20 Best Carpet Foam Cleaner (2022 Updated)

I have tried several dirt lifters but none of them seemed to prep my heavy traveled areas like this one. When dirt comes in with you your carpet pays the price. The most traveled areas are always the worst and the hardest to get clean.

i recommend this foam to anyone needed to refresh their carpet. The scent of it will leave your entire house smelling clean and fresh. It really helps with those pet orders. I keep a (4 pack) Febreze Heavy Traffic Foaming Carpet Cleaner, Gain, 22 Oz.

This has a fantastic scent. Took a little extra time before vacuuming, but it left my carpet fresh. I have a cat and a German Shepherd, so basically my entire house is a “heavy traffic” area. I saw and smelled a noticeable difference while applying this and after vacuuming.

The scent was a little overwhelming during application, but it was well-balanced after vacuuming. The spray nozzle works well and the product came out of the can effortlessly. It didn’t clog or anything, but I also used it all in one run.

I will definitely be using this again. I tend to use the Arm.

This carpet spray y’all!! I have VERY light grey carpet, and 3 kids and a dog. Needless to say, my carpet gets messy! Just YESTERDAY my daughter dropped a plate with ketchup on the floor, which splattered all over.

Of course she didn’t tell me until I found it hours later and it had already dried. This AMAZING spray cleaned it all, every single spot. There is no residual stains, not even a tint. Also it smells SO GOOD! I have never used a better carpet cleaner.

My daughter’s RAV4 was disgusting, inside and out, but particulary inside. All of the seats were stained. I used Citrus Fabric Clean, diluted about 7:1, sprayed thoroughly, and agitated with a drill brush.

After extracting with a small Bissel spot removing machine and warm water, the seats look brand new! I wish I had taken before and after photos, but 1) I was too embarassed to show the before image, and 2) I wasn’t sure the product would be so effective.

It worked very well, and smells nice, too.

It’s not really meant for bad fabric surface stains or chunky stuff that’s stuck, but it gets everything underneath instead that makes a smell and makes the fabric immediately more pleasant. It prefers a strong brushing, so bring a stiff brush.

Then use a car wash vac to get it out. Dries surprisingly quickly even when nearly soaked when used this way. Smells fairly neutral, lets the car be naturally fresh. Window down for some fresh air becomes a lot more enjoyable, fights smells your heat picks up and swirls around.

My only complaint with this product was I am not smart enough to get it out of the container correctly. Besides that and after much manipulation on my part, once I get some out, it has worked wonders.

There is one Throw rug, that had dried up poop on it and it was my only area where the INSTAclean™ Stomp ‘N Go Stainlifting Pads did not work perfectly and I sprayed some of the Crud Suds® Foaming Carpet formula and waited and Wa La, the dried up poop came off and the stain was gone.

I have not come across a Bissell product that I don’t like.

I returned from visiting my daughter and son-in-law for the birth of our first grandchild. She and my son-in-law just had their carpeting professionally steam cleaned for the occasion, and it looked really nice.

During our stay, their kitty threw up a hair ball all over their freshly cleaned living room carpet. I was amazed to see my son-in-law pull out a Crud Suds and, with paper towels, he quickly and completely remove the mess and the smell.

Once dried, we could not tell that anything had happened to their light colored carpeting. All he needed to clean up the mess was the Crud Suds and absorbent paper towels. No bucket, no water, no scrub brush, no pulling out a cleaning machine.

I asked my son-in-law where he bought this amazing product, and he said it was on the pet aisle at his grocery store. I was unable to find it in my town but found it here, only after ordering it for a higher price at Amazon.

From now on, I’ll come here to order.

This product isn’t the best thing out there. When I would use it in a stain my puppy left, it would look like it was picking it up but would just spread the stain with the foam. The smell was nice and it’s a nice concept but it wouldn’t pick up the stain and only caused bigger problems for me! I would not repurchase.

easy to use. my upholstery stains were very old,I had given up on finding a product that would work. This did after ? 3 yrs of looking and 3 applications it was wonderful. Just wish I could tell you what the stain was from,it was the size of my small hand and having a darker blue color on a mint green color.

I purchased this product to clean the carpets in my car. I purchased it because it was dry cleaning and had an odor eliminator. I applied the product to the carpets and it worked well. One shakes the can and applies the product which is a foam.

I applied a lot of foam covering the carpet. I let it stand for 10 minutes and then used the applicator on the can as well as a brush to scrub the carpet. I let the carpet dry and repeated the process.

I had one tough coffee stain which did take elbow grease to remove it. I am very pleased with the results. The carpets are clean and the product did not leave a strong odor. I recommend Blue Coral very much.

So I was going fishing this past Saturday. Drove to my friends place to pick him up at 5am with my dog in tow. I pull up to the house and leave the dog inside my car thinking I’m just going to be in and out.

Wasn’t gone for more than TEN MINUTES! I come back and my dog has unleashed a fire storm in my back seat. It was like the first part of the movie independence day but instead of destroying my car with a giant laser it was destroyed by giant watery poop nuggets.

I pick up/wipe up the abomination and spray some all purpose cleaner on the seat to try to get it up. It did not do the job. As i go in to get more towels i notice that my dog has ALSO pooped in my front passenger seat!! So again i try to clean That up with the all purpose cleaner.

It’s not working all too well but its fishing time we need to hit the road. So we stop by Walmart grab some air fresheners and head out. Long story short we drive about 2 hours smelling like coconut and poop.

After I get back I go to autozone and tell them i have dog poop to get out of my car. After they laugh at me they proceed to tell me they have exactly what i need. Skeptical at how sure they are at the poop removal abilities of this blue can I proceed and purchase it.

Boy I tell you what, I have never used a poop remover that worked so well and fast in my life! The smell is GONE and the stain is gone. Didn’t even take more than 10 minutes for all 3 seats. Highly recommended.

I got this to clean the carpet where my cats eat. Sometimes they clomp onto a mouthful of wet cat food and walk away from the plate and eat it on the carpet; therefore, I needed to clean the carpet. I swept the carpet with a rubber-toothed broom I got at the State Fair one year (this also picks up most of the cat fur they shed).

I also have a vacuum that gets any of the litter they may track onto the carpet prior to using the carpet cleaner. I shook up the spray cleaner, attached it to the assembled the cleaner, and pushed the brush with the spray cleaner all over the carpet.

This did a great job of removing the remaining food bits the cats left behind after eating and ended by vacuuming after this dried (it’s not sopping wet, though – only moist). Also, what’s great is that there’s no overpowering fragrance, only CLEAN scent! I can recommend using this if you have pets.

(They don’t use napkins to wipe faces/paws nor do they move a plate over to where they want to eat. ).

I don’t have pets and we don’t wear shoes in our house, but every now and then when we have a party we can’t ask people to remove their shoes. So, after the last party, my carpet was stained as expected.

I had been debating going back to the store and renting a carpet cleaner. but I was not thrilled with how musty they smelled. I saw this product at the store and thought, for the price, I would give it a try.

I must say it met more than my expectations. The stains came out beautifully and my carpet looks like it did before the party. I would definitely use it again and I will keep a can on hand for those everyday stain mishaps.

I do agree that the smell is a little overpowering, so I highly recommend using it in a well ventilated area. I’m sure the smell will dissipate and the room will smell fresh within a day. Also, a stronger handle would be nice.

They don’t tell you how long the normal wait is before it completely dries, but I’m pretty sure that’s because it varies by carpet type and the amount of foam that you use. I used a floor fan after we were done and the carpet is almost dry so it took about an hour in a 400 square-foot room.

I would recommend two to three cans for that size room. We only cleaned the high traffic areas so two cans were plenty with a little bit left over for the hallway stains. For the price, you can’t go wrong with this product.

Great Value Foaming Carpet Cleaner is a pretty poor product. Usually I like buying off-brands because of their cheaper price than the big name brands but in this case, the off-brand is not worth it. It has poor performance and scent.

Great Value Foaming Carpet Cleaner is a little cheaper than the name brands. It’s worth paying the extra money for the name brand because this product is pretty bad. Firstly, it doesn’t really foam. The spray just kind of comes out in a mostly liquid form and does not foam at all.

It also has a pretty strong chemical smell that sticks around even after you clean up the product. I followed the directions and allowed the product to sit for a while. After cleaning up the product I noticed it did not even touch the spilled coffee I was trying to clean up.

I tried to use it again on the spot and it worked a little bit on it but nothing compared to what other products do. I do not recommend Great Value Foaming Carpet Cleaner. It doesn’t foam, it smells bad and the scent lingers, and it doesn’t even clean up stains!.

This stuff works! We have tried a multitude of cleaning products and NOTHING comes close to Resolve Foam. We have used this on both our carpet and our couch upholstery with no issue. The foam even cleaned some set in water stains on the couch that I was simply convinced were there for good.

Be careful not to oversaturate the problem areas as you will get a dull residue from the formula but a damp rag will clean that away if it happens. A little of this product goes a long way but I always keep a back stock of this foam on hand.

We just adopted a second puppy so we have our work cut out for us!.

I had to deal with days-old, very dark brown liquidy cat vomit on my non-shag carpet. This product did a very good job lifting the colour and odour out with some elbow grease as well. First I scraped up the dry solids, then I applied cleaner diluted with hot water from a squeeze bottle to the spots, scrubbed with a small brush and then vacuumed the liquid up with my carpet cleaner.

I repeated the process a couple of times to get it all, but it’s gone now.

We had some dark red stains on our carpets and had already tried several other carpet cleaners before we finally tried Zep. The stains are not completely gone but they are 50% lighter than they were with all the other carpet cleaners combined.

It’s clearly strong stuff.

It did an OK job cleaning my rug. Yes my rug looked better, but it certainly did not look new. There were several stains I tried cleaning with extra Resolve, but the stains didn’t fade at all. I then scrubbed them with a slightly soapy (from hand soap!) sponge, and the stains came right out.

I don’t know if Resolve helped loosen the stains first, but the hand soap certainly did a better job than Resolve at actually removing them. This product also smells strongly. The label says it leaves rugs smelling cleaner.

However, for me, the artificial “fresh” scent was incredibly overpowering. I had to open all of my windows overnight before I could comfortably breath in the room with the cleaned rug.

We have 3 dogs and 2 boys. All I can say is this stuff is a life saver. It is great on getting out stains. I spray on the area and let it sit for a couple minutes and then scrub with a cloth. I have used it on my area rugs and even on our micro suede furniture.

It has yet to fail me. I think I might have had 2 incidents that I had to do a second application but I would definitely recommend this stuff especially if you have pets.

Before renting a shampooer/cleaner, try this 409. I used (5) cans in my place – 1650 sq. ft. , w/30 yr. old carpet > I sprayed solid foam in heavy areas > Swept with broom to loosen fibers > Let sit till almost dry > Swept again in heavy areas > Vacuumed After surgery I had an open wound which needed to be field dressed every day.

My carpet floor was covered in blood spots/stains. It was (6) mos. after I healed, I cleaned my carpet with 409. Great Results w/ Nice Smell. Now it has been(2) yrs. I ordered (2) cans for touch-up. Once Again!!! Great Results w/ Nice Smell.

When on SS, you have to try alternative methods. Just can not afford equipment.

This carpet cleaner is the best I’ve ever used. It foam up when you first spray it on, you let it sit for a few minutes, and once the foam is no longer foam, you rub it away with a towel or a brush. It works on any kind of carpet but unfortunately cant fully remove every stain- but definitely more and better than any of the other rug cleaner out.

It also works amazing in the car on the carpets the seats. It works with pet stains as well. Not only dose it remove stain but it gets the smell out as well. Not only do I use this in my home and my car but my cleaning business as well.

It’s one of the only cleaning products I use in my business that isn’t considered a “industry straight” product but can hope up to the “industry straight” products. It actually smells good not a horrible chemical smell like other rug cleaner *Best part is it wont harm children pets if they come in contact with the area you just cleaned so you dont have to worry about hurting anyone or anything.

The smell of this product is a little bit chemically, but not overwhelming, I use it when Roxianna has an accident; she’s only 1yrs. old, after all. It’s super simple; she misses the pad, I spray directly on affected area, let it sit about 2-3min.

It comes out foamy, by the time I come get the stain out, it’s very easily lifted. Great product.

Depending on the animal where the stain is, it works ok-pretty well. It doesn’t work on couch cushions, even if you have the vacuum that goes with it. The smell off of a couch is pretty hard to get rid of.

If it’s carpet though, this works pretty well just on its own. If you add the vacuum too, stain smell are completely gone, even to a dogs nose!.

Our puppy had been obsessed with my new rug. it was a matter of time until she marked it. Thankfully, two factors helped: she is super well-hydrated and constantly going outside in an effort to house-train, so it was a very mild mark; and second, we had this cleaner.

The foam is abundant and saturates the mark without getting everything overly soaking wet, the brush head works great, and it all dries super fast. One round with the vacuum and all is well. Definitely a staple to keep in your dog-friendly home with carpet.

Worked great! A small bottled cleaned four rooms and can do it again. We do have the Kirby vacuum with carpet cleaning attachment.

This has been a life saver! I have a beige upholstery couch, a toddler, and a large black dog. I also happen to love red wine and coffee. To say there have been spillage would be an understatement. I’ve had my toddler take a full (but cold, because I’m a mom) mug of coffee and dump it on the couch.

The dog has jumped up and knocked over a full wine glass. There have been pet messes, toddler art work, and everything in between. We even got a cleaning warranty with the purchase of the couch, but thanks to Woolite, we haven’t had to use it.

It still looks new! The only reason for 4 stars is the really heavy perfume smell, it’s a bit overpowering, but for the magic it does to my couch, I’ll live with the strong smell.

This stuff is insane. It got 3 year old nail polish and discoloration from a “sensory putty incident†out of our carpet. We were thinking we would need to replace the carpet. We had had the carpet cleaned professionally multiple times and they did nothing compared to what 2 applications of Folex did.

I’ve also used it on upholstery. I don’t understand why more people don’t know about this product, but it is a staple in my house. There is no odor, and I didn’t wear gloves while coming into contact with it, and my sensitive skin was unaffected by it.

If you have a carpet stain you haven’t been able to get out, it is worth it to try this stuff.

Just ordered my second bottle of Folex. I’m not being compensated in any way but I need to tell you that this is one terrific product. My 9 month old Great Dane puppy brought clumps of wet Georgia red clay/dirt into my house and onto my pale blue carpet.

I think I scared off one carpet cleaning company when I told him what I needed cleaned. Sooo, I got out my Folex, sprayed a little area to test it, then went to work on the rest. I actually just purchased this from Amazon for the first time about 2-3 weeks ago. Ive used many different carpet sprays to try to get small spots out of our carpet. Mainly coffee stains or juice stains from our 3 year old.

Nothing would pull them up. I would scrub them and it would look like the stain was coming out. and as soon as it was dried, the stain would be right there as usual. This Folex was a complete shock! I had heard it was great but didn’t believe it because of my previous disappointment in other products.

Folex lifted all out coffee stains, even larger ones, several juice/popsicle stains! Ive even used it on clothing where my 3 year old got hot pink ink pen on my nude sweatpants I had just gotten the day before! It came right out! Ty FOLEX!.

It doesn’t clean as it’s advertised. My carpet wasn’t really in need of a deep clean, just high traffic areas looking like high traffic areas so my OCD kicked in & I decided to use the Rug Doctor bc a professional cleaning wasn’t necessary.

Wrong choice!.

It worked great for my purposes once I got the hang of it. Cleaning it was kind of difficult because the discharge tank didn’t want to drain all the stuff out easily and things get stuck in there like the roller as well.

Basically had to stick a garden hose in there and squirt it out. You don’t want to clean it in your house or drain it in your tub because it will clog up your tub and mess it up bad but that’s because the machine really cleaned the carpet so good.

I had no idea how dirty my carpet was until I emptied the discharge tank. WOW!!! So glad I did it. Bottom line, the carpet got CLEAN.

One of the better carpet cleaners I’ve used. For high traffic areas, I’ve sprayed this directly on my carpet in full strength and let it sit for a bit. Then, I wet vacuumed and the carpet looked a lot brighter.

Great foaming action. Dont use a lot. A had a soft drink spill from having a quick stop. Hosed off the mat with water then followed with short treatment with this product. Cleaned up like new. I just keep it around for spot cleaning.
