20 Best Card Games Switch (2022 Updated)

It’s been awhile since I’ve played a yugioh console game (or the game at all for that matter) and this was enjoyable in some regards because I got to play with somewhat recent cards and learn some of the newer mechanics I’d missed out on over the years (Xyz, Pendulum, Links).

It does have some interesting features like the ability to play using drafted decks or sealed packs. The promos that come with it are cool but I’m not really interested in Cyberse so probably won’t use them.

However the game has alot of cons and I don’t even know where to start. I guess the forced master rule 4 would be the biggest complaint. I watched an interview with a developer and he stated the story mode duels were supposed to “feel like the anime” but with master rule 4 you can’t have more than one extra deck monster out without link monsters, this wouldn’t be a problem if they tweaked the decks to fit in some links but they kept the decks the same as their original series to be “faithful” despite the fact you can’t be faithful by, let’s just say for example, fusion summoning several heros in GX as Jaden onto the field together.

Yes you can use your own deck instead of the story decks to incorporate links but then it feels like, what’s the point of trying to make it feel like the show then? Also the story mode skips some important duels, and the text before a story game can range from a single line to a chapter in text (all can be skipped though by pressing Y).

The banlist for the game is a weird mashup of cards and I wouldn’t really mind it if we could still play casually online or locally however we wanted and just left the banlist for ranked, sadly that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Last time I tried to play locally with a friend any decks I had with a card that was “banned” didn’t show up as an option for me to use against him. You can use them in any amount against the computer but that just feels silly unless you’re trying to grind rewards.

Another complaint would be how they handle duplicates when opening packs, once you’ve opened at least 3 of a card it doesn’t stop you from opening it again, this wouldn’t be a problem if the game had a feature like how in some past yugioh games you could exchange extra copies for more in game currency to buy more packs.

Instead you never actually have more than that third copy and eventually you could be opening hundreds of packs using thousands of in game currency just to open the last 50 something cards you need from a particular pack.

The game has forced animations for some cards that can’t be skipped and overall the gameplay just feels slow. Don’t believe me? Just watch any video when a card excavates more than 2 cards from the top of the deck and you’ll start to realize how slow everything is going.

Overall I wouldn’t say this game is terrible, it does have access to alot of cards that you can play while chilling on the couch or in bed with the switch in tablet mode. It’s more faithful to the actual card game compared to Duel Links which is Speed Duel rules.

But Link Evolution is lacking in a lot of ways that seem like really simple fixes that just weren’t pursued.

If you happen to grow up playing yugioh games and want an updated version of the gbc, gba, ds games, this is it. The gameplay has grown tremendously over the the decade and the information this game has can be overwhelming.

It can be good to just pick up and duel, or you can play the “campaign” when you just duel ingame characters. An added difficulty to the game is using character decks instead of using your own broken deck once you made one.

You can play online, so good luck with that if you’re just learning the game. The game does a decent job teaching you the added gameplay mechanics progressing thru it’s campaign. Great yugioh game, just wish soundtrack was larger, it was a one of the best features in all yugioh games of the past and that’s where I felt this game messed up on.

The cards included are mediocre imo. I mean cmon. You wont be getting it for that. Besides that the game harkens back to those awesome gameboy advance days of yugioh. If youre a longtime or oldtime fan like me you will love it for that.

But that is also its weakness. The game for what it is, is great but considering it was bumped up in price (i believe it came out 2015 with less cards and stuff and maybe at 20 bucks and digital only for ps4/xb1).

well they could have done better. Granted its not 60 dollars but even at 40 we deserve a tad more. It is set up almost EXACTLY like the gba games from back in the day. Meaning its card vs card no real animation of monsters and stuff.

You get a 2 second video clip of only the most popular monsters used by notorious and very high profile characters. Blue eyes for kaiba and DM for yugi as an example and maybe a couple others as i see a clip for DM girl too.

Anyway they could have done a bit more here. Also getting the cards is a pain. At first its one thing to buy packs 1 by 1 but jeez it never gives the option to buy multiple so youre stuck 24 7 opening 1 by 1.

Man oh man is it annoying and time consuming. Cards only save up to 3 copies of each in the trunk which thats all you normally can have when making 1 deck anyway, however you will keep getting the same cards in a deck so to obtain all cards in one or obtain x3 copies of each will take tons and tons of buys.

individually 1 by 1. I literally did it on the first pack maybe 100x and havent unlocked x3 copy of all cards for it yet. Which is really messed up. Also its cool to be able to duel in each generation and witness the stories but they are JUST like gba once again.

Its a card for card game and you get a picture of a person and then text to read. No voice over. If not video, at least voice and stuff would have been super cool to see. But nooope. Also the dueling and the “mat” is set up just like any game you play today i guess? I was a fan until GX maybe a little bit into GX but that was it, so THAT is why i bought the game to try as up until now i played the gba variants for my yugioh fix.

anyway, its set up like today standards EVEN IN the first generation storyline. Meaning theres 2 upper spots for fusion and xyz summons and whatnot plus the 5 normal zones. Technically you can have 6 at one time it seems because of this and the AI once (later on) did just that before i used a Riegiki card.

So thats odd and annoying to see. And some characters arent shown. you got PaniK and Bones but you dont have the labyrinth twins you dont show the Duke devlin guy or fiendish 5 etc. So the stories are condensed it seems in a sense but they leave out these other key characters and awesome plots too so they can wrap up the story as fast as possible.

Lastly, its still awesome and sort of. worth 40 bucks, but they could have done a heck of a lot more and added to it to spice it up and be worth the 40 bucks. Within a month of release it was going on sale for 29.

99, that says alot imo. I knocked another 5 off with BB rewards so my price was VERY fair to me that i paid. Hopefully the next installment is better and done way better from having the choice of animations of monsters to buying multiple packs of cards to just a better presentation.

Some voices and stuff would be cool if not actual video segments. Also id say including perhaps a hidden game or two or all past gameboy and advance games in a “retro” mode would be suuuuper cool i swear.

Im not saying DS games, but just the gameboy line. Also add a Fast Forward option for the normal game as well as a super FF option if this retro mode happened. And lastly add some video segments or showings.

At the very least do it for when you beat a boss or for ending of each generation. Then again, a compilation like this may not happen again anyway. But thanks to konami and best buy for this game and purchase.

Fun games for group party. It takes collaboration and team work. Well lots of restaurant voices will come out. The game almost portray what happened behind the restaurant. So enjoy.

Great family friendly game thats good for kids and adults alike. Mainly good for playing in pairs or groups. Even serious gamers can enjoy this for a bit of a change.

Arrived in great condition. Game is challenging for both 1-2 players.

It was a very rare and refreshing experience to play a competitive-styled card game that wasn’t just a virtual proxy for the actual card game it is based on. Rather this game creates an actual lengthy and well-produced ADVENTURE centered around the card game’s mechanics, complete with full voice acting, drama (albeit silly hammy drama, but that’s exactly what you want from this sort of game, in my opinion), and a lot of actual completion goals beyond simply “build a meta deck.

” This game harkens back to an experience like The Pokemon Trading Card Game for Gameboy and less so to a lot of the modern releases of Yu-Gi-Oh! games where they phone it in hard with the production values and have the game simply serve as a tool to play cards rather than an EXPERIENCE crafted around the card systems.

Very fun and very charming, and extremely cheesy, but in a fun way.

I had never played Shadowverse prior to this game but was blown away. The game has very good production value, with full voice acting, beautiful card art, a nice soundtrack and gorgeous animated cutscenes.

This is a game that has definitely flown under the radar but is my personal GOTY. Massive amount of content, with many NPCs fully challengeable each with multiple decks and with individual rewards, dialogue and strategies.

I’ve sunk 75 hours into it in less than a month and there are no signs of stopping.

At first I was actually put off by the Anime character designs thinking this was more of a kid game. Fortunately this had a demo to try and I’m glad I did. The Game itself (its actually a card game) is very immersive and battling even the same person multiple times can have various results.

As you progress more cards become available and new opportunities to play other people and higher skilled players. It even has online matches and a reward system based on playing online. I DO NOT condone the money grabby practice of a battle pass you pay to get better loot on a full priced game with DLC.

Outside of this so far about 35 hours in I’m really enjoying myself and collecting the cards I just wish this game offered a different structure for the game itself instead of forcing you to be apart of the anime characters story and not your own adventure.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution has just received a free update that brings the total number of cards you can use in this game to over 10,000! It also bumped up the number of characters you can play against to over 150.

Even if you don’t keep up with the new rules, or if you haven’t watched Yugioh since you were a kid, you can still find enjoyment with this game. Story mode will take you through each character from the very beginning of the series, and you can observe and learn their techniques and strategies.

You earn in-game currency by winning duels and then you use that to buy booster packs to flesh out your deck. You also win specific cards from your opponent’s deck by defeating them. So just like in real life, there’s some luck involved with putting your deck together.

It’s very simple to play, the game will walk you through each battle step and will prompt you as you go along so it’s very user friendly. Truly the most complete, well put together game for people looking for a Yugioh card game simulator.

The game itself is excellent. The structure of the campaign and the duelist challenges is perfect along with the packs and duelist challenges being how you get the cards you want while filtering out thousands of what you don’t.

However this game crashes way too often and only when you’re in the middle of the game. You invest your time into a game and you’re about to set yourself up for a win only to have it crash and make it all worth nothing.

It’s this lack of stability that ultimately ruins the play experience especially with how frequent it happens. For me it’s an average of about 4-5 crashes a day on the low end. I hope they’ll update more stability into this game, but to my understanding this problem existed before they updated more cards into the game and the update neglected neglected so not a bright looking future for that.

I can’t recommend a game that’ll constantly stop abruptly on someone; that’s not how games are supposed to be made.

Slay the Spire is extremely addicting, and its been hard to set the game down. Be aware that this game is quite difficult, but I find the challenge part of the appeal. The premise of the game is to choose one of 3 character types (knight, rogue, wizard) and battle your way to the top of the spire using battle cards, relics and potions at your disposal.

The game weighs heavily on decisions. For example, you don’t regen life after each battle, but instead there are a few resting zones in each Act. When you reach those resting zones you have to make a decision to regen life (30%) or use it to upgrade one of your cards.

Other choices involve obtaining a new relic, which grants passive and active bonuses, but you may have to lose life or gain curse cards in your deck, which add negative actions when in battle. I really enjoy the decision-making aspect of the game because you have to make smart moves in order to get to the final boss.

This game is hard, and if you die, you go back to the menu screen and must start completely over. It’s frustrating, but playing levels over and over again improves your decisions and teaches you about each enemy and their move set.

The paths for each Act change with each new game so this keeps things fresh. Finally, the graphics/art style is excellent. There isn’t much to music for the game but the enemy and battle sounds are nice and engaging.

I play this game exclusively on the Switch Lite, and the text is a bit small, but I still find it manageable. Overall the game is excellent, and it will be a game I keep in my Switch carry case unlike many others I finish and have no plans to revisit.

I first played Slay the Spire through PS+ but realized I enjoyed it so much that I needed a physical copy should I allow my subscription to lapse. I also wanted to support the game studio and publisher.

Many heroes, many runs, you learn more each attempt, and enough randomization to make you come back for more. Stunningly terrific.

Ive been paying that “other” competitive, collectable card game for so long, it was time I started lloking for another type of this-type of game. The first one I started researching was this, “Slay the Spire”.

Seeing that it is a PC AND an XBox game raised my interest, since I wanted some more console games. This is a perfect fit, since the console version loses nothing to being played on PC. So I bought it for XBox.

OH it is FUN and engaging, and gives that “keep playing a liitle while longer feeling.

Absolutely! This has everything the console version has and so much more! It has 2 extra campaigns, upgraded visuals and animations. It has the updated rule set to allow for ‘Link Summons’ plus a whole host of new cards and challenges.

Anyone who hasn’t played this game, this is the best Yu-Gi-Oh game out there! If you would like to play and have followed the anime at all as a child this game follows those stories very well. I would highly recommend.

Finally, a Yu-Gi-Oh game that gives you access to all the cards you would ever need without having to pay for in-app purchases. The story mode is a good way to catch up on all the new shows that I never had the chance to watch.

Intellectually stimulating with a great storyboard to keep any fan of the game entertained for hours.

I put this order through and it arrived the next day! It wasn’t even 24hrs! The game is a legitimate new game and can in a cushioned envelope for extra protection. I am happy with my order.

I never played Gen 4–fell off Pokemon after Gen 3 came out, so this is quite the experience for me. The game runs great and find it challenging as well so far. My only issue is how finicky the controls are in moving–both D-pad and stick.

It’s hard to explain other than awkward, stiff, tricky, and a bit disorienting. Controls on the gen 3 remake on my 2DS XL didn’t have issues of keeping the character in a grid-focus pattern when walking if using the D-pad, but here it seems to get desynced, causing some awkward collisions into walls, trainers and walking around them, and even jumping over a cliff when I only wanted to stand behind it.

Of course you got the EXP Share All forever on just like in Sw/Sh. which has been useful but prefer it there was an option to turn it off than be forced on–is a minor annoyance honestly. For some reason you can access your computer still but only for the ball sticker feature.

that you can do at any time on the menu screen. rather redundant and unnecessary thing for you to access your computer like that. It’s a bit difficult to tell if I’m going to hit the collision of the “back of a building” when going east/west or not because of the angle of the camera and how the characters desync from the grid-pattern when using the D-pad.

I’ve only gotten up to the 2nd gym and having a good time. The music, the graphics, the story thus far, the pokemon. I’m loving it. Just wish the controls weren’t so. odd.

So I played through it over the weekend and finished it from start too beating the elite four. Did 7 hours of the underground feature. For a youtube review. Here is my thoughts briefly. The graphics are actually fine , I played it 100% portable , did not offend me one bit.

I felt the shared EXP ruined the experience, It made everything way too easy. I was overpowering everything. By the time I got to the elite 4 , my whole team were 28 levels above theirs. I did no grinding , just beating other trainers+ gyms and some wild pokemon fights.

I found the second biggest problem was a huge lack of variety in pokemon fights , I felt throughout my whole journey I just kept fighting the same 26 pokemon throughout. The trainers and gym leaders had nothing ” rare” or exceptional.

It got dull fighting Ponyta for the 63rd time. Team Galactic using the same pokemon also didn’t help. The legendary pokemon , I had Palkia since I bought the Pearl version. Was no challenge at all due to overpowered team thanks to exp share and I caught him with an ultra ball at 38% hp.

Which didn’t feel so legendary to me. Last thing It took me 11 hours 38 mins to finish the game. Ofc that number significantly increases if you want to complete the dex and lvl up multiple pokemon to max lvl.

So my verdict was a dissapointing 6/10. The underground is where I had the most fun , the main story was frankly bland and Team Galactic has the be the worst ” Evil” team in the franchise.

Graphics:Even if Game Freak or ILCA don’t want to update to the graphic level of Sword/Shield or Let’s GO P/E, they could have made it better. Mobile game Pokemon Master EX is a good example. They should have more and more delicate shadow/light contrast.

Sometimes shoots during battle look like jumping if the player operate just after a shoot cut. Also, they need to update the 3D models. They have been using the same models for around 10 years. Before 3D time, a new depict of each pokemon is one of the most attractive part of a new game.

Lastly, battle NPCs’ opening animation is awful. the 3D model with exactly same pose of old DP come first, then followed a new opening movement. It’s unreasonable. They should come with normal poses and then move to their branding poses like old DP.

Game play:I know why EXP share is introduced and I benefit a lot from it. I like it but I think sometimes it disrupted my paces. There could be an option or item for Pokemon to hold to avoid gaining exp or at least avoid level-up.

This revised model of the Switch comes with a number of features that I honestly can’t fully appreciate as someone who didn’t own the previous model. The big thing that drew me in was the extended battery life, even though so far I haven’t played much in handheld mode and not at all in tabletop, but they use the same amount of battery either way I would imagine.

The reason I’m giving this system five stars probably say more about how good it is than anything else. But I pretty much expected as much. I’m sure by now you can go online and find more detailed reviews for the gaming system, but in case you’re wondering here, this one comes with the system, two gray joycons, two attachments to turn each joycon into its own controller, a base to connect both joycons into the formation of a singular controller, the required cables, and the Switch dock.

So you’ll probably want to buy a few things alongside this such as an SD card for reasonable storage space, a pro controller for a more standard controller experience, maybe a dock sleeve to prevent the possibility of scratching the screen from insertion and ejection of the system, an online pass if you plan to play any games with online features.

just basically a lot of things that would be nice if they came with the system itself. This will inflate the price further, but the thing here is that this is going to replace the old models of the Switch and simply make this the main one manufactured now.

So. basically, if you want a cheaper Switch you’ll want to get a Switch Lite and this one will still cost about 300 bucks like the 2. 5+ year-old original variant still costs. That is, unless you want to go used.

I’m only bringing up these points because while this is a great system, I do think you should be aware of what is likely to happen with prices and availability going forward and plan accordingly. Once I realize a Switch was still going to cost the same if I wanted the ability to do on and off TV play I decided I might as well just hop on board with this newer variant.

I’d recommend you do the same as it has had tweaks to make it just a slightly better version all around than the previous model. Otherwise, if price is a concern, wait for the Switch Lite and see how it tickles your fancy.

Also, here’s tip. If you want to turn the system off as opposed to leaving it in sleep mode, simply hold down the power button on the system for a few seconds and then a menu will appear with the option to restart or shut down.

Also note that you cannot play on the TV off of the Switch’s battery power. The dock needs to be plugged in for the dock to function. I hope something in here was helpful.

I’ve owned my Nintendo Switch for three years, the games supplied for the Nintendo Switch never disappoint. The games are fun and interactive while also being able to be played with friends and family, this console and its games have brought much joy to nights in with friends and family.

My friends and I find ourselves playing the Nintendo Switch for hours when we hang out and my family has game nights once a week where we like to enjoy Mario Party, Mario Kart, and other multiplayer games made for this console.

The Nintendo Switch allows me to play old school games that I once enjoyed as a child, which bring nostalgic feelings. This console can last and be added onto by buying joy-cons and attachments for each game, the biggest pro for this console is the fact that it can be played alone or with others.

Enjoying the new and old games on this console with friends and family is always a good time, when the Nintendo Switch is brought up everyone involved is ready to indulge in all the great selections they have for the console.

One downfall for this system is that not all games from the past are yet available for the public to play, Nintendo slowly releases games for this console old and new. The only perk I could think of to fix this minor issue is having all old school games released when the Nintendo Switch was first released, this would allow more games to play that were once played by adults when they were children.

I recommend this console to anyone who enjoys Nintendo games, it can bring a night together easily with friends and family. This console is very kid-friendly and also has a huge adult fan base, all games can be enjoyed by any age group and allow individuals to play the games they enjoy together.

I purchased the Animal Crossing Edition Switch approx. 2 years ago and wanted to do a full review from a hardcore gamers perspective. For starters, I did not purchase my console from Home Deliveries USA but from a local, national gamestore but theres no doubtin my mind that Home Deliveries USAs product would have arrived quickly and as promised.

So, Ive been a gamer since the early 1980s as still remember getting my first atari, I enjoy all types of gaming consoles and have logged thousands of hours over the last 35 years or so. To be honest, I wasnt excited about the switch coming out as Nintendo has not really geared their products towards the hardcore gamer and have instead focused mostly on family style gaming.

Matter of fact, the last Nintendo console I had prior to the switch was the gamecube which most people know was a disappointment compared to other consoles that were out at the time. Like I mentioned , I bought my switch around 2 years ago and bought it as an impulse buy.

Covid was in full swing and I found myself as home more so I figured if I was going tp be at home then I might as well buy the switch even know I already owned the ps4 and xb1. Figured Id complete my collection.

The very first games I purchased were BOTW and Mario Odysey. Those titles are Nintendo specific so I decided I was only going to purchase Nintendo exclusive titles for the switch considering that I an buy the cross platform titles for my other consoles and save some money.

I was surprised at the initial cost of the switch games vs other consoles but soon learned that Nintendo does that intentionally but also that the carts retain their value more than disk based consoles.

I was very surprised at the game selection that the switch offers. As a game collector I was amazed at their hard copy selection which other brands dont typically release. Switch gameplay does seem a little dated and their graphics arent necessarily up to par but theres more to gaming than just graphics.

5/10 This is an awful game objectively if you compare it to any title other than another Pokémon game. However like I said, it’s the best Pokémon game in many many years, but you’ve got blinders on if you think this game is even close to “good.

” It’s okay at best. I would only recommend it to someone who absolutely adores Pokémon and is willing to accept glaring flaws and issues. Riding Pokémon like Wyrdeer is a clunky nightmare. Most of the time you jump with him he won’t make jumps, you’ll clearly see that he made it 3 feet over the edge you want to get up but he’ll miraculously fall down almost every time.

He is the antithesis of fun. You can prove again and again with him that this games development is mediocre at best, it isn’t designed for open exploration. Catching Pokémon is fun the first 50 times, and then the game asks you to catch or battles or feed or abuse every Pokémon some inordinate amount of times before it allows you to even finish the game.

Battling is fairly seamless but you feel more like a handheld toddler in a theme park than ever before. Approximately half the moves are just not present in the game. Items and abilities are done away with as well as online battling which is simply a disservice to a game that’s only alive today because of the competitive battling scene.

Exploring sucks. The game is sliced into 5 different explorable chunks that range entirely forgettable to gross to look at. Nothing about this game looks good other than the Pokémon models which are mostly reused from Sword and Shield.

I’ve hear a lot of people say they don’t care about graphics on the switch, but I would hope you aren’t okay with going back to Wii era visuals when Nintendo has proven you can make a beautiful open world experience with Breath of the Wild.

There is 0 stylistic intent in this game. It simply looks awful. Pokémon is all about music for me. This game couldn’t be a bigger let down for it. After remaking Diamond and Pearl in the horribly cheap way they did a few months ago, I was hoping some of the redone sound track would make it into Arceus.

Unfortunately they’ve reduced the sound to loops of elevator music and disparate jazz notes. All in all 5/10 is more than fair for this game. I certainly hope that the Pokémon company doesn’t make the mistake of going back to the ancient style of Pokémon games that they haven’t been able to improve on for 20 years.

This is the first step in the right direction since coliseum. Pokémon is literally the most valuable video game franchise of all time, I hope Nintendo acquires enough wherewithal to treat the games as such.

Let’s hope that they don’t blow it on the next one.

It’s got everything that I found lacking/disappointing about Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The world building is great but story a bit bland (par for the course, but you know). It reimagines a lot of aspects of the Pokemon formula almost from the ground up, and the resulting gameplay loop is very fun and engaging.

I wish the wild Pokemon behaviors were a bit more complex, but there are some unique and interesting interactions to be had with each species. Animations are generally a huge step up from recent Pokemon titles, with some exceptions due to the wider variety of environments they’re being put in (slopes, stairs, etc.

can sometimes cause buggy looking animation). This is the first game where I truly feel compelled to catch em all and fill out the pokedex, since it’s now built into the core gameplay loop, with increment rewards and a unique tasklist to complete for each species.

The music is great, featuring track remixes from the gen 4 titles; it ranges from the gentle, open-world ambiance of games like Breath of the Wild to the intense, fast paced music familiar to the series, all with inspiration from traditional Japanese music.

While imperfect, the game as a whole is a brilliant new direction for the series.

The team that designed and created this game are geniuses. This lockdown and stay at home business has me only moving from bed to desk to couch (occasionally to the kitchen or washroom if I am feeling adventurous).

I have put on the pandemic chonk! I was looking for a way to be able to exercise at home without needing loads of weights and gym equipment; that doesn’t involve following YouTube videos that made me feel like I am a failure because I am just not that flexible or that my stamina is atrociously bad.

I didn’t expect much from this game but I was so wrong. I have gone from having sedentary days to actually looking forward to exercising when my work day is done. I thought the novelty would quickly wear off and maybe this would gather dust, but no! I am addicted! You jog through worlds, collect items and fight monsters all with different fitness skills.

Fitness skills are introduced gradually and all the way through there are clear instructions (great if you’re like me and always ‘how do I do that again’). There are stretch warm-ups and cool-downs before you start the game; reminders to drink water, guidance on form and general encouragement.

I feel like I have a personal trainer in my home but one that pushes me enough (but not too much) that I enjoy what I am doing instead of resenting it. I absolutely recommend this to anyone. But especially to people who have found it difficult to get motivated to exercise or have extremely little history of exercising much.

This will get you moving and have you want to stay moving. I started with 5 minutes and there was no shame. Each day, I have been building it up getting stronger and my stamina is drastically improving! Gamified exercise is the way to go for all of us couch potatoes.

This is a very fan-service game. It has fun elements that its like a party game, but it gets repetitive really quickly, but its fun. This game is not available In the US because it too sexual. Its about having fun with girls and making them happy.

Its nice to have it on the Switch since its not as censored as the Playstation version; so its the complete package and portable, but the playstation has better graphics and a VR. So its up to the buyer.

This game isn’t worth more than $30 and shouldn’t be any higher. There really isn’t much replay or playability. I only had to pay this because it was the cheapest that I could find. There really isn’t any reason for this game to be overpriced like this.

I bought several other games that offer more game for over half the price of this game. That’s ridiculous how scalpers are really why this game is overpriced. It holds no value like that.

This game is all about the resort life. During these unprecedented events, its nice to experience a vacation, even if its virtually. The gameplay is simple yet challenging, the graphics are excellent for a switch title and the soundtrack is delightful.

Even if youre not a fan of the Dead Or Alive series, give this game a shot, you might just enjoy it!.

I would not recommend any purchase from Nintendo. this is the third time I buy something, and every time there have been issues. promised 30 minutes delivery on their website, it took almost a week. despite being a tech company they have clunky systems that prevent them to solve customer issues.

definitely not worth considering, Nintendo Switch is definitely my worst purchase of the last 20 years.

This game has been a lot of fun great when you’re in a group and want to play some short games. There’s a lot of choice and some are a little strange but most are great fun. I love the fact they’re quick and to the point.

Clearly a game designed to show off some off the consoles capabilities. Only giving 4 stars as it is a little pricey for what it is.

Amazingly entertaining and imaginative game! Get a little friendly competition going with your friend or partner! Great for parties or small get-togethers for hours of fun. There are 28 fun “mini” games that take only a few minutes to get the hang of- you face your opponent for most of the games.

I find this to be a cool approach to a multi-player game. There are also funny game demonstration clips to help explain how each game is played. If you got the new Nintendo Switch, give this game a try!.

Just an excellent platformer and slash-em-up. Many unlockables, including permanent upgrades. A great variety of monsters and biomes, with multiple difficulty levels to unlock – some enemies only appear at higher difficulties.

Been playing since Steam early access and have seen the devs put in a lot of work refining the game, both before and after release. It’s a steal at this price, a great addition to any Switch. (I’ve owned this on multiple platforms for ages – this copy was for a friend).

The game is good and it all came quickly in one piece. That being said, considering that it says very good quality on the description, the box is a bit tattered. Looking back I should’ve checked the pictures but I didn’t think to do it for a current gen console.

Overall though it’s a good game for a good price. The scratches at the bottom are the ones that irritate me, because my fingers are in constant contact with them.

Some of my favorite games of all time are Enter the Gungeon and Binding of Isaac. Dead Cells is a refreshing, interesting, and actually funny game that does alot with simple gameplay. Get this game.

I just barely got back into gaming last year. I tend to be a very picky gamer, liking only what I like and nothing else. I saw Bayonetta, in passing before, but never really understood what it was about and forgot it about it altogether.

Back then i missed a good chunk of excellent games, that I missed out on, due to not having the latest gaming consoles or better quality television. I until recently this had a old tube tv only capable of playing Xbox or ps2.

Fast forward to today I pondered,”why did I give up on gaming?” I figured I was getting too old for video games! I need to be a responsible adult now! But. that all change while I was in youtube, looking at random videos like always, when I stumbled upon people’s reaction to bayonetta being on smash bros.

I was mainly curious to see how they would reaction to her revealing. For some reason I can’t explain, I got hooked! I wanted to see more of this bayonetta, I wanted to know more of what the game was about.

So I started to watch gameplay and commentary of both bayonetta and bayonetta 2. I was loving what I was seeing action, quick witted remarks by the main heroine, ridiculous over the top cut scenes and the general badassery that is game brought to the table.

One problem. I did not have a wii u or a modern television. Once both items came into my possession I ordered bayonetta 2 with bayonetta 1 bouns! All I can say is that this game lives up to the accolades gamers alike shower upon this franchise! All I can say is that bayonetta rekindled a passion to play video games again! Thank you!.

I’m not a lover of hack and slash games but I loved this one sincerely. I begrudgingly trudged through several God of War and similar titles and don’t usually enjoy the combination of repetitive, violent combat and simple puzzles.

But Bayonetta 2 is special. It’s zany. It’s ludicrous. There’s never a dull moment. It plays great on the Wii U gamepad. It would have been nice if they had used the Wii U game pad for weapon and items selection and for the store but it all works out great.

Even if you’re not into hack and slash games, put this in easy mode and simply enjoy the bombast of it all.

Beautiful visuals and great character/enemy/set design, thrilling and frantic gameplay, excellent combat system with easy-to-use but challenging-to-master combos, super fun bosses, loads of content, and more.

Story is a bit convoluted at times but thats not really the draw of the game anyway. Highly recommend.

Test the fabric of every social relationship you have and who you are as a person with overcooked. A really great simulation tool for therapists everywhere to pretend that people are working on conflict resolution or team building, when really what they’re doing is making sushi or burritos.

People have overhyped this game for nearly a decade and it is infuriating. The game is okay but it is not innovative It uses mechanics that have been built on since the PlayStation 2. The only thing that’s changed is accessibility and visibility, the switch makes it a lot easier for people to cross play and segment which means it’s being mistaken for innovation when really it’s all about putting it in front of people.

I’m going to give it five stars because I already selected five stars and I’m too lazy to go back, but don’t buy this game for anything other than having fun. Please don’t tell me that it’s a tool for making your relationship stronger.

It isn’t. You’re just making food and getting frustrated. That’s it.

This game is hilarious to play and frustrating. As a player you have to chop, cook, build orders and serve your dishes in what could be considered “extreme” conditions. Becareful because you can set your whole dang kitchen on fire and fall off a hot air balloon all at the same time.

This game was a complete underdog for my child but quickly became a top 5. Great 2 player game. Only downside for us was the load time.

Super fun with friends. I play this with my kids and we have a blast. The controls work well since there aren’t a lot of buttons to play. Wish more games were local multiplayer (couch coop) like this one.

Having played both overcooked 1 and 2, I think this one is a bit more polished, but pretty much the same gameplay.

It’s a fun game, but some of the rules are annoying. And the lack of options can be grating. For example, this game’s version of Uno-called Last Card-only allows 4player games. So you’re forced to use AIs if you dont have 4people.

This is the same problem Ubisoft’s Uno has, and its extremely grating. This pretty much affects any game with more than 2 players, and there is no absolutely no good reason for it aside from them not wanting to bother with the trouble of making it.

The selection of games is pretty varied though, and some of the games are clearly knockoffs of their more widely known counterparts. They play essentially the same, with the only big exception I noticed is Dominoes.

I grew up in a PR family, and we definitely DO NOT use the rules that are in this game. Still, it can be fun with some of the simpler games and can be handy for a Family Game Night. But you might find yourself reaching for You Dont Know Jack collections later.

I purchased this game for my son and he loves it because of the variety of games. You can’t get bore with so many options! There seems to be something for everyone. It is great to take on the plane or to keep busy while waiting somewhere because of the variety and some games are quick to play.

The games are knockoffs of popular games such and Parcheesi and Uno, but just as fun. I will say that Parcheesi type one is impossible to win against the computer. You are continuously sent back to start and there really is no strategy.

It is all luck and bad luck for human players. The rest are all pretty good as far as difficulty and ease of winning. Not too easy and not too hard. We have not tried playing online or against each other, so not sure how well that goes.

Overall, I do recommend it.

I pre-ordered this game the day I found out it was coming to Switch on a game card. The collection of 52 games (piano included technically isn’t a game) is great and fun to play. There is a downloadable demo on the eShop that lets you play four games including dominos and connect four without owning the game, while enabling a game owner to play locally with up to three other Switch consoles not owning the game.

The games range from basic like War up to Solitaire and even Bowling, so there is a range of skill just casual pickup and play games included. Bowling plays great, like an improved version of the Wii Sports game that offers great visuals and feel with the HD Rumble and a joy-con in hand.

It even features little Nintendo nuances like being able to place the Switch console in portrait mode and have the screen adjust for that layout. Other games like slot cars let you have up to four consoles in a variety of layouts race against each other across multiple screens.

Each of the games offer a lot of replay-ability as well as challenges to show off your mastery of each game. Whether you are looking to play a game alone, online, or locally in party mode with family or friends, this game is well worth picking up.

Off the bat, it is an unofficial port of the original Gameboy Color that has been put into a Gameboy Advanced, which is mentioned in the description of the item PROS: – Cheaper than getting the original game.

– It plays* – It is more fun than the original Legend of Zelda, at least the Gameboy Advanced version. – Being able use save states is great, it is better than starting from the beginning every time you start the game.

CONS: – *For me it plays and works great, until the (fan-“made”) game loses all of your saves, at any point that you turn off your Gameboy or DS, take out the game for another, play a DS game. Because of this, I barely feel like playing the game as I fear that my saves will be erased, for an unknown reason.

– You cannot do proper research on specific issues with the game, because it is a “fan-made” game. The only results you would commonly find only pertain to the original official game, where the common problem is the internal battery being either dead or dying.

– Forget about asking for help on this issue here, as you would get no response, bald face lies, or hostile replies. – Initially played up to the place where you would get your first key, saved and turned it off, later played the game again after playing a different Gameboy Advanced game, and discovered that my save was missing, played it again, same point, had to stop and thus saved and turned it off again, came back and the save was gone.

This was before I found out about the save state feature, so, I played it again, this time to test, (in short) saved, turned off, back on, no saves, both in game and save state was gone. Tried again, made it a bit further than getting the key, this time leaving the Link’s Awakening card in my DS, saved, turned off, came back, gone! Looked up any information, and no luck at all, tried to ask for help on the issue and still have not gotten any, just laughed at for my problem and been called a liar.

Before I asked for help, I started again, and so far, as of July 7th, 2022, my saves of nine hours are still there, mostly because of what I mentioned, my fear that my hard work and progress will be lost, if I keep playing it and turning off my DS, so now, I keep my DS charged whenever I feel it needs to be charged.

So, this game is a remake of a Gameboy game that came out in the 1990s, but I had never played the original, so this was my first experience with it. First thing I noticed is the graphics in the game are very cute – they are a cartoony 3D look that is very fun and gives the game a very nice aesthetic.

The gameplay itself allows for a bit exploration and roaming around, but you mostly have to do things a certain way to advance. There are several dungeons that you have to do in order, and there are some quests, like a series of item trades, that must be done in order too.

And sometimes what you need to do isn’t all that intuitive. You will often get hints along the way, but I had to consult online walkthroughs several times to get past a part that had me stumped or frustrated.

There are some puzzles, but I would say they are generally pretty easy, but sometimes I sure found myself confused. Although this is a Zelda game, it’s nothing like Breath of the Wild. I have only played these two Zelda games, but I have heard that Breath of the Wild is a major departure from the rest of the franchise because Breath of the Wild is an open-world game where you can go anywhere and do anything whenever you want.

If you’re gonna pay full price for a game and you want hundreds of hours of gameplay, get Breath of the Wild. But if you’re looking for a smaller, fun and easy game where you stay on the rails and follow a set story, you’ll get tens of hours out of this, depending on your play style.

This game isn’t at the top of my list for Nintendo Switch, but I do think it’s cute and fun for what it is.

I love this game! It is such a classic game. There are easy courses and very difficult courses. You can play by yourself or you can play with friends. (It is a lot of fun to run your friends off rainbow road 😂).

I definitely recommend this game if you are looking for a classic racing game. The controls are pretty easy to figure out and there are additional modes that you can play to make the game more interesting.

Awesome game. Lots of fun with 2-4 players. The best part is, for kids there is assistance mode where it will help you stay on the track and auto accelerate. You can turn off either or both. I honestly use the assistive steering sometimes because of the sharp corners in a lot of the tracks.

It doesnt completely steer for you it just keeps you from running off the track, and if you do it steers you back on it. The characters are great. My wife and I like watching the replays after the race to see the highlights.

Lots of cool vehicles to unlock and customize. You can change your character which changes the color scheme of the kart, then pick your wheels and parachute, all of which change the dynamics of the kart.

From speed, acceleration, weight and traction you can customize your kart depending on the track you select. Enemys are difficult on 150cc races and up which is a nice challenge. A few new weapons and some classics as well.

Great game for the whole family and a must have for all switch owners.

Ive played this game for a very long time (ever since the release date). It is a very fun game, and I still play it every once and a while, even after Ive done everything I can do in the game. This game has the most characters that have ever been in a Mario Kart game, and it has the most cups (with the downloadable content included) of any Mario Kart game since Mario Kart Super Circuit on the Game Boy Advance.

The downloadable content for this game offers a wide variety of new courses, characters, and kart parts to choose from, for only about $12, which you can get on the Nintendo E-Shop (you can use a Nintendo e-shop card that you can buy at stores, or use a credit card to add funds to your e-shop account on your Wii U online).

The new anti-gravity mechanic is also a very good new feature, as it plays a major role in the way the game plays. The game has some great online features as well, and allows you to play with your friends, or make custom races.

I have every Mario Kart game except for 2 of them, and this is my favorite one out of all of them. Overall, this game has a lot of features that are have been really nice additions to the Mario Kart series.
