20 Best Carpet Cleaner Tulsa (2022 Updated)

I feel like I made a huge mistake purchasing this product. I took in a dog in my home that had house training issues. I’m used to female dogs, and this is a make. Things were fine for a while but now he is marking his spots in my house.

I bought this carpet cleaner to quickly remove urine stains and smells hoping to have a fresh smelling home. No, this vacuum is absolutely terrible and do yourself a favor and do not spend $300 some dollars on this useless cleaner.

It uses so much water and doesn’t collect a lot back in return leaving the carpets quite wet after cleaning and now I’m wondering if it’s even soaking up the urine at all. I can see it soaking up the urine marks since the bottom part is clear, but then the vacuum itself begins to leave behind a gross smell.

I clean out the dirt tank and take apart all components before and after each clean but the vacuum stinks literally and it’s effectiveness. When I’m done with the vacuum, it leaves dirty residue water all over while I roll it toward the back room to clean it out.

This product does not even come close to standing up to what it is supposed to be doing. It’s big, heavy, and bulky, and not fun to maneuver around especially since it leaks dirty water. The soap squirt thing on the handle stopped working relatively quick, and the soap squirt nozzle on the base shoots out almost pointlessly leaving too much water all over that’s not all being sucked back up.

I feel like since I’ve been using this vacuum it has been so ineffective that I felt like my situation is worse than it was before I began using this steamer. I do not at all recommend this for removing pet stains, whatsoever.

This thing cost way too much money for it not to have much effectiveness.

After having rented and used Bissell’s commercial Big Green Machine I decided to buy this unit for my own home use. mainly on the basis of cost levels. The rental unit cost me about $98 for a two-day rental (including a $30 deposit) so.

a three-times-year rental worked out to about the same as buying this unit (including solution costs). I’ve used the unit once today for a total of about 3 hours and found that, unless you rush your use of the unit and treat it like a common vacuum cleaner, it works well enough.

but there are a couple of qualifications. First, in filling the clean-water tank the markings on the outside of the tank are in WHITE in which can make it rather tough to read the volume levels in the tank.

Switching to a black ink for the printing on the tank would alleviate this problem. Second, the unit is rather LOUD. especially in the upper sound register. While the unit overall is loud (as is to be expected) the suction motor emits sound in the high frequency range (1000-2000hz) that makes it suspect for long period use without adequate hearing protection.

something that isn’t mentioned anywhere in the printed material supplied with the unit. A pair of standard hearing protectors or at least a set of foam ear plugs will go a long way towards reducing this.

Third, after rather prolonged use – a total of 3 hours the first day, I noticed that the motor/pump housing (near the on/off switch) was quite warm to the touch. well above human body temperature. around 140˚F as measured with an infrared thermometer.

Not having any other unit(s) to test, I don’t know whether or not this is the normal operating temperature for this model. Lastly, for those who claim that this model leaves the carpet extremely wet, I can only offer that this isn’t a standard vacuum cleaner.

the user needs to go much, much slower on both the push and pull strokes in order to get sufficient suction to remove as much moisture as possible.

After hemming and hawing on which carpet cleaner to get (they all have pros/cons or have all pros and are pricey!) I decided to get this one from my local Target because it was in my budget on sale and wasn’t huge.

You do have to assemble the handle and a plastic piece that helps wrap the cord, but that’s it!! I consulted the directions, filled up the water tank, added detergent, and away I went! I was working on a room that gets heavy traffic (no shoes in the house, though!) AND we have several pets.

Our one cat had been taking to panic peeing in a 5 foot area, so I really took my time and went over that area again after I did the whole room. I really like how light weight this machine is compared to others I have borrowed from family in the past.

I used a special Bissell Pet Pro Oxy formula, and my carpets smell fabulous (yes. I got down to sniff them!). I did the “Max Deep Clean” which means they will take a while to dry, but I wanted to get that cat smell out! They smell way better than when I’ve had them done by professionals – seems like there is always a funky smell afterwards! I did have to empty the dirty water tank several times, but I think that’s because I was overdoing it for my first go to get the carpet super clean.

The dirty water tank was easy to take out and empty. With other models I’ve tried, the dirty water would leak all over when you did that, but not with this one!! One of the coolest features is that it comes with a cleaning tool that helps you get into the intake area and clean out any pet hair that gets stuck up there! In other models I’ve borrowed from family, the machines start to look so nasty after a while because this area is hard to clean.

If you are looking for a budget-friendly carpet cleaner that is easy to manevur, I highly recommend this one! If you have pets, I also highly recommend the Bissell Pet Pro Oxy formula – it’s a miracle solution!.

I do not recommend this carpet cleaner at all. Even if you think the price is good, save a little more and get a better one. Trust me. I feel like this doesn’t clean the carpets well. This is advertised for pets and it definitely doesn’t clean the urine.

The container that holds the water/solution leaks. The screw cap doesn’t go on correctly and is always lopsided and leaking. The tank is impossible to clean. There is a small hole where you drain out the dirty water and good luck getting any hair or extra dirt out of the tank.

You have to put clean water in and shake it around the tank to try to get the leftover dirt and hair that is stuck inside.  The brushes are hard to clean also. They don’t come apart so you have to stick something behind the brushes to get the hair that has collected.

There is a max line on the tank as to not let the dirty water fill to that point. You will have bubbles from the dirty water coming out the vent on the top and the water isn’t even half way to that max line.

I also used the correct amount of solution. It’s disgusting to see the dirty foam shooting out the vents onto your walls or furniture close by.

To start with, I will say that this machine works well. Easy to use and cleans great. My first problem is the dirty water tank leaked. For some reason this tank is designed with a seam in it and that seam is glued together.

poor design in my opinion but I contacted hoover to see what their solution was. That brings me to my next issue. Hoover sucks to deal with. Had to email back and forth with them several times, send them pictures of where the tank leaked and all kinds of information.

That part would of been acceptable if it wasn’t a 4 day wait for a reply back from them every single time. Eventually hoover told me they will send me a complete new unit but first I must cut the power cord off my unit and remove the manufacturer tag and send them photos to prove that I have done that.

so my problem with that is I only needed a plastic tank. But instead hoover is having me destroy my prefectly good machine and throw it in a landfill. Problem 2 with this is back to how slow they are.

By the time I get my replacement machine it will be 2 months from initial complaint to replacement. Warranty also isn’t renewed with the new machine, it is carried over from the old one. I’ve had a similar issue with a bissell product and now that I have seen the difference between the 2 companies, I will be buying all bissell products in the future.

All i needed to do was pop in the handle and its ready to go. I love tue seperate tanks for the dirty and clean water. I like that it has a seperate tank for cleaning solution so no waste. Works and feels like a vacuum very easy to use.

Way lighter then my older carpet shampooer but at the same time powerful. HERE IS WHAT I LIKE THE MOST IT IS SO EASY TO CLEAN. Brush cover pops off you can de gunk all the brushes and suction area with ease.

I have a bunny, 2 cats and a dog 4 kids hair is everywhere and it simply couldn’t be easier to maintain. Heat dry works well carpet dryed pretty quick you can turn on dry only and make some extra passes to speed it up.

Has a cute bag to keep attachments and hose in when not in use and i like that you can put the hose away so that its not constantly in the way or falling off while using upright functions. Minor nitpick if i had to find something would be that it only has the one attachment tool included but really how often do you really use all the different attachments? so over all super pleased with my purchase.

I’m pretty satisfied with this carpet cleaner. If I had to rate from 1-10 on how well it cleans the carpet I would rate a 7. On how well it dries the carpet would be a 9. I don’t like how small the tanks are.

If you have to go over spots a few times you’ll be emptying the clean and dirty tanks quite often. Very simple to use. Can be pushed and pulled easily. The soap tank seems to hold a small amount of liquid, but lasts quite a while.

Tons of soap is not used while cleaning. I like that it cleans a larger area of carpet compared to my past carpet cleaners. This machine is by far the easiest one to take apart to clean the brushes, etc.

**Some advice to keeping this machine in good health is to make sure you clean it after every use! So important not to skip cleanings! I do recommend giving this cleaner a try it’s better than the average one.

I have not had any problems yet, but will definitely update this review if something happens.

What I like: it’s small, not overly heavy so it’s easy to get around the house to where I need to use it. It’ll also store well because of its size. It does a great job on the carpets. I cleaned two rooms today, my first day having it and some areas were really stained and set.

It cleaned them right up. Because the carpets were in such need of cleaning I’m going to go over them again until the water coming in is not dirtied as directions suggested, but for initial use I’m really impressed and happy with my purchase.

Putting it together was a breeze and putting the clean water tank on board is simple as well. The water collection tank was a tad trickier the first time removing it – should have read all the way through the directions before attacking my floors! But I figured it out and it was super simple and goes in and out of place easily.

Cleaning things when I was done was also simple. One of my carpets sheds badly every time it’s vacuumed/cleaned. Along the way, even though it had been vacuumed, there were little wet carpet fiber bunnies being trailed behind here and there.

So when I was done I flipped the machine over — easily because of its size — and pulled out the wet fibers from the bottom of the machine and those stuck to the roller. That said, I was impressed the roller really didn’t have much of anything stuck to it.

My vacuum needs a good clean up every time it’s used. This just wasn’t bad at all. What I dislike: the advantage of it being small is also its disadvantage. The tanks, as others said in reviews, are small.

The clean water tank needed refilling often during my cleaning session. Two times per room and really just got the heavy traffic areas. I found I could get two clean tanks into the collector tank before it needed dumping.

Also the dumping of the collector tank was messy at first. And figuring out how to put the center back into place and fit the ring over it took some fiddling. The long run is my primary concern though.

It’s great to use now and I’ll take care of it and maintain it to run its best, but how long will it hold up? I’ve had numerous machines in the past. I finally gave up and used professional’s for several years as the machines work fit a while but stop suctioning before long.

It was just so expensive though I had to pick and choose the worst rooms at the time then rotate choices for the next cleaning. I’m tired of the expense and trouble of it. Surely carpet cleaners have improved? We’ll see.

I needed to replace my old cleaner of 15+ years and decided to stay with the same Brand. What I do like; The price was the biggest pro. It does clean well but I don’t like the extra spots of dirty water left behind on the floor.

One needs to be aware and vacuum them up fairly quickly. Important not to over saturate the carpet and vacuum over the area without using solution several times plus and carpet will dry faster. The process of cleaning the system is easy and the machine is light enough in weight to pick it up and place over my sink and use the hand sprayer to clean the underneath brush system.

The biggest cons are that it doesn’t have a “water only” selection like my previous cleaner. This means it must always be mixed with a cleaning solution to work properly. If you try to hand spray a stained spot then fill the tank and clean with water only it will run right through in no time.

The other con is the cleaning solution given as a sample. Yes, it works real well and cleans the carpet but the fumes from the fragrance were WAY overpowering. The harsh scent made it difficult to breathe.

So glad it was a nice enough day to open windows and air the house out for a long while. I will need to find a different cleaning solution before I use it again.

The Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Remover should really be in every house with kids and/or pets! We have both and normally use a full sized carpet cleaner on any spots or stains, which would require a full tank of water and solution.

The great thing about the CleanSlate is that it has measurements for both small and large areas so you only fill it to what you need based on the area you’re cleaning. This means less waste of water and cleaning solution which saves money in the long run! The tank is simple to fill and empty and even when using it for larger areas, it’s fairly lightweight.

It worked great on stains from spilled drinks, mud tracked inside as well as the interior in my car. My favorite thing about this spot cleaner are the three brush attachments and the hose cleaner tool! The tight spot tool works wonderfully along baseboards and in vehicle interior, which I could never reach with my regular cleaner.

When using the CleanSlate all of the dirty water gets sucked through the hose into the tank which is pretty satisfying to see but definitely leaves the clear hose looking pretty gross. The hose cleaner rinse does exactly what it says it does, cleans all of that yuck out of the hose so it doesn’t make your cleaner stink.

I didn’t know I needed that option until I cleaned the hose the first time and now I think it should really be standard lol Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Remover.

It’s portable, lightweight and works great at removing stubborn stains with minimal effort. If you’ve got kids or pets, you should definitely have this spot cleaner too, you won’t regret it!.

I cannot say enough about the CleanSlate Pet machine by Hoover. My family includes the sweetest little Shih Tzu puppy, named Doobie. He’s 9 years old but, is very much the energetic, snuggle bug he’s always been, except he’s experienced a bit of intermittent tummy trouble these past couple years.

Most recently, our front entry rug bore the brunt of an episode. Luckily, our Hoover CleanSlate Pet was delivered later that day. It was incredibly easy to assemble and intuitive in design. I was amazed at how lightweight it is, even when full.

There was an included bottle of cleaning fluid and a packet of scent booster, which smells fresh and clean. I love that there are a few choices for brush heads, one for upholstery, one for carpets, and a smaller “crevice” attachment were all included.

Solids removed, and odors neutralized, I began cleaning by pushing the solution button on the handle attachment, while scrubbing, to work it in well. I moved on to other areas to give the solution a minute to work is magic.

Then, I began extraction. Unlike other similar machines that I’ve used in the past, the extraction took very little pressure to suck up a bunch of nasty water. We keep a clean house but, the color of the waste water was shocking but, completely gratifying.

I made a couple applications on necessary areas but in general, it only took one pass or so to clean the rest of the rug. Not only did this leave the rug noticeably brighter and clean, we could not get over how soft the rug felt after it dried and how there was a pretty sheen to it that we forgot it even had.

It smelled amazingly fresh for days. The clean up for this machine is equally as impressive. The hose cleaning attachment housed in the lid is genius. It redirects the cleaning fluid back through the hose taking all of the dirt and fibers accumulated with it, right into the waste reservoir.

This is hands down, the easiest clean up of any machine of this type that I’ve owned. After successfully cleaning the rug, I was inspired to tackle the bane of our household’s existence, the ugly green couch.

This couch has had a foot out the door for years. We want to replace it but, have serious reno plans in mind that we’d like to finish first. So, this poor, ugly couch has sat for way too long, unable to be cleaned by our carpet cleaning guys, because they don’t clean these types.

I seldom left reviews for products I purchased before. But feel it this time to support the company with such a great product. We have a cat and he has a sensitive stomach and threw up quite a lot. Therefore, we had quite some stains on the carpet in the house.

We paid professional cleaning last year to clean up the stains but it did not remove it completely. You can still tell where it is and our cat of course threw up afterwards. The professional cleaning was expensive and we can’t have them in every week.

So the stain the carpet has been my headache and I thought about replacing all carpet with hardwood floor. Then I found this product and the solutions. I used the power brush, pro oxy solution, and boost solution.

All the old and recent stains are gone as well as the smells! It’s just magic. Now I’m so relieved and so happy with the results. Three tips for new user like me: Wear gloves while handling the solutions as it may be irritating when splashing on your hand; Second, try to figure out how to remove the dirty water tank before you actually use it to avoid leaking when you deal with it later with real dirty water in it.

Lastly, clean up the brush as it can be very dirty after use.
