20 Best Cartridge Filling Machine (2022 Updated)

We had a member donate a bottle filler for our YMCA. It was a great buy, so I purchased a couple more for different areas. They are used all the time and they are great!!!!! Our drinking fountains are still off limits since COVID started and this is great for those that forget their water.

We have cups for those that forget!.

I just installed this unit as now days we must have a no touch system. I belive that alot of these unit are being installed to replace older bubble units. Most are installed on concrete walls with no room for a trap.

There needs to be room for a trap or one built in the unit.

The existing Elkay bottle filler lasted about 3 yrs. , had to replace a sensor in that period once and now it is non functioning again. It is a very popular item in the school building. We would like to have more in the buildings but they are far too expensive.

$800 for just a replacement bottle filler not including the cooler itself.

Our contractor installed this in our building and said the instructions are not very thorough. Working great so far, though.

For too long, the upper level of our home has gone without a water dispenser or sink. This wasn’t much of an issue until we started using it as an expanded living space for one of the young adults in the family.

There was a steady stream of 36 pack bottled water that went up and down those stairs, making me cringe every time. No one wants to waste that much plastic. When given an opportunity to reduce the household’s ecological footprint, I jumped at the chance and have loved the results seen so far.

Installation wasn’t complicated, however I do come from a background of general contracting and plumbing and that experience was essential for the project’s success. The station fits nicely between two studs and the fact that there is no floor footprint is an added benefit.

We opted not to install the drain at the time of installation, but will do so in the future. The chiller has been so beneficial to our experience with the appliance. It makes a tremendous difference on the upper floor of a building where the ambient temperature is higher on average.

By far the favorite feature, even if a tad gimmicky, is the bottles saved counter! You get to see your impact in real time, which is rewarding. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to add water access to their homes, businesses or organization, but wants to save the footprints that a full sink, and/or cases of water bottles in my instance, would take up.

I am thrilled with this water dispenser. I am very concerned about recycling and plastics landing in the landfill. With this technologically savvy water dispenser I can enjoy the fresh taste of filtered water and not have to worry about plastics or waste.

This was very easy to install and provided me with concise clear directions that were easy to follow. There is a no-touch sensor activation with automatic 20-second shut-off so you don’t have to worry about waste or spills, also the drain system is equipped to handle any overflow that may occur.

The Green Ticker informs me of the number of 20 oz. plastic water bottles saved from waste, which makes me feel good about using this. There is a visual filter monitor with LED filter status indicator for when filter change is needed.

The 3000 gallon filters are made with activated carbon which makes the water taste very crisp and fresh. This fits between 2 wall studs and requires electricity and plumbing for use, there is a mounting frame so it doesn’t stick out but rather is fully recessed in-wall.

The design is sleek and sophisticated and I am thrilled with how easy it is to operate and maintain. I highly recommend this water dispenser!.

I have never had a built in water Dispenser until now and I love it! The installing process of this product was fairly easy and took about and hour and half and 3 experienced people to install. We are now drinking water five times more than we were before we installed this water dispenser and the water is very fresh tasting! It’s great being able to walk up and place my water bottle under the spout and it automatically turns on the water.

My kids are always in a hurry and have found getting fresh cold water is faster than getting any drink and our now enjoying more water and keeping them hydrated! I thought this might draw weird attention to the wall in my kitchen but it doesnt and it actual looks very nice built into the wall.

We have been using this water dispenser at least 5 times a day over the last three weeks and have not a single gle problem or issue come up. Once installed this is very simple to use.

The Epson Workforce WF-2960 is a Wireless All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer with Built-in Scanner, Copier, Fax and Auto Document Feeder. Included in the box is the WF-2960, power cord and 4 Epson 222 regular capacity printer ink cartridges Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and one Black ink cartridge.

The WF-2960 Wireless All-in-One is only compatible with Epson Original 222 regular or XL Cartridges as per the manual and at this time due to the newness of the WF-2960, 222 cartridge availability is limited but this should get better as time goes by.

This line of ink is from Epsons Claria Ink series that as per Epson is supposed to deliver vibrant color and sharp text for long-lasting, high-quality results. After unpacking and removing all the tape etc from the body of the printer I plugged the WF-2960 in and downloaded the companion Epson Smart Panel App that is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play.

I was able to follow the step by step instructions on my phone to set up the WF-2960 and added the ink and paper. Epson reccommends calibrating the print heads first so that’s what I did, following all the prompts.

Once it was all calibrated it was time to print. I do most of my printing wirelessly from iOS devices and or Apple Macs. The Epson Workforce WF-2960 worked flawlessly and showed up on all my “Printers” choices when using apps on my phone, Mac and iPads.

Print speed was quick enough for me and it also has double side printing capacity to cut down on paper use if needed. Print quality is great and if using good quality photo paper the WF-2960 even does a great job at printing photos.

The Epson Workforce WF-2960 facilitates making copies with ease and if you fax (not many people still do) it has Fax capability as well. Overall if you need a great all around office tool the Epson Workforce WF-2960 fits the bill and more.

Unboxing the Epson Workforce WF-2930 printer, you’ll find the printer itself, a full complement of Epson ink cartridges, a power cable, and documentation. There is no phone/fax or USB cable included.

The printer has a very small footprint at only 12” x 15”. Setting up the printer itself is an easy process. With the printer unpacked and the Epson Smart Panel app installed to your mobile device, simply follow the chat-like prompts.

The app will clearly and concisely walk you through installing the ink cartridges, setting up your network configuration, and aligning the print head. At this point, you can start printing with little additional work.

Android 12 & 13 devices in my home on the same wifi automatically found and suggested the printer without any downloads or setup. And Windows 10 computers added the printer easily by downloading and installing software from Epson’s website.

Print quality for both documents and photos has been very impressive with sharp edges, solid colors, and dark blacks. Output is fast both from mobile and desktop and operation is quiet. And 2-sided printing worked quickly and reliably.

Scanning operations were quick and easy when initiated by either the computer or scanner. Results were impressive with quick operation, sharp images and good color representation. The document feeder, which only works with 1-sided pages, performed reliably with straight images and no jams.

Couple of final thoughts: I do not have a landline and was therefore unable to test faxing. Also, this model printer bucks the current trend towards ink tank style printers with large ink capacity. While this is neither pro nor con, it does mean needing to buy ink cartridges more often.

That said, cartridges are already available and are only $7 a for a standard capacity cartridge, which is super reasonable. Overall, the Epson Workforce WF-2930 is an excellent little printer.

It’s a very nice coffee machine, in that it can make both a single cup of coffee, both from a k-cup and from your own ground coffee, and full carafe of 1. 5-1. 6 liters of coffee (that’s around 55 oz in the archaic measurement system).

It takes some time to figure out how to use it, but that’s because it can do all these things: how to slide cover forward and backward to either install a k-cup adapter or to use the basket for ground coffee without the adapter; to use the k-cup adapter you need to slide another part of the adapter cover forward to open it.

The machine itself has stickers that explain how to slide the covers to do what you want, so this is simple and after you used it couple of times, seems quite logical. Also, the user interface is also quite logical, and the machine detects how it it configured (if the k-cup adapter is installed or not) and lights up only controls that are relevant for the current configuration – this is quite intuitive.

The resulting coffee tastes good – I compared brewing the same amount of the same coffee the coffee in my hairo v-60 pourover and in this machine, it tastes similar, although the Ninja machine uses twice less time to brew, (around 2 min vs 4-5 min, in pourover), which can explain the slightly weaker coffee form Ninja machine – you probably could use more coffee grounds to make it stronger.

At least, the machine does the initial ‘bloom’ of the coffee. As you listen for it to work, there is a distinct phase at the beginning of it gurgling and dispersing initial small amount of hot water to the coffee, then it stops and waits for some time, comparable to what I do to bloom coffee grounds in the pourover, so this is good.

The machine also has a milk froster on the side that I have not yet tried to use, but I’m sure I will get to it sometime soon. I took away one star for: a) it indicates all measurements in ozes (ounces) – I needed to do a lot of mental arithmetic to convert all this into grams.

b) some problems with k-cups: so far, during the time I had it, I used already around 10 k-cups in it. With one type of k-cup it just fails to pierce the top: the three thick needles it uses to pierce the top of the k-cup are just too short, and I think the material of the foil on the top of these k-cup is kind of stretchy, so the needles just stretch it not enough to break.

I solved this by slashing the k-cup top with a knife, so that the hot water can get into the k-cup. Second problem with the k-cups was, with one of the k-cups, some (small) amount of the grounds of coffee got into a cup.

This probably also could be attributed to the shortness of the needles that pierce the top of k-cup: this time the needles made the holes, but not deep and tight enough, so that the hot water carried some grounds up over the top of the k-cup and then these grounds went down into the coffee.

But so far this happened on 1 of the 10 k-cups I used, and the amount of ground in the coffee was very small, so this is not a deal breaker. I remember this happened from time to time with our old original Keurig machine that we had several years ago, we could live with this.

So, my general verdict is, this Ninja coffee maker is very nice – definitely the best that I owned so far. It’s not cheap, but I think for me it will worth it over time, if it proves to be durable.

I have purchased many pod coffee makers, regular coffee makers, very expensive specialty coffee makers, and 2 Keurig K Duo Plus 12-Cup Single Serve and Carafe Coffee Maker. I really loved my Keurig, used it a lot with my large family.

They averaged about 2 years use before their end of “coffee life”. When I saw this Ninja Dual Brew Pro maker I decided to give it a try. WOW, I love it! It is very easy to use and I love the Frother.

It froths quickly, in seconds, and when done you just twists it off, rinse, quick dry and put it back for the next time as your coffee finishes brewing. I have not tried brewing a pot of coffee yet, but based on the pod experience I am sure it will be just as good.

They only small complaint might be because of the three holes it punches into the pods for a better brew, I get a very minimal amount of coffee grinds in the bottom of my cup. Very slight, so it doesn’t bother me.

This also happened time from time with my Keurig maker. So overall, I love this Ninja Coffee maker and have highly recommended it to my family and friends, who also loved their coffee that I made with frothing flavored creamers and half & half (both reg & lite)! Best of all, I got all this for a better price then to replace my Keurig that I loved before this Ninja came along.

I also would have liked to be able to buy a service contract, but QVC said they didn’t offer one on this product. Hopefully it will last at least as long or longer then my Keurig’s did, average 2yrs.

but I use my coffee maker probably a lot more then the average home.

We are a family who drinks LOTS of coffee. Hot coffee. Our old, 14 cup brewer quit working. We decided to try this Ninja, with neat little attachments. The frother works great, but is messy if you’re planning on using it for more than one cup.

We place an empty juice glass under it to catch drips in between uses. We only use it on weekends, so it’s not an everyday thing. I think a separate, hand held frother is more practical, but if you like the idea of storing your frother ON your coffee maker, then you will appreciate this feature.

I like the removable water reservoir, it makes filling easier. The carafe lid frustrates me – sometimes it attaches quite easily, other times, it takes multiple twists to get it on, just the right way.

There are no indicators, or obvious markings to show exactly how to get it to attach in the right direction on the first try. The delay brew setting could be better. After your initial set up of: brew style, time to brew and how many ounces to brew; you have to press the “delay” button a minimum of FOUR times to set it.

So, every night, you will be pressing “delay” FOUR times. And, don’t rush through this – if you accidentally press it five times, you have to go through it again: delay/hour, minute, ounces, delay. You would think, with all the bells and whistles on this thing, you could set up the delay to work with the press of ONE button.

The k-cup adapter is nice. It’s an included accessory/attachment you will need to wash and store separately. I like the ability to set the full carafe aside (onto an oven mitt or other heat resistant surface) to brew a k-cup (you will need to insert the k-cup attachment) or “to-go” cup of any flavor and size (8, 10, 12, 15 or 18 ounces), then replace the carafe on the warming plate, back to warm.

I haven’t used the specialty coffee setting – I think it brews a 4 oz size – or the iced coffee setting. I haven’t had an issue with water leaking as some other reviewers have mentioned. I’ve only used the hot/boil water feature to warm up empty thermoses and warm up a sinkful of clean, cold dish washing soapwater.

I hand wash all the parts. I’ll mention, again, my dislike for the carafe lid; it has a tube or straw-like piece attached to the underside of it, to direct the brewed coffee down into the carafe?? – it’s weird, and a pain to wash.

You need a long, slender brush, like a reusable straw brush, to wash it. I think this coffee maker is probably better suited for people who use k-cups or don’t drink as much hot coffee as we do. Ideally, for us, a 14 cup carafe with a NORMAL lid would have been much better.

But, it brews quickly enough to make more coffee. I think it’s overpriced at $200. I wouldn’t say I LOVE this coffee maker. It does work well, but I think it’s just OK.

After doing a LOT of research on cartridge-free printers, I’m glad I found this printer. Despite the many models of Epson EcoTanks, few seemed to have all the features I wanted, as the HP 7301 does, particularly auto-duplex printing and wireless connectivity.

And those that did have those features were unavailable! Though the HP 7301 doesn’t have a phone connection for faxing (a now somewhat antiquated technology but still needed occasionally), it’s easy to send (but not receive!) faxes by scanning the content and then using HP’s software to send that content to a particular fax number.

Works fine! As with all the cartridge-less printers, the 7301 is pretty pricey, but you save an enormous amount by not spending $30 for a paltry amount of ink in each cartridge: the same amount of money buys a huge amount of ink for this printer! And the quality of the prints is terrific: crisp and color-correct, something that reviews of Epson and Canon copiers sometimes criticized.

My major problem with this printer is the clunkiness of the software and getting the printer set up. I had trouble getting back into setup mode when it was interrupted. Follow the instructions carefully, because the process is inordinately complex! The biggest setup hassle by far was the failure of the tricolor printhead.

The black printhead installed without problem, but numerous tries to install the tricolor printhead failed. After running the gauntlet to actually talk to a person at HP Support (an involved and time-consuming annoyance), I was told by the agent to simply return the printer to the seller (Staples).

Besides being a hassle, it seemed to me a complete waste to return a brand new printer because a single part malfunctioned, and I told the agent so. Only when I insisted did she get permission from her supervisor to mail me a replacement tricolor printhead, which fixed the problem, and surely saved HP and Staples money! So after using this printer for several months, I can recommend it highly, once you succeed in setting it up.

The HP Smart Tank 7301 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer provides a solid printing and scanning experience. Setup is quick; simply remove the tape and internal cardboard, plug it into the wall and power it up.

I downloaded the HP Smart app on my Android phone, and it walked me through setting up the WiFi, filling the ink tanks, installing the printheads, loading paper, and aligning the printheads. The Smart Tank printers do require the ink tanks to be filled before the printheads are installed.

This is a different startup process than non-tank printers so I highly recommend the HP Smart setup process for detailed animations that explain what you need to do. Once you see how it is done, it is very easy to fill the tank due to the spill-proof refill design.

The HP Smart Tank 7301 can work on either 2. 4GHz or 5GHz WiFi frequencies which I appreciate because I can have it on the frequency with the least devices. If the printer has issues with connectivity, it has the capability to automatically connect to another frequency to keep print jobs rolling.

It can also connect via Bluetooth, USB 2. 0, and Ethernet cord. The printer does come with HP32XL black ink, HP31 Cyan ink, HP31 Magenta ink, and HP31 Yellow ink which is enough ink to get 8000 color pages or 6000 black pages.

The printer has 8 buttons facing up and a 2-line LCD display that face up near the front of the unit. I appreciated that the buttons will contextually light up depending on the job the printer is doing so that you can quickly see which buttons may be useful for that particular job.

It does have ID printing which is a nice feature that will scan both sides of an ID and print them both on one side of a piece of paper. There is an auto feeder that works for both printing and scanning which holds about 35 sheets.

Paper capacity is 250 sheets which is a nice amount for handling several large print jobs before needing to be refilled. The print speed was impressively fast, with color jobs running at 9 pages per minute and black/white jobs running at 15 pages per minute.

With a recommended monthly printed page volume of 400 to 800 pages (same for scans), this printer easily handles the modest of work that I have for it. I think this would be a nice printer for the entire family to use or even the small home office.

I appreciate that HP has committed to more environmentally friendly hardware, with 25% of the plastic on this printer coming from other recycled electronics. Overall, the HP Smart Tank 7301 is a very nice entry into the field of family or small office color printing.

It is easy and intuitive to use, quick to setup, and performs flawlessly. I do recommend utilizing the HP Smart app for easy printing, scanning, and diagnostics.

Purchased HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format after 14 months with support trying to get M577, M479 printer to scale properly, fit to one page wide and interpret true type fonts of Peachtree (Sage) Accounting software pervasive database with retrieve.

HP sales and tech support said I would need to go to an inkjet product to gain the scale functions and print compatibility of prior HP OfficeJet Premium 6700 as PCL6 was not going to do the job. Received this printer to find, guess what.

the incompatible PCL6 printer drivers. Microsoft and others in the industry have confirmed the PCL6 is not backward compatible as HP STATES ON THEIR PRINTER PCL6 MARKETING. I have forwarded the information to HP.

HP has been well aware of issues of compatibility of PCL6 backward compatibility. In addition, this printer as an inkjet is built on a “completely different technology” than laser printers. However, I find the same PCL6 drivers software.

There is no scaling to less than 100% in the software driver as I was told. There is no check box to fit to one page wide as I was told. Simply put the HP OfficeJet Premium 6700 had far more functionality and compatibility than this EXPENSIVE printer.

No word from HP engineering on providing truly compatible drivers. While I believe the hardware may be okay, it is useless without intelligent print drivers with proper ESC codes to interpret for example Times New Roman.

TTF as WYSIWUG instead of printing to the default courier 10 font. The documentation for HP printers purchased in the last 15 months also indicate a lack of good technical documentation to configure these printers.

As a result I have spent more time getting to know tech support in the last months than the last 35 years. Oh— and lets not forget the legacy print drivers this system was designed for like Windows XP and MacOS El Capitan are prohibited from being detected by the HP web site.

Manually selecting them will get you only a generic driver because HP does not support them. and I can only say. how many times have I called tech support over driver issues in the last 35 years for these drivers.

ZERO. In order to recommend this printer, HP must provide proper drivers for all operating systems and must provide older print drivers which likely worked but don’t know as they are not available to test.

I originally bought a cheaper brand wide format printer, but am returning it because it was a pice of junk to operate and a nightmare to set up. This is to replace another wide-format printer from HP that has seen its better days and got to say it was pretty easy to set up, which was a plus.

The few pages I have printed so far, including 1 poster 11 x 17, appear to be great quality. Took some figuring out how to load the 11 x 17 paper, but then again whats the internet for? Not particularly thrilled with the paper loading for 11 x 17 but if thats the worse of it, then so be it.

Touchscreen is too small but you can manage. This sucker weighs a ton, so be prepared when lifting. Find a spot and leave it there, otherwise too heavy to keep moving around. All the manufacturers are getting stricter about remanufactured cartridges, so I guess its best to stick with HP brand, Take a chance if you want to but you’ll find out you own a set of cartridges that you may not be able to use.

HP ink is not cheap, but then again all the manufacturers are getting up there. All in all a pretty nice printer in the lower price printer ranges but have had good luck with them before, so hope I don’t jinx it!!.

This replaces an 11 year old HP all-in-one and for the most part it is a much better printer. Upgraded from 8×10 to 11×17 size max scan size. Because of the larger scan size and 2 trays this is a beast bigger and heavier than older machine.

PROS 1. 2 paper trays & auto select picks letter or legal correctly when size is specified 2. Scans duplex without re-feeding paper through the machine- 1 pass gets both sides. 3. Duplex scans legal size documents (old printer couldn’t) 4.

Scan and print quality very good 5. Prints faster than old machine w/text only very fast. 6. Setup was fast and easy all computers in household recognized and set up drivers very fast. 7. Paper trays will accommodate up to 11×17″ paper 8.

Software for scanning provides more flexibility in selecting scan options than old software and works really well. 9. Used several types and sizes of paper and so far no jams feeds everything well. CONS 1.

Size of the display it is tiny about half the size of the old printer. Makes it very hard to see what is on the screen and with big fingers like I have getting the right item pressed especially on the top of the display is almost impossible.

Using a stylus for this thankfully don’t use display often. 2. Document handler only holds 35 sheets old one held 50. 3. Tray where scanned documents goes after being scanned is WAY TO SHORT. HP reduced the height of this to save space since the unit is so big.

so it is just under 1″ and the papers don’t stick out very far from the document feeder above. This makes it difficult to pull the papers out after they are scanned. 4. Software for scanning and printing are buried in a master program.

Must start main program which takes a while to load, then select for scan wait for that to load then select scan from there so 3 mouse clicks to get to scan a document. Old software allowed that program to be started directly from desktop icon.

Way faster. Haven’t been able to find a way to do that with this software. 5. Smart chip in ink cartridges and HP constantly auto updating firmware to make use of 3rd party cartridges very difficult.

Checking several ink suppliers looks like you can work around that a bit. I know ink is where the profit is but still ink is waaaay to expensive.

Very easy to install to my Wi-Fi. My iPhone and iPad automatically recognized it when I printed from them. You can even scan from your phone directly to the printer no matter where you are. If you ever printed photos in a printer that doesn’t have a dedicated tray for photo papers, you know that it can be frustrating and it is prone to errors, making you waste time and money.

Fortunately, this HP Envy Inspire comes with a tray exclusive for photos that actually works and does so very well. Equally important, the pictures look professional, which is something really important to me because I take a lot of photos and I expect the best ones to look great on paper.

Text is excellent like all modern HP printers and the speed is very good for most home offices although it could be considered slow if you print a lot of work documents. What I dislike is the fact that it uses a tri-color cartridge, which is a waste of ink in my opinion.

You run out of magenta, for instance, and you have to buy another cartridge, wasting the remaining yellow and blue inks. Here are the Pros: • Easy menu on an LCD color screen • Dedicated photo tray with two-sided capabilities • Supports up to Wi-Fi generation 5 • Easy connection to mobile devices such as phones and tablets • Excellent photo and print quality • Great app features such as remote scan and print • Duplex printing, a must for many people and great to save paper.

• 6 months of Instant Ink included, which is sent to you automatically when the printer senses your running of ink And the Cons: • Only works with Original HP ink. It guarantees quality but HP ink is not cheap • Instant Ink Subscription is great and started cheap, but they just increased their price depending on your type of subscription.

It is convenient but it also optional, so you can decide whether this is a con or pro. • Tri-color ink cartridge. I prefer individual color cartdriges. • Doesn’t support the newest Wi-Fi generations 6 and 6e.

Not many homes have that yet, but it is the future of newer Wi-Fi routers. You can’t go wrong with an HP printer, and this one is no exception. Despite my complaints about their tri-color cartridge and Instant Ink subscription, which is somewhat pricey but very convenient, especially if you print a lot, its print quality is unmatched.

With this printer, my expectation was not that it could produce perfect, professional quality photo prints at its price point. I was looking at this as something my family could use to make a quick print from a phone or tablet on the go.

That’s pretty much exactly how this printer is being marketed. I have had a similar printer for several years, and lately it has started to deteriorate, but I had a baseline for comparison from when it was new.

In Terms of design, I personally like the simple, streamline, utilitarian build that doesn’t take up excess space and doesn’t have excessive “styling”. The design of the paper trays and the out-feed are well thought out.

Selecting the correct place to put various stock sizes is very easy. The out-feed support is a very simple piece that slides out easily, not at all like the complicated, clunky, noisy and now broken mechanical out-feed that was on my old printer.

Overall, though made of plastics, the printer feels solid, and there don’t appear to be unnecessary bits and pieces that can break off, dislodge or otherwise become problems. When setting up the printer I was prompted to install a mobile app, and a QR code was provided that linked my phone to the app.

After installing the app, basic setup of the printer was extremely simple, and I ran the printer through some calibration and test prints. While not silent this printer is much quieter, and also much quicker to start prints than my previous printer.

The machine doesn’t shake rattle and roll, just a couple of noises as the paper is picked up then there is just a nice smooth finish. The app on the phone seems to be pretty handy, especially considering the limited number of options that the mobile device has natively for printing.

There was a bit of learning curve to navigating some of the options to get exactly what I wanted, in particular I found changing sizes to be difficult. After running through several prints on my phone, I decided to try out printing from my windows laptop.

Normally, when I print from the laptop I simply use the built-in print utility and everything works fine. I have done this with a variety of printers. The laptop saw the printer on my network and I figured I was all good to go.

This is the first printer that I have had that forced me to download the brand specific print application so that I could change certain preferences, and unlike the phone, I found the printing process very convoluted on the laptop.

For example, when I tried to print a photo from the laptop at the highest output resolution, it would continually throw back to a lower quality when I selected the exact photo stock paper that was recommended.

This was a bit frustrating and I had to play a bit of guessing game to find which combination of paper would work for the output I wanted. In terms of print quality, I cannot complain about the sharpness of the prints as all of the high-resolution images that I printed from both my phone and laptop looked nice and crisp.

I was however disappointed with the color reproduction. This printer just seems to struggle with skin tones. Everything seems too red and over-saturated. I ran the calibration utility, and then I scanned an older photo that I had using the printer’s built in scanner.

The scan to laptop utility worked very well and the image that I saw on the laptop was a very accurate, very true to color and tone copy of the photo. When I printed it out, the skin tones were simply too red.

This seems like a very big flaw for a printed that will primarily be used to produce pictures of family and most likely people more than anything else. The printer came with a free 6-month subscription to the HP ink delivery service.

I have not had the printer long enough to say whether this service will be worth paying for later. I will say that the ink tanks on this printer are combined 3 color in one cartridge tanks, meaning that when you are out of cyan, you have to swap the whole tank.

This is something that I cam not fond of. Considering the small size of the tanks I feel like I will be blowing through ink cartridges quite quickly, though the documentation for the ink delivery program states that the tanks you will received through that service have more prints in them than the XL tanks you can purchase at retail stores.

Overall, I feel like this printer is just ok. It has some solid design and some nice capabilities (the wireless scanning is my favorite feature so far!). On the downside, it’s difficulty printing skin tones and some of the difficulty I had in the Windows environment are pretty big issues, especially considering the price point is higher than some similar printers I have owned or encountered.

I’ve been a loyal HP customer for almost 20 years. I bought this to replace my last HP portable printer that I got about 7 years ago, which was awesome – the paper feed lid finally broke, though the printer itself still worked.

Decided it was time to upgrade, and I work a lot in the field, so I got the printer that also does scanning. The printer is fast and print quality is good, but only if it’s connected to my home wifi.

Which is useless for me. I have a printer at home and I got the portable printer so I can take it out in the field. It’s been super inconvenient working with clients and having to run to my office to print documents and then come back.

I have tried all the bells and whistles options that this printer supposedly has. I tried printing via the dedicated email address assigned to it. I tried using Direct Print. I tried connecting a USB cord directly to my computer.

I tried using my cell phone wifi hotspot. (It works on my home wifi, but not my cell phone wifi. ) I checked the metered section to see if I had checked a box that disabled sending data over metered connections, but it didn’t matter.

I turned the printer off and on again, reinstalled the printer drivers, nothing works. Except my home wifi. Oh, and the printer will decide to randomly print in only black ink, even if color is selected.

I had to reinstall the drivers several times to reset that issue. So, this thing is under warranty, right? So I went to the website to troubleshoot, before calling customer service. I found myself in a loop – each HP site redirecting me to the one I had just been at.

I went to the printer driver site and installed all the drivers except the IT specific ones. I installed the HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose/fix the issue. None of these things worked. I still cannot print except on my home wifi.

I broke down and called customer service, to hear an automated message asking for the serial number. I checked all the places where the HP site said the serial number would be, and it wasn’t there. Finally, I thought to check the HP display “information” and found it.

Only it’s not correct. The automated help line directed me to the HP website and disconnected the call, and the website did not recognize that serial number. I’m at a loss. Aside from not working as it should, this printer has wasted hours of my precious time.

For the amount of money we pay for the printers and the ink, (HP had over 63 billion in revenue in 2021,) I feel there is no excuse for a poor product and nonexistent customer service. Very disappointed and will be looking at other competitors from now on.

The printer was advertised as coming with installation CD and manual, however neither was in the box from HP. There was only a page referring you to their on-line set-up, which would be a problem if internet is not available.

It did not come with a printer cable, although that was indicated on box. After much trouble trying to install the printer via the Wi-Fi options, and downloading the necessary software and instructions, it would not work on the local network where we were staying.

Locating the necessary files and information was challenging on the HP support site, which directed you to unrelated help pages if you used the search function. Once installed, any attempt to print a page using the local wi-fi port option crashed my computer completely, requiring a hard shut-down and restart to regain control of the computer (Windows 97) after a page partially prints out.

The same result if any attempt to scan a document with it. Only by shutting off all wi-fi functions of the printer and using a separately purchased USB cable could successful printing and scanning be achieved.

That said, once the horrors of getting the unit set up were done, the print quality and speed is good, as is the scan operation, if somewhat cumbersome to access via their interface. The printer is compact, and easily portable, and the battery power is likely to be useful, although I have not used it so far, other than having to spend the two hours to charge the battery before being able to set it up.

However, be aware that if you are traveling and not on a home or business network, the wireless functions are useless, and operation is only possible using a direct cable connection to the printer. If you don’t need the scan and copy functions, I would look to a different manufacturer.

I would expect the problems would be the same with the HP print-only version as the set-up software appears to be the same for both the OJ-200 (printer only) and OJ-250 (all in one) versions. If you do purchase it, get the extended Staples warranttee on it, as based on my other experience with HP printers, they fail after a year or so, and it is expensive compared to non-portable units.

It does NOT come with all items needed to work after set up!! I do not mind needing additional set up since it is a multi-function machine. But come on now! No user manual with instructuons, no printed sheet with easy set up that lists AT LEAST the LINKS NEEDED to DOWNLOAD more set up just to simply PRINT A DOCUMENT.

No cord to connect to laptop! (Only wireless printing!). Ok but more downloading for since it is “wireless”. Hum, still can’t use it. I HAVE NEVER PURCHASED A PRINTER REQUIRING such work to set up. Over an hour of set up time and still cannot print a single document.

Followed all instructions and nothing, nada, zero.

First time using these dual cartridge epoxy tubes. This applicator works great. It’s smooth, can be released easily, and is well made. Application can be very precise. I’m very happy with this purchase.

This 200ml Dispenser Gun is well built and performs as it should. Smooth action.

amazing product but unfortunately students shoved a banana into the drain and there is no way of fixing the clog, and the next day the facet cover was taken during one of the “devious licks trends” on tiktac.

Later through the week I was informed the entire Elkay-EZH20 water station was stolen. After watching the cameras I installed off of etsey failed to show me what happened. I later checked the bathroom logs and discovered the student who had taken the Elkay-EZH20 water station had put it in his/her backpack and was carrying it around the school.

Great product but I’m a little disappointed about how easy it was to remove the water fountain from the wall. But the water fountain was not harmed as it is made of stainless steal.

This is a very nice water fountain unit which I installed in a church lobby. There has been several positive comments made about this, so users are happy with the unit. As is probably true of most units like this the amount of space available for the three necessary utilities (power, waste water system, and source water) is very limited and not very flexible.

My advice is to reconfigure your utilities in the wall precisely the way it is documented in the product literature. I did not do that and had to reconfigure things as I went. The resulting installation was subject to many adjustments, elonging the installation time.

The installation documentation lacks lots of details, which may not be important for professional installers, but impacted my own installation as a non-professional. I reviewed the documentation prior to purchase, and was left with the impression that there was a lot more space for utilities.

It turns out that space is really, really limited.

We bought this drinking fountain for our new office remodel and it has worked perfect ever since. It is perfect for employees to refill their water bottles time and time again with cold filtered water.

It’s a great design and completely accessible to everyone. Now instead of buying bottled water, we have this great drinking fountain and saves us $. Highly recommended.

Les couleurs sont sont assez convaincantes grâce à l’encre séparée (4). Je n ai pas encore essayer la qualité photo, mais ayant déjà imprimé en grande quantité, j’ai pu apprécier la rapidité de l’impression.

C’est une imprimante très économique, le coût est très bas selon les niveaux des réservoirs séparés, cela reste un plus. Il est bien sur dommage qu il faille prendre un modèle 130 euros plus cher pour obtenir un écran tactile.

Très peu de défauts et de bonne qualité. Je recommande cette gamme de smart tank série 7300.

Après de nombreux mois d’hésitation, j’ai acheté ce modèle pour diverses raisons. La première est le coût d’impression, je suis enseignant et j’imprime très régulièrement à la maison les documents de cours.

J’ai un peu la flemme d’utiliser les photocopieurs du lycée qui sont régulièrement en panne. N’ayant cette imprimante que depuis très peu de temps, je n’ai pas encore de retour objectif sur l’économie réalisée même si je n’en doute pas.

La seconde est la connexion wifi. Je travaille sur surface pro, mes enfants utilisent leur tablette ou smartphone et tout le monde peut imprimer sans problème. J’ai quand même un peu galéré pour la connexion avec l’imprimante en utilisant l’appli HP, mais je crois que cela était dû à mon réseau domestique qui rencontrait quelques soucis de connexion.

Par contre, une fois paramétrée, l’impression est très facile, recto verso possible et de bonne qualité.

Premièrement, son côté esthétique me plaît beaucoup. Ayant décoré mon bureau dans les tons blanc, vert et marbre, elle se fond tout à fait dans le décor. Ensuite, mon copain avait déjà une imprimante depuis quelques années, mais il ne fallait pas énormément d’impressions pour que le niveau des cartouches baisse rapidement.

Ici, elles sont toujours pratiquement pleines alors que nous avons déjà imprimé pas mal de documents et photos. Travaillant tous les deux en ligne et depuis notre domicile, cette imprimante nous convient donc parfaitement, puisqu’en plus de tout cela, elle est très rapide.

Bref, nous sommes absolument ravis de ce produit et ne pouvons que le recommander à quiconque recherche une imprimante de qualité, rapide et économique.

The ET-3850 delivers in its main promise – affordable inkjet printing, at last. It is a disruptive product in what had become a stagnate market segment. In this new business model, the cost of designing and building a printer is recovered at purchase, rather than through ink cartridge purchases down the road.

Contrast this to the HP ‘razor blade and razor’ model, which enticed many users, myself included, to eventually buy 3rd party ink cartridges that void your warranty. The tradeoff here is that the ET-3850 is clearly built to a price point.

Compared to the HP OfficeJet Pro printer it replaced in our home, it’s a lightweight. The functionality and economy are so good that this seems like a fair tradeoff, but there are some design elements that can seem cheap.

Among these are the front panel, a faux honeycomb that looks worse in white than it would in black, which is an option but does not seem to have hit the USA market yet. My unit (or units, I bought two) also had poorly aligned product labels, and issues with the online the product registration, which I had to work out with Epson by email and, eventually, by phone.

With that out of the way, let me tell you what Epson got right. The ink system is genius, from the large, keyed bottles that automagically stop filling when the tanks are full, to the transparent ink tanks that let you see how much ink is left.

I did find it a little curious that the ink level in the ‘maintenance box’ (a $10 consumable item that captures any purged ink) is shown with a graphic that represents remaining capacity rather than fill level, which is the opposite of how ink levels are shown.

Once you understand how this works it’s a non-issue. The app you use to setup the printer works great and is a nice innovation. For those without a computer, this is very convenient. But it’s also a win if you will be connecting a computer or connecting this printer to your network, because it decouples the printer setup and any connecting issues you might have.

This is the step up model from the ET-2850, gaining a 250 sheet bottom feeding paper tray (vs. a 100 sheet rear tray), an auto document feeder, an Ethernet port, and faster printing. It runs $100 more than the ET-2850, which seems steep but was worth it to me.

I purchased this printer to replace an old HP workhorse that was past its prime. I really wanted a mega-tank type printer, and with my timeline and in-store availability, this one seemed to fit the bill.

Pros: It’s much smaller and lighter than my old printer, which I appreciated since it lives in my living room. The ink tanks were easy and clean to fill, and I’m excited about not having to buy cartridges.

Setup was straightforward but time consuming. It’s super easy to connect any device, whether computer or phone. Cons: Communication to the computer once a document is sent is slow, leaving you wondering if the document successfully sent.

Printing and scanning legal size documents, although possible, is extremely frustrating. The color on full-color pictures is poor, but maybe there’s a setting to change saturation, I haven’t looked. It’s a bit tedious to get through the menus, especially since the display is not touch screen.

Coming from my old office-quality printer, it’s a bit disappointing overall. Overall, it seems to be a great printer for basic use. Anything beyond basic might require another model. Had it not been this type and with full tanks, and I traded in my old printer, I would have returned it.

It works for me but I really should have looked harder before purchasing (I later found a discontinued but still available Epson model that has more of the features I often use). Thank goodness these days we’re doing more basic printing, but if that changes, I will need to consider replacing this unit.

The Epson EcoTank ET 3850 All in One printer arrived securely packaged in a nice box with everything needed to get set up. There is a warning in the instruction booklet that says not to touch the ink tubes and their translucent cover.

I didn’t see this warning when removing the blue tape from the various areas on the printer, but fortunately didn’t remove the translucent cover. But I did touch the ink tubes, hopefully that won’t cause any damage over time.

There is a power plug on the back of the unit that sticks out an extra inch, it would have been nice for this to have been Setup was really easy. The instructions show a three prong plug, but it’s a 2 prong plug.

After you plug the printer in you download the app to get started. Upon setup the app acts like a chat window with a smart AI, “Epson Smart Panel” that guides you and chats with you. The app/phone will find the printer after you turn it on.

Once found, you fill the ink tanks. The app has you agree to a couple simple rules, then sends info to the printer which takes approx. 20 seconds. After that the next steps are all displayed on the app, which are filling the ink tanks.

To fill the tanks you need to open the scanner unit with both hands until it locks in place, which actually requires one hand on the base and one on the lid, to pull it into place. Fill black in first.

Filling is really easy. You just remove the cap on the ink bottle. Line it up with the filling port and flip it over to fill. The ink bottle stands in place while the ink reservoir is filled. You do not need to push or squeeze at all, and it doesn’t seem like there is any risk of spillage at all either.

The ink stops flowing from the bottle automatically once the reservoir is filled. Filling the black ink took approximately 75 seconds and I still have a small amount of black ink left in the bottle for future use.

After filling the black ink, continue with the rest of the colors, cyan, magenta and yellow. Once all the ink is filled you close the ink lid, and the scanner unit. The app has you verify twice that all tanks are filled before proceeding with the ink initialization.

The app says that ink initialization takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. I noticed after initialization that all the ink tanks were now a little lower, probably from the ink going into the tubes.

I wonder if I can fill the rest of the ink for the bottles into the tanks now, so that I don’t have to store the bottles. No you cannot, when I went to fill the tanks a message appeared on the screen saying not to fill them more than ⅔ full.

While the ink initializes, the app has you connect the printer to wifi. Once the ink is initialized, you are finished with the app and follow the instructions shown on the printer screen for the remainder of the set up.

The screen instructs you to perform a print head nozzle check and has you load paper into the paper tray. Then you check the print head alignment, using the on screen instructions. There are 4 printer alignment tests, which require you to review printouts and select the best images.

Once the alignment tests were completed, I then checked for and installed a firmware update. Overall I’m extremely pleased with this printer. It’s easy to connect to, does a great job on the print quality and it prints quickly.

Best of all, I won’t have to replace the ink every couple months like I’ve had to do with previous printers. This new Epson EcoTank is good for the environment and good for my wallet. I highly recommend this printer to anyone who wants a high quality printer that won’t cost an arm and a leg to maintain.

Off the bat, setup was maybe a total of 35 minutes from the time I started unboxing it. After that great start, I also found The Epson ET-2800 printer easy to use. The quality of the printing has been perfect for my business and personal use.

I work from home (graphic design) so this comes in especially handy for me because sub-par quality is not an option for my customers and they were not disappointed. I’ll cover that more a little later on the review.

Another amazing feature, and in some ways the best one of all is the ET-2800 comes with more than enough ink so re-ordering toner as frequently as I normally do is one less thing I will have to worry about.

Loading the ink tanks was easy and without any hassle. You can load paper into the ET-2800 via the front tray, rear paper feed or automatic feeder. The wireless capability made it so I could use it from any device in the house which is super convenient for schoolwork, my business, or just for fun.

There are even voice-activated commands that both me and my daughter got a kick out of, not to mention it makes it extra convenient when I need an extra set of hands that aren’t available. The ET-2800 features a small colored screen that makes faxing, scanning, and settings adjustments a breeze.

The print quality is top of the line. Accurate colors, no smudges, and clear as can be. You’d think that a machine with all of these capabilities would take up a ton of space, but it doesn’t. It fits right next to my desktop in my home office and takes up even less space than my other inkjet printer that held far less ink and wasn’t as productive as this machine.

I highly recommend this for home use, especially if you work from home. This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-2800 Wireless Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

I wanted a printer that allows me to print checks and envelopes, as well as photos and note cards. I have been reviewing printers for over a month and really had my heart set on same brand, but the higher up version because this one doesn’t do auto two-sided printing.

But, did I want to pay more for that feature? Thankfully, I have access to a b&w laser printer that does auto two-sided printing and I don’t print a lot of documents anyways. This printer saved me money, was in stock, and was discounted on sale.

The other advantage over other brands is the ink tanks. I got the printer home, unpacked it and plugged it in, added the ink which was super, super easy plus there is still a tad bit of ink in the bottles and the lids lock tight for storing.

Setting up the printer via the app on the phone was spot-on, too. It is guided and it is done through what looks like a chat window, helping you through the steps with diagrams. I honestly didn’t have to access the screen on the printer, except to confirm paper size.

I would have preferred tray loading of stock paper, envelopes, etc. but instead, all paper is fed through the back. After working with the printer on. a few prints, I realized that this is better than paper trays for my purpose.

I printed a few envelopes and they printed beautifully. The only exception is if you have only one envelope in the feeder, then it can smudge a little on the leading edge. Solution is to always have more than one envelope, even if you print just one.

Loading was intuitive, too. With other printers, I have problems trying to determine orientation of envelopes and checks. With this printer, it was so intuitive that I got it right the first time and confident.

I won’t have issues in the future! After I printed envelopes, I decided to print a check. I only loaded one check and got it right. The quality came out really well and no smudges. Totally professional.

I did print some documents and they looked stunning, too. The speed is “ok” and for my needs, it works out just fine. Setting the printer up on the Mac was so easy. It found the printer and with a minute, was able to print a test document wirelessly.

I can check on ink levels, etc. Even though the printer is advertised in various ways that this doesn’t have auto two-sided printing, I am giving it four stars. I feel that if Epson really cares about the environment, that they would not make a printer that wasn’t auto two-sided printer.

Not saying they don’t care… but it isn’t representative in the product you are making. Save on ink and plastics, yes… but paper and trees. it’s on me to manually flip to save the trees and bees! I also gave it four stars because there are too many variations of the same printer and it adds complexity to deciding which model works for me.

Each has their pros and cons and if they narrowed their product line down to less models, maybe they would have more in stock? I do really like the screen on the printer. The whole screen and buttons are on a panel that flips up so you can look at it from above rather than squatting in front of the printer.

Love it! The printer does sometimes doesn’t print until I interact with the printer if the paper size changes. Not a big deal… I click OK and confirm yes/no via the up or down arrows and it starts printing correctly.

I went with Epson because of the ink technology and seems that they have a solid line of printers. The printers that has the ink tank technology does cost more, but it looks like refilling will be cheaper than the cartridges.

I would recommend this for the home or home office. Using the printer on a daily basis would not be an issue with this one. If you print two sided a lot, you may want to look for a higher-up model or do what I have… a secondary b&w laser printer.

Epson is a good brand. They are putting a lot of focus on ensuring that they have a quality app, instructions, setup, and features on various price levels.

Hands down, this is the best printer I have ever used. Not only does it do everything – print, batch scan and copy via top feeder or single sheet scan and copy, and fax (just in case the 90s come back) – but it does all of these things incredibly well.

First of all, this printer is FAST. Way faster than a laser printer, and the ink comes out bone dry too. No waiting for a print job, and no waiting for ink to dry. The ink doesn’t run or smudge when you highlight or run a finger across it.

Print quality is spectacular, even on the lowest quality print setting. The resolution of the prints in both black and white and color prints is top notch. The details are all reproduced with clarity and accuracy, and the same goes for color.

Straight lines are straight and there’s deviation from what you see on the screen. Another great feature many other printers lack, is the ability to use the top feeder for batch copy making, just like you would with a giant copy machine and just as fast if not faster.

Oh, and did I mention it does duplex copies too? Because it does! Ink cartridges last a really long time, and the off-brand replacements are both affordable and equally as effective. This is another huge plus since most printers these days are trying to rob you blind with the ink refills.

Not the case here. The printer has a very small footprint for how much it does, and doesn’t look too bad sitting on the desk either which always a nice bonus. Multiple paper feeder trays allow maximum versatility and efficiency.

This printer will print up to 8. 5″ x 14″ paper sizes.

We purchased this unit to replace a 15 year old unit that was giving us some trouble. Upgraded to the bottle filler feature (which our staff loves). Easy install as the existing plumbing matched perfectly.

WE HAVE ONLY HAD IT 2 WEEKS, TIME WILL TELL. MY REVIEW WOULD BE HIGHER IF I DIDN’T HAVE TO RUN OUT FOR PARTS THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE COME WITH THE UNIT. I HAD TO BUY THE ‘TEE’ TO RUN WATER TO THE BOTTLE FILLER.

THE PLASTIC TUBING TASTE DOES GO AWAY WITH EXTRA LONG FLUSHING. YUM!.

This is a perfect solution for schools looking to promote sustainability to their students. The bottle filler is perfect for our students to fill up their reusable water bottles and reduces the need for disposable cups and or plastic water bottles.

J’ai mis une étoile pour l’article Epson et 5 étoiles pour Digitec. Depuis que j’ai acheté ce produit début juin 2021, j’ai pu imprimer que 76 pages de divers documents (de type lettre en noir), je n’ai même pas encore utilisé pour imprimer de la couleur.

Malgré ça, mes encres couleurs sont au plus bas ? ! ? ! ? Aujourd’hui j’ai acheté un cartouche de noir, car j’ai quelques lettres à imprimer, mais l’imprimante met beaucoup de temps à faire son cycle de nettoyage de la tête, à tel point que j’ai le temps de boire un café.

Mon grand problème, c’est qu’après avoir installé ma nouvelle cartouche d’encre noir et le cycle de nettoyage, l’imprimante me dit que je dois changer les 3 couleurs ???? et en plus, cerise sur le gâteau, mon encre noir toute neuve est descendu de plus de la moitié de sa capacité, alors que je n’ai encore rien imprimer (voir photo) Mon autre problème, c’est que l’imprimante ne me laisse pas imprimer tant que toutes les encres ne soient changées.

c’est vraiment prendre les gens pour des bouffons. Je déconseille l’achat de ce modèle d’Epson.

Je crois que les cartouches livrées avec l’imprimante sont des cartouches pour tester l’imprimante car leur autonomie est insignifiante, la jauge descend à vue d’oeil. J’attend d’en recevoir pour faire un réel test.

Elle est extrêmement rapide mais depuis que je l’ai elle a eu un bugue. Je l’ai redémarré en retirant la prise et là il me semble que la cartouche qui était à 40% est passé à 0% donc à remplacer. C’est un problème connu et il y a des patchs non officiels pour garder ses cartouches jusqu’au bout.

C’est dommage car on ne peut pas tout avoir dans une seule machine. La HP que j’avais avant était très économique. Vu le prix des imprimantes plus personne ne veut se salir les mains pour les dépoussiérer et leur donner un second souffle.

Choisie pour remplacer l’imprimante d’un vieux portable HP avec Windows XP 32-bits (âgée de 13 ans). Installation faite à partir du CD livré avec la XP-7100 (on peut aussi procéder par téléchargement).

Soulagement : tout s’est déroulé sans anicroche. ATTENTION : le guide de démarrage rapide (version papier) livré avec la XP-7100 reçue manque quelque peu de clarté et de précision à propos du chargement des 2 bacs à papier (bac à papier photo 10×15 et bac à papier A4).

Ne pas hésiter à lire le manuel de l’utilisateur (pdf sur le CD) avant installation. Les 5 cartouches (noir, noir photo, cyan, magenta et jaune) d’encre Claria sont, pour 4 d’entre elles, des encres à colorants (la 5ème serait un noir à pigments).

Epson, dit-on, serait parvenu, avec les encres Claria, à obtenir une durée de vie des couleurs imprimées comparable à celle des encres à pigments. Le format du bac à papier photo et le prix d’un “multipack” de cartouches 33 ou 33XL (ce dernier voisine celui de l’imprimante.

I have only used this once, so I am sure I will get better at it. But it saved me SO MUCH time. I was filling individual capsules until this came and can’t believe how much faster this is. Highly recommend.

I was able to fill 48 capsules in about a half hour. my first time. The only issue I had is figuring out how much each capsule holds in order to take the correct dosage. Ultimately, I measured out the amount (of tumeric) in 24 capsules.

It wouldn’t all fit so I measured amount for 12 capsules, filled 24 caps with half dose, and another 24 with half dose, and now take 2 caps a day to get my correct dosage. (Hope that made sense. ) I suppose buying larger caps would work but don’t want larger pills.

I have been using the Cal-M-Quick now for about 3000 capsules. With this device THERE IS MOST DEFINATELY A LEARNING CURVE!!! The instructions even tell you that BUT. YOU have/get to figure out exactly WHAT that learning curve is.

Let me tell you. it is putting the herb onto the plate, spreading the herb across all the caps and then taking the remainder off the rack, THEN use the tamper. VERY VERY lightly and gently otherwise all that SHOULD have gone in the capsule will have been blown back out and onto the filling rack.

That can be very aggravating. The herb I fill with is VERY light and VERY fine so, finesse is the key. Tamp lightly and gently then spread more herb, keep repeating until you have the amount packed in you would like OR they are full.

After the second time through filling and tamping you don’t have to be AS gentle and can really pack it in there if you like a very full, tightly packed capsule like I do. Making 50 at a time is SO much better than doing them one at a time by hand like I used to do but.

I find myself putting off filling because it IS still a pretty tedious affair mainly because you have to tamp (pack) about 3-5 times to get them nice and full and then. you get to place ALL 50 caps back on one by one until done.

After I fill my initial 50, I would like to do more to stock up what I have ready to use but I just cannot find it in myself to do two or morr batches in a row. All though this HAS most definatley worked as it should and has saved me time, it is still a bit to WANT to use it.

I am probably going to try the other one that is on here even though it only does about half the amount because, it looks a little bit easier to fill and I read the caps all go on at the same time!!! Other than that, Herb Affair has been awesome, best price for the 1000 count caps I have come across.

If there ever was anything I needed, the staff has been great and attentive. The chat function is by far the best way of communicating with them other than just calling but, for people like myself that hates talking on the phone.

The Capsule Machine works as described. I used a powdered bulk supplement which gets a little messy and sticks to the card so I found the bottom of a spoon worked better to get the powder into the capsules.

I packed them only twice then capped them. They popped out easily and cleanly, ready to use. I can’t think of an easier way to fill the capsules.

I’ve bought many ink-jet printers over the years, and they all have the same flaw – The original printer is affordable, but then the ink cartridges do not last long at all, and end up costing many more times than the original printer after a short time.

Even worse, color ink-jets end up using ALL the colors when printing black-and-white, so even if you are careful about what you print, you still use all the ink. So I have been looking for a tank-based printer that also had copier/scanner built in.

I liked the price of this model, and the printout quality has been fine. It has worked well with both my PC and Mac, though you do need to download the software from Epson to take full advantage of the printer’s features.

The main difference between this model and the next more-expensive model is that one has a touch-screen for the printer display, and this one doesn’t. A touch-screen would be nice, but it wasn’t worth the extra expense to me.

Pros: Comes with lots of ink (and extra refills for black). I’ve been printing many pages in color with no regard for ink, and I have lots of all colors left. I know that with all the printing I’ve done so far, I would have used up all the cartridges from my previous Epson WF-2660, but visually from the tank, it doesn’t look like I’ve used much ink yet.

Also, it doesn’t take near as long to spin up for printing as my Canon tank printer. Cons: Printing is VERY LOUD. Scans from automatic document feeder are a little skewed (consistently rotated 5-10 degrees) I use a wired ethernet connection, and have not tried the Wi-fi for more than a couple minutes, so I can’t evaluate Wi-fi performance.

The printer is not bad, I think still bit overpriced even with the discount. , but this what you get when you don’t have to buy ink cartridges all the time. The ink tanks are pretty big probably 3 times bigger than standard cartridge.

The print quality is decent for the price range. The scanner is on slower side, I would compare to my sub 100. 00 Epson printer, the top feeder works but you can go make a coffee if you have more than 5 pages.

The display is not touch screen which on 350. 00 printer is bit disappointing. Brother got them beat on this. If you print several times a week the printer is for you, big ink tanks and the price of the ink bottles is not bad.

You will also have to purchase ink waste basket from time to time, it is around 10. 00 which will not break the bank.

I really like this little printer. I had an HP inkjet that bit the dust and needed a new printer. I mostly will be using this printer to print envelopes (because my laser jet melts windowed envelopes).

This printer was super easy to set up and filling the ink tanks was twice as easy. Just tip the ink bottles onto the the tank nozzle and the ink fills the wells. No gloves necessary because there was absolutely no mess.

The print quality is what I expected for an ink jet, good but not laser quality. I really like that I no longer have to purchase those stupid expensive little ink cartridges. The printer has a very small foot print so it will be super easy for me to take to our annual convention, where the laser jet is bulky and heavy.

There I will be doing all kinds of printing and I feel positive this printer will handle what I throw at it. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone who needs to do a bunch of printing and isn’t looking for laser quality.

I saw a post complaining about the print quality, not so. It prints better than my old HP ink jet printer. I am so impressed with this printer that a friend of mine was looking for an ink jet but was sick of buying the expensive cartridges.

She bought the Epson ET-3760 based on my experience. I’m sure she will be as pleased as I am.

I am so happy quit this little Gadget. I used to feel each capsule individually by hand as I would watch TV at night. Let me tell you how long that takes to fill 300 capsules. This machine makes it goes so fast.

Took me about 25 minutes to fill all three hundred verses about 2 hours. I am so happy! Worth every penny!.

To load the machine you select a capsule and separate it just as you would if you intended to push the parts back together through the fill material and slide them back together completing a capsule.

Instead you place the 2 haves in 2 holes, this takes about the same time as it take to complete the capsule by hand. This is repeated 24 times. One should measure the correct amount of fill for 24 capsules in a small cup.

A portion of the cup is poured over the larger side of the capsules in a slight reservoir. A credit card like card is used to move the material over the open capsules attempting to fill them evenly. Once they are full the excess should be removed with the card and returned to the cup.

Then use the tamper to compress the material, if the material packs you repeat till full or your out of material. Generally count on 3 rounds of packing and clearing if your attempting to fill your capsules.

The machine is not designed to have the caps of the capsules filled, using the way it’s designed capsules are fulled to around 66 % of capacity. You can work at filling the other side but there are issues and if near the over filled capacity that can be achieved by hand the machine will not connect many of the halves and they will drop out in 2 parts or be stuck in the machine.

All the actually full capsules will need to be seated by hand again so they don’t come apart by accident. If the material is free flowing it will pour out when placing the haves of the machine together to complete the capsules.

So if the goal is more aggravation, complexity, mess, materials, time and money to get less in each capsule so more are needed requiring more and more. You may want this machine??.

If you’re looking for a really awesome tattooing machine, this machine will do that, it operates ultra smoothly and is nearly soundless given certain carts such as Cheyenne, Whiteskullts, and EZ Revolution carts.

If you’re an artist who tattoos for long periods on a daily basis you may possibly be disappointed in how poorly the “in house” designed motor holds up. 3 months and I was already sending it in for repair when the motor starting whining.

When I called to inquire I was told by customer service that the motor was specifically designed for the Xion “in house”. They don’t use the proven reliable Maxon motors in the Xion like they do in all their other rotary machines.

They did honor the warranty but with the warranty only lasting a year, the cost to have this motor repair In the future is $180 so not all that excited about this “in house” motor option they’ve went with instead of the proven reliable Maxon.

Don’t want this to seem like a negative review, just an honest review from my experience to help others decide which machine to choose. I was surprised to hear how many other people were having similar issues with their motors failing prematurely compared to how well Maxon motors generally hold up for.

Have been tattooed twice recently by two different artists using these machines. They can ACTUALLY pull fat single pass traditional lines with the 3. 7 mm stroke ( is it the give option?) and pulled beautiful, clean fine lines as well.

I’m getting one, bottom line. It was super smooth and just watching and talking with the artists using them I saw the versatility first hand.

I have the machine set up to soft hit and 3.2 cam, which is super amazing for soft black and grey shading. I love how easy it is to modify and change the settings on this machine!
