20 Best Cardstock For Invitations (2022 Updated)

This would have been a 5 star rating if the envelopes would have been the size they said they were in the listing. I specifically ordered this because of the envelope size. The envelopes are 4 3/4 x 6 1/2, not 4 1/4 X 6 1/4.

I wanted the envelopes to fit the card stock, not be bigger. I loved the card stock and the envelopes were nice, just not the advertised size.

It is perfect! All I needed are the pre-folded cards as I already had envelopes so this purchase was great!

I use card stock to make up the calendars I make each year for our family. I enter holidays as well as family birthdays and anniversaries with the number of which birthday and anniversary. At the end of December, I include each side of our family (our children’s grandparents), each family is divided up under their parents, with their children and grand and great grandson listed.

Such as my husband and myself’s parents, children, their children, etc. with all cousins, aunts and uncles listed. It makes it easier for the “ in-laws” entering into the family to keep everyone straight.

It is so much fun.

I’m developing a game which includes several different types of cards, and wanted to get an idea of how they’d look and feel. I knew that ultimately I would need a heavier stock and have to have them professionally printed, but the Staples cardstock printer paper went a long way in giving me an idea of what I could expect.

Each page printed accurately without any blurring or overrun of colors, and fed through the printer without any problems. The paper is also heavy enough to not curl up or bend after it goes through the roller; snaps right back to shape.

All in all, this is a good product at a reasonable price.

I have an online greeting card business and print my cards on 270 gsm or 298 gsm white cardstock with my Epson Workforce. I bought this paper in a Staples store because I was running low on cardstock, shipping was delayed from my regular supplier and I needed to fill a large rush order.

Staples didn’t have anything close to 270 gsm so I settled on this, which is 199 gsm. I mention the gsm because it refers to how heavy the paper is. Staples website doesn’t list gsm on any of their paper items which was pretty frustrating when I wanted to order online and do curbside pickup during the pandemic.

I had to go inside and look at everything on the shelf to find the highest quality paper they had. This paper is adequate for my project but is thinner than what I prefer. It’s slightly transparent so dark print shows through the other side (the ink doesn’t bleed through but you can see it when you hold it up to the light).

This paper was helpful in a bind and I’ll use it for large orders but I probably won’t buy it again.

Nice quality paper, bright white. I purchased it for making greeting cards. My older HP printer prints beautifully on it as well as on the 110 lb. cardstock, but that printer quit working. My new HP printer won’t pull the paper through, even when set for thick paper.

It wraps around inside the printer and jams it. The paper is good, but be sure your printer will take it.

The quality of this card stock is wonderful! The most important feature besides it’s quality is the fact that it is made in the USA! These days products made in America are getting harder and harder to find.

I bought this product for a paper craft project that was designed to have moving parts. Unfortunately the card stock wasn’t heavy enough and the gears that was supposed to move a train along a railroad track would buckle and skip causing the train to be an unreliable source of transportation.

I’ll have try again and double up on the card stock to make it stronger so I can post a video when it works.

I have been looking and shopping for a good quality cardstock for my card making, and every where I go they are either so expensive, out of stock, or just not sturdy and thick as I expected. One day I was at Michael’s and found that they carry this thick cardstock in different colors! I was so glad that I did not have to look further, bought two packs with my rewards discount! At regular price it was already cheaper than the one I got from Amazon.

I went online and found Michael’s PRO where you can buy in bulk, so I did and it saved my even more money because i got the paper for half the price and free shipping. What a treat!.

I do a lot of crafts (daily) as part of my YouTube channel “Creations by Caredeo” so I am always looking for good quality material & best prices as part of my creations. I always go back to Michaels because I just can’t beat their quality & prices.

Their cardstock can’t be beat! Love the quality. I don’t use any other cardstock away from Michaels. Best cardstock in the industry!.

I follow a cardmaker through social media rave about the price point, value and quality of this cardstock so I wanted to give it a try for card making. I usually use Neenah cardstock but figured I’d try this if it could help save some money.

I lucked out during a sale and purchased it in white and in Coffee/Cream pack. First impression- heavyweight and not a bright white like Neenah but still nice. Smooth and not shiny. I have made a few different cards with different techniques and these are my experiences: 1) Stamped images for the most part show up nice BUT certain stamp inks seem fuzzy or bleed past the edges 2) Does okay with alcohol markers but you will experience bleedthrough 3) More prone to visible smudges/grease ; such as the oils or residue on your fingers so take care to clean your hands throughout your card making.

I experienced this more with the Recollections heavyweight cardstock in darker colors (gray, brown, black). 4) Will pill and rip when used with washi tape or low tack tape! This was the biggest disappointment.

I ran stamped/colored images through my diecut machine with a SMALL amount of low tack tape (micropore medical tape) and tried again with washi tape to hold my intricate die in place. Unfortunately, peeling up the tape with care still caused some of my image to pill or tear off the top layer of the paper.

5) When using with a paper trimmer, may need to go over it a couple times because the edges fuzz out a little. 6) When scoring, take care to not push down TOO much or else you can cause poking through.

For the price, you can’t beat it but I think for multiple technique/complicated technique cards. this may not be the most reliable cardstock. However, for card bases or simple one-layer cards, I think it’s decent.

Great paper and fantastic price!! I love cardstock paper. I don’t do scrapbooking or anything like that, but I do enjoy the quality of it. I like to draw (not a professional at all haha), and use permanent markers.

It doesn’t bleed onto the other pages like regular paper in those “art books” or the worst kind of paper for permanent market – printer paper. THIS PAPER IS EXCELLENT! 75 pages for $5? Yes. Look online for it, you will find this is a fantastic deal.

I do like to make personalized cards for my loved ones. I use another decorative cardstock for that & this will work well with the inside of the card where the message is.

This is NOT bright white paper. This card stock is off-white. So while it holds up well, went through the copier smoothly, and was a good thickness, it looked so ugly next to all the other white paper copies I had.

This was exactly as expected and worked perfectly for my printing project. The paper holds up really well.

Michael’s Recollection Cardstock is superb. I own a crafting business where I create a wide range of handmade gifts, crafts, and party decorations out of Michael’s 65lb. Cardstock. It is “solid core”, so it’s perfect for quilling and making paper flowers since it does not have a white inner core which will show on the edges of your flowers.

I’ve used many other brands in the past, but I prefer this paper over them all. Highly Recommended!.

this used to be my go to white paper cardstock for all my cake toppers! I remember when it used to be a dollar cheaper and better quality! Now it is thinner than it used to be amd wheny machine tries to cut it rips.

I tested my other colors from this same brand and it works fine. They upped the price and changed to bad quality on this one. Disappointed.

Good quality, all purpose cardstock. I use multiple colors, and every one has the same quality. Excellent for both craft projects and printing. Even color throughout, and each sheet matches, so perfect for situations when uniformity is needed.

Perfect package size (not too big, not too small).

I can no longer find this super paper in any local stores. I use it for making/swapping stamped cards. I can use inks, paints, water color and many more things on this paper, IT IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

While I know that many artists and idle sketchers do not favor over the counter card stock for their artwork, I’ve been using this brand for -years-. Frankly it’s almost on part with the drawing and sketching tablets which can be purchased at Walmart or art supply stores though at a greater value.

Where an art tablet has about 30-80 sheets of paper, often ringed or perforated, this card stock is of approximately twice the cost at 2-5x the paper yield. It erases cleanly, inks well, even holds nicely for watercolor or fine line shadings.

On whole, when I find I am in need of sturdy art paper, I will pay a little extra for this. Simply put, I LOVE this paper! For parents and guardians, this is also very good paper for Cube Craft for children.

I would not recommend it for origami projects though. The paper is simply too bulky for fine creases more than three or four times.

Walmart offers this weight paper at a very affordable price compared to office supply stores. It is fine for homemade cards and other art projects. It also prints very well on my laserjet printer. As far as the comment on the weight of the paper compared to art paper, please remember that paper weight is usually based on the weight of 500 sheets of paper FOR THE STANDARD SIZE OF THAT PAPER.

Art papers are not usually sold in 8. 5″ x 11″ size, but rather many different sizes, and watercolor paper is typically made in 22″ x 30″ molds. You cannot compare 140 lb Canson (22×30) watercolor paper with Georgia Pacific card stock (8.

5 x 11) and expect it to be the same weight/thickness!.

I bought this a few weeks ago because I was having trouble getting a clean cut with my silhouette cameo using other cheap card stock from Joann’s and other craft stores. After nearly 4 years of thinking the cameo couldn’t handle paper very well, I had great success with AC cardstock.

It makes a huge difference having quality paper, and it was totally worth the money! I used the brights pack first. My trial run on the default settings left me disappointed, as I had to rip apart some of the cuts from the paper.

I did some research and moved the blade up to a 4, and wa-lahh it worked extremely well even on small and intricate shapes and words. I am impressed. I would totally recommend this to others–just look for a good sale as it is pricier (and better quality) than other papers.

I’ve bought this paper numerous times. I now have a fully stocked shelf of them! I love the texture and how it adds so much more taste to my little paper creations. The only downside I have about this paper is that I wish I could just purchase certain colors just by itself.

For ex. a certain blue out of the Winter collection. I go through a lot of particular colors but only able to buy by the pack.

GREAT paper for printing out anything you need on a heavier stock paper. I love it for printing out coloring sheets for my Great Great Niece. Also, will print out colored backgrounds for her to add stickies (stickers) too.

Anytime, I need something printed out that I want to last, I use this paper. Recipe cards, Life insurance policies. Etc. You can get it in different sizes, weights and colors. I just like this one. It’s heavy without being too heavy so it won’t suck up all your ink from your printer!.

Not stock paper at all! Too thin for business cards. Would NEVER EVER buy this again! This is barely a tad thicker than a regular piece of copy paper. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

This isnt what I would call card stock. Not what I wanted. Not thick enough for business cards. or any kind of card! Very poorly packaged for shipping. The package of paper inside had thrashed around so much that both ends were opened when it arrived.

Wasnt secured inside the shipping box at all.

I never got this company’s paper before, but I will do it again. It is the right weight for signs and other needs and it seems to absorb ink beautifully for a crisp, clear print.

I have used this product repeatedly. I have tried other parchment cardstocks but the colors are funny. this one makes me happy:) Feeds nicely into my printer, too. No problem with ink behavior on the surface.

No problems with cut edge when used with paper cutter. Two thumbs up!.

I ordered the JAM Paper cardstock in Ivory (a 50 sheet packet) for my wedding save the dates. I had ordered a design online and was going to self print them. The cardstock was of great quality, the perfect shade of ivory, and arrived undamaged through shipping for store pick up.

The only bad side was my printer did not like this paper at all. We could only print one page at a time and had to put pressure on the paper to make it go through. It jammed constantly (which I think is hilarious because of the product name).

Otherwise it was a great purchase.

I recently visited the Staples store located on International Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL. I had not been there since the store was relocated in another unit in the same shopping center. I found the store to be very nicely renovated, clean, bright, well organized and well stocked.

The staff was extremely helpful, and when something was not available that was on my list, they were quick to direct to Staples. com and help me find it, as well as give me a quick tutorial on how to order, when to expect delivery etc.

I was very pleasantly surprised at their level of commitment to fulfill me needs! I recently used the cardstock , which was one of the products I purchased, to make some manipulatives for the kindergarten class I am working in, and found it to be of high quality and very durable.

The color was bright and consistent throughout. I plan to go back and buy a pack in all the colors available. The price was very good as well. I also found some wonderful values on other products I could use in my office, home and for my kids college use.

I took a quick look at the prices and assortment of technology available , and will be going back to the store during Spring Break for new laptops for them all. My overall experience was very, very good, and I will continue to visit the store for my families needs.

I usually design my own greeting cards. The Staples Bright Colored Card Stock is a product I can rely on. Cards printed at home definitely do print and look better on card stock paper rather than regular paper.

The Staples Brights Colored Card Stock has proven to be ideal for this. The colors remain constant and true. That is, when I fold the paper in half, the red of one side is the same red that it is folded onto.

Experience has shown me this is not always true. In addition, I work with children doing various arts and craft projects. One concern with doing arts and craft projects is if colors used on the paper remain the colors I want.

When I use yellow on the red paper, will it still be yellow or will it turn to orange? Preschoolers do not understand the color spectrum. If they use yellow on the paper, they want it to be yellow.

I made cute Halloween bookmarks for our library’s participation in a Village Parade. Here were some of the bookmarks: “Books are a Hoot” shown with owls. “Books are treats” shown with candy bag. “I’m nuts for books” shown with a Squirrel.

The color and weight of this product was exactly what we needed. It’s good to know that Office Depot is my go to place for supplies.

This had a nice heavy feel but it was NOT white, in fact it was several shades darker than the cream parchment I bought at the store. Not even close to white. Disappointed.

I am very happy with this re-cycled paper which moves us a little closer to “going green. ” We wanted the look of classic parchment paper for our booklet which was a tribute to the amazing Eleanor Roosevelt.

The rich color, the delicate blue and the tactile appeal of this recycled parchment were almost symbolic of the awe-inspiring First Lady with a down-to-earth touch. It printed great images in both color and black ink.

The beautiful blue paper moved through my personal printer with ease. I have already re-ordered this item.

Positive feedback for this Neenah card stock. I use it primarily as monthly dividers for my finance binder. Good weight and nice color, though be sure to review the available colors, as I accidentally chose a lighter share of blue than I normally use.

Our files are used over and over so this paper will stay where is belongs. When a hole is put in the paper it will stay instead of pulling out of the folder. The paper is heavy which helps it to stay in place.

I make tickets (8/sheet) for our recreation center, and 90# index is perfect. The surface is smooth so it goes through my laser printer well (just a cheap Brother machine, but it works great with heavy stock – be sure to adjust the print settings).

It has a good “snap” that is perfect for a ticket.

The paper is not as thick as another 110# paper I have. So I question the weight. It may not work good for a greeting card base, but it is a good thickness for layers on my cards. The brightness is pleasing.

Price is good. I would buy again.

This is NOT 110 lb cardstock. It is more like 65 lb. I have no idea how the package can claim otherwise. It is barely thicker than printer paper.

I purchased this cardstock because it is heavier than the cardstock found in most office supply stores. It works in some printers, but not all can feed it correctly. I use this weight for craft products, and cut it with a die cutting machine.

Bought this paper to print full-color mini calendars for my co-workers. I was looking for paper that had a nice weight (heavy but not too thick), a bright white, and smooth. This job was printed on our office color printer.

I was worried the quality would be less-than-perfect, but the paper really helped and the project was a success. I am happy I still have half the ream left to use for other projects!.

I purchased this card stock to print hanging tents for a table top role-playing game. I wasn’t sure if it would jam my new HP LaserJet printer, seeing that HP’s specs said that you can run certain weight card stock through it.

I asked someone at my local OfficeMax store, and she indicated that this shouldn’t jam. So I bought a ream and tried it. As I ran the first sheet through my printer, I could hear it make the turn to roll under the toner drums, hoping and cringing that it wouldn’t jam.

I then saw the card stock emerge in the paper output tray; It didn’t jam! I reviewed the text and images, and everything was clear, legible, and as detailed as I had hoped. I now have monster and character cards for my Dungeons & Dragons players.

The card stock is consistent and durable. I used the printouts for a game session already. I had to write, erase, and write on some of the cards a few times (using a #2 pencil), and the material held up well.

This card stock doesn’t have much dust when I pull it from the wrapper, which is good for the printer. Every sheet I’ve pulled from the ream so far feels consistent.

I didn’t have time to get my “Outdoor Christmas Eve Hot Cocoa Bar” invite out in time and decided to try and print my own. This paper was amazing. They looked professionally done. My new go-to for all my invites.
