If you need to have a tablet in your vehicle for any reason? Than this will work for you! It’s very easy to setup and has plenty adjustments. It’s built pretty tuff also! It even fit with my case that’s pretty thick actually.

Make sure your cup holder is in a position that you’ll be able to utilize the tablet and not have it too close to you so you have to look down upon it. Good luck, I really like it!.

We use this tablet holder in a ford transit 350 to hold and iPad Air 2 in a folio case and it fits nicely. We do a lot of maps/directions and this allowed us to adjust the iPad to the perfect viewing angle that keeps our eyes on the road more.

I will say that the depth of an iPad it can hold is a bit minimal. It can definitely hold an iPad without a case, but once you put it in a case, it starts to get tighter. The folio fits nicely and a tough case (like an otter box) can be held, but barely.

If your case has a hand strap on the back, it will probably not fit. Overall though, it does as advertised and is a sturdy metal arm. The cup part seems like it will fit most cup holders, as it is expandable.

Great product, worth the cost.

I wanted to use my tablets in car for GPS and maps, but I could not find anything that would not fall down or slide on the dash. I had a cup holder for tablets before, so I was hesitant to try another.

However I am extremely pleased with this one. The price might be more than you want to pay, but this is well worth the price. It is very sturdy metal framing that securely locks in place. There are two extension pieces that allow it to become longer.

Since it has two points of motion in the frame you can contort it anyway that allows you to comfortably view or use your tablet. An iPad Pro 9. 7 and a Fire HD 10 and 8 fit perfect. Easy to remove and insert.

The metal clips that hold the tablets also have 3M soft pads so they don’t scratch the ends. I have my iPad in Otterbox and it still works perfect. I am very pleased and give it a full 5 stars.

This holder works perfectly for my outsized phone. Because my cup holder is in the rear of the console, it rotates and tips forward. I would not look down to the screen in heavy traffic, but have BT connection.

The product works very well. Tge only con is that, although the width of the item is adjustable and it rotates, there is no holder adjustability for depth. It will not adequately or tightly hold and item with and extended battery and case.

If this were to be updated with the depth adjustability, I would give it 5 stars. Other than that, it snugs up well to just about any static cup holder and maintains it’s position with item intact. Don’t try to go off road with it, but for all else, it seems fine.

Developer, please let me know when you make the update with adjustable arm depth.

If you need quality car tablet holder to place tablet between seats (for example for two children seated on rear seats), you probably wont find more convenient and reliable mount. It is very convenient that this holder mount on one headrest.

I could not find other mount with the same construction. The mount is stable even for big (10) tablet, the materials looks reliable.

I waited a bit before giving this review because I wanted to make sure my review was completely true 🙂 It was just what I was looking for! I have three children and needed a tablet holder that wasn’t too big or bulky that could angle just right for all three to see while riding in the truck.

It turned out to be a very good experience and functionality. You do need to buy the expanding button and place it on the back of your phone so it can hook to the stand. But it holds it easily. Easy mount, easy remove.

You do need to adhere the enclosed circular plastic bottom pad to the car dash to give it the strong suction needed for the stand. Though, I worry what the adhesive may do to my console if I were to remove it and place it elsewhere.

I like that you don’t need to squeeze arms around it to hold in place, as other stands require. Not good to handle when driving, but you can hook the phone in place without taking your eyes off the road – all by feel.

The button on the back of the phone also serves as a holder for ease of phone use and as a phone stand. The button comes in different colors and designs. The expanding button part can be easily twisted off for cleaning or replacing.

I am very happy with this design.

Love this PopSocket stand! I’ve had PopSockets on pretty much all my phones since they arrived on the market, so I’ve almost always used a PopSocket mount in my car for easier viewing. After having my last vehicle totaled out and having to purchase a new vehicle, the small PopSocket mount that I had previously used wouldn’t work in my new 2022 vehicle because of how the mount was to be positioned without hindering my steering wheel or the view of my dash screen.

After Googling for different PopSocket mounts I found this one and went to BestBuy to look at in person. Obviously I purchased it, and it works perfect and has so much functionality! It sits on top my dash and has a weird sticky type suction which sounds crazy but definitely works.

It has many positions you can adjust it to and can be auctioned to your windshield or dash whichever u feel more comfortable with.

I’ve had this mount for more than a year, and I love it BUT I had to switch cars for a few days so I moved my pop mount – which I adore and use every day – and it wouldn’t stay in the new car. Oh well, I’ll be without for a few days and go back to normal right? Wrong! I went to put it back in my regular car and it wouldn’t stay.

Maybe the adhesive needs to be washed like the instructions say? No improvement. Okay, well they include that disc you can put on your dash, maybe that will help? Nope, the mount still won’t stay, and now I can’t get that disc off of my dash!! I looked closer at the mount, and it looks like the spring might be stretched out or something, and that’s why it bobs and eventually falls off.

If moving the mount ONE TIME makes it unusable then this isn’t really worth it. I’m so annoyed and don’t want to spend another 30$ for something that is apparently a consumable good!.

Very easy to install and there are videos online that show you how to do it. I say near-perfect because there are a couple of things I think could be improved. First, the two adjustable sliding lower brackets, upon which the tablet rests, rattle while you are driving when your tablet is not in the holder.

I discovered that you must close the two sliding brackets together and, for extra secureness, place a rubber band around them. Second, the cup holders in my 2016 Honda Accord are set back such that when I tried to use the cupmount base, no amount of adjustment allowed me to position the tablet in a comfortable position; therefore, I had to use the dashmount base instead.

All said though, I am very pleased with this product and I have not experienced the problem reported by some users stating that their tablet falls out of the holder because, they believe, the holder is too flimsy.

I have had this mount in my semi truck for a few weeks now. It holds my iPhone 13 PM or my iPad 12. 9 for easy viewing. The suction cup has failed once due to negligence on my part (I forgot to clean the dash) I used a small bungee cord to help hold it in place and to cut down on vibration.

I would prefer a metal mount, but this is a solid mount and fits my purpose. I’d recommend this mount over the many others I’ve had. It is well built and if not abused by over tightening the adjustment knobs, it will last a long time.

To be honest, I searched for a tablet mount on other sites briefly to no avail. I hung up the idea of mounting my tablet in my car. then one day I get a recommendation on my verizon app for this tablet mount by GRiP lol.

It was exactly what I had been searching for. I use the cup holder mount more than the dash because of positioning but different vehicles will be in different orientations. I do wish the cup holder mount wasn’t a suction cup, as I have an itch to find some way to merge the two components together permanently.

This mount is nice and sturdy. It’s well made and all the mounting hardware and joints are metal! The backing that the tablet rests against is the only plastic part but that’s ok. It was easy to install and holds in place well.

I ordered one initially and was so happy with the quality of construction that I got a second for my other car. The only improvement I could suggest would be a way to lock the tablet holder in place more permanently.

It’s easy to bump the mount and loosen the threaded mounting post that the holder attaches to. It’s easy to twist the tablet holder slightly to tighten it up again but it’s a bit annoying at times. This could probably be fixed with some loc-tite or some other type of thread locker.

I use this with the first generation iPad (yes, it’s ancient now), and it’s probably one of the heaviest tablets you can put into this contraption. It does hold it well though. You can also flip it over to hold smaller items like your phone.

The straps are attached to the long sides of the rectangle, and they come together with sturdy Velcro. Therefore, the straps will go around your headrest vertically if you want the long side of your tablet to be horizontal like you are viewing a TV.

Keep that in mind if you do not have an adjustable headrest or some sort of hole to feed the strap through. Overall, it seems like a worthwhile purchase. I know I will get plenty of use out of it on future road trips.

The expandable band that holds the component on the holder broke as I took the holder out of the package. I will now try to go through the process of returning the item. The return policy states that I will have to pay for shipping.

Just the right stiffness to hold a tablet relatively steady yet easy enough to fold out of the way as well. The included parts will NOT securely hold a mini tablet. I have an 8. 4 inch Samsung that has at least one inch of space between the top of the tablet and the top of the frame.

No luck with preliminary search for parts to make smaller tablets secure.

Just bight and returned it from the store. Associate and I were confused, as the SKU and model number are the same. This mount only extended 7 inches instead if 9.

This is my favorite magnet-style phone mount. With mag-safe capability on newer iPhones, this does have to be mounted on the lower or the upper portion of the phone. Because of this, the weight is slightly off balance so it tends to fall off easier than when I mounted it in the center.

It still works with and fits under my mag-safe case. Would love a stronger magnet. I have the iPhone 12 mini. A bigger phone might be too heavy for this to be of value.

LOVE THIS PHONE MOUNT! I’ve had numerous phone mounts over the years but I will continue to buy these for as long as they continue to sell these. I’ve purchased one of these for every car I’ve owned and they have worked flawlessly in each one.

None of them has broken on me, loosened on me or has fallen off. The adhesive is strong and durable even with the extreme Chicago weather of insanely cold to unbearable, sweltering heat. Oh, and the magnet? Strong and sturdy every time.

Compared to a regular non-magnetic phone mount with arms, it just does not compare and I know it sounds like a minor inconvenience to “slide” your phone in but once you have one of these, there’s just no going back.

It’s just so easy to place on and take off, I just love my phone mount.

I bought this for my work car as I use my phone as a GPS often. When I first tried the suction of the base, it didn’t stick to my windscreen and kept falling off. Instead I decided to use it on my dash and it stuck much better.

I use the magnets on the outside of my phone so the attraction is strong. I initially used a pop socket with a magnet on it, but found the phone would just turn around in circles on country roads. I got rid of the pop socket and used the larger magnet on the back of my case and it works perfectly now.

I purchased this in the hope that it would settle my baby who HATES the car. Worked a treat. It straps really tightly to the headrest so Im also confident that it wont fall and hurt him. Very good quality for a fair price.

very sturdy when hold ipad and tablet. but could be improved if able to adjust the angle up/down because it tend to face slightly upward based on the front seat headrest. Overall, it is better than the plastic holder with many arms adjustments because it tended to vibrate a lot during driving.

Smartest and most clever dashmount ever !! Had to knew this years ago! Just use the unused cd/dvd player slot. No suction cups or adhesive mounts ever more. Everyone is nowadays listening car music via USB or Bluetooth.

So I was looking for a car mount to hold a phone and big enough for a tablet. So I settled for this universal cd slot mount. Now, this is all plastic but I have never had any issues with satechi products.

This is perfect!.

I purchased 2 of these headrest mounts for dvd tv’s. The mounts hold the weight and have never fell off. Occasionally, I have to reposition, which is expected. The only issue I’ve had (my fault) was I put the clear plastic film on the tv, instead of putting the metal plate directly on the TV.

The clear plastic allows the metal mounting plate to be removed easier. Very satisfied with the product, highly recommended.

I received this product free as a part of the Spark Review Program. This product is great. The magnet is very strong so you don’t need to worry about it falling off. A phone or a newer light tablet will have no trouble staying on.

The mount can be angled quite a bit to deal with a seat that is reclined to a comfortable upright seating position. The mounting hardware, though plastic, is seemingly durable. I would take care tightening the knobs as they might strip out.

You’re also going to want to place the adhesive magnetic mount carefully as this is the method that will adjust the height of the tablet. Also you’ll have to live with that piece of metal all the time unless you put it on a case and swap cases.

Overall it’s really great. Most phones and tablets are better than the in-car entertainment systems in most cars if they even have them. This can be taken on and off and put on any car you own or rent.

Paired with some Bluetooth headphones for the kids it’s a great way to get some entertainment on the cheap. I would have liked it to come with some more mounting plates.

This mount is pretty darn good. My dashboard is not flat, so I thought I may have a problem with the way it sits on the dashboard. Not so. I cannot use the little pedestal because of the round dash but other than that it works great.

It secures very tight to the glass. The little feet and side clips hold my phone, with the thick Otter Box case, securely even over bumps. I bought another holder before this one. That one secured itself in the air vent.

Came loose everyday and couldn’t hold the weight of the phone. This one is worth it.

I had a “cup holder” phone cradle that worked okay. The problem was it required me to take my eyes WAY off the road to see my phone. I recently rode with a friend who had a magnet holder similar to this that was on his windshield (which I was afraid would obstruct my view) instead of the dashboard.

It did NOT obstruct the view and overcame a dashboard that was not flat. I have enjoyed mine and highly recommend it to others. (Too, it comes with extra metal plates in case you have several devices that need the same holder.

I just bought this new because i had one that last me over 2 years. I had the short type but this one is longer and has much better magnetic options. Having longer arm to hold phone will give you more proximity to your face and better way to maneuver or see your calls.

It also keeps mic cable and charger cable out of the way allowing you to drive well. It’s much better to keep your head up while you drive and don’t want to miss an important call. Be Safe!.

This works really well, especially if you might have to change the size of the device you are using. One tip. They always show the straps on the back being connected so that they are parallel. Worked better for me when I crossed the straps and connected the top strap to the bottom and vice versa, making a X design.

Held onto the headrest better. They should put this in the directions.

These are working out great for our kid’s iPads. They hold them really well even with the iPad in a thick military grade protective case! One thing to keep in mind, if the driver or passenger wants to rest their head against headrest, the straps are uncomfortable.

We use them to hold iPads and iPhones (both the regular and plus versions of the iPhone). It is great to have one holder that can hold all the different sizes. We have also hooked it up to not only headrests, but also to the visor when sitting in a parking lot waiting and other places in the car.

I drive a truck and lost my windshield mount for my dezl700 GPS. The original didn’t work very well and a friend suggested the ToughTested mount. I has worked very well until the suction cup tore. I contacted ToughTested and they quickly replaced the whole unit.

The suction cup with the ratcheting lock is excellent. Vibration is minimal. Due to the strength of the arm, repositioning it takes some work, but that’s preferable to more vibration.

As a Package Delivery driver, I purchased this product maybe 2 years ago. Using it to hold my phone in place for navigation purposes. After driving on all kinds of rough roads, gravel roads, pot hole filled roads, never one time has my phone fell off of the magnet.

It has made my job much easier, not having to fiddle with the phone at all. The clip on the vent in incredibly strong, as well as the magnet. I simply type in the address, get my phone even close to the magnet, it clicks into place and away I go.

I’m not big on product reviews, this being my 1st one. But I have to give credit where it is due. This is a wonderful product!.

As a police officer it is difficult to keep your phone in one spot while driving (especially emergency runs) and it needs to be handy incase you get an important call. This product made that easy. My phone was constantly sliding in the cracks between the seats until I got this product.

Just plop it on the vent and you’re good to go. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because during an emergency run, I hit a bump and the clip broke. That being said, for normal day to day use I do not think it would have broke.

It’s still a great product. I have thought about getting another but I’ve upgraded phones and would need the plus size this time. Just not sure I want to spend $42 on it. Overall it is a great innovative design and I believe it would stand up to normal day to day use with zero issues.

The only real complaint I have is about the windshield mount. The arm is way to short and it needs to extend for different vehicles. The current length is fine for a passenger car but it’s was too short for a semi truck.
