kids used them to eat, color and play on. They were sturdy enough to color on and the wall around the edges kept crayons and toys from rolling off. The mesh pockets were useful too. Great product all around.

I bought this for my grandchildren. The first to use it is 5 and he loves it. His new cousin will enjoy it when she gets older. She’s only a month old. My 5yr old wants it every time he gets in the truck,loves the side pockets.
