20 Best Cards For Throwing (2022 Updated)

One of the burritos tore open during first use. We did not over inflate. We were not being rough and were only using as intended. It’s a shame because we got maybe 10 minutes of use and the included patch is useless due to size the hole.

We stopped the game when that happened so other burrito is still okay but I am not sure how long it will last.

We haven’t even played the game because the burritos popped before we even got to play. I definitely should’ve gotten the other version because while the outdoor version looked cool, the fact that we haven’t even played before the burritos got holes in them doesn’t make it cool.

I imagine we will still play it and just use actual dodgeballs or stuffed animals. Very disappointing.

Inflating these burritos is a huge pain. We used a battery operated pump on one and a lot of our lungs on the other one. Because the valve has to be squeezed when inflating, it makes lining the pump up with the nozzle a bit of a chore.

There’s no way anyone could inflate this with their own hot air. Don’t expect to play this game right out of the box for that reason.

Excellent experience. I belong to a Canasta Card Club. We play once a week (group of 10 or 12) and all were glad to get the cards to use. Several people have had me reorder some decks for them personally to use at other locations.

Did not like that the game was not complete. The plastic revolving card holders were not included when shipped. The photo description of the product showed that the tray was included with set. It was not.

I commented on this and I still have not receiver the complete set as shown in the description.

Cards are super slippery making them easy to shuffle and deal. Point on the face of cards makes it easier to score

We have been playing with Kem Cards since 1965, and always been greatly satisfied – our last deck lasted over 10 years – which we replaced with a set from another maker that were only satisfactory about 4 years.

I ordered this deck on 15 April (the return lasted until 15 July – I’m a month too late), already the finish is wearing off of them – they are crackling and the color is wearing off – certainly not what past decks were, nor worth the price.

I will certainly look for another maker when I go to replace these cards. Greatly dissatisfield.

I bought these cards because whenever we have a game at my house, I am scrambling to get to the store to buys some new decks or searching for some decks new enough to use. My brother and I had some KEM cards our Dad gave us growing up and we used them often throughout our early years.

I sent my brother a text when I ordered these and he replied, letting me know that he still had the set from when we were kids. Those cards are over sixty years old. They are very nice cards.

I highly recommend these cards! These cards are thin, light and flexible. A vast improvement over Copag brand cards. I’m Very impressed with how durable they are. Worth every penny!

These cards are exactly made for playing canasta.

This is my first deck of Aviators and I am impressed. The back design is understated and far nicer than the garish design of Bicycle cards. Unlike many USPCC cards they are smooth, which I prefer to the textured ‘linoid’ finish.

The 50s-style box design is gorgeous. Once worn in – a necessary step with any deck – Faro Shuffles can be performed reliably. Aviators are seen as a budget option in the sleight of hand community, but from a week of using these I am not sure why this is the case.

I ordered the Aviator Playing Cards-Poker and was impressed at their beyond reasonable price. The size and stability of these cards is impressive and I would order them again for sure because they are the perfect addition to any game night.

I like how easy it is to order and will continue to do so. I hope to see additional games offered soon. Would highly recommend for residential use.

These cards are much cheaper here then at a local store.

I hate buying a deck of cards that dont last. These cards are amazing. Me and my poker buddies love them. Great value.

I ordered a Canasta card game. I looked in several stores such as WalMart, Target and others. They no longer carry it. I searched Amazon and it cost more there. So I found it on EBay brand new and cheaper.

And thats why I love EBay!.

Excellent linen cards, just like old school! It’s great having something that is made to last. This is definitely quality over quantity! Just think if everything was made like this!

A nice combination of cards and deck tray holder. My only complaint concerns the Canasta Rules that were included with the kit. I’m not saying the rules were difficult to understand but you may need more than a Masters degree plus 28 post graduate hours.

A classic that never goes out of style. And is always a favorite. I just bought a nice deck and it has a galaxy print on it. The side that has the card numbers on it, is dark which is a nice change from the norm.

They had many different styles to choose from including the original standard deck. When I saw them at the store, I realized I couldn’t recall having a deck of cards. They were lost in the shuffle during the last time we moved.

Happy to have another deck again. So many different games you can play. Or. Even for the little ones, challenge them to building a house and see how big they can make it. I might get another deck.

Picked up a few of these Rider Backs when I started learning some magic/sleight of hand tricks— gold, green, silver, orange, and turquoise. Upon opening them, I could instantly feel the difference between these and whatever old cards I’d been using.

So easy to handle, even for a novice like me. Many of the moves I’d been trying to learn became so much easier with these Bicycles, I knew I had to order a few more decks to keep on hand. I like that each color has its own couple gaff cards, although I might’ve liked some examples of tricks I could do with them.

But I’m sure I’ll figure something out as my skills improve. 2 Ordered several bicycle decks of cards in various colors so we could play double solitaire with the grandkids and everyone have same size cards with different colors! Works out great ! Quality is great ! The packaging was really great , no way to have any damage in the mailing process.

Bicycle brand cards were coveted by my son when he was younger and loved doing magic tricks. They are high quality, they slip easily against each other and do not become sticky over time. They do not split at the sides when they are shuffled like other cards do.

I teach kindergarten students and we use cards a lot for maths games. I ordered these bicycle brand cards to gift a pack to each child in my class for the end of the school year. I gave them out today and the kids were thrilled.

Being a little couped up due to social restrictions, this game has filled the bill. My family enjoys the fast pace and fun of Dutch Bliss. Not a snoozy game this one keeps the brain active and the fun happening.

Friends introduced us to the game and we just had to buy a deck. We bought the extension pack also in case we play with a crowd. It’s a very fast game (like Skip Bo or Spit) and a couple of us play every night.

If you don’t enjoy speed games you might not love this. We have one person who is more a strategy person (think Risk, Stratego or chess) who won’t play at all. Win or lose, it’s loads of fast-paced fun.

Bought as a present and the recipient loves it. It is silly and high energy, so great to create a fun atmosphere. It is also very easy to pick up and doesn’t require any specialist knowledge or skill, so everyone can get involved almost instantly.

The ‘burritos’ are made of soft foam (like a stress ball) so they don’t hurt, even if you get carried away, and are unlikely to break things from impact alone unless they are quite fragile e. g. thin glass.

They could cause damage by knocking things over/off of surfaces, so you still want to be wary of that when you play, but we have not found it limiting at all. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone.

My 7 year old daughter had this game on her Christmas list & I could resist buying her any game involving burritos. She was so excited when she opened it and immediately wanted to play. I read the instructions but was still a little unclear so decided to watch the video directions.

Definitely explained things further & cleared up any questions. We played with my other 9 year old daughter and had a blast. They loved the idea of tossing the burrito at each other. It was a pretty fast placed game and they got the concept pretty quickly.

The pics on the cards are funny! We’ve played a few times since with dad and it’s always fun! I would definitely recommend for kids as young as 7 on up for a good time! We liked the game so much we bought another game from this company, Exploding Kittens.

If you’re looking for a gift and are having a hard time figuring out what to get, buy this! I guess all the younger crowd love this game, and if the person you are buying it for has never heard of it, my kids tell me everyone loves it, even people that have never played before, once they play it they love it.

I suppose this would work for any age, but I bought it for a 20 year old, she’s going to LOVE it. Her friends told me to get it for her. It has very nice packaging, and will be really easy to wrap and didn’t break the bank.

Have been using these cards for many years and they are great. Just bought 2 decks and one of my decks was missing the 7 of spades but had my old ones so I just replaced it. They are smooth, colorful, and last.

Easily washes off if something is spilled on it.

I bought my first deck about a year ago and I loved them through and through. I used them just about every day and they never faded, bent, or creased. I just bought my second deck about a day ago because my daughters lost my old deck and these are my new babies.

They seem a bit pricey but they are totally worth it they are far superior to my other decks. They are plastic but feel more and act more like paper. Great Buy.

They look nice but are terrible for playing games with, especially in low light. Both sides of the card are the same dark background, which was not advertised on the package. Its very hard to tell when a card is upside down in the deck and also much harder to read the suit & color when compared to the classic white background.

When you buy a Bicycle card deck, you are paying for quality. Smooth touch, durable material, feels like a brand new deck everytime I use it.

There is no differentiation in the jokers; they are exactly the same. I will need to deface one to distinguish the high and low. i expext that froma Dollar store deck not from Hoyle. The cards are quite slippery.

While handling the cards, the middle of the deck slips right out of the stack. I look like 5-yr-old handling cards for the 3rd time. The box is great. It stays together if thrown in a bag but is not too difficult to open.

I will no longer use this card in my Z6ii when recording video. The card runs very hot and I get a “Hot Card” warning on my Z6ii when recording video. I am not recording lengthy videos only short clips over a period of 30 minutes.

I record appoximately 10 minutes of 30 minutes and receive the warning. I am concerned about the card causing issues with Z6ii so I will look for other brands. Wonderful set. I have a hobby of creating my own cards, and these are the perfect size. Great for zen doodling, gift giving, customizing, and collecting tags from aquaintances. I love writing affirmations with a sharpie and embellishing with gold and silver markers on the back.

They’re sturdy, and I think they’re plastic lined. Completely blank, whereas the image shows plaid backs, there’s no decoration. Great for the artist and hobbyist in your life.

Thanks to a Mighty Ape staff member for finding these to use in our tabletop game, stat cards etc, for this they are awesome. Be aware they are poker card size, and also be aware of this one fault, hence four stars not five.

Dear manufacturer can you stop being a Tight A with this product , make the price bit dearer, and hence increase the thickness of these cards- No joke any thinner and these would be Paper, NOT CARD, they are at least 1/4 the thickness of playing cards, for us as stat cards , not a problem , but to anyone else planning to use this as a home made card set , THINK AGAIN.

They are way too thin, even writing stats on them, we make sure we have a firm surface beneath them when writing text, yes, they bend that easily, fortunately we bought a few boxes , so screwing one up , not a problem.

Yet still we would have preferred a thicker card as they feel VERY FRAGILE, WHEN SHUFFLING THEM. Otherwise we highly recommend them.
