20 Best Carriers For Toddlers (2022 Updated)

I planned to wear my baby way before he arrived and researched all types and brands of wraps and carriers extensively! I landed on Lillebaby because of all the features. Loved all the different ways to carry and the longevity of use.

Decided on the all seasons complete because of the zip down mesh back panel and sun/rain cover because I live in Florida and the weather is unpredictable. No one pulled this off my baby registry so after my son was born, I changed my mind and went with the Complete airflow because I read multiple reviews from users in FL and TX that advised the all over mesh was better than the original for hot weather.

It arrived and I was literally having to carry my son to pick this off the porch and open it immediately. My son currently hates to be anywhere but our arms and I can’t get anything done. One hour with this and I felt confident to take on lunch, laundry, even get dressed and sort some items around the house.

It’s not going to allow you to get everything done. No climbing ladders or constant bending over but just walking about with more than what I can grasp with one hand and make fewer trips between rooms.

I absolutely love the structure – everything is easy to adjust and fit to me. It does feel bulky now but my son is only 8 lbs now and I expect this will be strong enough once he’s larger. This was the only carrier I found that had safety straps in case the clips come undone – one of my favorite features and really the deciding factor once I was ready to choose a carrier.

Watched lots of videos before trying it on to ensure I was wearing it properly and knew how to keep my son safe and comfortable. The color is beautiful! Can’t imagine I’ll need another carrier besides this one but if I do (perhaps a backup for wash day) than I will stick with this brand for sure!.

I bought that this about a month ago for our newborn who is now 3 months. For a product that advertised airflow/ventilation in a carrier, it still gets very warm. It doesn’t keep you and baby as cool as I expected.

Also the buckle straps are difficult to use, the one around the waste is super tight, and I have to put a lot of extra effort into tugging it to tighten it. Also the side buckles and straps are not so convenient to tighten or buckle when you’re wearing it with baby in front, it’s always a bit of an awkward struggle to get situated.

Also we are not confident what we are supposed to do with his feet as a newborn, we didn’t find useful instruction about carrying him with his feet in the pocket. I do think as he gets a little bigger his legs will be able to be spread open more to match the carrier, but right now it’s pretty awkward.

This is all comparing to another carrier we bought for $35 on Amazon. However, we do like that the LILLEbaby carrier appears to be significantly more comfortable for baby than the other carrier we used.

For the price, I expected it to be a lot more easy to use.

Loved this carrier. The fabric comfortably hugged and supported my newborn baby. We used to headrest most of the time. The mesh was perfect for when we walked on hot days. He never got too hot, even when super snug against my body.

It was perfect for our daily hour walks, the carrier straps did not hurt my shoulders at all. The only thing I disliked was the way I had to put it on, I felt like without help it would be a little difficult to both, put on the carrier over my shoulders and hold my baby.

Over all great carrier and will continue to use it until he outgrows it. I also liked the little pocket which was big enough for me to put my key and phone in so I didn’t have to take anything extra on my walks.

I love to hike and was always dreaming of taking my young niece Lilly on a hike with me. As soon as I saw this product I had to try it! It works perfectly and exceeded all my expectations. First off, the material is incredibly comfortable for both the person carrying and the child.

It is lightweight, machine washable, well ventilated and even contains a drool pad for any droolers out there, like my Lilly, it’s a saving grace. She loved the ErgoRide seat and was singing (her way of showing how happy she is) and smiling for the entire hike.

Secondly, this sapling is build very wisely. The sunshade is easy to deploy and provides ample sun protection. I also appreciated that I could easily access the backpack compartment (which had tons of snacks in it) while wearing the pack and was also easily able to drink via the drink tube exit port.

These little details make this product ingenious. Thirdly and most importantly it’s comfortable for Mt back!! It took me a little time to find the perfect adjustment settings but when I did it felt very comfortable, which was surprising! Both the torso and hip straps adjust easily and quickly so you can effortlessly switch the sapling from parent to parent.

For any hikers with young children out there, this product is a MUST! You’ll love it, your back will l thank you and your child will have the best memories from fantastic hikes. Ask my niece Lilly, she keeps pointing to the Thule Sapling begging me to take her on another hiking adventure.

I had previously purchased a second hand pack which just did not fit me or my husband. So I bought several, took them all home and tried them on. And even took some to the shop to have them adjusted.

The leading competitors pack did not fit, and I have a good size torso. Even at the smallest setting, I also did not like how the kid leans forward and moved about. With this pack, they are sitting and the weight is better distributed.

My little guy loves it and I don’t feel like I am carrying 20 pnds. I even carried a friends kid who was even heavier, he fell asleep and I had no issues carrying, adjusting or removing the pack while he was asleep.

I also love I can access the back pouch while kid is in the carrier. And the simplicity of the buckels and straps. Some of the other competitiors it is very easy to get lost in all the adjustments, and with a kid you want it to be easy.

You can also lock the buckles for when they figure out how to unclip them. A nice small touch. But after trying on so many other packs, This by far exceeds my expectations, and glad we bought it. The few things that could be need improving: the back bar, my little guy hits his head on the back sometimes, seems like a major design flaw, so my mom is going to sew something small that will still allow his head to sit comfortably but gives just enough cushion.

Also the side hip pockets are by far better then any of the competitors, but still slightly small if you have a larger phone and the straps tightened up. So those could be increased a little, and would improve it that much more.

The sun shade provides great coverage, but they could improve the clips a little and add one so that the sun shade could be left on but sitting open. As I live on the west coat and the weather changes rapidly.

U also need it on for the rain cover. So being able to keep the rain cover on with the top open would improve it that much more. And a little mirror so you know when the little guy is asleep. But I am really glad we bought this, in terms of comfort, hands down the best for parent and little one.

This carrier is the only one our daughter enjoys being. We tried 5 different carrier types/brands and this one is her (and my) favorite by far! We love to take her out for walks and this allows her to be snug and secure.

I have also used this carrier to get chores done around the house including laundry, vacuuming, and cleaning in general. The biggest difference in this carrier is the construction with padding on the shoulder straps and the thick waist band which are both very comfortable and help distribute her weight so that my back and shoulders don’t get sore.

The waist band also has a large pocket for easy storage for your phone, keys, etc. while using the carrier. The carrier itself looks so cute on and is lightweight and durable. We also like that it is a neutral color without being plain.

It has the ability to be adjusted to fit nearly any size so my husband and I can both use it.

Um, all I can say is YES. Why didn’t I do this with my first child. I’m on my 5th, and he is borderline colic. This is new to me, so we pulled out all the stops because I have other kids and things to do, y’all! I tried 3 other wraps/carriers that weren’t comfortable or had other issues.

I read blog after blog and saw this one again and again, so I went for it! I absolutely love it. For starters, it’s amazingly comfy! Only 2 snaps and it’s on, which is nice. The excess straps can be rolled up and neatly tucked in with a stretchy piece of elastic, so you don’t have straps hanging everywhere – which this perfectionist (aka me) loves! It’s comfortable around my waist, too.

It’s made so that everything is cushy and doesn’t dig in after long periods of wear. Now for how much my baby loves it – he can be crying his head off, I put it on all by myself (#winning), and he is snug as a bug, happy (or sleeping) in 5 minutes or less.

Oh! AND it’s totally hands-free! I’ve literally climbed on top of my kitchen counter to get in a high cabinet (I’m short) wearing him without feeling like he’d fall out or I needed to hold onto him. That is HUGE with baby-wearing.

So many others promise hands-free, but I’ve never felt that way until Tula – it definitely is! I’m almost 5’3″. I currently weigh 170lbs with a 36DD postpartum. I’m normally 130-140lbs, and I know this wrap will fit me comfortably when I’m back down to pre-pregnancy weight, which is also another bonus.

My husband can wear it comfortably, too! So, there’s versatility there. If you’re on the fence, it’s totally worth it. I wish I would’ve given in and gotten it sooner than after 5 kids – would’ve made my life a lot easier.

I don’t even know why we have a stroller because I plan on wearing baby all the time! That’s how fabulous this wrap is!.

If you’re looking for something that is floppy from the moment it’s taken out of the package this is it! If you’re looking for something that’s breathable like a coast, the linen line is a fantastic for that as well! We haven’t had any super hot days since our purchase (weird with coming into August) but the days where we reached 80, little man was comfortable! (He’s usually a sweaty hot box no matter what).

We purchased the reef explore because Dad loves green and he wanted to be able to forward face our little guy who is almost 16 months old and around 25 pounds. (Fitting 18 month clothing). Dad has worn him forward facing for over an hour a couple times and neither have been uncomfortable.

(Hopefully my little’s size reference helps if you’re on the fence about whether or not you can still forward face!) Reef’s pictures on their website are also pretty spot on for the colors they depict in different lighting! All and all we are 100% happy with our purchase! If you’re on the fence, go for it! You won’t regret it!!.

We hike with a three year old and a 20 month old. We ALL love them!! They are very comfortable, with plenty of adjustments. The kids actually sit in a seated position perfectly. They rest their feet on the bottom bar (if the bar was about two inches forward it would be flawless ).

Very quiet as well. Bending or squatting down to reach something is not an issue for the child or adult ! Definitely five stars from us! Thank you!.

We previously owned the Ergo when our child was an infant but he eventually got big. We eventually decided to upgrade to the Clevr cross country Baby carrier which supports our kid as he is getting older.

Our son enjoys it more than the Ergo given his size. It was a lot better than we expected. Lot of pockets to carry diapers, snacks, bottles, etc. Durable material and build. We highly recommend to others.

First of all, – my cost to return this to California by US Post Office from KY was $27 (UPS was going to run $60). Why I did not like the carrier: (1) No foot rest for child – which means child cannot adjust themselves when in it.

(2) bulky carrier that is hard to load child, put on / take off by yourself. (3) I bought this for a 6’1″ male, 170# to carry an 8 month old. He did not like the time it took to strap the child in and the way it felt on — too much weight on his shoulders instead of his hips even after trying several different adjustments.

Sturdy. Easy to use. 1/3 of the price of most others. Comfortable to use. Lots of adjustable options and additional storage for long hikes. The only thing I’d change, if it’s even possible without compromising sturdiness/safety, is the back piece that sits against your back.

It’s a sweaty mess even with mild temperatures since it’s basically solid material. It’s been a miserable summer anyways, so we just deal with it and love being able to pack our rather large toddler around!.

I have only used a handful of times but so far seems to be a well made product. This was a much better option than the 3-400 backpacks and has just as many features. Adjustment straps are a bit cumbersome, but not terrible.

Shipping was fast as well.

I returned the ergo Omni carrier that was $180 because I liked this $25 one so much better!!! It’s super light unlike the super heavy Omni carrier… it also doesn’t give your skin marks or blisters like the Omni because the material is breathable and isnt overly bulky.

It also has a bib so if baby drools or spits up you can just wash the bib and not the entire carrier. My favorite part is getting the baby out, it has clips!!! This makes it so easy to take our newborns out of it we just unclick the sides and we can easily pull out our babies.

The Omni one we had to tug on our babies and pull them out so hard and the hated it and cried and cried because they got stuck. Mind Ypu they are only 8 pounds at the time which is the minimum weight for that carrier so imagine what double that weight or even triple it would look like?? Yeah no thanks! I bought two, one for each me and my husband to carry our newborn twins.

I can’t say enough good things about this carrier it’s sooooooooo good for the money!.

I am a mother of two: 24 month old and 3 week old. I was 8 months pregnant when I received this carrier in the mail. I tried it on and tried the backpack carrying position with my 22 month old at the time.

At first I found it to be uncomfortable but I figured because of being pregnant. My child didn’t find it to be comfortable either but fussed. But after being buckled in a stroller for a period of time she fusses too.

So I’m waiting to get the okay from my doctor to try the carrier again with her on my back now that I’m back to my pre-pregnancy size and I’m hoping my child will find the carrier to be more comfortable now.

I have used the carrier front facing with my three week old and my child fell asleep with ten minutes of the first use. So I would say that it must be comfortable for a newborn especially because my child the last three-four days has been pretty fussy and isn’t sleeping much throughout the mid afternoon-evening.

I find the carrier well fitting and comfortable now that I am not pregnant and back to my pre-pregnancy size. I like the features it has to offer as well. I would definitely recommend it to family/friends that ask my opinion.

I’ve been looking for a cheap way to be able to take both my little ones out without having to splash out on a new double pram (which I really can’t afford) My little girl is 2 and still naps when we’re out so walking is out of the question.

The double pram I do have is a ‘side by side’ model which can be a real pain to get on buses and navigate around some shops. This baby carrier was the next best thing! It’s lightweight. Fully adjustable, even the seat! Most importantly is, my little boy looks sooo comfortable in it and fully supported.

Really comfortable for mom too! The shoulder straps are nicely padded (the carrier I had with my daughter really dug into my shoulders) I’ve even wore it to do the housework when my little one won’t let me put him down haha!.

This carrier has been perfect for lugging our little one through both crowded streets and on scenic hiking trails. After months of carrying my little one in a Baby Bjorn, I was worried the parade may feel too cumbersome or heavy.

But I was wrong. It’s actually quite comfortable to wear. It’s padded all around on the belts and hip harnesses. And though it is obviously heavier than a soft sided, front wearing baby carrier, it is only slightly so.

It’s comfortable on my back and actually feels a lot better than having the weight in front. One of the best things about this carrier is that it keeps it all breathable and cool for both baby and me.

I used to take my carrier off and be covered in sweat. Not a good look. Or a good feeling. For anyone around, really. The parade lets the air flow through the mesh and my baby boy and I are nice and comfy.

It’s easy to get all strapped in. The carrier sits up on its own with a pop out stand so that you can put the child in safely on the ground. You then just have to lift it onto your back. It has oodles of storage in the way of lots of pockets and pouches.

It even has 2 bottle holders which we use every time. I can never have enough pockets so this feature is KEY. And it also comes with a cute little mini back pack, which was snatched up by my 6 year old pretty much the minute we unpacked the carrier.

It’s a great carrier. Looks cool. Easy to clean. Comfortable to wear. And let’s me take my little nugget out with ease whether in the city or country. We love the parade!.

This is the second Escape that we have owned. We bought the first one second hand about 5 years ago and it was already a well-loved item. We’ve used that one through 2 kids and when our 3rd came along, we decided to get another Escape, but this time new, as we loved the previous one so much.

The new model is just as good, though there are even more useful features. The clips to open the seating area are great; an upgrade from previous model. We really like the over-the-head padded harness – much easier than trying to clip in beside/behind the child’s legs.

Still just as light and is stable when free-standing. Love, love, love the Escape. Bub loves being with mummy but also having his own space. It’s a great view from the height at which they sit and he swivels his little head from side to side just watching the goings on.

I wear this backpack every day, sometimes for several hours at a time. Thanks Phil and Teds, another quality product.

We purchased the Escape for a hiking excursion on the Appalachian Trail. We won’t be going on that adventure until the summer, but in the meantime we have done some walks around Toronto to get used to the carrier.

Things I love: Its VERY secure. Once you find all the straps and figure out how to tighten them there is no concern about your little one wriggling out. The day pack is just big enough to hold some essentials – food, diapers, and a change of clothes – but not big enough that you will become a pack-mule for the trip.

The hydration pouch is a nice touch. Bladder not included, but it works great with the one I’ve already got. The mirror was a cute addition. Great colours The hood was perfect for shielding my son’s eyes Plenty of storage, the day pack is a nice touch.

Things I don’t love so much: The straps to tighten the child chest restraint are a little challenging to get to for adjusting. The storage pockets on the waist belt are too tight to really access. Maybe they’ll stretch over time?.

This carrier is so comfortable and pillow soft. My 30 pound baby never complains and almost instantly falls asleep. The issue that I have with the carrier is that the straps on one side give me a hard time tightening and sometimes do not tighten.

This is an expensive wrap overall and my cheaper wrap never did this. if this issue was fixed this wrap would be a favorite!.

If you’re looking for a carrier this is the one! It seriously has so many pockets and it is comfortable for you and your little one. I carry my daughter who is a little under 30 pounds. My daughter is almost two but still loves being close and it’s also great for trips to the store or hikes! I wear a 2x-3x and this carrier works for me! I was nervous that I would need an extender but it fits with room! I would recommend to anyone.

It’s an investment that is totally worth it!.

We got this carrier as our daughter had outgrown the other we own. I wish we had got this one first as the weight restrictions mean it would have lasted so much longer and she looks much more comfortable too.

I found the shoulder straps and buckles were much thicker and sturdier, this meant that I felt she was more secure and it was actually more comfortable for me too. Both my husband and myself have used the carrier and it is easily adjustable to suit us both.

We really like the way the material was breathable as even on an August walk neither baby nor parent was too hot.

Gave this as a gift to expectant parents and they were thrilled. Tried it with their fussy pup and even she made for a seamless experience using it and she’s a very nervous dog. The usefulness of this product was reiterated to me heavily and I’m sure we’ll be shopping for the new baby on this site for other must haves after the next few months.

I bought this last month in February for my sister-in-laws baby shower. After reading all the positive reviews and great choice as a baby gift I decided on purchasing it. It’s a great carrier for any mom to be- it’s well padded for the babies comfort and it even has an adorable removable pillow headset for the baby.

My sister-in-law loved how the inside and back strap were mesh material as it turns out it’ll be more absorbent for those sweaty days in summer.

I haven’t had it for very long, but I already love this thing! I have a bad back, weak shoulders and a very clingy baby. My daughter is currently 9 months old and doesn’t like me to put her down almost at all.

I’ve been wearing my tushbaby around the house almost constantly and my back and arms are thanking me – I can go much longer without having to sit down because I’m in pain. I love that I can keep my baby where she’s happiest while I get meals together (nothing hot or sharp, of course), put dishes away, feed the animals and take her out back for some sunshine.

The best part is I can keep it on for diaper changes, to eat and when I have to set her down briefly and then just pop her back onto the seat. I love it, and my baby never gets to that stage where I can tell she’s uncomfortable and wants out of her carrier.

Other carriers leave red marks on her thighs, but obviously this doesn’t squeeze her at all. People always suggest baby wearing and this is the best option I’ve found. We’re both much happier and I believe it’ll continue to work when she learns to walk and gets into the “up-up-up, down-down-down” stage all toddlers have.

The quality seems good as well – I feel very secure putting my baby on the seat and the strap doesn’t feel like it’s gonna open unexpectedly which is important. And I think it would work for many different body shapes.

I was a little hesitant to get it because I have a very large bust so I worried about getting my baby seated safely. Not a problem – there’s plenty of room. I can even have the seat on my front with her facing outward! I honestly didn’t think that would be an option for me but I was pleasantly surprised.

I’m very glad I decided to get this. It’s gonna get a lot of use, I can tell.

I am a 68 yr. old grandmother with back and neck problems that cares for her 4 month old grandson. Under normal circumstances this would be a challenge, but he is very large for his age. Before getting Tushbaby, I realized that I was not holding him much, and was struggling some days when I had to carry him a short distance.

I decided to try the Tushbaby and I knew things would only get worse as he grew unless I found a solution. I have waited to do a review to make sure my back is holding up better, and I can say it is.

I carry him much more now just for the fun of it. I am impressed with the quality of the Tushbaby and the numerous safety features to make sure it remains secure on the body. It is a bit bulky and I have found all the pockets, etc.

are not necessary, but I am sure there are many that would appreciate that more than I. My back seems to be doing pretty good with it, although I am carrying him more often now and longer when I wear it, but for most things during the day I don’t use it as it is bulky to leave on all day so I use it when I want to dance with him, or just spend make 15 mins with him just walking around the house.

Once it cools off outside in the fall, I am sure I will like taking him outside with it. Overall, I like it a lot other than the bulkiness of it and it takes a while to get it on with all the safety features.

Ok, so I was really hoping this would work as my 16 month old is going through a clingy phase! The TushBaby looks solid – made from quality materials and pretty sturdy. It’s also not as chunky as I thought it would be.

The downside, and this is a big one, is that it hurts my waist, both at my back and above my hip. I’ve placed it high and tight as recommended but it didn’t stop it from riding down onto the top of my hip and feeling all the pressure there (as well as my back).

Any tighter would have constricted my breathing. Also, I live in Canada and shipping was a headache. I ordered this item and obviously the Canadian price is more expensive, and the duties and taxes all brought it up to $140ish.

At that price, when all is said and done, it is quite on the steep end. I’m not sure if I would recommend this product. I want to return it but knowing I have to pay shipping, as well as obviously won’t be refunded the duties/taxes, I may have to end up keeping it.

That’s also something that should be worked out on the company’s end. I’ve ordered many many items from the US but somehow the company has figured out a good system where I’m not charged duties/taxes and the item is easy to return with no shipping fees covered by me.

So if you’re ordering from Canada, you may need to keep the product just because of how much money you’ll end up paying/losing just to return it.

It’s a nice carrier. Truly it is. The simple fabric approach to it reminds me of the old school meh tais I used to be carried in by my mother. It’s so lightweight and the fabric is lovely. However, the buckles for adjusting the strap lengths once baby is in the carrier are just so stubborn to work with.

I keep pulling and tugging the straps to tighten, and it just won’t budge. I need to have the carrier off of me, have it tightened as much as possible, then put it on, put my baby in, and then attempt the final bit of adjusting and tightening.

I’ve now gone a week with this and my baby just winds up screaming for longer as I’m battling with the straps to try to tighten. I don’t understand why it is so difficult because my Ergobaby 360 allows me to make these adjustments super quickly.

This is frustrating because otherwise, the carrier is comfortable, perhaps even more so than my Ergobaby. BUT the waist strap for the adult really really needs some reworking because the fit is so awkward that it took a while to figure out where it should sit on me, which is quite a bit lower on my waist than I’m accustomed to.

Also, the lumbar support really needs to be included in the carrier at such a price (which is HIGH). There is a BIG difference in the comfort level for the wearer with versus without the lumbar support.

I feel lucky to have caught this during a sale (also so I could buy the lumbar support) so the price was about the same as the Ergobaby I have, but if not, I honestly am on the fence.

The Free to Grow carrier is very comfortable for my son. It’s the second Tula I’ve owned, but my last one was bought almost eight years ago and that one required a rolled blanket inside to lift up my newborns.

This one is easy to put on, typically soothes my little guy to sleep, and frees up my hands to take care of my other four kids. My only dislike is the arm straps— I’m not sure if it’s because I’m on the petite side (5’3”), but they rub uncomfortably and slightly pinch the backs of my arms.

If I wear a long sleeve shirt it’s not as bad, but I live in a hot climate and typically have on tank tops. I like that not only is the front panel mesh, but so is the hood. It definitely helps with overheating.

The carrier is really easy to get on, even with a brand new baby, and I can totally adjust everything without help from another person. Shipping is really quick. In the world of Amazon prime, you can’t help but appreciate a relatively fast arrival time.

The carrier did have a very odd, unpleasant smell when it first came that necessitated a run through the wash. For all of the carriers I’ve tried, this is probably my favorite, the arm pinching seems to happen across the board.

I wish someone could solve this!.

The carrier is made to grow with your baby. You can use this with your newborn all the way to toddlerhood. I like the material of the carrier. Specially living in Florida , it is necessary to have a breathable and soft material as baby can become sweaty and hot.

The quality of the material is also good and durable. I like that you can position your baby in different positions. It was a bit difficult for me to set it up the first time I uses it. It takes a bit of trial and error.

My newborn seemed too small for it as the top of the carrier was in a bad spot and my baby was not comfortable. Maybe I didn’t correctly set it up. My favorite feature is that you can utilize different positions depending on your child’s age.

My first impressions of the carrier were positive. It is stylish and also comes well presented, with some clear information about the three positions outside the box. I’m using the carrier with my 1-year-old boy, mainly, when we go out hiking or walking in places where the stroller is not the best option (for example, on the beach).

For a walk, back carry is the best option because he keeps distracted, also it’s comfortable for me as he gains more weight. When he is tired, we usually change him to the front carry position, to give him better support.

Hip carry is useful for short periods when he wants to be with me and I need to do something else with my arms (housework for example). In this case, as the baby’s weight is on one side, I end up a bit tired when I carry him for more than 15 minutes.

Sometimes, I missed the front position where the baby can face out, but as it’s not the best position for them I don’t think that it’s a must. For the first few times using each position, I had to use the instructions to set up the carrier, they are very clear.

The waistbelt is easy to adjust. The child can be seated easily in a natural position, comfortable and safe for their hips. The tricky step for me is to fit the straps. It’s difficult to set them considering that one hand needs to be holding the baby, and as they are very long, usually they end up touching the floor while adjusting the carrier (the good news is that the carrier is machine washable).

Also, in the beginning, I wasn’t sure how tight should I pull the straps to set it to a comfortable and safe position. Beyond this, this carrier is a very good option if you want to carry your baby with a wrap but knowing that he is safe enough.

It combines perfect support with the waistbelt at the same time that the baby is comfortably wrapped. Before trying this carrier, I couldn’t get this with a wrap. I would definitely try it on with my second baby as a newborn.

I was super excited to receive this, but it caused stress and frustration. The directions are very unclear as they are just pictures. It would have been helpful to have wording and descriptive steps in the directions.

I looked to YouTube for help but even those didn’t include someone speaking English to explain how to create each position. Due to the very long length of the straps, when taking my baby out, the straps would drag on the ground.

It is a great idea to have it adjustable for baby’s width and height. I love that it includes options for a headrest, sun shade, or infant seat! I also think it’s fabulous to have the ability to wrap up the extra material from the waist belt.

If I could have someone show me how to properly adjust and use this, I would recommend this product. Beware of this product if you are not a visual learner.

I’ve tried a few baby carriers, the wraps, the ergo carriers, and so far I like this one the best. This carrier I find quite unique, it is basically a mixture between a wrap and regular carrier. The carrier is very comfortable and very nice material, it’s also very light weight.

My favorite feature is that it is sooo easy to adjust. Especially the waist. My husband loves that he can use it and adjust so easily to his size as well. We had other carriers, and they were much more irritating to adjust.

This one is by far the easiest and most convenient. My daughter is 15 mos and 19 lb, and she still likes to be carried. She loved to be carried on the hip and back, she adjusted to it quite nicely. It’s very supportive and secure.

I definitely recommend this carrier! I’m going to be using it until my daughter reaches its weight limit. It’s awesome!.

I wanted to love this more than I do. The idea is great; I love the theory of a fabric wrap but also wanted something that is easy to get on/off and didn’t require hours of YouTube video viewing to figure out how to use.

Unfortunately I was still stuck turning to YouTube to try and make sure I was using this thing correctly, and I never felt totally secure with it. The “tails” are difficult to tighten once you have the wrap on, and you really need to be able to tighten to keep baby secure.

I also never got the hang of how to put my smaller newborn into the wrap despite the included instructions and watching videos online. Baby did not feel secure to me and I was worried I had done something wrong.

Also, her head either flopped around or was stuck in one spot; no middle ground. This thing also gets incredibly hot! I was wearing in December cold and was burning up. A few pros: it was easy to wash, and maybe would work better for an older child with better head control.

I have since purchased a more structured carrier and that works loads better for me and baby.

I added this Moby to my registry after reading positive reviews and was happy to receive it. Now that my baby is here, though, I am pretty dissatisfied with this wrap. The rings cut into my sides and quite frankly I’m not sure this wrap is made for plus-size individuals like myself.

It doesn’t seem to fit me right and is very uncomfortable. Therefore I only wear baby in it for short periods of time. I can’t wait for him to gain a few more pounds so I can use the more traditional carrier I have.

Wanted to love this but I just don’t.

We bought this carrier when our lil babe was about 6 months old and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We looked at all of the competitors and fell in love with the juno because of its aesthetics as well as its practicality.

It worked well for both my husband and I, and was easy to transition back and forth quickly. I loved the hands-through feature for snuggling up, the stashable hood feature was great for napping or as a sun shade and it was handy to have little pockets to stash my debit card or phone.

We used it around town, on beach walks and mountain hikes. I am a florist and it was perfect for making hands free deliveries – people loved my little tag along! Our lil pal has always been on the larger end of the size spectrum but the juno held him comfortably through many stages.

Now he’s 2, just over 30lbs and our time with the juno is coming to a close BUT I can still sneak him in the carrier if he falls asleep in the car and I need to keep moving! I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone considering a more structured carrier option and will definitely use the juno for any future babes!.

I was given the opportunity to try the Mountain Buggy Juno and I must say that this is a great product that trumps a lot of other carriers on the market. I tried on several others in the store but this particular carrier was not only comfy for me, it was also comfy for my baby.

I have had her in the Juno with the adjustable infant insert (included in the price which is a bonus) and without. Both seemed to fit her very well. The magnetic clip is awesome. Putting her in without having to fuss much with the clip in the back is so good, especially since I still have “mommy thumb” and can’t move my wrist as much.

As for the material. I love it! I was worried about it being too hot for her but it wasn’t. In fact, we used this on our travels to Arizona and Utah, as well as walking around humid DC, and it wasn’t bad at all.

The material is super soft and the pockets are great. There is a deep pocket in the front (I don’t know how to quite use that yet) and two side pockets. I can fit my iPhone 6, cash, and some keys and go for a nice walk with my hands free or tucked into this little pocket area in the front that allows me to cradle her.

I bet that keeps your hands warm for fall walks Overall this carrier is definitely a gem and I highly recommend it. I am definitely a mountain buggy fan after using the Juno.

We tried the Juno at a baby show along with a number of other baby carriers, it was much easier to put on than others, a lot more comfortable and was a carrier that both my husband and I would be happy to wear.

The newborn insert is great as it supports their head and you know they are safe but it can be a bit of a faff to put on while on the move. Love the pockets either side which are really big and easily fit phone keys and a few other bits in.

It’s very easy to adjust which is great as my husband and I are different sizes. Also the little cover is amazing when it’s sunny or windy. It’s not the cheapest of carriers but I think it’s well worth the investment and you only need to see it up close and feel it to know it is a luxury product with super soft fabric, sturdy clips and a really sleek design.

People are always asking me about it too. For us it has been an essential item, our baby falls asleep in it without fail so great if she’s overtired or just being particularly fussy. I really don’t have anything bad to say about it, definitely a must-have!.

Most carriers do not adjust large enough to fit me, but this carrier not only fit, it was comfortable to wear as well.

My son is eight weeks old and we have been using the carrier since he was six weeks old. The first time I used the carrier I had to figure out how to get the baby situated and comfortable but since then it has been easy to take the carrier on and off and safely put the baby in and take him out of it.

His legs do get rubbed a bit on the inner knee/upper calf area from where they sit on the waist band but it does not seem to bother him, he just has red marks for a bit when we take him out of the carrier.

The carrier is made of a great linen fabric. The fabric seems to be very breathable and durable against stains and wear. The overall carrier is very well made with great cushioning in the waist band and shoulder straps.

One of the best features about the carrier is the elastic strap holders that hold the strap tails when the straps are not fully extended. My wife truly appreciates these strap tail holders as she is small and the strap tails usually dangle and get caught on everything but the elastic bands hold the tails up great preventing any dangling or snags.

The carrier also features a Velcro closure pocket on front that easily fits my phone and small wallet which is very convenient. I have used this carrier while out shopping with our family and my wife has used it at home and out shopping.

Overall, this carrier has quickly become a necessity when we leave the house and look forward to using it for years to come.

I love my new Tula Line. Free-To-Grow carrier! To me, the first thing that stood out was the fabric. The linen is not only breathable, but it’s stylish and beautiful. I worried it might be hard or rough against baby’s skin, but it’s not and he seems comfortable in there (in fact, he falls asleep quickly once nestled in)! I live in Florida, so the lightweight/breathable aspect is important to me.

My first daughter had very sensitive skin, so I like that this is hypoallergenic too. As far as ease of use, I think it’s fair to say that any baby carrier takes a little getting used to. This is my third baby and I’ve tried numerous carriers before- I found the Tula on par with others, or even a bit easier, in terms of how easy it was to get set up and familiar with the adjustments.

Once you read the guide and tinker with the carrier, you’ll find easy and a pleasure to carry baby inside. Other Highlights: I like that this fits both my husband and I (he is definitely taller and broader!), and the sand color is beautiful and suits both men and women.

I’m an avid babywearer, wearing my son since the day he was born, and I’ve used loads of different styles of carrier including SSCs, but I’ve never used a tula until now. I didn’t expect anything different to any other SSC I’ve used, but the padding thickness and length, the shape of the straps and back panel, and the buckle position all made for a much more comfortable SSC than I’ve ever tried before.

I tend to favour onbuhimos, ring sings, or woven wraps, because I find waist belts uncomfortable, but my son is a tall 3 year old now and too big for most toddler onbuhimos, so I took the plunge. I’ve used carriers from connecta, beco, boba, and many other big name carrier brands, but I’ve found them all quite uncomfortable in the waist, and after a while, the shoulders too, so I’d keep on going back to wraps! But this is comfy all day, and doesn’t make me ache or make me sore on any weight baring points! I wish I’d bought a tula earlier on! My only gripe is I do prefer the fabric of a wrap conversion, but I opted for an off the peg carrier instead for price and speed of delivery, and the fabric is still soft and comfortable and my son doesn’t get too hot in it.

I’d definitely consider a tula wrap conversion in the future!.
