I love this little number! It matched perfectly with my hot pink boots. I usually wear a large in tops (kind of busty) but I could’ve sized down to a medium because of the loose fit. I highly recommend it!.

I really like this cardigan! Heather blush is such a pretty dusty color, and I love how soft and lightweight this cardigan is. I like wearing this to work in the office or on milder nights. As someone who is very, VERY sensitive to fibers, however, this sweater is just a tiny bit itchy, and I’m hoping it’ll soften up after a wash or two.

The sweater does get a little fuzzy after some wears, but it’s not too bad. Sizing – I bought this in my usual size M, though I definitely could have sized down if I wanted to. I love the loose fit – it’s slightly boxy when buttoned up and swingy when unbuttoned.

Sleeves reach to the middle of my hands, and cardigan is slightly cropped and hits right above my hips. Buy your usual size for an oversized fit, otherwise size down. I do wish the poly content was lower.

Madewell seems to no longer list percentages online, so here you go – 40% acrylic, 30% alpaca, and 30% polyamide.

I probably never would have bought this online, but I felt it in person and fell in love. The fabric is the selling point. It’s so soft, and oversized enough for the perfect slouchy cardigan look. The green is also so pretty in person.

I wish it was a bit longer, just because I don’t like cropped shirts personally, but it’s on the line of acceptable for my height. The sleeves actually come to mid hand on me so if you’re tall this will actually fit your arms.

Definitely size down in this! I usually wear an XS, I got a XXS and it’s stilly plenty boxy and oversized without making me feel like I’m drowning. I’ve returned some Madewell sweaters in the past for being too cropped, but this one is great — I’m 5’6″ and it hits just a few inches below high-waisted jeans.

I got this in grey to start and fell in love. I automatically ordered 2 black ones. I’m a medium, but went with the L/XL since I didn’t want the arms to be snug as some reviewers mentioned. When I got the black ones in I planned on using one to lounge in and the other to wear out.

But it was so comfy and lightweight I thought my mom would enjoy it and typically wouldn’t buy something that long for herself. I wanted to get her one originally but she’s an XL-XXL depending on the style and brand so I didn’t think the L/XL would work.

I decided to have her try on one of my new black ones and it fit her perfectly. I’ll be ordering more for myself and probably for my 2 sister in laws who will love to wear especially working from home now.

I wish there were more colors and a plus size option for others as well.

This wrap is the perfect wrap. It is super soft and comfy. It has POCKETS!!! The fabric is like a thin cashmere sweater. I wasn’t sure on the sizing. I usually wear an XL to XXL t-shirt, and a 20-22 jeans.

My chest is a 40D. I wasn’t sure that the L/XL (the larger of the 2 available sizes) would fit, bit it fits wonderfully. It is plenty big and gives me room to wrap it around and add a belt if I want.

I could probably wear the smaller size for a more fitted look. And can I just say again, it’s incredibly soft and I live the pockets. I already have the black, amd will soon be ordering the gray. If there were more colors, I would order them too.

An olive/earthy green would be fabulous – hint hint!!.

I read the reviews and sized down. I wear a large in the t-shirts. Bought this in the s/m. Let me tell you the arms are tight. I can only wear this with a sleeveless top. For reference I am 5’5″ 170lb size 38dd.

Will try again with the l/xl when I have something else to order. Lightweight material that will be good in this warm weather. Wouldn’t be substantial enough for cool temperatures.

I am pleased with my beautiful Karen Scott sweater in black. It is a good value. It has beautiful buttons, and the fabric is soft like a kitten.

Ever since this was delivered, it has been my go-to sweater. It is lightweight and layers well when I need a little warmth. The main reason I wear this so much is the color. It is a nice blue that goes well with black pants or jeans.

Ive worn it to a nice restaurant and to a ball game – it all depends on what you pair it with. I wash it in the machine on gentle and dry it flat.

The color was true to the photo. The yoke gives a perfect fit on the shoulders. The length of the sleeves and the hem fall at a perfect place. It is a light weight and not bulky.

This is a lovely merino cardigan with a beautiful drape. I find I’m loving merino more these days for its ability to be worn year ’round, easy care, and non-pilling qualities. This is a nice blue grey color which I find more flattering than a cool ash grey.

I’m not usually a fan of open cardigans but this has nice coverage and doesn’t fall to my sides making it (and me) look frumpy. I can wear it open or belt it without creating bulk. The side vents at the hem are a nice feature without being slit too high up the sides, and the pockets are perfect! The arms are fitted, while still allowing me to wear a LS button up under without much of a struggle.

The price is so good for such a high quality piece!.

I really love Quince products, but this one did not meet my expectations. This Merino Wool pills more than their Cashmere does. The arms of the sweater are a more narrow than their other sweaters and shorter too.

Also, I hand washed this sweater with room temp water and special soap and it shrank considerably. SIZE UP! In addition, the little front pocket started to come undone after only a few wears. Loved the color.

Loved the versatility of this piece. Very soft. Best for a cool (not chilly) spring day.

I purchased this about a month ago, and I’ve been wearing it at least three days per week ever since. I’m a teacher, so this kind of sweater is practically part of my teacher uniform. I love that the wool keeps my temperature regulated, and the color is a perfect neutral for most outfits.

I loved it so much that I purchased the other two colors. However, I just washed this for the first time, and two tiny holes and one dime-sized hole appeared. Seriously? I just checked it before watching, one of the tiny holes was sort of visible before washing, but this dime-sized hole appeared out of nowhere.

And it’s right on the front, of course. I had thought this was a good bargain for the quality, but I wouldn’t purchase anything that starts falling apart on the first wash. I’m going to return the other colors when they get here, and mend this sweater so it doesn’t end up as fast-fashion trash.

I was super excited about this brand, but not anymore.

This cardigan is beautiful. I’ve been searching for a good cream cardigan for ages. All of the others I ordered from other brands were either very yellow or bright white. This one is just like the picture.

Fit is perfect too, just hits right slightly below the waist. Perfect for me because I have big hips so longer cardigans look terrible and boxy on me. I’m 5’6, 136 lbs, 29 inch waist, 38 inch hips, 34DD and got it in Small.

I don’t wear my cardigans buttoned, but if you do. yea this one will be a pain to take on and off. Button color was exactly as pictured for me, but the buttons are indeed much bigger than the holes, making it a struggle to button and unbutton.

Again, not an issue for me as I don’t like the look of buttoned cardigans. But if you do, I’d pass!.

This cardigan fits really well. As someone who regularly wears petites this regular size was actually perfect. The chocolate brown is absolutely Sumptuous and the sweater is very soft and not bulky so it won’t add a lot of heft under a blazer.

A perfect Fall addition to my wardrobe.

I love this cardigan. Having tried L and M sizes the small fits perfectly despite being a size 14 generally. I wore it in the evening on holiday and the 2 buttons at the top were extra cosy. After washing it still looks as good as new.

This is a well made and styled midweight cardigan for warm and cool weather. The sweater ran true to size.

I have this same sweater I purchased last year. The sleeves on this one are about half the width; no human could put their hands through them! I bought a couple of different sizes and they are both like that, so it isn’t just one that’s defective.

Very odd fuzzy material – its a Straight acrylic so I guess thats what ya get. Time will tell how it stands up – seems like it will pill easily though…?

No note of the fact the buttons are a fake pearl. I probably would not have purchased. I thought they were just white. They look cheap and the sweater quality is not cheap.

I thought this one would be the “one” but it failed on a couple of fronts. First off it is very thin, which means see-through. The material is so thin that at the back of the neck there is a small hole at the seam which could turn into a larger hole with time.

The other problem is that it is not easy care. When it came out of the wash (and I use cold water, delicate cycle) it was wrinkled. I hate ironing! I took it out of the dryer right away too. On the other hand, it is a beautiful style and I liked that the length covers my backside.

Also I liked that it has pockets. I am keeping it as I hate returns! It would be perfect if it was thicker cotton!.

This is a truly great sweater! I have quite a few cable style sweaters that I wear. But the cables can annoy me after a while. Also, they are heavy when all I need is a light layer. This sweater is perfect.

Very lightweight, roomy enough to be comfortable, and soft against my skin. It has become my “go to” sweater whenever I need a light layer just to take the chill off. I am a petite but purchased the regular size to ensure that it would be roomy.

It is a bit long, but I am still very pleased. It looks good on me and I feel good in it. I can highly recommend this sweater.

I just bought this cardigan in black last night. I washed it this morning (following the tag directions) and it SHRANK! It is no longer oversized and looks like a joke. Its 100% cotton – this should not have happened – only the cheapest cotton will shrink with normal instructed washing.

I am so disappointed, I was really looking forward to wearing this and it is completely unwearable now. I expect far better quality, both from LOFT and at this price point! SIZE UP if you ever plan on washing this piece!.

I absolutely adored this sweater when I first tried it on! It was super comfy, just the right amount of loose, and a beautiful color! Much like other reviewers below, I washed it to the specifications on the tag and it shrunk many many sizes.

I can’t wear it now 🙁 This was my first wash because I always clothes before wearing them, so I sadly never got to enjoy it! It is a great sweater, and I’m sure if you just hand wash it will be fine, but I wish the instructions said that! I would give the product a 1 out of 5 if you follow instructions, but I am going to try to return and purchase again and hand wash! If it holds up, 5 out of 5!.

Great fit. Very comfy. However, the color was not accurate at all! I bought it in Roseberry. It’s a very vibrant and deep red in the photo. In person, it’s significantly dustier in tone and more mauve than I expected.

I’m still keeping it because it feels great and the color is still nice even if inaccurate. But I’m disappointed by the inaccuracy.

The color red is really pretty. I love the length. I took one person’s advice and sized down and that turned out to be a good decision. Unless you like a cardigan to be oversized you could easily order a size down.

I most love that the seam of the sleeves are at the shoulder which on me is more flattering than the slouchy drop shoulder style. It’s a super cute cardigan!.

I thought it ran big & sleeves were short for me in regular. I am tall with long arms & legs so normally I do need talls. if you are in between, go with the tall on this one. Perfect style, a bit baggy and comfy.

i did get most colors but missed the salmon/pink one in my size. oh well, plenty of other nice colors! Have not worn yet. still too hot in Chicago so don’t know how they launder yet???.

I love these cardigans and have several colors. Very generous fit. I bought both the red and green. I love the dark green, but the red is not really red. More of a burgundy/rust color. I will be returning.

Hopefully more colors will be available.

For some reason, many retailers seem to make product color options, to suit their own interests and control standards. For instance, there are some lingerie items, such as a nylon culotte, to be worn under skirts, that I know consumers have been wanting to see in pink, blue and red.

I have seen them offered in red, but the instant I do a search to purchase the red ones, the color options change again. The month before I purchased the above Cardigan, the Ameri-Mark site had given many colors such as lavender, that were not there when I went to order it only a month later.

So I would have like to have seen some of the colors that seemed not to be offered when I made my purchase, such as the lilac or lavender. Although , I am sure Ameri-mark might argue that there are lots of other color choices in this particular cardigan item I would have wanted even more color choices.

The above Cable Stitch Cardigan, I purchased from Ameri-Mark was actually in a seasonal holiday sale category when I purchased it, and I wanted to buy two. But somehow my coupons bounced back and they put only one sweater request into AmerMark.

So, although I did rate this item as a four star item, because of its usefulness, classic appearance and seasonal necessity due to it, being somewhat lighter than a summer jacket, my order with this item was not as clearly made as as some other orders I have made with Ameri-Mark.

Of course my “Sweater Cardigan” arrived in a very expedient time frame and in very good condition. I plan or purchasing it in other colors.

I ordered my second sweater. Colors are beautiful and rich. Very nice shade of colors. I get compliments every time I wear them. Very well made. Good quality. They look dressy. I love the pockets. Definitely will be ordering more colors.

I suddenly found myself in need of a lightweight summer sweater when I realized I was missing a whole box of clothes from last summer. Eek!! I love Nordstrom’s customer service and the fact that you can order and pick up in store on the same day so I have been turning to them lately for last minute clothes shopping when shipping takes too long and stores are still closed due to lockdowns in Ontario.

I definitely recommend this sweater, which is higher quality than I would have guessed for the price point. It looks elegant and rich and the tan color is actually more of a greige. I was torn between the tan and the gray and happy I ordered the tan.

It’s the perfect neutral to go with just about anything. I honestly wish they made this sweater in a shorter length as I would order that one as well. The longer length is great for topping leggings or wearing around the house.

The weight is perfect for indoor air conditioning or a breezy morning outdoors and pairs well over a tank or camisole. For reference, I ordered the small and am 5. 5, 137 lb.

This black open front cardigan was purchased, in fact two were purchased, for family member that travel for work and need a versatile layer, or when running errands with the kids and in and out of the car and wrangling kids and bags and need a quick wrap, for both occasions looking polished and put together.

The weight is great, not too light, knit provides good body but cardigan hangs nicely. Superior quality for the price. I added a pashmina style scarf to the Nordstrom gift box (who doesn’t love a present from Nordstrom).

I am retired and shop less but Nordstrom is my go to for gift shopping for a price/quality ratio.

I hope this is something that Nordstrom will keep selling forever because it will never go out of style and I think everyone needs a basic cardigan. It does run a bit big so order your normal size if you want it slouchy and oversized (it won’t look sloppy though, this is a nice, clean-lined cut); size down if you want it to look more tailored.

I think it’s a teensy bit scratchy but it doesn’t bother me much. I hope it’s part of the anniversary sale so I can get a few more colors. Buts it’s worth full price too.

Overall: great for people who are proportional (recommend for them), not so much for the larger chest but smaller everywhere else gang (don’t recommend) Size: small Color: green My stats: 5’4” 120-130lbs 34DDD Overall the sweater is great; great color (green), length is great (right on the hip), sleeve length is great, slightly fitted.

However when you go to button it major button popping issues. I am 5’4” slim/athletic build with 34DDD so this is nothing new. J. crew unfortunately has yet to show me a button down nor cardigan that isn’t too baggy yet isn’t about to pop open.

It would be helpful if it showed online the difference between the sizes on things like sleeve length and torso length so we can know whether it’s worth trying a larger size so we aren’t flashing people.

I purchased this cardigan online in green. It’s a beautiful shade and I instantly fell in love until I noticed they used white stitching on the tag. The white stitching was visible from the back and very obvious against the green.

It just made the sweater look cheap. I have quite a few factory cardigans and this is the only one like that. I was afraid I’d snag the sweater trying to remove it so I just returned it. Fit just like my other factory cardigans.

I like to wear it open over a cami so I purchase it small for a fitted look on my arms. I do not button it. For reference I’m a 32DD & 123 pounds and size 2.

Every spring I buy this cardigan from J. Crew factory in white, navy and a few bright colors. The Clare cardigan has been my workhorse of a summer cardigan for 7+ years now. I usually donate the white at the end of the season because I literally wear it out.

I was appalled at the quality of this cardigan when I opened my package today. It is the opposite of everything I ha e loves about the Clare FOR YEARS!! The cotton is hard, flat and stiff with no stretch.

There is no softness to be had and it has full-length sleeves. I pulled out some of my 4-5+ year old bright pink and green ones and their quality after all this time is still light years better than these brand new.

Please bring back the Clare, the quality soft cotton and the 3/4 length sleeve design. Quality and classics never go out of style J. Crew, and you can’t charge the same price for a thin, hard cotton, poor replica.

I ordered all three colors and I sized up because I wanted a more oversized look. Despite them all being the same size, they all fit differently. But they were still super cute, super soft and warm material.

The black one also isn’t pure jet black, but like a dark charcoal color.

My first impression when I saw this top was that it looked like someone’s grey cat shed all over it relentlessly. The finish really is not nice and looks a bit cheap. The fit also wasn’t great. Even though it’s meant to be oversized, the bagginess doesn’t fall in a flattering way.

To get it to look somewhat decent, I had to pull it entirely off my shoulders (lower than in the model pic).

This is my new favorite cardigan to wear. It is super warm and comfortable to wear. The only thing I worry about is maintaining the shape and condition of the material. It is an item that requires hand washing, or washing it on a setting that wont cause damage to it.

The size is exactly as Imagined it to be. I am a size s, and I purchased an S.

I was looking forward to receiving this cardigan and having it as a staple in my closet. (I also purchased the tank pictured with it. ) I normally wear a Medium so I ordered the S/M size. Though the color was nice and fabric was soft, it fit like a tent and not as slender as shown in the photo.

The sleeves were also different in person than what they look to be in the photo which made the shoulders look even more bulky. Also of note, the tank pictured with the cardigan is way off in person, color wise, like not even close in color, and should not be worn together in my opinion.
