20 Best Case Iphone 5C (2022 Updated)

I have purchased several of these cases over the years for many different makes and model of phone. They are very easy to use and fit the device snugly. I’m always impressed by the quality construction and discreet design and would recommend this brand to everybody.

There are actually two variants of the case mate barely there case. the older version has a rubberised coating inside, this version was a great case and lasted for years looking good and protecting the phone.

The newer version no longer has the rubberised interior – this in itself is not an issue but they must have changed the materials the outer coating of the case is made from as the new version peeled to the extent it was fit for the bin in less than two weeks.

It provides great protection. I drop my phone regularly, and I’ve already killed 3 of those the phone always survived. Also, this huge camera whole makes it super convenient to pull the phone out of my pocket!!.

I bought this because I wanted a white cover and couldn’t find many around for a 5S. This one is just what I wanted and fits perfectly. I can’t comment on its durability or protection because I’ve only had it a short time – but it seems adequate.

is not what I expected. It looked just the one I have, had the same name, but did not include an inner rubber liner. I do not think it will provide the protection I expected. Case Mate for iPhone 5C

Sturdy clear iPhone 11 phone case (NOT for iPhone 11 Pro). The thick edges protect my phone drop face up and down drops without compromising the slimness of the phone. I have owned this brand’s cases for previous iPhones and have been pleasant results.

Over time the case will breakdown because of natural wear and tear. Because it’s made of a polycarbonate, it will eventually turn yellow when exposed to the sun (UV rays). This is normal and should not be seen as a critical set back.

All plastics and vinyls break down with wear and tear and explore to the elements. This case fits snug and still allows me to use the volume buttons comfortably without pressing too hard.

First off, I love Incipio cases, having used them on my last three phones. They were DualPro’s too, so this seemed like a no brainer. These cases are not the same as those. While my old DualPro cases had a grippy, soft, rubbery feel and the buttons were easy to push, this case is hard, slick, and the buttons on the right are hard to push, with the left almost impossible to push in.

It’s sad they took something that was great and ruined it. I have looked up this case on other sites since purchasing this, and the buttons being super hard or impossible to push is a common problem with the new models according to reviews.

Guess I’m still looking for a new case.

So I went to sixflags yesterday and the phone I have I had barely had it for 3 months at that point so I was trying to be careful with it. First ride I go in and it falls out of my pocket while hitting this triple hoop on a rollercoaster, I hadn’t notice till the ride was over, luckily the employee said that I could come back at the end of the day he’d help me find it.

the whole day all I could think of was the T-Mobile lady sayin “get insurance in case you loose it, don’t forget it a a thousand dollar phone” and I’m more like mmmeeehhh I’ll be careful I don’t need insurance, I regret those words…or so I thought, end of the day comes and we ride the coaster again in hopes of spotting it along the way, we see the phone right on top of a pile of rocks and my mind goes into a a whole journey of how many pieces my phone was in.

and the wait begins, as many other we’re waiting for their fallen belongings as well, I see them return one phone and it was destrooooyyeeeddddd like no bueno … and I fall into more hopelessness … they found it!! As they come over the first thing I do was check the screen and the camera … I kid you not when I say there was not a single scratch on my phone and even less the case!!! Best case around!! Now that I know my phone is indestructible I don’t even worry when it fall from the table or when step out of the car, because thanks this case my heart is at ease.

Also for the price, I really didn’t think it was going to survive a fall at that eighth and speed, I can say for sure it surprised me.

I bought this case for my old iphone 5c. Its beautiful and rugged. The back side is clear and the side is white. This kind of case is used if you wanted to show off what phone you use. but I preferred it as a protection.

Also, if you are creative; you can add your own picture or design stickers in the back side if your heart desires. I truly recommend this product for protection and style.

This case is really good if you wanted to protect the back of the iPhone. It seemed to make mine hot an does absolutely nothing to protect the screen. Hard to put on hard to get off. Not a fan at all

The case is great. Pretty clear and great material. It’s a little snug but that really only patters when putting it on and taking it off

Bought one for my son and it works great. Fits snug, good protection and looks great. Wish they made one for my samsung s8+.

I like carrying my phone in my shirt pocket. This does everything I need by not being bulky, clumsy or gaudy looking.

Looks like shown. Very tough. I haven’t thrown my phone so I don’t know if it’s as shockproof as it claims, but drumming it with my fingernails it seems a lot tougher than the average case. It certainly doesn’t randomly pop open like my last case did.

This phone case has been amazing too me fits perfectly well on the phone comes with the belt holster fits perfectly for a iPhone 8Plus! Gives it a great protection! While making the phone look great the back part is kind of clear see through so it gives it a great look! Please dont hesitate and buy this!.

Firstly on opening the package I was surprised and disappointed the there was no screen protection; it only has a side and back meaning that I had to source and purchase an additional screen protector.

I fitted the Griffin case and its a good quality case , well made , tight fitting. This comes with 2 interchangeable backs , one clear and one smoked I have had the cover fitted for few days and already the smoked cover has picked up scratches and is looking unsightly.

It would have been far better made if the same rubber type material as the side. Wouldnt recommend as Griffin could have done so much better with the design. Griffin missed the boat here anyone buying a cover like this wants durability, longevity and a tough cover to give piece of mind full protection to there brand new iPhone 8.

Not a half cover that scratches easily.

I purchased a Survivor for iPhone 5 case in April of 2013 at Walmart. There were few choices available for the iPhone 5 in stock and available at that time. I needed a sturdy, protective case for my new phone before traveling.

Cost was an issue so I went with the mid-range in price (and I think that technology device cases are highly over-priced in general). One feature I appreciated about this item was the multi-position clip although I would have purchased it without a clip for a lesser price but that option for the type of case I needed was not available.

I was quite disappointed when the clip promptly broke after only about two months of normal use. After a few more months (within five or six months of purchase) the swivel-piece cover for the camera viewfinder also broke off.

That feature was actually an annoyance due to the fact that it was opaque. I would have much preferred a clear protective piece over the camera viewfinder. I could not take a photo without prying and swiveling the piece open which often delayed the moment of photo-taking opportunity.

This was rather frustrating and I missed many good photo opportunities due to this delay. When the piece broke off I was even more disappointed in the product. The overall quality of the protective liquid-resistant, shock-absorbing soft and hard plastic material is excellent.

That is the one redeeming quality of this product. I’m quite pleased with the durability and protective features of the stationary part of the case. However, given the fact that the two movable parts broke rather soon after my purchase did cause me to regret having made this purchase, especially considering the price I had to pay for it.

The candy shell cases are the best cases ever. Unobtrusive (I can still get my phone into my pocket no problem) but still offers serious impact protection–my phone is 6 years old, and this is the third one of these I’ve bought for it.

So both the durability of the case itself and the durability it has imparted to the phone are pretty great, at an average of 3 years per case! I was skeptical of the sound amplification aspect when I bought the one before this (since the plain non-amplifying one was out of stock, I thought I’d try it out), but it definitely works.

Sound is noticeably louder with it than without. Also, I can type in landscape while talking on the phone on speaker, since the inlets are along the long side, instead of at the bottom where the speaker is on the phone.

And while a little dust collects inside the sound channel, I do like that there’s more protection against debris or liquid entering the speaker directly. One caveat: hand lotion can soften the rubber bezel.

I try not to touch it right after putting lotion on, but it happens. I replaced my last case not because it was broken–it’s fine–but because the bezel has softened and worn down so much it doesn’t stick up above the screen much anymore, and so my screen protectors have started getting cracks more often.

I love the grip on this case the best of all the other cases! If you can grip the sides easily, and hold it ,it’s a lot less likely to slip and fall! I’ve had another Speck Candyshell case on my old Note 4 phone for over 3 years, so after getting another phone (glass S9+)I knew I needed another Speck Candyshell case! I do wish there was more protection on the corners, as I’ve dropped my old phone/case many times, and the last time it fell and bounced on its’ corner on the cement parking lot! The phones’ front screen cracked, also that corner of the case.

(My phone was still useable due to a good screen saver too, and never dropping it again!) This is a bright color teal/turquoise, and very bright pink, (the pink with grey is very light-colored pink, and the Wisteria purple also very pale in color.

) My 1st Candyshell case DID eventually have the rubber-like grips sink into the case so it became LESS grippy on the sides over time. So, this time I ordered extras, 1 in each color available. I do wish there were more color choices, (like medium or light blue and pink, or true green, etc.

) I loved the simple white with black grips! But since the S9+ is now ‘older’ then newer models, I’m not sure how many colors were originally offered for this phone, aside from very dark colors likeblack, etc.

) I also hope they will make the sides higher incase I drop this new phone on its front, it IS slightly raised on the ends. ) It’s a good as for me! Happy buyer!.

Please note that this new version of the Candyshell is different than the one they made 4 years ago. This is a soft-touch case (it is well-made) and the old cases used to be hard plastic with soft rubber accents.

If you like soft-touch cases, you’ll love this case. If, like me, you prefer the hard plastic with the soft rubber inserts. All we can do is hope that they bring back the VERY EXCELLENT Candyshell style they used to sell!.

Had one for MANY years with my last i-Phone. Tried several others with my new i-Phone, but couldn’t find one as good as this. The phone sits in a soft rubber holder, which is then pressed into a hard plastic frame/cover.

The rubber protrudes off the face enough to protect it during falls. All 4 corners remain rubber, and the lightning port has a rubber plug to keep out debris. Super durable, not too thick, comfortable, can’t speak highly enough of this thing!.

Fits perfectly and provides wonderful protection. Ive dropped my phone so many times its ridiculous, even onto concrete from 4 or 5 feet, but this thing protects the phone from even getting scratched.

Because the 4 corners are rubber that does make it tougher to get your phone into and out of, say, your jeans pocket. But you get the hang of it pretty quickly, so no worries about that really. I highly recommend this cover.

1st case lasted a good 2 years before it started coming a part so I wanted the same case. It is bulky, but I don’t mind that because I want protection. My phone is still in great shape after several drops.

I also like that the silicone part is on the inside and the hard plastic is on the outside. That way fuzz doesn’t get all over the phone case from my pocket. This case seems to have a little more grip than the previous so the hard plastic doesn’t slip and slide as much as my previous case.

I don’t want a phone any bigger than a 5 because I wear it on my belt. Admittedly, I’m rough on everything and every few months I break the clip loose from the case and have to replace it so I buy these several at a time.

The good news is that the part that goes on the phone protects it well. I’ve never had my phone break and I drop it frequently. The kickstand works well to hold the phone with one hand like for selfies also.

I had one like this case when I first bought the phone and been thru two of them. They seem to break easily! But this one seems to be more flexible and holds the phone in the case easy! Plus the cost was outstanding.

That why I bought more then one. I had tried to buy the one I had before but they didn’t have any and had to buy one they had for $48. 00 which was like a wallet with a flip cover with magnet. What a waste of money and hard to open to use.

I didn’t like, till I came across this one.

Excellent for the low price. This is the third one I have bought all different brands and it is as good as the older ones but with a much better price. It is solid and my 5C phone fits well.

I bought my first Otter Box product about 8 years ago and have always been happy about its practicality. It is a very good product to product your I-phone from most daily activities (and I have dropped the phone a few times).

The holster is also a great product to have. One issue with it is the release part of the holster when one need to clip/un-clip the phone. This is the most fragile part of the holster and it tends to eventually break.

Fortunately, when contacting Otter Box, they stood by their product and replaced the holster are of charge.

I bought my first iphone Dec. 2017 and I knew I wanted the Otterbox case and holster to protect my phone. The case is still is great shape. The holster last 3 years until it slipped off my belt and crashed to the floor, breaking the clasp which holds the phone in place.

But you definitely make superior products. The replacement came very quickly which was good because I was not used to keeping my phone in my pocket.

This is my third holster for my old Apple SE 1st Gen. The Otter Box is a wonderful unit. Kept my phone in great shape over the years. My holster clips keep breaking so that is the only negative. Will be upgrading my phone shortly and will have a new Otter Box protecting it!.

I’ve had lifeproof cases since they came out over 10 years ago. There was a significant decline in quality when they were acquired by otterbox, but but the fre was still the most protective case on the market (in my opinion).

These cases are great for the first 3 months, but they only last for about 3 months now before they start deteriorating. The cover over the home button comes unattached, the back bubbles out and causes shadows in pictures, the speaker won’t align properly with the hole so no one can hear you, if you can get the cover over the charging port to last more than 6 months, it’s a miracle.

I still have my case from 2012 on my old iPhone that I just use as an iPod now and it’s in better condition than my warranty replacement that I got 4 months ago. The only positive thing is that they haven’t gone up that much in price (if at all).

However, I’d much rather pay more for a product that actually works. At this point, I’m not even going to put in another claim because it’s not worth paying for the shipping.

I bought this a month ago, I’ve only ever use life proof case is the 12 years I’ve had Apple products, the case I had before purchasing this one was a clear hard shell life proof case. I had it for two years and it was no longer usable so I ordered the FRE case because that’s the only super protective case that they carry now for iPhone XR which really upset me because I liked having my clear plastic case so that I could put anything on the inside of it and make it look like my own case, I put Polaroids and stickers in it so it looked really cool.

Now I can’t do it with the FRE. I didn’t want this case but I’m not eligible for a new phone yet so I had to do what I had to do. Definitely not worth the hundred dollars I spent on it. My friends can’t hear me when I’m on the phone with them because the speaker is so muffled from the “ waterproof technology” when I play videos off of my phone it sounds like my phone is underwater.

I have not put my phone in water to test the case, so there would be no water in my speakers. I just wish I could’ve got the case I had before because this one has given me tons of issues. It’s not easy to use.

I don’t like having to open the bottom flap to charge my phone, I didn’t buy this case because I wanted the waterproof technology I bought it because I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t crack my screen, the last case I had didn’t have the jack where the charger port is, or the screen protector over the phone, but I never had an issue with my phone shattering or cracking when I dropped it with my last case.

I just wish they still made the model of case that I used to have because this one sucks. This FRE case was the first one that I ever purchased for my iPhone four and I can continue to buy another one when I got my iPhone 6.

I’ve had this case before and I liked it but this one I have at the moment I do not like at all.

I thought I’d try a totally waterproof case this time. As it’s brand new, I have yet to put it through its paces. This is for my spare “travelling” iPhone I use while on holidays overseas so it will more than likely go for a swim at some point hence the need for a waterproof casing.

As per instructions, I submerged the empty case in water for 30 minutes prior to use and I can definitely say it is absolutely watertight. I like that it’s very light and slim fitting but the rear of the case material feels a bit cheap and plasticky.

Obviously it does what it’s supposed to so only time will tell how long it lasts. I also bought the OTTERBOX Defender case and can still say that protection and quality wise, the OTTERBOX rules! I didn’t give it 5 stars because it doesn’t feel as well built as the Otterbox.

Recommendation is a Conditional recommendation to buy given the issue with a broken belt clip hinge on the first Ottorbox belt clip purchased. **Weak points: Hinge for the belt clip & Thickness & height of the bezel on the case holding the IPhone.

The belt clip holder holds a 2nd part that wraps around the iPhone. They can bought as a set or the belt clip can be purchased separately. This purchase was only for the belt clip holder because soon after purchase the previous belt clip broke at the point where the metal pin holds the two parts of the belt clip together.

I had previously purchased from another source both the Otterbox belt clip and a case that goes around the iPhone (2 part set) which then fits into the belt clip. Bought for the IPhone 5s which Apple has stopped supporting so accessories are drying up & because of that the Defender Set (2 parts) was heavily discounted.

The Defender Series set includes a case to wrap around the 5s IPhone & then a separate belt clip that the IPhone case fits into. The belt clip is what I had to buy a 2nd time. The hinge on the belt clip broke soon after purchase.

I normally would not have bought another after that failure but I already had the Phone case, the belt clip alone with a discount was very cheap & 5s belt clip holders are very few for a discontinued Phone.

There is some type of warranty but the belt clip was so cheap that it was not worth the hassle to take the warranty route, whatever that might have been. The case that wraps around the IPhone: The iPhone 5s has a physical fingerprint recognition button.

The case’s bezel is so thick & high that it makes it difficult to position the finger properly to get a good read on the finger. If the bezel had been slanted that would have helped. The thickness & height probably are not a factor with an iPhone which has facial recognition.

The phone case is definitely thick enough to protect the phone itself if dropped & the case material is not so thick as to be a problem to hold and the case material make for a nonslip case. The belt clip that the Phone case fits into.

I have always used a belt clip & won’t have any other arrangement. The hinge on the belt clip broke. Other than that everything was fine but, while I am babying the 2nd belt clip so that it does not break again, if it breaks again I will not buy another belt clip.

I do recommend the belt clip Conditionally given that the first belt clip broke at the hinge but I am hoping that I can be careful enough that the 2nd belt clip will not break.

I have been using Otterbox products for many years now, and have purchased them for both friends and family. I love the quality of the product, and the customer service is top notch. If I could suggest a slight change, it would only be for the plastic holster that I use daily to carry my iPhone on my belt.

The plastic lip on the Defender holster that holds the phone securely in place, usually snaps off after 4-5 months of daily use. I literally have a drawer full of broken Otterbox holsters. I would pay a premium for a “Made in America” All steel holster that lasts the lifetime of the case.

I have had a few close calls where I have almost lost my cellphone after the holster broke and I didn’t notice it right away!.

This is my third defender holster for the same phone. I broke the first one because I tried to force it onto the phone incorrectly. I lost the second one on an airplane. However, it keeps my phone secure from loss and breakage.

I attach it to my pants pocket when out walking. My phone and holder fits fine in my purse. If I accidentally drop my phone, it doesn’t break.

Stealth and well-protection designed, its hallmark selling features aside from affordable. It does not slip out of the pocket making it secured even on tough and active environment. Not completely waterproof to give way for better sound reception and communication input.

All ports are free to connect.

I love Ulak cases – There are many poorly made and/or over priced phone cases and covers out there. Ulak is not one of them. Got my first around 2012 and have tried to keep finding the Ulak brand since.

Word of warning – A REAL Ulak case will come in a box and with a Screen protector and sometimes a stylus. Youll see the name Ulak on the box and other items received and instructions. If you receive a phone cover without any of those items , without seeing the name, and you notice poor quality – That was not a Ulak.

The cover appears to be very well designed and protective. The features I like are the lightning port cover and the soft rubber grip. Not sure about durability yet since I have had it for a relatively short time.

So far so good!.

I love it! I love the color. I had already purchased a screen protector and had it on my phone. I’m glad that I had a screen protector on my phone already because this caes doesn’t come with one like I originally thought it did.

Once this phone case arrived and I put it on my phone I felt my phone was well protected. I’m always getting compliments on the beautiful color of the case. The color is more of a pink mave and I couldn’t be happier with it.

great for dull skin. always leaves my skin looking glowy and fresh. doesn’t have a crazy scent either which i prefer. definitely a must try

I love Ballistic’s one-piece cases. The raised corners do a great job protecting the phone without adding a lot of bulk. Way better than the two-piece cases, even those offered by Ballistic. They offer a variety of styles.

I bought the clear one for my wife so she could see the rose gold tone of her new iPhone 6S (yes, I know, we’re multiple generations behind the curve, but that’s how we roll). My only complaint is that some of the edges on her case are too sharp.

This wasn’t a problem on the black one I had for my iPhone 6. I expect this to become less of a problem as the case ages.

Prior to purchasing this ballistic clear phone cover I purchased the white ballistic phone cover years ago and it lasted me several years. I dropped my phone many times without any damages because of the corner bumpers.

This cover appears to be nearly the same but the bumpers around each corners seems a little thinner but not by much. I already dropped my phone a couple times with this cover and no damage. So far so good.

I bought this case over 3 years ago when I bought my phone. At that time I paid around 25. 00 at the ATT store. It was worth it because it’s protected my phone. It’s starting to crack so I figured why buy something different when this has work so well.

Now it’s a great price.
