20 Best Carpet For Playroom (2022 Updated)

Great rug, I have to say. Super soft and feels amazing when you walk on it or play on it with the baby. Loved it for about a month, until it started getting “less white” – one unfortunate thing we all overlooked is that this is a white rug, which means that regular day activities, and even no shoes, make this rug “dirty-looking” quick.

Which is unfortunate because it makes it a waste of a lot of money for rug cleaning supplies. Since the rug is in the baby’s room we want it clean as the baby plays with their toys all over. Likewise, because the rug is white, you see every little piece of lint or any tiny darker than white piece of anything! Which constantly warrants vacuuming.

This rug is wonderful, yes, EXCEPT for the extra work and money needed to be spent to keep it clean. I’ll be looking for something similar in a darker color. I wish this rug came in different colors!.

I had to take a chance on this rug as there were no reviews, and I am so happy that I did. The photos do not show how amazingly soft this rug is, it’s like silk. My 20 month old has been laying on it since we got it making “snow angels”.

It’s divine. I will say that it is not plush or thick, we got a rug pad to go under it. So happy with this rugs usa purchase!.

This is a great mat, I’m so glad I decided to go with this and not a cheaper mat on Amazon. It has a great weight to it, so baby/toddlers can’t move it while playing or running. It is very easy to clean and wipe up messes as it is water proof.

The best part, when I took it out of the box, it did not SMELL, which is so nice knowing by kid isn’t breathing in toxic chemicals. It was well worth the $200. I will def buy another for another part of the house.

We recently added this to a new playroom space and it is much loved by the kiddos. I was expecting the patterned rug side (not the road side) to be a rug material but it is the same printed foam as the backside.

Not sure if I missed that in the description, but thought it might help others make a decision about it. It’s a nice playroom accessory, though perhaps a bit pricy for the size and material.

This was such a great purchase. It’s very pretty and it’s nice and thick. Some people mentioned an odor, but that was not the case with ours. We unrolled it at night and by morning it was nice and flat even the edges.

I can’t rave about it enough really. Great product and we’re considering a second one.

I bought this rug for my home-based childcare facility. It is a wonderful addition to our playroom; which has wood floors. The rug adds warmth and cushion for the children while playing on the floor.

We recently bought this rug for circle time for 3 year old preschoolers. The colors are great and the rug is well constructed. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because we haven’t used it for very long, so I can’t speak to it’s durability.

My toddler LOVES this rug and plays on it and with it all the time. It occupies her for a good hour and she now loves to stay alone in her room to play. excellent PRODUCT AND VERY EDUCATIONAL.

So being a “germaphobe” even before covid we barely ever had any rugs that were too big to fit in a washing machine. I just couldn’t get over the idea of walking on a rug repeatedly and not being able to wash it.

Until I heard about ruggable! I finally feel I can decorate our house and make it cozier while knowing I’m keeping out family safe from whatever our dog drags in from outside! I wasn’t sold on the monkey print and wanted the plush Moroccan for the nursery but my husband said we should be more fun for his room.

Love the pattern. We got the thick pad to make it work for baby’s play area, and that works great! The washing process is easy. Getting the rug back on is a little difficult and never perfect. And the rug came with multiple pulls in the outer border which frustrated me.

Otherwise it would be a 5/5.

The rug itself if beautiful and perfect for my son’s nursery, however, we have carpet in the bedrooms and it constantly slides around and needs repositioned, and even slid out from under the recliner that we tried to use to anchor it.

I will definitely purchase more ruggables with the nice quality, but I don’t intend on using them on carpeted areas as accents!.

I got these about a month ago and I’m extremely happy with them. The whole concept it pretty genius. Carpet gets a stain that won’t come out just replace a single tile instead of the whole room. These are good quality and install very easily, just peel and stick.

I am a gramma (and a retired teacher) babysitting my grandkids full time. I bought this rug to use in the playroom I am setting up for us to use during the day when I have them. The colors are vibrant.

The quality is awesome. I plan to use it as an educational tool as the babies get bigger. I already have so many games in mind to use with this run. Right now, it is just comfy and beautiful. as I spend much of my day sitting on it with the little ones!.

Colors are very similar to the photo. There is room for around 1 teacher and 6 children. The kids use the rug in their play, identifying the letters and numbers. Low, tight pile is easy to vacuum – sand/dirt/crumbs don’t get stuck between the pilings.

I wanted a new learning rug to put in my early educational room. This rug is perfect! It is very colorful and instantly brightened up my room. My 1 and 2 year olds love looking at the sun and the clouds.

My co-workers are jealous and want one for their rooms. So far, it has held up to the traffic of little feet.

This rug is so beautiful but the size of the continents are so inaccurate that it makes me sad. This has the U. S. portrayed as the center of our world and the size of it compared to Africa really is just upsetting to see.

My students would use these squares after we had a lesson. These squares and a clipboard allowed them to get comfortable and work independently or with a partner. They loved doing this!

This was the second purchase of these colorful carpet squares. The bright colors are very popular with the preschool students who use them and for the most part actually stay seated on them. The square size is good for preschool students.

We work on color recognition when they are collected, requesting one color at a time. I have had repair need on some of the carpet binding where thread gave out or binding was weak but that was maybe 4 out of 24.

The squares are brightly colored and come in a very convenient storage box with a handle. The kids like helping putting them away. The squares are soft, light, and flexible, making it easy for even our three year olds to carry them.

There are four of each color so we let the kids pick their color. These are great for helping the little ones understand when it is time to settle down and focus on the lesson. Great for spacing kids from each other and toys.

The students love the bright colors on this carpet. It keeps their attention and makes learning the alpahbet a fun and rewarding game.

I paid extra for the pad with more cushion and the rug moves all over the floor. I won’t be purchasing this rug again. It is pretty and the washable feature is nice but it is not worth the irritation of the rug sliding all over the floor.

I reposition the rug every day. I even invested in another rug pad to put under the ruggable rug and pad. The rug pad stays in place and the ruggable rug still slides. I absolutely hate this rug but since I have had it and washed it a few times I can’t take it back.

I do not recommend.

With five dachshunds Ruggable has been a savior. We now own five of them, and plan to get two more for our upstairs bedrooms. They are durable, holding up to almost daily vacuuming, rainy day bathroom accidents, five sets of muddy wet feet, and hot chocolate spills from my niece.

They wash easily and still look brand new after months of use and being washed every other week. The ability to wash these rugs has greatly improved my allergies as well. My only complaint is that they are hard to keep smooth.

I found myself constantly having to smooth out lumps and bubbles that appear from daily use, such as playing with our dogs on it. Other than that one complaint, I would definitely recommend these rugs to everyone.

They make life with dogs, and in general so much easier, and more important cleaner!!.

It would have been cheaper to buy a rug from Target, but I would have probably thrown away 3 of those rugs by now. Between the dogs and my baby’s black berry smashing spree I think this rug has been washed just about every week since I got it.

I am happy to report it still looks like new several months later. My only regret is that I didn’t buy a bigger one, but that’s a problem I intend to fix soon!.

I purchased the Parviz 5×7 washable area rug in Grey My Magic Carpet. It’s very, very thin but I guess that’s so you can wash it. My problem is with the color. The black is dark round the edge of the design in the middle BUT the grey looks really, really washed out so it looks as if the rug has faded.

Not very attractive. I am considering returning it.

I ordered this rug after reading other reviews that itthe color was not as described and would have been okay with blue, but the rug is exactly as pictured, white and grey. It is really attractive, easy to clean and works perfectly with my robovac.

I brightens the room.

I bought this rug to put next to my bed because my dog loves to roll on my rug and it gets so dirty. It’s absolutely beautiful. Built in traction so that it doesn’t slide. My only complaint is it’s actually semi-slick.

So when my dog jumps off the bed she doesn’t really have any traction. I love it so much I’m just gonna pick her up and put her on the ground every morning!.

This is so soft! I bought it for my classroom and the kids love sitting in on it. It’s great quality but still light enough weight that I can easily move it around. Colors are beautiful and light for a calming addition to the classroom.

Bought this for our nursery. The pattern is nice and the rug is very soft, but it feels like walking on fresh light snow. I’m a little afraid of slipping on it when walking with baby.

After ordering about 20 samples (which really helped us narrow down our options, plus we were skeptical about floor tiles), we decided on Copper for a dining area and ordered enough for 8 x 10. The color looks great both during the day and in the evening.

We’ve gotten so many compliments and highly recommend these floor tiles. Made You Look is great for high traffic areas and the chair legs move easily on it. Since it is a dining area and we were worried about stains I tested a sample by putting drops of oil on it – and then cleaned it in the sink.

You can’t even see where the oil was. But we are most impressed about how the rug finished the dining room – we keep looking at it and are so pleased. It also helped the sound quality in the room and took the noise level down quite a bit.
