Bought for an ADHD/dyspraxic daughter, the book has useful ideas that helped me to see the world from her perspective and to rethink and reorganise her space to make life easier and tidier. The author puts function ahead of form with common sense ideas – a shift from most decluttering and organising thinking which aims for beauty and minimalism.

The book tackles each room in a house and breaks it down into projects which are very manageable if you have ADHD. A great resource.

The Lay it Flat version of the book is a must have. It really allows you to immediately pick up where you left off, and with my ADHD, if I get distracted I can return back to exactly where I left off with no effort.

I took a chance on this format, my first Lay It Flat Book and now I’m wondering if I can get all my future books in this format. They’re on to something here! As for the content of the book, she is spot on with advice.

Make the investment into yourself and reorganize your life from the ADHD perspective. It’s making a difference for me.

ADHD makes cleaning and basic organization frustrating and more difficult than for those without. This has shown my husband and I (both have ADHD) different ways to approach the process. We are just beginning to apply some of the ideas, but I can tell it’s going to be really helpful in the long run, because it respects the positives of ADHD individuals (creativity, efficiency, and innovative thinking) and empathizes, instead of chastising, by using methods that are out of the box and non-judge mental.

Worth the buy for fellow ADHD brains struggling with clutter and mess.

This is a good read for anyone with ADHD – I was diagnosed quite late in life and this book and found this book to be very helpful. It’s written for people with ADHD which I found particularily helpful.

There’s a follow-up book called “Delivered from Distraction” by the same two authors.

Do you need to help understand your personal problem with distractiion ( ADD ) or your child or teen? This book will help all persons effected to better understand, to , improve everyones path forward for better life, better living, better relations, school, or working performance.

Lots of stories that cover characteristics you will relate to if you have ADHD. Nice list of common symptoms to help verify a suspected diagnosis. Not focused on “tests,” but rather challenges in daily life.

Covers the “hypo-active” side of ADHD (daydreamers, not interrupters, that make up around 25% of us); this is what our family deals with, and it’s not easily diagnosed. It will help prepare you for doctor’s visits and dealing with ADHD in life.

Wonderful read if you have ADHD and need something to perfectly describe how you feel and have better control/ understanding of it. I would also recommend even if you don’t have ADHD just to understand those who do cause chances are you know or are close to someone with ADHD.

I seriously loved every second of this book, and it was later out perfectly to keep my attention lolz. also i t helped me in my relationship cause not only do I have it my boyfriend does as well. so 10/10 would recommend.

I wanted this book because it was recommended by professionals and patients alike, who have ADHD. My BF and his daughter live with ADHD, but I suffer through it. I am using the book as a tool to show them little examples which I hope will lead them to be diagnosed and accept treatment.

The book also helps non-ADHD partners recognize what the ADHD person’s life is like. Excellent!.

Great read for people waiting to be referred or have been diagnosed with adult adhd. Well written and informative so far.

I needed this stool as a way to sit at my desk without having tons of back trouble like I do from my former office chair. It functions well and is not too bad looking, and is comfortable for me (finally!).

However, I was dismayed at how incredibly difficult it is to get the wheel pegs crammed into the holes in the leg part of the stool during assembly. I’m a small but not weak woman and was only able to cram one wheel peg into its hole– the rest my husband had to strain to cram in.

A much better design would be wheels that SCREW into the legs of this stool.

I am an office manager and accountant for a fast-growing motorcycle dealer in Columbus, OH, and I work long days with often several hours at a time spent sitting at my desk. I was looking for a rolling, adjustable stool that would provide comfort for my lower back.

Stools have long been my choice as it’s been my experience they cause me to be more actively engaged in my work day and make me the most productive version of myself. This stool is where it’s at! I get micro movements, which don’t seem like much, but ANYTHING is better than sitting completely sedentary and propped up for hours at a time, no? Also, as I age, my lower back tends to hurt more and more, yay! But with this stool, my back and neck pain actually decreases throughout the day.

Really, I can’t say enough good things about it. The ball inflation is easily adjustable to your comfort, and it’s plenty tall enough for most everyone – I sit high at my desk, pretty much always extending my chairs to max height – and this stool gets me right where I like to be, ergonomically.

10/10 would absolutely buy again.

Moving to online teaching in the spring wreaked havoc on my back. I knew I had to make some changes before beginning the new school year in the fall. My first stool had a leak and required reinflation several times a day.

Just received my replacement the other day, and so far, so good! This is so much more comfortable than a regular chair. Prior to this stool, I tried adding memory foam cushions to my chair, and they did not help with back pain at all.

Unlike my chair, I feel great after sitting on this stool for a few hours a day. I love that the height of this stool is adjustable, and customer service was so easy to work with. Yes, I recommend!.

If you really want to open up your roleplaying options to fulfill that unique concept you’ve had in your head but still be OP on the battlefield, this book is for you. While these options do need to be allowed by your DM, this book is well-known enough and popular enough that most tables will allow it (with the possible exception of two OP Cleric Domains, but you still have lots of fun toys to play with and wreck face even without those).

While same may complain that the stat reassignment option “removes flavor”, just remember that every table already removes some flavor and replaces it with their own to some degree, and you are always free to still make your orc strong, your dwarf hardy, and your elf graceful; however, now the other players are free to make their orc intelligent, their dwarf nimble, and their elf clumsy and still make maximum contributions to the team in combat – that’s a win-win, easily.

The new spells and expanded lists are also very nice, and the reworked Ranger is much better and makes for a strong, fun character both in and out of combat. This book and Xanathar’s should be used at every table, easy recommendation.

I had been hearing great things about this book for a while and had seen a lot of the content already. Still, Tasha’s blew me away. This book has some of the coolest subclasses and spells of the game, great new magic items, additional feats, and interesting ideas for how to run puzzles.

It also helps establish more equitable and comprehensive supplemental rules for racial traits in D&D 5E. In short, Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything what a great D&D supplement should be!.

The SPECT imaging offers a transparent visual aid to help readers better understand how ADHD affects the brain. There is no other ADHD book presenting this information, as far as I’m aware. Another big plus are the nutrition suggestions and the multi modal approach Amen provides.

ADHD cannot be resolved by simply medicating. To make a significant improvement requires an integrated program of diet, supplements and therapy. Amen provides the information needed. I recommend this book to anyone struggling with ADHD.

It will definitely change your life for the better.

I had purchased this book years ago and lent it to so many people who found it helpful. Unfortunately, it never found its way back home to me. Very glad to have been able to purchase another copy. So many of us group people into one category for ADD and that couldn’t be further from the truth.

This book is easy to read and understand and makes perfect sense to the layperson.

Amazing insight into ADD! PROOF it’s a brain issue not emotional problem. Many helpful suggestions about improving condition with nutrition and exercise to adjust brain chemistry and bring relief.

highly recomend this for anyone that is having to deal with ADD/ADHD. i was told aboout it by my therapist while we were tring to come up with a plan to help my little girl deal with ADD and school. it helps you take a look at ADD and its afects on the brain and the every day life of anyone having to deal with it.

we are taking the infomation from this book and tring to help without med’s at this time. although it may one day be nessasary for us to use med’s along with what we have learned the book has helped us understand what ADD is and how to help both at home and school.

The book is in a very old yellowish and dry condition, I try not to fold the pages so they won’t break. Eccept for the poor condition it’s in, the information I was looking for was contained in it, it is sad that the book will not last long.

My doctor and counselor recommended it. It was EXTREMLEY helpful. I would recommend it to anyone dealing with this issue. It is a little outdated on a few medication issues but otherwise it is wonderful and has a lot of helpful information.

Having a grandson who has ADHD and Autism, this book gave me an excellent insight and understanding of his journey. It also gave me an insight into the early years of my journey. It helped me understand the issues that I faced as a child.

I guess I would call it self analysis.

Could really relate to the content. Helped me to understand better the childhood emotional underpinnings of my ADD. Dr Mate’s warmth, wisdom and compassion radiate from the pages. Definitely would recommend to others.

this works great! but the taste is AWFUL. the kids whinge and whine if they have to take this. but the effects are fantastic. recommended for the effects, not for the taste. it is also rather expensive.

after researching the science of the ingredients, we decided to try this product. the research is true and it works. worth a try. but beware of the taste if you are taste sensitive.

I’ve noticed gradual cognitive decline, over the last year, or so. Nothing debilitating, but definitely noticeable. After hearing Dr Perlmutter discuss how coffee fruit promotes BDNF, I checked-out a study he had cited.

And I decided to give this supplement a try. The very first day that I started taking these, I experienced a distinct return to my old “normal”, in terms of the mental acuity I used to enjoy, before the recent decline.

I read another reviewer’s post about the nutritional absorbency but as long as you take it, as directed with food, I have found that there is sufficient absorption time. If your body doesn’t need something, it will excrete it (hypothalamus to kidney communication intact of course).

I am a pastor and 48 yrs. old. I take care of my mom(85) and my dad(84). They are sick and I am very busy with a large congregation. I was skeptical as most people are of things like this, BUT, THEY ABSOLUTELY WORK, ABSOLUTELY! I was more focused, but I also became more goal orientated which I have had a hard time doing for years.

I ran out the pills, thought I ordered more, or something got messed up with the order on your website, and they didn’t get ordered. I think, possibly, they may have corrected some concentration things in my mind and I still am having better mind days, if I can say that, when I was not a very great mind person.

My four year old grandson loved every part of this game, including the foam dice which he could slam into floor, watch them bounce, and then run and get them. The balancing positions have a good range, from easy to challenging, but all are a challenge when everyone is running around the position holder, flapping their arms and hollering tweet tweet chirp chirp.

We were worn out long before he was. The game is easy to assemble and simple to understand. It’s a perfect way to engage young energetic children in an activity the whole family can enjoy. After we finished the game, my grandson wanted to go back to his favorite poses and do them again.

This was a good purchase.

With virtual learning starting soon as we also enter the colder part of the year in our climate, we bought this so that our 6 year old son would have more options for indoor movement. The game seems simple at first, especially if your child does yoga and has pretty good balance, but it quickly increases in difficulty with added elements of balancing the seed bag on different parts of the body, flapping your arms and resisting the distraction of the other players! We laughed a lot playing this game! Definitely recommend, especially for younger children (3rd grade and younger and/or kids/adults who are working on balance).
