20 Best Cardio For Abs (2022 Updated)

Lots I can’t do anymore due to mobility issues. But the Core Max enables me to finally get back to exercising along with using the Ab trainer. Works great together. I find it helps me exercise w/o harming my back or joints any further than they have been.

The instructions are easy to follow too. And it’s easy to operate and folds up neatly for storage. Perfect for the level I’m at presently.

Bought this during lockdown & wasnt sure what to expect. Thought I might use it a couple of times then see my use dwindle until it went back in the box. Easy to assemble & use, Ive done more & more each day with it.

Theres no real visible change as such but the aches & pains are easing. Been using it 2 weeks now & will keep on doing so. A great product & great value.

I love this product. I originally had bought this for my son but myself and my partner have been using this product, it really does the work on legs and arms. I am obsessed with this product. I can feel it is already working on my arms.

This arrived at our house a day early so our helper was not available. The box weighed 104 lbs. We brought the device upstairs by opening the box downstairs and taking out pieces. Instructions and included tools made it easy to assemble, but good to have two people share the load.

All parts were in the box, yay. Included were two good training DVDs. So far, everything including the rebounder works. Our only complaint is the movement is somewhat rougher than we’d like. We exoect we can use oil or graphite to improve sliding.

The reformer adjusts for both of us at 5’4″ and 5’9″. The owner’s manual says a user can weigh up to 300 lbs. That seems a lot for this size system. If we put the reformer on the floor instead of using the stand, we could fold up the device when not in use.

We like the stand but it cannot be folded. Overall, this is a good deal that soon pays for itself if one goes to Pilates twice a week as we did. Comment: the last time we were in a Pilates gym, the woman huffing next to me said she felt sick but believed she needed to use the gym anyway.

Having had a few relatives catch Covid, we didn’t agree, and for now we prefer working out at home.

This machine (Premier 700 model) is an excellent starter machine for those on a budget and who are do not want to spend a small fortune on a pilates machine (like myself). It’s a great value and performs very well.

It’s all mechanical and easy to figure out (plus you can replace most of the parts if needed). So far so good. I love the instructional videos that come with it. The instructor is very user-friendly and i really like her teaching style.

Explains concepts very well. I purchased the pull-up bar a few days later. The entire unit was easy to assemble, and i’m 65 years old. Again, this model is a great bargain for those starting out and those who cannot afford to spend a small fortune on a machine that may end up as a clothes drying rack later on (for those who lose interest in learning pilates).

I wanted something that was easy on my joints and can use well into my golden years. I think i’ve fount it!.

I love the machine. Or, I thought I did, for a short while. It is great for some of the (very) basic exercises, and I thought it was a good value because of the add-ons to customize to my (advancing) fitness needs /levels.

(and one of the key reasons I decided against the Total Gym was because I wanted a more pilates focused machine, that permitted the pull up bar or other such addons / upgrades. stronger cords, etc, oops).

My rating reflects that this 55-4266 is not compatible with the pull up bar. Not in any of the descriptions from many of the big sellers of this product (that I saw) , was this disclaimer ever made visible.

It was not until I tried in vain to figure out how to attach the bar, that I found out that it doesn’t fit. (Even on this website, the pull up bar purchase description indicates that it does not fit 55-5556 and the 55-5557.

I made a silly deduction, therefore, that it would attach to the 55-4266A). It was not until looking into the questions specifically about the 266, (55-4266A), on this website, (again, hoping to see if anyone else asked how to attach the pull up bar) did I see that the pull up bar is not compatible).

Sadly, I did not read that before I bought this machine (and the pull up bar, that is now useless). If you are looking to add any of the extra options, then understand that this machine is very limited! (Ironically, on the exercise guide inserts that delivered with this machine, the pull up bar is shown in more than half of the diagrams!!).

Consider what you want out of the machine and understand what you are buying for the price. (Regardless of the seller). Be careful not to advance in your fitness levels unless you have the money to buy a better machine within the next year because the lack of attachments / upgrades available on this model.

Purchased the Recumbent Bike w/Arm Exerciser ( Model SF-RB4936 ). Although its a nice piece of exercise equipment, for a very reasonable price, it apparently has a DESIGN FLAW ! While sitting with your back against the seat back, even with the seat adjustment moved all the way forward, it is very difficult to REACH, GRAB & HOLD onto the handle bars correctly while pedaling! At 5’10” tall, it is a challenge ! The seat, if it could be raised would help, as would IF the HANDLE BARS were either LONGER & or CURVED more inward toward the seat ! The video, of this particular bike in motion with rider, is somewhat deceiving ! It just isn’t as easy as it is demonstrated.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this SAME issue with this particular Model Bike ? Thus ONLY 3 Stars!.

I bought this for the upper body arm bike to continue physical therapy at home. The lower foot bike was a bonus. But I notice the tension sticks in both areas. The lower foot bike can loosen the tension enough for better motion, even though it still feels a bit sticky instead of flowing with smooth motion.

The upper arm bike isn’t loosening enough to make the stickiness of the motion negligible. I am hoping over time and use that will help. I am reviewing it first day out of the box and put together. I did notice the foot crank and hand crank attachments were both pre-greased and sticky to touch when we put it together.

If I am having the same issue after a few days I will try some WD-40 to see if that makes a difference.

I am a 68 year old woman who, before Covid-19, was very active. I bought an affordable elliptical that drains me after three minutes. In doing my research for spin bikes, I happened upon the Stamina Recumbent Exercise Bike.

This bike checked all the boxes. Affordable, sturdy, excellent instructions, easy to assemble, quiet, comfortable, and with the Back and Arm rests, it’s a pleasure to ride. I even ordered a Stamina folding mat to complete the set.

I am 49 and my go-to exercise routine for the past 30 years was running and going to the gym. Two years ago, I got burnt out on running and with the demands of family and work, it was difficult getting to the gym.

I first saw the Teeter LT3 on a shopping channel in Dec 2020. I was intrigued. I researched it by reading reviews and watching videos on YouTube, and decided to purchase the LT3 in Dec 2021. I am so glad I did.

My main concern was that it might not be as good of a workout since it seemed to be designed with people with joint issues or surgeries in mind, but that is not the case. Thanks to my Samsung exercise app, I compared my Teeter workouts with past workouts at the gym, including both the elliptical and the exercise bike.

I burn more calories using the Teeter than either or those for the same period of time. Customer service was excellent too. The Teeter LT3 was delivered with a week of ordering it (from Washington state to Tennessee), even during peak holiday ordering time and supply chain issues.

The seat was minimally damaged during shipping (a small crack in the cushioning), and I contacted customer service via email over the weekend after receiving it, and a new seat was shipped and received with 3 days.

I am glad I spent a little more to get the LT3 for the upgrades. I’ve not used the LT1, but the upgrades are worth it to me. It is a quality machine. Before purchasing the LT3, I did look at exercise bikes and ellipticals in local stores and they were not of the quality of the LT3.

I love the convenience of being able to work out in my home and watch what I want while I do it. The Teeter really is as silent as they say, and it is also a great investment because I know it will be equipment I can use for years to come even if I one day do develop joint issues or surgeries.

Who uses it? Both me, 80 year old male with bad knees and bad shoulders 94 year old mother-in-law with hip replacement. Packaging: Well organized but outer box could be heavier. No way to reuse it if you want to return it.

Tetter said they would send a new box if I wanted to ship it back. Items were well identified and labeled. Assembly: Forget about using the included tool, unless you want to make it a lifetime project.

I used an electric impact driver and a small offset Philips ratchet which made it easy. A hand ratchet with hex driver is minimum. All parts fit reasonably well and instructions were very good. About one hour assembly time.

(I saw one review that stated things didn’t fit well, but also said his box was damaged. Probable got dropped and bent a bit) Quality: Very good. I’m impressed with how sturdy this thing is. Well made.

Operation: Very smooth and consistent. No noise. Resistance setting is nonlinear, I. e. , increases faster the higher you go. The seat extends a bit too far under your legs and rubs a bit. The hand bar adjustments are a bit of a pain, but manageable.

the readout is okay, but you need to memorize the segments, as their labels are tiny. Use: 94 year old uses it 3 times a day. calls it her bicycle. loves it. Me; going slow so as not to irritate my shoulders.

I read quite a lot of reviews on this Fan Bike before purchasing it. I will agree with many reviews on that this fan bike probably will not work for anyone very tall. I have the seat adjusted pretty high so that my legs can reach well and get the full stretch that I’m wanting.

It took several hours for me to put this together but I’m in my 60’s and not as strong as I used to be. I had one bolt on the handlebar axle that I absolutely could not get off and had to have my brother come over to help.

He couldn’t get it off either until we used a pipe wrench! After that, it all went well. I also had an issue with the seat as some of the other reviewers. The seat is padded but it just isn’t padded enough for me.

I just lay a piece of folded foam rubber over it and go, lol. It is still somewhat uncomfortable but I figure that has to do with my age. A teenager would probably have no issue with the seat. I cannot tell much difference in adjusting the tension, but still, it will be a good cardio workout.

All in all, I am happy with the bike so far and will post an update after I’ve used it for several weeks. Hope to loose some weight! UPDATE: I have been using this bike almost everyday for two weeks now and I am satisfied with it.

It fits me just fine and is working wellin its function. I still cannot tell a change in my body but I can feel my stomach burn if I tighten my stomach muscles while cycling so hopefully I will have some noticeable results soon.

I am disabled so I can only ride it for about 20 minutes daily.

I like this machine for workout. U do eight excerises and your workout is done in 30 mins It has excerises for your abs, stomach, buttocks, arms and inner thighs. Easy to use and it has three settings of level power fir u to choose from.

Well made, works well for easy abdominal exercise, for elderly me. Can be seated, sufficient and adjustable resistance, can be used on floor or even chair.

This is a well designed and quite well built unit considering the price. 7 function digital display unit works well, although I haven’t cross checked the heart rate monitor against one that has a sensor on your chest.

It was easy to assemble, really don’t need more than a few photos from the instructions to make sure you don’t have to redo anything (good thing, since wording is an imprecise translation at best). Main frame is plenty sturdy for a 200lb person, but the seat adjustment system and thin wall vertical tube could be a problem for a heavier adult.

If you have more than a 28-30″ inseam, you will want to do a modification like I had a friend do for me using a 1. 5″ sq piece of heavy wall square tubing with pre-punched holes (from Lowe’s) to add 6″ to the seat height adjustment.

Seat itself is quite good as is, and the handlebar assembly feels good both in texture of covering and it’s ergonomics. Pedals and rotating assembly are good quality components and very solid in terms of weight bearing and drive resistance.

It does in fact have belt drive and a decent tensioning system – should last lifetime of unit, but if multiple people use it you will get a bit frustrated with getting resistance back where you had it.

Never had one of these before, so can’t speak to the flywheel weight 18lb vs up to 40lb, but if you’re cranking it at 15kph or above I can’t see how it would make a difference. The 4 point adjustable leveling pads work great, and the little rollers make relocating the unit to another room a breeze, but it looks good enough to leave it in the living room full time.

And then there’s the water bottle – beautiful candy apple sparkle painted jewel that it is – don’t even think about using it for anything else but decoration; it’s raw low grade aluminum on the inside, and it produces black specs of oxidized aluminum within 30 minutes of water being introduced to its interior.

Overall, we’re really pleased with this purchase and will probably be using it for the next 10 years. I would just caution anyone buying one sight unseen that they may have to do some work on seat height (see photo) if they are over 5’6″ tall.

Light flywheel = unstable jerky ride The fly wheel is 18lbs. The flywheel is one of the most important things to look for when buying a spin bike but most people do not know this. Most spin bikes are in the range of 30 lbs to 50 lbs and for most people this range is fine for providing them with the smoothness and workout they want.

The big benefit of the heavy flywheel is the natural and smooth riding motion that gives a better and more efficient riding experience. A heavier flywheel makes the movement controlled and less jerky.

The heavier the flywheel the higher the combination of resistance and momentum that you can generate during your workout. That’s how you can enjoy a more realistic feeling of travelling uphill. 6/10 for this bike.

Get a heavier fly wheel.

Although the Cardio Recumbent Cross-Trainer was difficult to get into the house, it was easy to assemble. The equipment is of high qualilty and makes getting the kind of exercise the a 79 year old needs very pleasant.

It works a lot better for my purposes than a standard eliptical. My wife’s need for a way to re-habilitate after knee surgery was the initial incentive to look for and purchase a recumbent eliptcal exercise machine.

The HCI equipment has given her the means to rehabilitate her knee and continue to exercise her knees and legs. It is an excellent piece of the exercise equipment.

Have only had it a week but we love it, extremely well built, display is even bigger than we thought, smooth operation of seat, leg adjustment for peddles and of the hand angle/length adjustments. Installation took about 40 minutes after reading the directions, only issue was the wire running up the display neck, we had to take our time getting through the narrow opening about halfway up, but that was very minor.

Still trying to figure out the best program and at what resistance to use. otherwise we are VERY VERY pleased with this equipment.

Great recumbent, very sturdy, comfortable, and easy to use. The white glove assembly team was friendly and efficient. Exceeded our expectations.

We had been eyeing to replace our 20 year old exercise bike since March 2020 and when this bike went on sale we jumped to make the purchase right away. In summary, we should have bought this back in March as this bike is a big upgrade from our old one which was so noisy.

This bike was very straightforward to assemble–there are Youtube videos that you can watch that was quite helpful for the assembly process. The electronic display on the bike is very easy to read and the heart beat pulse sensor was very close to my finger heart pulse reader i have.

We leave the bike resistance on level 6 and we have over 400 miles of use (based on the odometer reading) and for the price i don’t think there is any other exercise bike on the market that can match this (and we did over 3 hours of research on other possible bikes).

Can’t believe how little noise this bike makes–what a difference 20 years can make in technology!.

Am 81 n got the bike to help strengthen leg muscles to hold knees in place. Use every other day. Do 10 minute stints twice. Good solid machine and will be easy to care for. The girls luv it and one called it beautiful.

I was very impressed with the unit, easy to assemble and finish on product is very good. Adjustments are very flexible and the fact that there are no electronics is a bonus. The heavy flywheel definitely gives a sense of a real bike, certainly an improvement on my last exercise bike.

This machine shake left and right, maybe it’s cause by manufacture defect. So, I put a small piece of a thick card board ( approximately 3/4 inches) under the right rare leg of the machine, it stop shaking left and right.

Other than that, I really like this machine, because it is able to step very wide, and I am able to stretch my legs on every step when I ride on this machine. Moreover, I am so glad this machine doesn’t install oil pressure resistance, so the item is not very heavy at all, according to the product official website, the product weight is approximately 46 lbs.

Since it doesn’t installed oil pressure resistance, so I place this machine outdoor every time when I use it, this is absolutely wonderful to work out under under the sun and detoxify my body at the same time, and I won’t need to worry about if the oil pressure resistance will cause explosion during overheated.

My mother bought our first one nearly 2 decades ago when she saw it on an infomercial when it first came out. She used it to keep herself toned and active as she was undergoing chemo and battling cancer.

Some years after she passed I bought one for myself because I remembered how good of an actual workout you can get on it. For those who poo poo it because it doesn’t offer resistance, I challenge you to learn about calisthenitcs, using your body to achieve a workout.

If you do kettlebells, or “jail” workouts you know what I’m talking about. You can push yourself forward and use that resistance to tone your upper body and increase heartrate and you can lean back a little and work your legs more.

Either way you use it, it is a great piece of equipment and what makes it even better is that you can fold it up and tuck it into a closet or behind a door and you gain your floor space back. I had considered a MaxTrainer for years before I bought my Gazelle but for thousands of dollars less I am satisfied with my Gazelle.

Give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed. Also I workout everyday and while i’m not a gym rat I do know about exercise and routines.

Very important before you buy: I bought this recently; it’s great for using at the computer or while watching TV BUT- it is very very light! In order to use this, you *MUST* have some kind of no-slip mat at the very absolute minimum.

It cannot be used without one. Even with a no slip mat, the action of your pedaling will repeatedly lift it off the floor, causing it to constantly slide, bang and rock against the surface. To counteract this, I took some wires, and tied the corners down to a rug.

I stuck the edges of the rug under furniture and only then was I able to comfortably use this. This is good for cardio and will make your thighs burn! You will sweat and get tired. But, even though resistance is advertised, there is almost none.

Pedaling a tiny child bike is more difficult than pedaling Tunturi m30 on the highest setting. Because of this, you will have to pedal very very fast. Buy this for the quietness, convenience and accessibility! Buy it for injury rehabilitation, if you are very old, very weak or have limited movement.

DON’T buy this for a workout! It is a little better than just walking the neighborhood for exercise, but not much, and be ready for some DIY to get it to stay in one place on the floor. Pros: Compact Not expensive at all Great for ”trial” to see if you want/would use a pedal machine before spending a lot of money on a good one.

No exaggeration at all. Absolutely cannot be used without fixing it to the floor yourself, and there’s no easy way to do it, no holes for screws, no weights, etc. Overall, after you have read this, I absolutely recommend buying! Burning no calories is better than burning none, and it’s easy on your wallet.

Since the pandemic has come, I have not been able to go to the gym and work. I am 50 yrs old, 5’8” 175 lbs. assembly comes with pictures only. Pay attention to the 3 wires that come from digital screen.

If it doesn’t work, it’s because you got it backwards. Came faster than expected. I have used many bikes in the gym and usually get a great workout and I can say the same with this bike. Very easy to adjust settings.

In the gym I usually start on 7. On this bike I had to start on a 3. It’s a great workout and can be adjusted for beginners or expert. I love everything about this bike with one exception. The pedal strap seems flimsy and looks like they would have to be replaced with more wear but otherwise an awesome piece of equipment for a great price.

Not bad if you just want basic cardio exercise. Easy to assemble. It gives me all the information I need for a good workout; heart/pulse, calories, distance. Tension is adjustable. The seat is my only disappointment.

It is a little uncomfortable, (hard) but I made a cushion top for it. It’s easy to move around. Great deal for the price.

I’ve been researching this model and others models on-line at Amazon and Walmart and couldn’t commit without seeing it in person. I went to Walmart and saw this model red-stickered to $299. 00 and bought this instead of other models I was considering, including some Gold’s Gym models.

For the price, I had to try it. After reading some of the negative comments, I also got the extended warranty, if it doesn’t work– hold Walmart responsible for my Satisfaction! I picked it up from the Walmart store in West Sacramento, the box was in great shape.

Loaded and unloaded on a weekday. Built it on Sunday. Took about 3 hours, but I was very deliberate and diligent about reading the instructions and assembling it correctly ensuring that all the screws were properly aligned and secured as well as providing generous greasing to the applicable parts.

The 135lbs in parts seem to be really high quality for the price, very sturdy, and box and instructions says it is designed for up to 350lbs. At 5’10 and 194. 4lbs, it suits me just fine! Your first workout is indeed the assembly, not an understatement, but it is easy enough if you make time and use patience and care.

Now that I have assembled it, I love it, my 5’4″ 108lbs wife loves it, my 8 and 10 year old love it, we couldn’t be happier– now if they would just stop hogging it all the time so I can get in shape to shed 20lbs.

Some things to note: The display is large easy to read with no backlight, but the monitor harness is not as sturdy but flimsy, but works fine so far. 4 AA batteries not included. Heart monitor works great on the fixed handlebars, don’t forget to remove decals on sensors! The Heart monitor was key for me because I don’t regularly exercise: I would work out for a few months and then stop altogether for many more months- when I get back on the cardio, I sometimes would push my heart rate too high and at 46, I really should keep an eye on that.

The monitor does not display distance in terms of miles or KM, but rather as RPM’s so not sure how to compare in terms of distance to other like units I’ve used in the gym, but generally I was doing 5-6 miles/hour, yet knowing the distance was a motivator for me because I always had to goal to do at least 5 miles if not 6 miles in 1 hour.

The calorie counter doesn’t report nearly the same calories in a workout that I would typically burn at a gym elliptical, but I definitely feel the burn and sense a comparable workout, an with adequate stride, and good resistance, so I am very satisfied at week 1.

If anything breaks, Walmart will get a call (with the extended warranty and repair plan), I won’t hesitate to use it or update this review!!!! I do wish the monitor also had a resting sill so I can securely rest my iPad, tablet, or cellphone.

This unit is quiet enough so that you could watch TV at a normal volume setting without disruptive noise but not quiet enough if someone is sleeping on the couch in the same room. I rested the unit on an area rug in the family room and it doesn’t hog too much space, so we still have our family room.

I absolutely recommend this unit, no need for more, your research is done.

I do use the machine both ways. I will usually do 10-15 minutes moderate/high speed sitting, then 10 minutes standing (as much as my poor legs can handle), and then finish out with at least 10 of sitting again at moderate pace.

Moderate only because my legs are just complete junk after doing the standing portion haha. Yea that standing elliptical is impressively difficult. I’ll only take 3-5 strides before my thighs feel like they’re in a 5-alarm fire.

It’s crazy. Feels good to be able to get done with 10 minutes of it though. I think my wife has only used it standing. I don’t think she is interested in the bike functionality of it, but that’s OK. That’s why we got a hybrid machine so that we could do either one.

The machine does have several programs, which I have attempted, but when it starts packing on the resistance it gets really strenuous. Because of that I kind of made my own regimen that I had described above.

I need to work myself up to get to that level of starting to tack on the resistance. I’m in it more for the cardio anyways. High speed / low resistance is what I’ve heard, but I could be wrong. Maybe it’s best to just power through the programs, and take a break if needed? I don’t know what would be the best option really.

One downfall to the machine is that it is battery powered. There is no power adapter for it. Recently the batteries in it had died. I was still able to work out, but unable to keep time, pace, stride count, or adjust resistance (if needed).

We use rechargeable batteries though otherwise it would just add to expense. But yea, just pop them out, charge overnight, and ready to go. — AA batteries. Yes the stride does feel short when you’re using it in the standing position.

If it was a longer stride, I think that would take away from the functionality of the recumbent bike option. I’m a bigger man and, while sitting, a full extension I’m having to extend tippy toes style, and on the return the knees come up into my stomach.

Granted once I lose more weight that shouldn’t happen, but at the moment you can imagine that it looks somewhat like a wavepool at a waterpark.

The Tunturi Cardio Fit E30 Kuntopyörä is an excelent choise for home usage. The pre programmed programs are very well balanced. The only slight disadvantage is that the bike is a bit unstable while riding.

Assembly was very easy. My son and I took about 30 minutes to open, unpack and assemble everything. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS if you don’t want any setbacks. That’s mainly for simple mistakes like putting the right arm on the left side.

I wanted to buy the higher model because of the ability to adjust the seat more, but it wasn’t available at our Best Buy. I’m pretty short (5′-2″) so this model just makes it for me with the seat at the lowest position.

The seat does bend a bit if you do not tighten it securely. WARNING! I had a much older Airdyne model and it broke because we weren’t using it correctly. I recall reading someone else’s review that advised to not put unnecessary weight on the pedals.

For example, when you get on the bike, don’t hop on the pedal. It’s better to step on the center of the bike, plop your butt on the seat, then put your feet into the pedals. The reason for this is the lack of bearings in the system.

It’s belt-driven and isn’t designed for the weight of your body to swing down on the pedal. I think my nephews were swinging on my old model, one kid on each pedal. Needless to say, you should not operate the bike in that way! If you follow the instruction manual and use it correctly, you’ll probably have a much better experience than the people who rate this any less than 5 stars.

I researched a lot of models and I think this is the best bang for the buck. Sometimes you get what you pay for, so please be weary of cheaper brands/models. This bike is as advertised. It gives you an upper and lower body workout at the same time or you can focus on one at a time, just watch the videos.

The harder you pedal, the more the resistance. I hope this bike lasts a while, if not then I’ll update this review. Enjoy!.

I’ve owned a few different Airdyne models over the years. All have been great bikes. There’s a reason that most rehabs and MMA gyms around the country have these bikes: they are incredibly effective, for both the super fit and the not so fit alike! There are a couple of drawbacks to previous versions of the Airdyne bike: one was the noise level; they were quite loud.

The second was the chain driven mechanism, which wasn’t all that smooth. That isn’t to say that older Airdynes weren’t great (they were,) just to point out some of the shortcomings. The Pro model has rectified both of these shortfalls.

I was hesitant to spend so much on a bike without getting to actually try it, but after watching as many videos as I could find, I decided to take a chance on the Airdyne Pro, and I’m very pleased with the bike.

With the exception of the arms, assembly is straight forward, and the construction is rock solid. ***** A few people have had problems installing the arms. Here’s the thing: there is a flat spot on the arm, that you must line up with the matching flat spot on the bike.

Once you line the smooth pieces up, the arms will go on fairly easily. Just take your time and don’t use excessive force. If the arms are lined up as they should be, it won’t be required. The other thing with the arms, are the assembly bolts.

I noticed that my right arm was noticeably looser than the left. Then, after looking closer at the assembly diagram, I realized I had made the mistake of putting both the left and right arm bolts on from the front of the bike; this is incorrect!!! The right side bolts go in from the front, but the left side bolts go in from the opposite side – the rear.

Once I switched those bolts around, both arms were equal in tension. For me, this was counter-intuitive, but it isn’t a big deal – long as you’re aware of it. ***** If I want to knit pick, I wish the monitor had more options for user presets (there is only one,) to program different intervals.

The belt drive is SO much smoother than the old chain drive; there is literally no comparison. And while any bike that uses wind resistance is going to be loud, it isn’t as loud as the older blade styles used to be.

Lastly, I’ve seen some people saying there’s no need for the air diverter because there is no breeze. If you are moving slowly, that may be the case; if you are doing intervals and pushing hard, there is definitely a breeze! This is an advantage in the middle of summer, but if you are using this bike in the winter time, in a cold room, you will definitely be feeling a cold breeze.

I would definitely recommend either buying the factory air diverter, or rigging something up to at least have the option to block that breeze.

We bought this as a gift for us to stay in shape. I ride it every other day for 25 minutes and like it very much. It is very well built and sturdy. We like being able to workout your arms and legs. The assembly was straight forward and it doesn’t take up much space.

It is a bit noisy during riding from the front fan. My biggest problem is the seat. The seat always wiggles a bit loose from side to side after a few rides. I would think a through bolt type of attachment would be more secure than the metal clamp with the sinch bolt of the seat, on the knurled seat post.

We have not had it for over a month yet, so we cannot speak to long term reliability.

Had back pain for years and have bought mostly all of the gadgets out there. None worked like this. The first day I used it, that night while sleeping I have a drop in the lower back pain dramatically which I get every night sleeping.

I get my pain when I stay seated or laying down. This really works the core while your sitting, not laying on the floor or riding in an uncomfortable seat. Well made. I recommend you get the roller bar attachment for the back (6 rollers).

It comes already with one single one. (2 rollers) I ‘m going to use it every morning when I wake up (5-10 min) and when I go to bed each night. Try it, you’ll love it. I’m getting another one for my Mom.

Low Impact!! Safe for elderly to get into stretching which is so important for all of us!.

Purchased a few weeks ago, was expecting a sturdier product but it’s effective. Very loose, so you really need to put your back and abs/core in gear to control movement. I will continue to use and get stronger.

Only complaint, the CD tutorials are short and limited to 3 levels- more like 3 varying speeds of the same workout. I keep stopping the video to complete another 30 seconds, or minute of any particular movement.

Does not feel like a thorough ‘class’ with even time given for equal movement on each side.

the exercise machine is sturdy, versatile, and comes with great exercise videos. it is easy to assemble, and to my surprise, it fits behind my computer, so while working I can take mini breaks and just do a little ab-doer exercise.

I am very happy.
