20 Best Carb Free Pasta (2022 Updated)

I made a box for some chicken parmesan. The box of dry noodles doesn’t look like much quantity, but it’s comparable to a typical box of typical noodles. Many servings. They do have a tendency to clump together while boiling so you need to be persistent with stirring and separating, or the noodles in the middle of the nest will not cook thoroughly.

Test them as you cook, and cook them a little longer than you’d do for a typical pasta. No al-dente here – undercooked here isn’t hard like dried flour pasta but instead it’s rubbery. As long as you don’t hope it has the same mouthfeel of wheat or semolina or other pasta, you should still enjoy this, a lot.

My daughter isn’t picky with food but if she thinks it’s one thing and doesn’t taste right, she’ll object. I’ve tried to sneak veggie and healthier options by her in the past and it’s a no-go. This time I told her it wasn’t plain pasta and let her try some, and she was open to it and liked it.

It does have a SLIGHT flavor but nothing that taints the dish; it’s a little chewier than regular pasta but not at all detrimental. I really enjoyed them and will order again.

I know this is different than in the picture but they are the same company general idea. I really wanted to review these because they are new to me. I am loving these crunchy roasted sea salt edamame beans by The Only Bean! I was skeptical trying them but I was pleasantly surprised.

I included the nutritional label on these. Low calorie, little saturated fat, high protein fiber. These little beans pack a nutritional punch that is hard to find! They are organic, vegan, gluten free, non GMO.

They taste really good. They kinda remind me of salted roasted pumpkin seeds. I’ve started watching what I eat closely. Ugh extra pounds 🙄. What I like about these beans is that I eat them one by one and it gives me that snacky feeling while I’m doing things like watch a movie or read a book.

This is guilt free snacking at its finest! When I bought these I noticed they were selling two other flavored ones. This was an affordable great buy for me. You should definitely give these a try!.

I bought these the first time about a year ago. I tried them, didn’t like them, thought they were horrible, and left the rest sitting in the pantry for months while I ate egg-based pastas that were barely passable as keto.

At some point I was tight on money and had to use these as they were the only keto pasta I had available. So, at that point I followed the instructions very carefully, boiled them a little longer than directed, and after boiling I put them in the colander and rinsed them under cold water like 5 times until the water had no foam or color.

WHAT A STARK AND IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE IT MADE!!!Now I love these noodles! They are the only kind I will buy! I can do literally any sauce or spice arrangement and it matches up very well. My favorite ways to eat them so far:With Pesto & olive oil (yum!)And with truffle salt and assiago cheese!Omg, just rinse them.

It just takes a minute. And they don’t cost an arm and a leg like some other keto noodles.

I started using miracle noodle products by Dr. Jonathan Carp. I had a heart attack, then I had all of this open heart surgery, just to end up getting a defibrillator pacemaker. I went 100% Vegan, started yoga and hired a Trainor.

I became so proactive with my health and made all new life style changes. I started buying the different types of miracle noodles and replaced them with the normal pasta you purchase. I have learned to make so many healthy recipes with these noodles that I even started losing weight, getting and looking healthy.

I have transitioned so smoothly into a vegan. I started buying many other products from this company. I forgot to mention I was preparing for surgery on my carotid which was 90% blocked took my test last week and the next day I was told there was no plaque on that artery.

I have more test on my hear which is only functioning at 17%. Once my tests are complete in March I have a feeling that that will be reversed as well. I had mitre valve repaired, atrial appendage and cubg done through open heart surgery one year ago.

I will keep you posted. I recommend all of their products. I give them a 5 star. I love their products and I am sure you will too.

I had been buying Miracle Noodle Pho at a local grocery store. Really enjoyed it as a snack. Easy and fast to prepare and with flavor packet, you have a filling healthful mini meal. Couldn’t get it anymore and it wasn’t available on the website.

So I ordered a box of fettuccine packets. The fettuccine is the same healthful product but more complex to prepare and you end up with just noodle that require additions to make a flavorful snack/light meal.

I added olive oil and coarse black pepper to my first test. It really needs something more zesty, but I haven’t gotten around to another trial but really don’t want to add meat or dairy to what iOS a healthful, green product.

I really hate to express my disappointment in this puported pasta-type substitute, but I see now why one has to purchase ten packages, rather than a small sample. I found the product to not be doable at all.

I followed the instructions to a “t” but the “noodles” are akin to somewhat slippery, long bean sprouts. Very veggie seeming with a fairly slimy feeling or “tooth. ” I was able to eat one package after smothering the product in my favorite sugar-free sauces from D.

Hughes and then dumping on a very large serving of peperoncini peppers. I won’t even attempt to give away the other nine packages–they are going in the trash/garbage. I’m so disappointed–doggone it!.

I’m living a KETO lifestyle which means low carb foods but I can eat Chinese and Mexican every day, so I had to find low carb noodles and tortillas. With Skinny Pasta I can now make all my favorite Chinese noodle recipes low carb and delicious!! My only advice would be to “soften” the noodles before adding them to your recipe.

In 3 cups hot water add 1 tablespoon baking soda, 3 tablespoons lemon or lime juice, stir until soda is dissolved then add the washed and drained noodles for 15 to 20 minutes. Still working on the low carb tortillas ; ).

Best keto pasta I’ve had. Yes, the texture is a bit different but with meat sauce it tastes great to me. It basically has no taste. I cooked it for longer then the package suggests to improve texture.

The bag is small but I divided it into four servings for work and it was actually a lot of food. The pasta does get bigger the longer it sits. So 4 meals for me at 12. 99 is worth it to have pasta again! Would love a different shape pasta though.

The package says boil for 9 minutes but I did it for 10 or 11 minutes with a little oil (to keep pasta from sticking and boiling over as much) while it boiled and texture turned out perfect for mac n cheese.

I was skeptical when I saw the liquid sauce packet but put it in and stirred and the mac n cheese is perfect taste. It is actually really good. I got it since it is supposedly better for you than regular pasta and I imagine it is since it is pasta made out of chickpea but it still has quite a bit of fat etc from the cheese sauce.

Maybe next time I should only eat one cup serving like it says instead of eating all three cups prepared it comes with haha. I was happy that it tasted so good; didn’t have to add any seasoned salt, butter, or milk.

The price paid is a little over the top at $3. 99 each even for “premium” that uses different pasta. But probably worth it since they got the pasta to come out the right texture (as long as you try the pasta at 9 minutes and then do more time if wanting it more tender) and the cheese sauce is way better than all the other liquid sauce packets I’ve tried.

This macaroni is literally the best macaroni I have ever tasted. I have been eating it because I’ve been wanting to add extra protein in my diet. I boil the water first. Then, I put in the pasta and lower the heat and I stir it all the time.

I cook it for about 8-9 minutes like the box says. Then, I take out most of the water and I put in the powder and mix it well. Finally, I’ve got the best tasting mac and cheese ever! I never add butter or milk like the box says to do and it turns out great.

Also, if you’d like extra flavor just add some extra salt while cooking the pasta. This macaroni is filling and I’ve actually been losing weight because this fills me up more than normal pasta. Banza, please don’t ever discontinue this, I’ve tasted every macaroni and this is my absolute favorite! :).

I did not purchase this on this site since Amazon had it next day. As a gluten free person for 30 years it has been really hard to find edible pasta. One of those cooking delivery boxes had Banza in it & was skeptical until I ate it.

It has real TEXTURE & does not fall apart. I love lentils so the taste is fine for me. Only issue I have with the Mac & Cheese is not enough cheese mix or not strong enough. The lentils are heavy to begin with & absorbs a great deal of the cheese mix.

If Banza would fix that I would say perfect. I canceled the food cooking home delivery but will be a Banza fan now because of them. Shamefully I ate the entire thing myself.

The taste was good. The texture was different from what we are used to. It seemed more stiff than regular noodles. However, we can get used to it as it is a healthier choice. We would purchase again.

I am a post gastric sleeve and my wife had gastric bypass.

I love Banza pasta, it’s hard to find a “healthy” version of pasta that’s gluten free. I still buy Barilla gluten free for a more traditional pasta but 90% of the time when we are having pasta I use different versions of Banza.

It’s a great source of protein and other vitamins and for kids with Celiac it’s really important they gather as much as they can from their food. Since my kids in particular actually have a hard time digesting the vitamins they get from their food as well.

So I look for good quality things where I can. I enjoy using it for pasta dishes (red sauce, chili mac, penne alfredo) I like them for noodle soups. They are great for a lot of things. You CAN tell the difference from traditional pasta.

I’m not going to say there’s no difference but it’s not so different that you’re put off. (at least not for me) I find they have a good taste. For those who have never cooked these don’t be surprised if you see as you cook them the water starts to look like a thing from horror movies.

You’re the witch cooking over a cauldron of doom. It bubbles and gets smoggy and frothy a bit. Looks like you’re cooking something that’s not water! It’s normal the chickpeas make the water look funky as they cook.

Just stir it regularly so it doesn’t stick to the pan.

To be completely transparent, I did not like this pasta at first. To me, it’s not that great just plain with butter/olive oil the first time you are trying it. It seems silly to say that though, because I really don’t even eat pasta that way.

I just wanted to see exactly what it tasted like when I first tried it. Would not recommend as the taste and consistency does differ from regular white or whole wheat pasta. That said, I gave it a try again but with pesto and have never looked back.

My husband actually says he prefers it to regular pastas as it doesn’t give him that bloated or overfull feeling after eating it. I’ve now used this pasta every way I can think, and it has yet to let me down.

We do not have diet restrictions, but just try to eat healthier and this is truly a game changer. Highly, highly recommend. And if you’re like me and need to adjust your expectations a tad, it’s definitely worth it.

I know have about 20 boxes in my pantry at all time and cannot remember the last time I have used (or missed) regular pasta.

Im sorry to say, this pasta is terrible!! Seriously folks, go with Barilla Chickpea Rotini, every time! I will never make this mistake again! I added to my beef stew because ny husband enjoys extra protein, and we normally like the different flavor of the chickpea pasta.

Unfortunately, Wal-Mart did not have the Barilla brand, so we went with Banza- Yuck! It completely disintegrated into the soup, leaving a chalky taste, and complete mush of whatever was left of the noodles.

Before you ask, they were in the crockpot for less than an hour, on low. Normally, I can throw them in and they soak up some juice, and are perfectly cooked by the time we sit down to eat! Absolutely ruined the flavor of a fresh garden, hearty beef stew.

So disappointed!.

This konjac pasta is awesome. It comes in two packets so you have the ability to store some if you don’t need all of it. Other konjac pasta I have heard of bitter flavours, I have always rinsed this and then added it to my meal and never had a problem.

This is great for low cal high fibre needs, low carb people, people with allergies to wheat and corn and rice. I use the rice size noodles because rice is a sensitivity and they go into stir fried and soups so well! They don’t get soggy, they are ready to eat immediately- it’s a great product.

Shown in my pic is a stirfry of ‘the meatless farm’ patties and this rice shaped pasta, and onions and veggies and then I put that over a bed of iceberg lettuce and add some Sriracha and sweet chilli Thai sauce.

NOT EVEN EDIBLE Thank you LIVIVA for cutting rubber band into pieces and selling it as penne! Just one bite and I knew if I continue I’ll have to throw up! Didn’t even dare to swallow! I even tried cooking it again (while adding some salt so there is some taste), even though the packaging serving instruction is just to rinse and towel dry and serve, but still it was like pieces of rubber.

Absolutely disgusting!.

If you thought that you might like to have a nice penne addition to your keto or gluten free pasta dish, you will be surprised! But in a bad way. You might as well just buy some chewing gum, or cut up bits of an old tire and cook it in with your pasta sauce, because the effect will be the same.

I should’ve known when the instructions told me to squeeze excess water out of the pasta that it would hold together like glue. Additionally the pasta sauce does not stick to it, no matter how long you let it soak/simmer.

If you’re thinking of purchasing this, maybe first apologize to your mouth in advance.

If you boil it for 20 min and let it marinate in the sauce overnight and then reheat you can’t really tell the difference from pasta. But if you eat it out of the can it has a grainy plant texture. The grainy texture isn’t bad, it just doesn’t feel like pasta.

It has 90% less calories than pasta!!! It’s a miracle. I eat it all the time. I never eat pasta anymore because it’s fattening. This product fixes that problem. I had palmini linguini, tomato sauce, and vegan meatballs last night – it was 390 calories total.

The same meal with linguine pasta, tomato sauce, and meat meatballs is 800 calories. A 55% decrease in carbs but only a 33% decrease in protein. I first saw it on shark tank and the owners are purposely keeping the price high to make it seem like a luxury item.

They need to change that and go for a high volume low price model.

This is the best wheat alternative pasta I ve ever had. It is not a perfect substitute to regular wheat pasta but it s very good for what it is, while providing incredible macros. First this is not spaghetti, you re not going to emulsify sauces with bean water, and I m so glad they did load it with xanthan gum like other alt pasta brands, however you can easily add it yourself for emulsification I prefer to control the amount so this is a huge plus for me.

Second the texture is a rubbery, certainly not in a bad way but totally different than wheat and closer to vermicelli rice noodles (but firmer). I enjoy the texture, they don t fall apart and cooking instructions produced a pleasant texture.

Lastly is price, these are far cheaper than other alt pasta or ramen brands, and from all of the ones I tried this is my favorite. I tried it with home made bolognese, and the results were great. Not the same as wheat but equally enjoyable.

I felt full despite only having had consumed 550 or so calories, which is much less than a typical serving of regular pasta while hitting over 60 grams of protein.

I felt like I was having a typical regular noodle Asian dish! I followed the instructions well in terms of preparing the noodles. Rinsed them for a minute in a pot with tap water, swishing them around.

Drained them. Repeated the process. Then let them soak in a little water with a tsp of white vinegar for 30 seconds and rinsed them again. I did not boil them as someone said that that made them rubbery.

I just dried them out in a non-stick pan and took them out of the pan. I prepared my Asian dish with veggies and protein and then added the pan-dried noodles to the pan, added all the sauces and voila! I honestly would not be able to tell the difference between a regular Asian noodle dish from this one! I don’t know how they will hold up to Italian pasta dishes but for the Asian ones, they will be my go to noodles from now on! Especially as I am on Keto.

Good texture for Asian-style dishes (not Italian!!), easy prep. Negative reviews seem to be from people who don’t understand this style of noodles (the only kind of noodle they know is Italian pasta) and who perhaps aren’t super capable of reading and following directions.

If you like clear, springy/chewy Asian noodles (like rice noodles or mung bean noodles or sweet potato noodles) then you’ll like these. They are completely flavorless, so they need a strong, tasty sauce.

They also, as the instructions clearly state, need to be very well rinsed (that’s what takes care of the smell).

Bought these once before years ago. My opinion of them remains the same this time around: these noodles are winners with healthy sodium, carbs and fat content. But there is absolutely NO flavor. At all.

This is fine as long as you combine them with strong flavored proteins and veggies. The texture is exactly like al dente noodles, not crunchy, not rubbery. However, my menopausal hormone changes have made me not able to comfortably digest these, so won’t be ordering again.

I love carba nada products. They taste really good and they are getting harder to find. This is very discouraging. I use this product for weight and blood sugar control, so this is a problem for me. I highly recommend this product if you can find it for under a million bucks.
