20 Best Cartridge For Moose (2022 Updated)

This will be the 3rd cartridge replacement (Moen 1222) for the 2nd bathroom and 2nd cartridge for the bathroom in the master bedroom. The house is only 14 years old. There maybe a design flaw on this cartridges as it is only lasts an average of 5 – 7 years.

And there are no hard water issues on our water supply. The first removal was quite a chalenge as the cartridge was kind of stuck inside since the rubber part on the cartridge has disentigrated and acts as a wedge making removal tough.

And also, it seems the plumber who originally instaled the plumbing did not apply a sufficient amount of plumbers grease on the cartridge. Keeping my fingers crossed on the newly installed cartridges and see how long it would last.

Luckily, I am a DIY thus saves me some big bucks. Calling a professional plumber will not be cheap.

My experience with the Moen cartridge for single-handle showers is that it breaks apart inside the plumbing. Extraction is difficult. For me this meant drilling it out piecemeal using titanium drill bits.

This is after I tried to extract it using the special tool. I had to be careful not to damage the pipes. If you need to drill, be sure you are in a positive frame of mind, that is, not angry or impatient.

The other recommendation is to replace this cartridge as soon as you suspect a problem, such as any drip that won’t shut off. I may have let the problem develop by ignoring the drip for some time (months?).

Also, I twisted the valve hard and may have damaged it further when it froze up in the surrounding pipe. So I would recommend not using any force turning the shower faucet when you first hear complaints from your daughter or whomever happens to use the shower regularly.

High-quality OEM replacement part from a top manufacturer. Follow directions for the install and the result is a like-new shower/tub handle that works effortlessly. Please note that removing the existing 1222 cartridge can be challenging because the large black rubber seals on either side of the cartridge tend to harden over time, making it difficult to extract the cartridge.

Even pulling on the stem with vise-grips or adjustable pliers may not budge the old cartridge. I had to purchase a cartridge puller and even then removal was slow and difficult – I could not have gotten the old cartridge out safely without the puller.

Fortunately, the puller is available in the aftermarket (e. g. , Danco 86712 Puller for Moen, at Home Depot for about $13). Again, the new 1222 cartridge itself is excellent. All of the shower/tub handles now work with fingertip pressure rather than needing hard twisting to go on and off.

I’ve tried a range of cartridges from AT and the competition and this has settled in as my clear favorite. I’m listening on a modest mid-range bookshelf system (Onkyo A9150 amp, Music Hall MMF 5. 3, Q acoustics speakers) and the clarity and soundstage on this cartridge is amazing.

Classical music does really well here with strings, brass, and winds all sounding the best I’ve heard. I’ve also tried the VM95EN and the VM540ML, and the 540ML is really *very* close to this cart in quality, with just a hair smoother sound and wider soundstage on the 740.

If you have a medium or high mass tonearm, the 700-series is not for you and you should get that 540; you’ll still have no regrets. The 95 is also amazing bang for buck and to my ears still sounds better than Ortofon Blue, which is where I started in hifi, but the spatialization on the 5 and 700 series carts is much, much better.

Audio Technica has also put this great sound within reach of folks like myself, who don’t go all in on fancy cables and multi-thousand-dollar speakers; the whole range is much more affordable than competing Microline and Shibata options, even here with the top end ML offering.

My only complaint is the finicky setup. AT adopted a much better mounting system on the VM95 series, which top mounted bolts and cantilevers positioned in a very clear and forward way to make alignment a breeze.

You’ve got to work a lot harder here to get those dang bolts and nuts right and the cantilever position is much harder to see, so it’s nigh impossible to line up right without real magnification. It’s worth it the work, but I do wish stepping up to a more audiophile product didn’t mean giving up on those quality-of-life improvements.

Since the M97Xe is no longer an option, I’d say the VM540ML represents the current price to performance king amongst MM cartridges. One can find a lot said about this cartridge. So I’ll add the two things that stand out to know ahead of time.

1) The mounting screws provided do not work well. When one places the screw heads facing down and the nuts on the top of the headshell, there isn’t any room to even get the supplied flat head screw driver squarely on the screwheads.

The red body actually blocks the screwheads partially. Its very strange. 2) This thing REQUIRES low capacitance. The recommended range is 100 – 200 pF. I started out around 320 pF and there was way too much high frequency emphasis.

I took a frequency response measurement and I had +10dB above 6Khz. You need a phono preamp with no more than 100pF of capacitance and low pF RCA cables and tonearm wire. I still prefer the M97Xe over this, but I do consider it a worthy replacement.

I bought the AT VN740ML to use in an SME3009 S2 Improved arm on my second turntable, an Original Systemdek. I was keen to try one of their Micro Line stylus profiles as they have a reputation for great tracking and smooth delivery due to how the stylus sits in the groove.

I wasnt disappointed, the cartridge delivered way and above my expectations. The musicality, very detailed but smooth top end and dynamics, were fantastic. The thing that struck me more than anything though was the soundstage and the stereo separation, the best Id heard from a moving magnet cartridge.

There are slight niggles though, the biggest one being that Audio Technica have still not introduced threaded connections to most of their high end cartridges which can make them a pain and fiddly to bolt into the headshell.

The second thing is more an observation, you really need to be prepared to put some effort into setting the VTA, azimuth and tracking force spot on to hear this cartridge at its best, but thats a minor point that could be applied to most cartridges and certainly to higher end Audio Technicas.

The end result however is more than worth the effort. When I compared the VM740ML to my Audio Technica Art9 moving coil (at 4 times the price) in my other turntable, an LP12, I found myself beingstruck more by the similarities in the 2 cartridges, than how much better the Art9 was.

This was much more than just the Audio Technica house sound, it showed that the VM740ML was almost moving coil like in its delivery. With all the benefits of replaceable and even an upgradable stylus (to the VM760SLC) this is indeed a smart buy that gives many other more expensive MMs a run for their money.

We have a relatively new Epson WF-7840 ink jet printer. After buying a set of LD re-manufactured ink cartridges to replace the initial set of Epson cartridges which came with the printer, the LD cartridges did fine until an automatic Epson firmware update, whereupon the LD magenta cartridge was no longer recognized by the printer.

So we went out and bought a replacement set of Epson 812 ink cartridges. They work well, but are about twice the price of the LD cartridges. Understand the game being played here. Epson wants to make sure you continue to buy their brand of ink exclusively and rigs their firmware accordingly.

This is one of the costs of buying an Epson ink jet printer, which is very reasonably priced at around $350 for a color printer that can handle 11×17 paper. So that’s the trade off–expensive ink that works fine in exchange for a low entry level price point.

Runs out very quickly, maybe a month of 8 or 10 standard-quality ‘regular-sort-of-web-pages-without-much-graphics’ printed per day. And if you print photos or maps, they last less than two weeks. For cartridges about the same size as the ones used by my former HP copier I get only a quarter of the output from the Epson.

I have checked the settings, looked online for discussions of what to do, but no luck. I regret buying this machine, because in the long run, no initial price point makes up for constant repeated aggravating expenditure on ink.

Unless I can find some way of improving the output, I may be finding this machine a new home and going back to HP.

Nothing much to review other than these fit my model of all in one printer and scanner Epson device. My toner tray did not line up correctly to uninstall the old cartridges, but with a little online research, the best way is to open your printer up to look at the toner tray.

Turn off the device and when turning on the device again, wait for the toner tray to run to the middle of the line and immediately unplug the device. From there the toner tray should be free to move to the appropriate place to open the tray to replace the old toners.

When done, push the tray back to the position it is supposed to be or to the extreme right and then plug it right on in.

This ink is amazing. The entire ecotank collection is amazing. I bought these refills right off the bat with the ecotank. I figured we’d need them within a week, even with ecotank’s claims. I was wrong.

We’re several hundred pages in and still doing great on ink, but we’re definitely prepared for when we run out. I always keep extra ink on hand and this package is very convenient to keep in a desk drawer.

I purchased this extra ink, so I had a replacement on hand. I am glad I did! I thoroughly enjoy this ET 2800 and how far the ink will last before a refill. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t purchase a printer and the compatible ink, like the ET 2800 with the 522 ink bottles.

I have owned two Epson Ecotank Printers in the past 5 years. I print a TON of paperwork in my business! My first printer lasted for over 12,000 pages. This is my second, the ET-2720 and I love it even more than the first.

These ink refills are wonderful and last, for what seems like, forever! They are very reasonably priced compared to competing printers that require cartridges. So far, I have gotten approximately 3000 pages (mostly color) out of less than 1/2 of what these refills use in my printer, and the quality is just as good, if not better, than other products.

I hope Epson continues producing these refillable printers and ink, because they truly save a TON of money! You won’t be disappointed!.

I love shopping on Home Essentials Direct. So long as you know what size you need for things or model numbers they are great but sometimes even when you know the numbers someone gets it wrong and I receive the wrong thing.

It happens. However, returns are a piece of cake and returns or exchanges are fast. This Moen product I purchased previously worked perfect so I have no worries the exchanged one will be perfect also.

UP DATE: 10/11/2021 Received replacement Moen cartridge and installed in 15 mins. or less. Works perfect as I said before. One repair done, and many more to go.

This Moen 1224B faucet cartridge is a perfect OEM fit — unlike any other after market part. This is the ONLY one that will properly fit the Moen faucet. Don’t waste your time or money at the big box store.

Get one of these OEM 1224B cartridges.

The cartridge works well and completely solved the leaking problem. Removing the old cartridge is difficult. After doing some internet research I came upon this method: Search for You Tube video using “How to remove stuck Moen 1224 cartridges” and choose the video by Bob Salatiello.

He gets to the heart of the matter at about 5 minutes into the video.

This was my first laser printer after having probably 12+ InkJets through the years. The laser black ink toner lasted 9 months. I actually logged on here just to see my sales history to find out when i bought my laser printer.

It was in July. Im just now out of Black toner. So it was definitely worth it. When i had my inkjets, I feel as though I was buying new ink every 3 months. going off of memory but it was often. And on top of that, inkjets seem to use the colored inks even when i had settings to use only black.

so i needed to replace colors although i didnt even print colored pages. Well this laser printer black toner lasted 9 months. I print often as i use it for business printing labels / invoices. Well worth the money to go Laser printer than inkjet.

**not to mention it wont dry out like inkjets. they just dry out if not used for a period of time. Had a motorcycle accident and when i was back up and about, my inkjet printer didnt work. likely due to clogged nozzles or whatever.

all the cleaning cycles in the world didnt help. highly recommend laser printers.

I have a question, however — I was printing out a book that I am self-publishing one afternoon, and I had put the new 212XL cartridge a day and a half ago and had used it only a small amount of time.

So, was very surprised when I finished the booklet I am publishing of 23 pages to have the last two pages not come out with enough ink on them so I did those 2 pgs. over when I took the booklet to be bound at the MailBox location where we do mailing.

I thought, oh no, is that all the longer I will be able to use this cartridge?! I tried to copy a few articles the next day and it still was not showing the print to be as clear and good as I expected.

again I wondered. However, a few days later, I started to quite a number of printouts from websites on the internet and they print was absolutely fine, really just like it should be! And I used this same cartridge a day or so ago to copy and print out a number of reports/studies, and internet articles again.

Office Depot/ Office Max is the only place I have found that offers single cartridge sales. All the big box stores offer a three color pack Unfortunately, the ink usage is not evenly distributed. Magenta is the highest usage color for the photos I take.

I do not know why, because I photograph house construction from start to finish. Houses are not typically Magenta, most of the coloration is blue sky, whitish to pale yellow wood, red brick, and black, grey, or earth tone brown shingles.

Nonetheless, someone, somewhere figured out that magenta, yellow, and cyan NOT red, yellow, and blue were the primary colors from which all other colors are made. So, a single pack of magenta allows me to buy the color I need, not a full pack.

If I could only buy 3 color packages, I would have a stack of unused cyan.

Being cheaper-priced ink, it does what it is supposed to do. I wish the print was a little darker and the ink lasted longer. I use this occasionally for printing school worksheets, so I don’t use it for heavy duty print jobs.

The ink is very easy to remove and install. Be careful after removing it because sometimes the ink will leak or get on your fingers. I will buy this ink again since it’s perfect for the small printer and for its minimal use.

Purchasing our Epson WF 2860 Workforce Printer was a big mistake. It blows through ink cartridges quickly (and we are not heavy users) and the ink is ridiculously expensive. Additionally the labeling is confusing.

Most recently, I purchased the Epson 200 package (vs. the Epson 202 package that my printer requires). Except for the 200 vs. 202 labeling, the packaging is identical. The cartridges are only different with the chip that’s installed on each.

but not interchangeable. The ink also leaks from the cartridge creating a mess when changing cartridges. My mistake in buying 200 vs. 202 – but designed for user confusion (vs. its “DESIGNED for EXCELLENCE” logo.

Oh, and, did i say, the print quality is miserable – washed out colors, poor resolution, etc. With this most recent mistake, i purchased from Staples a small HP laser printer (beautiful resolution and compact).

Run from Epson!.

4 Star Epson always means quality. The packaging needs clear instructions informing the buyer some color install coding may ask you to replace an unnamed color after you have just put in a new color cartridge as asked.

It’s asking for a 4th color for a printer such as the WF-2530 which only take the new 3 color box + black. After trying everything including replacing colors which had not indicated a need for replacement, I called Epson and it was apparent the technician who 1st tried to help me had never heard of this problem.

A later technician did find someone who informed us we needed to totally shut down by turning off the printer. A procured which had not previously been required. When I turned on my printer it no longer asked me to replace a color again.

There are printer models now which require at least 4 colors + black. New instructions need to be in the new box. That is a free fix for Epson.

I love this Epson Ink. It is good quality and I love how my copies look. My family has been using Epson Ink for a very long time and we will continue to use it. It is always available at Best Buy and all we have to do is reorder.

It lasts a long time too and we are constantly printing. The price is good as we always order the 4 colors for just $39. 00. You can also order individual colors as needed. So go ahead and try it. You will love it too.

Keep water clear and in balance. The only additional addition I use is 1 cup of liquid chlorine periodically depending on the useage.

Very satisfied with the product. Great price. Will purchase again for our hot tub.

Delivery quick. I can only assume the product is keeping the bad bacteria away since none of us have every gotten rashes or sick.

Based on many online reviews here and other sites, I purchased this for my Pro-ject Carbon Debut in replacing an Ortofon 2M Red. However, this cartridge is not a good match for this turntable. It brings out a lot more detail than the Red and that is good, but the bass and lower mid-range is non-existent, producing an overall “tinny” sound, at least to my older ears.

All my mistake and it seems to be a great value play – just not with my turntable. I do plan on keeping it though and will try it on the second turntable I am buying in the near future. The product came and was very neatly packaged with all accessories.

Installation was easy if you have nimble hands and fingers, helps to have a removable cartridge mount head like the Dual 604. Just made it to the edge of the head mount and I aligned using a turntable protractor Baerwald type.

When aligned properly using the protractor it visually looks off kilter when aligned with the lines of the protractor. As for performance, it seems to be getting better after playing about 30 albums so far during break in.

Mid tones are clean and precise , highs are there and lows are tight and not over pronounced. I am tracking at the recommended 1. 8 g. I used a digital cartridge scale for accuracy which was off by about 2 tens of a gram manually.

This Cartridge/stylus is very very quiet, You have to listen carefully during quiet passages to tell it is a turntable, good improvement over my old 70s ADC cartridge. Overall pretty happy with it.

WOW! For an entry-level cartridge from this line, the sound is immersive, detailed, and natural. And the Nagaoka is not even fully broken in. The soundstage draws you in with its depth and breadth. In orchestral works the strings are sweet, not harsh, Woodwind are full-throated.

Brass is well-rounded, not edgy. Bass and percussion are naturally and powerfully reproduced without muddiness. Instruments are easily placed and detailed. Vocals, especially female, are well-rendered and natural sounding.

The MP-110 is pulling out detail I have not heard in my record collection. Perhaps the best way I can sum this up is by saying with the Nagaoka MP-110 I am no longer listening to my records, I am experiencing the music!.

I have purchased in the past both the Epson T288 Standard and XL versions of Ink Cartridges. The XL Version claims to YIELD 500 Copy/Print and claims to YIELD 2. 5X the Standard Version! Definitely False from my experience.

I’ve been tracking… and the Standard Version… Yields approx 75-100 Prints on Low Density, Draft Print… the LEAST and Lowest Print choice on Plain Paper which if you account for the XL Version with the 2.

5X mathematics …it SHOULD YIELD approx. 200!!! The XL Version SHOULD YIELD approx 500 and instead YIELDS approx 300 using Low Density Draft Print Quality!!!!! Needless to say… I am burning through Epson 288 Print Cartridges at a cumulative VETY HIGH COST so I decided to Track using my Epson XP 430 Printer which gets very little use and I just discovered it was discontinued!?.

I need and like your ink for my printer. However, I wish all of the colors were sold separate. If you sell them, you must know that some items printed use one ink more that another. THerefore, in the past, I have had to buy the whole pack of 3, because you don’t sell yellow, or red, or blue separately like you do with the black.

I think that is really a terrible business issue on your part. They are very expensive, which make your process horrible. I can’t be the only one complaining about this issue. Please let me know if you are changing you selling process.

I purchase from Staples as I have had bad experiences with A and cartridges. I purchased this item and it would not print in color. Nothing odd about printer; I returned and got a second box of color ink and it is the same, not printing in color except a couple of pages did show yellow highlighting, then that stopped as well.

This was done each day, hoping the ink would start flowing, cleaning the printer heads, nozzle check shows black and nothing else. I believe this lot of ink is bad. I have not returned it again. Bummed in black & white.

The cartridges are a great price and they work well too. I purchased them for my new UMRREX T-A-C bb gun. They last for 6 19 round magazine changes. It was quite a bit more than I expected. I recommend this product to anyone who needs it.

I was experiencing feed problems with my Umarex HDP 50. Tech support recommended I try their brand over the Crossman cartridges I was using. No change. I believe it was the ammo I was using. The Umarex cartridges aren’t bad but they are expensive.

The Crossman stuff was half the price and performed just as good.

High quality cartridges that work well in a Umarex Fusion 2 air rifle. Slightly longer than Crossman, no dime between the cartridges needed.

I recently bought a new young Beta and put it in a tank that I’ve had for at least 4year now. But of course I added a new filter, washed my plastic plants and cleaned the rocks with fresh water. After doing all this my water became cloudy within a week.

I figured let me replace the filter, new filter in and only lasted days. I figured one more time but from a new bag of filters. No luck. I thought maybe it’s everything else (plants, rock, tank) so I buy a new 5 gallon tank set.

New everything including rocks and plants. The tank already came with a small filter and within 3 days, the water started going to the bypass. I have no idea what it is, I’ve used all the same things in the past without a problem.

Same distilled water I buy from my local grocery store, rinse the filter as directed and well I change out 25% of the water. I’m not sure what else to do other than buy a different brand tank/ filter.

I thought I had kept my new aquarium clean since I only fed my betta the pellets and only a small snack of flakes. In a month, the water was transparent and not smelly but the Aqueon filter was dirty.

I then decided to see what was going on and removed the fish to do a partial water replacement along with the removal of ornaments and live plants. When I took out the ornaments and pebbles I was surprised by the amount of sediment accumulated at the bottom and the cloudiness of the water.

I am glad I did not listen to suggestions to just replace the filter and a percentage of the water. I let the sediment settle down and used the siphon to remove it. The Aqueon siphon removed it all and the water left was clean.

I then added the necessary water (prepared at aquarium temperature). No more flakes until I can turn off the filter to avoid the flakes being swirled around ending up at the bottom. No wonder my betta rushed from one flake to the other to avoid being swallowed under the current.

In short, the cartridge did its job but one has to watch what “dives” into the bottom of the tank that the filter cannot catch.

I bought this for my kids and despite taking meticulous care of everything the cover light has decided it no longer wants to work. i unplugged it and of course the plug in the cover is corroded. I remember asking the girl at the store if this was a regular cause for concern and she assured me it was not.

I should have listened to my gut and made a different purchase.

To all folks out there who use the 1255 cartridge, and experience external leaks. There is a fix from Moen. 1) The leak is caused by the nut loosening a little bit every time the handle is rotated from one side to another.

2) PIN ASSEMBLY (Locking Spring) – Moen fixed problem by adding this item which locks the nut in place. HOWEVER, the nut has to be the newer designed nut with slots (spaces) between the threads. In other words – the thread is not a continuous thread.

(see picture) 3) Moen sells a complete kit with PIN ASSEMBLY and new style nut, but it has a new Part Number: 205013-01 4) You can verify this by contacting Moen. My local big.

This cartridge was the correct one to use on my Moen Harlon kitchen faucet that had developed a drip from the handle after only about a year or so of use. The only difficult part of removing the original cartridge was unscrewing the cartridge nut.

(To get to the nut, you first use an allen wrench to loosen the set screw holding on the handle, and then carefully pop off the handle dome. ) The plastic nut had been installed so tightly at the factory that pliers did not work.

I’ve got a pretty strong grip, but all I was doing was rounding off the nut. I eventually was able to remove it with a tire iron since I did not have the proper size attachment for my ratchet wrench.

It took two people to do this: one to hold the base of the facet so that it did not twist, and the other to twist off the nut. The new cartridge installed easily, but began to leak just like the one I replaced, even with tightening the nut.

The only way I was able to stop the leak was to use pipe thread sealant (approved for use with plastic fittings and for potable water). The first time I used the sealant, I only put it on the threads of the nut and it did not stop the leak.

The second time, I not only put more on the nut threads, but I also put some on the top inside area of the nut where it contacted the cartridge. This seems to have done the trick – at least for about 2 weeks so far.

As it turns out, my original cartridge was OK. The control box for my automatic infrared faucet is what caused my faucet to leak. a little over a year old. I have city water and about 65 pounds of water pressure in the house.

While inspecting the cartridge, I noticed that there were three holes, one for manual hot water, one for manual cold water and a third hole for automatic water (at whatever temperature you set on the control box).

The hole for automatic water is much larger than the hot and cold holes for manual water. This explains why the gallons per minute in auto infrared mode is _much_ higher than when water flow is controlled by the lever.

Since starting the whole seltzer/soda water drinking trend back in the early ‘90s by buying the bottled then later canned seltzer (very exciting, cans!) at the grocery store in the “Mixers” section then later in the “Water” section, I’ve been drinking seltzer water since well before that.

I converted my wife and we bought the 12 pack for many years. Recently, after many price hikes the store we shop discontinued the 12 pack and went to an 8 pack FOR THE SAME PRICE! We’d thought about a Sodastream before but never could pull the trigger on it.

This last price hike was the last straw. We ordered a Sodastream after buying the last 12 packs at the store. We love the Sodastream! Ordered a few bottles to have around and now have a few C02 canisters so we won’t run out.

We filter with an old Britta and love the taste of the seltzer made from the LA city water that comes out of the tap. Love the fact you recycle the canisters. We always recycled the aluminum cans, well, gave them to an older gentleman who came around on trash day so he could get the return money.

We’ll miss the convenience of individual cans but won’t miss the cost and hauling packages from the grocery. So far, so good.

Today I received my first replacement refill only to find that the packaging included 2 sqft. of AirPlus bubble wrap. While this product is considered recyclable, it requires the consumer to deflate then deliver to a depository which specializes in plastic wraps, Albertsons in my area.

This requires really going out of your way to facilitate sustainable living, something that most people just don’t do. Face it, in less than 55 years plastic has become an environmental crisis. Plastic is toxic and in our food chain, our bodies and our oceans.

The first step is to eliminate plastic packaging which is the responsibility of corporate America not consumers. Love my Soda Stream, it has helped us to significantly cut down on waste. Appreciate the sustainable cardboard but plastic wrap must go.

HP toner works great as always. Good quality prints, but for some reason this cartridge is way too pricey. Because there was not a whole lot to choose from since we had to buy a new copier/printer during COVID, we landed on a monochrome model that took this toner.

The cost of the printer/copier was fine, but I think the toner is going to kill us price-wise due to the number of copies we do on a regular basis. We may have to seek alternatives to compensate and experiment with other options for the future.

I would recommend this toner if price is no object. Buy the X, and not the A if you do large numbers of copies. (10,000 copies vs. 3,000 copies).

HP toner cartridges have a cop in then so the printer knows it’s a genuine cartridge. Have had no problems with my printer using these. Even when you get the “low toner” warning, you can still print 100’s of pages until they get streaky.

(600-1000 extra). Get more than double the pages versus the standard capacity toner cartridges.

Bought this cartridge as a replacement to the oem 3K yield cartridge that came with my brand new HP 428 MFP. After using generic brands I am 100% behind HP genuine cartridges. The 3K cartridge yielded 2,300 pages before I started seeing streaks on the left margin of page output; I hope I at least get 8K out of this 58X cartridge.

I just purchased this HP 49X, Black Original Toner Cartridge for my HP LaserJet printer to replace one I have used for almost 6 months. I have been very satisfied with the HP 49X because I have received more than double the pages of print I used to receive from the basic HP 49 BlackToner Cartridge.

Although the HP 49X is twice the price of the basic HP 49, you save money, since you more than double the number of pages printed, and save valuable time because there is more time between when you would have to both purchase and install the next Toner Cartridge.

I believe that the quality of the HP Black Original Toner Cartridge will keep my HP LaserJet printer running smoothly for years. Purchasing the HP 49X Toner Cartridge with Office Depot on line ordering and delivery was easy, saving additional time.

Wrt to other reviews, I got this cartridge from Amazon today and it appears to be completely genuine, like others Ive bought in the past from other vendors. The outer packaging had an HP holographic seal on the zip tab and the inner packaging seems fine too.

I havent opened the inner packaging as my old cartridge hasnt run out yet. Note that the item is sold and fulfilled by Amazon. Perhaps Im guessing this was not the case previously. I cant see any signs of impending problems but will update this review if they do occur.

Amazons price including nextday delivery with Prime worked out to be 25 less than elsewhere, which I thought was worth a bit of support.

This APPEARED to be an original HP OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) 49X toner cartridge from its description online. When it arrived a few days after I ordered, it also appeared to be a genuine cartridge.

the HP box was sealed, the vacuum packaging inside was intact and whooshed air when I opened it. However, after installing this cartridge in an otherwise perfectly-operational HP 1320 LaserJet printer, all documents printed with this cartridge were defective.

There were lines of text repeated and horizontal smears on EVERY printed page. I’ve never seen problems like this in the dozens of new cartridges I’ve used in this printer. I reinstalled the almost-empty cartridge and the defects disappeared.

I notified 123Inkjets of the problem and they promised a quick RA and a new cartridge. As I write this, those promises were over week ago and yet to be fulfilled. I’ve initiated a chargeback with my credit card provider.

Buyer Beware!.

This ink toner gets the job done. I used it all up in a day, literally. I choose this option because I wanted to try Canon toners to understand their quality. This toner is for some body printing a few color pages here and there.

This specific toner would not be ideal for me or anybody who does a lot of color printing. I am a student and print about a pack of paper a month so this toner would not last for me and a high yield would be better suited for me or anybody in a similar situation.

I’ve been looking for a way to make a Canon complaint. Got this ink to finish printing pages for a project. After about 4 pages, the ink level was almost empty. I managed to get out 4 or so more good pages before the ink was done! I’ve never had that experience but now I see others had it with this ink cartridge.

This ink ran out within the first three pages forcing me to purchase another cartridge somewhere else in order to get a project with an extremely strict deadline in on time. Never purchasing again. Waste of time and money.

great for the Ciano CF80 filter, amd work fine in conjunction with filter.
