14 Best Carpet Cleaner Powder (2022 Updated)

I have two dogs and one cat and messy little grandchildren. This product is wonderful! I have beige carpets and when stains show up I literally spray Resolve on it, wait a few minutes and the stain is GONE! No rubbing, no scrubbing.

Seriously. I love this product. My cat yaks up hairballs regularly. I pick up the icky fur part with a paper towel, pat the carpet dry and spray the area with Resolve. It smells really clean and fresh and within minutes the mess is gone.

Mysterious patches on the carpet from spilled toddler drinks, mashed food in the carpet; all of it cleans up so easily with this spray.

I’ve been using this carpet cleaner for many years and will continue forever – it is the best out there. Pet stains, food stains, random unknown source stains, you name it, it treats it all. I find the best method is to spray the stain, let it sit, then scrub/dab (people tend to have strong opinions here HA!), let it sit a little more, then vacuum.

Depending on how bad or deep the stain is, you might have to repeat. Highly recommend!.

This product is just amazing! I love the Magnolia Vanilla scent so much!! It’s my all time favourite. This product doesn’t need any change at all!! Not too expensive especially from BM only £1!! I highly recommend this, does wonders for your carpet and mattress.

I loved this scent. Used lots of products each month as it was lovely. Now it’s vile. Artificial and overpowering. I’ve stopped buying anything you make. Return to the original scent if you expect anyone to ever buy again.

So as the man of the house I have taken it upon myself to support the Mrs in taking control of the extra curriculum activities of hoovering. So I invested into a new hoover and did some research and bought the vanilla shake n’ vac.

I can confirm I have won 5 brownie points as the carpet looks perfect and the house is smelling sweet. Lets just hope this is only the task I am set :z.

I was recently quite shocked by my daughter’s comment that for the first time ever she thought my lounge smelt ‘doggy’! She saw the horror on my face and said that it was probably down to her being super-sensitive to smell as she is pregnant.

I was mortified nonetheless. My elderly collie has never been aloud up on furniture and has a blanket set out on the carpet which she stays on mostly. Weather too cold to bathe her and strip her coat of essential oils.

As it is cold and damp I was not going to shampoo the carpet so I set about doing research on the internet for an alternative and interim solution. I was enthused by the write-ups on Neutradol so decided to order some.

And I am delighted with it. Easy to shake around the carpet, leave awhile and Hoover up. Leaves the carpet with a pleasant aroma. Daughter has since visited and declared the lounge totally fresh smelling and cannot detect doggy odours at all – in my book, that is a good result!.

Smells great but smell doesn’t last, item was also not taped and lids obviously come off easily so if dropped its not looking good for you.

Really impressed with this. I’m so paranoid about my home being clean and smelling fresh, especially with having pets, and I have high expectations from these kind of products. This product really didn’t disappoint.

It’s really simple to use. Takes 2 minutes. Straight away the rooms smelt so much fresher and the next day I noticed a much fresher smell where I’d used the carpet deodoriser.

I would say this did a pretty good job. Not great because I still had to use a spot cleaner but pretty good. If I followed my machine guide, I felt like I used too much solution because my handheld cleaner dirty water was dispensing more foam.

I would recommend using less product to balance the water: solution ratio. I also had to do 2 or 3 cleanings to get what I wanted. I do appreciate that this was surprisingly one of very few solutions you can use on handheld cleaners vs upright cleaner,.

After having purchased a Bissell carpet cleaner, I purchased a couple of bottles of this Bissell Deep Clean Plus. I am very impressed with the cleaning power – but I must admit, I’m not sure if it’s the machine or the cleaner! What I can say, is that the product has a wonderful, light scent and that the “dirty water” from the recovery tank is just that – dirty water.

Even on carpets that do not seem to be dirty in the least, the degree of dirt extracted is amazing. I would recommend that for every bottle of Bissell Deep Clean Plus you use, be sure to at least try a Bissell Deep Cleaning machine once.

The combination of both will leave you impressed with the quality and smilling with the low cost of ownership and the ability to clean anytime, anywhere.

I have used this product with two Bissell cleaners. Most recently the Big Green machine, which according to the directions for the machine requires I use two cap fulls (the machine tank cap) of this solution.

Be sure to read the manual for your Bissell machine to see how much solution to mix with water for cleaning your carpets. Shake the Deep Clean Pro 2X solution bottle prior to dispensing for proper mixing.

This cleaning solution leaves a fresh, but not overpowering scent. I do notice a slight coating left on the carpet. This is slippery if you walk on the wet carpets afterwards. I believe that’s the stain resistant residue that’s designed to keep your carpets cleaner longer and repel stains.

I think with frequent carpet cleanings (every 3-6 months) this solution with your Bissell should keep new carpets looking great and help older carpets like mine to last a bit longer and look as good as possible.

I believe this solution does a great job of neutralizing odors and cleaning carpets. I did have to go over a few areas of high traffic with a pre-treat solution and even then it took two cleanings to get things where I wanted them, but I can’t really blame this product for not getting it the first time.

I have seen alot of posts where the smell becomes worse after shampooing carpet. That is because the pet urine did not just stain the carpets, but the padding and possibly the subfloor beneath. Also, when shampooing carpet, these stained pads are getting wet as well, allowing the smell to actually increase.

If this is the case, you can have a professional do a. proper urine clean, which will clean the pad as well. Or you may have to replace the pad.

I have a relatively low pile cream rug that on of my pups had peed over. I spot cleaned it with an upright machine i already had and it seemed to work great. We then also got it professionally cleaned between moves.

There were a couple of areas that had gotten a little dingy and still smelled very faintly of pet urine, so when i saw this, i thought it would be perfect. I followed the instructions and used it with an upright carpet shampooer.

while the rug looks fairly clean, this solution somehow lifted up all of the stale urine smell and made it more potent. For days the room this was in smelled like super potent dog pee. I went over it again without the oxy boost solution, and it was a bit better.

I wish i had never tried this product as it made deep, dormant and unobtrusive pet odors come alive again in full force.

Excellent product. Lifts heavy stains and odours with ease. I was blown away by how much difference just one going over had. It’s fantastic strength of eliminating stains and odours even and especially combined with any other Bissell cleaning solution is just astonishing.

The product worked well for cleaning our carpets. My only complaint is that it has a strong scent which remains in the carpet for quite a while. A couple of days after using the cleaner, we sprinkled baking soda on the carpets and let it sit for a couple of hours before vacuuming, which helped a bit.

Fortunately, the smell has faded after a few weeks, but it is quite strong during that time, which can be quite bothersome if you are sensitive to strong scents.

I got company after putting this on the carpet and it was on there a while but to my surprise. IT BLEACHED MY CARPET. I mean it really lightened my carpet and I shampoo my carpet regularly so it was not that dirty.

Now it just has large white splotches. It also completely clogged up my vacuum and I had to take it all apart and wash it out. I have gas heat so my house is not the least bit damp. Probably just the opposite.

Was really upset that it had lightened my carpet to such a degree that it is plainly visible.

Helped clean up after the dog poop-apocalypse! At some point my dog decided that pooping in the house is the best revenge for me having a job which results in her only going to the dog park once per day.

She is way too smart for her own good and gets a little vindictive. Anyways, maybe once a month or so she will poop on the only carpet rug in the entire house. One awful day this happened while I was at work and before Sir Sucks-a-Lot (my robovac) did it’s usually round of cleaning.

As you can imagine this is definitely not a good mix. My usually reliable friend Sir Sucks-a-Lot went from sucking up dirt and pet hair to a one-day contract as a dog poop steamroller and paved the entire rug.

IT. WAS. AWFUL. I smelled it as soon as I came into the house. The sight was way worth than the smell. My once green and white rug was now paved brown with the revenge of my best friend. I spent hours de-pooping and shampooing the rug.

Once I was finished, I spread the odor eliminator over the carpet to soak up the remaining moisture (gross), and absorb the smell. 24 hours later Sir Sucks-a-Lot returned to his day job and vacuumed up the odor-absorbing powder and my left my run smelling great and looking good as new.

I highly recommend for anyone with a pet who disrespects their rugs or carpet by pooping inside.

We have an Egyptian wool rug that should not be cleaned with water. We used Zorb and could not believe the difference it made. The colors were more vivid and the wool felt softer underfoot. It does take extra work.

We worked the microsponges into the carpet by hand using an old hair brush rather than buy a special tool. But what an amazing difference!.

I used this on my old light grey/ blue office carpets which were not particularly dirty and it did improve them. Following the instructions, I used my Dyson to vacuum the carpets, then emptied it, sprinkled the Vanish on and lightly brushed it to spread it around, left it for 30 minutes, then vacuumed it up.

Some dirt appeared to have come off. Then the vacuum had to be emptied and the filters washed. Verdict – worth a try at the cost. Less effort than using a carpet washer machine which I have used before.

Probably be a better test on carpets that are very dirty, then any improvement could be more easily see. Hope that helps.

Flat pile cream bedroom carpet which we inherited with the house. Very grubby with tread marks just inside the door. Followed directions thoroughly & even left it for 10 minutes longer. Vacuumed up expectantly.

Carpet looked exactly the same once the powder had gone but the room reeked of the fragrance! Very disappointing. Will have to give it several goes with the steamer instead whilst the weather’s hot.

Does a pretty good job for what it cost. A few small lumps but soon break down. Did a job on my flat carpets, freshened them up, found they looked better after doing them again 2 weeks later. Will use again.

Scent isn’t the best and I usually love citrus smells, didn’t neutralize any of the daily pet odors. We just had new carpet recently put in and just wanted to keep the pet’s musty odors down from being let outside side / inside multiple times daily.

This product didn’t even freshen the carpet, baking soda works better than wasting your money on this product.

I recently tried this carpet powder out and it’s my new favorite, first of all I LOVE the smell, it smells very fresh and clean and “natural”, it’s not overpowering but just the right amount of scent, it worked right away to remove unsettling smells in my home and the scent has lasted a very long time, it is super effective in removing harsh smells, it does what it says.

I absolutely love the bottle it comes in, it has two tabs on the top that you open, one side if you want to sprinkle a little bit and one for if you want to sprinkle a bigger amount, that I found was very unique and convenient.

I also love that it isn’t made with harsh chemicals but with naturally derived ingredients. Overall this is a very good product and I would highly recommend.

I recently purchased this PL360 odor neutralizing carpet powder to try due to having a new puppy that is being potty trained at the moment. She’s had a few accidents on the carpet so I figured we’d try something new.

And I am thinking that I really like this stuff. There is no scent, so it isn’t over powering, which I really love. And it seems to take up the stains and odor very well. Great quality for the price.

I love it enough to purchase it again. And I do recommend for the little accidents here and there.
