I came upon this cardigan by chance but glad I did. It is lightweight but definitely adds some polish to your outfit. I really like it buttoned up (on the hem) in a criss cross design. Leaving it open does not appeal to me.

It does stay buttoned however I’ve found that the hem area will “buckle” a bit when using the buttons, meaning it doesn’t stay flat against your abdomen. I have (3) color though and they have definitely been a summer workhorse for me.

One addition, depending on your jewelry the cardigan can easily snag if you aren’t careful.

We just returned from a wonderful trip to the FL Keys. During the day it was often extremely hot and humid. Sleeveless seemed to be the only answer. But in the evening I would wear this stylish little cardigan over a sleeveless dress or top and it would step up any outfit to the occasion.

I LOVE wearing it over a white sleeveless tee with ankle white jeans. Love that pink pop of color and takes the chill off AC. I WILL BUY A FEW MORE COLORS SOON. PERFECT FOR COLOR!!!.

I was happy to find this sweater in the lavender color, because it looked nice with my silver hair. I always want one thing in a pretty color for spring and this was it. The sweater is a little oversize and cropped looks good with denim or dress slacks with a higher waist.

I wear alone or with camisole under it buttoned up. The cotton is very soft and light weight.

I really like this sweater and think it will be a staple in my wardrobe. I bought a medium to make sure it had a looser, boxy fit, but it’s a bit longer in the sleeves. Paired perfectly with skinny stretch pants, love it.

This cardigan is absolutely GORG! I purchased it in lilac. It hits perfectly at my slim waist. I plan to wear it with mid-calf skirts. The quality is top-notch.

I just love the feel of these Alfred Dunner sweaters. In December, I ordered 2 red ones, one for myself in size 1x and one for my mom who wears a petite medium. Well, mine fit fine, but mom’s was small for the size.

Needless to say, I was disappointed because mom can wear hers as comfortable as I. Nevertheless I like these sweaters so much that I ordered 2 more for my self, size 1x. I ordered a plum and a hunter green.

the plum fit perfectly, the green is too small for the 1x sizing. I even put the green one on top of the plum to compare and sure enough there is about a 2 to 3 inch difference in size. The green is too small.

Now what do I do? I am going to order another and this time I wills order a 2x just to be sure. I don’t mind it being a little looser. I am concerned though, that when I wash them, as directed on the label, will they shrink? I would have given it a 5 star rating but for the sizing issue.

I bought this sweater for my mom. She’s a very small lady and the small petite fits her perfectly. She loves the sweater. It is very warm and very cute. The only problem was that the Zipper was very difficult to start.

We had to sew back the edges of it because they were getting caught.

I am always looking for things that are unique. This fills that bill. I love it. A real conversation piece.

Have bought the Westerly in both the solids AND 2 of the patterned sweaters! Love this iconic style; the ladies style (a little longer than the men’s) is very flattering on a woman. These sweaters are heavy (more like a sweater-coat) and very well made.

For additional looks and comfort there are zippers running both ways; again to take the bottom zipper up to the upper thigh/waist makes for a very flattering/slimming look. The patterned sweater now has a new color in the men’s version.

I do hope Pendleton makes the grey/red version available in the women’s style as well. I would definitely add it to my collection. Lastly, these sweaters are made for layering, so if you are wanting a tailored looked, I would advise you to size down.

This is a brilliant sweater. It’s not “soft” though – so don’t think you’re getting something snuggly. It’s a very nice, heavy wool and at first is a bit scratchy. But that gets better with time. At first I wore a long-sleeve shirt under for a while to make it comfortable.

After a couple of dry cleanings, I could just wear a t-shirt under it and that was fine. It’s super warm, and true to size, so if you want to use it like a jacket, over a lot of other clothes, you will want to size up.

I got a Large some years ago and that was okay as long as I just had a thin shirt under it. So when they went on sale again this past month, I got an XL and it’s much better for me as a jacket-type piece of clothing.

This is the second time I’ve bought this same sweater, so obviously I would recommend it to everyone.

This sweater, like anything you’ll buy from Pendleton, is of phenomenal, heirloom-like quality. True story: I bought one for my buddy for Christmas to help him channel some dude-ness; my wife bought me one for Christmas.

We went to the Pendleton store the next day, my birthday, in Ft. Collins because I was off on the size for my buddy, and I ended up buying one for my wife. We then proceeded to all wear our sweaters for shopping and, maybe, a birthday beer and shot at Ft.

Collins’ oldest bar. We all three got the gray sweater rather than the cream. It’s beautiful and immediately makes you want to fight nihilism and search for your rug. The weight and quality are magical.

Also, no joke, I bought the Westerly-pattern socks. Their weight to warmth ratio is amazing. Suuuuuuper comfy!.

I love summer dresses – they’re comfortable, appropriate for all kinds of things from running errands to brunch to parties & events, generally wrinkle-resistant and travel well. A cropped sweater lets me wear them year-round and makes them appropriate for work.

The sweater is perfect for layering in the spring/fall, good to have against excessive A/C even in summer, and paired with leggings and boots takes my summer dresses through winter. I bought every color they had years ago the last time ON had cropped sweaters, and I’m so happy to be able to replace them.

They are an absolute staple in my closet. I selected the “petite” size to really keep the length perfect for sundresses that are often empire-waisted. I’m tempted to buy multiples in the same colors so I have backups in case I wear these out before ON brings them back again!.

For reference I am 5. 2 ft, 163 lb, 38b with short torso and broad shoulder. Most of my volume is lower half. I normally wear large in old navy shirt and sweater. Got black large. It is great for short torso gal and looks cute with high waist pants.

Stretchy and lightweight.

This cardigan sweater is adorable. I got the green one and the color is gorgeous. It definitely is thinner than I expected, but most rib-knit shirts end up that way. Something I would wear for sure on warmer evenings with jeans or over a dress.

Can’t wait to wear it this fall when uni classes start again.

I love the color and texture of this sweater but not the fit. It’s fit is on the snug size. If you can find the right size, then it would be great. But first I tried a PL and then a PXL and still it was too tight.

I bought this last year and forgot about it. Once I remembered it, it has been great to put on those cold days when I need something warmer around the house but don’t need a sweatshirt. I bought it in navy and it goes with almost all my tees.

I can wear it with a 3/4 length sleeve tee in the winter so I get more wear out of them! I wash all my cottons in cold water in the washer and hang to dry. It washed like a charm. Oh, and I like the pockets very much!.

I actually had one and managed to loose it. It was red. So, I was most anxious to replace it. The new one is more of a raspberry but totally fine and the color goes with most anything. It is comfortable, pretty, and feminine without being frilly.

The sleeves are generous at the wrists so rather than turn them up and hide the pretty embroidery, I simply added a small pleat at the bottom and sewed it with embroidery thread. Voila! It’s a great product.

I love anything with pockets and this jacket with its huge pockets is so convenient. Its a little sr. style but I love the light fleece lining which gives you such a cozy feel. It would be a great spring/fall outdoor cardigan and indoors for winter.

Sleeves are a bit long and I fold it which gives it a youthful look. I havent worn any other cardigan since i got this one only because it feels really good!.

I love the look, softness and warmth, however, the fleece lining sheds onto anything you wear underneath. I did not return them because I thought they were worth saving. I got out my lint brush and brushed every inch of the lining.

Even with that, they still shed. So I used my clothes shaver on both. They are now shed free, but it took effort. I still love them, but the manufacturer should upgrade the fleece lining.

Lovely cardigan, very thick and soft. Beautiful saturated purple color, just like the photos. A little shorter than I expected but still plenty of room. I got my regular size S and did not size down.

It is relaxed but not too baggy. I’d recommend keeping your usual size as going down might make the arms too tight or short.

This is a beautiful, medium weight classic cardigan that I’m sure I’ll wear on repeat with many tops and jeans or even dresses, The lilac is a beautiful shade that lifts my spirits when the weather gets cold and gloomy.

I’m between an XS and a S. Both fit well, but I sized up for an oversized fit. I defiant recommend!.

This cardigan is what i was looking for, but won’t be buying because I was looking for navy and could go with another nice color but none of the colors offered are appealing. Navy is offered in regular size but not petite which Is my size.

I am considering returning this pretty cardigan sweater. The colors are pretty and it is well made. I bought the petite small. However, I am only 4’11” and the style is a bit overpowering for my small frame.

The back is slightly longer than the front which emphasizes my short stature. I have not worn it or removed the tags so I’m struggling with the decision regarding returning it.

I just received this beautiful sweater coat. I am so happy I purchased this. I ordered the red in an XXL. This fit is perfect. I’d say it’s well made and heavy enough for 50 degree weather here in Michigan.

It feels like wool. It has some stretch to it, but, not enough to be out of shape. It’s very well made and I think it’s one of the best quality sweater coats I have ever ordered. This will last a very long time.

So happy with my purchase. I am 5’5″ and weigh 175 lbs, and the xxl fit perfect. With a little room, too. It goes well with dress or jeans and any style of black or dark shoes or boots. Dress it up or down.

It will last many years to come. Shipping was 5 to 7 days. I received in about 5 days. It came wrapped in heavy plastic. Just needed to hang a bit to get a couple of small wrinkles out. No problems. Pockets are deep.

Very nice cardigan. I bought the Large black. True to size and just a bit roomy. I can button the cardigan and have no rear cupping issues, viewing from the back and side. Which was important to me. I noticed that in several videos, a few ladies had on a size that was really too small, because either they buttoned the cardigan and there was a rear cupping issue or they couldn’t pull it together and button it and it cupped their rear anyway.

Either way I did not want mine to fit that way and thought maybe I should size to the XL but it was gone in black. But my Large came and it is perfectly sized so I am happy. It’s a well made cardigan and I agree with some reviews that have said, probably the nicest item from Denim & co I’ve purchased.

It is a nice weight. Fabric is substantial and feels good on. The knit is nicely done. It’s not so heavy that you’ll roast in it, but just enough if there is a chill in the air you can be comfortable wearing it out somewhere.

I suppose I should have washed it prior to reviewing, I’m trusting that it will wash nicely.

I have not ordered anything from Denim & Co in years then I saw this Cardigan and it was calling my name. Although I thought it looked good on the models they all seem to be wearing it a size to small.

Hugged there butts looked Unflattering from the side. I realize some people like to wear things more fitted however I am not one of them. For that reason I decided to go up a size from a small my regular Q size to medium also for layering.

It fits perfectly. I am 5’ 124 lbs and it falls just to the middle of knee. It is structured and soft and so flattering the hood lays flat and doesn’t pull the front of the cardigan up. The plaid matches perfectly.

This is the first TSV in a long time that the Quality fits the price. Even the price it is now this Cardigan is worth it. It really has a wonderful weight to it. Not heavy but enough so that this can be worn in Fall or Winter here in Georgia.

Also would be fine to wear indoors or in an office space that may be too cold. Cant wait to wear this with a white Tee and jeans. I purchased red/black combo and the Navy/ Gray is on its way. So happy I ordered 2 of these.

This sweater is very stylish, comfortable and most importantly the right weight to keep you warm but not hot. I received a lot of compliments on another one I bought previously in another color. I love it and I am sure this one will be no different.

Quality control issues. Bought two sweaters for elderly stepmom who is always complaining of being cold. One was oerfect, the other the zipper did not work and returned for replacement. Same zipper issue with replacement and returned for refund.

Very disappointing to have to pay for returns that are defective.

I love that it’s part wool but not enough to itch. It’s cut generously. I have it in 2 colors. Great for layering over turtlenecks which coordinate with the cardigans. Great purchase.

Knew the minute I saw it that I had to get this but waited patiently til I got a discount code although probably still would have got it full price as it’s worth every penny. Hands down the best winter cardi, really thick & warm.

Really well made & perfect length, I’m 5’8” & it’s mid calf length on me. The pattern is way out off my usual plain choice but I’ve had loads of compliments wearing it. Did I mention it has pockets?? I’m a 12 top and got the medium, probably could have got away with small but prefer slightly bigger.

Great sweater for the cooler months. Well made, substantial, good fit, and very cozy! I have three issues with it: 1 – the current concept of an open-front garment is that it not only has no closure such as buttons, but it is also not designed to even be pulled closed, against a breeze, for instance.

I do not like it, but that’s just the way it is these days, regardless of who makes or sells it. 2 – I do not mind an LL Bean logo on the garment, again a common practice these days. But on a contrasting stripe on the back? This is otherwise a pretty classy sweater.

3 – on-seam pockets, or no pockets, if necessary, would have been better. The patch pockets appear sloppier when wearing than in the photos. All that aside, this is a quality item, as I have come to expect from LL Bean, very satisfactory.

I’m 5’7 220lbs And preferred large in petite length. I bought a midnight black regular length in X-Large and am returning it now because color is a much lighter dark gray heathered color than expected and because I also bought a bright blue one in petite large ( only size that was available) and I prefer petite length.

Also – and this feels like a ridiculous complaint to post but – the regular length hurt my neck! pockets are huge and that is great what I need for mornings taking kids to school but in regular length the weight from my keys, phone, wallet pulled on my neck in way that I know gives me a headache.

To me Petite length also looked better and was still long enough to cover my rear and fall at my low hip, plus weight of full pockets pulled across my shoulder not right at my mid neck. I am buying other 2 colors available in petite right now because these are great.

I just received this and am holding myself back from ordering another one immediately until I actually wear and wash it. I’m a nurse practitioner and need a tasteful warm up. This is so soft and comfortable that I want a second one for the office and third to keep for home.

I ordered a Medium, per their description of “generously sized” and I’m glad I did. I typically wear ~10, give or take per brand, and the Med is big enough to easily fit long sleeves underneath and not look too big and sloppy.

I will be putting it in the dryer and I fully expect it to come out just fine. I ordered the “midnight black” which is actually a charcoal gray. Straight black would be better but this is still quite dark.

When much younger, l was a model, also, a coordinaand commentator of fashion shows. D&D’s cardigan is a show stopper. The top of the garment is a sparkling silver blending down to. a mix of predominantly black sprinked with silver.

The cardigan can be worn with a. long skirt, slacks, or tights. It is excellently made of beautiful material. I highly recommend this cardigan and the manufacturer’s products. I have been purchasing their clothes for years.

I wore the blue to my grandson’s wedding and received many compliments. I had planned to wear the gray but when received the seams on the shoulders were defective. For some reason there was a partial black line along both shoulder seams and made it look very cheap.

The blue one was perfect but not the color I had intended to wear. I gave 4 stars but would have given the gray only 3 stars but the blue would have gotten 5 stars because it was pretty and comfortable.

I kept watching the item for a while before purchasing it. Thought it might be too flashy for a non-holiday event. I also purchased the tank inside to match the sweater. Love both of them so much. Wish I bought it earlier.
