20 Best Cardstock For Cricut (2022 Updated)

I love cardstock. ♡ especially glitter ones. Honestly everything glitter I love. But this cardstock is nice and thick. It’s sturdy and holds through the cricut machine. I’ve made some pretty cards so far using this stuff.

I bought this to make Christmas cards and they came out fantastic thanks to the thickness of the cardstock. I hadn’t used this product yet but I will be getting more colors now that I’m more comfortable with it.

In my opinion, Cricut cardstock (glitter, metallic, pearlized) is high quality, and works well with die cuts.

I was surprised at the quality of this paper. I love it so much that I bought several packages after my first purchase. It is wonderful for writing with metallic markers. The black paper really makes the ink pop.

This is a high quality solid-core, heavy weight paper that is excellent for all paper crafts – I use this for gifts and cards and any time I need a solid color without the white core. With the right tools, it folds beautifully and glue imperfections are minimal.

It is lightly textured (a weave-like pattern) on one side so you always know which is the ‘right’ side. Whenever I can find this on sale I stock up. The colors across the stacks sometimes repeat. It cuts cleanly – even for the most part on my Cricut (which I’m less than enamored with at the moment).

American Crafts is the best paper to use for card making, flower making and many other paper crafts. I’ve tried other brands but this is the best. Great quality.

This cuts great with my Cricut and is solid core so there isn’t a white lining to show in the cuts. I was concerned by the price being so reasonable that it might not be quality, but found it is actually a lot of crafters first choice.

65# is perfect for flowers and most Cricut projects I’ve tried. Yeah! May get some 12″ x 12″ when next at Michael’s.

I love that this comes in 6″x6″ size! I buy packs of the 12″x12″ to coordinate with patterned paper and to use for mini-albums and folios. Sometimes I only need a small piece for a card mat or other decorative piece and hate cutting up a full 12″x12″ sheet.

This pack of 6″x6″ is the perfect solution.

This is excellent basic paper for all your crafting needs. It is the right thickness for most projects (65 lb. ). It is solid core paper, so no white edges. Cuts well by scissor and by cutting machine.

This is my go-to paper for envelopes and cards.

I’m not sure if they changed the product or what, but regarding other reviews that state the cardstock does not work well with the Cricut, it works for me. I have the Explore Air 2 and use the setting “Cardstock (intricate cuts)”.

The knob/dial setting for cardstock on the Cricut itself does not cut well with this (or any) cardstock on my experience.

Great cardstock, easy to work with. Cuts beautifully in my Cricut using a regular cutting mat. Super smooth, folds clean with light scoring and holds ink well, bonds easily with other paper elements and retains it’s esthetic appeal.

I used this paper for years then stopped when Covid made me close my shop. Now I started a new shop, used the packs I had stored, reordered more, and was disappointed at the new inferior thinner quality.

It’s too light. It’s difficult to stay down on the mat and kinda ripples. The worst part is I had a bulk order for 1,000 seed packets, mailed 500 already, and now the second batch will have to be with this awful paper.

I don’t have enough time to order samples from other companies to complete the order. This isn’t even the first problem. The old batch of paper measured 0. 625 more on the side that should have been 11″.

This may sound trivial but since all my cut templates were on 8. 5 x 11 artboards my plotter wasn’t able to do print and cut as it detected the inaccurate paper measurements. So. I had to redo ALL my template sizes to accommodate the wrong dimensions.

How is this stuff possible? Anyway, I just went to a physical Michaels hoping to exchange the 1,200 sheets of paper but the same awful paper was also on the shelves. I did see the “good” paper in the 100lb packs tho.

Guess those sell slower so they’re not yet replaced with the new and worse version. Have to go through the annoying process now of finding a new paper supplier.

I have been buying the Recollections brand of cardstock for years. While I think the quality of the paper overall is good, I do find that often the cuts are not straight, or exactly 8 1/2″ x 11″. As I sell my products professionally, I need to ensure they are “perfect”, so I have to measure each piece individually.

While none of that is a deal-breaker, what will now stop me from buying the kraft cardstock is the color was changed. It is now more of an unattractive brown, instead of an actual kraft color, so I will no longer purchase this particular color.

I used this paper to make wedding invitations. I was concerned with the weight of the paper and the printer while maintaining quality. They actually turned out really nice. I was not able to load more than ten pages at a time but the printer was able to handle the weight.

There was no smudging or imperfections with printing. We used a paper cutter to cut them out and could only do one page at a time because of how thick it was but the paper feels professional quality and I was able to save $80-$100 minimum on invitations.

I decided to try sticker paper in my Cricut Maker. It worded well, and I was surprised by how much time I saved by not needing to use a mat or adhesive. I like it! It doesn’t fit in my paper containers though, just a little too big.

I’m experimenting with materials for my new Cricut! It’s best to have a project to focus on, but in the meantime I’ve been making cards for all occasions. The sticker paper works so much better than using a glue stick.

the residue from the glue stick can come through the cut areas. I will be buying this product again!.

My daughter loves both Disney and her new cricut. She has been so creative making cards and other items. Creativity is both rewarding and relaxing. Using this Disney paper has let her mind expand to see the possibilities, and I love the look on her face each time she completes a project.

This is an online buy only, but so worth it. Well packaged and shipped. And Cricut does Disney proud by making the paper from quality products and the images are super! Contains two of each sheet, double sided images.

So if you love the image on each side, you may want to buy two packs.

This cardstock was so cute! I was able to do a custom order for a teacher she wanted Marcel/ DC superhero theme class decorations, these came in handy! Definitely recommend buy them!

I have been shopping loose card stock paper from Michaels from quite some years now. Earlier the paper was thicker. I have a few left from my earlier purchases and I could feel the difference. Also if we use markers on these papers they bleed on the back of the sheet, this was not a case earlier.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality. Thought they now sell card stock with a height weight and they are thick, but do not have many options in loose sheets.

My son and his two roommates live in a small beautiful group home in Hartsdale, right near Michael’s. They kept busy during the COVID lockdowns doing elaborate intricate jigsaw puzzles. When one puzzle (a large depiction of a map of the world) ended up with a piece missing, because of the great selection of colored cardstock paper, I was able to match the color and create a substitute for the missing piece.

Now the puzzle looks complete and perfect – thanks to Michael’s.

Just love using these beautiful scapebooking sheets. I just completed a bulletin board at my church and used several shades of green and aqua to highlight specific subject areas. It really brightens up the board and targets your attention toward important topics.

I added some green leaves available in the “wedding” department of Michaels along with a wood-like border that I ordered online and it looks great!.

I really enjoy working with this glitter paper. unlike ‘other’ (low quality) options, this glitter paper really gives you that glitter LOOK without the glitter FEEL. It is easy to paint onto, whether by paint brush or paint pen, and you don’t have to feel like you are trying to draw or create something beautiful on a sheet of sand paper from one of the local home improvement stores.

This paper will definitely be an easy go-to for future projects!.

This is my favorite glitter cardstock, it’s sturdy, doesn’t shed but now it it’s hard to find any of the colors in store and the price went up 50 cents but the quality went down! How do you up the price but make the paper less sturdy.

I can never find black or white and it looks like the original red is discontinued and now it’s lighter weight. I’ve started ordering from another source online sadly.

It has really nice glitter. The glitter doesn’t fall off. Tte glitter really shines in the sun which is what most people want from glitter. However, it is really thick and hard to fold or make into smaller pieces.

That is the only reason I wouldn’t buy it again, it is too stiff.

Great price. Long to arrive. First time user. Textured Canvas on one side only, smooth on the other side. Worked well in Epson WFP WF-3720 inkjet printer on smooth side. Great cardstock. Will buy again.

This is just the color that I needed. It’s the color of a brown paper bag, but the quality of 65 lb cardstock. I’ve read reviews that claim 65 lb isn’t really cardstock, however, I beg to differ. 80 lb is too thick for my needs, and below 65 is too thin.

65 is ‘just right’. And I’m so glad when I can find just the color I want, as this is.

I’ve been buying Core’dinations cardstock for years and was never disappointed. I love the wide variety of colors in the packs which I use for my card making and scrapbooking. I was very pleased with all my other purchases also.

They came sooner than promised and well packed and the shipping charge was great.

They are awesome for toddlers! These crayons are harder to break and harder to lose. They are washable and aren’t all waxy. They are almost toddler proof! My daughter is left handed and she loves to use these crayons to color with.

I most certainly recommend these crayons!.

I didn’t expect the color grading. I liked having choices. I just wish there were more of each color. I made some errors and had to choose the next color gradient.

The “vivid” colors are only on ONE side. The only vivid color is yellow, the other colors area little darker than pastel. Paper weight is good.

First of all, Recollections’ glitter paper is in my All-time favorite, top 3 of glitter paper. When you factor in price and availability, it easily slides into first. Especially since they increased the amount of colors they offer.

As most of the people reading this will know, glitter paper can be expensive. These packs and the glitter paper pads are some of the cheapest options for quality paper that won’t shed glitter all over the place.

Their multicolored packs are great for the variety and now, they have 12”x24”!!! For us cricut users, that’s huge! I do a lot of birthday decorations and this larger size is going to open up so many possibilities! Love that they thought of this… I really hope they decide to offer all of their different multicolored packs in 12”x24”.

And please, please, please, in black and white?.

Love this glitter paper! It’s thick but not too thick… it isn’t the kind that’s basically on chipboard. But it’s true glitter paper. Not shimmer, not glitzy, GLITTER! And this is a beautiful color. I don’t like gold glitter paper because it’s usually kind of brassy.

So I go with champagne instead, a sort of sandy golden color. Also, if you get it on sale or with a coupon, it’s a steal for high quality glitter paper!.

I am a huge fan of this cardstock, when I get a “good batch. ” I use this product extensively for my business and its a real shame this is another hit or miss from Michael’s. Some packs have a much more faded/less rosy tone that is very noticeable and different enough that I have to comb multiple stores to make sure I am getting the better batches.

I hope Michael’s is able to work this out, the lack of consistency makes it tough for a small business to rely on their products as this happens with some of their other cardstocks as well.

So nice and worked very well for the card I was making! I wanted something durable and this was what I chose and I loved it. Something else to note is that the glitter cover part of the paper was not rough and did not have additional stuff on top making it have a weird texture.

The paper was nice and smooth.

I have a business creating note cards, greeting cards, themed party decorations, etc. I purchased this paper as an envelope liner that would be used with note cards. I was trying to find a quality paper and I could not have been more pleased!!!!! The color is very rich and has a very nice texture.

I plan to look at all products JAM has to offer.

Since I make lots of greeting cards, I chose this pretty violet/purple card stock. I prefer a higher weight, but it was just too expensive. I also prefer to purchase Staples brands because they are usually cheaper; however, this color wasn’t offered in store brand.

The color is beautiful but isn’t too thick, and there are only 50 sheets. Would I purchase again; probably so since I really like the color.

I bought this because I really needed teal paper delivered to my home. The product is good quality, but the ream is only 50 sheets. I knew that when I purchased it. From now on I will buy the teal paper elsewhere.

I used this for making small boxes for kids to put their rock collection in for display. Have used it in the past for crafts where kids glue paper gingerbreads and their decorations to the card for Santa.

Firm enough to hold up to many glued on items and the glue doesn’t leak through or make the paper too flimsy. Will buy again.
