20 Best Carpets For Pets (2022 Updated)

I usually dont do installs of anything, that’s my husbands job. But hes been busy and I’ve been waiting a week, so I took it upon myself. Now I’ll tell you I’m not totally incapable of doing projects but ones that require me to cut things scares me, I’m always afraid I’ll mess up.

These were so easy even I did it without incident. Easy to lay, easy to cut, and apparently stick to anything. I used them in my closet that only has particle board and they stuck beautifully. They made my closet feel upscale.

So instead of walking on wood I get to walk on carpet. It’s not soft, or shaggy, but it’s pretty. It’s easy to vacuum or even sweep with a broom. They were real easy to install, the back paper has arrows so you know you’re laying them all the same way.

Like I said they stick very well. All in all it was about an hour job but only because I had to move stuff out to lay them and cut some.

I’ve remodeled my entire basement, but I didn’t do anything with my two storage room floors yet. The floors are concrete and I didn’t want to just paint them. The peel and stick carpet tiles turned out to be the best solution.

They’re so easy to install, just make sure the surface is clean before placing them down. It was easier them installing carpet and way faster. The end result looks amazing. The tiles are durable and hold up.

I would recommend this product to others. I have a large walk in closet that I will be doing next.

The Foss First Impressions City Block Sky Grey commercial peel and stick carpet tile are just what I needed for my wood working area. The tiles were easy to install and covered the working area. I measured off the area, cleaned the concrete floor and easily positioned the carpet tiles.

We are using the Sky Grey color. I wanted some protection from the cold in the winter from the concrete floor. The tiles are easy to clean, have been using a shop-vac on them, and they have stayed attached to the floor well.

I recommend.

Love the graphic on this pillow. Fabric is rough, like canvas. But it isn’t for sleeping on – it’s decor. And it stands up and looks good on our couch.

We had almost 1100 sq. ft. of this carpet installed after a reno and the effect was amazing. Lowe’s installer did an incredible job and the transformation in the house was worth every penny. We went with an upgrade on the under pad and were glad we did.

We highly recommend this carpet as it was a great price and a beautiful addition to our home. Very pleased with the installation and the carpet!.

They are exactly what you see in the picture. The colour is perfect and the print is awesome for a cottage. The fabrics is a bit rough as it is linen and the pillow insert is firm.

I ordered the Skid-Resistant Carpet Runner Pebble Beige, 27″ x 24′ and expected that it would look like the one shown online. It did not. The weave runs up and down the runner; not side to side. The rug color and binding color do not match what is shown online (see attached photo).

The runner is also 3″ shorter in length. However, we decided to keep it as the color was okay with the floor. It does not bunch up when vacuuming it – which was stated online and is appreciated. It arrived within a week in a box, rolled up – and it lay flat almost immediately.

No chemical smell. We just put it down today, so time will tell how durable it is. It was disappointing to receive a product that did not appear as described on Houzz. Hopefully they will update their product photos.

I am so incredibly happy with my runner rug! I have chemical sensitivities and I was concerned that the rug would be loaded with chemicals. When I received the rug I was pleasantly surprised – there was very little chemical smell!! Thank you so much! I am so happy with my rug!.

This carpet runner appears to be quite good quality, and the rubber backing material is done well. We’re using this as a runner at the main entrance door, as a dirt/grime cover, over carpet – and it’s doing a good job.

Initially, we thought this might have been a bit pricey, but when we compared it to similar items at the local home improvement stores, we discovered that this was quite a good value. We just ordered another of these for the hallway.

This rug invites to be stepped on barefoot. A hidden gem and it goes with everything. Easy to clean, too. Follow the instructions and use only vacuuming without the rolling brush, this rug is somewhat delicate, or you may lose fibers.

So far no shedding as seen in other reviews. The silver rug is great. The pink rug that we got for our daughters’ room, however, came coated with a strange dusty stiff substance and didn’t feel nearly as soft as the silver rug, so we’ll take it to the cleaners first before reviewing.

It’s definitely what I expected. I’ve purchased a similar rug at HomeGoods. Looks like nice quality- although I would have benefited from fluffing the carpet. The strands are still flat from unrolling it.

Hope I can keep this clean with toddlers! I only laid the carpet today, so I can’t speak to any shedding or stain control.

Horrible quality. Really thin and lays flat. Lumpy. Returned both rugs (bought a round and rectangle). Had to pay the shipping charges of over $100 to return a product that wasn’t as it was represented on the website.

Half was dark. Half was light! Horrible!.

I got these peel and stick carpet tiles a couple weeks ago and installed them in my garage. I have a door that leads from inside my house to the garage and I put them in the walkway on the garage side so when you are exiting the garage to come back into the house there is a place to either clean off your shoes, or leave them.

They were extremely easy to install, you literally peel the paper backing off and stick it onto the floor. It has a sticky adhesive on the back side. I would definitely recommend cleaning your existing floors before doing this to ensure there is no dirt or debris left on the floor so that these have a clean surface to stick to.

I laid them all over the floor in front of the door In a large rectangular pattern and its a perfect transitional space. The hobnail black is a great color that looks sophisticated and still hides a lot of dirt.

The carpets are really easy to clean, I either take a broom or a light vacuum to them when they are looking dirty. Overall I am happy with these and how unbelievably easy they are to install.

I would really like to see how the Peel and Stick First Impressions Black Ice Hobnail Texture 24×24 Commercial Carpet Tiles hold up to actual use before submitting review. My first impression is that they are thin and the weave of the carpet is not tight.

The stickiness seems to work for placement, the tiles remind me of a cheap doormat or boot mat. I have them placed in an area with high traffic and they are holding up ok. I am unsure if the product will pass the test of time.

I do not think the sticky part will last through a georgia summer.

This is a good mat, but not for our leopard gecko. I had one in my ball python enclosure and it worked great. The leopard gecko obviously likes the way it feels on his belly, but when he tries to snag the crickets that we feed his tiny teeth get hung up in the fabric.

I’ll keep shopping for something better for him.

I like these little carpets. I lined a few things with them like my baby chameleon enclosures and my tortoise habitats. They are easy for reptiles to walk and and it makes cleaning a breeze because you just rinse them down and squeeze it out and place to dry.

It is very unnatural though but I recommend for reptiles that are picky with substrate, sick reptiles, or if you like a clean look to an enclosure.

I use this for the basking area for my red-eared slider. I love her to pieces but she’s very messy and destructive – and this carpet is thankfully very durable. She has not been able to tear it up and it can pretty easily be washed off (it dries quickly!).

She has gotten lots of water on it and we’ve had no problems. She also loves the carpet versus just rock to lay on.

I love this runner. LOVE it. It is so perfect in my mudroom, and I get a lot of peace of mind knowing I can wash it when it gets punished by the Oregon winter. The texture, size, and color saturation are all fantastic! The one thing that I’m a little disappointed about is that despite the claims, it doesn’t *really* stay without sliding around a bit (yes I have the pad underneath) when we wipe our feet.

The pad is also about 3″ shorter than the rug, which means that one end of the rug is not secured to the floor. This has been an issue with both my exterior door and basement door catching the edge of the rug pretty frequently, and it has been really frustrating.

(I do have the flat rug pad. I know the door clearance is part of the issue. But an exterior door has weather stripping – and I didn’t have this issue with a cheap mass retailer rug that was there before.

) I keep trying to tack the corner down but still have issues. Ultimately I think this is more of an issue with the design/size of the rug pad than the rug itself, which is lovely. I hope Ruggable will consider making rug pads closer to the full length of the rug.

I had a large natural fiber rug in my living room. It was perfect for our eclectic style but it was impossible to properly clean, wasn’t very soft under foot, and shed like crazy. This rug works beautifully! Love the look and the feel.

Have washed and dried at home and it looks like new! I have a dog, a pellet stove, teenage sons, we’re an outdoor family, and our home is small, so all of my areas are high traffic. Basically all of the things that make rugs dirty.

I now have two Ruggables and will be purchasing more. I get compliments all of the time. People ask me if these are Ruggables because they’ve looked at them online but have been unsure about purchasing.

I can relate. I thought they were too good to be true. But I love them and know a few of my friends have purchased Ruggables based on seeing mine. I have an 8×10 and a 5×7. The instructions note that you need two people to lay the larger rugs.

I had no issues getting it down by myself without wrinkles. My only complain is that Ruggables promotes a referral program, however, there is no place when ordering to note who referred you.

I was so excited about having a rug that can be washed. I wouldn’t normally spend this much on a rug but the appeal of easy care got me. But the truth is when I got it I had trouble getting it down easily over the Velcro pad.

Which is by the way very thin. So this rug is not cushioned at all. And it attracts dirt like I’ve never seen. I can’t vacuum it like a regular rug either. So I have to sweep it with a broom every few days.

I wished I had never bought this very expensive dirt magnet.

We bought this for our son’s room. It’s a lovely blue and the contrast tassels look nice. My son wanted a very plush rug and this one looked like it fit the bill. But it turns out to be kind of thin, and not that soft underfoot.

The fibers are so long you can’t vacuum it normally, because they get caught in the rollers. Our robot vacuum is constantly getting hung up on this rug. It would probably feel more plush with a pad underneath.

If I was choosing again, I would have tried to find a different rug. If you want shaggy, this is a great choice. If you want something plush, keep looking. Either way, it’s hard to keep clean.

Size was a slightly smaller than listed, but over the years, I’ve learned that’s what to expect. It still fits perfectly in the space I bought it for. Ran the vacuum a few times over, per the instructions and it all fluffed up nicely! I did not place anything on it for 48 hours to let it settle, used weights on one end to flatten the natural up curve from being rolled/shipped.

This is the easiest and safest substrate and it isn’t horribly expensive. My only complaint is that my geckos still ingest some of it. They get it in their mouths when they grab their food and have to yank to get it up.

I assume this isn’t an issue though or i would have heard about it?.

I was carpeting trailer bunks and a walking plank for a double jet ski trailer. I purchased the CE Smith carpet for the bunks and “some place by a foot” brand for the walking plank. I watched many YouTube videos to learn how to do it went to work.

I did the trailer bunks first with the Smith carpet. Working with the smith carpet was very good. I thought the carpet density (Pyle) and craftsmanship of the carpet could be better. I could cut it to length and work with it very easily.

However I can not attest to its durability and longevity yet as I have not placed a ski on the trailer yet. I then used the “something By foot” carpet for the walking plank. That stuff was garbage and frayed worse than your cheapest indoor carpeting.

They claim it has a rubber backing to it but it is the thinnest rubber you have ever seen. Tuffs of carpeting were just falling out all over and made for a lot of clean up after the job was done. I did like quality of the CE Smith carpeting but I wish I could have purchased it with a thicker density so I know It would last a long time.

Very durable product. Makes my 20 year old trailer look like new. Great to have size options for longer bunks. I recommend using new stainless steel mounting hardware. I had to cut off the rusted bolts.

A pneumatic staple gun and 1/4 crown stainless or galvanized staples. A hand stapler with stainless staples did not work with my petrified wood. A spray adhesive like the 3M 90. I glued the carpet to the topsides only.

This kept the carpet in line while stapling.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. IT CLEANS AND SMELLS REALLY GOOD. MY THING IS IF YOU ORDER THIS ON LINE, BE SURE NOT TO ORDER VERY MANY. WHAT I ORDERED, ALONG WITH OTHER ITEMS, WAS ALL PUT IN ONE LARGE BOX. WHEN IT WAS BEING BROUGHT INTO THE HOUSE, THE BOTTOM FELL OUT AND SEVERAL OF MY BOTTLES BUSTED, WENT ALL OVER THE PLACE.

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. NOT SURE I WILL ORDER FROM WAL-MART AGAIN. CAN GET THE SAME PRODUCTS AT OTHER RETAILERS.

I’ve got a cat that thinks my house should smell the way he wants it to. This solution has helped me fight back. Because it’s a never ending battle, I’m buying a few more bottles of this. Great product, easy to use, worked with my Bissell, smells great, and eliminated the urine smell.

My Chihuahua sometimes urinates on my carpet when excited. I use this in my carpet cleaner machine and the spot and it leaves a fresh scent. Very concentrated. A little goes a long way.

I bought 3 Ruggable rugs upon moving into our brand new custom built home. This was my first time buying a Ruggable and I am so happy I made the investment. The variety of styles was great for my eclectic/industrial/mediteranian home and it also allowed my boys to select some funky ones that matched their “big boy room” themes.

Once these rugs are down on the pad they do not budge! It is great. I vacuum 1-2x per day and they stay put and looking fabulous. I am saving to buy a couple more rugs in the near future. Also worth noting I did get the thicker comfort style rug pad as our rugs were for bedrooms and the living room, they are worth the price difference if you are people who walk around barefoot, sit on or play games with kids on the rugs.

I am officially a believer!.

This is my second Ruggable purchase. I have had a runner in our entry for several years now. We recently bought new furniture so a new living room rug was in order and I immediately ordered another Ruggable.

I love the soft colors in this rug. It looks beautiful, vacuums like a dream and best of all, because there’s no tufts or loops in this rug our adorable but mildly destructive cat isn’t tempted to sharpen her claws on the rug (which was the reason we needed a new area rug).

I have not yet laundered it but I definitely plan to wash it regularly. I made a mistake in not laundering our entryway runner, which has become permanently stained over time.

This rug is absolutely beautiful. It does look a little lighter in person than it does on the website, like it is older and a little more distressed, but it really is gorgeous. We have the biggest size available in our dining room.

Honestly, here’s the best part. It doesn’t show stains if food with sauce was dropped on it or if your cat vomited on it right before company arrives, and all you have time to do is a quick wipe up. The pattern has enough colors in it that it disguises all stains (and pet hair) until you have time to wash it! It really is the perfect combination of beauty and utility.

I am quite impressed with Foss Peel and Stick Inspirations Smoke Hobnail 18″ × 18″ Residential Carpet Tiles. The case comes with 16 tiles. I chose the medium grey “Smoke Hobnail” color and pattern for my sunroom.

The floor is concrete, so the carpet tiles make it feel more cozy and put together. They also keep my feet warm in the colder months! I installed these myself, as they are incredibly easy to install.

Received very quickly but was disappointed in the the thickness or lack of it. Not sure how long this will last even in the Master bedroom. We have heavy furniture and the thought of doing this again in a few years.

Beyond pleased!! I did not have high hopes on really loving this carpet, kinda figured I was putting lipstick on a pig! BUTIt turned out super great and I love my new office space!! It was very easy to measure and install!.

We laid these carpet tiles over concrete in the bunkhouse at our cabin. Looks great, easy to install, not very cushiony.

These are fantastic carpet tiles. I have another brand but smaller tile already installed but needed more to finish my man cave. I wish I had started with these to begin with they blend in well but the quality of the new tiles are so much better.

First, I love the big size less time was spent placing these down and covered a much larger area. Second, they stick very well and peeling back the stick area was a breeze. I vacuum the floor with no concern of the tiles moving around.

Last, the carpet is well groomed it has no frays and most importantly my dogs feet huffs do not get caught in the carpet like the other brand.

We purchased these tiles to go in a low traffic office area (30’x15′) and after only a few days of 1 person walking on them they are starting to fray and fall apart. Big piles of the fabric pull off and there are major wear marks.

Literally after less than 5 days of very light foot traffic.

It has held up remarkably well! Between my kids and the neighbors kids that poor floor doesn’t get a break all day! Not one single tile has come lose! I am beyond impressed. I would wholeheartedly recommend this product!.

Our kids kept laying on these in the showroom so we knew they’d love it. The memory foam on these makes them more comfortable than any other rug I’ve owned. And out of all the memory foam rugs at Bobs, this is the softest because of the faux Angora material.

Since we have kids, we got the gray (which looks white) and yes, I’m nervous for how it’ll hold up to stains. But it’s created the most cozy addition to our living room. The white “fur” does shed though.

So have your lint remover ready. It shows up especially on dark clothes. We went with the larger size and it makes the room feel bigger and fits our sectional well. It’s very slippery, so be careful when wearing socks on it.

This rug feels amazing. Like it’s hard to put into words the exact feeling of it. It’s like super soft furry memory foam mattress topper on my floor. The color is great too I’m glad I went with the gray.

If you are on the fence about buying one of these I sincerely suggest you head to a bob location around you and feel it out for yourself. Seriously.

Not only was this giant rug a great price, especially adding in the 5 year planned goof proof, but it is also the most soft rug I’ve ever come across. My partner and I just purchased a home and have done a lot of furniture shopping.

This rug was by far the best we found after going to many other stores. The minute we walked into Bob’s, a child was rolling on this rug and we knew it was special ☺️.

I was looking to match our existing carpet squares from several years ago. I had the manufacture and all the original sku information and was glad to see it was still available. Ordering was simple and delivery was fairly fast.

We had a slight delay from the original delivery date quoted but it was not to long. The carpet is not exactly the same as before but I expected a little difference with dye lots. This is made cheaper than before.

The original squares have a rubber backing and these are much lighter weight with a fabric mesh looking backing. They lay the same and we were able to place them in side offices where the difference does not stand out.

If I was using these as replacements for damaged squares it would be noticeable. Overall we are happy with the purchase and it was a good value for the money.

Purchased for a remodel of a 1000 sq. ft office ,very easy to install and holds well in office environment. We liked it so much when we remodeled the other side of the office building we used the same carpet tile.
