20 Best Case Lg V20 (2022 Updated)

I’m a tradesman and metal fabricator for over forty years. Anything I wear on my belt winds up looking like a disaster after even a week of use. But this case has held up incredibly. A shop filled with metal dust,sparks and everyday grime.

Never a problem. Bang into my welding table fifty times a day. No issues so far. And my iPhone 13 max with a large protective case fits like a glove. Easy to remove with one hand and to slip back in.

Perfect purchase for hard working or playing men and women.

These are very well constructed and very durable. I like the hard case as I don’t concern myself with banging into things while climbing around on a ladder or other physically active work. The only thing is that would be a big improvement would be to put a magnetic closure on the case as with some of the other variations of holsters.

The Velcro wears out in about two weeks of regular use and is also annoyingly loud when in a meeting inside of even outside. Please at least offer a choice of closures. The closure issue is the reason for the four stars, otherwise it would get five.

the case is almost 100% i would have liked to have the soft material inside on both sides. when i put my phone with the screen toward me the inside is hard plastic it should have the scratch resistant fabric there also.

i put self adhesive soft pad in myself and i love it phone fits perfect. the only case i can find that is this size. Best case i ever had.

Fits my samsung 9+ phone with the otter box outer rubber phone cover very well. A little larger in height and width the my previous cammo nite ize case. But all and all works well. Couldn’t locate my camo nite ize so I settled on this one.

Would have given 5 star rating however this belt clip doesn’t rotate 360 degrees as my old case.

Just got my Midnight Blue Dual Pro from Amazon in today. First thing, I like how the inner part of the case is frosted blue, and solid blue on the top and bottom. Second thing, is the outer shell of the case is a nice matte finish, which means a resistance to smudges and finger prints.

I generally use a clear case on my phones with a hard back and TPU around the edges to show off the color of the phone. The main problem, aside from the TPU bumper yellowing over time, is the amount of finger prints that show up along with any specks of dust that get inside.

The third thing I like about this case, the raised bezel on the top to keep the screen safe from a face down fall, and the camera has a nice amount of depth to it to keep the lens safe when laying down flat.

Moving along are the cutouts. The camera cutout is nice and even, the bottom cutouts are nice and even, although the left speaker is slightly smaller on the Max, and the lightning port has a big enough cutout for using a third party lighting cable if you opt to not use wireless charging.

Finally, which I have seen some reviewers on Amazon mention to be a slight issue for them, is the tactile feel of the buttons and the cutout for the silence rocker switch. The silence rocker is a bit recessed, but I found no major issue with switching it on or off.

The volume buttons and the main power button, have a nice solid tactile feel to them and are not that difficult to press. In closing, this is a nice case overall, without being as bulky as some other cases, has a nice amount of grip, feels solid in the hand and offers nice all around protection.

I would recommend this to anyone, not wanting to spend too much or too little on an overall great case for their new XS Max.

I work in an pharmacy, but I’m also the IT guy, the maintenance man etc. I’ve sworn by Incipio cases for years going all the way back to an IPhone 3G. I use these in place of otterbox because they’re significantly cheaper and protect better while doing a better job of maintaining a thin phone.

I’ve had phone after phone over the years and while the cases (particulary on the corners) may chip and break over time, I’ve never had damage to my phone. All the while watching friends go “but I had it in an otterbox!” as they stare at the busted screen in disbelief.

The plastic doesn’t seem to be quite as strong (I’m on my 3rd V40 case in 2 years) and seems to crack near the top corners (the outer shell, not the phone) even without drops. Due to the case sort of cracking over time on its own I only gave it 4 stars.

It’s job is to protect my device. I’ve yet to be disappointed in a dual-pro case for it’s lack of protection.

I was using this case for my Xs and it was working well, just like a normal case. However, I went to a school dance with my phone in my lose fitting pocket, and then was in the middle of the mosh pit for about 30 minutes when I noticed I no longer had my phone.

It took us about 15 minutes until we found it, and we were expecting it to be completely destroyed or at least crippled. Both of the front and back cameras didn’t have a scratch and the screen only had a hairline crack that could pass as a scratch.

The back of the case was pretty scrapped up, especially the corner next to the camera, but other than that no damage was done to my phone. Luck definitely played a role, but being in the mosh pit for that long and surviving takes a stellar iPhone case.

Not only does it protect well, but it also feels really good in your hand too. I would highly recommend.

Case was recieved quickly, and in good shape. I love the lightness and how clear it is. The case protects my phone perfectly and is nice and slim. It was scratched on the back however but it’s usable until I choose another style.

I really wanted a clear case to show off my phone but sadly I can’t with this item.

Nice transparent case with hard plastic backing. TPU plastics all around gives it excellent drop protection. However, the hard plastic scratched easily

Overall, this case protects my LG V30 & allows it to show off its ‘style’. I just wish it the back of the case wasn’t so easily (and visibly) scratched, but better the case than the back of the phone.

The one thing I am really hoping for, but won’t know for a while, is if the case discolors with age.

The bottom of the case near the usb c plug cracked apart. Its not that much of a deal, but it hasn’t been subjected to anything that would cause it to come apart. It still fits nice and snug, and will give some level of protection.

Its starting to have a yellowish tint to it n it hasn’t been that long. Its pretty good for the price though.

Husband seemed to really like the clear case. From what I witnessed he had the case for a very long time considering the cheap price. I don’t believe he has the case anymore because the connecting joints have worn.

Lasted about a year.

Bought Nov.2017, failed May.2018. Exactly 6 months. Rubber split at corner and between holes cut for Mic and plug port. Seems to have dried out and turned yellowish in color.

This is my second one of these cases. I got the extended battery a few months ago, and love it. I originally purchased the white case, and due to the kind of plastic it is, it picks up every bit of crud that comes in contact, and even cleaning it with bleach didn’t really work.

So, I bought the black one instead. It arrived all wonky, so they’re sending me a new one. Given that it’s the only option for a case with the extended battery, I guess it’ll do. I’d like better protection like my old Otterbox, but this is better than nothing.

So far so good with this battery. It does last a while. Not quite as long as other reviews are saying, but it does go all day. The case is a good case too. Gorilla even gave me a break on the shipping for the case, as I wasn’t aware you needed a specific case for this battery.

I’d buy again for Gorilla!!!.

I got this to accompany my new Gorilla Battery, which is AWESOME, by the way. The case feels good, doesn’t get caught up in my pocket, and I like the hexagonal pattern, which helps with grip.

My last Tech21 case (for an LG G3) was my favorite of all time, and this new Evo case is better looking and maybe even more protective? I say that because of the bumper edge that is not solid, but more like a shock absorber around the perimeter.

The tactile feel of these cases is REALLY important, because the best way to avoid damage is to not drop it in the first place. I might give that edge to the older case, but that might be chalked up to the fact that I was more used to its feel, too.

I just put this on, but my old case protected my phone from numerous “concrete drops” on an exposed aggregate driveway! Whew. Best thing about this new case? It’s a tie: 1) Minimum bulk added to handset for maximum protection.

2) Go with the clear/white–that white-ringed perimeter gets your attention and makes the phone easier to find and notice before you leave the table at a restaurant. Great products! Bravo, Tech21, on a nice sequel.

Great value here. So far I’ve had a couple drops and this case handled it very well. The cut outs are all in the right places, well centered, wide and you’ll have no trouble even with bulky 3. 5 mm aux cables or charging chords, including the microphone hole, all perfectly aligned.

Looks sophisticated too if that’s your thing. The case hugs the phone nicely and feels secure and yet it is easy to slip off and on when needed. Maybe the only con if I was nitpicking are the edges of the cutouts, these areas are not as smooth as I would have hoped for and can be less then desirable for gripping your phone for gaming but again great, inexpensive, yet stylish case.

The positive side is that this case is a very solid and designed with fine precision, it would definitely provide great protection. The negative side is that it is about 1/8 inch thick along the sides so it actually makes my phone noticeably bigger.

I feel I am holding a much bigger phone with this case on.

Great phone case. It’s nice and slim, a must for a large phone. I dropped my phone the first day I used the cover and it protected it well.

I’m not usually a fan of Incipio cases but their Octane line of cases look great, feel great and are tougher than they look. A great buy in my opinion. I’ve bought them for my last 3 phones.

Awesome case, less bulky than my old Incipio case and does just as well protecting my V20.

PRO: * Slim design helps to keep the size manageable for this almost too big LG V20 * Nice style (got the clear ice color) * Fit is good with no slack or wiggle in the case CON: * Case is a bit hard to attach to phone and remove, but once on, it does a good job of protecting the phone.

Worried about bending or harming the phone when installing, and no instructions as to how to correctly put it on the phone. * Case is slick in sections on the sides since its plastic and this makes it sometimes hard to hold: I dropped the phone twice before I got use to that.

Thinking I might sandpaper these slick parts, but reluctant to mess up the look of the case – Maybe some sticky tape? * No belt clip or any attachment that would let me hook it on to my belt or pants or whatever.

I had to buy a holster to put it in to carry it around in other than my pocket. * A little expensive for what it is, but guess it was worth it since when I dropped the phone (see above) it suffered no damage.

OVERALL: * Guess I am more pleased than not, and won’t send it back. But could have been engineered better for a sure hold: a little more rubber on the sides would help. This is mainly why I gave it 3 stars.

I have owned so many other cases in the past that I thought were good, but this one outshines them all. I love the style, the feel in my hand, the texture, and how slim it is. I fits in your pocket, as well as in a nice carry case, and isn’t hard to get out of either, like so many others.

I have to say this is my favorite phone case, and the protection is incredible! Light weight, impact resistant, and just bounces if you drop it, with no damage to the case or phone. I am so happy I bought this!.

Great fit! I’ve had problems with other lesser quality cases with connecting my charger or headphones / audio jacks. This works perfect as the holes are perfectly positioned and large enough.

Coming from the exact same model of case on an s10e, this isn’t what I was hoping for. Since I liked it in that phone i figured it would be the same, but sadly it’s been changed for the worse. The good is that it still offers great drop protection and looks great as well.

The ability to change the power color buttons is a nice touch. The bad is that the design is uncomfortable to hold and is too slippery compared to the older versions As a left handed person when I hold the phone my pinky is resting under the slot for the bottom speaker.

The cutout is unfortunately too sharp compared to other s21U cases I have tried, and over tome makes it very uncomfortable to hold for over ten min or so. Secondly, the sides of the case are now a matte finish instead of glossy.

This makes it extremely slippery and easy to drop compared to the glossy finish, and the feel in the hand is not nearly as nice. It’s not that this case is bad or anything, but after using it for a month it is a solid step down from the previous versions in terms of holding it (which is most of the experience of using a case besides drop protection), and most of it comes down to the matte slippery sides.

I have had good experience with Tech21 phone protectors and have standardized on Tech21 on all of my phones for over 7 years. The phones have been dropped several times and the silicon case absorbs the impact and protects the phone each time.

I upgraded all three of my cell phones this summer as I switched services. The first step was to purchase new Tech21 covers to protect the phones. I looked at the Best Buy website and found the case I wanted.

I was traveling and expected to return home in a few days. I purchased the Tech21 from Best Buy and the price included 1 day delivery to my home at no extra cost. All three of my phones have Tech21 covers, I had to look around a little to find covers that are slightly different so that I can tell the phones apart.

I have loved Tech21’s cases for a long time. They may not be pretty (as in, they don’t have a lot of designs or colors) but they protect the phone like crazy. I have used them for the last three phones I bought, and the only reason my iPhone 12 does not wear one is because the Tech21 changed the shape to match the slab sides of the iPhone which is not what I wanted.

I wanted a case like the one I have on my OnePlus 9. Round and comfy as well as protective. My iPhone wears a fancy case, but I can accidentally trip and toss my OnePlus 9 across the room and it will be safe.

I know this because it happened.

This is a nice, lightweight case. It’s similar in make and feel to the one I had on my S9 for 2 years. I had a screen protector on the S9 too, dropped it probably 50 times over the time I had it. When I upgraded and turned that one back in, you couldn’t tell it had ever been used.

So, hoping this will do the same for the next few years with screen protector and case. It’s a nice enough fit that I put one of those credit card/license holders on the back and I hardly notice it. Because the phone is big, this is probably the best case I could find that doesn’t add much at all to the dimensions.

I also have the case with the S pen. It’s good too, but noticeably bigger. But that S pen is pretty cool. So during the week I use that one for work and on weekends I switch to lighter one when I don’t use the pen much.

I got this case to replace one on my trusty old lg v30 that I had for 3+ years but was coming unglued. I like the look of the old one but the rough edges made it uncomfortable to hold. This case is nice and smooth and looks great with a satin red color.

Wish I got this case originally. Hopefully it lasts as long as the last one did. My only concern is how the satiny finish holds up to scratches and use.

I absolutely love the DualPro and the DualPro shine as well! I’ve been using them since my iPhone 4 (in fact maybe even my 3GS. I can’t remember. One or the other), and I was big on switching up cases, so I used to get most of the main ones you hear about.

I have to be honest and say that the DualPro is the one that always stayed on the phone for longest amount time! Unless I would change my case to match my outfit!!! Sincd I’ve grown out of caring about other cases.

my kids have become old enough for cell phones, and they need cases as well (it’s a must!) So instead of buying other brands for myself, I just get them all the same set up for their iPhones! Which is an Incipio DualPro case! And a tempered glass screen protector.

May I add my husband is in construction and uses this as well, and my kids are all boys!!!! Soo you can imagine that we have plenty of drops and bangs and lord only knows what! And with the case, many phones survived it all.

I try to pass the phones down to the youngest kids. So put it this way! I have a iPhone 5C that my youngest son now is the owner of! And when taken out of the case, there is not a nick to be found, or a scratch.

That phone has been thru 3 kids (boys) onto the 4th! And looks as good as the day it was bought. I couldn’t be more honest. So why would we use anything else. I do feel that sometimes the case seems to slip right out of my hands, but even if it does I don’t worry about it! As one other reviewer said, some traction on the sides would be great.

But if not, you won’t hear me complain! So as I buy a new case for my high school graduate who has a iPhone 6, and hasn’t asked for a new phone! But he’s said he’d like a plus eventually. So we will be getting him a 7 plus and a Apple Watch for his HS grad, and for him doing so well and going off to his first choice college in the fall, and winning a very generous diploma.

So he works hard and deserves it! When I asked him what kind of case did he want, he said ¥the same one that’s been on my last 2 phones!! You can’t go wrong with many of Incipio’s products. For the ones I’ve used I’ve always been more then satisfied.

And affordable is also extremely important So I say. 5 stars and go for it!.

Good product for a fair price. Easy to hold compared to some of the other cases used in the past. But in the end it is your choice, I think this UAG case is as good as any other brand on the market, don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

This UAG cover fits perfect as all their products do. Absolutely the most protective case you can buy for the money. Really like the way it looks too.

I can say this works great. I dropped my phone three times on concrete. (Reasons why you hold the phone instead of putting it on top of the stack you are carrying. ) The only time the case wasn’t like new was the last time when it landed exactly on the corner.

The rubber insert kept my phone safe and the force of the fall went to the cover. I bought two more so I would have a backup next time. The packaging says Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Express Prime 2 Galaxy J3 Emerge J327P (J3 2017) Meets military drop-test standard (MIL-STD 810G-516.

6) Other notes of interest: Consists of a soft silicone rubber insert that hugs your phone and extends around the corners. A hard case snaps over it and is slightly raised on the front to protect the screen when you set the phone down face first.

The case is very smooth and glossy so it slides easily into your pocket. At first I thought that was a bad thing but the rubber tabs on the side give it traction so it won’t slip out of your hand and it feels nice.

(Just don’t put it on top of a stack of books you are carrying like I did. ) I had the previous case for a year and it still looked brand new. I have the Hibiscus Electric Purple version so nobody else around me has the same case.

Bonus.

Background story: I had this type of case for another phone for two years and I had dropped my phone numerous time without any damage. When I brought another phone (another brand) of course the old case would not fit it.

I made the MAJOR mistake of ordering a different type of case (wanting something different). Within 2 weeks of using that case, I had dropped my phone and the case front broke (phone was safe but case was now useless).

I decided to stick with what I know and ordered this case but in a different design and color (as my Mom now have my old phone with my much loved case). While people may not like the thickness of it, I really appreciate it because it keeps the phone very much protected.

If you have slippery fingers like me, I say order this case, you won’t be disappointed.

Had an armor shockproof case on another phone that came in two pieces that wrap around phone and was a bit surprised that this was more like a skin. Black part is rubber-like cushioning material and design part is hard plastic.

That said, wraps snugly around the K20 Plus phone from the back and does an excellent job of protecting the corners and back. Thinner than the other case we have, and is thus easier to hold. Much easier to hold than phone by itself, which was one of our goals.

This case works fine for me. If you need a case that has a raised rim to protect the face of your phone this isn’t it, but this one does a good job at a good price.

After half an hour of use at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, the camera becomes like burning coal, overheats and turns off. The video is crashing. The video quality is terrible – everything is soapy and noisy even in good lighting conditions.

Sent it back for a replacement. If they send the same illiquid – I will hand over and return the money. A nightmare. Every year gopro is made worse and worse.

Pretty good phone case for the price. My last one broke after a year so I decided to try this one and it’s not bad. A little light weight but seems to take falls well enough. After a fall you gotta make sure it’s still clicked together because sometimes it comes apart on 1 side.

I’d give this phone a 7/10. Not the best phone case but far from the worst. You get what you paid for but I’m happy with it overall.

It’s TUFF, it’s kindof bulky (I’ve seen worse) and streamlined at the same time. My phone is so pretty and delicate-looking, I can’t stand the thought of breaking it, and my life-style is pretty on-the-move, so I know it’s going to take a few flyers in its lifetime.

The goal is to make it survive as long as it can. I think this is going to help with that. My blue phone looks snazzy through the clear-ish case, and all the buttons and holes lineup in the right place.

(Okay, it’s heavy-ish, but not at the top weight in the range. Don’t expect sleek. ).

I like uag cases because they are not only stylish but they are also protective. that means alot when they can meet military specifications. all while being non bulky and intrusive. The only thing I wish that could be improved on was if the amount of shock absorbing material could be increased on the rim around the front of the phone (screen side).

When my phone is dropped face down I prefer for there to be a bigger lip between the screen and the flat surface my phone has landed on. That way if there is something like a paperclip. penny. or something else flat on the ground my screen wouldn’t touch it.

But other than that this is a protective case that doesn’t break the bank. JCole.

I love my LG V10 and I love having an UAG Case on it. Unfortunately I did not have the same options for my phone as there were for others. There was not a choice in a folio case or even a choice of a Magma/Cobalt color in a composite case (I would have ordered a Magma or Magma Folio if given the option).

I also own a Galaxy Tab S2 and there were not any cases available for it (or any other Android Tablet). That was unfortunate and I had to order a different type of case. Overall I love the UAG Cases that are available.

However with such a low selection of product it’s hard to rate it the same as I would other brands.

I love my case for my V10, and have the same thing for my G4. Only downside is that the V10 model cases don’t come in the same color options as the G4 and others. Also, would like to see the folio style for the V10 like you have for the Galaxy S6.

Otherwise, when this case is paired with a glass screen protector I feel like I have comparable protection to Otterbox without the plain look and bulk.

I love Speck cases and have used them for the last 5+ years with Android phones, so I checked Speck first when I switched to the new iPhone 13 pro. I was concerned about other reviews that said that this case wasn’t grippy enough or other reviews elsewhere that said the case was too tight to get on/off the phone, but I really wanted a clear case to be able to see the color of the phone I got and this just seemed like the best product for the job, and I trusted Speck enough to deliver.

First, I LOVE the clear – it meets all of the expectations I had there. Second, I didn’t find it too tight to put on at all. It’s snug but not to any concerning level or that made it too difficult to put on.

so I’m not sure what those other reviews were talking about. Third, I read some reviews that said that this case made the phone more slippery than if it didn’t have a case and it wasn’t grippy enough, but I don’t agree with that either.

The case isn’t tacky rubber but it’s definitely more grippy than without the case, and it makes me more comfortable holding it and trust that it’s not going to slip out of my hand. So. again, ignore those weird comments in other reviews.

The only issue that I have is that the case scratches more easily than I anticipated. I know that it’s not that tacky type of rubber so scratches would be more expected, but it seems to be getting scratched from the surfaces I’ve put it on more than anything else.

I have dropped my phone a few times since I got it, and the case has absolutely protected it and not cracked or broken the phone or the case so I’m glad about that, but the scratches aren’t from dropping it (otherwise I’d totally understand that).

Instead it just seems like the coffee table or side tables that it sits on most of the time are scratching it as I pick it up/put it down. It probably wouldn’t be an issue if the case wasn’t clear, but I should have thought about how scratches would look on a clear case before I decided on it.

I have a graphite iPhone 13 Pro and switched from the black version of this case to the clear. Perhaps I’m losing my mind, but I swear the clear version is a bit lighter, which is nice. I will agree with other reviewers that it was incredibly hard to get on, and now that it is on I’ve noticed some smears or something on the sides and top of the phone that I think are from the case being so tight.

I’m not sure, but I’m going to see if they go away with time otherwise I will try to take it off and put it back on. Time will tell as far as how the case holds up and quite frankly regardless of any advertising I expect any cleare case to turn yellow at some point.

Overall, though I liked the raised rubber grips of previous generations as many other people did, I really do like the way the grips have now been incorporated into the same material on the new version of these cases.

Originally the “redo” of the Presidio Grip was was terrible, but when they revised it again for the iPhone 13 lineup it seems they listened to previous reviews and made some good changes. I always think the Presidio Grip has the best feel in the hand of any similar type case; the textured areas just seem to be in the right place for holding the phone securely.

Without a doubt, the clear version of this case is probably very slippery and likely not for me as I am prone to dropping my phone and also like to take it on hikes and adventures. I just agree with other reviewers who have said the buttons are difficult to press.

That is not my experience at all, unless this has been fixed since those reviews. I have always liked Speck and although I have bought other cases here and there I somehow always go back to Speck. Yes, the cases have been damaged when I have dropped my phone but my phone has always been protected.

And isn’t that the whole point? So far I’m really happy with my purchase.

Once I bought the iPhone 7 Plus version of this case, it halted my personal iPhone case quest. I’d been through literally dozens of “The Best” cases. I’d tried all the highly rated cases and the 50-foot drop tested cases (if you know the website I’m referring to, it sets a very high bar on case protection).

I don’t go through a lot of cellular phones. or cases – once I’d decided on a case. I’ve just now upgraded from the iPhone 7 Plus to the the iPhone 13 Pro. My wife did a similar update, going to the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The Speck Presidio Grip was highly rated back when the iPhone 7 was new (Eh?). I’d been through a lot of cases, over 2 dozen of the highest rated cases at the time, on a quest for perfection, which landed on the Speck Presidio Grip.

Once I’d recently upgraded to the iPhone 3 Pro didnt’t even look at current iPhone case reviews – I ordered a Speck Presidio2 Grip case. Looking back, I’m glad I didn’t look at current reviews before ordering, which seem to downgrade this case for the recent changes.

The Presidio Grip was highly rated back in the iPhone 7 Plus days. The rubber grip lines weren’t just a design/fashion statement – they made the case very grippy. I went through two Presidio Grip cases for that phone, with the rubber grip-strips wearing down after years of use on my first version of this case.

I didn’t mind that it “wore out” after years of use. The Presidio Grip was my “perfect iPhone case”, due to the grippy-ness, combined with the slimness, and the protection. I just recently upgraded to the iPhone 13 Pro, and immediately ordered a Speck Presidio2 Grip case for it.

I was surprised to see some of the current reviews, downgrading it from previous versions due to the changes Speck had made to the case. The previous rubber strips are gone, but the grip lines are still there in a different way.

It had me worrying as I waited for the case to be delivered. No need to worry. Speck’s re-make of this case to accomodate MagSafe recharging still leave it as one of absolute best iPhone cases available (IMO obviously, but also from a broad perspective).

The overall edge grip isn’t downgraded at all, which some current reviewers seem to falsely indicate. The back of the case no longer has built-up rubber grip lines on the back of the case, but has grip-line cutouts there, accomodating MagSafe recharging.

I don’t need to go on another “Case Quest” for my new iPhone. this is it, If you liked the Presidio Grip, you’ll still like the Presido2 Grip.

Factory OEM accessory part for V10 phone. I had another one exactly like this. Lasted a year. Dropping the phone 2x on same corner broke the upper retaining wraparound cover protector. And 2x on the lower corner.

Falling out of the car or from table. The previous one protected the phone. I do not even use a screen protector. No scratches on screen because of the velvet/rubber cover. And no damage to the phone frame.

I had one just like it with my other phone and it never wore out. My screen never cracked and the flip cover provides superb protection from scratching. It also closes the screen with immediate screen time out.

The LG OEM quick cover cases is the longest lasting folio case I’ve had. I’m replacing my first one after 3 years of use, only because its so cheap to get a new one. I don’t really like the shiny cover, but the quality and protection is excellent.

When I upgraded my phone to the S8+ I wanted the same case I had been using in the past, which is this exact case. However, I went with the Seidio Dilex case initially, as it looked more rugged. In hindsight, a bad idea.

There is nothing protecting the screen on the Dilex, but I was used to having some type of cloth – like this case has – to protect the screen. After a month of the Dilex, my screen has slight marring or indents on it from the where the unprotected swivel bevel would rest directly on the screen.

I only give this one 4 stars, because I know they could be sturdier. I’ve had to get a warranty exchange on one unit in the past. But overall, I’ll keep buying this one. It is much lighter than the Dilex and has some kind of screen protection.

I needed a case that I could wear on my hip. This case does the job! Initially, the buttons were too stiff and held down the device buttons making them inoperable. But, after using a knife to cut away some of the plastic between the buttons and the actual case it works perfectly with great tactile response!.

I’ve had to replace these holsters several times because the clip springs only last a year or so. Seidio no longer offers these on their website as the Galaxy 8+ is two years old, so I bought both of the available holsters you had listed.
